Very nice facilities, beautiful paths. Quite a lot to see and can take a while going around this place. Several gastronomic facilities, a places to eat inside (very interesting Thai corner). It is very good organize and friendly for the kids. There is so many playground inside, real fun for the kids. Just a small remark is that there are usually no parking spaces nearby, the host provided enough parking spaces some 1.2 km away from the ZOO itself and organized a shuttle bus that transports visitors to the ZOO and back. And you can use public transport, both the bus and the tram itself.

A good outing with my daughter and friends last autumn. Lots of animals to see/explore but Elephant show was the highlight of the day. Overall an enjoyable day despite the weather.

Zurich Zoo is an absolute gem! Our visit here was nothing short of spectacular. The zoo's commitment to wildlife conservation is truly commendable. The variety of animals and their well-maintained habitats left us in awe. We were able to see animals from all over the world, and the enclosures felt spacious and natural, providing a comfortable and enriching environment for the animals. It's an enriching experience for families, nature enthusiasts, and anyone who cares about our planet's wildlife.

Despite the relatively cold weather most animals looked happy and thriving. Not the greatest variety of animals to see but the still a fun place to visit especially with the kids. The large greenhouse was an experience by itself, but when I opened the last door I found myself out of the zoo and had to walk back to the entrance! Good thing that I kept my tickets. tramline 6 has a final stop that is a five minute walk from the zoo.

They have different animals, some you can see in an air conditioned large rooms and some are outdoor, the zoo is organized and have different shops inside. Most areas of the zoo support trolleys and special needs wheelchairs. We tried the rice and vegetable curry and it was good.

Honestly an amazing experience. I've been here 4 times over the last 2 years and there is always something more to see. The zoo is always doing more to add amazing animal friendly enclosures. There are a few that feel "sad" but for 95% its a great Habitat.

I loved it so much!! But it was hot so I’ll prefer we go in spring but I had so much fun! And I prefer you guys go in the weekdays because it doesn’t get crowded but anyways i highly recommend going there!!

Really nice Zoo, we went there after lunchtime (15:00) and there were no queues and it was super quick to get in. The park was not too crowded at this time either, which in turn gave us a really nice experience as well. I think this may be the reason many of the animals did not hide, so it was nice to be able to see so many of them! After we walked through the full park, we treated ourselves a mini-safari-train back!

Spectacular view and animal assortment. Good food too if needed and a lot of places to rest/drink. Be aware: to visit it all by feet will require around 4hours.

Easy to get there with the tram. No waiting times if you order and print your tickets in advance. Nice, clean and good cared. Great areas for animals and visitors. Beautiful and interesting new buildings. Even on a rainy day nice to visit.

Amazing Zoo with a lot to see. Zoo supports different Projects around the world to preserve nature and animals which is a great plus for me. Tickets are little higher than expected but totally worth it. Amazing savanna and rain forest just behind Zurich city jungle. Be prepared to walk a lot and take a whole day for this trip. Toilets and small restaurants are around every corner. But it’s better to bring your own water and snacks to save you some money.

Very good place for a day out. It has a massive indoor Rain forrest. A lot of good animal sanctuaries in the zoo. Most of the animals are living in a huge natural open environment. Only the penguins felt like they are in a prison. Overall a good zoo.

Great place to visit. Was worried about parking as I visited on a Saturday but this was very well organised and lots of spaces. The attractions are great. Had to revise our route due to the car park we parked at and entering the park at a side entrance (hint this was much less busy than the main entrance). My favourites were the elephants and gorillas. The gift shops and restaurants were good to. Highly recommended. 5*****

If you're looking for a 360° View over Zürich, then you must visit this spot. Also several Hiking trails are available, the scenery and nature are so beautiful, and you can have a quick lunch (some food stands offer super delicious Swiss Würst with the authentic kartoffelsalat) or you can eat at the Uto Kulm restaurant and enjoy some raclette / fondue.

