This is the prettiest plaza I've ever visited. It's a perfect place to people watch, enjoy street shows, or marvel at the architectural beauty. They even filmed part of Star Wars here because of its unique beauty. Aim to get to the second floor of the plaza to enjoy the sunset and overview of the plaza. Skip the boat rides, they're kit worth the wait.

Beautiful place! You can go to the second floor that overlooks the plaza, which has a great view. Also, I recommend coming here after a quick stop at a nearby supermarket, in which you can buy some supplies for a picnic. It's a great way to see and enjoy this park!

A must-see if you are in Sevilla! The plaza itself is huge and airy and the giant curved building that surrounds it is stunning. The light at all times of day is quite a sight to see, and the intricate details within the architecture are nice. Sitting by the fountain on a hot evening is a wonderful way to cool off a bit. Highly recommended!

Stunning park about 10 minutes taxi ride from the centre of town. The architecture of the semi-circle plaza is grand and picture-worthy from every angle. Given the time of day we visited (2:30pm), the place was pretty empty because of the heat, but the sunny conditions made for great picture taking. I would say that you need no more than 30 minutes here, but of course if you want to enjoy the nearby park then your stay could be longer. Definitely worth the trip, absolutely beautiful place!

I absolutely loved visiting this place in Seville, more than any of the other attractions. Just roaming the halls, going through the amazing artwork on the walls, all of it felt like such a great experience. Come here first thing in the morning!

Wow! Absolutely beautiful! The Plaza and the Cathedral are some of the best sights in Spain. Highly recommend adding this to your itinerary. There are tours, or you can walk around the property yourself for free.

If you're in Sevilla, this is a place you've got to do on top of your bucket list. Literally, a beautiful park and plaza, to stroll around and walk, get a nice breather of fresh air. The semi-circle curved building is absolutely stunning, well kept and has the best scenery you can imagine, just get a peak at the pictures! Highly recommend coming here early in the morning when the weather is beautiful, the sun isn't too hot and there's perfect lighting to get the most out of it. Once done from the Plaza, i would also recommend strolling through the park and heading out around. Perfect place, perfect view and unbelievably breath-taking.

A magical place you must see if you are passing through Seville. An architectural jewel that represents each of the places in Spain through its tiles. I had the opportunity to see a flamenco group that was playing nearby and gave a huge plus to my experience. It is definitely an iconic place.

AMAZING! So much beauty in the architecture. Lovely tile facades, spires and towers. The grand size makes it even more impressive. This is completely free and the best part of Seville! Perfect for photos.

Beautiful and unique monument in Seville with an interesting history. It was built for the 1929 world's fair and has been in use ever since. It's a fun place to wander and look at each city's bench. Entry is free. It's a pretty busy area so early morning may be best for pictures.

Incredible palace. One of the best I’ve seen in Europe. The gardens are exquisite and pleasant to stroll through. We arrived at 11:30 (buy tickets online to avoid the ticket line) and we entered with a lot of people. Within an hour everyone dispersed and it felt somewhat empty. The weather was amazing so we spent a lot of time in the gardens. Don’t forget to check out the maze. That’s a fun thing to do. After spending some time with the peacocks and checking out the bathhouses, we made our way back inside and revisited the many different rooms as well as the bath house. Everything is so well maintained and the entire facility is its own maze but well worth the visit and worth getting lost inside. My favorite room was the tapestry room. That contained tapestries from several hundred years ago and also told stories from great battles to eloquent religious images. Upstairs contained the plates, dishes, tiles, and other smaller items. It also included great views of the courtyard as well as other views of the gardens. As you near the exit of the property, there’s a really nice cafe and the exit puts you in another courtyard with lots of street art and vendors selling cool goodies. We bought a picture/painting so now my wife gets to lug that around for the rest of our trip lol

We visited here in 2019 and again today. I loved it the first time and just as much the second time too. It’s an amazing palace and gardens. So much to look at. Seville was pretty quiet when we visited in July but this was the one place that was busy, although we queued for 30 mins for a ticket to enter immediately- so better than our previous visit in March. The palace is more busy than the gardens and on the second visit we spent more time outside sitting in the tranquil gardens. Easy to spend a delightful 3 hours here.

