This landmark is the most beautiful and recognizable one in Rome, Italy. Please book you ticket and slot beforehand. very busy but well controlled by the staff. you can reach easily by taking metro. its a symbol of ancient rome. Useful audio guide. All of the basics were included. You can get the overall picture about the Colosseum and it's history. Of course, priority entry line is also big benefit. Would definitely recommend. The Colosseum is more than just an ancient amphitheater built in the 1st century—it's a symbol of Rome. Naturally, it's one of the most popular monuments in town. The place is undeniably magnificent from the outside. Standing 160 feet tall and made of brick, concrete, and limestone, the Colosseum is an awe-inspiring testament to Roman building.

This was a bucket list item of mine, and although we arrived too late in the day to visit, it was still amazing to visit at night. The shear size of it is something to see. To hear the history of what occurred, there is equally amazing. The Metro station was nearby, so it's easily accessible. A quick hop on and hop off had you in multiple places in the city. A visit here at sunset makes for a lighter crowd and some great pictures.

Great piece of history from the ancient Roman Empire. Highly recommend to use a tour guide as they will get you to the front of the queues and will give history as well. You should definitely stop in here if your are in Rome. I have been twice and still am in awe when I go. Out of season is best if you can do it less crowds and not hot.

Visited my first 7 wonders of the world with Crown Tours and it was a superb experience 👍🏻 Have always loved watching the Roman history shows and this was top of the list when we are planning our Europe trip - definitely worthwhile to get access to the Arena (maybe even the underground tour) if you are into history of the Colosseum! 🏟️ It was an eye opening experience stepping into the gladiator arena, imaging thousands of Romans looking down at you from the partially restored stadium, and actual gruesome fights taking place on the floor you stood on. Definitely a must visit from anywhere in the world given its rich history and status 👍🏻

It is as amazing as you thought it would be. Definitely by tickets in advance and if you can afford skip the line, do it. Getting in and through security takes a while. I took a tour including the gladiator entrance and don't recommend it. It's cool to see but the view isn't so different from above. The tour affirmed that the movies usually did a good job of depicting history. I didn't know ahead of time that the second floor was full of information and displays. It's interesting and you can pick and choose what is interesting for you. It can get hot, a lot of people brought fans and umbrellas. There is a bathroom outside after you leave. It cost a Euro to use and unless you really have to go, I do not recommend it.

The ultimate Roman masterpiece! Well preserved and well presented. Tickets must be booked in advance from official site. Google map location search too will direct you to official site. You can walk along the route mentioned, experience and exit. There is an audio/video guide which can be purchased on site with an additional cost of EUR 6.00. However, it has only overall details like history, construction, gladiators etc. no point to point guiding and explanation relevant to each point. There is an underground section below arena. To visit it needs a full experience ticket which I could not find in the web site at a glance. Rome has all the systems in place to do things easy. But there are no proper explanations on the web sites or people concerned. All attractive looks like taken over by guided tour operators who charge significantly high prices. All attractions in Rome, book online in advance to avoid disappointment.

Beautiful place, definitely worth going inside to have a look. Make sure to buy tickets before hand to save some time. I would recommend visiting either at 9am or in the evening after 3 as these are the coolest times to visit, during mid day it can get very hot inside. If you are a photographer, make sure to take a telephoto lens as well as a wide angle 16mm lens - as this will allow you to take photos of the finer details when you are inside.

A place worth visiting once in a lifetime. feels like going back 3000 years ago. very well maintained, and they do cool program for tourism. Buy tickets online to save time. Tickets can enter 3 locations close to each other, suitable for spending 1 day to visit and enjoy. marvel at the construction and design capabilities of the roman civilization. I'm not really happy about what happened here, in the past, but I have a lot of respect for history.

Beautiful place to visit, if you care for historical architecture. We visited the place in Mid August when the temperature was really high. But it was still very enjoyable. The museum/display on the top floor was very informative. And it looks as if they are still building it out. The restaurant right across the street are very convenient as well. Worlds largest amphitheatre and still remains the largest!!! Great view

Amazing Historical Place to visit once in a life time. We did not purchase tickets in advance but that was okay. We were in line about 30 minutes. That was it. Our Tickets can access to Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hills about 48 hours. Once we got tickets, we filled our water bottles, and they let us go in, meanwhile people who booked a tour were still in line to get in. It was amazing.