Must-see to visit when being in Zurich. Only 25 minutes from Zurich HB to get there and the view is amazing! Also, it’s nice to take a walk in the mountain to explore some paths.

We hiked approximately 11.5 miles roundtrip from Zurich City Center to Uetliberg. It was worth the visit and had amazing views of the city and the alps along the way. We had coffee and snack in a restaurant at the top. Walking up the tower was worthwhile though it was very windy when we went since there was a storm coming.

An absolute must do when visiting Zurich. A stunning view and easy to access by train or if you have the time there are lovely trails all the way to the top.

The vibrant colors of the changing seasons only added to the allure of the landscape. Uetliberg is also a haven for nature enthusiasts. The well-maintained trails are perfect for hiking, jogging, and even mountain biking. The serene atmosphere and fresh mountain air provided a much-needed escape from the daily grind. Near to Zürich by train, a nice location to escape from the usual sightseeing. We were welcomed by a nice view and a freezing cold wind. The access to the tower was 2CHF and takes you to the top to gaze the surrounding valleys and mountains.

A beautiful place with breathtaking views of Zurich and the Alps. In winter a fairytale snowy landscape and sledding fun for the whole family and in summer a popular destination for athletes and nature lovers. Accessible only on foot or by public transport. About 10 minutes on foot from the Uetlibergbahn to the observation tower.

Absolutely fantastic mountain to walk upto . There is a simple walk route, one train route and one little wild but super exciting route . Totally loved the experience of going up on a nice warm summer day

I hiked up to Uetliberg from city center. Absolutely lovely hike, loved the trails up to the top. I took the train down to Zurich HB. There are great views all throughout the trails of nature and Zurich. The trail did have a lot of stairs and some steepness but a relatively easy trail with a little elevation.

Absolutely fantastic art museum in Zurich. Huge collections of Impressionist and modern art which are my personal favorite styles. They have several rotating exhibits which are worth visiting, but do not miss the permanent collections either! Highly recommend this museum, I would come back next time I am in town. Easy to spend 2-3 hours or more there.

This museum blew my mind away. You really need more than one day to absorb and delight in both the exhibits and the private collections. Take your time and if you need a respite they have a fantastic shop and a cool restaurant to gather your thoughts. A must when visiting Zurich.

What a phenomenal museum! Great space, first of all, every painting was given loads of room to breathe. Amazing collection and smoothly presented. All the big names are here. The exhibitions are presented in such a way that a normal visitor walk-through culminates in a climax of the biggest names and the most impressive (at least fame wise) art pieces in modern history. We must have spent an hour in the last two rooms of Monet, Matisse, and van Gogh. And then you realize there's the second half of the collection across the street. Highly recommend getting the audio guide. Went on a summery Sunday, not crowded at all.

Impressive collection from famous artists and from different artistics periods. I found it trick to walk without getting lost due to my inability to read the map. There is also an underground tunnel to access the other part of the museum, which I found quite interesting. Highly recommended for those who are visiting Zurich.

Massive collection of enormous cultural influence and value. Impressionist and post-impressionist galore. Elegant museum building with lots of air and light. I visited Kunsthaus over the weekend, and was pleasantly surprised that it was not crowded. According to Kunsthaus website, on Wednesdays admission is free. Visit to the Kunsthaus makes for a delightful day to remember and cherish. To everyone at Kunsthaus: thank you!

Very good collection with the big classic names and works of the modern art as well as interesting modern temporary exhibitions. Building is worth a visit as well. Large stairs, clean bathrooms and lots of art. Take your time to explore both buildings.

If it's your first time to Zurich and interested in fine arts, it is the must-come place for sure! Very elegant design of exhibition movements, and it's super cozy and elegant to hang around the exhibitions! Almost no border with the world famous paintings! And the best part is that it's much less crowded than some other major city museums!

Kunsthaus is a great place to visit. The art collection is amazing and the temporary exhibitions are always interesting. I especially love the new building, it is so well designed and full of natural light. It's a gem in the middle of Zurich!