Bought tickets on line but very quiet the day I visited, so was able to walk straight in. Some stunning architecture; don't forget to look up and check out the beautifully ornate ceilings! One of the highlights for me was walking around the gardens. Free entry, but not until after 4pm, on a Monday; may try next time, but for a first visit, give yourself plenty of time to wander around leisurely. (I was there for nearly 4 hours - recommend you take drinks and snacks, to sit and enjoy in the gardens).

Highlight of Seville and a must! Allow a good few hours to take it all in and explore leisurely as it gets very busy! We visited around lunchtime and by mid afternoon it was very busy and the queue outside was huge. The architecture and gardens are stunning. You can see why this is a popular backdrop for film and TV. We could have happily stayed here all day to take in the sights. Its stunning.

Great experience, got visit a part of history. The architecture is fascinating. You could see the different eras that have lived and passed through it. The gardens are so beautiful, and each one is special to an era of history. I'm giving it 4 stars because as the payment is done by card only it creates a bit of a hassle for tourists that have cash only so I've seen people on the line with me that have left for this reason.

Such an amazing place to have visited! Really fascinating to visit this old palace and it’s immaculately kept gardens which are well worth a visit. Peacocks roam the grounds adding to the beauty and there’s a lot to explore. Really interesting architecture as well which dates back thousands of years.

Absolutly wonderful! If you tend to take your time and go slow (like me) plan on this visit being at least a solid 2 hours of your day. Everything is SO beautiful it is amazing. I didn't get the ticket that includes the royal rooms because those get booked up in advance, but don't worry if you can't either, the general ticket is so worth it as well. Don't miss this on your trip to Sevilla!!

We bought our tickets online same day (it’s typically a little cheaper to buy online) We bought our tickets at 9:50 am on a Monday for 10:30 am entrance. We walked in at 10:15am. It is a lot bigger than it looks, so be prepared for a lot of walking. It’s beautiful and has so much history. There is so much to look at you could easily spend a few hours there. The garden is giant, it has a small cafe and gift shop. There are ducks and peacocks walking around. The audio tour was 6€ on an app you can buy once you enter. I do recommend going early (if in the summer) because it gets very hot as the day progresses. We spent 2hours looking at everything and eating at the cafe and I still don’t think we saw everything, but we saw enough that I don’t feel like we missed anything.

A true must see in the heart of Seville, you do not want to be frugal on this one, it is really worth it. Beautiful place no matter where you go and very big too, it could be hard to visit every room and garden without a map (which you can take at the entrance). Apart from the magnificent interior and gardens, you can find many peacocks just chilling somewhere near the trees and bushes. And for the tickets it would be smart to buy them in advance.

A very large lovely city park in the heart of Seville. The lush greenery with many rose gardens, trees from around the world and so many orange trees. Take time to notice the many green parrots flying around and notice the beautiful banyan trees. At the duck pond we saw many varieties of ducks with their ducklings but the highlight was a beautiful white swan sitting on a nest of 5 eggs with her male close by. A lovely place to stroll and lay in the grass before or after visiting the Plaza de Espana.

It’s probably the most beautiful park I’ve visited in Spain - I’m absolutely in love with the giant trees they have all over the park. There are plenty of places to sit and relax or just look at the many ducks/swans that live here. The park is well maintained, it’s clean and has several bins around. I wish we’d have more parks like this in every city - modern parks tend to have more concrete and small-growing trees unlike here. One suggestion would be to place the information about the trees in English as well.

Sevilla is probably the most beautiful city in Spain, excluding Madrid and Barcelona, even it's questionable as well. Really impressive Palace as all city. You must see it for sure.

Big fan of this park! It’s massive and there are tons of places to sit, take pictures, and embrace the nature around you. You can take a row boat out or watch ducks/birds. It’s nice for walking and probably running if you’re into that.

