Restaurant has amazing views of Toronto and the water! The entrance to the restaurant was a little longer than anticipated, most probably due to Spring break though we had reservations. Food was ok and a little pricey. Service was good and atmosphere very family oriented. If you eat at the restaurant, entrance to the skyline is free so you get the view from the restaurant and then from the skyline. Good place.

The wait was long and the windows were not cleaned so disappointing photo experience. When they take a photo and says it’s free, well it’s borderline a scam. Taking the photo was free but purchasing them costs 40$… seriously, if it was 20$ I’d pay for it… don’t like the baiting and the outrageous price. The kids and I loved the “downstairs” where there are the glass walking area. Glass were small and again not cleaned… and I would make it just in top of the Rogers Stadium it would have being a bliss! Well the part we loved was the big LED screen! Loved the themes and the different backgrounds! The staffs were funny and chilled with tourists so bravo for that!

Had an amazing time at the CN Tower restaurant.. Great view and great food. Our server George was especially great. He was kind, polite, and provided exceptional service. I would go there just to say hi! Definitely a great place for a date with someone special. If you haven't been already, your are missing out on a great attraction in the city! Please go!

Nice experience. Awesome view of Downtown Toronto, Old Toronto, and Lake Ontario. Can easily spend around 40 minutes including taking videos. Elevator ride is good. Better to arrive before 11 am to beat the rush and always precook the tickets. Or else the lines can stretch to half kilometers

Want to experience a new height and see as far as your eye can see, then this is the place. 👌 Had a great time here and the views were spectacular. 👌 Elevator ride is smooth and you get to the top in about a minute. The staff will take a picture of you on a green screen. Make sure not to lose that receipt they give you. This will help the staff to find your pictures upon your return down to ground level. When you come back down you can visit the kiosk there, where they'll have two pictures of you with the CN Tower and the city skylight (daytime & night time), and they are nice. Roughly $40 or so for both pictures and a digital download link for you to have on your computer, laptop, or mobile phone. My opinion, I thought it was worth it. There is also a nice gift shop and some of the stuff there is pretty reasonable, when it comes to price. I really enjoyed my time here. 😊👍

The view is breathtaking. I think it is good to visit it once. You will enjoy the panoramic view especially the lake side and watching the yachts and the planes taking off from the billy bishop airport..We took tons of amazing photos up there. You can go a lower floor and you can enjoy walking on the glass if you dare looking downstairs :) There was a large screens that create nice scenes so we took more photos infront of it It is good to book online so you can save waiting in the tickets line. BUT take care there are a lot of lines are waiting for you... Be ready to wait from 30 to 60 minutes... There is a line on every corner .. I see that they put some entertaining items to watch or read or even to talk photos with while waiting in the line.. They take photo for you and make some editing on it. Then while exiting you will have it printed out for you. But it will cost you $40 which I see that it is too expensive... When you finish your tour upstairs, be ready for another long line to take the elevator down...Then you will be directed to souvenirs shop. There is a couple of cafes and restaurants up there if you want to grab some snacks.. The overall experience was nice

I don't really care for walking tours, I find them quite boring and this made it no different. The views are amazing tho. I paid extra for the glass walk which was a waste of money, you aren't missing anything special. What made my experience worthwhile was the very sweet down to earth employee I met there. She captured everything I love about Canadians.

Love the CN tower. One of my favorite touristy spots to show around when friends and family come to visit. Great views of the Lake on one side and the downtown on other side. Also able to view the Billy Bishop airport with planes landing there often. Prefer to go during the night time to soak in the City lights but great views during the day time as well. Would recommend buying tickets online instead of standing in the line there.

This is a hugely overpriced tourist trap. We paid 190CAD for 2 adults and 2 children to go up an elevator to watch the view. And then to go up another elevator to watch the view from a bit higher. I mean I could read the reviews beforehand and watch online videos and it is definitely my fault that I went there so my bad. But you should beware about what this is. The kids did enjoy it. It is cool to watch the view. It is cool to stand on the glass floor looking down. But the price should be like one fifth at most. In case you have a lot of money and don't care, you should buy the tickets online but do it right there before entering so you can chose the correct time of entry (the tickets are timed). Choose the earliest time it lets you (even if it is already 10 minutes later) so that you can enter the earliest.

Terrific! You should definitely take the trip up to the viewing platform. The view and the feeling are indescribable. We bought a CityPASS beforehand and reserved our visit using the app. Everything online and easy. Inside the tower is also a gift shop and washrooms.

All seafood products were worth every penny!! Everything we got was super fresh and yummy as always. Best spot for fresh seafood and the fun atmosphere They will ship out the fresh seafood to your place for you. It isn't cheap but great quality seafood products and fresh vegetable. Have shipped it back a few times and love the tiger shrimp and oysters.

Interesting place, a lot of purchasing meat options. Good variety of sea food as well. Vegetarians, good luck!!.. there are a few pasta shops. The tomato sauce was tangy and delicious. Worth the the visit for first time Toronto visitors and folks purchasing meat.

This large marketplace exudes history, charm, and the classic Canadian story of hard work and fresh produce. The columns were easy to navigate, with bountiful arrays of cheese shops, delicatessens, meat, fruit, vegetables and seafood. The seating was scarce but spread throughout the marketplace and the air-conditioning made for a refreshing stroll in the summer. Be sure you check out downstairs where I'd recommend the Everyday Gourmet Coffee Espresso roastery which was probably the first place in Toronto I've visited which took its coffee seriously.

Top place! Went two days in a row to get the spinach and feta cheese bagel on the 1st floor. On a Sunday, they had music playing outside. Such a lovely atmosphere.

This is a very organized, clean and comprehensive marketplace where they sell fresh produce, meats, cooked foods, coffee, kitchen essentials and more. It is a joy to walk here even if you are not buying anything and they sell way more stuff than the usual supermarkets near you, premium cut, special cuts of beef, mutton, chicken etc. Prices here are a little higher, but freshness and variety is definitely better than what you get at supermarkets where they do sell stale meats or items that are not as fresh. There are a few specialty shops selling cheeses, fresh or frozen seafood, wines and they are really amazing. As a consumer, I might come here to buy special items, but given the price, I will be selective and look for offer fresh items elsewhere. Nonetheless, this place is pretty nice to walk around, look at fresh produce and meats and get inspiration for your next meal. P.S. Not everything is that expensive, they do have special offers now and then so keep a lookout and you might just find those hidden gems.

Cool place!!! So many options to choose from here. Indoor Venue reminds me of a local farmers market; indoors with 2 floors and with tons of vendors selling everything from meats, cheeses, syrup, seafood, souvenirs, various hot food options, desserts and more. Found a bunch of great options. My family grabbed lunch from various places. Crossed this spot off of our Toronto list. Happy we stopped for the experience. Note: I recommend more seating/dining options.

