Totally worth visiting it's free to enter. We visited in the evening and it was almost empty likely because tour groups go in the morning. The amazing detail in these buildings is always amazing and something worth experiencing. You can enjoy it inside and out.

Beautiful church, most of the main parts are free to visit so I can't think of a reason to not visit. There are some parts of the church which you need to pay to enter, I paid for the catacombs tour and recommend that. I also paid to go up the north tower, you get good views of Vienna and a good look at the amazing tiled roof, however I am not sure it is worth the asking price of EUR 6 - take a look at the photos below and decide for yourself whether you want to pay to go up. You can only buy tickets in person at the church, you cannot buy them online in advance, also they only accept cash, no cards.

Be fit if you're going up the south tower worth it for the view. North tower little lift ride to the top great to see the tiled roof up close. The catacombs tour was good. I got out of the afternoon heat for half an hour, which is very informative. Highly recommended to buy an all-inclusive ticket

St. Stephen's Cathedral is an architectural masterpiece that left me in awe. This was an incredibly interesting and beautiful place to visit. There are several options for tickets, we chose the € 20 all inclusive per person one. This allows a visit to the Cathedral itself plus both the North and South towers. One has an elevator and the other over 300 steps.Even though we could access both, we went with the elevator. The view was fantastic, both of the city and the rest of the Cathedral. Then we had a guided tour of the crypt, absolutely brilliant and a great tour guide. The tour was in German and English and highly worth taking. I would highly recommend this tour and if at all possible, try to be there for 10 am at least before the crowd.This part of Vienna is incredibly busy with tourists.. Also tickets are not available online and must be purchased in person in the Cathedral. This is cash only, as is the gift shop.

I recommend you to take all in one ticket. You can buy it inside, go to the left and you will see the entry to the South Tower. Buy a ticket and go to the North tower. To get there, go out and walk around the church to the left side. You will see the entry to the North tower. It was not easy to get to the top, pretty narrow staircase corridor and long way up. The reason why you should go to this tower first because it closes earlier (see photo). You can observe night city from the South tower only.

I had the opportunity to go inside and check out this incredibly historic cathedral located in the city centre of Vienna. Both the inside and outside of the cathedral are stunning and picturesque. It is free to enter the church but there is also certain areas of the church that you need too pay to enter. I definitely could have spent more time in here and would definitely do it again when in Vienna and definitely recommend stepping inside if you haven’t at least once for a few minutes. At the time we we’re here it was mid November and there was a large Christmas market set up in the city center and we were wondering around on the evening when the area was most lively. Definitely wish to come back in the future.

Amazing cathedral! This cathedral is one of the highlights of the city. The exterior is very beautiful (especially the Eagle on the roof) and interior is also really impressive. Going inside is free of charge but if you want to go further or to the catacombs there is a charge.

Such a stunning piece of architecture! One of the most beautiful cathedrals I’ve ever been to in Europe. The detailed work here is marvellous. I’d say it’s a must visit if you’re in Vienna. You won’t regret it.

Beautiful Cathedral in central Vienna. While you do not have to pay to enter the church, there is a fee to tour the entire inside of the church. The line was too long the day we arrived, so we did not visit everything. Still beautiful and can take great photos from the free area.

Wow. I'll be yet another person to add a 5* review to this magnificent church! Stunning in its exterior, the beauty manages to extend to its interior. We made it during a mass which was great to experience and then visited again in the evening. Let the pictures speak as opposed to my review, and in reality, if you're in Vienna you're probably going to visit :) Ultimately, my only gripe is that they only accept cash for tours.

The church is beautiful! A must see in Vienna. I like that they have divided their tour into sections and prices and you can buy an all inclusive or just buy the ones that you want. We bought the cathedral and catacombs. Cathedral has a QR code tour on your phone that is very informative. The catacombs were amazing and a little scary. Must see. We wanted to go to treasury too but the timings didn’t work for us. Do check opening times because they seem to open and close for visitors throughout the day/week, depending on services and mass.

