Split

History, culture, and nature make Croatia’s second-largest city a place you will never forget. In the center of Split’s old town, Diocletian's Palace is a huge Roman palace that includes one of the finest collections of Roman artifacts in Europe. To the north, you'll find Marjan Hill park, with its pine trees and panoramic views. The best time to visit Split is from June to September, when you can soak up the warm and sunny weather of the Adriatic coast.