One of my favourite spots on the east end. It’s a beauty itself but I love all the fresh food variety you can find in this place. No matter what season, it’s always a great place. Love the quiet mornings there.

A big and exclusive market hall in two floors, with exquisite products. Here there are fish shops, butchers, charcuterie, vegetable shops, bakeries and pastries shops that offer high-quality products. I liked the different kinds of tomatoes. The honey store became my favorite. There were also a tea and coffee stores where you can find different kinds of coffee and tea.

A wonderful place to relive the past. It was quite interesting to see the old pics of the market way back in the 1880s...I was distracted by the history and the colorful shops displaying all kinds of fresh products. The covered market took me back to the New Market of Kolkata, India. Similar ser up and feel except that New Market is more sprawling. Must have some of the interesting food being sold there. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited the market with a group of 6 on a Thursday afternoon. Walked around and looked at all the inner shops and stands. Mostly fresh produce/fish/ingredients but also a handful of food/meal spots to choose from. We enjoyed a variety of dishes (pizza, oysters, Chinese food, meat pies, and pastries). Very clean and easy to navigate. Loved visiting this adorable market!

This place!! It has a whole different vibe. You can get fresh and organic grocery, souvenirs, cloths, international products and so much more. Prices are comparatively high but there are some shops which accept cash, saving you some tax. Must visit, even if you just want to stroll around. Don’t forget to check out shops under ground level.

Fun place, with lots of good food. The shop or stall keepers are very nice and we loved what we picked (some pastries since we were on a tour and wanted something easy to eat). There's at least 1 ATM machine (bring some cash because some vendors only accept cash) and several washrooms, which were clean and not with a lot of people.

It is absolutely amazing, you can spend a whole day in the museum. It has different sections of historical ages from all over the world. You can see many things from different civilizations. I loved the geology part. You can find brilliant minerals and stones. It is one of the best museum I have ever seen. Highly recommended to visit.

I visited here yesterday, haven't been to this museum in a long while because I live out of town, but it was well worth the trip! I recommend buying tickets in advance. This museum has 4 floors, and offers something for everyone's taste in history, and culture. Beautiful exhibits, artifacts, and so much history preserved. My favorite galleries are Europe, ancient Greece, Rome, Evolution of Style, Earth's Treasures, Biodiversity Life in Crisis. I checked out the T-Rex Special Exhibition Gallery, and it was pretty cool learning about the Evolution of the T-Rex, and also its bloodlines. Great artifacts on display. I recommend you plan a whole day here if you want to see everything. They have a nice Cafe here, and a sitting area. The Cafe offers coffee, cakes, and other sweets. The staff were amazing, and knowledgeable when asked any questions. I highly recommend this establishment for a nice day out, to explore history, and culture's around the globe.

I’ve been twice now and have had no regrets. what you miss the first round you can catch the second. We used the Toronto city pass which was well worth it price wise. We didn’t worry about parking because we walked from our accommodations. This place is HUGE with something for everyone. I loved all the exhibits on display, lots of information and a lot to look at. The human era was my favourite, I loved seeing the animals and the way things progressed through time. A lot of the skeletons are real or contain real fossils which is absolutely mind blowing. We didn’t eat here though the food options looked nice at the cafe. You are able to leave and come back the same day as many times as you want with your tickets which is great. I recommend 4 hours minimum if you’re someone who likes to digest what you see. There is a LOT. Loads of cultural historical pieces. It’s honestly like art work at times. We didn’t interact with staff at all as there was digital scanners for entry. It’s VERY clean. Highly recommend.

I visited ROM last weekend and it was a great experience. This is one of the best museums if you want to learn about history and different cultures. The museum has different sections for Asia, Africa, America, Egypt and Europe cultures. Also don't forget to visit the minerals and gems section you will be amazed. Highly recommended to visit. It will take a full day to go through the exhibits so be prepared for it.

It was great! Lots of exhibits. Progress is being made at the First Peoples Gallery, but more can always be done. I appreciated the the ability to give feedback online, and the box to leave offerings of tobacco or other gifts. The other exhibits are stunning! I felt like a kid again going through the early life and dinosaur exhibits. I also learned a lot in the natural life areas. All the staff I (briefly) spoke with were extremely helpful and respectful. I can't wait to go back to see and learn more!

Amazing collection that showcases all different types of history from prehistoric ti modern times, the museum has it all. Everything is extremely well maintained and the museum is easy to navigate. Several other tourist areas I have been to have had poorly maintained restrooms and few amenities but the ROM is fantastic 👌. Highly recommend you check it out, whether you have kids or not it is a great place to go spend the day.

Loved the experience. So much to explore here. It's well managed and the artifacts are presented Very well. History seems well preserved with great literature to showcase all the relevance. My favorite section was where they have showcased the dinosaurs, everything on display is so well kept, the information beside every item is great and has that awe factor when you look at the displays.

Great place to see and learn about cultures around the world. The gem collection is very interesting and educational. The dinosaur exhibition is amazing, kids and adults can enjoy it a lot. Very complete and a lot of information. Across all exhibitions there are textiles you can appreciate and study. Definitely recommend but if you like museums it might take a whole day for you to see everything with detail and enjoy.

I recently visited the museum and was thoroughly impressed by the diverse range of historical collections from various countries. I absolutely LOVED the ROM! What a fantastic museum, filled with so many different exhibits and displays from various parts of the world. It was very cool to see the work they’ve recently done on the 2nd floor in the biodiversity area, especially for the kids. I wish however that they would update the displays in the second floor’s European Wing to have artifacts and paintings be numbered (similar to how they had it in Greece/Egypt), so that everyone can get an idea of where each item is from. As well, it was so cool to see the downstairs part of the museum be turned into a wedding reception for that evening! Loved seeing the couple be able to take photos in the museum, too! Really beautiful! Please go, spend all day (you’ll need it) and enjoy! Lots of amazing things to see. If you’re a student bring your card as well, discounted rate applies!

The ROM is World Class, all the way! Better then any of the Smithsonian in Washington DC. It is really a natural history and art & culture museum rolled into one! I only spent a few hours here, however you could come here for days and still be able to take in everything. I would recommend visiting the museum website in advance and prioritize what collections you want to see. Some rooms are going to be more busy then others based on the content. Lots of child friendly exhibits, ask the curators as to which ones are best suited for children. I bought the city pass in advance. NOTE: For the city pass the museum does require you to pick a day of visitation in advance. The city pass made it easy to access the museum. I recommend a visit to the geology collection. Some of the biggest geodes I have ever seen!

