Lovely aquarium. $25 for ages 12+, $20 for ages 3-11. Lots of parking in front lot, but there is a $5 fee (pay at muni-meter). At this time, reservations are required. We were lucky enough to show up at around 12 pm on a Wednesday and get a 1 pm reservation…as we didn’t know and didn’t book in advance. Masks are NOT required throughout the aquarium. The beginning portion of the aquarium did get very crowded as it is a narrow pathway through a few exhibits, including the glass aquarium tunnel…when you consider tons of kids and parents taking a gazillion photos, this stretch of the aquarium can get chaotic at times…even with the timed reservations. After that area though…there is more than enough space to explore at your leisure. Lots of interesting and well-thought-out exhibits…be sure to look and read everything. There is so much to learn. The entire aquarium is well-kept and maintained. All staff were very nice and helpful. I highly recommend the aquarium to those of all ages.

Great aquarium!! Tickets were 29.95$/adult and 25.95$/youth. The shop was so cute- so many cute souvenirs, I got a glass turtle for 32$ which is good deal!! I had such a great time, wasn’t that packed on a Friday afternoon. So fun for the family! Great value for everything. Cute fishies!!

We visited on 7/12/23 and it seems like most of the exhibits were completed with the exception of 2. We loved the interactive nature of the aquarium; we could have spent an hour in imaginary play in the underwater submarine. We also loved touching the stingrays and the hermit crabs. The cafe was open while we were there, but we didn’t check it out other than to snap a photo. There is also a nursing room / pod for moms. Highly recommend this family friendly experience.

Great aquarium! Lots of unique fish to look at and unique experiences. Everybody we interacted with was kind and helpful. I’m glad they limit the number of people in the aquarium at any given time. To be honest, it’s still way too crowded in some tight areas with interesting attractions. My wife is somewhat claustrophobic and it did make her very uncomfortable a couple times. Wish they had more space, but can’t blame them for making the most of the space they have. Only critique I have would be the ticket line. They have several stations, but they seem to only have one person working the ticket counter when we visit.

Quite literally a very old building, but I really enjoyed the features. It could be far more, but I assume they lack funding. Regardless, you’re coming to see the fish 🐠 and whatnot, and they have plenty of it. Fun for kids without a doubt. Went with the family.

This place is great!! We always go to aquariums in as many states as possible and this is definitely in top 5. It is older so they are doing renovations but the exhibits are very good. They've worked hard at making it all encompassing. I wish I could buy the soundtrack!! It's so relaxing!! The gift shop has a large variety and is decently priced. Everyone is so friendly, insider tip....if you see someone with a messenger bag ask what's in it!! They're so knowledgeable and ready to share what they know!!

We had fun overall. The adventure park trail is beautiful. Not worth the 59 we paid for 2 adults 1 child. Cafe closed for renovation, no other food options. Very small, few attractions and the adventure park not included. They are making renovations to a large back building so once cafe and back building are done I'd say it's worth it but unless they reduce the price for the very reduced usage/viewing options during renovation I'd skip it.

We spent 2 hrs here. If you take your time, engage in the many interactive features it's worth the money and won't take 45 min like some reviews say. Very interactive, technology and sensory (touch whale baleen, what does shark skin feel like, touch a sting ray in the touch pond, play in a replica submarine with lots of buttons, knobs, switches & lights, and SO much more). We got to see a sea turtle and a moray eel get fed. Reserved the 9am time slot as I read it can get very crowded later in the day, was not crowded was able to make our way through exhibits with ease.

We purchased the Dolphin Cruise for our family of 5. We enjoyed taking the kids out on the intercostal waterway and the Atlantic ocean. It was really awesome to see the dolphins and to view Virgina Beach from the boat. I highly recommend this tour. The staff was engaging with everyone and there also is a nice little place inside to get drinks and snacks and cool off. There are bathrooms on this boat. Bring your camera so you can get some great photos and videos.

It was a good time. A lot of things are empty either due to covid or them getting ready to remodel. My husband and I took our son for his first visit and we all still enjoyed it. Wish the city would invest more money in the aquarium so they could expand and add more things.

Such a beautiful place our 7 month old had an amazing time. Highly recommend this experience. Loved that it wasn't crowded but did seem to be really busy when we were leaving so I recommend earlier times. Parking was also smooth too by being early (1130).

This was one of the best Aquariums we've visited on Vacation... Tons of sea life and local river types of fish... Several sharks and huge sea turtles.. my favorite sea animal.. some wildlife, snakes, frogs and such, and a huge alligator and Komodo dragon... We spent probably easily around 2 hrs there.. several interactive things for kids to do and see.. I highly recommend going... Also some outdoor things to see as well

I visited 2 yrs ago and enjoyed it. This time around, It just didn't seem as exciting. Like everything else, prices went up, and now, during their peak summer season, you have to buy a ticket on their website with your arrival time. They also added a $5. Parking fee. I understand things have to be updated and repaired, and they must close exhibits, but the aquarium just wasn't the same without the sharks this time around.

