It's a very beautiful bridge specially at the time of sunset when the sun shines on it from one side. Watch the boats and merchant ships pass under the bridge, watch the giant cruise ship that's parked just near the bridge are some of the activities you could do to spend time on it.

Great viewpoint in Rotterdam. A first elevator brings you to the intermediate terrace and for extra 7 €, you can enter the rotating cabin that takes you to the top of the tower. Thrilling!

I have vertigo but my date REALLY wanted to go up there. If you have vertigo yo *can* go all the way, just make sure to use the elevator from the observation deck by the restaurant to the lift that takes you to the top, the other option is taking the steps and I barely managed to go up. Still, was lucky enough to get there by sunset and the views are breathtaking. The fact you can choose to block the view on the floor was a nice touch. Amazing place. Loved it.

Came here for a high tea on the first day they reopened. Service was amazing, our servers were absolutely lovely! ❤️ Food and tea selection were great! 😊 We couldn't access the top tower, but the view was stunning from the lower observation decks.

The view is amazing but the experience is not well organized. You buy an upgrade ticket for ride to the top and reserve a time, but when you get there you need to wait 45min in a line at the deck in the middle of the tower with a crazy wind

Great views of Rotterdam and extra can be paid to go all the way to the top of the spire in a sat down spinning section. There's a glass floor option with this that can be toggled on and off at.your feet if you're not a fan. A good experience but can be very busy with queues. Recommended to book a timeslot before coming and go walk in the park beforehand. You will have to queue for the top lift bit no matter what, no time slot booking for that to walk on.

Great view and very easy to get on top. Unfortunately the upper part of the tower is under renovation so we weren't able to get the full experience. Nevertheless you have a wonderful view, as well as a restaurant, giftshop, little bar etc...

If you want to show the city and its history to a friend or to anyone, then this place is the best place to visit; you can show them all parts of the city of Rotterdam and they can understand how the city is divided naturally by the water 💦💦 They can take good memorial photos and videos with amazing backgrounds and views. But,there are few things to consider when you are coming to visit the Euromast, check the weather, because if it's raining or too much wind, you won't enjoy it,and sometimes they will not allow you to go to the top if it's bad weather. Also, if you are visiting between October and April, it might be a little cold, so bring a jacket with you Enjoy!!

We bought the eruoscoop (you get to go all the way to the top in a glass elevator) it was really nice, we could also stop at the halfway point to look and take pictures before going all the way up. The line to go on the lift went fairly fast and when we left through the gift shop I accidentally left my wallet but once I realized and came back for it, it had already been put away in lost and found! :) very nice staff

What a gem of a place! I absolutely loved how well the place was organized and maintained. I didn’t have any expectations when I booked the experience, but I enjoyed it so much that I left thinking I need to come back and spend a whole day there. They have many interactive points for education, where storytelling starts based on sensors and gives an overview of the animals in that specific area. The only downside is that those are mainly in Dutch. Food courts are convenient to reach in nicely planned areas so you have to option to relax if you feel like you need it, without interfering too much in the areas specially designed for showing a particular region and the animals. The food is also diverse, from different cuisines, which was surprisingly pleasant. They really designed a journey to discover the world/ nature and try to recreate a proper experience. Definitely recommending! I went on a public holiday so quite a lot of kids running everywhere, but I still had a blast :)

This app is amazing. I used to think the San Diego Zoo was great. No longer. The animals here clearly have great care. They are organized by continent and are easy to find. There are many planned spaces to help children exhaust their play needs. The food we had was also reasonably priced and yummy. This place is not only designed to exhibit the animals well and teach environmental and world care but with human comfort as well.

Very big place. Not only good as zoo but as a park. Aquarium is a big one too with a good variety. Noticeable how many animals were born in this zoo, meaning that animals are getting really good care

It's a wonderful place to spend your whole day. The best part of the zoo is the oceanium. Although it gets a little confusing at times to navigate through the place when you miss something and you wanna go back but after a while you get the hang of it. Definitely keep 5-6 hours of you wanna enjoy the place at a relaxed pace.