Very beautiful cathedral. Since I came on Sunday, it's a good time for praying and no ticket entry but you can donate with buying souvenirs, and you can buy ticket inside if you want to look further more. 🙏🙏

We loved St. Stephen’s! We decided to buy tickets to the catacomb tour and the South Tower and we felt that we saw plenty. I think we spent about 10€ per person total to see both. We loved the catacombs tour. Our guide was very enthusiastic and gave us a lot of information about the catacombs. It was very in depth and in both German and English. You pay at the end of the tour in cash (they have change). The south tower was quite a trek - not for the faint of heart or claustrophobic. The stairs are very narrow and you end up walking past people going the opposite way. It gets very hot as well, so I’m not sure I’d recommend going on a hot day. We went on a rainy day and it was cooking, but thankfully the windows at the watch tower were open with a nice breeze to cool down at. You pay for tickets at the entrance of the South Tower.

The complex of palaces and gardens Belvedere is just a masterpiece. Two palaces (upper and lower), a complex of fountains, landscape design, a huge square. Therefore, this place is always crowded. Gorgeous art exposition of Gustav Klimt, including his most famous works. If you decide to see the palaces from the inside and see a collection of paintings, then it is better to take tickets online (the difference is noticeable). On Belvedere it is necessary to have at least 5-6 hours. It's worth to see it by own The buildings look amazing as well as the garden. Sculptures and fountains located along the paths are pleasing to the eyes. This is a must visit location in Vienna! The gardens are stunning in their elegance and memories of a bygone age abound in the architecture and layout. The views of the hills around Vienna are wonderful. Book online in advance ! we were lucky to get tickets close to the time we were there otherwise would have had to come back later. Saw ‘The Kiss,’ amazing! Beautiful interior to the building- and lots of signs to tell you the history of the rooms as well as the art.

*Note, I didn’t go into the Museum. This is about the gardens. I didn’t feel like going to see “The Kiss” which is the main reason you go to this Museum. The gardens are absolutely spectacular. All three levels of them. The bottom level is fun to kind of walk through the hedges and find a little spots. Some of them have sculptures and some of them just have park benches but you don’t know till you enter. The two main fountains are beautiful and super picturesque one side you can see the beautiful palace on the other side you can see Vienna making both sides beautiful in different ways. You can easy spend a good 2 hours just walking and enjoying the gardens

It's hard to put this in to words how much this is worth visiting. You need to like art and you need to have patience to walk around and enjoy the culture. It was spectacular to see Klimt's the kiss. The architecture is awesome and the grounds and garden are worth a walk. So much to do, just pay it a visit

We were fascinated by this incredible piece of Vienna’s history. Upon entering from the main gate you have this huge space with a lake and manicured flower beds. At the entrance of the museum you must deposit your backpacks in a special room at the "bag storage" and you can choose which direction to take first. The visit inside the museum has no time limit, you can go inside for as long as you want. It really is a must-see tourist attraction. We recommend making tickets online so you can skip the line at the ticket office.

The place to see The Kiss of Gustav Klimt. 🥺🥺❤️❤️ Make sure to get to the Upper gallery for this. Get your ticket online to skip the queue. The first floor baroque art ceilings are just marvellous and I couldn't get enough of staring at them. U can also see other modern artists like monet. A lot of art to admire and a beautiful interior. I went there during a very hot summer day and it was air conditioned. Enjoy the visit.

Amazing palace!! I visited here during noon. It has amazing view. Not just the walk around, you can simply sit there and enjoy your time with family, friends or your partner. It has very mesmerizing view. You'll definitely collect so many memories from here. Highly recommended!!

Very nice place worth seeing in Vienna. The park/gardens around this place with number of fountains are amazing. You can have a walk, seat on a garden bench and relax. There is also a cafe if you want to drink or bite something. Recommended place on a Vienna tourist map.

This was a stunning museum I would really recommend visiting. Getting tickets online in advance is preferable however if you don’t you can have a lovely stroll around the gardens outside. We only visited the Upper Belvedere which was stunning in itself - especially for the amazing Klimt collection but I would love to visit the Lower part next time.

Wonderful Museum and art gallery in beautiful surroundings, not to be missed if you’re a Klimt fan! We only went to lower Belvedere and the Schlossgarten but enjoyed every moment. Go early to avoid the crowds. We did but it was very crowded as we left.

