Extremely beautiful and breathtaking natural beauty. Hiking is really nice. Vancouver aquarium is there as well. The whole outer walk of the park is about 10 km. English Bay is right next to it which has a great multicultural food scene. Beware of coyotes though if you go deeper into the park. Easily accessible from Vancouver city

An incredibly gorgeous place to walk/bike/scooter! We biked and it took about an hour and a half to get through the whole thing. It was nice to have the bike path separated from the walking path. There are many places you can rent a bike/scooter from. We went to “bikes and blades” and got bikes for $7/hour per person. We are definitely doing this again!

One of the most beautiful parks I've ever seen. The park is huge and very pretty especially during autumn as you can see the leaves starting to turn yellowish and reddish. It's a really nice place to have picnics as they have a lot of benches all around the park. I rented a bicycle at Spokes and cycled a whole round around the park. I stopped midway to visit the aquarium so the total trip took around 8 hours (including the occasional stops to take pics).

Beautiful, serene place with a little bit for everyone. Beach, playgrounds, good for biking, walking and jogging. Lots of wildlife and fauna and flora. There are bikes you could rent. Ample paid parking all around and Tennis courts. The trees are beautiful.

Exquisite place to visit! Lots of things to do here if you enjoy sightseeing or nature. Nice to run or bike or just exercise too. lots of green space and views of the water! Must visit when you come to Vancouver! Even just chilling here for a few hours feels really good mentally.

So many interesting spots to visit within the park. Bike paths throughout the park. Recommend taking chairs, snacks, and drinks. Bathrooms are available next to souvenirs/ coffee shop. At least 2-4 hours exploring the area.

It is an amazing place to spend time in a beautiful natural place. It is perfect for biking, jogging and walking. Parking places are available though we took the bus which was easier. It is a full day visit if you plan to see the aquarium

So many different ways to experience this park. There was the seawall that went on forever, views of the city skyline across the water, old growth trees, replicas of several First Nations carved poles retelling their history, walking trails, bike paths, sports activities, restaurants, and more. This is such a wonderful park. I really wish I had more time to enjoy all that it has to offer before flying out. Highly recommend!

Loved it here. We rented bikes and spent the whole day exploring. Lots of great views of the city and the water. Riding under bridges. A couple designated beach areas. A brewery at one end. Would 100% recommend anyone take the time to explore if you can.

A must see area if you’re visiting Vancouver like we were. Amazing views of the city, mountains and lions gate bridge. The seawall is definitely the best part to walk, jog or run. Enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful and pleasant walk along the seawall from Coal Harbour to English Bay. Nice views all around. You get a good view of Canada Place, Downtown Vancouver, Lions Gate Bridge. A walk along the sea wall brings you to a lighthouse, an old canon and the girl in a wet suit statue. The totem pole display is beautiful and again a must-see area. We visited the park in December Christmas time. Would love to come back for a visit in summer or fall to do hiking, biking, exploring beaches and trails the park offers. :)

Absolutely wonderful park, my family and I had a blast walking around and looking at the beautiful Vancouver skyline. I enjoyed the walk along the perimeter of the park along the water, and saw my first ever floating Chevron on the harbor! Cool totem poles, walkway, garden, geocaches, tree trunk arch, statues, informational signs, and views. The atmosphere was wonderful, with lots of families and people walking around and enjoying the wonderful Sunday afternoon. I highly recommend visiting this park if you’re in the Vancouver area!

What a wonderful place for a walk or riding a bicycle. So many interesting points to take some pictures.📸 2 beaches⛱️, 1 swimming pool next to the water💧at the second beach, third beach is my best place for a quiet lunch. There are some bicycle paths in the wood not to be missed. Big big trees.🌳 We saw a eagle, a seal, different kinds of birds.🐦 Don't missed the giant historical old tree for a picture. A must park to visit!!💖

Beautiful park, you could literally spend hours here just enjoying the nature and it’s sounds.. I highly suggest walking through the park trails instead of the seawall or the road. Tall trees, critters, mushrooms and more. There’s so many fun finds here if nature is your jam. But please wear proper shoes and make sure to you take breaks cause some of those inclines are no joke!!

I would give this place a few extra stars if I could! This place provides fun-filled leisure and features animal rescue and care facilities. It is perfect for any child interested in marine life and having a turtle-y great time (I know, pathetic)! We went on a Saturday and were positively delighted to see children smitten by the magic of the place! In most of the tanks, the water is mirror smooth and has species of such beauty darting across. We enjoyed watching the playful antics of the sea otters. I had absolutely no idea that there are so many varieties of sea anemone species that run almost the full spectrum of colors, from subdued greens to fluorescent pinks! Some of them looked like petals waving in the breeze. There are a number of activities aimed at educating and entertaining visitors in a fun and engaging manner. The cherry on top of the cake? I was given a free slushie!