Really enjoyed our day at the zoo. We went with our 2 year old son. It was all well taken care of for a family visit. Clear paths, plenty of small food shops. Unfortunately no halal options, but then again, there was enough vegetarian options. Will most likely visit again.

It was very nice trip. The zoo has lots of nice animals with multiple view angles indoor and outdoor, so you should be able to see the animals in different seasons. The aquarium section was also nice. There are many rest stations with different food options across the zoo. It is easy to spend 7 hours there without feeling bored or disappointed.

Really nice zoo to visit in the city of Rotterdam. The zoo isn't that big, but it's not that small either. A good days walk about with closing hours at 6 p.m. unless you buy an evening ticket. The kids enjoyed, but got a bit fussy because of the walking and the lovely warm sun. The different restaurant terraces were quite full which made it so much more enjoyable. We didn't get to see the black rhinos and the crocodiles, but another reason to go back for another visit.

An amazing zoo. There are a lot of sections like the Asian, African, Amazonian, and an aquarium. The zoo is full of animals from different conteninets, and the zoo is really big that it needs at least 4 to 5 hours to cover all the sections and enjoy the place. Highly recommended.

Very good experience. Perfect for a day trip. Also very engaging for the kids. There are lots of animals and most of them are easy to spot except a few such as lion or tiger. You have to make extra efforts or wait for long time for them to make appearance. However no complaints. Food is also nice.

Lovely zoo, one of (if not the) oldest zoos in the Netherlands. We had a great time there, you can and probably but your tickets online. The staff was very flexible with the closing time, we appreciated that a lot. ☺️ Thank you, we'll definitely be back! 🙏

A beautiful Zoo in the city of Rotterdam. Easy to travel to by public transport. One of the largest Zoos in the Netherlands. Different areas with species like the Oceanic world where you walk through the Ocean beneath the sharks and rays. A lot to see and explore! A long day out if you'll bring the kids, locations to play are all around the park. This month you also can see the babyboom of the animal kingdom. Before visiting be sure you'll get your tickets online, it's mostly cheaper and you've got the tickets digitally with you...

Very nice zoo located within 15 min walk from Rotterdam central Station. Very good use of the available space, multiple spots to view the enclosures from and open enclosures (almost no bars and a lot of glass and plastic). For some of the animals that means a very close viewing experience. The app from the zoo shows a daily schedule for feedings of some of the animals, also webcams available for some of the enclosures.

Great learning experience, beautiful views of the city, a wonderful time when you are discovering a new city with the family. A wonderful concept to explore new ways to use small places as homes! Clean, very nice and the host is so nice that she offered to take our pictures when she noticed that we were having difficulties to take the pictures. It was awesome and we enjoyed a beautiful time there.

I had the opportunity to visit Cube House in Rotterdam, and even though I didn't explore the interior, the exterior alone left a lasting impression with its remarkably unique architecture. I highly recommend taking the time to visit the area and soak in the striking design. For those curious to delve deeper, you can step inside the house for a mere 3 euros, offering a chance to experience its intriguing interior firsthand.

It is interesting to observe the houses, but in my opinion, it is not really a surprise how the houses work. However the interior is nice. You are charged €3 for visiting a house. Some housea are private houses or offices that are not open for the public. As far as thw concept is concerned, it is interesting

undoubtedly one of the most unique housing developments you will ever see, in the Netherlands and in the world. it’s free to wander around at your leisure, €3 to enter one of the houses and take a little tour. well worth the small price. gives you a fascinating look into how exactly you’d live in one of these houses. also ends up making a very nice pedestrian bridge over one of the busiest roads in rotterdam and you can watch the traffic go by. pretty cool at night

Cool to see how people would live in these houses and definitely answers that question. I do believe that they could've styled the interior design more homely so that you don't have to guess how people would actually use certain spaces that weren't obvious like the kitchen and bedroom. Sort of how IKEA displays small rooms fully furnished.