Just a fantastic building. Truly a wonder of the world. Was awestuck by the grandeur of the place. It was so huge. It was a great experience recalling the days when the gladiators fought in the arena. With 45k people roaring. Just a fantastic place. Would highly recommend getting a paid tour to visit in advance.

It is okay but I don't really get the hype with it. Rome is full of fountains, but this is maybe the biggest. It it extremely crowded. It is one of that places, landmarks you just need to cross of your list in a big city. From an architectural point of view it is very beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful! You turn the corner and see such a spectacular fountain - beautiful in every way. If you want a pic up front take 15 mins to wait and grab a great spot with your family. It's worth it.

We had a great time in the fountain with friends and took some lovely pictures. It was enjoyable to be in the water, tossing coins and making memories. Despite it being 5:00 AM, there was still a large crowd waiting for us to take pictures. This place is quite famous, and people often visit with their loved ones. The night is especially beautiful.

The fountain was a spectacular site today surrounded with beautiful weather, we arrived at 15:00 local time on a Tuesday and safe to say there were at least 1500 people there taking photos and all pushing to get a photo close to the fountains edge. It's very hard to get through the crowd. Beautiful clear water with an aqua blue background. Very happy to have seen it first hand. 😀

One of the most famous monuments in Rome was a little disappointing for us. The fountain is without a doubt beautiful, the work of art is truly amazing, but it is a bit unluckily placed - it's surrounded on all sides by large buildings, so there is quite a small space around the fountain for the large number of people who want to take pictures with the fountain. It was also surprising to discover that the fountain is fenced on all sides.

This is a very popular and crowded are in Rome so it’s a bit difficult to get photos of the fountain if you want to only have yourself in the shot. The fountain is amazing to see in person as it’s architecture is immaculate and worth the visit. You maybe bothered by people trying to sell junk to you but overall must visit. The atmosphere is amazing and the fountain is featured in many different movies so it’s nice to be able to see in person.

Remarkable is all I can say. Beautiful white marble. It was a little crowded but didn't have a problem in the month of November. Getting some really good pictures. Definitely worth a visit and it's free and you can take some time and sit and just enjoy at the moment.

Well, if you want to return to Rome u must visit and remember to throw a coin over your left shoulder with your right hand standing with your back to the fountain 😁. It's part of Rome to experience a great walk and a must photo has thousands of other tourists who stand with you. We had the luck to have our room a minute walk from the fountain so we came early to do the ceremony. But we were there at night also and its also great .

The Trevi fountain was one of the single most beautiful monuments in all of Rome. It offered enchanting sculptures of Oceanus , beautiful sun beams casting onto the crystal blue water and ricocheting onto the statues. If you come during the early morning or later evening there is much less of a crowd and it is easier to enjoy a pistachio croissant while you watch the city of Rome wake up from the incredible fountain!

It's another bucket list location which we visited in July 2023, yes, when the weather was hitting 40C! Not ideal but didn't spoil the experience. The fountain is truly amazing, make sure to really spend time looking over the detail of the fountain, lots of gems within the design of it. Just remember it's a popular spot, you are not going to get the place to yourself by any means. Easily thousands at any one time. Also worth visiting both in the day time and at night.

Spectacular. Not my taste as I prefer antiquity but impressive as a baroque masterpiece of aquatic art. Would love to do behind the scenes tour. Recommend that visits be made early morning or towards sunset for shade if visiting in the summer and to avoid excessive crowds. It's in a small piazza and was wall to wall with people at 5pm.

The fountain itself is amazingly beautiful! It is quite packed with people throughout the day. Go at night! The lights on the water make it feel surreal. Also less people. Definitely check it out if you're in Rome.

This place was a lot more beautiful than I expected. The architecture was amazing and so well kept. It's very well lit at night and also really nice to look at it during the day. It's in a nice area with other beautiful buildings (one right across from the fountain, see picture) and souvenir shops! As many others say this is a must stop while your in Rome, you will not be disappointed!