I can't explain what a special experience this is. A big and very impressive collection of art to rival most other cities - but without the crowds. I spent a whole day there, and I'd love to go back for more! What an incredible collection of Alberto Giacometti! My highlight was the glass/light/sound room. ❤️

What a great art museum! They have the largest collection of dada pieces in the world making in a exceptional experience if you follow that movement. There are many pieces from classic painters such as Picasso, Monet, Manet, Munch, Rembrandt, and more. There are two museum buildings across the street from each other which you can reach by crossing the street or by using the underground tunnel. Backpacks must be checked, photography is allowed, and the museum is free on Wednesdays except for the special rotating exhibit. Expect to spend 2-3 hours perusing the paintings.

This is the church with twin towers that is highly recommended by locals and is iconic of Zurich. Too bad that Swiss Travel Pass isn’t eligible for the church’s admission. The gentleman who sells the ticket was very friendly and polite. The church has a beautiful organ and the stained glasses are beautiful.

Climb the tower and get a nice air breeze and view of the city. I had Zürich card so admission was included. Don’t be afraid of climbing the stairs as they open up shortly after.

It's a symbol in Zurich. You can go up to the tower at 5 swiss francs for adults and 2 francs for students. You will see the panoramic view of the Zurich and it's better to visit in the morning or in the evening. You will see other 2 churches across the river.

It's a beautiful church in a beautiful district. You don't need a ticket to visit the church or the crypt. But you will need a 5CHF ticket to go up the tower. Also, you must arrive before 5, and you'll need at least 15 minutes to go up and down before they close the door. Remember that there are many stairs and at parts the staircase gets very narrow, but you will have a beautiful view of the city at the top. Although you are not allowed to go out on the balconies. So if you have a heart problem or are claustrophobic, you might want to hold on on the tower, There are many other places in the city which you can get a view from top. Also, the crypt is closed on rainy days.

When in Zürich pay a visit here. This is a nice historic building and an functional church. It will take 5-30 minutes to tour the insides (free) and 15-30 minutes to go to the top (a ticket is required). And don't forget about the crypt, it hides some secrets!

Wonderful and historical church at the heart of Zurich with an imposing view. It's free to explore some parts of the interior but please be quiet and respectful. Outside the church there are some great photo ops overlooking Fraumunster and Zurich across the river.

A great church in the middle of the city and at the side of the river. Besides its importance, it also has great views at its garden. You must climb a few stairs to reach the church. Also there is a tower which is suitable to climb to the top. It definitely offers a breathtaking panoramic view of city of zurich from a very high point, possibly the highest man-made point in the city. But I must also say climbing to the tower might be challenging since staircase is narrow and tower is high

Good old authentic Swiss food. We didn’t plan on going here until we asked a bunch of locals for an authentic restaurant. We went here, the schnitzel, cord en blue and pork shank were good. Potato salad is an amazing side that’s not on the menu. You have to make a reservation or U have no chance of getting in for dinner. The apple strudel for dessert was good.

We were walking around and stumbled on this place. The line was long so we thought I must have been good. The line moved quickly and we were Seated in just a few minutes. The food here was delicious! As a family of four we all ordered something different including an appetizer and tried all of our dishes. Everything was great! Definitely would recommend.

This place is a must-visit if you want to try out authentic traditional Swiss food in a traditional Swiss restaurant. Be sure to make a reservation in advance as this place was packed when we visited around lunch time. They have menus in multiple languages and the staff were very enthusiastic, helpful and friendly. Was brought her for lunch by my local friends and I tried the veal with Rosti (can’t exactly remember the name of the dish). The meal was served in around 10-15 minutes despite the restaurant being packed during lunch. Will definitely return!

Food was really good and the staff were so friendly. I loved the schnitzel and the staff had suggested I have the potato salad as a side. I thought they went perfectly. The potato salad was a little tangy, which balanced out the grease from the schnitzel. Also had a side of sauerkraut and that was a huge serving. Very good though.