Wow, this place in amazing. It says online that you will take about 90 minutes - 2 hours to see everything but it will take you at least 3 hours and you will enjoy every second of it. They have daily attractions such as snake display, feeding and training seals and sea lions, 4D Cinema, a Wet Lab and others you don't want to miss. The aquariums and other animal displays are made with such attention to detail you really feel like you're inside it. Some have water until eye level and then what would the habitat look like not just under but above water level too. Beautiful! The staff is very skillful and helpful, and they will kindly answer your questions when you ask. It is a very clean environment and even being full of animals, it doesn't smell like. Everything is impeccable. For kids: it is a really nice place to take kids of all ages, they seem to be almost hypnotized by the animals and there are some very cool and simple explanations in every display, so they can read for themselves, learn and don't have to ask you every single thing. It is a highly recommended tour whether you're a tourist in Vancouver or if you live in Vancouver. Do not miss it, you won't regret it.

A very cool experience. I have been here a handful of times. Dress for some of it being outside. Stroller friendly. The food is pretty decent from the cafe. Expensive parking. Although coming back from Covid there are still some animals missing. Will be back again!

y aquarium visit was absolutely delightful! From the vibrant displays of colorful fish to the graceful movements of majestic sea creatures, every moment was captivating. The well-maintained exhibits provided a fascinating insight into marine life. I was in awe of the diversity and beauty of the underwater world. The staff was friendly and informative, adding to the overall experience. It was a truly mesmerizing and educational outing for all ages. I can't wait to visit again!

A great place for family outing! I went there on a weekday so there was no queue at all. I bought the tickets right on the spot. Inside, there are a lot of variety of animals, not just marine animals but also birds and tortoises. One thing that i like about this aquarium is thst they have an elevated platform so that kids are able to see the fishes from up close as some of the aquariums has high walls. They also have some jellyfishes which i think is very mesmerizing!

The Aquarium is so much more than just fish! It has frogs and snakes and marsupials and birds! We spent three hours there and it could’ve been a whole day event! The shows outside were fun and educational. My favourite attraction is the otters, they are so fun and playful! You “otter” visit the Vancouver Aquarium!

The place was very entertaining for me! I had fun with the sea otters, penguins and the others! They have a schedule of their activities on their website so you can watch how they train them and maybe they’ll give you a show! Make sure to book your tickets ahead of time (online if possible!) to avoid expensive tickets on site. Overall, the experience was unforgettable. This is a nice place to bring your family or if you want to have a date. 😉

Beautiful exhibits and scheduled shows. Lots of great information and a lot to experience! I would suggest going within the first two, three hours of opening or the last two, three hours of closing. In between that time frame was just too crowded and busy to fully enjoy the experience. Despite that, it was an overall a beautiful day! Thank you VanAqua

It’s had to be critical of the Vancouver Aquarium, so much of what they do here is behind the scenes and they do so much for the marine environment, however it has changed so much since COVID. The porpoises and beluga’s were dearly missed but glad they didn’t replace them just to have them. We visited on a Monday and it was packed! Parking was brutal, and it took over 45min from entering Stanley park, to ‘crawl’ up to the parking area. The staff at the concession were friendly, and happy to help, but were very overwhelmed. We ordered hot chocolates and the machine ran out of powder, so we had to go back to ask to make us new ones, which they did without hesitation, however while there waiting, all off the milk, cream, ketchup, napkins were empty. There were countless staff members inside helping / guiding visitors on the attractions which made learning a lot easier - all of them were delightful and great ambassadors for the aquarium. The 4D more was a nice treat and very glad it’s included, the young lady leading this was very good at her job, and even though she gives the same speech every half hour she was enthusiastic! The entrance fees are steep, and at this price I’m not sure if we will come back anytime soon, but glad we got to experience it. The missing animals left a void that was very noticeable but the aquarium is still a must visit place for any family.

First time here after they re-opened after pandemic. It’s kinda sad that no longer have any whales, dolphins, penguins and octopus. Kids were still excited watching 4D shark show. They were also happy seeing the electric-eel swimming(went there a few times before the electric-eel was always sleeping), shark, walruses, sea lions, seals and piranha in rain forest area. Surprisingly we have sloth now! We purchased one year membership for 2 adult + 2 children because we plan to go again soon. It is still a good place to go with kids to explore with ocean animals.