Excellent experience! Docents are very knowledgeable, entertaining even! Nice that they point out the genuine restored aircraft and the replicas. Display aircraft are easy to photograph and the main hangars are open to explore. The tour of the British control tower and the German hangar were very good. I would recommend anyone visiting the Hampton Roads area make it a point to visit.

Amazing! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! You can tell they love what they do and are very proud of this museum! One of the best and most interesting places I’ve been to! I went for my dad, who sadly can’t withstand the long trip it takes for us to get to VA Beach. He’s always wanted to go somewhere like this. So I decided to go in order to take photos and videos for him to see all the aircrafts and their history. He’s very excited to see them when I go back home! Thank you for helping me share this experience with him! Unfortunately, I didn’t know you could reserve a ride in one of their restored planes before going, but I guess that just gives me a reason to come back for another visit so I can take to skies! It was amazing to watch the plane take off!

This was a really nice place to visit while we were in Virginia Beach. They've got a huge collection of planes from WWI and WWII and also some other vehicles. I think it was well worth the cost of admission. The museum has helpful and knowledgeable volunteers that are happy to give you info if you'd like. There is a little gift shop that has some cool souvenirs.

Incredible collection of vintage and replica military airplanes in like-new condition. The tour guides and docents we met were all veterans. They were very friendly and knowledgeable about the collection. Among the many highlights are an authentic WW II German aircraft hangar and a British control tower. Both were dismantled in Europe, then reconstructed and restored here to look just as they had during the war. This place is a treasure of military aeronautical history. I highly recommend it!

One of the best displays of WWI and II aircraft I’ve ever seen. Tour guides were very knowledgeable and understood what drove the development of each aircraft. Expected to do a quick 1+ hour tour and stayed for almost 4 hours. The detail of the restorations are unmatched. Well worth the visit.

The museum is very well run and the tour guides are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Our guide, Warren, an Army veteran, was absolutely wonderful. You could tell how much he loved his job. Many of the planes are still flyable. Overall, it was extremely informative and well worth the cost of admission. If you do go, make sure to leave time to do the guided tour to the other areas (it's free with admission).

A nice museum with very helpful and knowledgeable staff and volunteers. We got to see the museum plus 4 hangars: international, navy, world war I, and German world war II. The signage could be a little clearer but volunteers were eager to answer any questions. We also saw some planes take off. If you book ahead of time, you can take a ride in a plane for about $200 depending on the plane and length of time. It's hot in the summer so bring some water and a fan!

This place was hidden from the center city of Virginia Beach. Maybe 20 to 25 minutes trip but the tour was nice. There was also a tour guide at the exhibits explaining to us all the tools and equipment used during the war. We may have not have seen the rest to the historic planes due to temperature in the building but still it was worth the trip.

What a collection! Appreciated the volunteers and the stories! The care of restoring these pieces of history was outstanding. Photos on the wall in the Army room showed airplanes in original condition. We were treated to a tour of the British Air Tower. That guide let the young boys wind up the air raid vs gas raid alarms. First time I ever heard either in person thankfully & hopefully the last! Well worth the $12 donation for military visitors

Volunteers made this place worth it! Ladies at the register weren't all that friendly but got past that once the volunteers told us many many stories and answered all of our questions. My 9 yr old son really enjoyed this place. I even quizzed the kids on the trip off this museum. The hanger tour is a must also!!

Great collection of aircraft from all time frames. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. You're able to get up close and actually look at the aircraft, unlike most museums. Absolutely love coming here. Unfortunately, a large section of their collection is locked away down the road on campus. You are given a "guided" tour, which a tour guide kinda rushes you through 3 additional areas (that i could spend a lot of time by myself in). The last time I was here in 2016, these areas didn't have enough staff to take you through the day we went back then, but I'm glad we did get to see all of it this trip.

Love this place I recommend if you have time to go. If you are into military aviation then this is the place for you. They have a total of 5 buildings that you can see all different type of military aircraft’s that where used in war. The volunteers were all very nice and helpful with any questions me or my family had. I’m from New Jersey so I don’t get time to explore history like this very often. If you get an opportunity to go I would definitely recommend you to go. They also displayed new mowers that were robots. That was pretty interesting to witness but also cool. The parking was spacious on both ends of the property. Sometimes during the year you can come and experience a flight on one of the old aircraft. They also had a gift shop with lots of accessories you could buy for a loved one of for a souvenir. In the main building they have to floors. One being the main floor which holds the aircraft’s and the gift shop with a little of the vehicles they used.The second held all of the old uniforms they used and fought in. This place is a once in a lifetime experience and I have a lot of memories to bring home to my family.

Such a beautiful State Park. I was nervous with how popular it seems, how mellow everybody was. I came in off days, and didn't experience huge crowds. The beach was gorgeous, especially the morning I went extra early for sunrise! I stayed in a cabin.. they are kind of rustic but fully stocked kitchen and very clean cabin throughout. My kids and I loved our stay. 15 minutes from Virginia Beach but out in this cabin we felt tucked away. I will definitely book out here again!