I always have such a wonderful time at the ROM. They have lovely regular exhibits and special exhibits running at all times. It’s very clean and organized. It’s very family friend and also a good adult spot. The gift shop is expensive. I recommend bringing lunch and snacks to eat while you’re here - the museum is very large and can take a long time to get through!

There just isn't enough time to see everything in one day... But it's worth the effort! One could literally spend a half day or more just on the bottom free area... And we practically did. The Chinese, Korean, and Japanese displays were AMAZING! The amount of Buddhist history contained here is just wonderful to take in. Some of our other family favorites were the free kids crafts, dinosaurs, the bat cave, and the Egyptian collection. General admission is definitely worth it just for the ancient civilizations collections on the third floor. We also did the special exhibit (T-Rex) and didn't find it worth the extra cost. The exhibit was alright but didn't really engage any of us (though there were some cool sculptures of T-Rex at various stages of life and even a baby tyrannosaur to see at the beginning of the exhibit). Unless you are a die hard dinosaur enthusiast, it can probably be safely skipped. The gift shop was also a bit of a let down as, though it's an incredibly nice looking and well kept gift shop, it didn't really have anything that is of the museum besides a few black shirts and hats that say ROM and nothing else (was looking for, perhaps, local photographers pictures of exhibits for sale, local artist renditions of the building or exhibits, or anything really that we could take home instead of random stuffed animals that didn't have anything to do with anything in the museum, random books, and random jewelry). The Egyptian collection is very well curated and the amount of wooden sculptures is staggering. The sarcophagus area is awe inspiring and the displays are beautifully built and house the pieces without distracting from them. All in all, the ROM is a must see in Toronto!

So much to see at the Royal Ontario Museum! The architecture is also unique-combination of ancient and modern. Best way to experience it is to plan beforehand the exhibits you are going to see. If not, can be quite overwhelming. If going with children do not miss the bat cave! Take note there is free entry for the ground level floor for many months of the year. The Chinese and Asian art here is enough for a museum visit.

This was a great experience... very cool castle estate. Gardens were cool. Historical write-ups for the rooms, a horse stable, antique car museum, and a Back Stage Celebrities walk, which has little scenes with (wax?) statues and clips playing for all of the movies that were recorded at the castle. Loved it! I wasn't quite as excited about the 3rd floor, but if you are into military history, you would love it. Getting up to the tower was awesome, too.

This place was amazing! So much rich history! Loved it! My son got lost and he asked someone who worked there to help him and they kept him safe until we were able to find him! The staff were so friendly! There is a cafeteria and a fancy restaurant as well! They sold ice cream outside the entrance! Seriously the castle was beautiful!

A very interesting villa, like an European castle. There is an audio guide in several languages ​​that you can easily use and listen to on your own cell phone. If you want to see all the rooms and hear all descriptions, you would have to plan many hours (around 3-4 hours). The rooms are beautifully designed and let you dream. Wonderful view from the Towers and Terrace.

Truly a beautiful space! It's a Gothic Revival style mansion and house museum with beautiful grounds during the summer. I can imagine weddings at this place! To get to the highest levels you have to take some very narrow stairs and if you are able to, it's totally worth going to the top. You will see amazing views of the surrounding areas! Can't wait to return here someday when things are back to normal, or as close to normal as possible!

This castle is an amazing historical place and it is kid friendly. It is an iconic place in Canadian history. The castle is dated a couple of centuries back and it showcases the dwelling of the wealthy in the olden days. The inside has beautiful displays / exhibits of historic events all throughout the castle. It is massive in size and beauty. The castle also contains some other fun activities like a haunted house, a celebrity wax display, and even an escape game. The basement has movie posters for movies / shows then castle has been featured in, and even has a screen showing the scenes and rooms they’re using in the media. There is a very cool underground tunnel that spans approximately 800 feet that goes out to the stables which is fun to walk through. The outdoor area closes at 3PM, so try to go out to see the garden and view. Parking is available onsite for $15. If you are a lover of history and also are a fan of beauty and architecture this a wanderlust of a site to visit.

Loved it. They have audio guides that you can listen on your phone. Bring headphones to listen to them more comfortable. Doing the audio guide makes it much more interesting and every spot turns out to be fascinating. We spent there 3 hours and only completed 2 floors. There’s a lot to watch and learn.

I would encourage everyone to make an effort to visit only castle in Toronto. Last time I visited was 26 years ago, what’s a different this time. Castle has been updated and more rooms put back to original setting and renovated. We walk all over castle and mostly all floors and basement opens now plus stables and garage to see old cars. Since it’s Halloween 🎃 season they created a wonderful Halloween theme and showing. Now, they have a high end’s stakes house restaurant opens Saturday only, I was told is one of the best, we looked at menu and it’s pricey but I guess it will be worth it. I’m little bit disappointed with garden and was taking over by too many buildings. Paid Parking is little bit challenging, the do have parking on site but you need to get their early or use public transportation. Overall we spent good family time unfortunately we didn’t stay after sunset to see night lights this will be for next time.

This was our first visit to this attraction we tried to make a day out of it and were fairly successful. The weather really prevented us from touring the grounds though. I would say it takes around 4-5 hours to explore the entire place. We really enjoyed touring, going up to the towers (spiral staircases!!!!), and enjoying a bite to eat in the cafe. A must do is to watch the film in the basement theatre which sits in what would have been the swimming pool. There could have been more placards with more information. The third flour exhibit might not be for everyone but it was interesting. I would not recommend bringing children, just doesn’t seem suited for them when everything says “don’t touch or sit”. The staff were not that plentiful and the ones we spoke to were polite albeit not very interactive, as if this was just a “job” to them. The friendliest person was the cafe host. The food was excellent! Overall a good experience but an attraction that could be next level with some more attention to the end experience.

The place was amazing. Last time that I was in here was when I was a child. Everything changed a lot! The guy at the front collecting tickets was super nice! And answered all our questions. Our favorite was getting to climb the stairs all the way to the top floor! We wish the secret garden was open. I heard lots of good things about it. We also loved the celebrity rooms. It keeps on running through my mind on what if Casa loma did an overnight thing where they turn off all the lights and everyone used a flashlight. That will be amazing. Maybe do this for Halloween? We will be back for sure!

Beautiful! Better than expected! I thought it was going to be just "another museum " but once you get to the tunnels it gets more exciting. The towers are impressive, can't imagine the fun people who do the escape games have at this place!

Very grand and majestic castle-style mansion in midtown Toronto. It was bit smaller than I had expected after reading other reviews on how big the place was and how much time I should allocate for the visit. The interior/architecture was very impressive and the skyline view of Toronto from the tower was great. Also, gorgeous and lush garden surroundings!

