10€ for a combined ticket including 4 different attractions. This one was not the best of them. The outside was beautiful and there was a lovely looking sculpture garden but you couldn't go in it. The inside was quite simple and the main feature in every room was the mosaic tiles which were all described down to the last morsel. However, there was very little else to see and the information linked to this was often written at the end rather than the beginning. The room with the knights clothing was by far the best one. You will need to walk up steep steps, so it is not suitable for disabled people.

The views from outside were more enjoyable than the actual experience. I enjoyed the plaques that explained more about the history. If you're a historian and enjoy these type of things, it may be worth paying the 8 euros to enter. I'm a seasoned traveler and would have preferred to spend those 8 euros on something else. The outside of this place is definitely the highlight (and free). If you are on a budget, you can definitely skip this exhibit. If you've got the time to kill and don't know what else to do, this is a decent option. They have bathrooms at the entrance which were decently maintained

Some interesting art in the main museum but most of the original statues were damaged by earthquakes. The outdoor garden is peaceful and has a few impressive frescoes. There is a small museum in the back with a few excellent pieces, some going back almost 8,000 years. Most of the castle is a reconstruction in the last century. The staff is very knowledgeable and can offer some historical insight.

Nice place! We went only to the Palace and had a look around. For that the entrance price might be a little too much, but you v Cam easily get a combo ticket with other museums to make it worth your while. I really liked their collection of mosaics.

Definitely grand and beautiful inside. There was no line and easy to get in. Rooms were exquisitely decorated for their time of Era. After the tour, we a walk down the cobble street that led to a square with local vendor souvenir shops and restaurants. A must visit in Rhodes, Greece!

The Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes is a testament to the power and prestige of the Knights of Rhodes. It also sounds pretty cool. Stepping foot inside this magnificent fortress, you can't help but be overwhelmed by its architectural splendor and rich historical significance. A must-see for any history enthusiast (my son--- the history and archaelogy major) seeking to immerse themselves in the captivating world of medieval knights. The entrance was 10 Euros. It felt steep but you will spend at least 1.5 hours exploring the huge case and its grounds.

Very much worth the visit and ticket price (8 euro) if you are the least historical or architecture interested. The castle is quite large with lots of interesting places and rooms to visit, with impressing interior and old mosaics, paintings and so on. Very well preserved. I spent around 2 hours during the visit. Only downside is the missing signs with descriptions about the different rooms, it could be nice to read a little about the purpose of the different rooms and structures.

It was OK for 8 eur, though there are plenty of beauties for free or much cheaper. Mosaic floors are not renovated, rooms are hardly decorated or equipped. The most impressive it is from outside. Slight disappointment for us, Rhodes provides much more great sights, even for free... EU vaccination certificate was throughly checked.

I’m not sure what is not to like about the palace which the combined ticket only costs €10 and you can visit the archaeological museum & other attractions with the same ticket… Lots of mosaics exhibited in the palace and lots of rooms, hallways.. I found it very enjoyable to walk around, although there’s not much texts about the history itself, only about the mosaics. Definitely worth a visit just to have a stroll. It’s a nice palace building on its own.

Great experience. Just direction signs or a small map on the ticket is missing. Than my mark shall reach maximum of 5 stars. Otherwise very well maintained, with interesting exhibitions. Recommend visiting.

We bought a combo ticket 10€, the child is free, the price includes visiting 4 places. In the Palace of the Grand Master on the ground floor there is an exhibition of antiquity, many exhibits, it is interesting to look at and read the names, as well as find out what period of time they belong to. On the second floor, the atmosphere of a real knight's castle. Unfortunately, there is little information in the museum itself about the life of this period, so it would be good to search and get acquainted with information on the Internet in advance. We spent almost 2 hours, but for my teenage child, unfortunately, it was not so interesting as it was for me.

Beautiful, well preserved building. My husband and I visited on a Sunday, payment in was 8 euros each. Nice and cool inside, great relief from the heat of Rhodes. Definitely worth the visit, could easily spend 1.5. Hours here. Didn't appear to be guided tours/ maps/ information leaflets when we visited. Would suggest you bring your own booklet/ read information about the palace before you visit, so that you know about it.

