Beautiful gallery space with masterpieces abound — Vermeer, Rembrandt, Hals, and many more — all hung well and the gallery space used to perfection. Staff were nice too which is a lovely added bonus. Spent an hour and a half inside but you could easily spend two hours or more. Elevators for access and toilets are available too. Absolutely essential if you are in The Hague.

Very interesting museum where you may see paintings of Vermeer and Rembrandt, including "most famous portrait in the world" - Girl with the Pearl Earning. The museum is not so big, 16 halls, the entree fee is 19 euro. It is better to buy tickets beforehand online. Must see in Den Haag / The Hague.

Very nice 2 floor museum. Easy to tour, and the application was very helpful. So make sure you go with your earphones. App is completely free, and you can also see more images and of course, hear the details and stories of paintings. They also exhibit the pigments that were used to paint The Girl with Pearl Earring. Since it is my special interest, I really liked it.

A very beautiful building in denhaag. It houses some of the most important art in the Netherlands. We were unable to explore the museum as we reached around 5:30 pm. A little before the closing time. But our guide told us it is definitely worth a visit when we are in town next. The building itself is beautiful and is very well located close to the parliament. It houses paintings from the dutch golden age and is also listed in the top 100 Dutch Heritage sites.

Must visit when you’re in town at Den Hague. I bought ticket in advance at website. Easy to access and use. Have to put your water bottle and large bag in the storage. Exhibition itself is pretty great! See lots of the collections at once. Worth it! Weekday not many people. Highly recommend it

Beautiful collection of art mainly renaissance and christian art. Lovely collection and the full walkthrough takes about 1.5 hours. Some must see pieces like the girl with the pearl and some Rembrandt paintings. Amazing for art lovers and definitely worth your time!! Make sure to book tickets beforehand and to go early to avoid big crowds and long waits.

Excellent art museum with just the right amount of pieces. Not too much or too big where you decide to start rushing through. Even the children enjoyed it as they felt like there was enough variety. One of the best art museums we have ever visited!

Interesting art, the museum itself is quite small you can walk through it all in one to two hours. Beautifully decorated interior and well built art collection. While it houses iconic painting like Girl with a Pearl Earring, it does have a lot of colonizer art.

One of the most beautiful museums I’ve eve visited! It’s not big but organized so beautifully. It’s home for Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring and Goldfinch by Fabritius. Take your time discovering all the rooms and visit a beautiful shop later.

Bit of a touristy place. Nice way to see miniature models about how some dutch engineering works. Well maintained. Parking is super expensive. Good if you're spending the whole day otherwise you have to pay some 10 euro for 2 hours only. (It's 10 euro per day regardless of the time )

As if any more praise could be added to this magnificent attraction I could only begin to attribute it😜, our third visit over thirty odd years and it just keeps getting better. Everyone had an absolutely great day including the café and gift shop, luckily our day wasn't too busy, definitely the high point of our time in Holland🤗😍😜❤️🇳🇱

We are family with two girls, 3, 6 and we had a great time. You can be here easily a whole day, there is so much to see!! Highly recommend. Check the weather before because it is outdoor, so only in good weather.... Also we came during a school day so it was not full of people.

Overall the experience is good. One should definitely experience flight journey in it. One will get full view of Holland and important places and monuments as part of the country. Children would definitely love it. Tickets prices for children could you have been less compared to adults.

One of the best park I enjoyed after Mini Siyaam. Park is beautiful, well maintained and everything was working. Main thing is it is interactive and more than my kids, I enjoyed a lot 😂. Best thing is Tram (9) station is at the doorstep so no need to walk a lot. Easily accessible place.

My first visit to this place was amazing. It is really a place for everyone. It has something for everyone to try and experience what The Netherlands is about. The one thing I wished this place could have offered is rides for the kids. I left that could make this magical place complete. There were playgrounds for kids. One for the little ones and one for the bigger kids.

Truly amazing place having miniatures of landmarks across entire Netherlands. Each monument has so much detailed work. Must visit and buffer in at-least 3-4 hours to cover the entire attraction. Try the aeroplane ride. There are so many beautiful palaces here in Netherlands - we actually ended up seeing the real monuments after seeing their miniatures here.

