Lovely art nouveau museum with stunning stained glass features throughout. Not sure if it's an absolute must-see in Salamanca, but I enjoyed it on the frigid, rainy day that I had in town. The cafe is also fantastic - the decor and the stained glass is really transporting and I very much enjoyed reading my book with a cafe con leche in the space.

this gallery is honestly one of my favourites i’ve ever been to! the collection is small, but with wide variety. it’s one of the most unique galleries i’ve been to, with beautiful art in the form of vases, jewellery and statues. i really enjoyed the emphasis on the female form, lots of art centred around beautiful women while remaining un sexualised. the staff were lovely, the cafe was beautiful and it was an amazing experience. the reviews i’d read left me unsure if i wanted to go, but i would call this a “must have” visit for salamanca. the art and the stained glass is simply awe inspiring - and it’s cheap entry. 5 stars!

The building is beautiful, but honestly, the art pieces look like a collection of a hoarder, just random incoherent pieces and the 1st floor is proper nightmare fuel if you don't like the scary dolls. I assume the reason why you can't photograph inside is because you'll see it's just not worth going inside. The only reason why I gave it 2 stars is because the café, which you can only get into if you pay the entrance fee of the museum, has a beautiful terrace out of the edge of the city. A lovely collection of art deco / art nouveau and couriosities (creepy dolls) in a beautiful period building. The cafe in the back is great as is the gift shop. You don't need more than half an hour here so easily combined with a trip to the cathedral.

The temple is a masterpiece BUT about the guided tour, nowhere on the site it is stated that the guided tour is only in Spanish, that it lasts 2 whole hours and that a good physical condition is required. It was not possible to choose the language of the tour and I was not given any information about it. Some of our group had to stay down while they had paid because they couldn't climb all those steps.Also we didn't all speak Spanish so some of us listened to Spanish non-stop for 2 hours without understanding anything. Great location, perfect lights and simulations but HUGE flaws on the site.

The views are well- signed and the stairs are mostly only up or down. The tower itself has a traffic light. Beware of the ringing of the bells when you're up in the tower. Plates were big enough, we tried “to share”. Better to reserve a table, we had our lunch at the bar, because all tables were reserved. Totally recommend for wine lovers and foodies 🥙 They also sell wine like a wine store.

Very very good. My first time trying tripe with a lemon sauce and I thought it was delicious (my husband wasn’t so keen but that wasn’t due to the excellent preparation, just personal preference). We didn’t order dessert as we avoid gluten, but were offered a sample of the cheesecake to try at the end. It turned out to not have a base and so I wish we had ordered a portion each, it was that good.

The food was terrible. We took “local” white asparagus as the season started and it was a canned one. Still the waiter claimed they were fresh and just prepared! The same with artichokes hearts, which are usually great everywhere in Spain. Fish and meat for the mains were ok but swimming with fried vegetables in grease. Very bad price/quality ratio. Have there a drink to enjoy the view and go to eat elsewhere.

I had the 20€ executive menu for lunch and it was awful. 1) salad full of liquid, with ham drowning in the water, and 1 liter of cocktail sauce 2) Spare ribs badly cooked, raw and stiff. Full of fat and nerves. No respect for the animal that died at all. Fried potatoes tasted bad because of the burned dark oil (probably cooked in petroleum or smth). The waiter even told me that the meat was normal as it was spare ribs… 3) had lemon mousse, and now I have diabetes. Save yourself the pain, and save the 20€.

Service from the moment we walked in and up until we got our entres was amazing but as soon as it started getting a bit busy it all went down from their. The jamón was outstanding. It was the only element in this restaurant that established the fact that this is a Michelin star. We did not enjoy our meal here. The octopus only tasted of paprika and the ham croquetas of mashed potatoes. The piglet, won’t comment. The wine was great but not once were our glasses refilled. Do not recommend
