Friends took us for a visit here. A beautiful walk into the temple… about 10 minutes or so from main gate. Lots of activity going on including wedding photos in traditional dress. If in the area definitely make a stop by. It was also lovely to walk through the park it sits with in.

Lovely, serene walk beneath the shade of the trees before you get to the shrine. A relief to get away from the bustle of the city and the lure of shopping. Hear your soul speak to you as you pace through the paths. The grounds and the buildings of the Shrine themselves are also beautiful. Beware of rule about photography, particularly where at the sites where devotees are worshipping. I would say not to be missed when you're in Tokyo.

This is a really beautiful shrine. I appreciated the story behind it and walking up to it through the forest is so peaceful. There was also an impressive display of painted sake barrels and it was interesting to read about them. There were many people and the day was hot but the trees kept us cool. It's quite a magical place. When I learned that the trees were donated from all over Japan and now it's a natural forest I was really surprised. It's so beautiful and I'm thankful that such an incredible place is right here in Tokyo.

It’s definitely not your typical shrine in terms of size. However, and due to its location near Harajuku and being actually in Shibuya, even if it can get tiring exploring the whole complex, there are many people who come, foreigners and locals alike. I’ve come here for a total of 3 times in the last 8 years and the volume of people seem to be almost the same, whether it’s winter or spring. There are many parts of the shrine that’s either paid, or freely accessible but you cannot take photos of. Also, you’d definitely wait to take turns to pray at the main shrine, or get your stamp, or buy your food, or use the toilet…you get the picture.

First Shrine I visited while I was in Japan in Nov. It was a long walk in till you reach the Shrine. You can throw a coin and make a prayer at the main sanctuary (do note you can't take photos/videos of the main sanctuary where people pray as well as the souvenir stalls.) You can also purchase a hanging tablet at ¥500 & write your wishes or gratitude on it to hang near the tree. There's a divine tree that represents good relations of husband and wife. I happened to witness a wedding procession during my visit there, was eye-opening! On your way out, do try the savory Dango sold at Forest Terrace! It's delicious!

This shrine was stunning and very peaceful. The area has a museum and gardens that can also be visited. These have to be paid for, though the shrine is free. Inside the shrine are two trees, known as the husband and wife trees. They are huge and quite wonderful. Photos are not allowed of the actual shrine or the amulet selling areas, but you can take pictures in the courtyard. The area of the shrine is large, and there is only one disability accessible toilet near the Sake display. It is a distance away from the actual shrine, so do not leave things too late. The path is gravel in areas, so it can be difficult for manual wheelchairs or for people with walking disabilities. It is possible to hire wheelchairs but there is a long walk to the hiring area. The actual shrine and the museum are accessible. The gardens are not accessible as there are steps throughout.

An infamous Temple and garden in the middle of Tokyo, Japan. It is a 5 Min walk from Harajuku station. It is beautiful in any season due to their wide variety of trees and meticulous grounds maintenance. It is extremely accessible and free. Consider for a visit whether you live here or visiting.

It was a very scenic walk into the shrine - you can really feel at peace and zen here, with the occasionally ruffling sounds of the trees along the path. That’s a train station right outside the shrine so it’s pretty convenient to get to as well! I recommend adding this to your bucket list if you’re ever coming to Japan!

Rich history and culture at this shrine. Very very popular tourist spot, so expect tons of people in your pictures or video. Still didn’t feel overcrowded where I couldn’t get around. It’s no wonder why it’s one of the top spots to see while in Tokyo. It’s a 10 minute walk through the park to get to the actual shrine, but worth crossing off the bucket list! Meiji Jingu is a truly serene and spiritual place. The fact that it's open every day from 5:20 AM is remarkable, allowing visitors to find solace in its peaceful surroundings. If you're seeking a tranquil atmosphere for prayer and reflection, the morning hours are the perfect time to visit when there are fewer people around. This temple offers a beautiful and quiet escape to nourish your soul. 🌅🙏

Great overall experience and I would place this above the Tokyo tower for many reasons. The line to get in does take a while, and can be a little tricky to find the start of, so plan to arrive at the general area a few minutes in advance. The views are great and there are countless spots to eat in and around the tower. It will take a little longer than you would like to leave the tower from either floor. The second floor was nice, but not much different from a view perspective than the first floor. You can easily spend a few hours in this area and I'd suggest planning on no less than 90 minutes.