Beautiful and nice place to visit with your friends and family. It's a city architecture in the Netherlands and the architecture is very detail and precise. There are a lot of interactive show that you can try. You can touch some buttons that available for selected building/areas.

It's a very beautiful place. My 4 year old son enjoyed it a lot. The place is very well maintained. I loved the "water Wolf" and the story behind it, the storytelling is amazing for every experience. The "Flying Dutchman" is amazing ! Overall it is an amazing experience for us and we will visit it again !!!

A great miniature park where you will get to see the entire Netherlands. Must visit place and the level of detailing is mind boggling. The minute details of all the architecture are amazing. We can play with dams, boats etc.

Located in a former palace in a leafy part of Den Haag, this museum is dedicated to the works of imaginative artist M C Escher. One of the best art museums in The Netherlands. It is quirky and cool. It costs 11€ to get inside. Bags must be left in the lockers at the basement. There is a cafe in the basement too, and clean toilets. There is an ongoing show by Andy Warhol too. There are some interactive installations on different floors as well. We had no idea who Escher was before visiting the museum. But were pretty happy that we visited. Highly recommend to everyone planning to visit the Hague. Do drop in. It's small but interesting.

Museum where the works of Escher are displayed. There are a lot of metamorphic tiling art, which is quite interesting as it is different than your average art museum. The place was a former palace used by royalty. The museum is quite small and you still need to enter the queue to validate your tickets even if you have bought your tickets online.

Amazing museum, the building was once a Palace now serving as an exhibition for Escher's amazing art works. The setting and lighting of the museum is amazing just as the artworks. Do not forget to go all the way up to see the interactive floor too! The entrance fee is 11 euros for adults, students and children have a lower price. The staff is welcoming and nice too. It was an amazing experience. The museum is located in a 10-15 minute walk from the Den Haag Centraal Station, really easy walk. Museum has a central location. Ticket office closes at 16.30 so even though the museum is fairly small compared to others, better to enter beforehand. PS: you might get dizzy a little bit after visit due to all of the optical illusions.

This is one of the best museums I have ever been to. There is an abundance of information on the life of MC Escher and his teacher Samuel Jessurun de Mesquita. This museum tells a beautiful and heartbreaking story of mentorship and life. I highly recommend this museum. The staff are also incredibly kind and helpful.

Not long enough! This was a well-designed exhibit that was interesting and informative. The palace as a venue could be better because there were a lot of stairs and some were only one person wide so there was a bottle neck. There were fun displays and an opportunity to take an optical illusion photo. The artwork itself is so cool and detailed. I would recommend this experience to anyone visiting The Hague or even Amsterdam since it is a pretty easy train ride that you can do in a few hours.

Great visit, you can spend 2 hours or more in there easily. Each room is well presented and I found it clever to use more artists for the decor, like the chandeliers, in each room there is one with a different shape. I booked beforehand, but you could go and get the tickets at the desk with no issue. For kids there is a scavenger hunt activity, adults can go for it as well. It is available in English, Dutch, and I think in German.

I wasn’t very acquainted with Escher, to be honest, and this museum was a great immersion into his work. The collection is extensive (expect to spend 2 hours here to enjoy properly) and there’s a good audio guide you can download on the spot (there’s wifi available). They also an interactive section, and work from artists inspired by Escher. The contemporary lamps are very cool too👌 A must for art lovers!

Interesting art exhibition place. Escher’s works are really interesting and educative. The place where the art is exposed is nice. The people who welcome you and guide you within the paleis are really nice, polite and friendly. I do recommend to visit it. You can have a nice experience there.

What an amazing museum to visit. Small, simple, easy to follow, great guidance, friendly staff and amazing art work. One of the greatest painters in my opinion, paintings with expression and food for thought. The museum itself is a palace and this makes it even more extraordinary to visit. The price is €11,50 for adults and cheaper for youth and children. I would recommend to buy your tickets in advance as there may be a half hour of waiting line outside the museum.

3-story museum dedicated to Maurits Cornelis Escher. Housed in the extravagant residence of Queen Emma. Enjoy the chandeliers, hallways, curtains as you browse Escher’s wood prints. See his famous works such as Day and Night, Outer World, and Drawing Hands. The top floor contains optical illusions, including a €5/photo distorted room. Spend 1-2 hours here.