It's only accessible by foot. The Swiss food was not too bad at all. It's just a bit unusually salty for Asians. Advance reservation is highly recommended for tourists. The toilet is only accessible by stairs since the place was built in over a century. Wheelchair is completely inaccessible to the toilet. Service was still great despite its crowd.

Amazing service and food! Came here due to the good reputation and reviews and was not disappointed. We had the traditional bratwurst with potato salad and the sliced beef salad, with the house beer and then raspberry meringue for desert. The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. I would note that if you are a group of 2 and wish to sit outside, you will share half the table with another couple. If your group is bigger than 2 then this wouldn’t be an issue. Other than that I couldn’t recommend this restaurant more and will definitely return when in Zurich again.

Traditional beer house experience. Perfect for introduction to the Swiss German cuisine. Recommend to come early in case you need to make the line, go with the flow and enjoy the atmosphere.

We had an absolutely perfect evening here! We did not have a booking, and it was very busy, but they seated us after a short wait (2 people). There are shared tables, so the atmosphere is vibrant and people are lovely! The food was excellent. A good range of Swiss dishes, extremely well prepared. The pork was cooked perfectly and their house dessert was extremely tasty, best meringue I've ever had! Their service is friendly and warm, yet professional. Every server was wonderful and very helpful.

It was super crowded! But thanks for the reviews on the Google map, I made a reservation at first!! So I don't need to wait😍 The historical meaning and the atmosphere of this old arsenal is cool for me! The cuisines, however, weren't fit my taste. I would say just on average.

We spent two days in Zurich, and I wanted to find the place with the most authentic atmosphere and food. I suspect this beer garden gets to be the spot. We had the veal Zurich style here, and it was the most delicious one we had throughout our stay in Switzerland. Either beer on the menu you try, they are all great choices. The pork shank with the rosti was excellent as well. The bottom line, this is a must-try place with authentic dishes, beer, and a great atmosphere.

Delicious food for dinner. We ordered veal with mushrooms in delicious creamy sauce and sausages with mashed potatoes. Great atmosphere with armoury decorations and built in 1487. I would highly recommend must go for anyone visiting Zurich.

Must visit. Great restaurant with interesting history. Delicious food, great drinks, awesome service, and friendly staff. Place always packed, but it is worth the wait, which you will be seated in reasonable time. If you are a party of two, expect to share table with others, which is cool to meet other travelers. 1898, the oldest vegetarian restaurant in the world. Very cool ambience, quick, professional and nice service. Few dishes on the menu or you can enjoy the bigger buffet. Very taste and delicious food. Juices are so good. They have also wine. In the morning the buffet for breakfast is unique. Enjoy.

Truly this is the world best incredible vegetarian restaurant & bar. Also, The biggest veg buffet I have ever seen in Zürich. They have so many options in foods also the desserts. The Vegetarian lovers have a best selections there. Also Non-Veg lovers can try theirs foods. The Buffet is pay-by-weight. Not cheap, but very good. In my suggestion don’t go on noon because they will have a big crowd and you have to waiting for the tables. But, when you visit on evening or maybe dinner you will have lot of places. The place is perfect for any occasion - be it a fancy dinner to impress your guests or a casual dine in to break some monotony. The buffet spread is huge and fresh. The options cater to people on diet plans on one side and on the other side to people who want to indulge. The location is in the heart of Zurich city and is easily accessible by public transport or with conveniently located car parks. Special mention to the freshly squeezed juices and an innovative dessert spread. Would recommend this place without a blink of an eye to anyone visiting Zurich. Hiltl has few other locations as well. We really loved the spread and hospitality of this one!!!! Last point - you pay by the weight. So damn convenient!!

Amazing buffet of plant based and vegetarian options. Truly everything is very good to excellent. Try as well the restaurant which has nice options. The vegetarian burgers with sweet patato fries are really great! Highly recommended, also to meat eaters.