It was very busy when I was there on a Monday. The museum is incredible, but it can be hard to navigate the crowds. There are many small rooms, hallways, staircases and it becomes very cramped. I would absolutely suggest checking it out, but be aware that it's a huge place that takes hours to come close to seeing the entirety of. I wouldn't suggest it for families with small children, because of the small stairways, fragile decor, and lack of kids activities. Overall, it's a beautiful and interesting place. A great way to spend the day. It would be five stars if it weren't for the crowds.

A beautiful escape into an experience one is bound to never forget. There are so many rooms and levels filled with intricate and gorgeous details. The castle itself is a beautiful generational architecture with some of the best views of downtown Toronto from above. It's as if you've been transported into an old-timey Hollywood movie castle (X-Men's mansion scenes were all shot here and that was a surreal experience to witness). The Halloween tunnel was also an incredible highlight of fun spooks and scares. The mini car museum was also cool and the wax museum was a really interesting experience. Overall anyone living in Canada or visiting, they should never leave without coming here.

The experience was okay. If there were more animals to see, it would have been better. Spent around 5 hours and walked the entire complex and just saw less than 15 animals. But the experience was good. Oh, also, the staff was very knowledgeable. They explain things very well. If there's a way to find which animals are there ahead of time, it'll be better, I guess.

Get a 20% discount on admission when you give them your presto card seems like a better option than buying online/in advance if you don’t mind a little bit of a wait. Had a fun 5 hours and 20000 steps in. There were a few animals off display because it was too hot out. Would recommend bringing lunch, snacks, and a refillable water bottle. There are a bunch of benches to eat at and water refill stations. Their signage and map was easy to navigate. They also had fun facts and other signs which were educational and nice if you take the time to read.

The zoo is a fun place for families and friends. Wear comfortable walking shoes, stay hydrated and have fun. There is lot of food and drinks on sale throughout the 700 acres of land. There is adequate parking. Lots of picnic areas, washrooms and vending machines throughout. It's definitely worth it to buy your tickets and parking online to avoid the lines. When it's too hot, the animals tend to stay in their enclosure or just lie around. Still always a great place to spend time with the family.

The Toronto zoo is a really nice place to spend time in nature. We went there with family and had a great time. We actually started with a nice cheese pizza at the first stop of the hop on- hop off 😉. The exhibits of animals were really nice. One sad thing was to see animals in confinement do not augur well for me 😢. But the saving grace was that animals were taken well care of . The Hop On- Hop Off train rides to each of the sections were really good. They explained the family chain of animals and the history of the zoo which was fabulous. Overall a very well spent day.

The zoo is vast and boasts a wonderful environment. Both the admission fee and the food prices inside are very reasonable. It's an ideal place for families, friends, and couples to take a leisurely stroll. To explore the entire zoo on foot, expect to spend at least four hours. While they do offer a mini-train ride, it covers just a short distance and ultimately brings you back to the starting point. Some areas are available for rental, which might make it feel a bit commercialized, but aside from that, everything else is commendable. It's a perfect spot for a weekend outing or springtime excursion.

Ensure to have an entire day free & if possible get in early to stroll around all the regions of the zoo. Ample parking space and charges are additional to the ticket. It's a good place for children to enjoy their time as well as learn about animals from various geographical areas. Stroller accessible, also has rentals available. Clean washrooms in America's and has food joints as well as picnic spots every few meters. They have a wide variety of animals in the Eurasia & Canadian domain, but others just had a few of them. Huge space, could have been used more effectively.

Had a fabulous time! So hard to choose a favourite area. It was so well laid out and really a great time. We had fantastic weather, which of course helped, but there's a lot of indoor exhibits, so if it rained we would have been fine too. Oh and we rented a stroller, which was a great idea! And the gift shop was not overpriced and had really nice items.

We had a great visit! The park was accommodating to people with disabilities and children. The layout was excellent to walk with good shoes and a child in a stroller. We saw most exhibits, zipping around in a condensed timeframes, since we traveled 2.5 hours from home. There were also plenty of shaded areas to rest and pavilions to have lunch or a snack. The animals were very visible in almost all enclosures. The new boardwalk through the wooded area is well crafted and the wooded canopy is a sight of it's own. Last time I had visited the snow leopard was coming soon and what a beautiful big cat to see. Make sure to see the camel's and the newest baby camel born this spring 2023... was only 2 weeks old today - so cute and worth going to visit this summer to see this baby grow. The gorillas were very entertaining and exciting to watch! Hippos were playful! My daughter is about 1 and a half and she was very engaged with learning animals in real life and sight seeing. This time of year there weren't many mosquitoes as well - loved it!

It's fun for little kids and a great educational space to learn about various animals around the world. Maybe it's the time of year we went, not too many animals are out on display. There's some nice boardwalks and pathways throughout that make for a scenic walk. Definitely a good way get steps in! It was raining for half of the day so the zoo wasn't too crowded which is what I prefer. Will be back for special events.

Bravo Toronto Zoo, for all you do to make us humans remember and appreciate how amazing other species are. The animals look healthy and comfortable in this world-class zoo. My fave this time was the orangatang mom and baby. The staff are great too: I got talking with a zookeeper scooping up goat poop and she was so fun to talk to, happily telling us the observations she's made in the poop of different animals. If you're the parent of a teenager, the zoo is a great way to unplug them for a whole day and give them lots of exercise. My teens just loved bringing a friend and being turned loose in here. They did the WHOLE zoo while I could explore more slowly myself. The flowers and landscaping are beautifully done. There is room for improvement on the signage coming into parking. It needs to be more clear, both on Google Maps, and on site. Also, cleanliness of the washrooms near the gate seems to be an issue.

We love the zoo! I love learning all about the animals from the volunteers. They have a wealth of knowledge! It is so big so I recommend getting a membership so that you can see it all slowly. It’s such a great way to spend a big part of your day outside. Lots of picnic tables to choose from. I love how there’s lots of fun “playground” areas for the kids everywhere.

Super fun! They have such a variety of animals with big cages! Great family's, friends,field trips and more! They have food in a lot of places, pretty pricey but still good. They teach you a lot here and keep you happy! Great experience and just so fun! Great for all ages! Loved the polar bear💙

It is always a great experience to take my kids to visit the zoo, whether in summer, fall or even winter. Very entertaining, educational and informative for everyone! The new addition of the arctic wolf, young and playful cheetahs and a small waterfall show you how the zoo is still working hard to attract visitors while we all miss the elephants and giant pandas.

The zoo is a fun place for families and friends. Wear comfortable walking shoes, stay hydrated and have fun. There is lot of food and drinks on sale throughout the 700 acres of land. There is adequate parking. Lots of picnic areas, washrooms and vending machines throughout. It's definitely worth it to buy your tickets and parking online to avoid the lines. When it's too hot, the animals tend to stay in their enclosure or just lie around. Still always a great place to spend time with the family.