Loved this exhibition. Plenty to do and also partake in. Lockers downstairs to put away your bags. Park area outside often with a fair taking place. Nice vibe, lovely building and architecture. Little giftshop. Very chilled.

Perfect place to visit around sunset. Really nice Ferris wheel inside the sea water. Beautiful view of the beach with its bars and restaurants on one side and sunset deep in the sea on the other side. A must visit if you are in Haag. It was not crowded on a weekday at the time of sunset.

This is really a nice place to stroll, eat or snack, meet friends or have a drink. You have a lower deck with lots of stands, bars eateries, plublic restrooms. Then you can access the open air upper deck with a fantastic view of the sea and beach. Such an amazing close to Den Haag. Epic.

A nice place to visit when in The Hague. It can be easily reached by tram 🚋 from the central station (15 min.). There are multiple shops and restaurants both in the pier and on the rooftop. You can enjoy a nice view of both the sea and the beach. I recommend a visit here! 😊🌊

1 recently rode a Ferris wheel, and I loved it! The view from the top was breathtaking, and I was able to take in an expansive view of the skyline. The Ferris wheel offered a gentle and smooth ride, while still providing enough excitement with the height and speed. I really enjoyed the experience, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an enjoyable and memorable outing. - Price a little bit expensive

If you want to enjoy the sunset from a height , it is the place for you. The magical sunset encountered here is one of the lifetime experiences. The beach here is full of energy. You can go with some liquor like beer and wine and enjoy the beach side view.

This is a wonderful place to go walking on a cloudy day. If you go early enough, you can get some great shots with hardly anybody in sight. It does somewhat look a bit tired having seen better days. There is a good variety of restaurants and bars. There are toilets as well but you need to pay a small amount to enter. The ever popular wheel is a must do!

Museum of art with the specific panoramic room. I haven’t spent a lot of time looking at the paintings. My main purpose was the panorama which is really well done. The personnel from the museum was really nice and caring. You have lockers to put your stuff in (for free). There’s also a small cafe inside the museum and of course a gift shop. + Museumkaart friendly

The Panorama, which is the highlight, is a masterpiece! It is almost inconceivable as to how these brilliant artists managed to capture an all round view and paint it in such continuity, detail and depth! It is a treasure in its own right and we should be grateful to the keepers for conserving such a beautiful structure which is a testimony to the genius of these artists. Do look for the binoculars on the panorama deck to peer into the fine details! A proper viewing of the panorama itself takes about 30 to 45 minutes. P.S. The other exhibit showing a German artists prowess also had a fun "flexa-gon" map that you can make while you sit there with instructions.

Absolutely beautiful! I'm from the Netherlands and never saw this before. My mother wanted to show this to us on our girls day. I am not a big fan of musea, but this was a great way to fill our day. Lots of history about mr and mrs Mesdag.

The panorama Mesdag, housed in a unique building, starts its tour with big bold paintings of Mesdag’s fascination of the North Sea in Scheveningen. The Impressive cylindrical panoramic beach painting is 14 metres high and 120 metres in circumference. A must sea in The Hague.

This is a very special museum. The painting itself is something of a masterpiece by Mesdag — vivid and full of detail — and the panorama really allows you to see it and be enveloped in it. It’s been tastefully restored with the old charm you’d expect of a 19th century panorama. Pictures cannot do it justice — you need to be there in the room to experience it and be immersed in the atmosphere. You almost feel as though you are at the seaside at that time. A lovely, lovely museum. Spent 30 minutes to an hour and I cannot recommend enough if you’re in The Hague. Café and toilet facilities are available.

Lovely place they have a wide range of seafood menu and meat selection. Pretty upfront pricing and the service is really nice…. Their dessert is insta worth ! Book ahead as they take reservations and I was able to click only one pic so far but try out their other menu as well.

We ordered King Crab and Prawns in oil for starters and I just could not stop raving about how both the starters were extremely flavorsome. Unfortunately missed out on taking the pics of the starters but the sauce in the King Crab dish was so so amazing that we just kept wanting more. For Mains we ordered Dorade fish fillet and Lobster and whilst they were great too for me the starters were a clear winner over the main dishes. No doubt the place is pricey but well worth it and I would definitely recommend it to seafood lovers! The staff were courteous and helpful too - we were actually hesitant to order the King Crab but the person serving us convinced it will be easy to eat and indeed it was very well slit and one push and you could enjoy the meat easily.