Tokyo Skytree is a must-visit attraction for anyone visiting Tokyo. Standing at 634 meters, it is the tallest tower in Japan and offers breathtaking views of the city from its two observation decks. The tower is located in Sumida, Tokyo and is easily accessible by train. One of the highlights of my visit to Tokyo Skytree was watching the sunset from the observation deck. The 360-degree views of the city and its surroundings were truly stunning. I was also lucky enough to witness the rare phenomenon known as ‘Diamond Fuji’, where the sunset and sunrise align perfectly with the peak of Mount Fuji, creating a spectacular, jewel-like image. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Tokyo Skytree for its stunning views and unique experiences.

It was crowded, but the queue went fast until you get to the elevators to go upstairs. When you get up, it's very crowded. The food and drink is relatively expensive but also not too expensive. The view is phenomenal but it will be difficult to take photos of you. Unfortunately, I wasn't at the top because the tickets were all already sold out, so if you want to go to the top, book the tickets in advance, but even if you don't want to go to the top, I would recommend reserving the ticket!

Highly recommend spending the 3100¥ on the combo ticket to go all the way up! The views are stunning! I recommend going before sunset ti get daytime views and watch the sun set in Mt. Fuji! Being able to see the other mountains were stunning backdrops to the vast Tokyo city! There are maps in English and Japanese so you can join what areas you're looking on. We paid using a machine with credit card the day of, no wait onna Friday afternoon. Plenty of bathrooms on each floor. There are 2 cafes, I recommend the one where you can have a seat and enjoy the view on the lowest floor before you exit.

It's was a good visit for weekend, it takes 3-4 hours to visit the top of sky tree. It's was very crowded and each times for using elevator need to spend minimum 20 minutes in line. If you visit it close to evening you can see a beautiful evening and also you can see the city on night mode with lots of lights. Place is clean and beautiful. The price for adults is 3400 yen. The elevator speed is 600m per minute. It was good feeling use fast elevator.

An advice : don’t pay the extra price to go to the upper deck, it’s exactly the same view you get at the lower deck (only 50m difference), no difference at all except the price. You have a nice 360° view of the city but that’s pretty much it, crowded with groups and kids running around. For the price there is so much more interesting to do and see in Tokyo than this, save your money !!

Imperial Palace is another major tourist spot in Tokyo, Japan. Imperial Palace is pretty huge to wander around and need to walk a lot to see the places around palace. Good to carry water bottle and snacks in hand for quick sip and bite. Pretty amazing historical place and neatly maintained by the officials and peoples as well.

This review is about the outskirts of the place. You’ll need to book a ticket in advance if you want to enter inside the palace grounds which I still haven’t done yet. Easy walk around the entire place, gives you different views of the city. I also like the different flowers on the walkway. Lots of joggers and bikers so be careful walking.

During our Japan trip, we had the pleasure of exploring the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, and it was an experience to remember. The grounds of the Imperial Palace are very well maintained, and is a great place to visit for a walk. We visited in January, so it is most likely less crowded during that time. If you're in the area, it's a great place to stop by to see the gardens and buildings.

There are two free guided tours available per day. The guided tours are available in multiple languages and provide an outside walking tour of the inner grounds. Prior planning is necessary if you are interested in the guided tour. The tour consists of information regarding the history of the various buildings on the premises and their uses. The tour can be interesting for those who like the historical information, however the buildings themselves are not that intricate to look at. There is also an East Garden that is available to walk though and visit with no planning necessary.