Very good experience here. Most of the sites are big with a lot of space, fantastic cypress trees for hammocks! Store is great and the little food shop is pretty solid. Very nice beach with several access points. Busy place so reserve early. The bathroom on the west side of camp is meh, the new bathrooms and showers on the east end are very nice! The staff are knowledgeable and we'd love to come back.

Beautiful! Great trails! Board walk trails. They even had cute brochures for kids that had a find and seek adventure for the trails! Great place to walk dogs as well. It did cost 5$ to park, but it was for the whole day.

First Landing State Park was formerly called Seashore State Park. First Landing State Park is located on Shore Drive. Admission to the park is $7 per vehicle on weekdays and $10 on the weekends. The right side of Shore Drive is the beach access. The left side of Shore Drive has 20 miles walking, biking, and hiking trails. This is another one of Virginia Beach amazing parks. Many visitors fish, swim, camp, kayak, and boat at Fist Landing State Park. The employees are really friendly. The visitors information center is opened daily from 9 a.m - 5 p.m. The gift shop ,restrooms, and cafe is behind the visitors center. This is an amazing park 🏕️🚴🏻🏖️🏊🏼‍♀️🚣🏼‍♂️

Beautiful park with flat, easily walkable trails. A little confusing to get to. The Visitors Center has a very short boardwalk to the ocean, but is for campers mostly. Across the street is another entrance that leads to the Trail Center and the trails. We really enjoyed the cypress swamp - black water and all those knees poking up were a new look for us. Tons of dogs and few illegal bicyclist roaming around, so be ready to share the trails.

One of my favorite beaches/parks in the area. In the summer it's one of the only beaches in the area where we can bring our dog (who loves to swim!). The park has wonderful trails, and most of them are shaded. There are beaches on the Chesapeake Bay side and on the Broad Bay side, both are great. The campsites are spacious with lots of old oak trees all around. There are showers, bathrooms, a snack bar and gift shop. Be aware you do have to pay to park if you aren't planning on staying to camp. Great place to visit any time of the year.

Omg! This place is one of a kind and so beautiful! I cannot wait to do some additional exploring! There is so much to do. So much to explore. They have cabins, camping and yurts. You can buy firewood and ice at the information center. They have a store there as well as gift shop area. Sunglasses! Soda machines and a little restaurant. They have water fountains and one that looks like shower off type area to clean off sand. The beaches are just beautiful. No lifeguard on duty where I went so I don’t think they are there however the do have park police and rangers. My fiancé saved two children’s lives so please please please be very mindful of yourself and your children. When the tide comes in it can come in swiftly and catch you off guard and take you out. When the tide is out you can walk out pretty far before you even reach waist level. Make sure you know how to get out of a rip tide and under currants. They actual have information in the visitor center

First landing is like my home away from home. Every year we come to camp and enjoy the beautiful Chesapeake bay area. Clean restrooms and showers, wash sinks, laundromat, camping supply store, spacious campgrounds and miles of beautiful nature trails make camping a zen like experience. The ocean is about a ten minute walk and the bay is alive with dolphins, fish, crabs and waterfowl. This park is well-kept and definitely worth the visit!

Neat place! I was surprised to see Spanish moss in Virginia. The trails through maritime forest, swamps, and marshes are so unique and something that I associated with the deep south instead of Virginia. The beach is nice, especially since it's not crowded and it is only a short walk from the parking lot.

My favorite place at the beach and something that makes Virginia Beach truly unique among resort cities. I run or hike here almost every day of the year. On hot summer days, it’s always 3-7 degrees cooler on the trails. Miles upon miles of trails through beautiful forests and wetlands. Seeing the ecology and untouched natural beauty of the area is amazing…Thick groves of ferns amongst the cypress, hidden beaches along the trails, boardwalks across the wetlands… the trails are kept impeccably and there’s a great variety. Kayaks, SUP, and boat rentals along the “Narrows” section, at the 64th St entrance. Truly one of Virginia Beach’s biggest assets.

Absolutely beautiful, very clean park with spacious campsites. Multiple entries (boardwalk paths) to the beach. Store stocked many necessary camping items and has a snack bar. Outdoor showers and restrooms are clean. Only criticism is they should have changing rooms for the day visitors.

Marvellous! Miles of wonderful walking trails (and a couple of cycle trails) through the forest and along the edge of the creeks. Tiny beaches, inland pools and swampy areas definitely add interest. It has a very wild feel to it. Great views. The trail centre is nice too and all staff friendly. Some activities are on offer.

Had a great experience with our tour at Tarnished Truth! Our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. I ended up taking home MOST of what I tried there. I am a history buff as well as a whiskey fan so this scratched both itches. I definitely want to go back to enjoy a meal at the Hunt Room someday. Worth the trip!

