Must-visiting museum if you're interested in history and ancient culture. This is one of the biggest museum in Asia where still remain and exhibit many treasures "White cabbage", "Pork meat", etc. The theme will be changed every season. It's free admission for student, you need to bring your student card. It also provide the audio guide/demo in many languages. You can borrow at the ticket booth. The staffs are friendly and professional. From the entrance to the bus stop takes approximately 5 min walking.

Very nice museum with many beautiful peaces of art. If you are passionate about I would suggest to book an audio guide or a guide. The AC temperature could be rise up a bit. IT was very cold inside especially when outside is 40 degrees. . I suggest you to bring a jumper.

This place was soooooo nice. Clean. Comfortable and kind of silent that I’m looking for after stranded in Taipei City. The ticket was free for students and we can learn a lot of stuff inside. They also have audio guide that we can borrow in the counter.

It is one of the largest museums in Asia and it has many artifacts related to various dynasties of China. It has many sections to see. Souvenir shops are one the best attraction of the museum. It has a prayers room for Muslims. My advice is to visit there with an audio guide or guide. Well connected to public transportation. Recommended visiting.

Amazing experience to see the treasurers of China!! Very open area, exquisite building, and an incredible collection of Chinese history. Realizing that I was mere few feet away from items that were several millennia old was mind boggling!

Why do you close at 5pm? It is too early. Beautiful museum with amazing artifacts brought from China. The government at the time wanted to protect these artifacts from the Japanese invasion and from the cultural revolution which was destroying many of the Chinese past cultures. I loved the paintings. Check out the ivory ball made; it has several concentric spheres all made out of one single piece of ivory. Do not forget to visit the cavage and pork meat sculptures; they are really beautiful and well made.

This is a must visit attraction if you are coming to Taipei. With 3 storeys of exhibits, do plan with minimum of 2 hours before coming over. Additional duration if you are bringing any elders. There's couple of souvenir shops n a nice cafe which we had our lunch break b4 we continue the tour. Do bring a windbreaker or jacket as the AC are pretty chilling.

An amazingly beautiful, great museum to visit in Taiwan, definitely a must! The building itself is a work of art, from the gate to the inside, everything is beautiful and so picturesque, so many awesome picture spot with a lot of knowledge to attain inside. The museum has both chinese and english information for each exhibition so it's very easy to understand especially for tourist. Transportation also easy, go to Shilin MRT station, exit 1, from there only 1~2 mins walk to the bus station. A lot of bus options. The bus stop is right in front of the museum. From the museum, it's also incredibly easy to go to the bus stop (there's even a bus stop inside the museum area) which you can use to directly go to Shilin Night Market. For the ticket, it was a bit expensive ($350) but i do believe it is worth the price with so many exhibitions inside, if you have Taiwanese ARC, you can get a discount to $150, and if you are a Taiwanese student, the ticket is free! (Please check the website or ask the museum before visiting as price may change)

The museum is very neat and well managed. the museum is good for art connoisseurs or for those who want to know the treasures of china in the past. From this museum, visitors will know more about relics and history. on the bottom floor, there is an area for children. This area uses interesting technology to introduce historical objects. the ticket price is 350nt for adult. There is moslem prayer room near the children area.

Was expecting a lot more of the visit. Majority of the exhibits were from the China emperor's collection. Artifacts were largely dated back < 1k years hence not greatly ancient. For an enormous place like this and with the entrance fee charged, was expecting more. The exhibits are spreaded over a few rooms in 3 floor area. No food is allowed and the wardens may check one's bag. Water bottles are allowed and there are multiple water coolers available for visitors to fill up. Toilets are also very conviniently reachable on every floor.

The National Palace Museum in Taiwan is a must-visit for all tourists in Taipei. The museum presents an amazing and comprehensive display of Chinese history and culture. The staff at the National Palace Museum are super nice and helpful, and everything is presented in English, making it easy for non-Chinese speakers to understand and appreciate the exhibits. While audio tours are available, it's better to read the descriptions as the audio spots are limited even in the English language. The museum is also an excellent destination for families with children. There is an interactive children's book available at the entrance, and the museum has spots and activities all over for kids to learn and play. Many families with children have enjoyed the museum, thanks to its engaging and educational exhibits. Overall, the National Palace Museum is a great place to learn about Chinese history and culture, and it's an experience that shouldn't be missed.