OK. I may get some flack for this one. We spent about 2 hrs walking around the garden area of the Imperial Palace. It is nice, quiet, but also does not directly connect into the Palace grounds where we were hoping to see and take pictures of this historic area. We walked from the garden area to a bridge that we believed would grant us entry. However, the guards were giving us mixed information. One told us it was closed. Another pointed towards the direction we just walked from and said we needed to buy tickets. There isn't a ton of shade out there and the heat from the sun, humidity and hunger set in and we decided, this was as close as we were going to get. Honestly, without seeing the Palace up close - we kinda just walked around a lack luster garden. Sure it's nice, but was it time well spent? Not really. Unless you can find how to actually see the Palace up close or have a guided tour - this may be a pass for you. We still found it interesting and peaceful but without seeing thr Palace itself... it just felt like we made a poor decision. Especially because time isn't your friend on vacation. Maybe if there had been clear signs, in English and other languages to help guide visitors on proper entry this might have been worth it. There were other travelers who seemed just as confused as us.

I was staying in Tokyo for one night and got off at this train station which happened to be the Imperial palace There are 2 scheduled tours 1:00 in the morning and 1 at 1300. No reservations needed they can take up to 70 people per tour or tour with It was very informative and had plenty to see they have multilingual Tour guides. It is very it is very well put together and recommend it to anyone with family or by yourself.

I visited here in summer. It opens only morning time and limited only 70 visitors per round. All visitors need to walking tour as group. There are available for 5 language guide such as Japanese, English, French, Chinese and Korean (Not sure). Japanese guide is always available, but other language subjected to available guide in that day. I did't make a reservation before visiting, but lucky me there was an English tour. The tour started at 10am, but I recommend to arrive before at least 15 minutes. Open to queue from 9am. The walking tour takes almost 1 hour. Visitors are not allowed to walk tour by themselves. There are toilets and vending machine only at waiting area. Better to be ready before tour.

Well worth a visit. We took the free tour through the palace grounds, not much possible to see otherwise as you are not allowed through the gates other than in a guided tour. Still, you can see the moat and main gates. The tour takes you through the palace grounds, though not inside any buildings. There is Japanese, English, and sometimes other languages available. Tour takes about 2 hours (incl. orientation, etc.), quite interesting if you enjoy history and architecture, otherwise you may find it boring. It's also very warm and a lot of walking, so be prepared. Would recommend reserving a spot on the tour in advance, otherwise you need to show up at least one hour in advance to be sure to get a spot on the tour. There is one at 13:00 and one in the morning (11:00?)

I mean, it’s a crosswalk. You can take cool pictures and experience the big crowd but that’s basically it. If you don’t have it on your list then missing it is not a big deal. Also, my photos are not the best but at least I’ve got a nice picture of the Hikakin billboard :^)

Already living in Japan for almost one year, but I just got the opportunity to visit this iconic crossing on mid July 2023. The place is occupied with many tourists whether the local or foreigners. This place is near to the Hachiko square also. Nothing special during the day, just a crossroads, but I think it will be very beautiful during nights as it has the view of city light and skyscrapers.

Absolutely buzzing place . The whole experience was exhilarating. Free to walk around . Was a very safe feeling. Although very busy there was still a sense of calm . Lots of places to shop and eat to suit every type of person and their budget . Great place . Would recommend . We went between 5pm and 9pm . The traffic was well managed by the wardens.

As famous as it gets. View from every angle will feast your eyes. Day or night the charm of the crowd crossing eachother is spectacular. And the most awesome view is during rain with all the colourful umbrellas

Very interesting sets of crosswalk. Came here during a layover and couldn't believe how many people are crossing all the time. It was a bit hot when we came, but I imagine it would be very awesome during cooler weather.

Busiest pedestrian crossing in the world? I guess I can believe that. Tons of people crossing in all directions. Today was a Japanese holiday, so I am sure that it was extra busy. I’m glad that I got to experience it.