Stunning! So glad we made time to swing by and see the majesty of this public art in a small unassuming square. Photos don't do it justice. It's especially impressive at night. We emerged from a small side street to see this massively gorgeous fountain with rippling turquoise water all lit up against the evening's black sky. Just glorious! I'd expect nothing less from Rome.

Majestic Trevi Fountain is the biggest Baroque example of its kind in the city of Rome and completed in 1762. Can be very crowded but spectacular to see it on a decent day with sunshine. If there is too many people try coming back if you have enough time. It is at the intersection of 3 streets hence the derived name. We found a hotel nearby for lunch that did an all can you eat buffet for a great price so we had a wonderful day. Definitely worth seeing this masterpiece if you're visiting Rome.

Gorgeous fountain, as beautiful and cool a structure as the hype, but there was basically a mob around the area (we went in April, on a weekday morning, should've been off-peak, so I can't imagine what it must be like in the summer), which severely hampered the experience. Nevertheless, still worth going, a lot of lovely shops nearby. Just don't expect to get pictures without people in them!

Definitely worth the visit. You can't just see it from far away. You have to experience it. The line is long but moves quickly and its just for the ticket turnstiles. Once through you can take your time and enjoy. Very crowded but a great way to see the surrounding sites as well if you don't want to spend the extra money. Don't miss it. It's a once in a life time.

It is an amazing construcción, with very high level of engineering even for this era. It is a place were you can find a moment of peace and reflection too, beside been a Roman landmark, because you can even seat and pray if you want. Staff is very kind and helpful and booking system control the amount of people inside to avoid overcrowded. My recommendation book in advance, respect dress code because is a church, be respectful with other visitors and give the chance to take pictures if you already take yours. We didn’t book guided tour, nevertheless we were very fortunate to meet a Roman senior who was so kind to give us detailed explanation of the construction details and historic highlights, without us asking him. We are very thankful with him.

Round church with square front and high roof! I loved that but not the ticket! There was long line but staff where quick. It took me 10 – 15minutes to get in. They were helpful and customer-oriented. Information were provided for each section. Just a few minutes’ walk to Trevi Fountain or Spanish Step. Seats provided inside to sit and enjoy! Overall, recommended.

Astonishing beautiful! There is no word to describe this building. It is one of a kind landmark in architecture world. If you are an architect or have a neck for buildings and visit this place then u’ll know what I’m talking about! It’s just perfect!

A unique architecture. A huge monument. One of the most iconic sites in the eternal city! The light coming from the ceiling is magical. All spots in this place deserve to be visited. A special advice: stay in the middle of the pantheon and look at the sky and feel the magic of the clouds and the sky. A must see place!

Wonderful. It looks very old, lots of fractured beams, wooden roof also has wear and tears. But the idea is amazing. The ceiling has a big hole and sunlight comes through it and illuminates the interior. The entrance is free and there is in general a small line, thus going inside should not be a problem. Worth visit when in Rome.

Got here right before the closing time and couldn’t enter inside. The building itself was stunning. Outside sitting at the Piazza fella Rotonda and looking at this magnificent art also was nice. There are many businesses around for you to sit down and enjoy. The sky gradually darkened and the lights started to shine, the whole area was attractive. So bear in mind, don’t come late or even buy the ticket online first😀

Beautiful interiors. If you’re into art and architecture this is a must stop! But beware of the lines!you can buy the tickets online though. We stood in line for about 20 mins till we were allowed access. Also pointer tip get the audio guide its 2 euros and very informative! Its located inside the pantheon

Very beautiful Temple/church. It's definitely a place to visit. If you want to see it inside, I would book ahead. We only saw from the outside, not the inside, the lines of people were too long to wait to look inside.

A landmark full of history that is a must in Rome. I would recommend having the audio guide because it provides great insights not only about the history of the Pantheon but also its architectural brilliance. Book tickets in advance and be prepared to wait in line even with the tickets. The waiting time can go above 1h but we "only" waited for 25 minutes.

Very impressive and with lots of history inside and outside. Not sure with the entrance requirements ( 1st July 2022). Sometimes you just show up and can go inside and other days you need a prior booking. To be sure best book in advance if you are planning, or size the opportunity if you're paying by and see no queue.

