This museum is the largest we have visited in Shanghai so far. We spent a whole day there. It has four stories, with entire wings dedicated to chinese bronze, jade, calligraphy, money, ceramics, furniture and Chinese paintings. The most fun part is its gift shop. It has replicas of the exhibits available to purchase (vases, beautiful tea cups, paintings, even bronze containers) if you can afford it.

Great place to visit if you like history and culture. I really enjoyed the museum. The entrance is free and it's also located in a beautiful park. You will feel every bit of history has they have carefully collected and kept each piece.

Big pot shaped building just at the side of famous Peoples Square of Shanghai had enormous collections depicting Chinese history. The building architect was inspired by the priceless big circular tripod pot with two ears bronze vessels called Da Ke Ding from Zhou dynasty (1046-771 BC). Inside of the building looked glistening with granites, marbles & art works. A lot of rooms were exhibiting various periods of Chinese cultures & arts. Basically, it was a modern world class museum in ancient style building showing historical priceless Chinese cultural relics.

A "MUST SEE" FOR VISITORS TO SHANGHAI The Museum is a very well curated collection of amazing items from China's long history. Its free and open every day except Monday. Tour guides will advise that a passport is needed for entry but we were able to enter with no ID at all. You can get a free (English) audio guide - for this you'll need to leave a 400 Yuan refundable deposit (or leave some ID such as drivers licence or ...yes.. your passport!) Its an oasis of cool and quiet and you can easily spend a few hours here marvelling at the age and beauty of the exhibits. Good printed guides in Chinese and English. Guided tours offered but with the audio guide I think you better off doing it yourself and spending time on the things that intrigue you the most. There is a good cafe inside (with good coffee!) and on each floor you will find a souvenir shop with some good (easily packed) treasures to take home :) There is security screening on entry. This museum will not present any problems for people with mobility issues as it has level floors and lifts and escalators. Nearest Metro train station is People's Square (a fair walk just the same which can be tiring in the hot, sticky weather).

This museum gathers traditional and modern Chinese art and culture. The rare cultural pieces are from different decades and centuries. You will not have to pay for entrance. But if you will you can pay for an audio guide for your visit. Inside the building, the combination use of granite, marble and artwork is really inspiring. The museum has a collection of over 120,000 pieces. It has 11 galleries and 3 special temporary exhibition halls. It took me 3 hours to visit. Hopefully, it was not crowded.

Be aware , Monday is holiday in most visiting places so avoid any plans. But, these area are best mentioned and will mesmerise you fullest to core on its view and maintainance. Do explore best flowinring dring season and never miss a opportunity here to visit if you are in shanghaim

This is a really tall tower! We took a futuristic elevator up to the 100th floor where there was an observation deck made of glass. You can look down below and see all the cars driving on the road, they look like ants. If you are afraid of heights, it might be your worst nightmare but it was a cool experience.

As an architect who grew up admiring many of the world's tallest towers, getting to see this amazing tower in person was a dream come true. Save your money for the Shanghai tower viewing deck. If you want to go visit the SWFC, there are bars inside on really high levels. I would really recommend that. I had a few beers with a colleague up there and it was incredible.

Great views and an amazing glass walkway where you can see below you. If you are nervous about heights the glass may scare you but this is an amazing experience and was not busy when we went in June.

We have been to many observatories and this has been one of our favorite. Sheer glass and modernity from the futuristic elevator to the all glass deck that you can see below and beyond. Best to visit at dusk and stop by the cafe until evening to catch two views for the price of one.

Xintiandi is the upscale end of the French Concession, the better end is arounf Dongping and Yueyang Lu, lovely architecture and neighbourhood most times you can forget your in CHina by the Number of Expats that live here

Now is commercial shops in heritage buildings

Very nice market in the old Shanghai Street maze. It might feel a bit as a tourist trap but it’s worth going just to get the idea of the old times. Moreover, some shops are really nice and you can find typical souvenirs with a bit more local flair. Here no bargaining and you can pay with card in most shops. Many restaurants or food stands as well. Close to the metro stop.

An ancient village in the heart of Shanghai. Its a beautiful authentic old part of Shanghai that still looks unouched and is the best spot get some food and gift, also get lovely photoshoot.

Amazing place where you can appreciate the real culture of China, you can enjoy delicious food, buy presents, I did the Pearl tea tour what I highly recommend if you go to Shanghai. It is a very memorable experience for me. 👌🎊

Like a traditional market in Shanghai, a lot of thing to see and buy here, I think this one only for tourist, local people don't come here for shopping!