One of the must see places at Vienna. There is Upper Belvedere, Lower Belvedere and the gardens. The gardens are free to visit. There are spread tickets for upper and lower palace. The upper place ticket is $17, but you can get a 2 in 1 ticket for $24. The famous “The Kiss” painting by Gustav Klimt is on the Upper Belvedere. It’s a must see. The gardens and the small lake are beautiful and worth the visit if you don’t want to go inside.

We only visited The upper Palace at Belvedere as this has a great art collection in particular the works of Gustav Klimt and many other great works of art. The building itself is spectacular as it was built as a Palace and never occupied as such, now serving as an Art Gallery. It also has a very nice cafe which looks out onto the gardens and Lower Belvedere. There is, of course, a gift shop where one can buy memories at all budget levels.

It is an impressive and imposing building that houses a variety of exhibits. I honestly can't understand the purpose of all these massive internal staircases that take up almost half of the palace. Finally, the Greek antiquities are as if they were simply stored there and not as if they were being exhibited.

The place is MASSIVE! It has so much history and so many things to see! From the silver museum to the library to the sisi museum to the imperial rooms! It's a lot of fun but the tour is really long (about 90 minutes or so). The audio guide experience is really good! I got to learn a lot of things about the history of Austria and about the royal family! Some criticisms are that we can't take pictures at parts of the place (like sisi museum and imperial rooms) and that we can't connect Bluetooth earbuds to the audio guide remote. The amount of things you learn there is so much worth it though and the place is very well priced! I had a lot of fun there.

If you have only got time to visit one attraction in Vienna, make it this. The palace complex houses paintings by the likes of Klimt.

Loved it the first time I came here in summer of 2019 and still loved it again after four years. I’d say I prefer the summer time for this type of visit because it’s a vast area of space that gets quite windy and cold in January. Otherwise, you’ll be able to explore all the vast options when the weather is good. However, if you don’t mind the cold, the grounds are yours, albeit there’s not much to see except the museums. Perhaps this is when a tour guide would be most helpful.

A very nice zoo with a great selection of animals. Many large exhibits offer a variety of vantage points. Logical layout so easy to see all of the zoo following the trails. Signs in German and English. Recommend buying tickets in advance or at the self service machines to avoid queues. Many places to buy snacks, meals, and drinks. Small play areas for children

This is an old and important Zoo. It includes very rare animals. They feed them (at different time, lion, tiger and Panda at 3PM), there could be another morning time not sure. You can go and touch the goats which kids love so much. It takes half a day to really enjoy it. Also, elephant training time is 11AM. Lots of cafe and restaurants. Maps can be improved big time.

Being the world's oldest zoo this one was really well maintained and cleaned. Best thing is the cafe beside lion's den. You can have a thrilling experience watching lions roaming beside you while enjoying food. This has a variety of different animals and based on their habits the environment is maintained. A must visit place in Vienna.

One of the best zoos we have visited in European cities. The garden is enormous, with huge variety of animals and educational information about them. The place is perfect not just for kids, but also for their parents. There are plenty of options for resting, observing and enjoying the views. Plenty of shadows for a sunny day. Various restaurants and options to buy food. On weekends and during lunch time it might be difficult to get a table for lunch and you might need to wait a while. Will definitely visit the place when in Vienna.

The oldest zoo in the world and many of its historic buildings are beautifully preserved. This gives the Tiergarten a unique atmosphere found nowhere else. The zoo, however, is on the small side and thus many enclosures just seem inadequate for the animals that are in them, especially the ones for sea lions, elephants, giraffes and polar bears (despite the latter two being relatively modern). Worth a visit for sure but definitely not the best zoo in Europe.

Excellent value at €26. Really big zoo, can easily spend 3-4 hours. It has pretty much everything, it is located in the main park with stunning scenery. Lions and tigers didn't really do much, and unfortunately the monkeys weren't playing. But the elephants and giraffes made it worth while.

It's amazing looking at all the animals in a clean and well preserved natural environment, each place is unique and interesting. You can tell how everything has been meticulously designed to accommodate perfectly each one. It's not too tiring to view it all, but it has a lot so come early if you want to go through the whole thing.