They now charge you €5 compared to free of charge earlier and it's a huge queue, so would recommend booking in advance. The architecture is amazing and the monument is worth visiting. It's one of the oldest and still intact structures

Incredible building. The space has to be experienced. Like other Roman structures in the city it has been preserved by virtue of becoming a church. There are snippets of the Roman construction in amongst the ecclesiastical opulence and not much information about the pagan heritage of the building is freely available. We did not get audio guides however. The website did not work and getting advance tickets at the admission price of 5.5 euros was impossible. We paid double but had to pick up tickets from the piazza Navona or wait in a long queue in the sun.

Fascinating look at many aspects of Rome in one spot. I originally was just playing to stop by a few minutes at Piazza on my way to the Vatican. However I was impressed with the many elements, sights and sounds there and ended spending over an hour just wondering around. The intriguing thing I found is watching all the people from tourists, to locals to buskers to people selling all mixed in this large open space. There was no less than 6 different musicians playing the afternoon I was there, each with a completely different instrument and music. Listening to them while wandering around, looking at the fountains was quite relaxing despite the large amount of people. Didn't have time to stop for food, and I don't know how the various restaurants are, but it would be a treat to have a drink while people watching.

The famous plaza in Rome. The fountains are especially beautiful but mind the sun in the noon it can be scorching hot out there. The restaurants are pretty pricey (of course you have to pay the view) and offer sub par food quality. But all in all worth a visit.

A wonderful place to be. Restaurant, souvenir shop and all kind of artistic people gathering around an architecture surrounding square. The place is open to all free, for strolling, shopping , eating or taking photos, you won't be disappointed. It is a place for enjoyment and memories.

Amazing scenery will greet you around all four corners of this Piazza... social environment for people who you'll see dancing, singing, performing different arts and just having a good time next to the ocean. A lot of people also take their dogs for walks here, which is nice. We also saw a lot of people jogging or exercising in groups on the waters edge. Always helps to have a nice view while training. You will also see alot of sailboats and smaller boats on this side of the harbor. Water taxi's are also something to experience. Helping people get across the harbors waters with no effort. Awesome place and a must visit, especially if you have a guide to give you the detail and historical facts about this place. Very cool to see and experience

A vast area with lots of sculptures and fun activities happening all around. Is a leisure place to hang out at free time. It is assured that no one can get bored as there are several artists performing or creating something or the other all around this piazza. The best thing is all these marvellous Locations are well and closely knit within walking distance.

Nice place to visit. It’s an open place so no need for tickets. Best to visit in daylight. You will find a lot of restaurants nearby and many shops to buy souvenirs. Come with a companion who can click your photographs for the memory.

Another worthy visit in Rome. To be fair, the fountains, monuments and cafes are not quite as famous as some other parts of Rome but the sum of each together is worth a visit. Have a drink at one of the bars and enjoy the world going buy. It's a popular tourist spot so will get very busy.

An absolutely beautiful plaza. Well kept and has some great history if you choose to look into it. However, I'm marking it down a star due to the constant harassment of street sellers and even the restaurants surrounding the plaza trying to get you to buy stuff when honestly, we just want to view the architecture and at our own pace, not interrupted every 30 seconds by people nagging us to buy stuff.

Piazza Navona is pure magic. The moment I stepped onto the cobblestones, I was captivated by the stunning fountain and the lively atmosphere. Sitting at a cafe, sipping espresso, and watching artists at work felt like stepping back in time. The square's charm is irresistible, making it one of my favorite spots in Rome.

If you visit the Colosseum, you must visit Palatine hill as it’s right across the way. Beautiful and well preserved Roman ruins with plenty of scenic viewpoints to take pictures of the city. You don’t need a tour guide as there are plenty of signs explaining the history behind some of the buildings.

I had visited this as part of guided tour with Colosseum and Roman forum. Palatine Hill has the old palace ruins of emperor Augustus. The hill also has a great view of the Roman forum

I mainly came for the amazing views of the Roman Forum from here. It is a bit of a walk from the Roman Forum considering the heat and the crowd to battle with. The path up is not exactly stroller or wheelchair friendly but can be done, just not the easiest terrain. There are other sites to see as well, other than the viewpoint.