I love aquariums and this one justifies its steep entry fee with a diverse range of aquatic life in large, clean exhibits. I can't pick just one highlight: the jellyfish, the unique turtles, the absolutely massive anaconda, or the precious harbor seal the zoo rehabilitated from a devastating injury. Top-notch attraction. A must-visit in my book.

A very, very interesting experience that I recommend everyone to try. Feels like you are really flying through mountains, rivers, desert and valleys with real life effects. The experience is hypothetical, not real. Photography inside is prohibited, the place is clean and tidy. There is a reservation office outside and inside and by online. I love Cypress! I've only been twice over the span of 12 years but it remains unchanged if not better. The green hills are kinda steep but the view is beautiful. The staff are all kind (99% of them) and the equipment is very clean and new. The food isn't that expensive which was a surprise. I thought they would jack up the prices. I am now a Cypress fan and I think this will be the mountain I will frequent.

This is one of the best virtual experience you can have where you can see few of the major attractions like mountains, rivers, lakes and much more accross Canada virtually in a 25 minutes session. The ride feels real, steers in different directions with special effects of water coming on your face. It slows down suddenly like a plane and then goes too fast over the mountains that it almost feels like you are flying the plane. The staff is friendly and helpful by guiding the visitors properly and also taking care of their loose belongings that visitors bring with them so that the loose belongings doesn't hurt the visitors accidentally. It is worth your money so will definitely recommend.

The best 4D experience in Canada I had few in Toronto and Niagara but this is next level. Must see highly recommended I will visit this again for sure as the experience of you flying over various places in Canada is just amazing you feel the wind, smell the grass, feel the G's with flying over all a very unique experience. Kids were like can we go again. Not just that while waiting in line the view from the Canada place is great. Ample washroom but parking is limited and paid we parked underground and it was expensive. I have watched FlyOver Iceland in Iceland. This one is equally amazing and enjoyable. Worth the money. Beware that buying tickets online is cheaper than at the box office - about $4 Canadian dollars cheaper for non BC residents. Also, different days have different prices - the difference can be $12 Canadian dollars. Check before you go.

I loved the experience, well maintained park. Ideal for an evening stroll or a quick run. Enough restrooms, park benches and eateries and beaches in between. Beware of Coyotes after dark, a local told us if ever approached by coyotes to shine phone flashlight on their face. I would rate this as one of the Must do activities in Vancouver. It's a 5.8 mile walk with no elevation.Took US almost 2.5 hours to complete. I really loved how they have park benches in area with great views.

Definitely a great place to come for walking or biking around it. There's washroom, attractive spot, playground, beach, food shops, and more, which is between or to each destination. Such a gorgeous cityscape and water view with mountain background. Well maintained environment, and if you come here at sunset or night, even better for photography. Highly recommended to visiting here.

Great place to do a walk, running the length of False Creek. There are also plenty of Mobi bike stations as well as a ferry running between different aspects. The seawall is mixed use for walking, running, and biking. Many people also bring their dogs

Nice, scenic park and walkway where you can enjoy nature and the skyline of Vancouver at the same time. In the evening, the place was super calm. This place must work as a healing place for Vancouver people, I guess. The park is easily accessible by bus and trams.

The Museum of Anthropology is truly amazing! I could spend several days admiring the collection and probably not do justice to it all. The $18 an adult admission is money well spent! The honest questioning by exhibitors about the ethics of saving pieces such as large totems that were meant to be in a heritage place and then return to the earth as opposed to preserving them to gain an understanding of cultural heritage is handled so well. This Catch 22 situation really makes you think. Having said such I am so grateful for the opportunity to experience them. The extensive collection including permanent and loaned Indigenous art work, including a spectacular collection of Bill Reid carvings and other pieces will fill touch your heart and soul!

One of the best museums I have been to in a long time. So much to see an read and it was all so interesting. The museum covers indigenous cultures from all over the world. When we went they also had a 10 year anniversary exhibit on the earthquake in Japan. Highly recommend to everyone.

Very nice layout. Major focus on the culture of First Nations peoples native to this area. But there is also a tucked away room with hundreds upon hundreds of small statues, sculptures, pots, paintings, and clothing from different cultures around the world. I don't think I've ever seen a museum fit so many interesting things in such a small space--without feeling disheveled or cluttered.

Museum exhibits were interesting. I especially liked the porcelain exhibition. The totems were good too. Reasonably priced entrance fee at C$18 for adults and C$16 for students. Too much for us to take in on 2 hours so I would suggest you devote at least 4 to 5 hours there. Pity that two of the halls were closed for refurbishing or conservation or something. Gift shop items were priced way out of reach though. Don't bother with it if you don't have e.g. C$25 for a tote bag.