Entertaining and informative distillery tour! The guide was funny and had great pacing. Enjoyed the tasting portion too, where the guide had helpful answers to all the questions from the group. The distillery is inside a super swanky hotel so that's a cool experience in itself. Because the Hunt Room restaurant was closed, we got to peek inside and learn about the history there, too.

Great tour that was very informative, Rachel was our guide and she was amazing. Plus the tasting was good and I am not really a bourbon drinker. Well worth checking out for something different.

The Tarnished Truth Distillery was a wonderful experience. It starts off a little cramped as everyone meets in their gift shop, but begins to widen up a bit as you begin the tour through the distillery. It's a fairly short tour as the distillery is smaller, but the tasting event of the tour is wonderful. It was a pleasure to be able to try their products, and their tasting room was beautiful. The Old Cavalier Bourbon Cream is an absolute treat and I'm excited to purchase this for my next bottle of Tarnished Truth product. My tour gifted a Tarnished Truth branded Glencairn Glass. Ari, our tour guide, was phenomenal and well knowledgeable about the Cavalier and Distillery. All around great way to spend $20 and an hour of your day.

Such a very cool thing to do while at Virginia Beach, excellent guided tour and tasting of the distillery at the beautiful Cavalier Hotel.

Nice small park that is very active during the summertime, not so much now as tourist season has dwindled. They have some Christmas decor out now and there are some nice restaurants nearby. Also the Neptune statue is close by!

The statue of King Neptune is truly a beautiful work of art. The detail is amazing. It's a great place to take pictures. I'm not sure why it's called a park, as it is right on the boardwalk, beach side. There is a small grassy area with a very nice stage across the boardwalk street side from it, so maybe that's the park portion of it.

Visiting Virginia Beach! I think this is one of the best attractions i’ve seen! It’s really amazing and such a huge statue! They do have a board walk, which is great for a nice stroll along the beach. Will definitely be back to relax with a good book.

Just visited Virginia Beach for the first time earlier this week, and in all honesty I wasn't sure what to expect about the area. However I was very impressed by what I saw when I was there, and especially in Neptune's Park. I love the warm brown color of the sand here at the beach, and it was very clean and well maintained! I hardly saw any shells, but that could be because we came on a high tide day. I wanted to put my feet in the water but it was way too cold. For reference it was 50° with strong winds on the day I was there. The boardwalk is very spacious and expansive, and even on an off-season day there were quite a few people jogging or taking a leisurely stroll. I was super excited to see the Neptune statue, which I had first heard about almost 2 years ago. Let me tell you, this is DEFINITELY worth visiting! You see so many pictures of it online (including mine), but the pictures don't do justice to the magnificence and sheer beauty of it. Do yourself a favor and check it out at least once in your life! Trust me, you won't regret it. 😁

Awesome views of the water and beaches from the boardwalk. The statue is well maintained and the area is clean with no litter or garbage around. The hotel we stayed at was right by the statue and it was definitely a hot attraction. The water was a but chilly but it was worth the trip!

It a nice, family friendly, pretty safe cool little beach. The Big Neptune figure statue is cute 😍 Very hard to find parking.

Neptune’s Park is located on 31st Street on Atlantic Avenue beside Catch 31. King Neptune amazing extraordinary huge bronze statue over looks the boardwalk and Neptune’s Park. King Neptune statue was designed by Paul Dipasquale. King Neptune state was built in 2005. King Neptune statue is very popular to tourists. Neptune Park is home of FREE Summer Concert Series. Neptune’s Park is located near the parking garage, hotels, restaurants, shops, and our amazing beautiful beach. Neptune’s Park and King Neptune is a must see! It actually feels like King Neptune is protecting the oceanfront. king Neptune statue was funded by private monies. On September 30, 2005 the statue was dedicated to the City of Virginia Beach. Many stop by and take photos with King Neptune. This is a cool place❣️🏖️

Beautiful spot to spend your day at. We had a great time here during our vacation. The weather wasn’t as great as we hoped but it was all good. This is a great place for day picnics and just hanging around to refresh. There is also a playground nearby within few steps if you plan on bringing your kids.

**Dinner Great! **Breakfast Nah...*** Came for dinner and it was super packed. We were informed that while waiting for our table if the bar area becomes free we could just go sit there. This turned into a musical chair game trying to secure a free spot with other guests. But after about 20 minutes we were seated. Waiter was awesome, dinner was very good! Fresh seasoned well, hot delicious. The drinks were OMG! We enjoyed ourselves so much we figured we come for breakfast. Nope nope nope! The staff was friendly but the food was very bland I had to double check to see if this was the same place from the night before. We ordered basic stuff too! The most upsetting part of our breakfast was the pancakes. The pancakes broke apart like sand, indicating it was missing a binder EGGS!!! The taste wasn't great either. My guess is that there must be a different kitchen crew for breakfast and dinner because sheesh what a difference.

