One of the nice architecture of Georgia crossing the mtkvari river in the heart of the Tbilisi city connecting old city. In the night there will be beautiful LED light show. You can have nice wonderful view from the bridge. As this is in the central place of Tbilisi it is easy to access and you should try both night and morning.

Excellent peace bridge. Constructed with steel and glass. Crowded area, one of the best destinations and landmarks for travelers. It is in Tbilisi and nearby many places are there. Careful full with private travel agents. They will ask for more money for trios and rides. They will come and disturb us frequently. Don't give them any money. Directly you can handle.

Beautiful bridge in the middle of city, views from the bridge are not able to explain in words. You would feel like standing at the bridge listening to the soothing live music and watching the sea for hours and hours

Such a pretty good experience to walk on it and see both the beautiful sides of the city the old central city and new. The view in day time and night time both are so good to experience. It's very popular with tourists. You can go there any time as it has become a common pedestrian bridge. It's very illuminated at night that you enjoy walking on it and can take very good pictures.

Beautiful bridge, nice to cross the river from it. Singer playing on the way. It free to pass on it. You can go from the bridge to park and to the cable railway. At the evening-night it full of lights across all the way. Recommend.

Beautiful architecture in Tbilisi worth visiting if you’re there, something I didn’t like is some people making money out of picture taken with birds like peacocks or parrots, please don’t take any pictures with those birds as they cut their wings so they can’t actually fly. The bridge connects two sides of Tbilisi and is on the Kura river with a view, its so bright during the night and you can visit it for free. The place is wheelchair accessible.

It’s was peaceful here lol! Grand architecture of such a bridge! Lovely! Just too many people asking you to ride their boat for huge fee.

Wonderful place to enjoy. I was staying in Old Tbilisi I walked to Bridge of peace I took some photos, then I took the cable car to mother of Tbilisi which was beautiful view. I went there around 17:00 hours to 23:00 hours. It was good experience.

Must visit bridge of either in daytime or in nighttime. It’s really beautiful and you can see panoramic view of the city. Have added few photos and videos for reference. Also you can get a boat ride down the park from there can see the bridge of peace.

Really nice short ride to the top to visit Mother of Georgia and the Fortress, plus you can walk down the stairs to the botanical gardens. It’s a few seconds ride up to the top. 6 people max per car and you can buy tickets/card to ride at the entrance.

We took it at night then again during the day. The views are really nice, you get to see the entire city. It takes you up to the fortress, botanical garden, and mother of Georgia statue. It costs 2.5 GEL per ride per person; 5 GEL for a roundtrip. They also charge you 2 GEL for the card unless you already have one. Multiple people can use the same card. I would recommend you get the round-trip ticket to avoid waiting twice in line. It's approximately a 3-4 minute ride to get to the top. I would recommend you experience it at night as it was more beautiful and waay less crowded. I'm giving it 4 stars because there's no organization, and they don't separate the lines between those who have tickets and those who want to purchase ones, so it tends to get a bit messy. In general, this is a nice activity to do if you're in town.

This is just a magnificent cable car way to the unique and beautiful old city of Tbilisi. Under the road, incredible views open up over the Mtkvari river and over this breathtaking old city. Climbing up, you will find magnificent panoramic views of the Tbilisi and you can also visit the Botanical Garden, the entrance to which is paid.

The cable car experience was good. 6 GEL per person for a round trip. Takes you up near to Mother of Georgia statue. The view of Tbilisi City from the top is amazing 👏 you can enjoy Chimney cake and buy souvenirs. Visit before 10 am to avoid the crowd. Parking space available right below the station. 3 GEL parking fee.

Relatively cheap ticket, trip should be about 5-10 minutes with nice aerial views of old Tbilisi. Take you to the hills.

Must do while in Tbilisi, beautiful view of the city, safe and costs 2.5 GEL per trip. When you’re down, roam around the park for free, it is beautiful with fresh air. When you’re up, you’ll get to explore artistic scenes, mother of Georgia and nature beauty scenery.

The ruins are absolutely stunning - it’s simply breathtaking to walk around the remains of towers and walls. What’s even more breathtaking is the view - Tbilisi is a beautiful city, and you really get to see that from Nariqala. For anyone in Tbilisi, I strongly recommend a visit at this place

Such a fun and magical place ! A beautiful fortress on a large hill that you can walk around and climb different areas. The views of the city are wonderful. You can explore the entire fortress. There is a lovely church, shops and souvenirs. You can hike back down, take a cable car or the more adventurous can zip line down and land in the nearby Botanical Gardens.

