Segovia

A Spanish city that provides a charming mixture of history and culture, Segovia is located near the Madrid-León train line making it easily accessible. The Roman Aqueduct is believed to have been built in the first century and is still used today, and the Alcazar is a Moorish palace and fortress first referenced in the 12th century, which served as inspiration for Walt Disney’s Cinderella Castle. The city's Cathedral was constructed in the mid 16th century, and sits at the highest point of the Segovia as the last gothic cathedral built in Spain.