One of the oldest zoos in the world! This was such an amazing experience. The zoo was a lot bigger than we were expecting it to be and beyond crowded so we would recommend buying tickets in advance and getting there early. You will not be disappointed visiting this zoo from child age to adult there is something to admire for everyone.

Beautiful zoo with many animal exhibits! I was surprised how large the zoo actually was, I would reccomend planning on a minimum of 2-3 hours here. If you are visiting the palace and gardens this is a must see. When purchasing your tickets online for the palace you can choose a ticket that includes zoo entry.

I'm absolutely against the concept of animals in captivity for show and profit. Nonetheless, it is a big and interesting zoo. I just wish we could get rid of zoos altogether. The same, if not better results could be achieved by reproducing the flora and habitats and filling them with plenty of stuffed animals. But probably we will sadly end up doing so anyway as more and more species go extinct.

Very nicely kept grounds. Modern but steeped in history. You are reminded of the original way it was in a few places around the place. There are many areas to get away from sun or rain and lots of well kept animals to see. Overall a good experience to have with kids

It might be a smaller zoo than what I'm used to but it is still a beautiful one. You can't get lost or lose your track where to go. Animals are put into places with viewing areas that you can see them really nicely, so for me that's a really plus! But I wish the one viewing area for pandas would be managed better, but still it's okay. The zoo is really nice and mainly there is a panda, so I loved it and I'm pretty sure anyone will love it as well! :)

Wow, breathtaking architecture from the moment you walk in. The building was already set in itself. We haven’t even seen the halls yet when we were greeted by these intricate details from ceiling to floor… The indoor cafe was even more beautiful with the marble details and the gold accents! Plus, the high ceiling that stretched into a dome. We didn’t get to try it but it seemed to have a long line but just looking at it was already a sight. Amazing collection of art pieces spanning from different eras. Below are some favorites that are worth your time! Make sure to find these incredible works. There weren’t too much people when we went. Didn’t have to wait in line at all except for the washroom… but the museum was spacious and the flow of people was manageable so it didn’t feel tight.

What a breathtakingly beautiful and vast museum. The first hack you need to be aware of is that if you don’t buy your tickets online, there is a ticket office on the outside but just inside the entrance there are a couple of self service kiosks which you can use to buy the ticket and there’s no line. Take your time as this museum is huge and it covers a lot of history. Have 1 or 2 euro coins with you for locker storage. The building itself is stunningly beautiful. Definitely worth seeing

This museum offers a fantastic opportunity for photography enthusiasts while showcasing remarkable paintings and sculptures. Exploring all the exhibitions here can be time-consuming, and it's important to note that there's no option to leave for a break. Instead, you'll find a restaurant within the museum, albeit slightly pricier. The staff, on the whole, is friendly, although some individuals may come across as a bit rude. However, the food is delicious, and I finally had the chance to savor a Vienna schnitzel that lived up to its reputation. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend visiting this place.

The Magnificence of the exterior architecture of the building is not inferior to the interior splendor of this truly Magnificent Palace of Arts. The precious collection of paintings, housed in numerous halls, delights lovers of fine art. Passing from one masterpiece to another, you forget about time and space, plunging into the atmosphere of True Beauty. You can come here again and again to satisfy your aesthetic hunger. Yes, and physical hunger can be satisfied in the beautiful cafe of the museum, where you can taste delicacies from the chef or drink a cup of the most delicious coffee in Vienna.

Inside and out, this place is beautiful and full of history. The best museum I've been to so far. All the floors have exhibits. I thought I've already seen a lot based on the paintings and sculptures I've seen on floor 1, but I was surprised to see that the floor 0 to 05 (archeology section) has many to offer (Egypt, Greek and gold collections). I liked eating at the ornate restaurant too. It offered good meals for the same prices outside.