A great place to visit in UBC. You can get a walking tour of the famous campus at the same time. We enjoyed the museum and there are tons of interesting items to see. Planning to go back in the summer.

Hadn't been in 30 years and it was as great as I remembered. I love the indigenous artifacts of course--great place to bring kids, and indigenous people get in free. But the international collection is great as well--so much human creativity on display. And the temporary exhibit was fantastic.

I went on Wednesday right at opening and stayed until noon, though I could have easily stayed for the whole day for how much there was to see. The displays in each section offer an equally excellent experience whether you're a visual stroll-through type or a "stop and read everything" museum goer. Personal favourite was the Bill Reid Rotunda, where you can see his large and small works while walking alongside the history of the artist and the contributions he made to Pacific Northwest art. Another highlight was the multiversity room, which is like having access to the "other half" of a museum, since the curators have put EVERYTHING on display in some capacity. While a selection of items are placed in glass cases and are visually organized, the remaining items are available to look at and explain in the drawers below most display cases. What I appreciated most about how this was organized was that there were explanations for items that were partially on display (sacred items that the curators have communicated with the given community and asked how to respectfully be in possession of the item), sometimes the items were described in writing but were in boxes, and in one instance, the items were wrapped in a blanket as this is how they would be stored by the community - and if you belonged to the community of a partially displayed item, you could ask to arrange to see it (which I think is an amazing approach). I definitely will be coming back, as I'm sure I only saw about a quarter of the collection at best in my half-day visit. Also worth noting, no bags or water bottles are allowed with the museum itself - there are lockers near the washrooms, and if you choose not to get a locker, you can leave your water bottle at the front desk. Photos are allowed, but no flash as some items are photosensitive. Accessibility notes: there's a lot of seating available throughout the multiversity room and the Rotunda, and there are ramps as well as stairs to access each space of the museum (including the washrooms and gift shop), and the writing on the information plaques are a standard size, though the lighting is somewhat dimmer in the multiversity room, so you may need to approach the display case more closely to see the written information (though some are lower than standing eye level).

Great museum, although it has too many artifacts kept in drawers. The place is very nice and you can take good pictures inside. It seems a bit complicated to navigate at first, but it does follow a circuit. It also has temporary exhibits that are also very well done.

Excellent oysters! Super fresh, big and tasty, the crab cake was delicious. The service is really friendly and attentive. Prices above from the average. I loved the piano music live on site. I need to visit the rooftop ambience during summer season as it seems to be very popular. I would suggest this restaurant for special occasions.

4.5 stars! Food was superb and the fish was very fresh. Portion size was massive, which is great considering the price. The staff were helpful and offered to go through the menu with us. They kept refilling our water even though it was super busy, which is a great touch as sometimes restaurants forget this. Would definitely return here to bring friends and family.

Went here for both happy hour and dinner. Was a great treat for us since we actually plan on coming here. Booking reservations was easy but we did wish we could have sat up in the roof top patio (if you do happy hour you could not book up there). We pretty much order everything on the happy hour menu to start us off and then proceed to order our dinner after. The food was great everything is fresh and tasted good. We had their raw oyster and cold seafood platter, with some other sides such as their beef ribs and calamari. We follow that up with some steaks and fish. Over all great place for drinks and dinner.

The freshest seafood in Vancouver and something you do not want to miss. Again, please make sure to make reservations. This place is always busy and does not disappoint. Everything in the menu is great, good collection of wine and the place is gorgeous. Great for family, business events or while wanting to impress your date. Okay here's the thing, I've heard about this place and their perfect sea food a lot , And I had a nice experience here. The oysters and truffles Parmesan fries were delicious. We also tried bone-in rib steak which was one of the best ones I've ever had. Grilled spring salmon was a little bit disappointing to me since it did taste like nothing! Even the salt was not enough. The interior design and ambience is nice. This restaurant is super vast with many spaces in all the corners. We tried the patio and it was an enjoyable experience.