The night market is situated near Jiantian MRT station. The night market spread over the large area and it has cosmetic, food stalls, clothes, sports, watches, piercings sections. The night markets offers deliciously cuisine at affordable price. The night market is usually crowded at weekends. The night market has one beautiful temple. You need to take care while walking because the roads are home to scooters too. I didn't find Any restroom at the night market.

There are the roadside stalls, the carts along the road, and the market area where the food stalls are located at the basement and game stalls on the 1st floor. Must try the stinky tofu! Good variety of local food. Popular with tourists. Convenient location via MRT or bus.

The largest night market and most famous. There are long lines for some of the most popular food dishes but you don’t have to wait that long. Some of the food we tried were fried milk, pork pepper bun, beef cubes with pink salt, oyster omelet, pork ribs medicinal herbal soup, and mango shaved ice. Prices were cheap.

Went there just for their stinky tofu! The stall is not hard to find as you can smell something funny from far, which I think is the best indicator! It is nearby the red lantern temple. Tasted sooooo good!! Also the market is huge, full of street food vendors, clothing shops, arcades and even massage area! A must visit in Taipei!

It is crowded but definetly a nice nightmarket vibe! Also with the beautiful temple... I had a lemon juice, fried stinky tofu (try it at least once!), corn dog (so yummy) and grilled squid. Moreover, here are nice shops and also some candy shops with traditional candy for children. Really recommend that!

Shilin Night Market is one of the most popular night markets in Taipei, and for good reason. The food here is some of the best you'll find in the city, and it's definitely worth a visit. However, coming here after COVID, I did notice a significant decrease in the number of stalls available, which is the only reason I didn't give it a perfect score. Despite the decrease in the number of stalls, the food at Shilin Night Market is still amazing. There are plenty of must-try dishes here, but the standout for me was the fried chicken. It's crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Additionally, there are plenty of fair-style games to play, which can be a lot of fun. One thing to note is that the market can get incredibly crowded on weekends, which can be overwhelming. However, if you visit during the week, it's much more manageable, and you can enjoy the food and games without feeling too rushed or stressed. Overall, Shilin Night Market is definitely worth a visit if you're in Taipei. While there may be fewer stalls than there were before COVID, the food is still some of the best around, and there are plenty of fun activities to enjoy. Just make sure to visit during the week if you can to avoid the crowds.

Street food haven! This night market is for those curious and adventurous with local street food. My recos include sausage with rice bun, pork bao (caution: piping hot!), and passion fruit iced tea. The fried chicken was just OK. Stinky tofu was unbearably smelly.

Visited on 21 august from 430 to 630 pm. A lot of stores were closed due to coronavirus and lack of visitors but even at that early time there were a decent amount of food vendors open. Overall not very crowded with people. The underground food market was very sparse but the games area still had plenty of booths open to include shooting and throwing games and fish catching. Highly recommend the super cute Totoro egg biscuits!!!

One of the happening night market in Taipei, beware not to be scam by the market entrance part which seems sketchy. Walk to the back where the real night market unveiled. There you can find many local street food. Personal favourite was the Michelin rated pepper pork bun!

A really nice night market at the heart of Taipei — a lot of things to eat and buy. The real taste of what Taipei’s evening has to offer. Not to be missed during your itinerary to this wonderful city of wonderful commercial activities and people!

Probably the biggest night market, a giant network of intersecting streets, filled with food, games and merchandise. Walking or more like wandering though this area, I feel like a fish swimming in an ocean of food, eating and drinking my way though the current, like a blue whale scooping up plankton. Buy a beer at 6pm and wander for hours, get those steps in till the market closes up by 11pm. You've never gotten so much exercise just from eating dinner. Plus with the active calorie burn and sweat loss, rehydrate with another beer from seven 11! Don't forget to mix in water. (Gatorade or Pocari Sweat, if you aren't getting enough ions, though you should be getting plenty of salts with the foods). If that's not enough exercise, hit one of the many balloon darts games, of better yet the archery games! For those with less upper body strength, duel weld airsoft pistols for extra excitement!

Takes about 20 minutes up stairs hike, gets you to about more than half the height of Taipei 101. Great views all around Taipei, and can continue hiking for hours if like to many other trails.

