Great place to go buy souvenirs. There are jewelery and handicraft shops dotted around the restaurants and the bars. It feels very safe as there are security guards patrolling the entrances so you don't have to worry so much about your valuables.

This is a unique place to visit for dining in Santiago. Every restaurant and shop is unique, and there is a wide variety of offerings to choose from. We went for a light lunch, but I understand that it gets very busy in the evening and nighttime.

I know it's considered touristy but what a great collection of cool cafes and bars. At night it looks amazing. Definitely recommend Red Bar for their cool custom made cocktails

Had this saved as a place to go but it was so unassuming walking by we almost missed it. A little oasis with outdoor bars and restaurants, coffee,and some shopping. Very cute for strolling around or to grab a bite to eat!

Patio Bellavista is a really fun place to visit in Santiago! There are a lot of fantastic places in which you can grab a cold beverage and great food. It is located in a safe part of town and always seems to have a lot of people and activity. I really enjoy visiting Patio Bellavista and always make sure to visit when I'm Santiago. Fun!

Large restaurant and bar complex in the Barrio Bella Vista. Very lively with copious options for drinks and dinner, but not too loud, and it seemed very friendly and safe.

Public park, safe with good views. We initially had problems finding the entrance, but a homeless man pointed us the right way, which to me says a lot about the area. Apparently this is where Valdivia founded/conquered Santiago five hundred years ago, and the park includes cannons, a fortress, and chapel among other sights.

This is free to visit and a fairly easy 10min or less hike to the top. The views are stunning from the top

What a beautiful, well-maintained park! Shady and cool in many places on a hot summer day. Lovely working fountains. The entrance is on the main boulevard, at the yellow buildings.

An amazing landmark right in the center of downtown Santiago! Not only can you get amazing views of the skyline nearby (so close you can almost touch them) there is also some great history here. The included fort has some really cool architecture that is woven into the structure of the hill. Most tourists will be staying within walking distance of this spot and it is definitely worth taking an hour or two to explore it!

A nice retreat in the city centre with quiet piazzas and lots of twisting paths up the rocks to explore. But it needs some tender loving care to fix the areas closed off as ‘dangerous’, to replace the missing paving stones, reopen the toilets and generally give it a tidy up.

Very beautiful hill! From here u can see all the city! Wonderful the going on by funicular or cable car. Many attractions up to the hill and so relax.

I suggest riding one way with the cable car and the other way with the funicular. You get to experience both, see the views in a different way and their distance- puts you in different parts of the city. The funicular puts you near the Bella Vista neighborhood which has some great eateries and shopping. The experience to get the tickets was confusing, but once I got a hang of what to do- the process was easy. I recommend reserving ahead.

The hill is a part of a huge park (free entrance) with gardens, playgrounds and bikeways. It’s a perfect place for outdoor activities such as jogging, cycling, or yoga, or just for a picnic with family and friends. Sunset yoga on the top level of the park is amazing! There are also cable cars available, the view in the morning is sooo lovely. Highly recommend to visit💙

Great overview over the city of Santiago. The funicular gives you the chance to see more of the hill’s natural flora and you can enjoy a breathtaking picture over the skycfapers of Chile’s capital on your way back to the base of the hill. Totally recommend it for a different experience in Santiago

Final cable car or fenicular back down is at 7:30pm. Get there with plenty of time because the staff are very unhelpful and can’t be bothered working close to the end of their shift. That aside - good views over the city

The best attraction in Santiago a clear must visit. The statue of st Mary is at the top at the end of the tram but the best picture spot is actually in the middle stopping point where you can get the postcard picture of the tram and a not too far away view of the sky costenera. Again a must visit!

You can hardly feel the lift going up, and yet it's so fast! The views are spectacular. Well worth the visit. On the way down, you exit on a different floor than you entered, so you have a chance to have an official photo, buy souvenirs, and explore the big shopping mall attached to the Costanera.

It's definitely a must-go attraction in Santiago. You get to know the city from above before actually going to the places of interest, and the guided tour tells some interesting facts about the region's history. Look for the weekdays when there is live music and wine tasting at the top floor. The guide mentioned it, but we visited the place on the wrong day :-( Another tip: if the weather is good, go at the end of the afternoon to see the sunset (and you may also get a glimpse of the city lights at night). The ticket could be a little less expensive, though.

Tallest building in South America with stunning city views that spreads out from the foothills of Andes. Sunsets are a popular time to visit. If you want less crowd go during the noon. Also, it’s cheaper to visit during the weekdays. The building has a cafe on the 61st floor where you can relax and enjoy a cup of your choice with the stunning views of the landscape.