Okay smelled good from the outside. Looked good on the inside. I have plus and minuses. Our wait person was okay. I feel she was not table aware 😕. We had to ask for straws. We had to ask for a utensil setting. Steak was ordered, no steak knife. Dessert was ordered and took over 20 minutes..no kidding. Strawberry shortcake which was a joke. For the price of our dinner 🍽 they use paper towel napkins instead of cloth. Come on. Pluses- Red snapper was excellent. Steak was great. We ordered mixed cocktails and they were well received ☺️ 👍. The potatoes 🥔 were awesome and perfect. Truffle mac&cheese, wild rice. The brocolli had no seasoning. They have table runners who bring your food, not the wait person. That was nice. Restrooms. Good 👍

I’ll begin by stating that the food was incredibly flavorful—but the service was a bit shoddy, in my opinion. We witnessed other customers next to us receiving attentive responses from our server. So the capability was clearly there. I can only assume it was because that was a larger party. 🤷‍♀️ Yet, with even the most basic situation where I mentioned that we hadn’t been there before (an attempt to break the uncomfortable atmospheric tensions with our server) and requesting recommendations on the menu choices, our server’s response was cold (and bordered on rude) when she pointed to the menus, stating that the available choices are on the menu and we simply need to pick something and order it. 😒 **but moving along** The restaurant was HOT inside when we went there. Even the waitress approached our table with a literal HAND FAN blowing at her face, and continued to hold it in place as she took our drink order. 😳😐😒 I asked to be moved due to the effect it was having on me. She instead stated bluntly that it was what it was, and it would be hot anywhere else in there. I asked to be seated outside, she said that area was closed to customers. [Immediately outside my window were multiple tables with customers also dining at this facility, and with enough seating available for my party of two. 🤔 I shall digress.] Regardless, what we did select… although small portions (by Texas standards), the presentation and flavors were definitely on point! 🤤 I would say the prices were a tad too high for the food portions / quality of service, but still fair. We’d definitely go back for the quality, flavor and freshness of the food— 😅 although with much lower expectations regarding service.

This is a very good bar/restaurant. Have been here many times and once found Terry O'Quinn (Locke from Lost) at the bar and had a drink with him here. It's right out front of the King Neptune statue and the little Amphitheater is next to it as well. Good size place with a large outside bar and dining area. Cool white rockers out back, fire pits with seating around its swanky. The inside is very nice as well. Most food is pretty good, but a little overpriced, even for the Chicness, think they are overpriced on the overpriced at least vs the other bars/restaurants in the area. But going in knowing that, you get good service and good food. Didn't like that their oyster sampler, you have to pick 3 of the same oyster. They offered 6 different and if I ordered them all it would have been $48 for 18 Oysters, other Oyster places I've been you can mix and match. This last time I got 2 orders and they were delicious. If your looking to impress and want a cool place to hang and people watch..great place!

The food was AMAZING. Alanna was our server and she was fantastic. We had the hummus app, crab cakes, and crab stuffed flounder. My favorite part was the greens in the flounder. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it was VERY warm inside. My husband was sweating and uncomfortable but the food and service couldn't be beat.

Wanted to try something new for our anniversary dinner and this place did not disappoint! Its right on the ocean and the service was quick for it to be so busy. The spinach and artichoke dip with pita was amazing. The crusted parmesan on top was everything I didn't know I needed. I highly recommend the grilled tuna. I could've done without the onions on top. They felt like more of a distraction but the tuna and other topings were a perfect match. The ocean views with dinner was the perfect atmosphere for a great meal. Can't wait to come back again soon!

Food was delicious! Tuna, whole fish, soup, octopus… it’s a love ! You need to try it ! Service very good! We get a great waiter he was really nice! Only thing the lights was bugging and it was giving kinda disco atmosphere, not what we was looking for. And the kitchen take this time it was a little bit long.but owerall really loved

Fish taco wasnot satisfied, crab cake sandwich was okay. Seem only this restaurant has great location. Stuff was nice and smiling. There was mistake in our order. Meals was okay.

My husband I are were attending a festival down on 31st street and went here for lunch. I had steamed little neck clams, and a half pound of steamed shrimp. The food was amazing and we had an even better view of the ocean sitting outside. We actually left and came back later and ate there again for dinner. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with green beans and my husband had the burger. Calamari for an APP. We will be back!

Absolutely loved the place! I’ve been here awhile ago, so this was my second time coming- we loved it! Food was great, and our server was super nice and friendly!! The only thing is that when you sit outside - summer time the live music is too loud, and there was a rock band singing, which doesn’t really help to make it a romantic night haha 😂

I would skip this restaurant if you're in town and looking for some fresh seafood, there are better places for a foodie, this restaurant is definitely set up as a tourist attraction. Our total bill was 93.00 for two people. $33 alone for the fried seafood platter which we shared. We ordered a side Caesar salad, she crab soup and the fried seafood platter. Additionally we both ordered a strawberry margarita. First, let me start by saying do not waste your money on the drinks. They are $11 each for some watered down tequila with simple syrup. All of the drinks came from the bar looked the same color and were absolutely not worth the price tag. The she crab soup was the best item I had here. Caesar salad was good, but nothing special. The fried seafood platter had a crab cake (1) , white fish (1 piece), scallops (2), and shrimp (3) with fries and slaw. The taste was something you could get at a much cheaper restaurant. Skip this restaurant for something cheaper, it's not worth the price tag.