This was part of our ticket that in included the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. After visiting the Colosseum we made our way following the signs to Palatine Hill. There are a few routes you can follow, one of which leads to the Forum, we decided to follow the route toward and up the Hill. It's quite steep, so be warned, it was also very warm. There are many routes once you get up the hill and many historic sites as well. We ultimately made our way up to a viewing area right at the top that looked over the Forum, with spectacular views of the Colosseum and panoramic views of a lot of Rome's many splendid and historic buildings and monuments. It certainly was the highlight of the Hill and made the effort the more worthwhile. If your able we would thoroughly recommend. There were many walking through the Forum, but it was so hot and the view so good that we felt we didn't need to walk through as we could see virtually everything from where we were. Also we had walked around the outside of the Forum the previous day, and subsequent days after. But great experience.

You can visit the ruins at Palatine Hill after your trip to the Colosseum. A good glimpse into the history of room with ancient buildings, statues and gardens. You can also take a guided tour that includes the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.

We visited the site on a weekend in February and the area was reasonably quiet with just a small queue. One thing that soon became apparent was that a map would be useful! It is obviously a huge area but it isn't a set route that you just shuffle along with everyone else, there are plenty of junctions and side routes to take. We were there just over three hours and I'm not sure if we saw everything or even the highlights. There are lots of information boards around which help explain the various ruins. I wish we'd gone into the museum itself but we weren't aware just how long it would take so we skipped it. At one of the entrances/exits we did find a small cafe just inside the site so it was nice to sit and have a coffee. If there had been one by the rose garden that would have been a lovely spot to take a break from sightseeing. There are obviously lots of buildings inside the site, in various states of ruin. The potential magnificence can be imagined but what is left is no longer marble but mostly brick - we saw no frescoes or mosaics or carvings so it really could have been a building site almost, it's just the imagination that keeps it as something amazing.

View is breathtaking, you can take a 1-2 hours to stroll through the ancient ruins. It's recommended to go with a tour as it can be quite difficult to understand the history/ stories behind the ruins without a guide.

The colosseum is cool, but our visit to Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum was the real highlight of our day. This is a beautiful historical area with a ton to discover along it's paths! Highly recommend spending a day here when the weather is nice.

Five stars for the superb service. Four stars for the food. It was very busy place and most of the customers are tourists I found. Not many options for seafood pasta. The noodles are rarely tasted, so my friend and I were not really a fan of it. We had a mussels pasta, but lack of seafood taste. However we were impressed by the waiters, they have passionate about their work!

We are visiting Rome for only 2 days, and everyone recommends trying food in this area. We chose this place based on Google reviews and we are not disappointed. First off, we were lucky somehow that we got there at the right time (not sure when the right time is, we got there at 6:15pm on a Monday) and didn’t have to wait in line. When we left, there were 2 huge lines, each is a block long, waiting to be seated. We sat outdoors, watching people walking by is interesting. Second, our waitress was very friendly and attentive; she looked out for our best interest. She stopped my partner from ordering too much (since he likes to try different things). Next, the food was good. We ordered caprese salad, mussels, pasta with meatball, roasted lamb with potatoes. There were no surprises from the first 3 dishes but I gotta say we had had better. The last dish - roasted lamb is questionable. The meat is a bit dry, tasted a bit too salty, and there’s still a strong smell, we didn’t like it much. Overall it was a good experience. We haven’t tried other places in this area to compare, so we’re not sure if waiting in line for an hour or even more is worth it. We just didn’t have to wait, that’s all.

The food was amazing and great! Authentic Italian food. We ordered various pasta - carbonara, pesto, and so much more. Alvin, our server was amazing, accommodating attentive, and the best! He made sure we are truly welcomed at the establishment. There was a bit of a wait in line because there is 7 of us. Pasta prices ranges from €10-20. Affordable! Highly recommended

Absolutely amazing experience. Sat on the street and had an amazing meal in Rome. Servers were friendly, funny, and helpful. Food was absolutely amazing. Cooked with pride and also served in interesting ways. Recommend the carbonara and the fried turkey. Also the calamari was perfect!

