The View is Incredible. And you can eat on top with a 360* view because the tower spin around. Really great experience. Food is good. Server kinda slow the place get really busy.

Beautiful place and walk with friends. Not too challenging and depending how close you can get to it in a vehicle you can do this as a day trek in just a few hours. The views are stunning and it’s one of the best examples of Lenga trees. It’s frustrating that part of the trek goes through “private land” of the Aralauquen estate - how on earth was part of a national park (and a large part at that) sold privately to become a playground for Bariloche’s rich and famous. Disgraceful really and surely there must have been some brown envelopes passed to ensure that this happened. In any case it’s a beautiful landscape and the views over Lago Gutierrez are sublime. Hopefully the whole trek returns to public hands soon.

The ride on the gondola is fun, the views are spectacular and there is plenty of food and drinks at the summit... about 1/3 of the top was closed for repair and much of the outside areas were also closed for repairs... it's a beautiful location but could be updated and repaired... so much more potential! It is worth the trip if in Bariloche...

Can’t beat the views at this place. Top of the mountain is gorgeous!!!! Reminds me of Lake Tahoe or Alaska. The mountain definitely gets crowded and the lines can get long. The snow at the top is much better than the snow at the bottom. There is a free parking lot with a bus shuttle. You can also pay to park in the front which is 3,500 pesos. The village is cool to walk around and grab food. Recommend going to the restaurant at the top. It’s usually a wait to get a table but great views up there with good food.

Skiing on top of the clouds. Simply gorgeous! It is possible for pedestrians to go up the mountain as well.

Great place if you want to pay for rentals and ski passes, brave the overflowing parking lot and shuttle bus, only to arrive to a ski resorts that has no lifts running due to power outages. Edit: Adding some stars from my original review since they seemed to keep the lifts running later once the power returned.

Wanderful Historical Church, Hundresds of years of Stone walls, Amazing sound for the mass. Space and Images, vitreau. Catholic Church, Sunday mass at 11:00am and 20:00hs. Peaceful place to stay and Pray.

The unfinished Church. It ran out of money before the interior was finished but it only made it look more natural. Beautiful glasses and in all a very beautiful church.

The stations of the cross are worth going for. Very politcal in nature. Indigenous people featured in the stained glass windows.

An interesting place that looks old from the outside but it was built in the 1940s and remains strangely unfinished inside, which adds some interest.

The location is amazing, its really clean around and good to have a picnic or chill there... Going to visit it again.

A lovely spot to sit and reflect. We were lucky enough to be here when a concert was taking place and the accoustics in the building are very good. When you visit please remember that this ia a place of worship and you should act accordingly.

Absolutely amazing and gorgeous. We did the trip from Bariloche to San Martin de Los Andes along the 7 lakes route during August (winter time) and enjoyed snowing and amazing sites. Be sure to stop at each lake.

A true adventure to see Cerro Tornador the thunder mountain and glacier. On the road you meet gorgeous lupiin flower fields like being in Alps, a ilsand Corason the Heart shape island and always river is by your side until you reach this and there is an eagle flying. Waterfalls with crystal clear water:) i use this water to my paintings:)

We took the ferry and we hiked the boardwalk to the falls (four stations) and the lake at the top of the waterfalls. Beautiful!

Each season has its own wonder. flowers and birds in spring, silent falling snow in winter with hares and foxes running when you least expect. and I can go on with the hot summer with small waterfalls, never ending nights watching the stars. and at last the autumn with reds covering the forest. its a marvellous place... always, even when the wind blows and the rain falls, and you can do nothing but watch...

So this is a place you come to for traditional Argentine cuisine. You'll find smoked fish, trout, vencen and traditional deserts. However, if you are particular about service, this is not the place to go. It’s a Bariloche classic this family owned restaurant that also sells some regional items like smoked meats and products. The restaurant gets very busy on the season so be sure to get ready for a lengthy wait to get it. The queue outside is not that well organized and once you manage to get in… you probable will need to wait until your actual table is ready. Food is ok, nothing fancy but featuring quite a good selection of local dishes. Service gets messy (again, in the high season that’s expected) and servers gets overwhelmed (understaffed) so… be patient. Portion size could be better, but overall is a good restaurant to dine in.