I really really enjoyed it It was a very big museum which included almost everything. Definately their security staff could be a bit nicer with people and hence the reason I give out 4 stars. Pay attention to the building more than usual. It was a very nice building with an enriched architecture and too many details which proves that humanity architecture has been demoted comparing to our old times

This museum is the first reason I visited Vienna. Spare at least half day to enjoy this great venue especially if you love Bruegel. You have to leave your backpacks in the lockers so you need 1 or 2 Euro coins. You’ll get it back when you open the locker. Museum’s gift shop offers a variety of souvenirs. Under 19 is free admission.

I am not really a big museum person, but this was a great and absolutely stunning museum! Even if you're not into art, it might still be worth a visit just to experience the beautiful building. I really enjoyed the Roman, Greek, and Egyptian sections of the museum. We spent about 2 hours there, but if you're interested in art, you could probably spend a lot more time. You're not allowed to bring bags inside the museum, but there is an area where you can store your bag for a €1 or €2 coin, which you'll get back when you retrieve your bag. This might just be one of the most impressive museums I have visited.

This is truly one of the nicest museums for art history that I know. The building is beautiful and the art collection even better. There is so much to see that you can easily spend a few hours there. Not only the paintings of Rembrandt, Rubens and Titian are worth visiting but there is also a nice collection of Egyptian antiques.

Wow!! This museum takes most of the day. We were there from 10:15am to 2:45pm with a brief cafe break and I'm certain that we did not manage to see everything. So worth it! The paintings, the collections, and the special exhibits are all fantastically curated. We saw the Iron Man exhibit and it was pretty cool.

I recently visited the library museum in Vienna and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was struck by the beauty and grandeur of the building. The architecture and design were stunning, and the attention to detail was truly remarkable. The museum is home to an impressive array of rare and historical manuscripts, books, and documents. I was amazed to see some of the oldest and most valuable books in the world, including ancient texts and illuminated manuscripts. The museum also offers a variety of exhibits and displays that showcase the history of the library and its impact on the world. Throughout my visit, I found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Overall, I would highly recommend the library museum in Vienna to anyone with an interest in literature, history, or architecture. It is truly a remarkable and unique experience that should not be missed. I give it a perfect rating of 5/5.

Amazing museum. A mix of old masters paintings. I was less aware of their archaeological pieces. An amazing selection of Greco-Roman sculptures and artefacts (sadly not in English) as well as an excellent Egyptian collection. Also includes Hapsburg pieces (I really like the automatons). Well worth a visit (€21 adult entry).

If you are in Vienna and you are interested in art history, there is something to see here. Time flies here as you meander from hall to hall and marvel at the extraordinary works. The staircase is magnificent. Nice cafe in the museum.

I have a fun exploring this museum. It was one that I wasn’t sure that I was going to go even with its high ratings. But it was a lot of fun to walk the ancient Egyptian exhibit and see all of the sarcophagus and the little green hippo, was adorable. All of the different sculptures were beautiful and then you go to the next floor and you get to see a bunch of famous artworks, which were just as stunning, so I was very happy that I ended up taking the time to go to this museum it was well worth it.

The place is amazing. We go down, underground and enter historical halls. There are dining tables with charming lighting and music that fits the atmosphere. I came to the restaurant with my older son who was celebrating his birthday. The restaurant was full with reservations two weeks ahead and even though I forgot to make a reservation, the lovely manager who greeted us Konrad made efforts and after the wait we got a table and the wait was not in vain. Alex the charming waiter served us with a smile and explained to us about the different dishes. I recommend eating their flagship dish which is the ribs in different flavors. It was so delicious. It was an experience that will not be forgotten and especially my son had a great time and the restaurant made him a surprise and brought him a cake with distillation in honor of his birthday. The prices are reasonable and the food was above expectations. highly recommend. Attached are pictures of the food we ate. At first we ate soup: goulash and mushrooms. After that we ate Viennese schnitzel and ribs in different flavors. Everything was delicious.. Thanks to Konrad and Alex for the lovely experience.

I came to the Ribs of Vienna with a goal od eating the potentially tastiest ribs in my life and it definitely lived up to my expectations. I ordered a mix of the classic Ribs of Vienna, along with the Flamenco and Ginger ones, from which the last ones were in my opinion the best. The service was perfect, very friendly and hospitable and even though I did not have a reservation, a table for me was found right away. The atmosphere and mood of the restaurant only adds up to the great taste of the ribs. All in all, if you are looking for a place in Vienna to eat delicious ribs and have a very pleasant experience, Ribs of Vienna is the place for you.