You must go here! What a fantastic place to eat! Came across when exploring in Rome and have been twice since. It's very affordable and in a great location. Incredible food - best I've had in Italy so far and really recommend for those who are vegetarian as they have some great dishes to pick from. Very accommodating and friendly staff. I went as a solo traveller the first time and they made me feel very welcome and checked in on me regularly. Went again last night and it was much busier than before but the queue was well managed and we were served quickly. For best experience I recommend going earlier in the day!

We've been in Rome for a few days, and this is one of the best restaurants we've ever visited. I would recommend it to anyone. Food was in sizable portions and of local flavour. Their house wine was particularly good. Price was on the low side, when compared to other restaurants we've been to. Waiters were friendly especially Walid who served us.

Yes the hype is correct. They served the best carbonara I have ever tasted. Most of the times it's a very salty pasta. But these folks did it well. Every did extremely well done. Good quantity too. If you are not super eater you can share a pasta easy. Again please go and wait in line. It's worth it.

This restaurant is a must if in Rome! The meatballs with cheese and pepper is a marvelous creation of taste! The price for what you get is amazing! The vibe, the atmosphere the service! You just cannot complain about a single bit! A very busy place, we did wait for 15/20 to get seated and that’s on the lower end of the average wait! Nonetheless, worth every minute! Strongly recommended!

Incredible restaurant, but make sure to arrive early! Service extremely fast and very nice, excellent food and nice place to eat outside. I think I've tried the best pesto pasta of my whole life! I will definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to everyone coming to Roma 🙏

Surprisingly, the best thing we ate were the potatoes. They were very savory. The next best were the mussels. There was a generous portion, and the flavor was decent. The artichokes were impossible to chew through and very salty. The meatballs were okay. Service was okay, had to ask a few times for water, which ended up coming after the food. Staff hygiene could be better.

This place is always packed. Good food, decent price, outstanding service. Don't be afraid of the line, it moves fast, once you are seated they don't rush you. The service is great. Calamari are served with lemon only, no sauce. Pasta was good but a little cold. Portion is huge. They where worried that I did not finished it. It's famous, it delivers.

The service here was as impeccable as it’s reviews suggest with food that was equally on par. We appreciate the details including offering to store our stroller and bring it out when our meal was complete even without us asking. They were very friendly and we enjoyed every moment.

The restaurant was a pleasant surprise. After a few trips to Rome, I can say that it is one of the best in the area. The prices are very good, and the portion of food surprisingly big. We bought pizza, which also delighted the pretentious mouths. We also took beer and coffee, which were served quickly and according to standards. Grazie Riccardo!!! It's worth it.

Great food and service! The lasagna and caprese were so good! The servers were very friendly and we enjoyed sitting outside next to the heaters listening to some music. Would highly recommend.

The food was exceptional and nicely priced compared to many other restaurants in Rome. We are from the US and our Italian was minimal but the staff was welcoming and friendly. The food came quickly and the neighborhood came alive around 6:45pm so it was fun to be seated by the window. Our server was so kind and even offered us small samples of a liquor he said was made specifically in Rome- which you can’t get anywhere else- it was delicious and such a kind gesture that left such a great impression. The only qualm is that the inside of the restaurant was so hot even with the aircon seemingly on- it made it a bit difficult to enjoy the hot food while being overheated ourself. This may be just common for the time of year/ area though

Very touristy here but still impressive. It’s located in a seriously busy area aimed at tourists. This restaurant and several others nearby had sizeable lines of people waiting to get in. We waited for maybe five minutes only luckily before we got an outside table. We started with an Aperol Spritz which to my surprise was one of the best we’ve had in a three and half week visit here in Italy. No skimping on essential ingredients here. This drink is a beauty and it’s skillfully made. We had three dishes. The mixed bruschetta to share and a salmon and a tuna salad for each of us. The bruschetta was largish and very tasty. There’s nothing fine or fancy about it. It’s just good food. Same with the salads. They’ve quite large and very competently made. Plenty of salmon, plenty of tuna, plenty salad ingredients. There’s nothing fancy or innovative about them, but we enjoyed them regardless. The staff are very active here. This is a seriously busy business and they were all well on the ball during our stay. This is a good competent tourist oriented restaurant. It won’t win any culinary awards but it’s a good safe choice for dinner based on our experience.