The tallest man built structure in all of Latin America... What else needs to be said. This tower is massive and impressive. It's clean lines and simple design is stunning. The experience is equally clean, efficient, and well maintained. The shopping center at the base will give you an entire day of things to do and the tower itself is a peaceful and lofty experience.

Sky Costanera can be seen from miles and when you are on the top at the observation platform, you can see for miles. The views are fantastic, especially of the mountains. From here you can get a really good feel for the city and its sheer size. I love tall buildings and taking pictures from the top. This is one of the best ones so far as the scenery is so amazing. If you are going to Santiago, this is one thing you should do. The area is also a really nice area to stay. The tower is linked to a shopping mall. We stayed in the Hilton DoubleTree in the tower’s shadow, so it was an easy walk for the mall and tower. You can see 360 deg from the top and as its on a hill, the aspect is even more pronounced, giving amazing views. If there was one issue, they need to clean the windows a bit more often, as it was hard to find completely clean spots to take pictures. Definitely worth a visit.

I was on the fence on visiting because I had gone to other spots around Santiago and thought I had seen some amazing views, however the views from Sky Costanera was something else. It was beautiful to see the city, surrounded by the Andes from such a height. I had to sit down for a while and take in the beauty of the city and scenery. Worth the money to visit!

Definitely recommend trying to go here. It’s located inside a mall. You go purchase the tickets on the lower level and then enter the elevators to access the top. You can walk around the enter top floor. There is another escalator that you can access an open sky space. It was a little cloudy the day we went and was warned that the visibility was low. We went up anyways because it was the only day we could go. There is a small bar restaurant at the top you can have a drink of coffee and hang out. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The place has an elevator which takes you at the staggering height to see Santiago change its colors as the day progresses. The evening sights from here are the highlights when the whole city glitters with its vibrant lights and if you love places which take you away from the Earth, this place is an absolute must-see!

It was amazing view for us. We visited there week day late noon from before sunset to almost close hour. We could see Santiago city and Andes mountain from higher place. They had a bar where we could drink alcohol and snacks. We recommend to visit there before sunset and stay there until you can see night view. You can but the ticket on the -1 floor at Costanera Center.

The observation deck was awesome. We spent two hours gazing across the panoramic views of Santiago and the Andes Mountains. The Sky Bar cafe offers small bites, coffee, and adult beverages, and the staff is very nice. If you visit, make sure to go to the Open Sky level above the main observation deck so you can feel the breeze!

It is a cheesy thing to do, but heck, which touristy thing isn’t cheesy? It is the tallest building in Latin America, so just for that, it is worth it to visit and see the view. You can't bypass paying for admission by going up to the bar. We got our tickets and snagged a table by the window to enjoy the sunset.

Excellent shopping mall with many many store and fantastic restaurants. The tower is sure to bring you here, but the shopping center will keep you busy for an entire day. Everything was very well kept and easy to navigate with plenty of security and a wide selection of stores from top to bottom.

Multiple floors with a huge variety of stores and services. Only thing missing is a good variety of children stores - like apparels and toys (you should be able to find them at department stores though).

Very affordable. Do not miss an opportunity to see this place. We had a 7 hour layover & this was the one place we went to see with our young children. The children were all free. Staff & security is very friendly! And there’s a lovely bar/restaurant up the top. The views are unmatched, we got there at 6pm so we got the night time view. 100% recommend!

Everything is beautiful. The place offers an experience very cool. You can see the whole city in 360°. There, they have a guide that explains the history of like the Chile grew up and too details the places of Santiago city.

I loved the Costanera mall, my family and I really enjoyed it, there were many shops and restaurants in the mall, it was also very organized and clean, the employees were very friendly all the time. I would definitely buy and visit this place again when I return to Chile, 100% recommended for families, friends and couples.

If you wish to see Santiago from above, this is the place to visit. The views are stunning. The guide is excellent and well worth listening to. You will learn a lot from the guide about the tower and its build. You are free to take photographs and this is also well worth the trip. On the very top floor you are subject to the elements from above, but, still surrounded by glass. This is sometimes closed for safety reasons if it is too wet. You need not be concerned about earth quakes and tremors. The building is designed and built to withstand this to a very high level. This is a top notch tourist spot and I highly recommend it.

I visited Sky Costanera viewpoint for the second time and I certainly enjoyed it. First time was on winter time and at evening to get the perfect sunset and night view. Now, summer time and morning hours. Each season has its own charm for sure! So anytime is perfect. There are 2 levels from where you can get amazing 360° views of the city. Walk around or take a seat and just relax. There is also a cafe/bar if you fancy a drink. Prices are different during weekends. Highly recommended when in Santiago.