Whilst in Seville on vacation last week, I went through this beautiful park after visiting the Plaza de Espana. It's all interlinked by gates too. Stunning area with trees, avenues, museums (at far end), mini plazas, fountains, statues and waterfalls. Plenty of shade from the Sun too. Refreshment stalls around too in places though not used. Well recommended.

One of the most beautiful parcs that I have visited. Many different parts with lots of room to chill on the grass. It has beautiful altars all over the place and lots of different trees. Next to that, it has beautiful buildings and great fountains. You can walk here for hours and still find new things. It's awesome

A nice park covering a large area with plenty of green space to sit, walk. The trees are amazing with a variety providing shade on sunny days. The park is filled with runners, walkers, explorers on their feets, in horse driven carriages, rental bikes. The entry to the park is free and there are many interesting areas like the waterfalls, various buildings. One could spend 3 hours to more than half a day wandering through the park and having a picnic. It's recommended to bring water as there are limited shops in the park.

Beautiful palace. We spent just under an hour looking around. Lovely architecture. Furman Gardens were well maintained.

A renaissance gem of a palace that is loaded with Roman artifacts and statues. It has beautiful gardens and in many way ushered the renaissance into Spain. There are so many interesting things in this museum. You can use your phone as an audioguide and it really enhances the experience. You really cannot miss this palace during your visit.

Beautiful palace in Sevilla. Make sure you download an audio guide and be prepared to spend at least couple of hours there. I promise you won’t want to leave before you have seen it all! Collection of wall tiles is one of the best in the world. Lots of statues and artifacts from the Roman Empire. Gardens where you want to just sit down and contemplate. Also make sure to book you visit to the upper floor in advance - it is impossible to get there without prior reservation

The building showcases a pleasant blend of architecture with a lot of elements and decorations. But for us was a bit disappointing the garden was normal considering the other gardens we have seen in Seville and the second floor was closed for the time we were there leaving little to explore and see. It didn't feel worth the time and money invested. I other places we were able to get students tickets but here there is no option for that. So my suggestion will be to make it your last station after visiting the other places.

A very beautiful mansion that is well worth visiting. You also have free audioguide included in the ticket, which is nice. To access it, scan the QR-code on the ticket. The architecture is stunning and the gardens are really beautiful. Lots of trees and statues, feels immersive and historical indeed. Mind you that the upper/roof floor is temporarily closed.

Few days ago I visited Casa Pilatos in Seville and was impressed by the stunning architecture of the palace. The intricate details and beautiful design elements made for a truly impressive sight. Very handy was audio guide that is included with ticket (€10) so I could easily go around and listen all about history and architecture of this amazing place in my own pace. Every room I explored was filled with history and beauty, from the grand staircase to the stunning gardens. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to Casa Pilatos in Seville for anyone interested in architecture and history. It's a stunning palace with a rich history and a must-visit destination in Seville.

Beautiful museum in the center of Sevilla! The ticket price is only 1 euro and is definitely worth it to see all the amazing Spanish art pieces. The upstairs floor has a large collection of sculptures and more paintings, so definitely check that out. Aside from the art, there are many courtyards where you can sit down and enjoy the fresh air.

The museum is reported to have the second largest collection of Spanish religious paintings, after the Prado of Madrid. I was impressed by Murillo, and a few paintings regarding the life of Sevilla. The building itself is very enjoyable too. Nice and friendly staff. There is a market of local artists outside the museum. Since the museum is free, why not get a piece to support the locals?

A free to enter museum with a EU passport, we were able to wander through a magnificent exhibition of religious art by one of Sevilles greatest exponent from the 17th Century. The statues were exceedingly lifelike and the paintings were real works of art. Well worth the 2 hours we spent which seemed like half an hour. Highly recommend.

Very pretty museum and very cheap to enter (€1.50). A lot of religious art which was interesting but you have to really love it to fully appreciate it because it's a lot of the same thing. The museum itself is pretty and well thought out to follow a route without getting lost. It's not huge so if you have a spare hour and it's raining (only rained one day out of 4!) Then it's a good place to seek shelter and experience some Sevillian art!