Was one of the warmest places in Rome! The service was great - waiter explained us some details of the Italian food traditions. The portion of food was so huge that we couldn't finish it, and this pasta taste will back to me in dreams. In the end, we've got a free digestifs. Recommend this place if you want to eat tasty food in a good atmosphere. 2 pastas and 2 aperoles costs 38 euro - good price for the Rome.

The first restaurant we ate at in Rome and it was a bit underwhelming! The fried artichoke was good, must say! But the pasta was not impressive. I had the Cacio Pepe and it was overtly salty. I liked the tiramisu as well. I’m not sure it was authentic but nice nonetheless. It was also expensive for what it’s worth.

The restaurant is very famous on a busy street so expect some waiting time to get a table during peak hours. After reading a lot of positive reviews and various blogs about this place online, we visited this place. The ravioli was marked as the best in town by the reviews that I read and made me excited to try it! Well the food was average nothing super special as claimed We ordered 2 pastas and drinks which were good. Nothing worth the hype. But at the same time this place has a authentic Italian vibe with was a plus.

Had a wonderful experience here our first day in Rome! The food was exceptionally fresh and flavorful. Our server Andrea provided us with very helpful suggestions on our meal and told us about Cedrata a very refreshing drink. He was so very kind and friendly and was checking in on us through our visit so we felt very well taken care of. Definitely will be coming back.

This was a great place to go and have a delicious meal. Everything was beyond good. Even though we did have to wait a little for a table they took great care of us in line and even provided snacks and refreshments. The food itself was fantastic in every way. The staff was kind and personable. I would definitely recommend.

Superb tomato sauce pasta. We came at around 12 and were able to sit in right away. The waitress was very attentive and the food was served warm and very quickly. We absolutely loved both the Meatball pasta and the Ravioli. The tomato sauce was definitely my favorite part. It was rather strong in taste, extremely flavorful and rich, unlike in other places where it is more subtle. The meatballs had a nice shape. They were tender and well-seasoned. I have to mention the Ravioli dish because it is probably the best ravioli I have ever had. The spinach-ricotta filling just melted in my mouth. Prices are reasonable in the area and there is a 10% service charge.

I had looked up this place previously and the photos didn't do it justice. Gian was fabulous and attentive to all of his tables and the staff were all incredible. The food was everything I hoped for and I left feeling like I was going to burst. Portion size for the pasta was perfect. Came into this place with moderate expectations but was vet pleasantly surprised. I had been scoping around for good calamari in restaurants around the Piazza Navona and had been disappointed until we had the calamari at Cantina e Cucina. The ricotta stuffed ravioli and the meatballs with spaghetti were also excellent! Great service, neither slow nor rushed. Very pleasant surprise and only 30 feet away from. Out AirBnB!

We ate here based on all the good reviews. Fried artichoke was ok - like a bunch of potato chips. Pizza was a bit on the soggy side though flavourful. The mushrooms on the pizza were tasty and plentiful. Ravioli with spinach and ricotta was tasty but not amazing. Wine selection was okay. Overall the dinner was fine. A bit pricier than comparable type places in the area.

We came here for dinner on a Wednesday and were surprised to see a line outside - it’s clearly a popular spot. Our experience was very good, but not 5-star worthy, especially given the other options in the area. The pasta was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The lamb was a bit over cooked and overly oily. The potatoes were especially oily and not well seasoned. The service was super friendly and inviting, they really made it a wonderful dinner. If you’re looking for a place to go, this is a nice spot, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to try it.

Got here around 7pm and waited about 20 minutes for a seat. The line got very long after 7:30. Traditional Roman food. It was perhaps the best dinner in Rome and very impressive. We enjoyed everything we tried and the price was very reasonable. I think the meatballs may have been one of the best I’ve eaten.

Everything about this place was perfect. The meatballs in oxtail sauce are the best I’ve ever had. Carbonara was beautiful, lasagna great. The manager Roland is also a fantastic host. We came back a week and a half later to end our trip we loved it so much. Can’t wait to come back

After we were seated, we waited 30 minutes for the menu. We got a pasta that was cold! The water we ordered was still, although we ordered sparkling, after the waiter took it to bring sparkling, he brought it after we finished eating. Terrible service and the food was nothing special. Not worth it.