Delicious ribs, enjoyed so many flavors and the Chardonnay was very nice too. The service is a bit slow, but the food is cooked very well (not rushed) and worth the wait. The sides were great too especially the potatoes and coleslaw. Our favorite flavor for the ribs was classic Vienna with Bacon being our second favorite. I was surprised the Hawaiian had a cinnamon taste, I do not recommend that flavor especially since I'm allergic it was not expected or appreciated but we would still like to come back here. I see why it's always so popular and you need reservations many days in advance.

Food was okay. Service was okay. Located in the basement floor which gave quite historical feeling. There are many flavors of ribs to choose from. The wait was too long, we waited more than an hour for food to arrive. Fries were okay. I personally think the food was not worth the wait.

A great place for a great dinner! We came here for the famous vienna ribs, which were just great. The dish is really large and delicious and justifies its popularity. We also had the schnitzel (which was good) and a few other ribs, but would highly recommend to go with the Vienna ribs, the ribs are so good it doesn't need too much sauce and seasoning in my opinion.

Everything about my experience was great, especially since I came in around 10 PM. My baby back ribs were cooked to perfection, almost falling off the bone. I got three types of ribs, and they all had nice but not overpowering flavors. The trio came with roasted potatoes that were done perfectly, and a nice pile of coleslaw. I interacted with five staff in the course of the evening and all of them were delightful and spoke perfect English. The building is a very cool old cellar, over 300 years old. This place is professionally run with excellent food.

I haven’t tried any other ribs in Vienna to compare this place with so I’m comparing this with ribs in America. The meat doesn’t fall off the bone or soft. It’s more chewy and harder. They offer different flavors of the ribs which was nice to try.

Had the original ribs and fried mushroom. Highly recommended to book in advance as it gets packed so quickly. Seems like ribs are cooked fresh as ordered as it took some time. Original ribs were very delicious and generous portion - so glad we decided to come here. Fried mushrooms were as good as the ribs!! Beer with lemon juice was refreshing too. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. They didn't enforce tips aggressively unlike other reviewers mentioned, which made us tip them generously. Can get quite noisy so I recommend booking when it opens at 5pm.

Ribs of Vienna is a popular ribs restaurant located in the center of Vienna. The restaurant has a cozy and rustic atmosphere, with wooden decor. The food is delicious. The ribs are cooked to perfection and are incredibly tender and flavorful. The portions are generous, and there are also several side dish options to choose from. Overall, Ribs of Vienna is a great choice for a special occasion or a casual dinner out with friends. Highly recommended!

Wonderful in every way! The food is amazing, the service is kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere is perfect. My wife and I ordered the gourmet ribs (very large and meaty portion that comes with french fries, a small salad and dips) for each of us, an Edelweiss Weizen (0.5l) for each of us and a Coke for each of us. All for a laughable price of 67 Euros, which, on top of an extremely happy stomach, made us want to give a very generous tip to a very deserving staff! Definitely recommended for many, many reasons. We will be back for more. Thank you!!!

Had lunch on a Friday. The interior decoration was pretty awesome, the portions were huge, and overall the food was great. Service was efficient and polite but not very warm. Would recommend, especially for larger parties.

I loved this place. First staff and very friendly and helpful. Very quick service and fresh food. Food is absolutely delicious, full of flavors. The Schnitzel was very tender and juicy. Very nice place indeed.

Stylish place with delicious food and pleasant atmosphere. The service was very fast, portions are large and we had to get 2 boxes even though the ribs and pork medallions were delicious. Not cheap but reasonably priced for the area. Expect 50+ per person with wine. Parking would be problematic, walk or take a cab, reservation is required.

The schnitzel is excellent! Would recommend to order it with the potato salad as a side dish. The interior of the restaurant is very authentic. Our waiter, Damian, was so very friendly and professional!! Big shout out and thank you!

Definitely one of the places worth visiting to eat something amazing! The service is very nice and you can see that they care about the well-being of the customers. The portions are big, so be careful what and how much you order haha! Five stars!