Organized a corporate event at the Zoo for 500+ guests and it went amazingly. The catering company was really good and was able to accommodate some dietary restrictions very well. They were even have scooters for rent for mobility challenges people like me which I appreciated very much as our picnic site was VERY far from the entrance, but otherwise a great time was had by all

I visited the Toronto Zoo with my wife over the weekend, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! We decided to buy our tickets online and went there before the zoo opened, I highly recommend doing so because there was no wait time at all – we just walked right in. The Toronto Zoo is a fantastic place to spend a day. The variety of animals and the attention to their natural habitats is impressive. I particularly enjoyed the capybara exhibit – those adorable creatures stole my heart! The overall atmosphere was peaceful, and it felt like we were surrounded by nature. The zoo’s dedication to conservation and education is evident, and I appreciate their efforts to make the world a better place for animals. I can’t wait to visit the Toronto Zoo again in the future. It’s a perfect place for a day of fun and learning for all ages. If you haven’t been yet, make sure to check it out – you won’t be disappointed!

Food was very good! We got the 2 course meal and the lamb shank was delicious and fall-off the bone tender. Portion sizes were perfect - not too small or too large. Prices were a bit expensive, but quite reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients, the location, and the amazing view! I do wish the service was more attentive however - when I asked to order dessert unfortunately the waiter never got back to us. However this was a very memorable experience and I will definitely come back in the future on special occasions:)

Fantastic place for a dinner with a view!! We had a great time here. Food was good but this is all about the experience. If you have the opportunity do not leave Toronto without having a meal here especially during the evening. Prices are reasonable if you include the free ride up. Service was very attentive and friendly. Absolute highlights of our three week trip.

A place to experience at least once, the 360 views are beautiful especially during the evening/night. I actually did not expect the tower to be that tall to be honest. It is fine dining so it is expensive, so be prepared to spend a lot! An entree + appetizer is typically $75+. The food was better than I initially expected, delicious but nothing very special. The 45 aged steak was probably my favourite if you are looking for recommendations. The service was good and attentive, however one of our servers was quite rude so I am taking off one star for that. Otherwise, it was a fun experience. I recommend coming here at least once for the experience!

Awesome experience at 360 The Restaurant at the CN Tower. It was a great Winter day with sun and warm weather (relatively), the wind was a cool add-on, made it all more exciting (howls and other noises). The 360 Restaurant (rotating restaurant with a 360° view) was a good deal considering that for 30 dollars on top of the entrance fee, you can get a two course dinner too, plus an extra impressive view of Toronto in the rotating 360 Restaurant. Our son requested a visit to the tower so we thought it'd be great to add a dinner there at the restaurant with a great rotating view of impressive Toronto, so it was. Added a birthday cake to the order and reserved a week before (it's a good idea to do so, it is a busy restaurant, I do not think you can just walk in in these COVID times). Service was among the best we've had around the world and certainly the best in town to date. Waiters were super attentive, fun and kind, way beyond your normal attention, this made the event all the nicer. We had a clear day with sun, blue skies and then clouds and rain in the distance too, with a sunset and very clear air for a winter day, so even that was superb. The food was excellent, both kids enjoyed their meals and my wife liked her dishes too. I liked mine too, wasn't the best salmon, but was fine enough to enjoy and considering the rest of the ambiance, there is nothing to complain about. The birthday cake (a small one for 4) was more than enough for us and we even took 1/3 back home with us despite having double servings. Very much a lifelong memory experience for your kids and yourself too. Yes, not a tour you can include in your budget every weekend, but once a year or two, it can be done. Very recommended, don't miss the opportunity if you are in town, or haven't tried the 360 Restaurant before before. For those that live in TO, there is no reason not to go there at least once a year. :-)

Great experience marred only by a mediocre steak. The rest of the food we had was good though! I highly recommend coming here. Since CN Tower tickets alone are normally $40, paying $75+tax&tip per person is a pretty fair deal to get a two course meal with an amazing rotating view (and a more exclusive elevator to the top). Our server Jeremy was great as well!

This is a must-do while in Toronto. The view is exceptional, especially at night. We ordered the Prime rib which was an extra charge. The food came out fast but was a bit rubbery and not the kind of 1 inch thick prime rib I am used to eating. It obviously was pre-prepared. You are required to spend at least $75 CAD per person, which is fine (that's the price of a two-course meal) for the view alone. Our bill for two was $265 CAD due to getting the Prime Rib, and Ice wine (2 oz for $24). The waiter was very nice. Afterward you can go to the observation deck one floor below and take in the views.

My husband and I had a fantastic time enjoying a meal at the 360 restaurant. We enjoyed the restaurants service as well as the amazing view, which was constantly different due to the turning of the restaurant. Definitely recommend to anyone who has the time for a view and a decent meal. It was about $200.00 for the two of us. We had beef cheek meal. With desert as well as sourdough bread 🍞 and then 2 alcoholic beverages. We were quite happy.

Well, obviously everyone has a different experience and generally it depends on a lot of factors! Our experience was phenomenal! Anywhere pointed, it was simply outstanding! Scenery, food, service! Impeccable! Justin and another guy (unfortunately didn’t fully catch his name, so I apologize for misspelling it -Nazam) were awesome! You also get to go to the observation deck after dining! Highly recommended overall!

I had a lovely time! The food was good, the portions were very generous and the service was excellent. We got the three course meal and bottle of house red, and were very full and happy when we left. The lamb (pictured) is very tender and absolutely massive. I barely finished it. The observation deck is lovely but I actually preferred the views from our dinner seats, less crowded and the staff are more than happy to take your photo. I definitely recommend 360 for special occasions, or if like us you need to break up the monotony of the pandemic.

Overall had a great time here. Make sure you are ahead of your reservation. Between security, checking in, waiting and riding the elevator, it will take a bit of time. Food was good. Everything tasted great but nothing unforgettable, especially for the price. That being said you're not pay just for the food. The best part and what makes the restaurant stand out is the view. You get a great view of the city and Lake Ontario. The revolving floor makes it even better. The services was top notch. Honestly can't think of anything I'd improve. Server was quick, attentive, assisted with the menu and was always there exactly when we needed him. Excellent place for a memorable night out to celebrate an event.

It's obvious that the view from this rotating restaurant is the best view in Canada. The food was pretty good but not 5 star and definitely overpriced. $45.00 for a (3) shrimp cocktail is a bit much and read the fine print on the two and three coarse meals. However, our server was great. He was very helpful with the selections and made us laugh. We really enjoyed our time here.

Went for a birthday celebration. Couldn’t stop staring out of the windows because of the view at night. Toronto looks very pretty from this high. The food was good, especially the dessert. Service was warm and responsive. Be ready for wait times and for spending a lot of money on a two-three course dinner.