It's a steep climb but offers a beautiful view of Taipei 101 tower along the way. Best to go there late in the afternoon to catch the sunset.

I climbed this at night and got great views of Taipei 101. It takes roughly 10-15 minutes to climb. You might see some cute cats along the way. On the topic of nature, I recommend bug spray as there could be mosquitos. Overall, a nice climb.

Very beautiful and organised zoo. It is huge and one should visit it in the morning only to make sure it is explored properly. We went there late so were unable to visit each and every corner. It has different areas for different animals of various regions. The ticket is also affordable. There are multiple food courts in the zoo, so no need to worry about carrying food and water.

Excellent experience. Kids had a blast. Only 60 NT per person and cheaper if you use your MRT card (40). Lots of places to get drinks and cool off. There are vending machines or convenience stores. The animals look well taken care of and my family enjoyed the animals very much.

A very big zoo and it has lots of animals ranging from little insects to big safari animals. It is great for all ages. Prepare to walk a lot and ready an umbrella for possible rainfall. There are trolleys for rent. The entrance fee is affordable

Nice zoo! Palace for chimp lovers! Lots of animals in different variety. Huge park and well maintained! Lovely place and couldn’t finish a complete walk there even spending the full day there. I will definitely revisit!! Tickets are also cheap that I am a bit worried if they can rely on it for park maintenance.

Incredible variety of animals, from Australian wildlife to African safari animals and panda bears. This zoo takes a whole day to venture through. Strollers recommended for kids, it’s a lot of walking. The bird area is fun because you see a large variety of birds in an open space setting, peacocks chilling in the same area as flamingos. Plenty of space for picnicking and rest areas. The Panda house closes at 5PM and they are adamant about getting people out at 5 but it’s so worth it because you can see 2 of the pandas that were born in the zoo. And the pandas are not shy about saying hi! Normally I feel sad about seeing animals in their cages, but these animals seemed pretty happy. Except for the penguins, they all seemed content to be living there. The penguins wanted out, and they have buckets placed in their caves so the penguins stand outside for visibility. Some of the penguins were just starring at the wall.

What a huge zoo to be explored in one day! It is not enough time in a day only to explore all of the areas though! But our kids very enjoyed every animals there. Educative and entertaining. The weather was very hot, so better to prepare hat and sunscreen and water bottle (many spots to refill).

Best 60 TWD ($2) spent ever! Panda, red panda, brown bear, white rhinos are all here 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 I am so awe with those cuties. The zoo is clean, greenery, well organized and easy to navigate everywhere. I would spend my every weekend at this zoo, just breath the fresh air and develop connections with the nature and all animals here. 100% in love. Tips: best time to visit zoo around 10-11am, not too crowded and animals show up.i

Taipei Zoo has various kinds of fauna spread over a vast area. We can see them in animal categories according to their natural habitat and origin. There are multiple animals from various continents, including pandas, koalas, and penguins, which are very rare to find. One of the highlights is their habitat which is very well preserved even in a zoo. It can be seen that cleanliness and safety are their concern. Food and drink stall areas are also scattered in many areas. Visitors can also enjoy this zoo on the train that connects the front and back areas. This zoo is very comfortable and friendly for small children to the elderly.

Cheap entry, free water fill stations all around the site. Amazing selection on of animals that all look really well looked after. The site is really easy to navigate, you also get a free map and lots of toilets around the the site. It’s also really easy to get to using MRT, Highly recommended

Really great observatory. I was impressed by the photo opportunity areas that had flower and picnic scenes you could put yourself in for some great photos with the view in the background. Best about them are that these were numerous and no extra charge. There were some nice exhibits on the construction, the dampening weight, and tower information. I liked the interactive touch screen where you can scan around and tap on and read about points of interest in several different languages.

Lots of people will say you haven’t officially visit taipei if you haven’t visit Taipei 101, well while you’re there, don’t forget to visit the observatory as well! I’d suggest to check the weather in advance, it was cloudy during my visit but the view was breathtaking nonetheless. You will have 360 view of Taipei, and I expect it to be amazingly gorgeous during the night as well with the night view of Taipei. You can also see the great earthquake pendulum, and understand how it works, how it manages to keep Taipei 101 safe from earthquakes. There are coffee shop and souvenir shops on the observatory level, but you can also sit around and enjoy the view without purchasing anything. Be careful of the pricing, because they have several different pricing; local people, international, student, ARC, etc.