Great experience to climb up the steep heights. View at the top was amazing. Good to be in sports or tracking type attire. Not well lit at certain places. Need to be careful of old broken walls and some thorny bushes.

Nice trek up into the fortress. Took the gondola there, and walked home. Great views of Tbilisi!

Superb place to visit. Excellent location and Georgian architecture. Ancient buildings and outside so many traditional shops are selling Georgian items. We bought a few. Traditional buildings and houses are so good and colorful. The location is good and there is a very large area. Tall buildings constructed by big stones and mud. The church inside was so good and peaceful. We need more than one hour to look around this place. The view point is so good. 40 min drive from Tbilisi.

Narikala Fortress can be accessed by car, cable car or by foot. There are steps and paths leading to the Fortress. You can see the Mother of Georgia statue and botanical garden. The waterfall was closed when I visited. Nothing much to do. Good view of the city and the short ride of the cable car.

A Canadian Tourist Review: It is the most beautiful attraction in all of Tbilisi! There will be two women begging for donations outside, but you can donate at donation boxes inside. It is very well lit at night, and it has a large exterior but a relatively small interior. The grounds around it are beautiful too. Oh, and free entry! Highly recommend!

I had the opportunity to visit a church recently, and it was a truly uplifting experience. The atmosphere was serene and peaceful, providing a sanctuary for reflection and contemplation. The architecture and artwork were breathtaking, with intricate details that added to the overall beauty of the space. The service was reverent and filled with a sense of community and spiritual connection. The welcoming congregation made me feel right at home, and the sermon was thought-provoking and inspiring. Church is definitely worth it.

Incredibly beautiful Cathedral and probably the biggest in Tbilisi, Georgia. The views from the central floor area are magnificent. Definitely recommend to take some time to walk, rest and definitely to enjoy the stunning views.

This Cathedral is so stunning & impressive whether it be day or night - you can see this from afar because of its top of the hill location. This was the first go to in my list. Picture perfect, amazing attraction- surrounded by a beautiful garden & benches to sit. You need to cover up if you wanna come inside- for ladies FYI. A must visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

You simply can't miss this massive cathedral as it dominates Tbilisi skyline. Its listed as one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world. As you admire the impressive stone structure it looks modern as it was only completed after 9 yrs in 2004. Traditional Georgian architectural details still abound with its archways and central dome which is Georgian. I had the pleasure to be present during Sunday mass to see the devotees in worship and the Georgian chant was very uplifting. I loved this church so much, I came back at sunset to see it lit up in all its glory. The entire complex is massive. Pics on the inside not allowed and there is a small gift shop at the front.

Amazing views of Tbilisi from the top and it was much bigger than expected. We were fortunate to visit when in service, the tenors singing created a magical experience.

Want to avoid the stairs? Just walk along the side of the stairs. I looped go the right of the stairs walking past roses, lavender, grapes and then eventually a pink stone chapel and then I was on level with the church. It was a much more peaceful and shaded way to see the church and it made me notice more pieces like the patterns on the back of the church, and there’s a grape patch behind the church. A happy way for strollers and wheelchairs to go!

We waited in the afternoon til dusk and witnessed the beautiful sunset. As the sky dusked and the shadows get long and hard, you will feel the great presence of the Almighty Father.

It is the most beautiful and biggest church I have ever visited. If you come Tibilisi, you should visit that place. It have got big garden, good architect and wall design. It have got dress code. Men are not allowed to wear shorts.

Cultural and tourist center Named after a famous medieval Georgian poet “Shota Rustaveli”, it is a charming culturally rich street, and you have to spend some time just walking around the avenue. The street starts at Freedom/Liberty Square, running along for about 1.5 KM, and along its sides, you will find some of the most important and magnificent buildings of Tbilisi, such as the "Parliament of Georgia", the "Kashveti St. George Church", the "Rustaveli Theater", the "Georgian National Museum", the "Tbilisi Opera House", as well as a lot of hotels, restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops…etc. such a lovely experience.

It's an amazing experience - walking along the street and watching people around, the atmosphere of a capital city..

The "train" going up to the Funicular is closed during holidays. Good thing we were in a private tour for this event. From here, you will have a good vantage point of the city of Tbilisi.