"Shaghai's well kept art and craft enclave" Most of the area around Shanghai was renovated as a plan of city development however Tianzifang is the only place which keeps its old heritage till now. Walking along the way I could see lot of art stores, bars, design stores, restaurants on either sides of the road. The historic buildings are still maintained and most of the place is filled with art galleries promoting their sales. Even though this is one of the main tourist spots in Shanghai and has lot of crowd all through out the day but its still kept well clean and maintained, even the smaller streets around this area. I was walking along the street going through every snack stores and trying out their free samples. I really enjoy spending time in places like these. This is a small place and the amount of time can be spent can not be estimated. By looking at the restaurants &a bars it was safe to say that this is a place of interest for foreigners than the locals. Most of them either enjoying the food & beverages while reading books and somewhere enjoying the art and interacting with the artists.

The market with lots of souvernier, cheap, recommend to go and have experience

You do not have to be a kid or have kids to enjoy Disneyland. Great park and great rides. The pirates of Caribbean 4D ride is one of its kind and only at this Disneyland… i was completely blown away by it. Food options are very limited, especially if you’re vegetarian! Otherwise a great experience and must visit.

This is amazing. First time been here, it was a great experience. Despite the weather, it was also a good time spending there alone, watching people having fun and lots of characters from Disney world. The most memorable is you can line up to take photos with them and having conversations with them as well. Recommend!!

First time here & it was awesome! I spent two days. First day I focused on shows & parades and whatever rides I could squeeze in before opening or that had short lines. The second day I paid for the Premier Pass & got on all the rides I didn’t do done! Totally worth it! It was hot & humid so be prepared! Castle is huge! Must go inside! Pirates of the Caribbean - WOW! Had to do it twice! After the fireworks I ran over to do it again as my last ride of the night! No line! Treasure Cove & all their Pirate Ships & decor were on point! Also, Shanghai is the only other Park that has a Club 33 😉

A place where dreams come true. Disney outdid themselves yet again. People who regularly visit the American parks might be a little disappointed at the smaller offering here, but for two Australians we were absolutely blown away. Every land within the park has a unique atmosphere and character, the character actors are so much fun to interact with, and the food is incredible! We found it easy to navigate even with no understanding of Chinese. Ride highlights for us were Tron, Soaring, and the Rapids. Unfortunately for us, Pirates was closed on our visit.

We had a wonderful time. The park is smaller than some other Disney parks but it is loads of fun! We especially enjoyed Tron and the parades, food, as well as hotels are top notch! Plan in advance and if you are a foreigner you need to bring your passport! A favorite is Pirates of the Caribbean ride! It is better than others I have been to at other Disneyland parks, make sure to check it out!

This was our last Disneyland in Asia and the experience wasn’t magical at all. It was too hot to stay outdoor and it was during students holiday so the park was packed with families and children. Because of that the queue was VERY VERY LONG (200 hours for famous ride). And the people.. I’m not trying to be racist or what here but they are not great. I never see any Disney that people try to cut the queue ALL THE TIME. Every corner you turn, they will try to walk pass you so we had to block every turn. They would stand very very near you to the point that you can feel their breathing behind your neck or hear the sound of them chewing gummy bear. On the other hand, the staffs here are amazing with handling things like that. If they see people cut line they would shout right away and escort them out no matter how deep the queue they got. And if you inform them that someone cut your queue they would take it very seriously as well, no further questions asked. They would go directly to that person and asked a few question and those people probably aren’t a good liar so they got chase out of the line. Overall, Big park, great rides, the merchandises are cheap and wide selection, worst timing to be here, people aren’t great, the staffs have to be strict so the park becomes not so magical. 6/10. Will i comeback? maybe. but not this season or holiday anymore for sure.

This Disney park has also more to offer for adults than the usual Disneys. During covid-19 times, it is open but required to register and buy ticket in advance. I recommend to buy ticket at least 2-3 days in advance, otherwise it will all be booked, especially on weekends. You cannot buy ticket there, unless there are some free spaces, chances are very low. Also, recommend to download the local Disney app. It has all the maps and information. Since the amount of guests is limited, no need to buy fast lane pass and waiting times are very short compared to usual. The attractions are interactive, but most of them in Chinese only. However you can still understand the context. Don‘t miss the parade (afternoon) and fireworks in the evening! The coolest thing is the park to climb - you can chose the level you want, there are 3 levels from very easy to very hard. You have to leave your stuff in a cabinet you get and you will be secured so there is no risk to fall down. Also, the food there is very tasty and the prices are ok. You can buy very cute Mickey Mouse ice cream or pretzel and pop corn (mostly sweet). The staff there is very friendly and speaks good English. Cool spots to take photos. Very good experience.