Well worth it as especially since you get 4 different places for 10€! The garden area was lovely, all those arches too in the main courtyard. There are a lot of steps with no hand rails, so if that's a problem for you- I would give it a miss. I could have spent a lot of time here, just sitting taking it all in. If you are interested in historical pottery, then this is the place for you too! It had a really nice feel to it this place, I could go again and again just to take it all in. Although one can only look at so much pottery..

Only €6 to enter or you can get a premium ticket for €10 that gets you into 3 other places including the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights. There was a lot of burial urns, statues and grave markers, a garden with fish in a pond, I saw some lizards, and there is a cafe inside. Some of the items in the museum came from the Acropolis in Lindos so that was cool to see after visiting the acropolis.

This museum is in the heart of the Rhodes' Medieval City. We were passing by during the weekend and despite the €6 entrance price, we could enter free (together with many others). It was really nice to visit and learn a lot more in the history and culture. From Wikipedia: The museum is housed in the monumental edifice that was the hospital of the Knights of Saint John. Construction was begun in 1440 and brought to completion in the time of the Grand Master d'Aubusson (1476-1503). The Museum contains various collections of archaeological artifacts from various parts of Rhodes and the neighbouring islands, including the Statue of the Crouching Aphrodite (1st century BC)

Great museum which wraps around the whole central courtyard which then heads out to the open roof area and then leads on the the gardened area which is easy to miss as it's up the steps when you go outside to see the statues outside on the roof. Well worth the 6euro entrance fee and it is even cheaper with a combi ticket for the palace

We bought a combination ticket that included this and Palace and two small museums for €10 Euros. This ticket and the museums are worth the €10 Euros. I do recommend seeing this museum, at first it doesn't seem like are seeing much. Continue on and also up the stairs to next level and there are lots of rooms on both levels and then into beautiful gardens.

The collection contains quite a few remarkable pieces, but their guidance of visitors could be a lot better, as particularly the initial rooms seem rather boring. It does get better in the garden later.

You will find some of the exhibits in the open air, and some on the second floor, located in many small rooms. Also there is the crypt with the tomb stones of the dead knights. If you enjoy looking at small antiques and reading their labels, you'll love it. My teenage child was not very interested. We were in July and used combo tickets. 10€ with other places, child was free

We enjoyed walking around the various museums, churches, exhibits & palace of the grand master. Beautiful architecture & art. Definitely a must-see when in Rhodes!

This museum was a pleasure to go to and explore! The building itself is quite large and has plenty of rooms to explore and read a lot of history about Rhodes and past events! This museum also has a good ratio of interior and exterior sites to view. Would definitely recommend a visit to the museum Only downside was the many rooms used only to display pottery, which could have been used for other items for more variation instead! Side note: Make sure to visit on the weekend, as the museum closes early at 3pm on weekdays, and 8pm on weekends!

Worth the visit if you want to see / learn more of Rhodos history and you want to take a break from the beach. Had a few interesting pieces, but the building itself is also worth to see.

Nice gardens there and quite a few ancient artefacts to view. It has lots of small rooms full of artefacts but they were too hot to stand in during our visit. It's a shame that lots of the things to see don't have any explanation as to what they are or where they are from. For around 6 euro it's an OK place to pass an hour.

Not a great collection, and sadly a real lack of any real context to what the pieces mean, and what they teach us about historic Rhodes. A 3-4 scattered panels give you a real quick deep dive into Rhodes’ history, but most of the written text is describing the appearance of the object which you can already see, in clumsy English. I’m a museum fan and I was very bored, you should skip the entire top floor if you’ve ever seen a Greek pot or vase before and take the stairs up next to the toilets to see the open air mosaics and amazing garden. Some crusader gravestones and Greek statues are in the large upper room next to this garden, fairly interesting, with a restored home in the garden, which again has sparse information or access. A clear lack of investment is sadly obvious here.

