Salt Lake City

The city’s historic district is filled with evidence of the Mormon pioneer culture, from the imposing Salt Lake Temple to the old Tabernacle and the Beehive House, the home of Brigham Young. Other notable sites include Temple Square, a 10-acre area of museums, gardens and LDS meetinghouses; and the Utah State Capitol, which is topped with a golden statue of the beehive symbol of Utah.