It’s rather a lifetime opportunity to see one from inside, to not be disappointed do not expect too much, as it’s not a museum. It seems the owner lives there, so the experience is more like visiting a friend’s house for the first time than visiting a museum exhibition. If it’s crowded inside just wait a bit ‘cos people get in and out constantly. For EUR 3 it was a good experience, the tickets are available on the spot.

Super cute place with the architecture!!! Would definitely recommend to visit when in Rotterdam. Get a coffee or some food down at the little cute old harbour or visit the one open example cube apartment to see how people actually live in those cube houses. Food places in Rotterdam are amazing and the entire city is very beautiful.

Impressive building with a art world to be discovered. I can recommend a free guided tour. It will help you to understand the building, the collection and the way they store.

I couldn’t get tickets to enter, but went to see it from outside and at night they have nice illuminations on the floor, and the architecture and door details was great to appreciate without entering the building though.

Actually it is open now, but there is construction works near by. It is nice gallery with modern shop. You should buy a ticket in advance because it’s popular place. After 8:30 guard can let you on the rooftop for free. There are restaurant and nice view point. You can watch cool light show after sunset near by entrance.

A really nice place with impeccable vibes but can be a little too crowded for me especially during peak times making it really difficult to find a place. We ended up awkwardly standing in the middle of the bar with people all around us. The place itself is lovely though. It has an old school bar vibe that sets the atmosphere really well! Would definitely recommend going if you're planning to stop by during the weekdays.

Location: New York location is amazing both the terrace as well as the hotel restaurant. Nice vibe and versatile for all types of outings. Terrace has sun till late with its west facing location. 5/5 Food: ok. Used to be really nice years ago with signature avocado salad and cakes but not anymore. 3/5 Service: I had good and bad experiences. It feels a bit like a factory. 3/5

I visited Rotterdam for a day with my Dad and this was one of THE places to visit according to him. We honestly only got a drink at the terrace, but it seemed to be a great place. I'll say that we visited on a very hot day. The terrace was unfortunately completely cut off from the wind due to it being enclosed on most sides by glass. Which caused it to be very very toasty. I do, however, think that this will be a good thing on any day with temperatures below 21C/70F.

We actually used only the outside terrace for a drink. Nice place to sit and watch the water traffic. Gives a little extra in being an iconic hotel with history. Service was good, nice atmosphere and fairly busy on a sunny day with strong winds.

Exceptional experience at the Hotel New York. Located in one of the most picturesque places in Rotterdam, we came in to the HNY on a sunny Saturday afternoon to celebrate a 21st birthday and the spread was perfect. Ordering the 5 Course Oyster menu and a seafood sharing platter, the chef's did not hold back with the quantity or flavour! Fresh clams, lobster and oysters were definitely the highlight. The staff were very attentive and helped us with an ideal afternoon. Five stars all round, would definitely recommend to anyone wanting good food and experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had High Tea in hotel’s restaurant and really enjoyed it! It’s nice experience to see their old interiors which looks like a boat. Also, New York hotel building has something magical in it and I wonder how lucky we are that this survived old times and now can be visited among modern architecture.

Kinda noisy but nice service. It's all about the history. It was special and has artifacts from the cruise ships that brought people to America. We also saw the SS Amsterdam which is docked near the hotel/restaurant. It was really nice to see where brave family members took the leap of faith to come to America

A big, popular and therefore busy restaurant and hotel. So it’s good to reserve ahead. The hotel is located in the old offices of the Holland America cruise line, and they have some lovely rooms overlooking the water. The water-view-rooms on the second floor have recently been renovated. The restaurant has a shellfish bar/section, but you can also order from the menu. We were quite happy with the personal service despite the fact that it was busy. It’s a large and quite noisy place, with high ceilings. Great atmosphere but if you’re looking for a quiet dining experience then I believe this is not your restaurant.