It is a little pricy, but worth the experience. Great seafood, sushi and also other dishes. It was all delicious. Recommend it if you want to splurge a little bit.

We had dinner at Catch by Simonis. The calamaris were crispy and well-cooked inside, the breading wasn't too thick so you could actually taste the squid. For main, I had the tarbot fillet with green vegetables (spinach and glasswort) on a champagne beurre blanc sauce and served with fries. The tarbot was delicious, with crispy skin and the sauce complemented it. The fries were also well-seasoned, and tasty. We also had the dorade and tuna steak. They cleaned the bones from dorade and served it with tzatziki. Both were very well-made. Overall, the food was very tasty and we enjoyed our meal. The service was good too and our food arrived fast. But there were a few minor issues that I wouldn't expect to see at a restaurant with such high prices. 1. Some of our cutlery was crooked, 2. There were only paper tissues on the table, and no cloth napkins.

This simply a perfection. 1st of all the food - so fresh and tasteful that I never ate such sushi before, even wasabi was fresh! - the deserts are innovative on the menu and it gets even better on the plate, staff is welcoming and respectful from the moment you enter and during the whole stay, chairs or sofas are comfy, there's the view of the harbour with jachts and very spacious and clean toilets. Finally a really good place in all regards.

First, they couldn’t find our reservation even though we showed them our email. Then, they missed up our order, then brought a raw fish 😅 They tried to be a fancy restaurant but it’s just not worth it. We noticed that we were not the only once who got these problems. The food and drinks were pretty good but not more than that. The sushi I ate were decent though.

We had a dinner in the Catch by Simons and it was fantastic!!! Food is just delicious! You can choose from a variety of meat and fish dishes. Also the vine choice is impressive. The atmosphere of this place: stylish and cozy, with a charming interior. Service is top! Waiters were helpful and friendly. Many thanks for Catch of Simons for making our evening unforgettable. My wife and I had our anniversary dinner here, and are so glad we chose this restaurant. What an amazing experience of some authentic Asian food, with a fusion in between which is perfectly balanced. You get an option to choose from 5 chapters (courses) onwards going up to 8, or a la carte. We went for 6 chapters, each chapter comes with 3 finely chosen combinations, often a mix of a small starter, a salad and a ‘main dish’. The quantities are apt, and you often crave for more on the main dishes but also realize there’s more coming. :) it is surprising how they are able to combine and balance a plethora of flavours, and you often want to just enjoy these flavors before moving on to the next chapter / dish. I loved the lobster and prawn dimsum (one of the best dimsums I have ever had), and the dessert. Will definitely go again! The photos are a mix of both the veg and non-veg chapters. Their vegetarian chapters are equally delicious.

We got a home kit and it was a really fun experience! The components of each dish were perfectly packaged, clearly labelled, and the instructions easy to follow. A fun date night / friend night activity to do and of course, tasty as well!

Some really good dishes some were a bit less. But the evening definitely felt like a tasting menu. Every round came in a steady pace and consisted of multiple dishes. The Duck was really well made, it was the star of the night. Service and atmosphere in the restaurant was nice.

Interesting restaurant, minimalistic environment, full in the evening and reservation is required. We tried 6 different meals, all tasty. Damplings filled with veal and shrimps were good. Lamb, veal and chicken were excellent, meat was good and prepared well. Sea bas in caramelized sauce was great too. Reccomend food and environment.

Complete package of a restaurant and one of our regular haunts. First time stepping in, the place can come across as a wee bit gimmicky, but the food was faultless. Punchy, earthy and tangy, Little V's offerings - especially the exceptional lunchbox, were exemplars of fundamentals done right, relying more on the freshness of ingredients and deference to tradition to conjure that balance of sweetness, saltiness, sourness, and spiciness, that is so brilliantly distinctive of Vietnamese cuisine. Somewhat jarring too, to enjoy this quality and richness in the comforts of contemporary ambience and occasionally attentive service. The price has gone up marginally after a recent refurbishment, but still an absolute bang for your buck in this part of town.