Every tourist visiting Taipei should make an effort to visit the observatory. In my visit, it was a rainy day. They had closed off level 91's outdoor observatory given the weather. Nevertheless, the view from level 89 was good enough. There were not too much crowd during my visit hence was able to take my time in enjoying the sight. The other marvel is the lift. It only took about half a minute to get from level 5 to 89. Getting down was slightly slower at 45 seconds.

This was a great tourist attraction to go to. It looks beautiful at night. The price is about the same as any other major tourist attraction. I took off one star because we just missed the cut off time to do the skyline. Skyline is where you’re securely strapped and you can walk around outside at the very top. The views from the observation were stunning. Employees were nice and helpful.

Visited several times but this was the best because there was no line or crowd and we went at sunset on New Years Eve. If you are a foreigner with an ARC, you can receive the local admission rate, which is quite reasonable.

Pretty good. I bought the ticket on-site (600 NT for foreign visitors), people said booking it from Klook is cheaper. But, if you have ARC you'll get the local price, 400 NT something. Use it to explore the whole visitable area. I went on weekday (Friday), but it's so crowded, especially at night. Too bad the available seats aren't enough so some people enjoying the sunset/view while sitting on the floor. Inside the observatory floor, you'll find a small cafe for a cup of coffee, souvenir shops, vending machines, and tokens machine. You can go to the upper floor where you can enjoy the strong wind hitting your face in the open-space area. You can see it in my video, the wind is too strong to the point you can hear the screeching sound of it!

One of the fastest train in ride in less than 1min. Its quite pricey the ticket but its all worth it. The view are amzing and the mall is full of beautiful shops and very tasty foods.💯

I had the most incredible experience at the Taipei 101 observatory! The 360-degree view of Taipei is absolutely breathtaking, allowing me to truly appreciate the beauty of the city from a whole new perspective. The elevator ride was incredibly fast, whisking me up to the observatory in no time. I also loved that there were plenty of options for food and drinks on the 89th floor, making it a perfect spot to relax and indulge while taking in the stunning views. Although there is an additional fee to reach the 101st floor, it's well worth it for those seeking an even more elevated experience. Highly recommended!

Not crowded at all, pleasant experience with a 360° view of Taipei It's better to check the forecast and the visibility before to go. The outdoor observatory is closed on rainy days and the visibility is not good

Great experience! We went in the late afternoon and carried out visit into the evening. The observatory wasn't crowded, we had an opportunity to take our time taking pictures at the various photo opt locations atop the observatory created. Definitely a top destination in Taipei!

Absolutely spectacular at a relatively reasonable entrance fee compared to other top-high skyscrapers globally. Definitely a worth point to stop during your Taipei trip.

The experience up at the observatory was a nice one since we were able to catch the sunset. Wasn’t really prepared for it but when we were up there we saw lots of people already sitting at level 89 (indoors) with tripods. Fortunately, we went up to level 91 (outdoors) and captured the sunset. It was a disappointment at level 101 (indoors) as it addition to the base ticket (level 89, 91). The lights was just too bright and we were unable to take good pictures due to reflections on the glass windows. So it’s not recommended to pay additional money to go up level 101 unless you just wants lesser crowds and it’s bright day time.

Nov 2022 I want to mention that I only understand English, and I was taken here by my Chinese-speaking relatives. I do absolutely LOVE soup dumplings and this (international) chain is very famous for them. Note this place is very busy. We have visited 3 different locations at varying times of the day, and they always seem to have a long line of customers. The waiting time for dining in varied from 25-85 minutes (they have a digital sign by the entrance). Thankfully, takeout orders are faster. I do admit their soup dumplings are very good, but I do feel like it is a little expensive. Granted, they are a famous chain, and I understand that (1) soup dumplings are difficult to make, and (2) few people/stores are willing to make and sell them. I also admit my first experience with soup dumplings was years ago at a street market (which tend to have lower prices than stores). Still, I will be on the lookout for cheaper, still quality soup dumplings.