Decent food with a superb view. The overall taste of all the items we had here, as well as their prices are somewhat underwhelming compared to their counterparts found all around the city. However, it is important to note that the view makes up for it in most cases, unless you really are simply looking for the best grub in town. We did enjoy the ponchiki very much though, so definitely add that to your meal as well. It is simple, as simple as it looks on photos, but definitely tasty, a true example to "less is more."

It is a fun experience while visiting Tbilisi. There is a theme park at the the top with coffee shops and different rides. It's chilly at the top of the mountain during the winter months.

The place is beautiful, the view spectacular, the food awesome. Thanks to my fantastic hosts I spent great time there, enjoying huge variety of Georgian cuisine. Helpful and friendly staff make the picture complete.

If you're looking for a great time, I'd definitely recommend heading over to this place around sunset, which usually happens around 7:40 PM. Trust me, the view alone is worth it. Now, let's talk about the desserts. You absolutely cannot leave without trying their heavenly honey cake and Ponchiki (Georgian donuts). Seriously, they're to die for. I guarantee you'll be left wanting more. As for the food, we ordered the veal, kebab sandwich, and pork BBQ, and boy, they did not disappoint. The flavors were on point. The only downside? We wished the portions were a bit more generous. We could have easily devoured more of those tasty dishes.

Very nice coffee, like a bistro. You definitely need to try Ponchiki which is a larger sweet donut, filled with pudding creme, a local specialty. Have Georgian tee with it.

Corn bread was made a month ago, it’s hard like a rock and cold. The service was slow, even tho it’s empty. The view is amazing tho. The mushroom with cheese is pretty good.

Definitely worthwhile to stay for a while at cafe funicular, and at least to have their khachapuri, for me it was one of the most delicious I've ever had! And the view from there is awesome as well, the variety of deserts will also surprise. 💯 For khachapuri, just perfect 💚

What comes to food, compare this to an amusement park, not to a fine dining restaurant. Wine tasted like the cheapest boxed bulk wine, edibles were okay. Nothing wrong with the bottled water they served. Salad had some slightly mushy parts. Amazing views, but you don’t need to go inside the restaurant to see them. You will find much better food and service for 70% of the price if you go somewhere small and local.

I ordered Old Fashioned and I’m sorry to report it wasn’t up to the mark. The berry lemonade was average tasting according to my co-diner. I wanted to check their bar but faced resistance from bouncers for unknown reasons but one of them obliged and wanted to chaperone but anyway. This rating is for the service and the one-of-a-kind panoramic view of Tbilisi from the restaurant’s terrace outshines and eclipses the average food experience of the restaurant itself. Must-visit place and restaurant, and to each his own. Prices are very reasonable. Funicular round trip GEL 20 per person and GEL 2 for the card; vantage points PRICELESS!

Simply Magnificent!! Everything about this place is exceptional. Decor: very tasteful and cozy Service: outstanding Food: MIND BLOWING The manager came to our table à couple of time to share recommendations, explain the menu, share information about the restaurants history and make sure we're having a great time. Starters were great (salad dressing was amazing) The soup was quite simply one of the best we've EVER had... FULL STOP. that chicken broth was OUT OF THIS WORLD, packed with flavor yet still pleasantly light and the noodles that came with the soup were home made and had amazing texture. We had chicken and salmon for our mains and again, blow away... The chicken skin was crispy and the pomegranate sauce well balanced. The salmon, despite needing to be cooked well-done to accommodate my wife's pregnancy, was moist, flaky and melts in your mouth. This place delivered on all fronts, we will be coming back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Very good food, definitely a place to share dishes because they’re big and it’s worth tasting many different dishes. The staff is friendly and very professional. You feel like you’re in a Michelin starred restaurant. Starters, main dishes, desserts and wine were about 170 gel per person VAT included.

Go, go,go...this restaurant as it was voted one of the Top 50 Restaurants in the world by 'The World's 50 Best'. This is Georgian fine dining based on a family book by the first female Georgian chef. The family bought her cook book from a market 9 years ago and decided to open a restaurant. They are working their way through 807 recipes from the Geogian cookbook, with chef adding a modern twist using local, seasonal ingredients. BOOK this remarkable experience!

I had dinner here and I can just say that everything was fantastic. The place is charming, the service is great and the food is amazing. I will never forget the taste of the soup, I could say it was one of the best soups I’ve tried. Highly recommend this place.