Had a lovely birthday brunch here with my husband! We didn’t realize Saturdays was brunch only… but still food was still great! They were very accommodating to my dietary needs. Heidi our sever was outstanding. So kind and accommodating. She even brought us an extra dessert for my birthday with a cute custom chocolate! Very impressed by the service :)

I was told by my informant that this is John Cena's favourite restaurant in Vancouver, however...I CAN'T SEE HIM. 🖐👋✋ If you want the best fresh oysters in town, this is the establishment for you. Just make sure you go during happy hour so you can save 💸 as it can be pretty pricey. My friend and I ate here during happy hour and ordered mostly happy hour items. My friend did however order a steak which he thought was ok, but quite expensive. I really enjoyed the fresh oysters and I think I'll be coming here just for the oysters, the other items in the happy hour menu were pretty good as well but value could be a bit better. Service here is amazing. Our server was great, I forgot her name but she was friendly and provided good service. Overall, I would recommend this place to oyster lovers especially during happy hour. 🦪🍻

The service was exceptional as we enjoyed the patio at sunset. The sun was directly in our eyes, but the attentive waiter brought an extra umbrella to shield us from the glare. Our party of six ordered appetizers, steaks, and drinks, and everything was excellent. This restaurant stands out as the first place that prepared my steak exactly as I wanted it – medium rare, cooked to perfection. One of my friends ordered theirs rare and it ended up slightly overcooked, but they still found it enjoyable and were satisfied with their meal.

Tried out the 2022 Dine Out Vancouver menu at this place, ordered the steak dinner. One of the best steaks I had at a restaurant, I find that most places don’t rest the steak in room temperature long enough and instead cook it right out of the fridge. The middle ends up being too cold when I order it medium rare. But this one was perfectly cooked, perfect temperature in the middle, was very juicy and had a nice beefy flavour. Outside was perfectly grilled, nice colour and not burned. The potatoes were amazing as well, perfectly seasoned, crisp outer shell, soft inside. Tasted like the potatoes were boiled almost soft enough to be smashed potatoes, but instead they are partially smashed , then baked in the oven to give it a crispy outer edge. The dessert was amazing too, not overly sweet but the flavours were perfectly balanced.

Well this was a great experience. We were here for happy hour and tried several dishes. The sea food platter was very good and had a great selection. We also had fried crab and corn and the tempura prawns. Both were good but the tempura prawns were a little greasy. Finally we had the New England Clam chowder. Personally, I don't think clam chowder needs bacon but this worked. The atmosphere was great, this is no place for a quiet dinner but a great place for after work or to go with good friends. I recommend this restaurant.

Had gone for a quiet dinner as it was highly recommended by Tom Ford Store owner. One feels good when as a tourist good eating joints are recommended by the locals. Michael our server was so sweet, kind & helpful to suggest the best of the dish & wine. We ended up talking long as we were the last of the customers to leave. Stopped in for Happy Hour (3pm-5pm daily) and the food, service, and vibe were all spot on! First, our server was Norm and he was great! Personable and funny and checked in the perfect amount of times. He's the type of server that elevates your dining experience. I applaud the entire staff as their communication was great and they all worked together to handle a packed house very efficiently. Now onto the food. We did the Crispy Calamari, Truffle Parmesan Fries, Miso Glazed Short Ribs, and Joe's Chilled Seafood Platter. We closed it out with the Creme Brulee. The calamari was the best I've ever had. We ended out grabbing a 2nd order of those. Fries were tasty. The short ribs were so-so. Our favorites on the seafood platter were the scallop ceviche and the albacore tuna crudo. The prawns were some big boys as well. All of the seafood tasted fresh and the platter had great plating. The creme brulee was presented well and took a couple of hits to crack through the top which is expected. Amazing! Overall, the food quality, price point, and service puts this place at 5 stars for me.

We started with a selection of raw oysters, which were all very fresh and had a wide range of flavors from the East and West Coasts. The West Coast platter was a bit of a disappointment, however. The seafood was not as fresh as I expected, especially the lobster and crab, which were both lacking in sweetness. The bone-in ribeye steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare and was very flavorful. The pistachio ice cream for dessert was icy, but it had a rich, nutty taste. The service was excellent, our server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Overall, we had a very good dining experience, but I would have liked the seafood to be fresher.

The service was good Got seated right away on the patio and it was a hot day but the fan was blowing so it was super nice. The food was just okay. Got the salmon as the waiter said it was the most popular. It was good but that’s it nothing exceptional. The fried rice tasted like frozen rice just warmed up. The meal wasn’t bad but it was just okay. My friend got the salmon burger and loved it. I’d go back to try more things.

The marina view seating is class! Our server was attentive, and professional. I like that Cardero's makes it a point to clear appetizer dishes and replace the cutlery for the Main, but I'd recommend that they place the new cutlery on a small dish instead of smack down on the dining table where reused wiping cloths have been. We absolutely loved the fried oysters with house-made cocktail sauce, and the prawn sizzle for appetizers. Family loved their arctic char entrees while I thought the signature cedar plank salmon was Good. Great presentation and overall ambience. Would love to checkout the indoor dining room next time, but also wouldn't pass on the heated marina patio for a repeat experience!