Really interesting restaurant. It was like Argentinean-Hungarian. And maybe German too. I ordered the hunters Lamb (Cordero a la Calzadora) a typical plate in Argentina. It came with some noodles covered in a cream sauce and several pieces of lamb meat on the bone. The plate was covered in sauce but it was delicious. I also orders a glass of red wine. They only sell bottles and 1 type of red and white. The brand was San Juan and it was a tempranillo wine. It was motly light, but still had some heavy body to it that made it a but more than a casual sipping wine. It took my attention every sip ,but was good - on the dryer side as well. The best best part of the place for sure was the service and the ambiance. My server was perfe t and professional and not too pushy but attentive when needed. Also the place is dimly lit, but not so dark that you can't see the menu. There is a sort of tree house feel to it and it's warm, an escape from the cold of the outside. ***end novel*** Def stop by here for food if in town.

Good variety of dishes. Cordero and Ciervo are good choices if you want to try something different from other food you can find in Argentina. Not sure about the exact style of beer but it does remind me of German beer styles. If you prefer, they have lots of different wines to choose from.

We ordered Sorrentinos Verdura with Bella Italia sauce for starters. It was my favorite. Then we got goulash and trucha fish with speatzle. They were delicious as well. For desserts, we oredered apple strudel with ice cream. Strudel wasn't that much of my taste but it went well with ice cream. The overall service was fast and professional.

Wonderful place. I like the atmosphere and the style is similar to what you can find in Austria. We have their platta - a board of different fish/meats and cheese. It was good even though I would have like that there had been more difference in the cheece. The meat was excellent.

The food was fantastic but the serving staff deserve high praise. Even though they were extremely busy, everyone was friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in, while we waited for our table, and during our meal. They recommended great wine, patiently answered our questions about the menu, and most spoke at least a little English (and were unpretentious about having to use it) which was very helpful since only one in our group was fluent in Spanish. We ordered the bife de chorizo, Denver steak, salads, grilled vegetables, and fries. The steaks were the best we've had in Argentina. That's saying a lot. Everything was cooked just right. The flavor, texture, and temperature were perfect. Excellent place.

We ordered asado, churizo beef and salad. You can ask for half a portion which is great cuz the meals are huge. The steak was delicious, salad wasn’t great. The staff were really nice and quick, but the place itself was small and kind of squishy. Bathroom was also not great. Overall though steak was the reason we came and it was delicious !

The meat was great, I want to recommend the mixed vegetables. Although it's a side dish it was simply amazing. Everything was made with lots of care and the service was excellent.

I was so ejxcited to try this place a month ago, but wasn't able to due to time restraints while heading south to Ushuaia, but made it a priority for my one night here tonight on my way back up to Santiago. I went with a medium-rare ribeye, and my wife had medium tenderloin. We shared some proveleta as an appetizer and cooked veggies and fries on the side. Our waiter was very attentive, and everything was cooked perfectly except my ribeye. Although VERY BIG, it was cooked medium well, which isn't the end of the world since it was still moist, but not perfect like I was hoping after reading so many reviews.The server offered to re-cook it, but I am not one to send food back, I just wanted to let them know so that they can be better for other customers. Overall, a great restaurant and experience, I just wish my steak was cooked as I ordered it... also, the proveleta is the best I've had in 10+ steakhouses traveling through Chile / Argentina the past 2.5 months! I would still recommend this place and would definitely go back some day.

Great hidden gem. Easy to find, parking is not difficult. The service is great and the ambience is very cabin-like. The food was good. We started with the smoked platter. It comes with smoked cheese, salmon, venison & wild lettuce 💯. As an entree did the TBone. A bit under whelming for a steak house but the local Malbec was a steal! Restaurant Patacon is the most pleasant culinary surprise in Bariloche and even in Argentina. The place is warm and pleasant. The waitresses are dressed like Cowboys but the service is at the top. The dishes were all excellent. Except for the traditional Patagonian food, we had great starters (boiled cheese. The food was amazing especially the provolone start with mushrooms and red pepper. We went with kids and they offered great food selections for adults and children. I had the oregano chicken with risotto and my husband had the pnocci with bolognese. Our waiter Pablo was excellent.