I came here with a friend as I wanted to check their vegan option. There was a long waiting line that can take up to 1 hour but we pass our time at the mall so we didn't really care. The restaurant is in traditional Chinese style, they have a clear vegan section on the menu that show all the options so it's very convenient. The service was lovely and the food was delicious. I took veggie dumplings and a bun filled with mushrooms and vegetables, both were good and went great with a bit of soy sauce and vinegar. One of my favorite dishes was the steamed spinach salad which was fresh and tasted great. Another dish I liked was a small pieces of tofu with soy beans soaked in a great sauce. For dessert, we took the rice cake filled with red beans that came warm and soft.

Great restaurant with a good vibe and perfect service. Waitress have been right at our site, as we needed something. The dumplings have been very good! The beef soup was how and tasty. The taroballs have been sweet and yummy. The fried rice was good and even better with the hot sauce from the wonton. The wonton with the hot sauce have been lovely spicy, but not to hot! We've been lucky and got directly a table for the four of us. Usually you have to stand in a line and wait a while until you get a table. As dessert, we've had some taroballs which are really good and mouthwatering. This place is 100 percent recommendable and for sure we come back somewhen. Din Tai Fung 101 is a chain restaurant with sides around the world. Give it a try, you will be happy and your wallet will thank you, as it is not really expensive. Once again, all in all 100 percent recommendable and worth to visit!

Food quality isn’t want it use to be, seems like they are just rinsing the hype now. The service was good and fast. We arrived at the restaurant at around 11 and got a table at about 12 (on a weekend) highly suggest to come earlier as the later people that came ended having to wait about 2 to 3 hours. The restaurant is loud as there are lots of children running around, that was a bit unpleasant.

As for the food, everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. The soup dumplings were amazing and you could see the chefs hand-making the dumplings in the kitchen from our table.

Excited to get to this Din Tai Fung as they had items not found in the US. Highly recommend coming early to get seated when they open. Came about 30 mins before they opened at 11am and was able to be seated right away. Wait time at 11 was about 35 minutes. Service was exceptional with tea refills coming frequently. The food came out fast, hot, and delicious.

It’s a global Taiwanese chain that is always consistent with great quality soup dumplings and other Taiwanese side dishes. Why not try it at the heart of 101! Similar to my experience in Hong Kong or Seattle, service is friendly and fast and food quality is great The only downside is wait during peak hours but you can always tour around 101 and mall aspects while you wait. You can’t really order wrong here. Menu does have pretty straightforward and accurate pictures. It is a little noisy inside but it’s not as bad as I thought it was going to be.

Very tasty dumplings! Also enjoyed their fried rice and noodles. The restaurant is large but very popular so expect to queue for a table. The process of queuing is very well organised. You collect a ticket, with different queues based on the number of people in your group. The ticket gives you an estimated wait time as well as a code to place your order online while you wait - saving you time when your table is available. The last order is at 8:30pm - you do not have to leave at this time, so would arrive by 19:45 latest if you want to have dinner there.

Each time we are in town, we always bring my daughter here, sometimes at 101, but mostly this place, for late lunch or dinner. It is always crowded and you have to take numbers and wait. Since this is the very first restaurant they have, it is most popular amongst tourists and visitors. The place is very small and going upstairs is not friendly at all for seniors or kids. The stairs are just too narrow. But it does not stop the visitors. I met the boss one time and he was working as a receptionist to tap my rain water off from my coat. What a humble person! You can use any language here. The one that served us was a Korean and she could use both Korean and Mandarin to talkie orders. Next table was served by a Japanese speaking waitress. Others had English or Mandarin and other unknown languages to me. The food is always good and your tea gets refilled very promptly without asking. They are always watching your needs and coming to assist when you need it. This is the best service I have ever had here. People complain about the price. But never complains both the service. Ignore these comments. You cannot have good price, good food, good service and pay little to get good people. It does not that way! Keep up the good work!

Very much worth the long wait every time. This place was one of the many highlights of my time in Taipei. The service was efficient and fast, while the food was delicious and always outstanding. Highly recommend ordering the cucumbers and green beans with minced pork along with the 小龍包 and 擔擔麵.