Come for the Orange Crushes and stay for their Waterman's Salad with salmon (pro tip: sub the cheese for goat cheese ... if that's your jam). So good! Get a spot on the patio if you can so enjoy the boardwalk right outside and ocean breeze. Wait staff has always been professional but never super friendly every time I've been, but it's not bothersome... everything comes out correct and timely. A great summertime (or anytime) hangout.

We made a reservation ahead of time, this place gets very busy. We sat near the window which was so enjoyable. We saw this sweet bulldog outside! Our food was delicious. They even let me switch my side to mashed potatoes. The service here was so quick. We had our drinks and appetizer in no time. I forgot to take a photo, but the Buffalo tuna bites are a delicious starter.

Amazing vibe and delicious food. The hummus was so good that we ended up ordering one more. I am gonna visit this place again when ever I come back to Virginia Beach. 10/10

Enjoyed the atmosphere! Sat at the patio and wasn't too cold or hot so had an excellent view of the beach and sunseting sky. Kenny was an awesome server and had great recommendations. The weekly salmon special was the best salmon I've had along with the lobster mash. Wife enjoyed her pasta with the slight kick it had. Daughter enjoyed the kids menu and enjoyed the beach view. Will come back and recommend to friends and family!

We went for dinner and loved the patio seating! Food was delicious and didn’t disappoint. We got 1/2 lb of peel and eat shrimp for an appetizer, my husband got the fried crab cakes and I got the crab imperial. The Endless Summer Crush had just the right blend of ingredients. It’s a little pricey, the wait was 45 minutes-1 hour on a Saturday evening, but well worth it! Highly recommend if visiting VA Beach.

I have been here twice, and both times were fantastic experiences. A year ago, I had an amazing burger and their signature Orange Crush during a happy hour special, and boy was I one very happy person after a 2.5 shot drink. My friend loved their jumbo lump crab soup. This time, we had brunch. I loved the Chicken Slider Biscuits and their sausage gravy. We were a little sad they ran out of the accompanying Sticky buns. But it was overall just as amazing as I remember. I love sitting next to the beach and seeing everyone walk the strip outside or driving the group peddle bikes. It's just so cozy and brings an amazing beachfront atmosphere to your table. It is loud and busy, but the staff are amazing. If you are looking for beachfront vibes and amazing seafood or comfort foods, this place is worth the trip to the beach. If you have the chance, I highly recommend treating yourself to eating here. There is valet parking, but we paid to park in an hourly lot within 5 minutes of walking from the restaurant. It was right across the street.

First time here and it was a blast. Food was delicious and quick and the waitress was very caring and tended to our needs. It was busy on Saturday night and it took about 15-20 minutes to get seated but it was well worth it. I got the Wellerman’s Pasta and the crabby fries and it was a lot of food. My friends got burgers and fish tacos and they enjoyed them as well. I can’t wait to come here again and recommended it to friends

The atmosphere was very nice!! The food was delicious! We did have a little issue with seating but it was resolved. The original orange crush was so refreshing! Get two!!

Off-season visit. Valet not necessary, ample public parking just south of restaurant. Seated quickly, nice atmosphere. Food was good; drinks were good. Nothing spectacular. We would have tried a couple of the appetizers or dessert but the prices were pretty high. We would likely shop around next time visiting. 4 of us (1 of which was a kids meal) was almost $200 including 25%.

We ordered the She Crab soup and Crabby Fries as appetizers and then the Waterman’s Pasta and Burger as well as the Lobster Tail. The food was absolutely delicious, the burger was made perfectly to order (medium) and the pasta was a great portion size as well! We loved our server and she was attentive and she knew what she was doing!

The food was truly the best that we had anywhere in the area. Pictured is the coconut shrimp wrap and the watermelon salad. The view was spectacular. The service, and I wish I could remember the name of our server, far exceeded my expectations. And I highly recommend the margarita on a hot day! It's made with freshly squeezed lime and orange juice!

The food was very good and the location could not be better. Be aware you are paying a premium for the crazy location. The buffalo tuna bites were so interesting and delicious. The food was made and delivered quickly and the waiter did a good job. The only issue is that bar service is very slow. We would have purchased more drinks if they didn't take so long to be delivered. Worth the wait tho; they were delicious!

Mahi’s serves insanely delicious food. We had all intentions of trying all sorts of different restaurants during our stay but ended up eating here three different times. We went back for breakfast two mornings in a row and ordered the same exact thing twice because it was incredible, if that tells you anything! We had the Crab Cake Benedict’s and the Spiced Rum French Toast which are both pictured. Their twist on the She Crab soup is out of this world, best I’ve ever had. Their Key Lime pie is made fresh there and crazy good (pictured as well). It’s a pretty restaurant, indoor and outdoor seating, the outdoor seating is directly on the boardwalk with a very beautiful view of the ocean (also pictured from our table). The bar is great and the nights we stayed, there was live music you could enjoy from their outdoor seating. We had a wonderful experience with the hotel as well. We had the most perfect view of the ocean from our room and the staff in both Mahi’s and the Double Tree by Hilton were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were so very impressed and know for certain we will be staying at the DoubleTree for our next visit and most definitely eating at Mahi’s for our now favorite dishes!