All of our food was delicious! The duck wings were fantastic! They were sweet and salty and had a wonderful flavour! The mussels were very tasty! Overall we had a stellar experience here! It is expensive, but you have an amazing view that is constantly changing. Fantastic food! Our waiter was very kind and had been working there for 20+ years! He definitely added to a wonderful birthday celebration!

Cool place to hangout with friends and all.Beer variety is good and has unique taste. I liked the temperature at which beer was tapped to glass. Neither too much chilled nor warm. Tried fish n chips and a burger. Both were very tasty and fresh too. Space is ample and service is also quick. The choice of music played was also nice. Ambience is very good. A place to come back again !

We've been there at the first time a week ago. It's a good place, the envinronment is welcome, people are kind. I would not say that the burger is the best one that I've already tasted, but it's a good one. Four stars for service because we had to ask 3 times for the bill. I believe that's a place you should go, specially if you get a table in from of the lake. Beautiful view.

My wife and I had a Sunday lunch at Amsterdam Brewhouse. Most outdoor tables were filled, but we got a shady table on the upper back deck. Our food arrived quickly and was delicious (though my fries were not fresh). Our server was nice enough, but was definitely "on island time". I had to request our check about 20 minutes after we finished eating. But the brisket sandwich is killer, and I enjoyed my Space Invader IPA. You cannot beat the harbor views too.

Come here for the beer, but don't come for the food. Kinda defeats the purpose of a Brewhouse. I ordered the "12hr smoked brisket". It was the absolute worse brisket I've ever had. I even asked if the kitchen can slice me from the point (fatty part). But I guess the dish is set. Got a half slice from the point, and the rest was from the flat. They disguise the brisket with a ton of mediocre BBQ sauce. All I could taste was the sauce. Brisket itself lacked flavor and smoke. Flat was so dry it felt like chewing beef jerky. That's not it. Our table all agreed their food was terrible. The pizza was soggy. Surprisingly coming out of a wood fired oven, you'd think it would be better. The kitchen definitely lacks skill. Take a look at the pizza pic. It has some mismatched slices. Hopefully it wasn't left overs from other people's pies. Yikes! Hopefully Royal Unibrew will improve this place. It's a shame cause it's in such a prime location.

Really nice spot waterfront! We went on the weekend and there was a big line at the door but it went fast. We ordered guacamole and some sweet potato chips, the guacamole was good but not the best we’ve had, the sweet potato chips were really good. The staff is friendly and the space is well decorated. Overall it was a good experience and a spot that we recommended going to relax and enjoy the view if you stay on the deck.

Hey folks, a quick note about the washroom: it'd be great if the washroom, especially the ladies', could get some attention in terms of cleanliness. My visit in July left me a bit disappointed as it was quite dirty and the floor was a bit sticky. Put that aside, this spot undeniably holds its own as an iconic location at Toronto Harbour, offering a prime lakeside view. The spacious layout provides a variety of seating options, fitting perfectly to various occasions - be it group gatherings, romantic dates, or simply unwinding during travels. Their "Take a Flight" beer samplers are an absolute hit - three house-brewed beer collections to choose from. Definitely a highlight not to be missed. In terms of food, they offer a commendable variety of options. But considering my restroom encounter, I'm just hoping the same attention extends to the kitchen's cleanliness. What makes this place special is it’s location. Situated right across Harbourfront, the views from this place are immaculate. It is perfect for a date day/night, a family gathering or a friends day out. They make their beer in-house which is amazing and have plenty of seating area, inside, patio and the deck. I would like to add that their menu is pretty limited and I would rate the food a 3.5/5.

Came in on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and decided to sit on the patio. Had about 10-15 min wait to be seated as it was getting quite busy. Service was good. The selection of beer is good and if you’re an ipa lover this is a place to try. The ambiance Is wonderful if you’re coming on a date or group of friends. The food is good for a brew house however, the ratios in the smoked brisket sandwich are off. Not enough meat however, a nice amount of tenderness and decent flavour. Pricing is average however, I’d say it’s definitely bank for buck. Will return again to try some new things!

The staff are very friendly with my 2 dogs. They offer water bowl for the dogs. You are definitely paying a premium price for the view. Food is mediocre, and not much choice if you don’t eat carbohydrates. Beer is cold and have a good range to select from. But that day they have 2-3 kinds out of stock. A bit disappointing. Also, they should improve the waiting area cleanliness. When you stand in line to get it, you are standing at the dumpster room.

Delicious meat but dry bun. Overall good food and drinks. We got the beef brisket sandwich with the flight of beer. We heard that the sandwich tastes better with brioche buns. Great atmosphere! Recommend if you want decent food by the water.

The Brisket Mac & Cheese was PHENOMENAL! The Southwest Pizza was quite good as well! Great food! Great view! Service was okay. Not really that friendly. When taking my seat, I got brushed/pushed by a worker which was not acknowledged. I do have a disability due to a car accident and that was not something anyone would know by just looking at me, however, I do take my time and I believe the worker could have been a bit more patient. Anyhow, I would definitely visit again for the food and the views!

This place is absolutely amazing - the food is first class, the service is great, the atmosphere is soulful. The duck liver pate 🦆 is mind blowing - the combination with dried strawberry and strawberry sauce is something you must try! The brioche, that accompany the pate, Is delicious itself 😋 the menu changes every 3-4 weeks, so, don't hurry up with the burger - it's been in the menu for 10 years and will not disappear 😉

So glad we tried the tasting menu tonight. Fresh and quality ingredients. We love the duck liver pate with strawberry puree, seared yellowfin tuna, braised chicken terrine, dry aged rib eye with oyster mushroom and the black forest cake the most. Friendly service and non pretentious. Highly recommend this restaurant in the heart of downtown Toronto.

Had amazing dining experience at Richmond Station. The food was thoughtfully prepared using seasonal ingredients and offers amazing flavor. The menu offerings rotate every season and I had the pleasure to try the halibut and the ravioli, both were sensational. The service is impeccable and I really applaud the restaurant's approach of not asking for gratuity (or tips). It's great knowing the food were priced fairly and includes the cost of service. Highly recommend this spot and looking forward to visiting it again!

My mother and I came to Richmond Station this past Saturday. I had read so many great reviews about it, and it truly did not disappoint. The food was expertly prepared, and the service was amazingly delivered. We were impressed with every dish we got with the Chef's Tasting Menu. I was so sad when it was over and we had to leave, but I will 100% be back to try more of their food. Kudos to you all, you made our visit a true experience and not just another restaurant outing!