At the end of the day it’s just a pedestrian crossing, however, it is a very iconic and famous crossing. Well worth a visit to see this bizarre spectacle. If you happen to catch it at a busy time you’ll be amazed by how many people get across the crossing at each time. There are plenty of places nearby to get food and refreshments. Excellent transport links.

What a pretty place especially when the sakura blossomed! We came on 25 March evening and there's quite a crowd here. The weather was super chilly due to the drizzle throughout the day (almost). There are some stalls at that area which sells hot food and it's definitely tempting but I didn't try. Definitely worth a visit here in spring!

Ueno Park is a very relaxing place to go after you grow tired of the buzz of the city. The fantastic greenery, the cool breeze, the birds singing will make you fall in love with this beautiful park. Definitely a must go for park lovers.

One of the best park to see Sakura, and it will be very crowded around that time. During the sakura season, you can see many people doing picnic in the park. This Park is pretty big as it has some temples and one of temple is dedicate to one of the famous "7 Lucky Gods." It also has the biggest Zoo in Tokyo where you enter for a fee. In the middle of the park there is a lake where you rent a paddle boat. Certain times there is a show (such as a monkey performance, etc) in the park or some flee market. Not to mentioned, they many some famous museums here such as the National Museum Nature and Science, etc, They also have a cozy Starbucks in the middle of the park. So there are quite things to see/explore in this park, therefor Ueno park is one of the famous park in Tokyo!

One of the biggest park in Tokyo to visit. Very close to Museums and the zoo with panda, this is a great place for picnic during the cherry blossom season (also at night!). You can see shrines and a nice pond as well. I like visiting also Ameyokocho, the casual street shopping area just a new walk away from this park.

Great place to refreshing your breath! Came here in a morning and found many local people walking around, even it's in rainy season. There are alot of tree and also many cool musuem nereby. Easy to go by JR train and bus. This is good place for kids and pets as well. I also found there is a local basketball competition and school festival in the middle of park. Beautiful place!

One of the best ramen chain restaurants in Japan. No doubt they are good and always long queue even after 9pm. We waited about 30-40 mins for our table. Self order on the machine. They accept credit card and cash. Regretted that I only had once during my visit. Must visit when you are in Japan. Open 24 hours and just pop by anytime.

An absolute must if you visit Japan. You will wait at least 45 minutes (in my experience) in every place they have, but absolutely worth it. You will be seated in separate 'desks' and the contact with the people serving you is minimal. You just fill in how you want your ramen to be prepared and a few minutes later you can start eating. If you can handle spicy, I recommend to add some of the chili as it elevates the flavour to another level. Overall just top notch! When you're looking for a place to catch up with friends or family, this might not be the place. If you're just looking for great food, GO GO GO! Glad to finally come back the first ramen I had in Tokyo over 5 years ago. Love the unique Ichiran experience of individual eating and being able to customize how you want your ramen and soup base. I'm a fan on thin extra firm noodles and a strong tonkotsu broth. So always a delight to eat here, but have to admit that while I leave satisfied, I'm also very very full! Highly recommended for both the ramen and eating experience.

What can I say, I love Ichiran! Long wait but definitely worth the wait. Love that you can order and sit there without having to speak or really see anybody. The process is super simple and straightforward but effective. The broth is SO flavourful and absolutely delicious, and love that you can customize to your liking. So good 10/10 and will have to stop by every time I visit Japan.

It was the most amazing ramen I've ever had in my entire life. Everything is so customisable (I loved the option to change the firmness of noodles because I always like my noodles hard). You don't have to look at or talk to anyone. At the end you can write a message on the paper of your disposable chopsticks to thank the chef! If you go with 2, maybe 3 people you should be able to sit together (you can fold the partition separating your stalls). I went with one friend on a Monday at 7:30pm and the wait was only about 5-10 minutes.

We were surprised that restaurant staff speaks English. He switched to speak English immediately once he noticed that we were speaking English. Although it was around 4am the service quality was quite high. I recommend this ramen shop.