We had a great experience with our friendly server Mark yesterday. The food were fantastic, seafood were absolutely fresh. The portions were okay, at least four of us were full. Highly recommend the Seaside Platter, definitely worth the price. Their patio is apparently popular, but if you like quite and chill space, take the indoor tables.

The food was good. And service was good. It gets very busy so book ahead. They have a great patio and some of the best seafood in town. I liked the half chicken and the tagliatelle pasta was excellent. The chocolate brownie dessert was great. The hummus was also really good but the hummus to pita ratio was low. Not enough pita. But we asked for more. They also have a great kids menu. Good value.

We had a good food experience in this restaurant. It’s right on promenade. There tables inside and outside, live music in the evening. The service is fast and the staff is friendly. It’s hard to get free table, you have to stay in a line. The food is delicious, especially seafood. We enjoyed it. Also there is a good range of different beer. IPA is delicious. The place is quite loud, clean. There is no parking lot. The prices are high.

Great restaurants with a beautiful architectural. The terrace is cover and they have a great heated system to keep you warm. The service was good. Food was great! The open kitchen concept is spectacular. I get some fresh raspberries point oyster and it was delicious. I like how the wine selection have a great amount of BC wine and have proudly Canadian product The view of the marina and the bay is beautiful.

Delicious food with beautiful harbor views! We had a reservation here and were sat right away. It was a VERY busy Sunday evening, but the service was still great! The appetizers and meals came out at a good pace. Everything that we ordered tasted fabulous and fresh. If you’re looking for a relaxed seafood restaurant with great outdoor ambiance, I highly recommend coming to Cardero’s!

I brought my dog to Stanley Park for a walk today, and while passing by this unique-looking seafood restaurant with a harbor backdrop, I thought of buying some small dishes to take for a picnic. The restaurant's staff said they usually don't do takeout, but she offered to inquire for me. Shortly after, a person who appeared to be the manager came out with a smile and asked me, "What would you like to order?" I ordered two appetizers, Signature Wok Squid and Fried Oysters. He also suggested that I could get a portion of steamed rice or fried rice to go along with them.I sat on a chair by the harbor and started tasting a few bites. Both the squid and oyster were very fresh, and the squid had a great flavor. Paired with white rice, it was just right. The dipping sauce for the fried oyster had a hint of orange sweetness, and it was delicious. I definitely need to go back to the restaurant, sit on that beautiful patio, and enjoy another seafood meal.

Really elegant,high end seafood restaurant, a lot space inside and outside, need to reserve the table 3 days early prior your appointment. Really fresh seafood, we ordered 6 different main dishes, all looked good, tasted perfectly, 4 desserts were worthy to try. The waitress who served our table is professional, she introduced herself to work this restaurant more than 10 years, and introduced the popular dishes to us. Always checked us any needs. I booked the dinner for my clients, they were all satisfied about everything that they received here. Strongly recommend to my friends in the future. Very suitable for business, company gathering , family and friends gathering. Won’t disappointed here.

Selected this venue for our final family dinner during my parents' visit, and it turned out to be the ideal setting for creating cherished memories with my loved ones. Benoit's exceptional service made the night much better. His expertise and pleasant demeanor were truly commendable. Food was also amazing! I would say seafood tower is for 3-4 people to share. I highly recommend this restaurant, particularly for special occasions.

Blue Water Cafe is amazing! Service is fast and attentive. Prior to coming here I never enjoyed seafood, but we decided to get the shellfish plateau and it was perfect for those who need an introduction to seafood on ice. They have a delicious house made ketchup that you must try! All the other food we got was also great. Looking forward to try more oysters and waygu here next time.

The best thing about this restaurant is the ambiance and the service: lights dimmed to focus on the people you are eating with. As for food, my mixed ceviche was tender but needed a little bit more of lime, you could tell the quality of the sea food was excellent but needed more acid to make it more interesting. My chicken, with potatoes, was a bit undercooked and under seasoned, it also needed to build more flavour. Overall, it was a good enough experience.

Went for dinner last night and was absolutely blown away by the service. While the food was amazing, the service was incomparable! My friends and I had the pleasure of dining with Tara and her colleagues and this was by far my best dining experience in the city (and I'm a local)! Tara was knowledgeable, attentive and just a pleasure to be around. From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted and never once did we have to try and seek her attention as she was always checking in. Any time someone left the table, her and her team were quick ensure settings and napkins remained tidy and presentable upon our arrival back. Tara explained the menu in detail and was quick to recommend food and beverage pairings that we were all pleased with. The food was beautifully presented, tasted great and everyone was satisfied. While I don't have photos of everything we ordered, the raw oysters were fresh and sweet, prawns were plump and juicy, and sashimi was fresh and paired with an in house soy sauce. I ordered the beef tenderloin and asked for it to be cooked between medium rare and rare and it was cooked to perfection. It was tender, seared crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. I also ordered the truffle fries as a side and will say you have to try them! Tara is a gem and I want to thank her and the staff for creating such a welcoming atmosphere that was paired with amazing food! I don't know how it took me so long to come here but can definitely say I will be back. Make your reservation now and thank me later!