Great collection and one of the rooms is quite spectacular - enormous paintings in a cathedral-like gallery. Free entry for EU citizens is very nice too but it's only a euro or two for everyone else.

Amazing museum featuring Sevillano artists from the last 500+ years spanning renniassance, baroque, and rococo styles. This was one of the highlights of my trip to Seville and entry is free for EU citizens or 1 euro for visitors. Such beautiful works and a wonderful window into the history of Seville! Definitely a must-see in my opinion

It was sooo great. I am not a European, so I had to pay. But only 1.5 euros!!! And I could not see the all paints because I was so hungry. This place is so underestimated. If you have some interest in arts, you should be there. Que envidía you guys

If you like brooding religious painting from the 16th century half as much as I do, then you will have a great time here. There are some cool sculptures to. Their realistic sculpture of the severed head of John the Baptist is way better than the one at the Cathedral in Seville. Seriously though, it was less than 2 bucks to get in, and they had free lockers. Only takes around an hour to see it all. Worth your limited time in Seville.

Stayed 7 Days in one of the apartments. All new and clean and modern, perfect and comfortable bed. Quiet air conditioning. Safe.TV . Fully equipped kitchen (if someone has the idea to cook there) . Small shop around the corner. Breakfast also possible, but perfect Spanish style breakfast at nearby San Lorenzo Square. We dinned twice in the restaurant , one needs to book In advance as there is high demand for this lively restaurant. excellent quality of dishes and tapas and wine.We will come back for sure.

Hard to get a reservation but worth the effort. Amazing elevated tapas. Excellent service. Every bit as good as the hype. Honey ribs, egg yolk on spongecake, cuttlefish pastry, croquettes all were delicious as was everything else we tried. Let your server choose a few of his favorite tapas for you.

Warning: Make reservations weeks or months in advance to get the time slot you want to dine. The food is DELICIOUS and worth the drive outside the touristy area. The grilled octopus with mashed potatoes was so good. Also the tenderloin with blue cheese sauce was cooked to perfection. Chickpeas and spinach is a good starter. The honey ribs were good but a bit too sweet for my taste. Great selection of wines and the whites come cold. Subtle and clean modern decor. The service was very friendly and fast. Highly recommend!

Fantastic restaurant serving traditional food with a distinct modern edge. Beautiful tapas (deep fried anchovies, courgette cake, sirloin with blue cheese sauce) and the best ever slow cooked lamb. What a feast! Booked our table more than 3 months ago, so pleased I did!

In 10 days have eaten here 4 times. Worth the wait, found it impossible to reserve. The food, tapas, availability of wine by the glass and the service from the staff are outstanding. As a person who absolutely loves tripe I can say they have the best tripe I have ever eaten. Wish I could get the recipe.

Fantastic in every way. A true highlight of our trip to Servile. You need to book at least a month in advance to get a table but if you do you will not be disappointed. Fantastic service, amazing food and wine and the 3 milk cake was outstanding!!

Elevated tapas bar, style setting and very fast paced behind the scenes. It’s like a theatre production watching the chefs and front of house staff all working in harmony. Food was excellent, squid ink cigar was the best thing I’ve eaten all year. Clams were so flavourful ate every last one. Popular spot waiting is expected, I ate standing in between others but it was an amazing food experience eating here. 🇪🇸

The food was amazing and delicious. We had the salmon, beef tapa, the egg yolk dish to name a few. The four of us tried around eight different dishes between us and enjoyed every one. I was surprised when the bill came and I had to check it as I thought that they may have missed something off, but they hadn't.

Super busy restaurant that is hard to get into during peak hours. If you are okay with going midday during siesta just to try out the place, there is almost no one there. Highlights are the egg York and the honey ribs. My partner tried the sangria and he said it was excellent. Friendly staff as well.

Incredible ice cream- the cheese ice cream is genuinely the best dessert I think I’ve ever had. Before this we had some traditional tapas and took a few risks too and all of it was superb. Seville is a fantastic city for food but this is at the very top.