Absolutely love this place! The Florida Orange roll is definitely among top 10 sushi rolls I’ve ever had. Same goes for the calamari. All food was exceptionally delicious. Cocktails were wonderful, and the option to add 50mg of CBD was refreshing and perfect way to relax while sitting with a beautiful boardwalk view Customer service was above and beyond helpful! We asked for recommendations and the guy serving us clearly knew the menu like the back of his hand- very good insider into all of the available options. Will be here next time I’m in the area, that’s for sure👍👍👍👍👍

The food was very yummy, beautiful and worth it. Love the new atmosphere however the customer service at the hostess stand was not very good. The waitress was nice.

The food here was great! Really enjoyed everything and the drinks were awesome. We really liked the Key Lime Pie crush and the Blood Orange one. Service was awesome!! She crab soup was fantastic. Crab dip was yummy. Sushi was beautiful and tasty. Very glad we decided to go there, mostly because it didn't have live music going and we wanted something a little more toned down from the rest of the night life. Note, the menu on here isn't updated with the one in the restaurant.

Dinner last night was at Mahi’s was awesome. Tasty food and impeccable service make it a VA beach standout! The bar was heaving as well and judging by the guava margarita I had I’d rate their bartenders as well.

My Husband and I had a wonderful dinner and Tony, our server was very nice with a excellent service. Also the lady at the front entrance was very nice welcoming you. Even the valet guy. Nothing but good customer service.

2 of us ate here 3 times in 4 days.... and got something different every time! 10 out of 10!! Fantastic drinks! Amazing food and Awsome staff. Will be back.

Had a delicious dinner here tonight! The menu has a wide range of options so most people will find something they enjoy. I ordered the lobster grilled cheese sandwich with truffle fries and key lime pie. It was such a good comfort food choice! There was plenty of lobster and the sandwich was grilled to perfection. My guest ordered the crabcake sandwich and it was also good. Plenty of real crab with little fillers. The atmosphere has a casual, upscale feel. There is indoor and outdoor seating and service was prompt and attentive. Valet parking is available and they were also efficient and courteous. Would definitely return!!

We come to Virginia Beach every year and we eat here every year! The potstickers were amazing, all the sushi is so good! We got a volcano roll, Virginia Beach roll, and some Philly rolls and they were all so good! We will be back again next year! Great service and atmosphere!

Loved this place. Little on the pricey side but the food portions are huge plus we were on vacation so money is secondary to having a great time. Sitting outside with the beach view was awesome. We visited twice while on vacation and everyone loved their food. We definitely plan on visiting again and you should also. You won't be disappointed.

This was a great place to eat!! We got a seat right away and I would have given 5 stars but a lot of time was spent shooting away flies and covering my food before flies got on it!😥The food was fantastic though!!! I had the 🦀 cakes (pretty expensive $30), mac and cheese baked in a frying pan, and sweet collard greens and my daughter had the turkey burger 🍔 that she said was so good! We had pickle fries that were really good and fried green tomatoes that were good but could have been fried a little more. The drinks were good, but not very strong ; I had a bahama mama and my daughter had a blueberry crush that was good. We'll definitely be back when the crab prices go down because those were the best ones I have had!!!! Our server was very nice and attentive as well!😊

Visiting Virginia Beach for the day, we were looking for a place to have lunch and stumbled upon this restaurant based on good reviews and food choices. We were promptly seated outside, which was a nice and relaxing atmosphere. We ordered some drinks and my Creamsicle crush was on point. My wife really liked her drink as well. I ordered a cheeseburger and it was delicious. The loaded cheese and bacon fries were phenomenal! Our waitress was quite tentative, friendly and approachable. If I'm ever in VB, I'll come back to this establishment.

This was a great find and recommended if you are local to the beach. They have the best burger in town and beer sampler to choose from. We will be back and take our family and friends with us.

If you are in Virginia Beach and want to enjoy good food and a great view of the ocean with nice outdoor sitting, cools drinks and good service, this is the place. Great view of the beach and ocean. Gets hot in the sun, you will have some partial shade. Friendly and attentive host and wait staff providing good services. I had the Mahi Sandwich and my honey had the Cobb Salad. Both are fresh and delicious indeed. Make your vacation meal awesome here.

The food was AMAZING! The service was great Too. The power went out while we were there due to a storm, but our server was awesome, and kept us Informed. I ordered the mahi sandwich which was fantastic and my husband ordered the fried chicken sandwich which he said was good! The cheese fries were the star of our meal! So so so good! We will be back for sure!