Our waiter, Frankie was so wonderful. He came over when we needed him, yet didn’t bother us. He knew the timing of when do to everything and knew the menu so well. He recommended the most amazing dishes. We weren’t rushed at all, and the atmosphere was delightful. Very grateful for such a wonderful experience, will definitely be coming back here!

Awesome experience! This is a must go if you are looking for a high quality meal especially involving seafood and drinks! Chris was an excellent server and provided great info and recommendations on the menu. The bread rolls with the spread was nice (really liked the lentil based one). All the seafood was super fresh and high quality, and yes it was pricey, but really worth it for the experience.

Everything was phenomenal, but the sablefish was impeccable - the best fish we’ve ever tasted. It was cooked beautifully. In the past,the scallops and those are magnificent as well. I’m addition to the food, the service is professional and kind - we’re always well taken care of. I rarely give out five stars but this place never fails to impress us.

Celebrated a birthday dinner with my boyfriend and it was an impeccable experience! Antoine was a fantastic server, he was very knowledgeable and attentive at the right times. He answered all our questions and helped us choose oysters too. Best service I have ever experienced. Food was very delicious too!

A delicious dinner with excellent service from Liam. A great place to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The seafood plateau was a tasty appetizer sized just right for 2 people. Just love the special fork they have to aid diners with the assorted oysters, mussels, clams, and other tasty treats. The halibut was firm and juicy, and although the steak was medium rather than the medium-rare we requested, it was still juicy and very tasty. We didn’t leave much room for desert, so settled for tasty strawberry & raspberry lemon tarts. Highly recommended for a memorable night out.

Black and Blue in Vancouver is an exceptional dining choice. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and provided outstanding service throughout our visit. As a vegetarian, I was really surprised by how good this place was. The staff here is wonderful and super accommodating. The Mac and cheese sticks are a must! They are some of the best things I have ever eaten. They have a couple vegetarian entrees and I really enjoyed my pasta. My other favourite here was their cheesecake. I was blown away! The cheesecake is so light and airy, but so flavourful. They have also given a free dessert when I go there for a special occasion and this is always appreciated. I will be coming here many times over!

We had a great time here for our anniversary. The ambiance is so nice and the perfect place to go for a special occasion or when you want to do something a little fancy. Delicious food and really amazing service. Also definitely get the bread as an appetizer! Super soft and delicious and a huge portion! I had the steelhead and creamed potatoes which were both delicious.Of course it’s a bit pricey but that’s only to be expected in this style of restaurant so I would say it’s worth it.

Foods were great, I didn’t expect the portion to be big but we ended up having a lot leftover. Their salad and bread were good, the cheese sticks are the must try. Service is excellent, very quick and attentive. Not to mention the delightful cheesecake. I would highly recommend this restaurant

An incredible dining experience in downtown Vancouver. The name is a little misleading, we were expecting a rooftop restaurant from "The Roof" in the name but quickly got over it as the interior is beautiful with modern architecture and extremely comfortable seating. Service was flawless, drinks were cold and delicious. Most of all, the food was incredible. I had the Beef Wellington and it was cooked to perfection. Will definitely return the next time I'm in the city!

Celebrated my Birthday and must say it was one of the special ones. Whole credit goes to our server Michael who was phenomenal and made sure we were well taken care of! We sat on the rooftop and the Ambience was mesmerizing. We had Mushroom Rigatoni and the whole platter with Malbec which was topped off with Butter Cake Dessert. The food was just divine and so fulfilling. Definitely Recommended!

The food and service was stellar as always. We where celebrating my birthday and our Anniversary and you guys made the night very special. Lloyd was our server and he gave great recommendations for wine and meat selection. He also went into detail and even had a map of Japan his wife drew showing the regions and where the waygu comes from. We can't wait till we have a kid free night again so we can come back.