An absolute must in Sevilla! The price/value ratio is unbeatable, all 3 dishes I tried were equisite - the cigarillo and sweet ribs deserve special mention. Service is top though as others advised, reservations are strongly recommended. They did operate a waiting list the night I went so it's possible to put your name down, go out for drinks and come back later.

Went without a reservation and waited for a seat at the bar, but it was worth the wait! All the food we ordered was phenomenal, for me it was the truffle egg! It was so well balanced and just divine. My husband especially loved the cigar. We found the service hit and miss depending on the waiter but it was also very busy and the food is that good to compensate the wait.

Eslava creates delicious tapas. They are one of the few tapas restaurants I visited where I felt like my food was an experience. Each dish is beautifully crafted and attractive on the plate. The flavors are memorable, vibrant, and creative. It is the best value for taste I've had in Europe given how cheap their prices are. They have the best croquettes I've eaten. You really need to reserve a table a week or more in advance if you don't want to wait in line for an hour or more.

Fantastic experience, we had no booking and walked up. Was advised simply to wait by the bar for a seat and within 10mins we were sat at the bar. It proved to be one of the best dinning experiences I’ve ever had. Authentic to its core. Majority of patrons were Spanish, a real feeling of local community. The staff were excellent and looked after us attentively but relaxed even through our server didn’t speak English and we Spanish. We sat back and allowed our man to chose the wine and dish of the day. The food came when ready and was fresh and tasted beautiful. 5/6 courses with 3 glasses of wine and lovely port to finish for less than 100 euro. The local community feel, amazing service and beautiful food was as good as I’ve ever had

Have now stayed twice at Eslava Hotel. A great option for staying in central Sevilla. Quite spacious and all necessary comforts of an apartment hotel. Fabulous assistance from Gema who gave us detailed instructions for getting to the apartment and the optional car parking that we needed for our latest stay. Plus, it’s right above one of the best restaurants in Sevilla! What more could you ask for?

One of the best meals that I had in Seville! Pick a few tapas and ask them to suggest a wine to go with it, and you won't be disappointed. It's a very different experience if you eat in the dining room versus at the bar, so go twice and enjoy yourself!

Eslava undoubtedly ranks among the most outstanding dining experiences I've ever had. This gem was brought to my attention through a fervent recommendation from a friend. Given our inability to secure a reservation, we took a chance and walked in on a weekend evening, with modest expectations. To our pleasant surprise, we secured a spot at the bar minutes after our arrival! Every tapas plate we selected delivered unique flavours. We really enjoyed the Cigar rolls, Artichoke, Fried sardines and Croquettes. The (one too many) glasses of Sangria were a great companion to our meal. We got Tiramisu for dessert, which was impeccably creamy and delicious. For anyone visiting Seville, Eslava is a culinary treasure not to be missed. I highly recommend making a reservation online well in advance, particularly if your visit falls on a weekend.

One day we wanted a little different food in Spain so we went to Shibuya Sushi and we didn't regret it. All the food was really fresh and tasty. The place itself was very nice as well and the service was good. Highly Recommended!

The sushi was great, and had a wow factor. What made it better was that our waiter Juan who explained our dishes perfectly. The standout dishes were Sake Sibuya, Rock and Roll Uramaki and Gunkan XO. We also recommend booking here as it gets quite busy.

We were completely blown away by their food! The appetizers were gorgeous, the sushi as well. Plus: all the chicken is halal, if that’s an issue for you. Urban atmosphere, great value for money. Better make a reservation! We came here twice in three days for a reason.

The ultimate sushi experience! I've had there one of the best- if the not the best- sushi meals in my life! They have very creative rolls, especially the flamed ones with an amazing smoky taste, they come on fire in foil and are to die for. We first went there on the night we were leaving and came back the next day hours before our flight to say goodbye to Spain with this unforgettable sushi rolls. Staff are really nice and welcoming. Thank you guys, you are great!