Very good service and nice patio on a quiet street. The meat dishes looked very good from what we saw at other tables. We had the spaetzle, pancake with ice cream (a crepe) and apple strudel. The first two were good, however the strudel was heavy & cake-like, which I would not recommend.

Very tasty Austrian food in a traditional setting. Server was very personable and attentive (I think his name was Harris?) And enjoyed sitting outside in the sun. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a more authentic experience in the middle of Vienna 👍🏻

Incredible decorations inside and food was enjoyable. The waiters were very friendly as well. Just a bit pricey and the schnitzel was a tad dry, otherwise really yummy. Recommend getting a sauce with it. The cucumber-potato salad was very refreshing though.

Lovely traditional restaurant with good food. I ordered cordon bleu and it was bigger than my face that I thought I would be so sick of eat it all but I finished it all satisfactorily. Service was pretty good and I can see the smile from all the waiters (through their mask). Good place to go alone or in group.

Good, hearty, comfort food. Got the ribs and goulash. Literally everything was good. Even the roasted potatoes (I usually hate roasted potatoes). Best part is that the prices are fair for the amount of food you get. It’s busy! Make a reservation if you can.

This restaurant offers many local dishes and they have mastered the traditional Viennese Schnitzel. There is a variety of local tap beer - fresh and tasty. What really makes a difference here is the service - fast, informative and with a smile. The perfect combination for a successful business. Highly recommended place for hungry tourists and travelers staying in Vienna. One little advice: make a reservation, it's very busy in the evenings!

Atmosphere : too dark and crowded for Vienna. The circulation of air inside is worrisome Food : presentation better than the taste, the chef seems to seek for creativity, unfortunately, it’s a failed trial. Most food can barely be regarded “not horrible” Wine : the waitress didn’t care to introduce the wine she served. Anyway, the wine paring is not recommanded. Price : way too expensive Overall : a little better than average

I recently went to Ef16 wine bar for the second time, and let me tell you, it was terrific. We decided to go all out and try their four-course menu with wine pairings (Austrian wine), and it was a delightful surprise. If you are up for a culinary adventure and want to treat yourself to something special, Ef16 wine bar is the place to go. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Just be ready to be surprised and delighted by their menu. It's worth every penny!

Food was good, cute traditional restaurant service was a bit long. If you want to try a typical nice restaurant I definitely suggest that you try this one. Try their goat cheese salad and Lambs. Their schnitzel was a bit salty though, Corn chicken was good.

Had the chef’s tasting menu with wine pairing and everything was perfect. Some of the best food I’ve ever had! Service was friendly as well

It is indeed the best veal schnitzel we’ve had!! A bit tender and not dry at all. Totally changed our perspective about schnitzel! The veal ragout tagliolini was amazing as well. We cleaned our plate. Prawn tartare and goat cheese starters were also tasty! For dessert, we’ve had the tiramisu. It is not bad but we wouldn’t say it’s the best.

Went there with a group of 9 people on a Friday night with a reservation (reservation is a must as It got quite busy), they accommodated even several changes to our reservation (thank you die that flexibility). Service was mega attentive und friendly. Food was really good - we had menus of 3 and 5 courses. Wines great, too!

A really good experience. The place is small but always busy - has a great collection of food and drinks. Went for my bday and it was well worth it. We tried the secret course menus and each dish was nice.

Very perfect place for meat lovers. I recommend groz ribs for 24,99 enough easily for 2 or 1 very hungry person. You will see that the restaurant is very busy and this is normal due to the delicious food they offer. The location is not in the Center of the city but it deserves every minute of driving. I really recommend for anyone to visit this lovely restaurant.

This is one of the most iconic place where they serve everything is XXXL size. The quantity is so huge it can be shared by 4 people. The chicken which we had was the smallest portion in their menu. The preparation was done very well with sauce and fries on the sides. The chicken itself is crispy on the outside and juicy and so fresh. Another one of the must visit places for meat lovers. Happy Eating!

An iconic place in Vienna, for, what tbe austrians may call, "big hunger". The interior is of a classic and cool looking Austrian hut. Portions are truly huge and they are prepared for you to be asking for a to to box. Food is delicious, nothing unexpected just classif Austrian fare. Great place to experience something truly Austrian.