«A must see in Rhodes Old Town» you say? The Medieval City is on UNESCOs world heritage list, but the only thing you’ll see that could remind you of a medieval, historic attraction are the walls from the outside. When you walk through one of the many gates/entrances, you’ll see booth after booth, with the same jewellery, cups and refrigerator magnets everywhere, and there is no end to them. Sightworthy artifacts, such as the ‘Kastello’ (The Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes) and the ‘Roloi’ (The Medieval Clock Tower) get lost in a sea of tourist shops and ants (both people and actual ants). I know this would be worth spending a whole day exploring, if only the beatiful architecture was not covered up with «sale»-signs and parasolls from the shops, which (by the way) are a whole lot more expensive than other shops around the city. We went to a smoothie shop at some point, and ordered a Fanta and a strawberry smoothie. Both were served in gigantic bowls of maybe 2L, filled to the top with ice-cubes. Cost? 25€ Lesson learned: Always ask for the prices before you order, if the menu doesn’t say. I am sorry, absolutely not worth the visit..

Really beautiful place, so underrated and has some of the most amazing beauty across Europe.

Beautiful scenery in the evening. You can take your time to walk through the streets without running into the tour groups in the morning.

The acropolis was unfortunately under renovation so we couldn’t properly see and enjoy it. However the ancient theater and stadium were interesting and beautiful to see. It was fun to see many locals still using the old stadium to power walk and jog.

Amazing place. Free entry (although there are kiosks being built at the entrances suggesting they might start charging at some point in the near future) and a huge area to wander round. The Acropolis remains were covered in scaffolding when we were there but the stadium and (partially restored) theatre are incredibly intact for being so old. It's quite something to walk into the stadium imagining it packed with ancient Greeks watching chariot racing. Must-see.

In my eyes, nothing spectacular needs renovation. The environment is not very tidy. If you’re in a hurry, feel free to skip this place unless you’re a history lover.

If you are a person passionate about the ancient history of Greece, then you definitely must visit this place. If not, you can skip it, especially since there are so many other interesting places nearby. The ruins are exactly what the name suggests - just some ruins. There is not much to see - a few stairs, the old stadium, a poorly restored theater, and three columns from the Apollo's temple, but unfortunately, the columns are under renovation (and they may have been in this state for many years). As positive point: the entrance is free, there is a room where you can read a lot of information about the sports events in ancient Rhodes and, in addition, right at the exit from the acropolis there is a spectacular seafront boardwalk where you can take some incredible photos.

Very exciting to visit such an historic place. Even the kids got into the feeling of the old Olympics in the theater. Also just a minute away great view of the coastline!

The site is on the outskirts of town and wasn't what you'd call "Tourist Friendly" when we went. That is no shops for drinks or memorabilia so take water with you. Once there the site of the stadium is open and you can rest in the shade after the hill climb if you've walked up. Then on to what's left of the Acropolis. It was under renovation as you can see in the pictures but the view over the town was a site to see. It also helped with later trips to the exhibitions in the town ad it helped contextually to link exhibits.

Great site lots the see.the main temple is sadly obscured by scaffolding at the moment but at least they are making attempts to preserve it. Still worth seeing though.The stadium, and theatre are right next to it and are fully accessible.

Smaller than I was expecting, and it was a shame that there was scaffolding on the columns when I visited. But it's really refreshing to have an ancient monument you can just walk into with no visitor centre or gift shop, and to see it so beautifully preserved even though there is no security. In other circumstances you might expect graffiti and/or litter. But when I visited, it was immaculate. The place is very evocative and made me want to read up on it by myself.

Little piece of history, a lot of ancient buildings and ruins and of course the Stadium coliseum just below. It’s a long walk up the hill and a long walk back. Not much public transport if any dir this, however the hop on hop off bus does stop here hourly. Taxis are available but you would have to call them to come get you as they don't station themselves here, no shops, no toilets, no restaurants, the area is very de-commercialised

I enjoyed it! It was very interesting and there were a lot of things to look at. It is a lot of walking for younger kids so I wouldn't recommend visiting with young children. It is an interesting place but you would not be spending more than an hour or so there.

This is a free attraction. You can either park at the bottom or the top, which means you do not have to walk too far in the hot sun. Worth a visit if you are in the area it not nearby as good as the Lindos Acropolis

Extremely calm area in the middle of the city…. You have to climb a bit for it a bit, but it’s completely worth the walk. Beautiful old theatre, many olive trees… Here you will get the feeling you are in a silent, decent village in stead of a larger city…

Climb to the top for €5 and you get a drink at the bar for free, well worth it and a must see if visiting Rhodes. It's a rickety old, narrow wooden staircase inside and once you get to the room at the top you can experience the cross winds blowing through the open windows at each side of the building.