We ordered the sashimi, tuna tartar and sibuya civeche. The fish was fresh, but the sashimi were sliced super thin, and the slices were not cut all the way through and we had a hard time pulling it apart when trying to eat it. The fish is fresh for sure, but still left much to be desired. I did really like the tuna tartar though. The marinade was very on point! Service was good though and the atmosphere was great.

I decided to select the special rolls as they seemed more unique and something that this place is known for. The best sushi I have ever had. The fish tasted fresh, the rice was perfect, and luckily the sushi wasnt filled with too much cream cheeses or sauce or what not. With some advice from the kind waiter, we had such a nice experience. The ambiance is very nice too.

Big menu with a lot of options and very reasonable prices. We had a very friendly and serviced minded waitress. The food was good but quit ordinary. The chocolate cake as dessert was definitely a killer!

Best sushi ever! We had Freestyle, Top Sibuya and the Sake Sibuya and i highly recommend the last two! The sake shot was disappointing as it was our first time drinking sake ( and probably the last), but the Japanese beer is really good. You can tell that the ingredients are high quality and the food touches all your senses. This restaurant is the best choice for amazing food, nice atmosphere and very good service, our waitress Jordan was very nice and took time to explain us everything.

The staff was very kind and the restaurant was very nice. We ordered the chicken noodles but were disappointed when it barely had any chicken and was too salty. We also ordered other sushi rolls but the fish was sliced very thinly. Overall, it was delicious, but could be done better.

Hands down best sushi we have ever eaten for a decent price (I’m from Atlanta, GA and I love sushi) We got the sibuya flame/hot roll and it was very worth it! We ordered it last and it was the best thing to finish on and so so delicious. We also got one of the platters I think the Top Sibuya combo plate and we loved getting to try a variety of them. The California rolls all tasted the same but still good. The best was maremoto! They also have pretty cheap glasses or bottles of wine. And complimentary edamame.

I really love the tapas served at this restaurant! They are not only incredibly tasty but also have some unique flavors that make them stand out. The restaurant had a beautiful area in the back which was cooling on this hot Summer day, creating a charming atmosphere. The restaurant is a delightful and affordable option. The variety of dishes offered is impressive, and it's a great place to explore different flavors in a relaxed setting.

Best place I have eaten at in Seville. Refined menu. Friendly staff. Who can speak most languages. I try to speak Spanish but only just get by. Ate hear in the afternoon and evening. Would advise booking but you can wait for table.

Excellent upscale tapas. Their atmosphere was nice inside and their service very attentive. You’ll want to get a reservation for a weekend. Steak and chocolate cake are a must. Oxtail, croquettes we’re also great.

This was one of my two favorite restaurants while visiting Seville. For dinner, had a fantastic SEAFOOD PAELLA and MUSHROOM RISOTTO and a very reasonably priced and tasty sangria. Service was excellent, value for food was exceptional, and we were fortunate to sit next to two English speaking couples and had stayed much longer than usual because the desserts and atmosphere were so good. Definitely a place I would come back to again!

I ate tuna tartare, beer, espresso and lemon cake. The cake was delicious, friendly, helpful and polite staff, prices reasonable and beautiful photos on the walls. The restaurant has nice atmosphere.

Nice food! Found this place on a travelblog. We did not have a reservation, but were accomodated without hassle. They serve a Torta Naranja de Inés Rosales Crema de Aguacate Salmón Marinado Vinagreta de Rúcula Y Tomate which they won a Tapa contest with. Its nice indeed. On the other hand, they served a burritto which kinda let the whole experience down from 6 stars to 5. The burrito tasted hideous! Besides that, sweet place!

Visited for dinner and was not disappointed. I would recommend booking a table as they do get busy. I wasn’t sure what to order but the waitress was very helpful in providing me with recommendations. Very tasty, reasonable and great for all groups.

Amazing friendly staff who spoke English and had English menu. It’s a block off the main tourist area so expect tourist price. It’s a bit pricey. Jamon/ham was delicious. The seafood paella is a pass, there are much better place out there. The staff did warn me that they are famous for meat paella. This is meat focused restaurant so if you come, stick to meat. Skip the seafood.