Great to have so many vegan options for us. Such a great experience we went there three times on our 3 day visit to Zurich. A lovely server from Portugal was AMAZING. So warm and friendly and super helpful

Very interesting concept with buffet and fees based on weight. Quite a number of choices and food are well prepared! Have very informative on each dishes so you can manage your dietary such as spicy, nuts allergy.... Staffs are friendly, is just not all of them can speak English, but they still tried their best to serve you, salute! They have complimentary tap water, feel free to serve yourself! Oldest vegetarian restaurant (at Europe, as advertised), but indoor is modern with well decoration!

Pretty awesome place for folks who love to brunch on a sunday. It's pricey yeah, but there is so much different food which is prepared freshly. Nice and clean big buffet à discrétion. Staff is always there and helpful as well, nothing to complain about despite that it shouldn't be allowed to smoke while eating.

What a fantastic find in Zurich! Literally every vegetarian dish ever in one place and the buffet option means you can try as many or as little as you want. My family of 4 including 2 under 10a, ate everything up. Thoroughly recommend

Very nice veggy restaurant, high quality, famous for being the oldest vegetarian restaurant in the world. You can choose to order from the menu, or to pick up food from the buffet. In the second case you must weight your dish on a scale, and later on you will pay in proportion to its weight. Strongly suggested also to no vegetarians.

Prompt service and a unique experience for fondue lovers. I’m lactose intolerant but it was good to learn some of the fondue were lactose free. The experience of eating fondue itself was worth it. Service was a little slow as they were busy and typically not as attentive unless you willed for it but it’s not all that bad as you’ll usually have everything you need when you first order. Fondue was subtle and excellent. Great grate and texture. I also enjoyed their pork sausage in onion sauce dish. And surprisingly the onion soup was a standout. Perfectly balanced flavors making each sip heaven. Although I think service can slightly improve, I’m giving them 5 stars.

We we’re recommended to eat here by a tour guide. We we’re sat immediately. The food was delicious, but the service was mediocre. They really push that you should get one cheese fondue per person, but you can easily share it between two people. The fondue comes with bread, if you want any other sides that cost extra. We ordered a different entree to try besides cheese fondue. We had their stuffed chicken and it was quite flavorful. The prices are steep which one can expect for being in Zurich. For go their advice of having one cheese fondue per person, you can easily share one among two people. I’d recommended pairing one of their side dishes with it. You’ll get more bang for your buck :).

We were actually a little underwhelmed, it didn't quite live up to our expectations from a Hotel Adler restaurant. We shared a cheese fondue and sides, it was good but really nothing extraordinary and we had better ones in Zurich. Not really worth the money as it was rather pricey in comparison. Cute restaurant and good service though!

Absolutely loved this place. Would recommend reserving a table before you visit as there was a line/waiting for those who didn't reserve a table. Traditional Buckwheat Pasta, Traditional Swiss Macaroni and Cheese fondue is highly recommended for vegetarians. Tofu Curry with rice was okay. You can't be going to Swiss Chuchi and not have fondue. It was the best I've ever had. Would love to visit again

The traditional Swiss fondue was just amazing!! My husband and I shared one together. It was more than enough. We ordered sides like chicken and potatoes. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate fondue and it was splendid! One of the best food places to experience if you are in old town Zürich.

The food here was great, except it was very pricey for what I feel you may have gotten elsewhere for less. The decor is great and worth the visit, but the service was somewhat lacking. It felt very geared towards tourists and yet seemed to treat tourists as a bother. There were multiple tables inside when I asked for just a solo table, they told me twice they didn't have any. I ended up outside and the waiter was just okay. I hardly saw him, to be honest, but it was busy. The menu is a bit confusing. They have English written very small and hard to see, and when I ordered "Beef with Fondue" it indicated $18... but, I was also charged and later told that the "Fondue" part was an additional $36... at the end of the meal the bill also included a tip, which then I was asked to add an additional tip to the bill... I declined. Ifbthe service deserved a tip, I would decide that and leave it myself, thanks.

If you want to try authentic fondue in the middle of the old town, this is the place to go. It's in the middle of a touristy location but the price is not bad. We ordered half-half fondue with bread and potato. It was my first fondue experience and it was the best cheese dish I ever had!