The front office staff were very friendly and provided great service. Obviously the decor is stunning and the room was ok, for more than €250,- a night (without breakfast, thats another €23,- p.p.), that was disappointing. Little things were broken (light, remote for the airco) and a bit worn down (the furniture and textiles). The stunning view made up for it a bit. We planned on having drinks and oysters at 5 in the oysterbar. Once we were seated. There was no service, not only our table but the whole section of the restaurant…after 25 minutes we went to ask staff for drinks.Oysters are €23,50 for 6 pieces. Which is on the menu as a tasting option of different kind of oysters. Unfortunately nobody could explain what oysters they were or what the difference was. After that we had a reservation at the basement restaurant of the hotel. We had a time window of 2 hours because of a show we were going to. We were promised we could do the 5 course dinner in that time. The service was friendly but very pushy. We had 3 staff and a manager topping up the waterglasses, every few minutes and in the end offering a supplementary cheese plate for which we had to wait so long we missed the desert and no solution was offered. To pay €250,- for mediocre food and 4 glasses of wine and having to rush out, was a bit of a shame. All in all, room for improvement on all levels.

Unfortunately all 'service' stops there because we sit for almost fifteen minutes with many staff walking by, scowling as much as the ignorant hostess, but no one actually interested in taking our order. We get up and leave via the hotel's entrance where we pass a bellman in uniform who can't be bothered to greet us, or hold open the door, just more scowling. Note to Hotel New York and staff: please get over yourselves, many other welcoming places in Rotterdam are worthy of tourists' hard-earned money.

This hotel is much more charming than the photos. Especially the rooms. Had a room with a tub and that was nice. The furniture is a nice design. There’s a great selection of teas and coffees in the room. Some major points are lost on lack of body wash, ironing board and mini fridge. Tried getting a chair for the shower and there’s only 1 for the whole hotel. Be prepared to take stairs starting with the entrance. It is not an accessible hotel. Whatever you do avoid the restaurant, food took over n hour to show up and was very mediocre and dry. Not worth €90 for 2 lunches.

The best of Rotterdam!!! Everything was super fantastic and amazing. Our minds are blown! Our waitress Lilly was very nice, helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was great. The attention to details on food was immaculate. P/s: Apple pie was out of this world, don't visit Rotterdam without trying Dudok's apple pie. We will definitely remember Dudok when our trip comes to an end, but thank you Dudok!

Dudok is the heart of Rotterdam. One of the only places that has been there for more than 15 years. I love their chocolate truffle taart. It hits the right spot with just the right amount of chocolate and bottom layer of biscuit. We recommend going and enjoying this in Rotterdam when you visit.

Had a delicious brunch with my mom here. Food was great and served very fast. The service was friendly but, unfortunately, a bit disorganized and chaotic at times. We liked the atmosphere and the location. We recommend visiting Dudok!

Good food, perfect place for lunch. The weather was great so we decided to have a seat on the terrace. Although it is lovely to sit outside. There are lots of loud cars driving past which do make the place a little less except if you’re into high performance cars of course. The staff was super friendly as well and there are loads of options on the menu.

Perfect place for breakfast! Staff was really friendly and we did not wait long for the food. It was really yummy! The look of the restaurant was nice! We liked it and we really recommend it!

Friendly and attentive waitress. The food was served fast and is really authentic. We ordered the grilled octopus, panzerotto with spicy salami, the layered aubergine and tiramisu. All dishes were delicious, but the layered aubergine was a bit to cheesy for me.

Great food and great service. This isn't a big restaurant but of the size of a cafe. Its serves some nice italian food from Puglia. We tried many panzerotto and all were tasty. Definitely a goto place for good food in Rotterdam central.

One of the best panzerotti I’ve ever had including all the ones I ate in Italy. I could taste a bit of home in every bite. Usually they bother my stomach because they are fried but this one was amazing! It wasn’t oily at all and it was so light. I got the classic one with tomato sauce and mozzarella filling. I can say it is really authentic Italian. The staff is Italian and they are very nice. I will for sure go back when I go to Rotterdam, maybe next time have the big sized one.