For solo traveler, half day trip. Try these 3 and thanks me later. 1.Tron. 2.Pirates of the Caribbean. 3.Soring over the horizon Plus their famous Ice-Cream. Good enough to handle your time to Airport at 10:00 pm departure flight🫰🏻

One of my favourite amusement parks. Very nice, everything looks amazing and the staff does everything they can to help you. Their Pirates of the Caribbean ride is definitely the best there is

A massive amazing park. Expect large queues, but you won’t be disappointed once you're in. Amazing Summer Blast show, and plenty of street parades. Well worth staying late for the fireworks as well

A truly extraordinary restaurant. The interior is wonderful and successfully accompanies the foods Southwestern Asian origins. It is rather on the expensive side, and the waiters overcharged us for water, keep an eye out for the prices of drinks… Apart from that it is a must visit when in Shanghai, arriving around 2pm without a booking on a weekday, there were plenty of tables empty. There were some private dining rooms available, with spinning tabletops and exclusive decor. It is accompanied by a coffee shop on the floor below, which dies NOT carry the same atmosphere.

Restaurant serving particular SW Chinese cuisine. In Shanghai they have 3 branches. Going there is never disappointing as the food is really delicious and they present it in a very nice way. Not too spicy. Do make a reservation when going with a group, just one or two persons can easily find a table without.

The place is beautiful, very mysterious and gorgeous traditional chinese interiors, and the food was amazing! Best food in Shanghai! Worth the visit!

Such a beautiful Yunan restaurant, this is my first time having authentic Yunan food. Is just absolutely delicious, highly recommend to come and go for a walk at The Bund after which is just around the corner. Definitely a must go when you are in Shanghai.

I absolutely love this place! It’s good to be back after covid. It’s packed and the quality is still very good. A great selection of Yunnan dishes that never gets old.

The food is incredible with a wonderful use of spices and ingredients. The tastes are so unique and beautifully blended to create a fantastic burst of flavours. Don't go alone. The food portions are big and great for sharing so that you can have a sampler of the many delish dishes. Not a single one disappointed us. The place is dimly lited and not the best for a corporate dinner. Reservations are a must so book early to avoid disappointment. A group just ahead of us had to be turned away and it was only 6pm.

It's a nice place to have dinner if you are a foreigner in Shanghai, everything is well adapted to western use, English menus and waiters and they take foreign credit cards. The food was good but I felt I was in a Chinese restaurant out of China, adapted to the western taste. Still, nice decoration and the restaurant is in a good location.

I was afraid it would be too touristic but possitively surprised. Spacious, stylsh and tasty dishes. The guy serving us was great and professional. Yunnan kitchen. Spicy or not spicy, all good options

Very beautiful and special interior decor. But food was not very tasty. Every dish we had tasted of coriander. The place was almost full at 8:30pm on Saturday but seems like all were foreigners.

Awesome food with huge pricetag. Food was fabulous though! The bread came warm and toasted served with a side of butter. Foie gras came in a huge slab, served with a side of arugula. The bread combined with foie gras & arugula was perfect! Next we had the truffle bread oooomg this was amazzzzingly yummy. Generous amount of truffle slices so so fragrant. Lobster Bisque topped with fried dough fritters was fabulous. Super rich and flavourful. Fish in broth dish was the only disappointing dish as it was wayyyy too salty. Fresh prawns were huge and delicious, barely needed any of the dipping sauce. The main star was grilled meat omg soooooo juicy and bursting with flavour. The rub on the meat was just perfect. Served with asparagus. Overall ambience was great. Service was top notch as we came in a large group. The restaurant had 2 outdoor areas looking over the jawdropping view. Will recommend this place for celebrations or on a holiday!

Really great experience overall. The view from the restaurant is one of the best views from the Bund, you can see East Nanjing all light up at night and it’s amazing. Food is really good, and the service was attempt and nice. Definitely a must if you are in Shanghai.

A great dining experience. The place is superbly located with a view on a French-Concession style street. The service was prompt and the staff super friendly. The food was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant as a place to try out the shanghainese cuisine.