This is definitely one of the better steakhouses in Vancouver. The price although can be hard to absorb for an average night out, but this is definitely worth bringing people out for a special occasion. Food quality Prime rib 9.5/10 - just didn’t like the horseradish as it’s a very odd form that I have never had before but the prime rib itself was delicious. Porterhouse steak 10/10 - this was had rare and the cut and cook of it all was done to perfection Service was friendly and attentive throughout the experience. We found the food took a bit longer then usual to come out but otherwise it was a good experience. I’d definitely recommend this place for all the meat eaters out there :)

Me and my friend had a lovely time! The food was absolutely delicious and the Sangria is a must try! Our server was super nice too! She had pretty purple hair and was very attentive. Will definitely visit again. My only complaint - please make sure the washroom are clean, the women's washroom was filthy😅

Visited Italian Kitchen in April and tried their Truffle Spaghetti with meatballs. The food didn’t leave a lasting impression on me. Although the meatballs were juicy and flavorful, the truffle spaghetti was a bit plain and I expected more flavor from the truffle. While the restaurant had a nice design and attentive service, the food was only so-so.

A great experience from start to finish! The Chef, Mateo, came out of the kitchen and engaged with the customer often. He chatted with our table to get some insight on our food desires and also some friendly discussions. It is nice to see a chef who has enough confidence in his kitchen staff that he is able to come out of the kitchen. You don't see this very often. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the GM, who was very tentative, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Our server, Mikela, was very good and made our dining experience that much better. The 5 meals served to our table were all extremely tasty, the quality was a ten. The plating was spot on, and the flavours were amazing! Would I recommend the Italian Kitchen, yes, 100%! Just remember, you will pay for what you get, and it is quite worth every penny.

Had our anniversary dinner here this week. Cozy ambiance and quiet enough to carry a conversation. Most memorable dishes were the 20oz Prime Bone-In Ribeye (cooked perfectly) and the Charred Spanish Octopus antipasti. The Truffle Spaghetti and Meatballs were also delicious. We enjoyed their desserts as well.

This is a cool location on Burrard near the theatre. It’s got a sizeable spot with a good vibe and outdoor seating as well. The cocktails menu is not extensive versus some of their sister restaurants, but their bartenders are up to the task of making most cocktails. The service staff are very knowledgeable on their drinks, so that can be helpful if you know what you want to order. The food is decent, though I would say there are other Italian restaurants in the area with similar price ranges that are better. The portions are a bit small as well. Overall, this is a good place to grab a bite and drinks for a casual dining experience.

We had the cacao e pepe, lobster ravioli, Cesar salad, salmon sausage, steak and eggs. And an old fashioned to drink. Everything was excellent its really a beautiful restaurant. Also our serve Anna was wonderful. She is so kind and has an excellent knowledge of all the food items. She served us tableside cacao e pipe and it was very fun. Thanks again well be back soon

Currently they have lunch special during weekdays with three different pasta/risotto choices at $23 for one selection. An extra $8 for a starter salad. The serving size is decent. I order the mixed mushroom penni and it’s cooked perfectly al dente. The focaccia bread is soft and fluffy. Service is good. We sat outside in a partly sunny day so it’s lovely.

Came here for my boyfriends birthday. My first time here and I was very impressed by the great service, especially from our server Brad! The food was great, we started with prosciutto followed by the fettuccine bolognese and truffle spaghetti and meat balls, all 3 dishes were amazing and very filling. I definitely will be returning to Italian kitchen, although next time I will order less food so I don't get full too fast. Otherwise, great place and i would definitely recommend for anyone looking to have a delicious and affordable Italian night!!

We spent our anniversary here under the beautiful patio they have and the service was very personable and attentive. The food was delivered in a timely manner and it was really enjoyable. The patio was very nice and shaded and beautifully decorated with a floral ceiling arrangement!

Well when I learned that Don Francesco had changed locations and lost traction with new owners, I was relieved to know that it was replaced with dare I say an even better Italian restaurant. One of the few places that make a proper Carbonara (without cream). Table side Parmesan Wheel, add truffles, dine like a king here. Definitely not cheap but the perception of value is definitely present. Love this place.

I know life is extremely expensive these days, really, I know. The food I ordered was OK, but not as great as reflected in the price. Literally 1 fingerings potato, 1 asparagus, 1 broccolini and thin slices of veal that tasted like nothing beef or other. The tiniest portions are accompanied by hefty prices. The space is lovely! The service was wonderful! If the ingredients could be better and the prices adjusted a tad, this would be as wonderful as the old Italian kitchen.

When they are busy, you’ll hold the menu forever. It’s tasty, best calamari in Vancouver so far. I wish it would be more authentic wine, at least not Mission hill winery. Sprouts could be crispier, but salmon was good. Aperol not even sparkling - I’d say nothing authentic or Italian. But it’s tasty, great atmosphere and good service.