As my first meal upon arriving in Tokyo, this is definitely worth the price and long wait. One bowl is enough to make your tummy warm and busog ☺️ ordering is unique as you have to punch in your order at a vending machine. They even sell packaged pancit canton style so you can also make it at home 🥰 you can choose the level of spice, thickness of your noodles, and if you want to add other sides in your bowl. Their table is also arranged for only one person, so you can also be comfortable eating alone. Will def eat here again the next time i visit Japan 💯

I had to check out the hype! It was really good! Was it the best ramen I had in Japan- no! But it was the best chain ramen I’ve ever had! It was easy to order and we went on a Thursday afternoon so it wasn’t busy. Maybe waited about 8 minutes for a table. Really happy I squeezed this place in before I left!

Loved it! There's only one type of ramen so there's not much of a choice (except for additional toppings like an egg or nori, plus the firmness of noodles, spiciness level, etc.) but they made that one to perfection. Plus I loved the vibe of this place.

First time for me to try a "one person" eat Ramen experience. Arrive, make order at the machine n pay. Find yourself a seat that is empty. Once you settle down yourself, n you will need to fill out a form how you want your order to be. Later on, staff will come to you n confirm your order, then blind goes down. Your noodle will come shortly. Food: noodles are good, but soup based is too salty for me (I don't eat salty food that often). The chatsiu is just right. Service: japanese restaurant staff are very polite in general. They keep speaking Japanese and bow. I don't understand, but it is part of their jobs. I tried to communicate with them, but they don't understand /speak English. Environment: even people eat alone, but it doesn't mean they come alone. People can talk but in low voice. People don't like being disturb but too noisy Environment when they eat. Overall good experience. Thanks. It is located in the basement. No way to have wheelchair accessible. Watch out the stairs, quite steep.

The dumplings were absolutely delicious here. Make sure you get a varied selection (bite-sized are truly bite sized, and some soup dumplings - plain and spicy) Ordering was quite easy via your phone. They only take card payments.

Very tasty food, friendly service and a great atmosphere. We were treated like friends as soon as we entered by our server Kanta and everything was explained to us clearly. We went for the server's recommendation and it included all you can drink alcohol for 90 minutes! Wish we had a place like this back home, but gives us another reason to come back to Japan!

I'm actually not the biggest fan of dumplings in general, BUT their Gyopao (mixed meat dumplings with chicken broth) is definitely something! 4pieces is enough for one person, but you have various options if you're hungry. Reccomending to try their whiskey 'highball' too! The staff is also super friendly and nice. I'll be back!

Amazing food - everything was really delicious and quite authentic (Gyoza und Xialongbao and resembles taiwanese cuisine). It is a little bit expensive but totally worth the price (no Izakaya!). If you want you can get all you can drink alcoholic drinks (beer, highball and lemon sour) for approx 1700¥.

Love the dumplings, juicy and soft. They have instructions on how to best eat the dumplings. Had the shrimp siew mai twice, the delicious taste was so unforgettable. Overall experience in the restaurant was excellent! Great service and friendly staff.

Amazing food here! Walked by, places available, got in after 01nmin no places available only booking. It's one of the best in Tokyo. The food is something else. The atmosphere is so nice with Kanta always smiling and be professional at same time. 5 stars.

Ok food. The soup dumplings are great... Unfortunately several of the other signature dishes were already sold out even though I had a reservation. The idea of fully humanless-service is efficient. You order everything through a QR code link and even make your own drinks. I would say, if you want to have bottomless beer (which is an option available with pay) and potstickers, come here. Otherwise, it's a bit meh and much better restaurants throughout Tokyo worth trying.