Actually a great place. I noticed the place when it first opened, but it actually never tempted me, as it looked a little boring from the outside. Now, I am happy to say: I was surprised in a good way. Give it a try, whether for dine in or a takeaway, you won't regret. Tasty, authentic, and actually very affordably (for Rotterdam) priced food. I am a big fan of the Panzerotti dough, which reminds me of Hungarian Lángos, the filling did not necessarily enhance the flavours. You get your own waiter, who takes care of you throughout your stay. Our waiter definitely had a unique personality and a way of approaching guests, which I found refreshing (CHEERS!).

What a delish!! Same taste like I recall from Bari . You feel the qualitative ingredients, both for salty and sweet products. It’s really busy , and you have 1:15hr allocated , so I recommend you book in advance to have this chance to try these amazing products. Definitely I will come back!!

Mouth-watering dishes! All of great quality (Savory Panzerelli, Panzerotto Tonnato, Lasagna Casereccia), sure the rest is delicious as well. Can assure you that this place will not disappoint. A definite recommend! Already came to Panzero twice in 2 months and I do not even live in Rotterdam. Along with that the staff does an amazing to help you as quick as they can it makes for a rememborable experience.

Small like all restaurants of the area, but cosy. The food is original, the bread looks and tastes amazing. Service is very kind. Lasagne and albergine were the best, super nice. Octopus was good too. Home made Tiramisu very good too. Recommended.

This was some highly flavourful, authentic food! The bread first of all was nicely seasoned and well-made, but the star of the bread i took here was the octopus, very big yet tender tentacles with great flavour. The marinated artichoke also added a lot of depth, although slightly oily. Great stuff, perfect for lunch.

Quaint little authentic southern Italian restaurant, nestled in a courtyard of chic restaurants district. Don’t expect your usual pizza and pasta, rather try out their Panzerotto (fried folder pizza) and Puccia (oven baked crusty pizza “sandwich”). Their grilled octopus is highly recommended.

What a lovely little Italian restaurant in the centre of Rotterdam. Amazing tastes, great atmosphere, very quick and pleasant service. We liked everything we tried. It is highly recommended if you're in the area!

We had very nice variety of Aisian fusion food at Umami. Portions of Ramen and Sandwich were good for 1 person. All attack snack was not enough for 1 person. Taste of all food items were mind blowing. Sandwich was OK not great. Loved the taste of salads. Too good. Food presentation was awesome and creative. Location was great. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

We had the four-course preset menu alongside wine paring and some cocktails. All in all, we liked the experience and the food was satisfying in both taste and portion. Food at Umami is creative, some being a bit generic but some being quite tasteful. We really like the shrimp with tomato sauce, it really felt like a good fusion between Eastern and Western food. The potato and carrot was delicious, I wanted to ask for more. Wine paring was rather disappointing, or should I say we expected a little more. It was not bad paring but somehow didn’t enhance the food that was served. Maybe Asian food has too much character that the wine with it feels a bit off? Cocktails were fine, not too special. Go for Gin based cocktail and it’s safe. The service was good, staffs were attentive when needed. They didn’t pay special attention to each table but the service was smooth and everybody was kind and smiley. The atmosphere is not bad, although the acoustic made it difficult to understand everything. Also the entrance part of the restaurant has better lighting and inviting feel to it, compared to the ones we sat near the toilet. I think it is an interesting restaurant if you like trying different dishes with creative twist in it. Considering that it is a course meal, the price is also not too bad.

The staff were fabulous, very enthusiastic and kind. They made us feel very welcomed into the establishment. We got to choose the small shared dishes and it was great! Initially I thought they were too small but after three courses, I did feel satisfied. The flavours gelled together, we recommend the scallops, duck, beans and squid.

Great Asian fusion restaurant with social dining concept. It even comes at a very affordable price. Great for a date or sharing all the dishes with a group of friends. Very professional and friendly staff in a quiet environment in the center of Rotterdam. Definitely worth a visit. The other locations are also great.

We had the 3 course Michelin menu. The food was fantastic, really refined and tasteful. With the 3 course that had 2 plates every course we had plenty of food. Service was good. Atmosphere could be a bit better. For a place that serves multiple dishes at the same time the tables were a bit small.

Affordable fine dining? Yes. Quality as fine dining? No. The focus is more on table turnover than bringing out quality food. For what the restaurant portrays to be quite dissapointing. Service was in the right spot.