I went yesterday to El Patacón, and the food was amazing. We ordered lamb baked in clay oven, which was amazing, lecou, which is stew made of lamb neck and osso buco stew. All of them were amazing, expertly cooked, portions were very generous and service was quick. Desserts were also very good, maybe the Tiramisu wasn't as good as I expected, nevertheless it was quite a considerable size and still enjoyable.

What a fantastic experience we had at El Patacon. We got there when they opened and the owners greeted us with a complimentary shot/drink. The ambience put smiles on both of our faces. Our waitress (Flow or Flower? was her nickname) was one of the best of our entire trip. The food was fantastic - we shared a T-Bone steak with two empanadas and a chorizo and all of it was delicious. The red vino from Mendoza was also great. Any/everytime we visit Bariloche we found an awesome place to visit and enjoy dinner.

The areas are well separated, let's do the same with the volume, at least. Greasy red meat bar / burger menu; cardiologists wet dream. A few alternates - fish was really excellent, "fried chicken" was assorted white bits with breading. OK. Dipping or fry sauces atrociously bad, but that's Argentina. Don't get me started on mustards... Their made-in-house beers seem ok, German lager particularly good. Slow service even at 90% capacity - maybe not smart planning for the 4-day weekend. As far as low cheque diners are concerned, get em in - get em out and fill up with bar bill beauties = profit, so have enough servers! Price / quality ok, slightly better than local competition. I'd go back in a pinch.

Great craft beers! Been trying different brands in Argentina and this places is in my top 5. Great music at a reasonable volume. If you are at Bariloche come and grab a pint.

Second time we visited in a week. Franco gave excellent service and remembered us from the first visit. The vegetarian tablas was a super meal for two, Athos G&T, half Parma/ half cheese pizza as well. Sat upstairs on the small deck overlooking the scene.

Nice place with a great atmosphere and really great beers. You can also choose beer tasting (from a long list), and you get a flight of 4 different beers... all of them are very good... so it is easy to get a second flight board after the first one.... Food is good with many typical options, and it is a great choice for a beer-dinner.

It's not as good as breweries in Buenos Aires, but it's probably the best in the region. Everyone else also tells me so. Gets very crowded and has a line to get in in peak times.

We loved Manush, came here twice. The food is really great, I would recommend any meat dish. The beers are local and delicious as well as the cocktails. Very cheap alcohol prices too. 5 stars for sure

We loved it so much that we went back there 3 times during our week stay in Bariloche! The beers and cocktails were yummy, the Manush salad was generous and delicious, and our server Lucas-Daniel was awesome!

My favorite place in Bariloche, we spend 3 nights there having dinner and drinks and everything was really good. The food was good for a bar and the beer is delicious. The device could be a bit better and faster, but overall was a great experience.

Cozy traditional atmosphere, in a swiss-inspired style which common to Bariloche, with succulent dishes and fondues. The apple strudel was superb. Cappuccino could be better. Very warm and attentive service as well.

The worst service I have ever seen in a restaurant in 39 years and in more than 60 counties I have visited! We have been waiting for 30 min at the door with half of the restaurant empty and no one even looks at us…it’s as if they want you to go away…the waitresses are super unkind and unprofessional…when asked a questions we were told by one of them that he is not working anymore and that we have to call a third one…they live by their reputation and location…a classical tourist trap…just avoid…

This place is brilliant, arguably the best food I have tried in Argentina. A very authentic onion soup, great lamb and fondue, not exactly Swiss but very good. The interior is very stylish and takes you to another life which is far from here. Prices are above average but you will not regret.

Nice swiss style restaurant, they even have fondue. Different menus depending of the time of the day. Lunch, latenoon tea, late afternoon light meals and dinner after 8pm. In the patio you can just have drink or cocktail. Food ok, not really special and rather on the costly side.