Great dumplings and a large selection of other Taiwanese food. Here’s what we got: - The famous soup dumplings. I thought these were good, but not that unique. Kinda just tasted like jiaozi served in soup. - Xiao long bao. Very good, not amazing. - Fried chicken. Might’ve been my favorite thing, very crispy, tasty, and juicy. - Drooling chicken. Tasty, could’ve used a bit more spice imo. - Dan Dan noodles. Good, a lot of numbing spice which I liked. - Some other noodles (see pic). Liked these a lot, they put lots of nice stuff in it.

The food was amazing, we waited 5 minutes for a table. We bought a t-shirt because they were vibes! Kanto the waiter was a joy, we even as a restaurant played rock-paper-scissors

Great gyozas, and the set menus are great value. The cucumbers were super tasty as well.

Location of the restaurant is easy to find and accessible. The price of the food is reasonable and the size of each gyoza is quite big. I preferred the gyoza with garlic. The side dishes such as the beans sprout and tofu are also worth the try. The was a 20 min wait in the queue outside on a weekday night but once seated, the service is pretty fast.

Really loved their simple menu, with limited dishes. Focused on dumplings (boiled and fried) but had a few extra side dishes like chicken rice and miso cucumbers. Their dumplings are fresh made and frozen (you can see them on the trays that they were frozen in), then made in front of you while you wait. Very delicious and also affordable at 290JPY/6 dumplings.

Waited around 5-10 minutes to get in. We got a fine spot at the bar. Staff is very friendly and spoke English also. Probably one of the best and cheapest dinners we had in Tokyo. The atmosphere inside the place is very nice but busy, but very enjoyable.

Horrible. The food was undercooked and flavorless. Food presentation was poor. They seated us in a dimly lit closet with a pair of open shoes. The drinks we ordered had stick handles. My check came crumpled and with stains. There are plenty of good gyoza places out in Tokyo, this isn’t one of them. I have been living in Tokyo for 10 years, this isn’t a place you should go out of your way to try. The wall art was very nice though.

Our favorite were the steamed dumpling, the dumpling wrapper was so soft and fluffy, each dumpling was nice and light I felt like I could’ve eaten 2 dozen of them by myself. Actually the name is steamed dumpling but it’s actually just boiled. The shiso gyoza is interesting, not bad but it’s something I would just try once. The filling of the dumpling I think is chicken and cabbage, it’s very light in flavor.

Very good food, the staff aren't so attentive, they could definitely be more aware of the customers. Food was very tasty and dumplings servings were well priced. The other food is quite small for what you get. I must admit the cucumber salad was awesome as the cucumbers were so crunchy. Bean sprouts were very nice as well. Overall the serving time was well matched for how long it takes for you to eat a plate.

It's almost a crime not to try the gyoza here at least once when in Harajuku. Boiled or pan fried it doesn't matter, they are delicious (and still have a very competitive price considering the surrounding area). Be prepared to queue a little bit, but the service is very fast so you won't have to wait long unless you come at peak hours. Definitely a must try.

We had gyoza 4-5 times during our trip to Japan, and this was one of our favourites! Meat options only available. The have a plain and one with garlic/chive. We tried the pan fried version and it was delicious! An affordable, delicious snack to break up your day as you explore the area! I’d definitely come back. The cucumbers with miso were really fresh and tasty. Avoid coming around 12-1 - we waited around 45 minutes. When we left around 2, there was no line.

A fantastic hidden gem that you need to try. Menu is limited to only panfried or steamed pork gyoza (with or without garlic) and sides but who can complain when 6 gyoza is only 340 yen?! We sat at the bar and got to watch the staff make the gyoza which was fun. There was no line when we arrived at 6.07pm on a Friday night and we got seated immediately, but there was one when we left around 7pm. The gyoza was fresh and juicy. Not the plumpiest but still super tasty. We got the garlic because yum. The panfried gyoza were my favourite, but the steamed were just as good. The miso cucumber side was deliciously fresh (crunchier than Aussie cucumbers but not as juicy!) and the miso reminded me of peanut butter? We decided to get the cucumber after reading all the google reviews that mentioned them and are glad we did! A fantastic meal that only set me and my partner back by 1,760 total including 2 x panfried gyoza, 1 x steamed gyoza, 1 x side and 2 x drinks. They are cash only though. Service wasn’t exactly with a smile, but it was fast and efficient, and you didn’t need to flag anyone down (they just seemed to know and weee very intuitive!). We did notice the staff joke around with some of the other customers so maybe it was just a language barrier (they had no issues understanding us though). Thank you! We will be back and recommending this place to all our friends :)