This is a great place for a lunch or brunch . We had the roman artichoke which was spectacular. I recommend ordering especially if you haven't had it. The salmon was delicious and the roasted potatoes with it were superb. I had the mushroom pinse. Too much cheese. I recommend it if you ask for go light on the cheese (unless you really like cheese). Loved the atmosphere outside. Would not recommend inside . The BATHROOMS ARE NOT ACCESSIBLE for wheelchair and once inside you would not like it anyway-no seats on the toilets, dirty. So don't expect to use restroom here if any of that is a problem for you.

Best dinner we had in Roma! All of their dishes are amazing as well as the service quality. Even though they are crazy busy all the workers are still smiling and caring about you having a good time and enjoying your food. There is a big line if you go for the dinner but don’t give up and wait it doesn’t take crazy long and it does worth it %10000! I highly recommend their meatballs it was very different and tasteful but of course there must be a pasta on the table otherwise you will be missing out too much. They do not charge for the service per person so thats also a plus. Don’t forget to enjoy a great tiramisu at the end!

A tourist-friendly place with authentic roman flavor. Perfect to dine with friends after a long walk (because Rome is about long walks. If you came and did not beat your activity app average, you did it wrong). Not for people who enjoy quiet and relaxing dining experiences, especially during summer weekends. Sundays will be especially crowded. The last time I visited, I had the meatballs in ox tail souse and the fried artichokes. Both were amazing. The house wine (red) was light, fresh, and fruity; it was heavenly at first sip, but once I tasted the artichoke, the flavor evolved, and by all that is Good and Pure, I think I “saw” the music and “smelled” the colors because the taste went 4D after that. I also ordered a bottle of house water with gas because, of course, after the long walk, poor hydration can ruin the flavor of your food. Pro tip: save the pizza for a second visit (it is very, very good, but the food is just put out of this world.

Cozy place. We had to queue for about 20 minutes which is okay for a popular place. The man that signed/waiter us up for the queue was incredibly rude and snorted at the answer when he asked about our origin, and just kept asking where are you really from. However there was another waiter that gave us a nice table and another that took our orders and was super attentive. Food was good, not the best in Rome, but well cooked. Worth a visit but I recommend you booking a table in advance so that you don't have the experience we had... Prices were good, we ordered 3 pastas and 1 pizza for 3 people for about 52-60€, and there was plenty of food left that we took home with us!

This is a tough one. This is definitely a place for tourists. The waitress (which was super friendly) was not even Italian, the portions are HUGE (which is not an Italian thing) and not very tasty. If you are not looking for an all out Italian experience, this will do. But if you want to eat traditional dishes in the best way possible, this is not the place, and does not worth the wait outside

The food here is fantastic. Plenty of locals as well as tourists dine here. We were served by Andrea who was great! He always had a big smile. We had a variety of pasta and the portions were big. The tiramisu was also great. Would recommend you visit here at least once. They don't take bookings here so be prepared to queue.

On our final day in Rome, we made a wise decision to dine at Otello based on its outstanding reviews on Google. And we were not disappointed. She not only guided me in selecting the perfect dishes but also ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. We absolutely adored the place, and if the opportunity presents itself for us to return to Rome, visiting Otello will be at the top of our list.

An excellent choice when you’re visite Rome. My girl and I decided to give it a shot on our last day here in Rome. We glad we did. The service was on spot. We tried the pasta carbonara and the roast lamb . Both of them were marvellous. Pasta was juicy and the lamb was tender. They both were really tasty and well proportioned. Fried artichoke was tasty as well. Looking forward to visit again next time we’re in Rome.

We loved Otello. Staff is incredibly friendly and the food is out of this world delicious. The home made ravioli is the best we’ve had. The fried artichoke was new for us and also tasted very good. Tiramisu was amazing. Went back two days later because we loved it so much. No reservations possible but service is very quick.

I never had better pizza. It was delicious. We loved this place and ambiance and welcoming service. Inside decor was magnificent. We returned next day for more food. I highly recommend to experience it and you should be not disappointed. Next time we are in Rome and this is a must to visit when hungry.

The aroma upon entering the restaurant was irresistible. The extensive amount of google reviews had us walk in, but once we were in, the reviews did not do it justice.