Umami by Han serves amazingly intricate Asian fusion dishes. We had three rounds where each of us ordered two dishes (sharing is recommended!). We absolutely loved each round especially the first one. All of the dishes are well thought out and taste incredible. In the last round you also get a portion of rice, so dinner was very filling!

Excellent Asian restaurant with good quality food. This place is a busy and buzzing local restaurant with an authentic Asian vibe. The food is fresh, flavorful and well portioned. Pricing is ok. The staff is friendly and focused on serving you quickly. You can clearly feel the restaurant is focused on quick turnaround times, so if you’re looking for a place to linger or enjoy a long after dinner conversation, you should probably move to one of the pubs in the surroundings. Excellent place for a quick and tasteful lunch or dinner. Try the home made ice teas, they’re worth it.

Very beautiful interior, love the set up of this place. It gives a very cozy and intimate vibe. The food was really good too. We had the mixed grill. The service was really good in terms of everyone really friendly and thoughtful. Just a little tip for the restaurant. When you have a party of 3 it is maybe not so handy to bring out one out of the three plates 15 minutes before. It can create an awkwardness at the table. The restaurant was not so busy and the service was a little slow. Therefore one star deducted as the restaurant prices are a bit steep. I would recommend this place and probably be returning in the near future.

All in all, a pretty nice place. Delicious if you don't like spicier Asian cuisine (if you want spicier, you can ask and they will bring you a "special" sauce that you can pour over the dish, but the effect is not the same as if you cooked spicier right away). The staff is friendly and welcoming, although they may say that there are no free tables, although we see them or bring a dirty menu. The choice of dishes, on the one hand, is quite large, on the other hand, most of the dishes are similar to each other and lack Vietnamese street food. What is definitely good is the atmosphere and location of the restaurant. All in all, a good place, although not without flaws.

Amazing food, high quality and big portions. The interior design gives an exotic vibe. Very stylish. Good for date nights but also for a good filling lunch. Overall highly recommend. I had a vegan dish I wasn't sure was going to be too exciting, but it exceeded expectations.

Without a doubt a very nice looking place. Unfortunately, meals are adjusted to accommodate the flavour buds of the locals, therefore, if you are looking for genuine Vietnamese cuisine, this is not the place, the food is ok though. Very sticky tables.

Pleasant busy vibe. The cocktails are fabulous, it’s clear the bartenders are trained. We ordered 2x 4 course surprise dishes and the waiter set expectations in advance the kitchen is closing at 9:30 so we had less time between courses which I didn’t mind. Despite how busy it was myself and my partner received a warm welcome and at no point did we feel ignored. I can’t give 5 stars due to the delay in seating. Arrived at 8:05 with a reservation for 8:15. Seated at 8:35. Bathroom was very aesthetic and complemented the restaurant. The large dining tables gave an authentic feel. No cheap tacky disposable chopsticks either. We also witnessed two birthday celebrations which was great to see and didn’t disturb our experience. Appreciated the waiters explaining each dish and also how to eat it which added so much to the experience. This was a first time I was impressed by a starter. The soup was complex.

Very delicious Vietnamese restaurant, beautiful interior, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and delicious food. Reservation is highly recommended. Restaurant is very well situated in the city centre next to the Old Church.

After visiting Little V The Hague, we wanted to try Rotterdam as well. Great authentic Vietnamese food! A very nice terrace, cosy interior and a good service! We will come back!

Nice place to have a lunch or dinner. Friendly staff. Nice place to eat outside. They have terrace heaters so don't worry if it will be colder. Variety of food on the menu card. It has the same owner of DODO. Keep up the great work.

The food is good and the atmosphere is great. The restaurant is beautiful. But the staff is a bit inattentive and for the price and the location, I expected the food to be way tastier. Cocktails are great.

Delicious food and tastes really authentic. Great tips on how to eat the summer rolls from the staff as well. Nice atmosphere inside, makes you feel like you’re eating street food because of the way the restaurant is set up.