As others have said before, it is a quite pricey but in my opinion well worth it and I'm very glad I went here! The staff members are all very accommodating and soo kind. Rest assured, they will give you a great ninja experience. The courses themselves were presented in interesting ways. I've had the vegetarian course and was definitely not disappointed. The magic show was also entertaining and the ninja was very friendly! Would definitely recommend this as an experience and will also gladly come back again. (I was also full after the courses!)

TOTALLY WORTH THE SPLURGE. While it has been years since we ate there, the magic of that evening still brings smiles to us. The whole experience from the moment you step in to the restaurant through the meal service and to the very end are executed flawlessly. The food was amazing, but the up close magic and sleight of hand tricks were unbelievable. Spend the small fortune. You're guaranteed to have an amazing evening.

This experience was a splurge but definitely worth it for the most part. My favorite part of the experience was that we ate our dinner in what looked like a cave. The staff were so friendly and fun! I enjoyed all of the appetizers, they were unique and came out in displays with ninja weapons and smoke. The main course was pretty basic being steak and salad, but it was delicious. The ninja staff replaced our wet towels often, and our eating utensils. We felt very welcomed being foreigners, and the staff spoke English well. This wasn’t just a great dinner it was entertainment and activities. This was the most put together entertainment restaurant, and I loved meeting real life ninjas!

Went here today for dinner. The ninja village was a bit of a dark maze but the staffs were very helpful and mindful of people’s safety. I love that the tables and seating are separate so more intimate and you can enjoy the food and the service. Food from the first course to the end were just to die for, very creative, top produce and well balanced. Each meal was creative and paired with some showmanship. Some food are disguised to look something else like the omelette and radish at the end with soy we’re actually pudding, Apple compote and caramel sauce. The Master Ninja at the end was very entertaining with his magic presentation. The experience has a wow factor, staffs great, food divine. Booking is a must!

Wonderful experience. A little expensive but worth every penny. The ninja maneuver is really exciting. They have put lot of thought and art into making the whole place. Better to make reservation before going. We chose the cheapest course so the amount of delicacies were less but they were delicious

Such a fun and interesting concept for a high end restaurant. I love how the ninja theme is over the top but not in a bad or tacky way. My husband and I made a reservation for my birthday and we had so much fun. The food was delicious. We ordered 2 Hanzo course meals and asked if one could be accommodated for a dairy intolerance. They were able to make small changes to the menu for me and I was so thankful. Service was really great and I cannot wait to return!

This place was unbelievable. It's on the higher-priced side but definitely worth every penny - the food, atmosphere, performance, and master ninja were all a fantastic experience, adults and children alike! From the very beginning, even before you enter, it's well performed! The wagyu Steak really was melt in your mouth and everything was so delicious. My picky eaters ate everything! Highly recommend you make this special dinner a part of your trip!

Foreigner friendly, they do have English menu, the sushi is pretty good, you can tell it is fresh and served in room temperature which how sushi should be served. The chicken karaage is not really recommend because of the price, the taste is good. Not a cheap place to be for sushi, but it won't let you down. 2 person for 10,000yen.

Cant decide which restaurant to try. As a visitor, it's probably a safe bet to pay a little more to ensure a quality sushi meal based on reviews in shinjuku. But given a chance, any of those restaurants at Tsukiji will offer fresher and better value for money options. Set meal prices has gone up.