Very good food. The restaurant has friendly staff and Elena was fantastic. She translated the menu for us and had good recommendations including the risotto with pumpkin and squid

Dropped in for an early dinner and tapas - similar to many other tapas bars in the Santa Cruz Quarter but the menu was thankfully not overwhelming. The service was good and they came by a couple times to check in on us and explained everything. They had some specials as well that weren't on the regular menu. We ended up going with the vegetable tempura sushi, zucchini wraps, and Thai red rice. Everything was SO delicious and left me wanting for more! The vegetable tempura sushi I definitely could have used another round for. While the prices were a tad on the higher end of tapas bars, the quality was definitely worth it. Recommend for quick and easy tapas if you're in the are!

I ordered six tapas for less than 30 Euros, which is quite affordable. Would recommend the squid and the salmon, they were good. Anchovie was a bit too salty. The lamb was too dry and less than savory. BTW，sangria was only 1.5? If my memory serves. The cheapest I have ever had.

One of the best most authentic experiences in Sevilla. The octopus and squid were a delight. The pork was ok, but not mind blowing! It’s crazy and crowded, loud and restricted! But it does really feel like a Spanish homemade food experience! Very good value/price ratio!

While in La Bartola, we ordered the la Bartola-style anchovies, gazpacho, croquettes of the day, Iberian pork cheek stew, grilled baby squid and the cheesecake. Everything we had was phenomenal in terms of flavour, textures and presentation but our favourite was the grilled baby squid. We were so impressed with the quality of both the service and the food that we paid La Bartola another visit while we were in Seville. The food was just as good as it was during our visit but we ordered the lamb couscous and fried calamari this time in addition to our favourite, the grilled baby squid. The chefs at La Bartola really know their way around how to cook cephalopods, masterfully keeping them very tender and flavourful. I also would like to point out how excellently cooked the vegetables were that came with our tapas. Really lovely staff too. La Bartola is easily my personal favourite spot for tapas in the cathedral area of Seville. I would give them a rating higher than 5 if I could!

La Bartola was the most perfect introduction to Sevilla! After waking up at 4am to travel to Sevilla and a long day of walking around and exploring, La Bartola was the perfect way to end our day. Although tired, the welcoming and friendly service perked us up as we ordered 6 tapas between 2 people. Everything was absolutely excellent and cooked to perfection. We sat at the bar and got the aubergine salad, croquetas (salmon), squid, beef, iberico ham and a cooked pork dish. All 10/10 and melt in the mouth! Our lovely waiters were attentive and helpful with recommendations. I would highly recommend La Bartola!! Must visit.

We came across this restaurant as we were staying locally. Food was great and they served their bread rolls warm which was the only place that did so by our experience. The octopus dish and the sliced beef was delicious. The red wine with lemonade is a nice refreshing drink.

Came here for lunch based on the reviews. Food below average - had the pork cheek, croquettes, grilled octopus (this was the worst, very tough not tender). Service was good and fast. Overall, this restaurant completely missed the mark for me.

Where to start? I had just checked in at my hotel in the same neighbourhood as this place (yesterday) and was feeling a bit zapped after travelling from Granada (738m elevation) to Sevilla (7m elevation) and was in the mood for good, easy food virtually no distance from my hotel. The quality of the food, service and staff was outstanding. My waiter was friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the sources of the beef, squid and other elements of the tapas that I tried. You could tell that so much love and passion goes into every little detail of each dish with no corners cut. The atmosphere was buzzing with a crowd made up of tourists like myself and locals. At only €15 for 3 good-sized tapas plus a soft drink it was practically a steal. In fact it was so blooming good that I will be going back there again tonight! To paraphrase Chandler Bing from F.R I.E.N.D.S "La Bartola couldn't BE any more authentic!"

This was on our list as the place has good reviews and offered some vegan options too. We came in here for dinner around 7pm and the place was packed. We were seated at the bar. Which was comfortable. The food was very good, would definitely like to eat here again!