Great Pho. The broth is delicious. The small pho dish is 9€ and the large dish is 15,50€. The large dish was just enough. I liked that the vegetables came separately which I prefer. The small dish is really tiny and was not even enough for a five year old. But all in all it was pretty good and the ambiente is beautiful & waiters nice.

When you enter the restaurant you definitely feel the south east Asia vibe. The decoration is really well done and the food is great. I definitely recommend it but make sure to make a reservation in advance cause it could by quite busy during the weekend.

Great Vietnamese food experience! The portions are huge and the food is super tasty. We ordered Pho and Spring Rolls for appetizers, and one pot meal for main course. The Buddha Smile and the Dragon Lady were amazing drinks! The service can take quite a while, especially when it is crowded, so keep that in mind.

Really really good food. I see quite a bit of reviews complaining about the portion sizes to price ratio. I had an entree and a main and was so stuffed that I requested to take the rest home and I'm a big guy. Don't even have space for a dessert. The food was amazing, the service was great and the atmosphere was lovely. We did go when while it was very empty which made more pleasant.

The staff was very friendly, but they were understaffed so everything took a bit longer which we didn't really mind. The terrace was sunny and lovely, drinks were great, I had the ossenhass with seasonal veggies which came with a lot of dressings and sauces. The range of desserts was great, the apple pie, crème brûlée, lemon meringue and chocolate moulleux were very nice!

Food was good, but a bit too fat.. if you serve ribs I'd rather have a light salad as an additon not grilled vegetables and mayonnaise. But this seems be in general pattern in dutch restaurants ... too much fat in every dish😕 Friendly staff and nice climate there anyway👍

Great restaurant in the city center. They have a large terrace and the inside is beautiful decorated. There is a Josper grill in the kitchen which is visible from the restaurant. They have a large selection of meat dishes and it always tastes amazing. Perfect prepared in the Josper. Also the aperitivo plate is highly recommended. It comes with a bottle of wine. The wine selection is really good with some great years. Staff is friendly and professional.

Cosy restaurant with friendly staff. Interesting concept of half portion plates that leta you try several dishes in one sitting. A selectio of cold and hot dishes for all tastes: fish, meat and vegan. Great presentation on all dishes. Quality is great though taste is variable (and certainly subjective). Some combinations worked perfectly and others less so. Recommended

I totally recommend this restaurant! The atmosphere is agreeable and the waitresses were very nice as well. Regarding the food, the concept is to order several dishes, so you can try a lot of different and tasty food! I particularly enjoyed the smoked eel and the tuna tartare, but everything was amazing! Definitely worth a try!

Cosy, attentive, great service, delicious food. I can’t fault it. 2 or 3 dishes served sequentially are ideal. The Kung Pao Cauliflower is worth it even for the committed meat eater.

Really great food, highly recommended! The dishes were all quite unique with interesting tastes. A bit pricey but great restaurant for a special occasion and the price-quality is good. We didn't go for the 4 course menu, but instead had two dishes per person and ordered side dishes (which were also excellent) and we shared a dessert (the cheesecake is extremely good!). This was more than enough food for us.

My bf booked a table for my birthday celebration. The restaurant decorated the table a bit for us. Thank you for that 🙏🏼 The food is a sharing concept. All the dish is freshly prep and cooked with inspirations. The taste is all amazing. The vibe of the place is really cosy. Recommended!

Highlight meal of Den Haag. Exceptional service, food and flavor, presentation, and ambience. Truly a treat. The salmon tiradito was divine, as was the cheesecake. Make a reservation and plan a couple hours. Totally worth it.

Dined here with a party of 15 for work. Reservation was easily made with a quick phone call. Their website is very clear and I had already selected our menus before the call. On the day of the dinner, they called to reconfirm my reservation and the number of guests. Food was delicious. Creative dishes with amazing flavor. Very friendly and helpful staff. Dishes were served quickly and everyone was extremely positive. Atmosphere is great too -- I love the tasteful industrial-style interiors. All in all, amazing place!

I had been wanting to go to Dekxels for a long time and it did not disappoint! Really great plates of food, beautifully presented. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed but not too casual. The Bao buns were one of the best things I've eaten for a while! Definitely worth a visit.