This was a wonderful eating experience. I suggested it to my boss and we were both thoroughly impressed. The service was very attentive and knowledgeable about each dish, the presentation was very beautiful, and a very wide variety of dishes were served. The pork was outstanding in particular, and they are well known for serving an entirely fresh made burger including in house butchered beef. I was really excited to eat here with a top chef winner running the place, and I was very happy with the experience. Be sure to consider the chef's table if you want to be front and center watching the kitchen operating. We will both be returning again with friends and family.

the service was amazing! the lady was so patient with our large group (Robyn). Some of the food items were delicious and I wish there were more cocktail options. The station burger was a great choice as well as the chickpea panisse! what was most refreshing was at the end they didn’t expect a tip because it was included in the bill! I really appreciated this!

Our friend recommended this place to us, and we loved it! We ordered a bunch of appetizers and an entree, and the waitress coursed them out for us. We started with a tuna, which is a strong start. And then we had some corn soup and salmon with chips paired with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. In the end, we had the duck as entree with a glass of local red wine. The duck is amazing and my favorite dish for the night!

Great food and fantastic service make Richmond station a must try in Toronto. At first I wasn’t sure if there “gratuity included” idea would still translate to good service, but I was thankfully wrong. All our servers seemed to genuinely love the work and were knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. Food was great, and what you’d expect for a place of this price range. The burger is a must.

My partner and I dined here today for our anniversary dinner and it was amazing. Our server was well versed on the menu and she took care of my dietary restrictions. We went for the burger and lobster macaroni and they were both delicious. The ‘farmers ricotta’ starter and ‘white chocolate tart’ for dessert were also really tasty. I highly recommend this fine dining experience and we look forward to visiting again.

Went for the tasting menu and sat at the chef's table area. Really great service from start to finish. The staff really goes above and beyond for everyone. The kitchen staff was a blast to watch, we went early so it was interesting to see them slowly get more and more busy. The food was mostly great, though there were a few odd pairings but they're changing the tasting menu bi-weekly so there's a fair bit of experimentation going on. The lamb combo was a bit wild, lots of strong competing flavors. The parsnip salad was amazing.

The overall service was great and it was a nice setting for our tasting. The food itself was just average compared to our palette. Underwhelming flavors on most of the course. The empanada on the first amuse was dry. The watercress soup was a mid level dish with 2 out our 4 diners still containing shrimp shells. Definitely not what we expected from a Top Chef winner, but it could have been an off night for the team.

Recently discovered this gem! All the food was amazing and the service was great! We sat in front of the kitchen and got to see the chefs at work. Very clean environment and will definitely be going back! All meats are butchered in house and the pasta is homemade.

Nice staff but could've checked on our table more frequently. I'm guessing they're short staffed due to covid. Caesar salad was good. Baked garlic shrimp is always good. My baseball steak was rare instead of medium rare. I asked them to cook it a bit longer but I found the steak texture changed after the re-cook. The top sirloin steak was over cooked to medium well but we ate it anyway. The mushrooms go well with the steak. Our usual go-to keg is the mansion on Jarvis Street so we will probably go to that one first before coming back to York Street.

Went for a business dinner and was a great place for big groups. Place is large and very busy, reservations required. The service was quite slow but very friendly. Recommend sharing appetizers and getting a personal entree. The baked Brie and calamari were delicious. Go for the steaks, their speciality. Desserts are large specially the chocolate cake. Prices are high.

The Keg is a fantastic restaurant, especially if you're looking for a great patio and a place that caters well to groups. It's tucked away from the street, providing a more private and relaxed atmosphere. However, the service was just okay. I would advise against dining at the outside bar, as the staff seemed to treat it like a break room and made us feel uncomfortable with their stares while we were eating and drinking. Nonetheless, the happy hour at the Keg is a must-try. On the downside, the wings were a letdown with their small portion size and limited dressing options. Situated in the financial district, the restaurant attracts plenty of office-goers. One shining aspect was the bartender's exceptional service, which was consistently genuine throughout our visit.

This location is fantastic. Modern interior with a casual feel. The staff is accomodating, kind and professional. There are plenty of menu items and a variety of different drinks. I personally had a medium "Prime Rib" and the "Billy Miner Pie". Both of which were very delicious and fresh. Portions were surprisingly large which is nothing to complain about. Highly Recommend.

Came here for a date night on a Friday evening and it wasn't as busy as I thought it would be. The restaurant is huge and the atmosphere was nice. The service was great and our waitress was very friendly. The food was good and the portion sizes are quite big, I still had some leftovers to take home. I recommend coming here.

(+++) We were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday and we had an AMAZING time! It was my first time at the Keg and I was not disappointed.The service was well-timed (shout out Alyssa), the ambience was perfect, and the food was freaking great. (-) The ONLY thing that could have been better was the fact that a few of my escargots had sand in them which, as you know if you've experienced it, is quite an uncomfortable sensation on your teeth and takes a while to get over.

We came here for my son’s birthday. We didn’t reserve table. The staff greeted us politely. We arrived after 7 pm on a weekday. Not all tables were occupied though the area close to entrance was noisy. The waiter who served us was friendly. We ordered the Keg Classic which I think the most cost effective. I have top sirloin at medium cook. It was juicy and delicious. The Caesar salad is fine but if it’s colder it’s better.

I made a reservation for 730(during the leaf game) and asked for a quiet booth for me and my wife for date night. Although busy, there were plenty of seats available after further observation. Our 1st attempt was a 2 person table between a bench of other seats(clearly not quiet). Asked for a booth(as requested) and was brought around to the back of the bar. So I'm not sure where quiet was missed but sitting us directly behind a bar area with TV's and fans watching the game clearly wasn't it. Our server arrived and was devoid of personality. Did the bare minimum to make us feel like a welcomed guest. While waiting for our drinks, a table of 6 males was sat directly across from us to add to the "quiet" atmosphere. Needless to say most of our conversation was yelling at each other. Our server took our order and disappeared. We both ordered 12 ounce New York keg classics. Cesar salads, and french onion soup. I had to ask the server if there was bread service which she finally brought to us. My ginger ale was gone when our meals arrived and the server never checked on us. She made several appearances at the male table but literally walked past us without even a check in. The food took an extra amount of time to get to us. The steaks at least saved the night. My med cooked with philly char was on point. After 3 attempts I had a good steak at the Keg on try 4. The loaded baked potato was dry and because my server was absent I was able to ask another for some butter. Our server again didn't follow up to see if the meal was good to refill drinks or to check on us. We had coffee and billy miner pie which again were good. Overall, the atmosphere and service were awful but the food was excellent. We won't be back to this location and I'd look elsewhere if you want to be treated well.