We followed the reviews and asked for recommendations and it was great!! Best sangria I've had, nice texture and colour, not the usual boring kind. The Tapas were all nicely well made, every one tasting pretty good, different but great together. Pork cheek was great and very value for money, croquette was yummy, salmorejo was pretty good, squid noodle was yummy though pretty Asian, and paella was so so but still nice to enjoy a small portion of it. Together with the lemon beer, we pay €25. Our cheapest but one of the yummiest meal we've had. Would gladly return!

Stopped in on a late (4pm) Thursday afternoon for a quick bite. Even though it was slow the service was fast and very friendly! I ordered the tapas size of lasagna and the pork cheeks w/potatoes. They were both very good and big portion for tapas. Good music was playing and the workers were in a festive mood. Great place to stop in for good bites!

I was here for a quick late afternoon bite. I didn’t order a lot. Menu is all in Spanish only. Limited seats, so expect to wait or standing by the counter. I like the cold cuts and chicken ham. The braised chicken with tomato sauce is delicious. The fried noodle dish is a bit too salty for me. Overall ambience is lively and the owner is friendly.

Delicious traditional tapas, fast service and of course a nice atmosphere as befits the Spanish 🥰 Prices to quality were downright too low! The nice thing was that practically everything could be taken as tapas or a whole dish :)

Best tapas I’ve ever had during my tour in Spain. Super small spot so you have to wait. Great atmosphere. The servers are working at full speed so you have to be assertive in ordering and getting the bill. The food was all amazing. Least favorite items were the Asian fusion dishes. Stick to the classic authentic tapas. GET THE SANGRIA AND WINE WITH LEMONADE.

Highly recommended! Cheerful staff, great vibe and amazing drinks/food! The space is limited, but we were still able to bring our baby in the pram.

Strategic location makes it a desirable spot. It’s massively packed all through the day even during off peak seasons. The staff are limited and overworked, so don’t get upset if they are curt. The food was delicious and the pricing was of value. Not much options for vegetarians but it’s got the local flavour. The toilet services and the tables were average. Go for it just for some drinks and tapas but not recommended for meals where one’s got to be satisfied for standing all long.

Honestly sublime tapas. Enjoyed every moment. It’s no nonsense and simply about the food. An absolute must in Sevilla - I don’t think you can go wrong ordering any dish! I can’t wait to go back!

Excellent paella and tapas. The staff was extremely helpful. Because there are only a few tables inside, you may have to wait a while. But it is completely worthwhile. Listening to the staff will undoubtedly assist you in selecting the best tapas for your tastes.

We had to queue up for a bit but it was worth it. A tiny, rustic restaurant with great service and yummy Tapas. Wait stuff were amazing- very friendly, very fast and they are clearly enjoying their job! One of the waiters was signing loudly as he was running around and it added so much to the lovely mood of this place. All dishes were fresh and very tasty. It was a great break from all the deep-fried food in restaurants aimed at tourists, in the city center. I highly recommend this place! 👌

Long queues are the only downside of this restaurant. This restaurant offers quality dishes at affordable prices that I wouldn't have dared to imagine when I ate tapas in the UK. Dinner was open until after 11pm and we were very satisfied with our meal having just arrived from the airport. The beef stew was soft and flavourful and the jamon was fresh. I don't know how to describe it, but it was like a rich cold tomato soup on bread. The staff are friendly and make impromptu gestures when pouring wine

Beautiful local bar which seems to be the best around. Smack in the center of Sevilla, you’ll be able to get tapas of the highest quality both classics like Ibérico ham and manchego cheese, as well as some unique ones like delicious wok and noodles. Highly recommend if you are looking for the best and most well known tapas place around. If you don’t want to wait outside too long, I would recommend going earlier, around 8:30pm, but if you show up around 9:30-10:00pm, it’s still not that bad of a wait most of the time.

High quality tapas bar at a reasonable price. Space is precious in this bar, so you're gonna have to wait if you want a proper seat. We came back twice during our stay in Sevilla. It's just that good!