Highly satisfied dinning experience, especially for the restaurant environment. The food quality across all Din Tai Fung is the same with high standard from my experience so the food taste as good as usual. Big fan of shrimp dumplings, spicy wonton, fried rice and red bean cake. My all time favorites! Xinyi shop is a new one and the dining environment is amazing, bright, spacious and clean place. Even the restrooms are very clean and dry. Also, they take order while you waiting outside so make the waiting time feeling shorter by saving your waiting time for ordering when you have seats! I would definitely choose Xinyi if I want Din Tai Fung if possible haha

The restaurant is nearby the Dongmen station but on take out. No dine in option here, those like to dine can talk a 3 minutes walk from here to the Xinsheng Branch. The dumpling are cheap, served hot and the flavor is so tasty.

Our taxi driver suggested this place and it was just great. The wait outside was 40 minutes for lunch but well worth it. We had ordered on the web using their qr code and the items were in their system. Very well executed. Food was delicious and the service was great too. Prices very low for the whole experience. The desserts were memorable as well. Highly recommended.

The service here was pretty decent but they took more an hour to serve one drink when all other 9 dishes and food was already finished. We had reminded twice but the server took more than an just to serve it. Food and drinks here was pretty good compare to hello kitty cafes. My family like their fried wings thou as it tasted quite unique with scent of herbs. The drink was pretty but taste not bad also.

This cafe has a very cutesy atmosphere which I didn’t care about but my friend really enjoyed. I was glad that my food not only looked creative, but also tasted really good. The Caesar salad and hot matcha tea were both very satisfying. The prices are pretty high, which is to be expected since people are willing to pay for a specialty meal and some fun photos to post on IG.

We came here on a weekday afternoon for desserts. But because we happen to the location near Kyoto, I kind of hold some sort of expectation for the Taipei store. This is conveniently located near a major MRT station. Sure enough, the setting and decoration are vibrant and adorable. It’s filled with colorful throw pillows, Stuffed animals and character props. It also sells their endorsement items next to the cash register. The menu is full of character infused items, set menus, drinks and desserts alike. it’s interesting enough to flip through pictured menu itself. We ordered coffee and desserts and they were tasty and adorable. The price point might be a little on the high side. But it is overall a very relaxing and interesting experience. It is a nice place for family gatherings with children, and perfect for couples.

This cafe is very cute and well decorated with Rilakkuma theme and goods. This is the place for Rilakkuma fan, highly recommend. The dessert were surprisingly very good for the price around 160 to 200 NT. Food ranged from 320 to 360 NT which I think quite expensive and the test was mediocre at best. Also, service needs seriously improvement for that 10%; food is slow, toke us 20-30 minutes, we have to ask for water and refill a few times. In conclusion, just go here for dessert if you don't need that adorable photo. You can have something better at the metro mall with half the price.

85th floor Taipei 101 location offers spectacular views, and exceptional ambience and decor for a truly luxurious dining experience. The restaurant itself clearly deserves a 5 star rating, however, the food is not truly at the same level. My surf and turf, had somewhat dry lobster, and filet mignon that was a bit less tasty than what you would get at Morton's or the best teppanyaki for instance. My wife's wagyu steak, on the other hand, was much better. Fish appetizer was a standout, and the mushroom soup was also delicious. This is clearly one of the best dining locations in Taipei, but the food is a cut below the best, however still quite good. Prices on the holiday menu are eyewateringly high though, but the non-holiday menu seems quite reasonable. Live entertainment on Christmas Eve was nice!

I wouldn't spend this kind of money but mom wanted to come here. Food is pretty good and you'll get an amazing view if you're lucky. Staff is attentive and there's a live band. I deduct one star because this place is way too expensive. You will need to book ahead of time and pay 3000NT to reserve a table. When you're done eating, they'll deduct 3000NT off the bill for final payment. Tell them you're celebrating an anniversary and a birthday. You'll get something extra!

Food so far is really good, amazing view, the Service is great but; My friend is allergic to specific things in this case we told the staff that she is allergic to Mushrooms and that they need to take special care without orders, anyway she found Mushrooms in her soup and had an allergic reaction. I’m taking this very seriously so I took away one star.

1 star for the view, and 1 star for the table service. Good mushroom chowder, flavorful. Good duck breast salad, but a little bit chewy. What happened to the meshed potato, it needs urgent flavor, butter or salt, save them please. Pretty bad fettuccine, overcooked clay texture with chewy scallops.