From the very beginning of planning our wedding we knew Canoe would be the perfect venue for us to bring all our friends and family together in Toronto for celebrations. We had a perfect day being 54 floors up in the sky and looking endlessly over the whole city. We had a small wedding of about 40 people (Canoe holds up to 150 people) so it was perfect a space for everyone to spread out and enjoy. The food was impeccable and just amazing. Not one dish was a disappointment and we loved creating the perfect menu for our guests, even being able to cater to those who had a gluten intolerance and any allergies. There was a great selection of drinks and the service was great, everyone was very much well catered for from wine to great cocktails. All the servers made each of our guests comfortable. We had our own server and he was incredible. He even ensured when we got up to speak to guests that our food was kept warm for us. He was actually the first to greet us upon arrival, he immediately got us water and prepared a vase with water for my bouquet. Although the overall day was great, we did have a few things go wrong on the day which were caused by the building not allowing access to the loading dock and we feel management could have assisted and dealt with this a lot better. We feel things would have ran much smoother if we had an earlier access to the space or somewhere to store some of our items prior to the time we were allotted. After our wedding, we did contact Canoe to discuss the issues and concerns which we feel they dealt with it well by taking the time with us to discuss matters even after we returned back to the UK. They were apologetic, understanding and ensured we would return happy in future.

I recently dined at Canoe restaurant with a group of four on a Friday evening at 6 PM, and I must say it was an incredible experience. We had reserved a week ahead of time, and I highly recommend doing so because this place fills up fast. We opted for the tasting menu, and it exceeded our expectations. The dishes were not only delicious but also beautifully presented in unique and original ways. The creativity and attention to detail were evident in every bite, and there was a consistent theme that tied the whole menu together. The service at Canoe was top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the dishes and wine pairings. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. One of the highlights of our evening was the breathtaking views. We were fortunate enough to catch the sunset, and it created an amazing atmosphere. The restaurant's location allows for stunning vistas, making it a truly remarkable dining setting. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend Canoe restaurant. The excellent food, consistently positive experiences, and remarkable atmosphere make it a must-visit. It has become one of my regular dining destinations, and I can't wait to return for more culinary delights.

My husband and I were visiting from the Niagara region. We had booked this reservation weeks ago! It was worth the wait… we shared the chefs tasting menu. I have some food allergies and they were very careful to pay attention to that. Two courses were especially prepared for me. Our server explained every stage of the menu and was very attentive and friendly. We will go back!! What a great experience!!

The big asset of this place is obviously the view. If you can get a table near the windows, it’s beautiful. The service started a bit slow but ramped up and after ordering, the food arrived promptly. The staff were great, extremely friendly and took the time to explain the dishes. As for the food: the appetizers were surprisingly good. For mains, my fish was slightly overcooked, but everything else was decent. For a place that can coast off of its views, not bad at all.

We tried the tasting menu. Food was great, presentation excellent. Strawberry dessert is our favorite, followed by the scallops and oyster. Pork Trotter dish was a little strange, nevertheless still delicious. Service excellent, compared to many other high end restaurants, the service and staff are very well trained at Canoe. Open kitchen concept so you can see interactions of the chefs. Happy to see diversity in the kitchen. Restaurant is clean, atmosphere is good. View is nice and most people are there for a celebration. Wish their restroom was nicer, as it's just the TD building restroom. But that's no good reason not to try out the restaurant. Would recommend if you haven't been and I would return.

Fabulous dining experience. Waiter was so personable. We had the chef’s tasting and the every course was exquisite and complex and totally outstanding. The gin and tonic course was quite a pleasant surprise of flavors. Love how they bring them out and explain them. So much goes into each of them. The atmosphere is stunningly beautiful at night.

I really wanted to give Canoe a higher rating as I was so excited for it, but it just didn't meet the mark for me. For the $165 tasting menu with the wine pairing included with it, the food did not wow me that much. The most unique dish for me was probably the semi sweet dessert with the Jerusalem artichokes, which was a small bite. The other dishes were good, but not amazing where I would remember them in the future. The service was also off for me. It may have been that it could've been the first weekend with full capacity, but it took 4 hours to do the tasting menu, with lots of gaps in between dishes (the last 3 dishes were dessert). And the timing of the wine with the meals after the first two courses were a bit off. Again, it could be the kitchen getting back to the groove of things. Lastly, one of my friends had a slight food irritation, which we notified them of. The server at the beginning walked through options and they came up with what would work. One of the courses, she said she'd be able to eat the specific dish, but when it came to that course the chef provided something else. And when they tried to clear it up, she was given the alternative again and the delivery was very harsh in the sense that she was told something to the effect that the chef said you have to eat this. I understand that maybe there was something in there that she maybe didn't know which wouldn't work, but the delivery of it and how she was told that she had to eat that dish did not come off well. Overall, I would suggest coming for the view, drinks, and appetizers/dessert or maybe the a la carte menu, but maybe hold off on the tasting menu.

Great service! Great food! Good ambiance! Our server was amazing! We had a reservation but were not sat at a window seat as requested, but our server waited till one opened up and moved us over. A little bit pricey of course but well worth it for a special evening! The food was amazing but dessert was only mediocre. The cocktails were very interesting and the wine list was great!

The tasting menu was very delicious - couldn’t find any faults; however, the service was not up to par. Wish I was able to enjoy the food without constantly being interrupted asking how the dish is. Nonetheless I think Canoe serves really good food and is definitely worth a try!

The food wasn’t up to par. You would think the food is going to taste amazing but I have had better at more affordable restaurants. I ordered the lamb which was $78 just to only be able to eat the 1.5 inch cut of the lamb’s shoulder. On the other hand, the scallop en croûte was very good. The sauce was not too overly creamy and had a slight acidic taste which was to my liking. The scallop was fresh but it wasn’t worth going to an expensive restaurant for this one appetizer. In addition, we ordered bread to our table just to get three slices. I looked over to another table who had ordered bread to see if they also had the same amount. In fact they had almost double the amount of bread as my table. It was just me and my partner so I would understand if we got less than a table of six but that table was also just two people. The desert was good for its price. Furthermore, me and my partner felt that we were not getting proper service as we are a “younger couple”. It was minimal customer service and it wasn’t worth the tip we gave. In all honesty, that server did not deserve the tip whatsoever. The server approached us as if we didn’t belong there and didn’t want to serve us. In the end, I would not recommend Canoe as the food is average (maybe less) and the service was horrible considering it’s “fine dining”.

Wonderful Experience. The tasting menu we tried was one of a kind. Very unique and well-thought when it comes to the presentation of the food. The waiters are also very professional. A few of the courses I felt could have been better. There was a dish called pigs trotter which we did not enjoy too much. It was overall a great fine dining experience with spectacular views from the 54th floor of the TD building. I would recommend it to anyone who's ok with spending a bit to indulge in some unique fine dining cuisine.