Decided to go to this place because of several reviews and finding this place among the best having Fondue. Fondue was good (if you prefer without alcohol don’t forget to tell the waiter); they forgot one of the items ordered but apologized for forgetting and brought later; service was normal, not something exceptional. Inside atmosphere is pretty nice not considering specific smell of the cheese, but its something you get accustomed after several minutes.

Busy place, friendly staff with quick service. Sitting outside was fine as they have warm blankets and the onion soup was delicious and hot with a crispy puff pastry on top! Fondue was tasty as well.

The menu at Swiss Chuchi is a delightful journey through Swiss cuisine. The fondue was heavenly, with perfectly melted cheese and accompanied by fresh bread and veggies for dipping. Every bite was a taste of Swiss perfection. The staff at Swiss Chuchi were attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience. Their passion for Swiss cuisine was evident, and their recommendations were spot-on. The restaurant's rustic decor adds to the charm, making it an ideal setting for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends. The attention to detail and quality ingredients shine through in every dish, from the raclette to the Swiss sausages and Rösti. To top it off, the desserts were a sweet indulgence.

A fantastic casual trattoria-like experience on the outskirts of Zürich. This place is definitely worth a visit and going out of your way for. Can easily be reached with tram #7. The pasta, homemade tagliatelle with porcini, was delicious and the pizzas were also super tasty. No soggy mess, perfectly crispy and toppings evenly distributed for consistent tasty bites. The pizzas are available with a regular edge or a thin edge. I recommend the regular edge, as the rest of the pizza is a bit thinner!

I came here for dinner and made a reservation online. . The sign in process for contact tracing was a bit much - they asked for your name, birthdate, email address, phone number, and mailing address — for each single person at the table. The questionnaire ended with asking for the name of the personnel that helps you and that you may be asked to show the confirmation email to be served…. I find it a bit much to ask for this much personal detail. Birthdate? Really? . If you don’t fill out the form, you cannot order as the menu is connected. . The portions are huge. The neighboring table ordered calzones and they all had to take the rest home. The pizzas are also just as big. . The ambience is like a cafe, not so much restaurant style. But the food is still good. . They gave us a free piece of bruschetta as a starter. There is no beer on tap, unfortunately. . So regarding the pizza - I found the toppings to be a bit much. They put three mozzarella balls on my pizza including what felt like 250g of hard cheese. There wasn’t much tomato sauce base, so I found it a bit dry. . The tiramisu was huge, a bit too much cacao powder on top and it was a lot of liquid inside. . All in all, it was a pleasant experience and the food was good.

Little bit out of the centre of Zurich but oh so worth a visit! Really great pizza and prompt service and these guys are super friendly with fantastic sense of humour that will make you cry with laughter, thank you Giovanni & team! 🤍

After Corona and with some spring weather the place attracts again locals and non locals for pizza and pasta. The place is again on my short list for best pizza in town. Located between stettbach station and schwamendingen place

Amazing pizza - very authentic, fluffy but not too thick dough, fresh ingredients and the best tomato sauce. We also recommend the great canolli - freshly made, just like in Sicily. We ordered on a Friday evening, pizza came perfectly on time with additional free cantuccini.