Had the most incredible meal here last night! Each course was better than the last and truly Michelin star quality. Our server was so knowledgeable about each dish, and paired every course with a different and perfectly-complementary Georgian wine. Highly recommend and the tutmaji is a must-order!

You don’t need to try every restaurant in Georgia to know this is the very best the country has to offer. The restaurant’s mission is extraordinary, the mission is fascinating, and the execution is perfect. I’ve never experienced such intimate and attentive service in any restaurant in my life, it made me feel like I was royalty. The setting is stunning, equal parts your grandmothers living room, ritz hotel, and ancient tavern. It’s cozy, it’s perfectly lit and decorated, and easy to be comfortable. The live musical performance of Georgian folk music was the icing on the cake. The menu is an exploration of diverse Georgian flavours, changing seasonally, and each one is a statement. I began my meal with some homemade lemonade flavoured with berries and herbs. I’ve never been so entranced by a tomato salad in my life, what the chef has managed to achieve with it is awe inspiring. The smoked steak (available on the day due to other items being unavailable) was a true statement piece, arriving in a smoking wooden box and carved table side, topped with a white wine sauce which was laid onto the plate with artistic finesse. It was bold, intense, very rich, and very memorable. My dessert was a chaotic and delicious assembly of homemade vanilla ice cream flavoured with lime, pineapple, apple, and coconut with marshmallows and white meringue dispersed throughout. (Don’t forget to get a tour of the basement and private dining areas as well as the wine cellar!) This will forever be the first recommendation I give to anyone who tells me they are visiting Georgia.

Authentic Georgian food with top top service. Menu and food was incredible with an unique taste. They don't have wine menu but they have a sommelier who recommends the best wine according to the dishes and preferences. We had the pleasure to know a bit about the history of the place from Andrea who explained us everything and made a tour of the place. 10 out of 10!

We were celebrating at this one of a kind restaurant in Tbilisi with small but delicious menu. The decor is beautiful and service is fantastic. We booked many weeks ago and told them about the special occasion, they remembered and got us a surprise dessert, nice of the management and team for the efforts. A must visit to experience Georgian tradition, culinary and fine dining, the best!

I had the Georgian salad and Pork… Really perfect dishes, and as the intention of the restaurant promises, succeeds in wedding old world Georgian foods with contemporary cuisine trends. Historical theme of the place is also wonderful as are the attentive staff. Worth it if price is not the main concern!

One of the best restaurants we’ve been in Georgia! Also great if you want a break from the usual same dishes you find in almost every Georgian restaurants : there was nothing on the menu we had seen somewhere else in our 2 weeks in the country. Everything was absolutely delicious, I’d especially recommend the fried balls, the tartare and the roasted chicken. The wine proposed for pairing was spot on. Service was impeccable and the restaurant’s atmosphere is an attraction in itself, with traditional live music through the whole dinner.

This quaint restaurant tucked in Old Tbilisi is such a wonderful place! Staff were very accommodating and warm. Shout to Sasha as well, he was helpful! It was actually recommended by our local friend, Henry (who also works for this restaurant). The food choices were great. Everything was organic, fresh, and delicious. I particularly loved the pork bbq ribs, it was so tender I could eat it everyday!! We also ordered the rib eye steak which was so soft and juicy, georgian salad with walnuts, and some khavanchkara wine which was smooth and semi-sweet. The vibe of the restaurant was very romantic and relaxing. The dim lights and the furniture gave off a farm to table set up. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Price of the food were surprisingly affordable! I totally recommend this restaurant if you are around this area. You shouldn’t miss this place!

Everyone should try. I had visit this place just passing by. Food taste - very good, beautiful food presentation. Salad was from fresh and juicy vegetables. The waiters are attentive and know the dishes. I will return to this place, definitely!

Definitely by far some of the best service I've encountered in Tbilisi, along with some of the best meat! Very attentive, knowledgrable and friendly waiters, the Beef Tartare is amazing, I love how they add the Georgian fermented veggies, along with the raw egg and Dijon mustard, absolutely perfect. The weekday lunch specials are a GREAT deal, 20 lari for soup, main and side, Pulled Pork is super yum, juicy and fatty and they give a generous portion. And the burger is solid, nothing super special but the meat is quality. And lastly homemade lemonade is very good, fresh, generous portion, and filled with green leafy pulp. And the upstairs is nice open and bright and not too noisy. Highly recommend.