You need to pay NT400 and queue for yhe observatory. Typically one won’t stay at the top of the tower for long since it’s crowded. Why not just enjoy the scenery with a delicious meal, with a jazz and Italian feel?

It's placed on the 85th floor and it takes 36scds for you to get there from the ground floor to the 85th! despite the fact, it's an Italian restaurant, I found it rather Asian restaurant than Italian! when you hear Italian restaurant you usually expect to hear Italian music but all I heard from the time I got till I left was typical Chinese music!

This was my second time here (last time was dinner). I would say the view is the main attraction of the restaurant. The food is pretty good, though also not Michelin-level in terms of richness of flavor. My Australian wagyu was recommended at 50% well-doneness, but came out surprisingly chewy. The two lobster halves we had were on the dry side. The service is not as attentive as I would have liked, as the waiter failed to notice my wife’s water needed adding. But having said all that, my kids loved coming here for the second time (it was actually their request), so if you set your expectations for view > food & service, you’ll enjoy yourself here.

The homemade bread with crab meat sauce is great🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 It’s a perfect place for chatting and enjoying the night view with delicious dishes. In addition to the dining area, even the restroom offers a cityscape view! The overall dining environment is clean and comfortable, creating a cozy atmosphere.

Good food and great ambience. It is expensive but food is tasty. Good place to celebrate special occasions like anniversary, birthday etc. They offer tea time dinner as well. Overall we had a great time there. Delicious food with great sitting arrangement and ambient lighting. The idea of having dinner, lunches in inside area is a great one in this season. There is ample of space in the restaurant and parking for atleast 30 tables. Service was prompt and the staff was very polite. They followed the food preference religiously that we gave them during ordering dinner. All in all a great place to dine.

Went here for a birthday dinner and the experience was pretty good. It was busy right from opening time but the service was still decent and the food was good. The serving sizes for dishes are not big enough for a larger group so if you want everyone to try you should order 2 of each dish if you have more than 3-4 people.

This place is a gem! If you’re vegetarian idk where else you can enjoy the full dim sum experience. Please if you’re a vegetarian/vegan visiting Taipei this is a must try! You could get the traditional dim sum dishes (siu mai, cheng fun, xia long bao) as well as some creative ones. You can taste that their ingredients are well chosen, and everything is made freshly.

🌱A vegetarian’s review🌱 This all-vegetarian restaurant offers enough options to probably come 4-5 times and eat different dishes every time. The food is really delicious, but I was a bit disappointed by the amount of options that were sold out. We only ordered from the chef’s recommendation menu, the general menu had lots of interesting food too. The service is good, and the place is clean. It’s a bit pricy, so better to keep this one for a special occasion. It can get busy so it’s good to make a reservation.

Suffered from stomachache with dry throat immediately afternoon dim sum tea set. Definitely caused by MSG, gluten and perhaps canola oil too. Fried noodles and deep fried dim sum dishes were very oily. Wrappers of steam dumplings, steam rice noodle rolls were thick, not authentic thin cantonese style. Such a pity!! Was so excited to finally able to book a table after reading so many good reviews about this vegetarian restaurant in Taipei. Excellent location with easy access for customers with mobility restrictions. During the meal, thought the Chinese tea, food varieties, presentation, taste, ambiance, attentive service were great. (Hence, that’s why I rated 3 instead of 2 stars) However, HUGE disappointment :-(… unexpected stomachache and dry throat to follow that lasted for two days. Be aware, if you have sensitive stomach or MSG intolerance.

I was impressed with this vegetarian🌱 dim sum restaurant. It was quite packed when I arrived on a weekday for lunch. Seemed to be popular with the older generation. The staff would thoughtfully ask whether anyone has any dietary restrictions against eggs, milk or honey. For a dim sum restaurant, the selection of vegetarian dishes is quite extensive. The pine nut & vegetable cheese roll was quite light & refreshing. The mixed vegetables crispy roll was like a long thin spring roll, where the accompanying dipping sauce gave it a fruity flavour. The Shanghai xiao long bao was made with vegan pork and tasted real. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor, just above Songjiang Nanjing station exit 8. The lift is at the burgundy coloured wall next to nozomi bakery & patisserie.