My niece wanted to try a revolving sushi place at least once before we left Japan and we happened upon this place by chance. They open at 10:30am on the weekends so we were the first to be sat. The concept is definitely cool as you get to see the food before you select it and eat it. Be careful though as it all adds up at the end as they are priced by plate and each plate represents a different cost. Service was quick and pleasant. Our group had a good time. I didn’t feel like the sushi was any better than the States but we paid a bit more for the novelty of it.

The sushi was a love affair of quality, freshness and flavor from the start. We had read the prior reviews and marked the restaurant to try and were more than happy that we did. Good food, our waitress was sweet, patient and spoke English. One otoshi (the house appetizer that follows the order of an alcoholic drink for the small cost of 300-600 yen) was brought out for one of us, as he had ordered a beer and I had ordered green tea. Our waitress had been kind enough to also make us aware of this upon ordering. The only little criticism would be a lack of atmosphere, but even that held little sway when the food and service were excellent. We would go there again.

A famous chain for sushi in Japan. Quality at this location seemed less than what I remember back when I came in 2018 and went to another branch. Still, nigiri prices are pretty affordable and some of the tuna sashimi was 👌🏻👌🏻

Friendly service, sashimi quality is above average, and they have different varieties and combinations of sushi and sashimi. The price is reasonable. It's excellent to maintain high quality of a chain store.

This place is pretty foreigner friendly in the fact that they provide a menu with multiple languages (although you do have to ask for one if it’s not obvious to them that you are tourist). The most confusing part was figuring out how to order, so let me help you. The papers and pen that are on your table are there for you to order most of your food (the server will initially come up to you to ask what you would like to drink, I got a shochu matcha highball). IMPORTANT: If you order an alcoholic drink they will give you a small dish called “otoshi” which is mandatory and cannot be refused( tho you can chose to just not eat it). This is so you don’t drink on an empty stomach and is something that happens in most restaurants that serve alcoholic drinks. The nigiri (にぎり) is numbered on the menu and the numbers correspond on the order sheet. The two vertical columns ask if you want wasabi in your nigiri or not (left column is yes and right column is no). Indicate how many of that nigiri you want in the boxes (ex: 1,2,3). Anything that is not given it’s own box on the sheet can be indicated in the free blank boxes on the bottom right corner ( this is where I put my order for the assorted tuna dish and my miso soup). When you are ready to order and if you need anything else in the future, call a worker with a “sumimasen” and/or raise your hand to show its you who is calling them. P.S they give a complimentary green tea drink after your meal and the tuna is definitely the most worth it. Was not a fan of the marinated mackerel. My order of sushi + my alcoholic drink + yuzu sherbert (which I highly recommend for dessert) + and small miso soup = 7,557¥ which is about $52. Don’t forget to say “gochisosamadeshita” to the workers if you enjoyed the food!

We ended up picking this spot because the other sushi restaurants in the area weren't open until later in the day. The restaurant is foreigner friendly and had a multilingual menu available. Some of the lunch set prices were pretty good and included chawanmushi and miso soup. Sitting at the counter was a fun experience, as we got to watch the sushi chefs at work. And they were all friendly too. The sushi itself was pretty good, and I'd eat there again the next time I'm in the area.

Had a birthday dinner here with my family and it was an overall great experience. The staff and service was great, with English communication on par with the Japanese restaurants found in Australia. Their sashimis were excellent with good quality cuts but what stood out was my family's first experience with Chawan Mushi as it's flavours were very reminiscent of the broth found in a Balut/Penoy egg (Filipino) which we found very interesting! The more expensive prices were reflected upon the service and quality of the ingredients used in the dishes. We were sat on the basement floor very close to the chef who prepared our food - was a really great experience. Would probably not go out of my way to go back here but definitely a worthwhile experience!

Not as cheap as Kura and not soo fancy as other sushi restaurants but I honestly don't find many differences. The good thing is you can watch the chef doing the sushi right in front of you.

The food was aight. The service was aight. The vibe was aight. Nothing too special, but it should do if you are hungry. They forgot to give us utensils, water and napkins. They are very friendly though.