The best steak and ribs in Tbilisi! We love the ribs specially, the meat is so smokey and juicy. They also have good wine recommendation to pair with the dish. Also try their mint lemonade. Even their free appetizer which is chips and tomato dip is so good. They use local Georgian beef so it's fresh and more affordable than other steak restaurants. They also have a bonus raffle. So far we've won a Mtsvadi (a really good main dish which we have already claimed) and 1 liter of wine. It's in Old Tbilisi near the touristy areas. We usually avoid restaurants in tourist areas but this one is an exception.

Food was okay at best but quite small portions. The wine was the best part of my meal. All 3 of these stars go to the waitress who was lovely but I've forgotten her name unfortunately.

Went there 3 times. First 2 times were very good, staff helped us to pick wine and food, i would like to give 5 star, but for the 3rd time staff was very cold and almost didn’t come to us, completely different experience. We were very disappointed. Live music is not a performance as you can expect-its just a group of people eat and drink together and sing something occasionally. Interior is quite nice, overall warm and quite place, food and wine is fine, though fried fish was super small 😅. Last visit made us very upset so not sure will come again.

Sakhhli n11 in Tbilisi's Freedom Square is a hidden gem, offering an exceptional Georgian culinary experience. The staff bakari provided attentive and knowledgeable service, guiding us to the perfect dishes and pairing them with house beer. The House bread was a flavorful start, complemented by a unique paprika and olive oil dip. The Chicken ala Shkmeruli, despite a 20-minute wait because they make it fresh as per order, was a highlight - juicy and generously cheesed. The Georgian salad, "Tomatoes salad with ajika sauce with nut," was a revelation of flavors and textures. The cozy ambiance added to the overall charm of this restaurant, and all of this came at a surprisingly reasonable price 100 lari for 2 . Sakhhli n11 is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic taste of Georgia in a hidden culinary gem.

I am korean I stayed in front of Freedom Square in Tbilisi and found a restaurant. I tried to find this store nearby, but when I looked at the Google reviews, I tried not to go at first after seeing the negative reviews, but the food photos looked delicious, so I went. satisfied with the result I went by myself and was never rejected and the service was good. So I gave tip the two serving friends more than I did elsewhere.

Restaurant was busy. Servers are friendly, helpful and highly knowledgeable about the local wine. We had the corn bread with cheese and dios, which was excellent. For Mains, we had the veal stew and regional fried chicken in cream sauce. Ended with cha-cha, lemon tart and wine candied nuts. Recommend to have wines by the glass so as to try different offerings. The wines produced for the restaurant in great. There is also live local singing and dancing. Can't fault the entire experience.

The place is spacious and has a good choice of dishes. Food is ok. Prices for some dishes as for example the assorti-plate could be a bit friendlier. The staff I met were very nice and helping. I advise to try out this home made lemonade with cream flavour. It tastes sweet at first, but it's still refreshing and you don't necessarily want to drink water after it.

The food was good. However the service was a strange experience as other reviews have mentioned. All the staff looked tired and weren’t exactly the most proactive. However when I did get their attention they were nice to me.

This restaurant is so weird. Food is great, good taste and quantity. Prices are fair. but staff... well. Ignoring customers, taking wrong orders, sitting on their phones all the time and chatting with each other. For me it's just funny but for most of people it would be unacceptable.

Nice local Georgian food for reasonable prices in the city center of Tbilisi. Location is right in front of Freedom Square. Not so much crowded when I was there with friends even though it was on a weekend (Sunday) at about 17:00. Very spacious place with a lot of tables and chairs that can accommodate large groups of guests. Service was quite fast and the staffs were nice.

We ordered khankali, potato and cheese Katchabori cheese with egg Lamb kabab Soup chicken All were good taste and well recommended. The staff are friendly and helpful, they are all professional and speaks English well. Good pricing and affordable. The location at the freedom square nearby

ordered chicken tobacco, cutlet with mashed potatoes and salad. the cutlet seemed to be frozen and thawed many times, not fresh at all. mashed potatoes with sourness, most likely yesterday's cooking. chicken with wrinkled skin, not fresh, was also most likely frozen and thawed a couple of times. there are a lot of extraneous tastes in the salad, as if they were not cutting with the cleanest knife. we won't come again

The food is very tasty however the service is bad , they even forgot to bring what we ordered, beside the waitresses are so slow and not friendly. Hope they could work on this a bit more . We waited a whole 30 minute to get the change after we paid .