Fantastic food even though the baked Mac & cheese is not as good as it used to be. We've been here many times over the years and have always loved the food. Crab cake dinner is a favorite, I love the fries as well as the Mac and cheese

Nice beach front bar and grill. Good beer selection. Open kitchen is nice if you like to see your food made. Burgers are good. The meat grind and cook are what make it good. Only issue is due to the patio walls being open, flies were kind of an issue. But food, service, and live entertainment made up for it.

The restaurant is very big and well decorated. The staffs were helpful and friendly, no “very” here. There were huge food selections from appetizers to a variety of seafood to desserts. The snow crab legs was one of the highlights of the restaurant. They were at a fairly large size, some tasted sweet. The other dishes were OK. Compared to other buffet restaurants, the food quality here was better. But buffet is buffet, it is not as good as a regular seafood restaurant that you order your food and eat. Including the tax and tip, it is about $60-$70 per person. I think I may have a much better meal in a regular restaurant.

Would not consider this fresh seafood. Unless you are going for unlimited crab legs do not waste your money on the buffet. The temperature of the food was not adequate and the salmon, Maui, fried fish and fried shrimp all tasted like frozen then re-cooked product. It was very slow business wise due to tropical storm so maybe the old taste had to do with not enough customers there to keep the food consumed in a timely manner.

I love Captain George’s for the variety of Seafood items and dishes you can try. They do a good job with keeping the dishes filled. They have a sanitizing station and gloves at the start of the line, however it’s not enforced and some people walk past it and get in line. As long as you care for yourself and sanitize before eating you should be good. Bar area is clean and the servers keep your drinks filled and check on you often. Disappointed that they don’t have the ice cream machine as I have always loved ending my meal at with a twisted cone when going to the other locations. This location also has a sports bar area if you want seafood and watch the game.

Awesome experience! Not just a restaurant, definitely an experience. The buffet is expensive, but totally worth it if you come hungry. The prepared foods are good but still buffet quality. The real star of the show is the all-you-can-eat Alaskan snow crab legs, and they do not disappoint. Delicious! The service was great. Highly recommend if you're looking for seafood while visiting the VA beach area.

$50 all you can eat! I will say the food came out super fresh, constantly being circulated. Desserts were fire, crab legs were great, all kinds of options and even some for those who don't like seafood. I enjoyed the buffet a lot! Atmosphere is crazy, very big and cool. Service was good too.

For atmosphere, I mean, it is a buffet after all. However, it is, in our opinion, one of the best buffets we have ever been to. We come here for Thanksgiving and in the summer. The food has always been refilled quickly and hot. If it wasn’t hot, we asked them to bring us fresh [whatever it was] and they made it for us and served it. The drinks have always been a little heavy handed which is great if you enjoy alcohol! We usually don’t eat the other items in the buffet, we are seafood lovers. Crab legs, mussels, clams, crab legs, CAPTAINS BUTTER, fried scallops in Captains butter blend, and hush puppies. At Thanksgiving, Tim had the oysters and said they were delicious and plump. This place is totally worth the money IF you eat seafood. Did I mention their crab legs and Captains butter blend???!!! Oh, and their custom stained glass window is gorgeous!!

What can I said that’s already been spoken by thousands of great reviews? If prime rib and steaks is on the menu, I would give 5* until they ran out of crabs and that is something they rarely do. Wife and I enjoyed our Virginia beach vacation and Captain George Seafood was on our list of dining. Overall, great selections of delicious food and the service staffs were top notch, highly recommended! For those too busy to look up prices on their website, it is $46 per person and let me tell ya, money well spent!

At $50 pp, the food and atmosphere better be good. It was! Selection was amazing. From all the salads to the entrées and the rounded dessert items, there's plenty to eat for the seafood lover as well as the non-seafood lover. But make no mistake, the draw is the king crab legs. I love the crab meat but it takes too long to dig it out, put it in butter and eat enough of it to fill you up. I helped my daughter crack some open while I tried all the other options! Dress is casual. A great part of the meal was the service and the beautiful ceilings and decor. We would only go there once during our vacation (lots of food) but we will go back again to make it tradition. Relax, sit back, check out all the options before grabbing a plate, and just relax.

To survive a $50 per person all you can eat buffet, one must come prepared and that’s what we did. We spent the day at the beach working up an appetite and Captain George’s did not disappoint. We definitely got our full of crab legs, everything was fresh and hot. Paul, our server, was timely and informative. I’ve been visiting Captain George’s since I was a kid but never this location. Defining would recommend and your come back again. FYI children’s buffet price is 24.99 and they do have a menu with other options if you are not interested in seafood or the buffet

Amanda R, our waitress on today, is amazing!! Her smile, she answered our questions in a pleasant and professional manner. She gave my niece everything she asked for. She was quick at clearing our plate waste basket. The one that is placed on the table for easy disposal. The atmosphere was perfect, the music, the lighting, the decorations all came together. I, all 5 of us, will definitely come back again. This place is to die for!!! I am 😊 happy.
