Weymouth

Weymouth, a seaside resort town on the south coast of England, is known for its sandy beaches, large marina and bustling nightlife. First settled during the 10th century, this town is known as the site of the Battle of Weymouth, a battle fought during the First English Civil War. Visitors can explore the Jurassic Coastal Path, a trail that stretches for almost 100 miles along the county's coastline. Nothe fort is another local attraction, built in the mid 1800’s as a Naval base and to protect the Harbour, which serves as a museum displaying the area’s military history.