Recommend to take only the plate! Not anything else and come very hungry because you will eat so much that you never had before. Very good price and taste!

Really tasty and big schnitzel ! We were 2 hungry people and we couldn’t eat the schnitzel plate that was in the menu as a plate for 2 ! I do highly recommend this place for schnitzel and beer🍺 ! The staff was friendly and the prices were also good !

I had RIBS: looks good, flavor not bad, but the quality of meat is veryyyy BAD, meat like a RUBBER 😩 Not soft at all… I love ribs, but this ribs were RUBBER RIBS. Stars for food is 0 unfortunately. P.s: place is cool, nice waiters 👍🏻 5 stars for it. In general I can’t recommend this place for ribs for sure 😞

Best place to eat in wien!! I LOVED IT, the schnitzel was very tasty and we loved it. Prices are good and despite it is quite a bit far from the city it is totally worth it.

The service was fast and helpful. The atmosphere is locally authentic. The food was good and the portions are quite big.

Having such high expectations based of the long standing accolades and awards for this establishment I am disappointed and frustrated to have to write such a negative review. I have been to many Michelin restaurants and I have never left so underwhelmed. This would be my least favorite Michelin restaurant and chef’s menu, to date. 1) The total dining experience was over 4 hours. While I am in no rush, I found no desire to stay as long as we were there. Had there been dishes or an experience that peaked my interest I’d be happy to stay this long. We did not have the first course till after an hour and fifteen. The courses were spaced anywhere from 20-40 minutes apart after last bite of previous course. We were utterly bored. 1A) While service wasn’t bad, the attentiveness was not there. At Michelin caliber restaurants I expect the table to be immaculate and cleaned after each meal, this never occurred. This is picky, but it’s what to be expected at this level of restaurant. 2) The food was flat, nothing stood out to me and while it had many ingredients that I was excited to try together I did not find any complexity to the dishes. There have been Michelin restaurants where I remember specific dishes, there was unfortunately not one tonight. I found the plating and presentation of the food repetitive, it was the same presentation for each dish, the server would spoon out of a measuring cup for each dish (this is picky, but part of these dining experiences is the art of presentation and it felt lazy) 3) The wine pairings, while not bad, were very similar. I expect exciting different elements to compliment the dishes, did not feel it was adequate. I am sorry to have to write this review and I am hopeful that this was an off night or week (although a restaurant of this caliber and rating should not have this).

2 star restaurant on the Michelin guide. We went for lunch and it was fantastic. The service was very good and I loved that the bread was fresh on a moving cart and so were the drinks and cheese. A classy getaway if you’re looking for a rather pricey dinner or lunch out. However, the price is matched by its elegance, service, food and atmosphere.

Had one of the best dining experiences of my life at Steirereck today that I felt compelled to leave a review. I did the 4 course lunch tasting. From the moment I sat down, the hospitality was palpable. Every dish I ordered was superb and the perfect amount of food for me to enjoy every single course until dessert. The Roebuck (main course) was a highlight, with the Young Celeriac (starter) a close second.

Beautiful experience, pleasant ambience. Dishes were distinctive, and refined but carried an unpretentious presentation and familiar palate. Thoroughly entertaining bread and cheese cart with an overwhelming selection. April 2022

I had high expectations for this 2 star Michelin restaurant but it was disappointing. The outside and location inside the park probably contributed to the extra star. It is nice inside but the table we had was awkward with and view of the serving carts and had a hanging bulb since the overhead light was broken. Shocked to see the service done with rolling carts. The wine server was rushing from table to table placing down bottles,quickly rambling the type of wine and taste pairings then running off. He would come back and pick up the bottles two minutes later. Service was not close to two star quality. The 6 courses were good but nothing impressive or unique. This is a one star restaurant in a two star location.

I came to Austria to experience the 13th restaurant in the world. I booked eight people for lunch. When I arrived, I was told that I couldn’t order a lunch set, so the whole lunch didn’t end until 3:30 pm. The overall creativity of dishes and sauces is satisfactory.