Loved our dinner here. I had the steak wrapped in bacon with cheese and sautéed vegetables. It was simply delicious. The service was great and there was a live band playing. The bread and dip the gave complimentary was excellent too. Great ambience, great food and lots of little bars around the neighbourhood to check out.

A nice restaurant with amazing views of Santiago, the ground of the restaurant rotates constantly so you see all the views. The food was very good and the service was good. The restaurant is a bit old and very well maintained, it could be improved. The prices were a bit high. But it was worth the experience.

Great Restaurant and an amazing view. This is on the 16th floor of this building with their name on the outside. You can see there is something special from the outside when you see the couple of top floors with complete glass windows. The view os breathtaking and unbelievable. In about 2 hour's you can see the entire city 360 degrees. At the same time you can enjoy a great service and an amazing food. This is my first time in this restaurant but even without a reservation they were really attentive and very friendly. Menu was very explicit and in a tablet. (Fancy) I recommend this place to anyone. And every time in Santiago I will come back to this restaurant.

I was worried that this would be a tourist trap with terrible food but booked anyway because it is a REVOLVING RESTAURANT. It was actually delightful. The food was good, slightly over-priced but not madly so. The service was excellent and attentive. And the view is SUPERB. What better way to spend an evening? The way the light changes as the sun sets is absolutely magical. I can recommend 100%

Fantastic 360 degree view is spoiled by over-priced sub-par food. The concept of eating at a restaurant with a view from the 18th floor in downtown Santiago Chile is spoiled by the over-priced sub-par food. Service is marginal because customer must raise a hand to have any action taken. A fine restaurant wait-staff are constantly looking out for the customer's needs and anticipate before being asked. Focaccia bread provided at the outset was very good with a nice taste and texture. Also ordered the Roast beef parmigiana in a mild yellow chili curry sauce which was served quickly and was quite tender and tasty. Also tried the Mediterranean table with variety of Italian ham, cheese, buffalo mozzarella, mushrooms and olives which were good but nothing out of the ordinary. Everything after that went downhill. Ordered Locos Crocantes (roasted shrimp, with bell pepper sauce and parmesan) which were tasteless, overcooked, not served hot and were quite rubbery and tough. I tried to eat one and finally gave up and told the waiter I couldn't continue; fortunately, I was not charged for this terrible attempt to offer cooked shrimp to a customer. Also tried the LOCOS COMO EN LA PLAYA (Cooked mollusk with mayonnaise potatoes and green sauce) which were also quite disappointing (tasteless, rubbery and tough). Needless to say, I would not recommend this place to anyone and especially not at these prices. There are many reasonably priced restaurants in Santiago where the chefs actually care and make sure that the food is properly prepared before serving it. Don't waste your time and money here.

Great views of the city in a classic restaurant. Don't ask for "pisco sour", is definitely not their specialty. Food is just ok for a USD$50 pp in Santiago. Live piano music is great 👍🏼

If you like pizza, you should eat here. We visited Chile for 3 days, and ate here twice. They have a buratta pizza my wife ordered twice, and I’m going to have to try and make in the USA…. It’s excellent!!

The reviews do not lie!! This place is so good we went twice during our stay in Santiago. This place is the epitome of friendly, cozy, neighborhood restaurant. It is an enormous restaurant and only opens at 7pm, so make sure you get there at least by 6:45pm to wait for a table. The second time we went was closer to 7:30 and I think we waited for 10 minutes max. So do not let the wait intimidate you. It's normally not long and the food is worth it. If you want a classic pizza the buffala pizza is the way to go. Simple marinara sauce, fresh basil, and buffala mozarella. The crust is perfect and has a nice crunch to it. The others within my party ordered the diavola, contadina, and the salamino. While I did not try these pizzas they looked amazing. I definitely recommend coming here if you have time. Pizza is authentic, environment is cozy, and the staff is lovely. My only complaint about this place is that it's so big, I felt sometimes it's hard for the staff to keep up. We waited over 15 minutes for our menus and almost 45 minutes for food. The second time we went the service was much quicker, but the restaurant was equally as busy.

I just left this pizza place that was highly recommended to me and I have to say, the Caesar salad with chicken was quite impressive in terms of presentation as it was stunning and the portion size was generous. However, I have to take away one star and give it a 4-star rating due to the excessive amount of salt in the chicken. The crispy bacon and Parmesan cheese in a salad inherently add saltiness, therefore, the seasoning on the chicken must be handled with care, taking into consideration the amount of salt that the chef intends to use. To make matters worse, the mini toasts were also salted which made it difficult to recognize the individual flavors. Overall, it was difficult to enjoy the dish properly due to the overwhelming saltiness. The staff was friendly but they seemed to rush us a bit as we arrived almost at closing time. Despite this, the atmosphere was nice and I would consider returning to try some of their other dishes while I am in Santiago. In summary, although the Caesar salad with chicken had a stunning presentation and generous portion size, the excessive amount of salt in the chicken took away from the overall experience. Nonetheless, the friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere make it a place worth considering for a return visit.