I visited 2 nights ago and unfortunately the food fell flat for me. However, the service from Michel was fantastic and more than made up for the missteps from the kitchen. The bottle of Swiss red i ordered and the Aurora cocktail were great, as was the burrata (smooth, creamy) and the scampi bisque (warm, comforting, rich, deep flavours from the scampi - delicious), but my main dish was not great. I had ordered the veal filet mignon with goose liver, truffles and mashed potatoes and vegetables. The sauce was tasty, but the filet was overcooked and dry, and the vegetables were so overcooked they were like eating baby food - mushy. I actually wasn't going to say anything and was going to eat the food but I think Michel sensed that I didn't love what I was eating and also saw the meat looked overdone so he proactively asked me if the food was ok, to which I said yes, but I guess I didn't convince him because he asked me again after a couple more bites and I admitted the food was very overcooked. Michel insisted on taking the food back to the kitchen to speak with the chef. To my surprise, the kitchen sent my plate back to me with more sauce and informed me that the sauce would help with the dryness. Again, I didn't want to make a fuss so was prepared to just eat the food, but Michel was insistent that if it's not perfect he wasn't happy to serve it and I shouldn't eat it. Apparently it was a new chef in the kitchen, but Michel insisted that I try the veal with mushroom sauce (which is what I initially wanted to try). This came out really fast and was very good, though not amazing. I got the sense - based in how fast the dish came out and how haphazard it looked - that the kitchen wasn't happy to have food sent back. Still, by this point I was full from the starters and the wine. Luckily, my reason for visiting Kronenhalle wasn't just about food, it was about art, as well. Michel gave me a tour of the restaurant and showed me some of the key pieces which was fantastic. I loved hearing about the history of the restaurant. After my meal I went to the bar to finish my wine and had a couple Manhattans which were great. The manager of the bar brought me a catalogue of the artworks in Kronenhalle and I enjoyed sipping my drinks and looking at the art and cross referencing with the catalogue - which I bought as a souvenir. Overall, despite not having an amazing meal, I still had a great experience because of Michel and the level of care and pride he showed in upholding the standards which others have experienced. In the end, I had a really fun night.

Gorgeous dining room full of art from famous artists like Chagall, Picasso, Miro, and others. It’s like eating in a museum. My waiter was friendly, attentive and helpful, and shared a book about the art collection that was beautiful. Note that there is an unwritten dress code that is not on their website and the host who sat me seemed offended by my sneakers. The wine by the glass menu is lacking which was disappointing

Must order the steak and fries with the amazing sauce and the famous sliced veal in white sauce and rosti. Many paintings from famous artists around the restaurant. The bar is really cute too

Classic Swiss restaurant with an amazing art collection. Dining here is a bit pricey, but remember that literally the museum visit is also included in the price, and you have a unique opportunity to dine in next to Chagall, Miró, Bonnard, Picasso and other masterpieces. The service here is great, and waiters here found a nice intonation when speaking with their guests. Friendly, with a pinch of a good joke. The cuisine is also classic. Quite tasty, but nothing exceptional. Good choice for business lunch or dinner, but I wouldn’t recommend it for romantic or family occasion.

Kronenhalle is a restaurant with a lot of history and tradition. It is one of the last restaurants to still have a dress code for its guests. In addition, the restaurant has a very impressive art collection (art lovers should visit). The food was of high quality, the meat was from local butchers and was of fine quality. It is noticeable that the waiters are well trained and try to give the customers a good experience. During full dinner service it took the waiters a bit long to get to us, which is understandable. Despite the food being good it has to be said that there are other restaurants in the city that offer better quality of the individual dish for a lower price point. This fact and the high prices led to the reduction of one star.

Awesome place for authentic swiss food. It's pricey, like almost anything in Switzerland, but this place is worth it. Romantic occasion, or business meeting, or social catch up. Probably only not great for a family outing with small kids. Otherwise don't hesitate.

We were lucky enough to get a table due to a cancellation. Food was superb, and service from Sammy our waiter 2nd to none. Thoroughly recommend a visit for a special dinner in Zurich. The bar next door was also spectacular and equally great service.

A must in Zurich if you enjoy fine dining. Kronenhalle was in my partner’s bucket list for so long and it was a pleasure to be fortunate enough to come with. The food is memorable and the service very professional. One waiter is a character. The only drawback is the amount of loud American tourists that visit this place.

Dinner with Picasso. If you are visiting Zurich, are a fan of fine dining and it's a special occasion, this is a place not to be missed. Having dinner with some of the finest artists around the world is truly an experience. Note the dress code is fine dining so you won't be overdressed in a suit and tie. Reservations are booked out months in advance so plan accordingly.