The pizza was ok. It was too dry and not too hot. Looked like it got waiting some time to get to the table. We had red and white wine by the glass and it was good. The place was too loud, too many people. Service was not super friendly but was ok. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated.

One of the best pizzas that I have had in the last 10 years, where’s most pizzerias normally do not give you much filling, as you can see from the photo that they do not scrimp with the filling and it tasted excellent, always busy especially on a Sunday, we didn’t have to wait long and the service by the waiters was exceptional, even brought an English menu without asking. The food was and service was definitely 5 stars.

This place has some of the best chicken I have ever had. I’m so impressed and would love to come back and enjoy the food. The portions were good and so was the service. This place is also large but we did make a reservation because we had a large group.

Amazing seafood place in Santiago, definitely recommend that you give it a try when you are in town. The restaurant socialize in local seafood from Patagonia, the most popular is the whole king crab. There are two options, whole king crab for two or king crab for four. I think the price is pretty reasonable and the crab is fresh and delicious. I also ordered the sea urchin cold dish there’s a huge amount for $25. Also try their scallops and shrimps.

This restaurant was call “Aqui está Coco”, located at the Concepción street. In addition to the high quality of its food and service, it had a private parking area, adjacent to it, which is not common around the city. Due to the social unrest and later Covid-19, they had to close permanently. Last week, I passed by the street, and could see the the signs that it was been sold. Last night while looking for a place to eat, where most of the new restaurants are locate, however the parking is very difficult, found a parking area, which said only for customers of “Coco”. We did not have a reservation, but they were able to accommodate us anyway. I happily discovered that it was my old restaurant that had relaunched, many of the waiters I new, were still working. Dinner was superb.

Visiting from Miami. Recommended by a Chilean friend. Service is genuine and truly friendly professional. The Pisco Sour is good but not spectacular. Had two Catedral and was OK. The Ceviche is good as well as the Ostiones Chalaca. The Centolla was not fresh; even after requesting butter draw was tasteless and felt previously frozen / old. Sadly we get better King Crab at our local Costco in Miami. We ordered a Congrio afterwards that was delicious and the Torta de Abuela was truly tasty. We appreciate the details of our great server, Daniel Carter and the rest of the team, but management needs to upgrade its ingredients. Two of us spent some $280 USD including a generous Tip, but the food is not at the level of the Service nor their reputation. Looking forward to improvements. We had a good time due to the staff. We have visit a number of times. The last two times have been on a Wednesday when they have live music with French songs. That is really good. The food is OK. Last we got the steak and it was not a very god piece. But the other times it has been very good. The service is as often in Santiago very good.

Good service and good atmosphere. Food is not as good as expected. Quality of food and flavour of food varies every time I visit. Sometime it is surprisingly good (e.g., on special event). Sometime food just tastes so bland. In my opinion, it is not worth the price.

Wow, I really don’t understand. The reviews rave about this place. We ordered beef tartare, tuna Niçoise salad, roasted potatoes, soup, braised beef and it was terrible. The best dish of all of these was the beef tartare. Everything else was so disgusting we couldn’t finish any of the other dishes. The braised beef was dry on the inside, the tuna was so disgusting because it had a foul taste, the soup was not salted and was incredibly runny it was like scooping water with my spoon, the roasted potatoes were totally bland and Luke warm. Do not come here.

The beer was good! Tartare way too much mustard and condiments: no taste of the meat! Burger and Empanadas ok but nothing special! Service: no eye contact! Requested burger no onion and it came with… left tartare as per pics and no questions…

Pretty good French bistro food albeit the menu is somewhat limited after COVID compared to the one posted in photos here. For 20k CLP they offer a menu with app, main and dessert and about 4 choices for each. The pork terrine, burger and creme brulee were all quite good, although i didn't like the tomato jam they used on the burger.

The service was fast , friendly specially considering the fact that I don’t Speak Spanish . David the waiter was awesome !!! And the food was delish .

Food was decent, service was slow but the food did come out quick once we ordered. The coffee was really good but I ordered a mimosa and it was below par. People seem to come here to be seen and not for the food. You can definitely get better food and service at one of the cafes in the neighborhoods. I would recommend making a reservation if you do come.