Euro 5 per adult, free for children. You get a free drink for the adults, but you pay (Euro 2) for a drink for a child . But worth it. Great views over the city from the top of the clock tower. Sure it's the same couple running this as it was about 10 years ago when we last visited. Very clean and calming. No rush from anyone. Be aware though - steep(ish) wooden stairs up the inside of the clock tower. Would revisit again in the future.

Although it is cheap to enter 5 euros you also get a free drink in the cafe below be careful as it is a steep climb up the stairs inside and you do meet people coming the other way and there is little to no room to pass so you will have to wait. When you get to the top if you are tall then mind you head as there is some low iron work. Once at the top the views are great and 360.

The tower is next to the Grand Masters Palace and Suleyman Mosque . The entrance fee is 5 euro (a drink is included ) . Visited in early aug 2021 , around noon , so not many people around . You can have a good view of the old town from this tower but its not that high (so not much climbing) . IT is worth a visit .The visit will take less then 30 min , if you dont take a break at the bar .

The price of entering was 5€ but with that you also get a free drink from their cafe (there is no execption you can get anything with the free drink ticket including alcohol) The clock tower has 4 floors the top floor is pretty crowded and small there is no balcony at the top floor, just a open window that you can take pics from. I find the price reasonable for the things you get. If you are at the area I reccomend checking out.

I am very disappointed when I reach to the top. Because you could not see the view in open space. The stairs are too dangerous if you need to be when climbing. You can take photos of the view. The only favourable thing is free drink for each entry ticket.

I ordered Greek salad, shrimp and lamb with potatoes. Shrimp in tomato sauce was amazing. The shrimps were big and hearty, and the tomato was cooked just right. The lamb was cooked very well. Greek salad was fresh. At the end of the meal they served ice cream and liqueur with gummy. Both were beautiful. Staff and owner were very friendly and interested. If you go to Rhodes, you should definitely eat at Tamam Restaurant.

The best restaurant in Rhodes so far! I’ve been there already several times and definitely will come back soon. The food is always amazing with outstanding quality of meat and seafood.

A hidden gem that is worth visiting. We found that place from online reviews and I can say that overall this is the best restaurant we have been to in Rhodes. Best service, very nice and unique food in good prices, interesting cocktails and amazing flavors . Mr Andreas owner was very polite and helpful. The staff was willing to serve us and smiley. Also they treated us with several deserts at the end and that was a very pleasant surprise. No other restaurant did this. We had saganaki with sweet stafili, amazing... Lamp kotsi, very delicious you should try both. The only downside is that it's a small restaurant and too hot, i was sweating during eating a lot. But overall it was great and a must visit for sure. I will definitely visit again 😁 Be warned that it is always busy and you might wait for a few minutes to be seated.

If you are in Rhodes this restaurant is the one place you must dine in. The food is impeccable and each dish is uniquely divine. Large servings and fresh ingredients. I rarely write a review but this place merits all the 5 stars. If you find there is a line to get in, get in line! It's well worth the quick wait - they are very efficient here in a non rushed manner. The wait staff are very kind and the owner is an absolute delight. I came here multiple nights in what was a short trip to Rhodes. I couldn't wait to eat the first night and as such some photos don't show the originally presented product. I highly recommend any seafood dish, as well as the feta wrapped in eggplant. At the end of your meal you'll receive two treats, just another example of how this place goes above and beyond. Eating in Rhodes can be complicated because of the number of Tourists trap restaurants and mediocre meals, as such this restaurant is worth the visit in many ways. Each party upon leaving says goodbye to the owner and comments on how good their meal was, not many places can do this. Any negative review comes from someone who is better off cooking their own food and staying at home. Please for your own good and for an excellent culinary experience visit Tamam!

Went there for a nice dinner and they didn't dissapoint us. There was a small problem with one of the main courses but they immediately resolved it. Starters were especially delicious, the wine selection is great and we were treated like friends. Definitely would come back again!

SUPER! The staff is deeply accurate. I'm lactose intolerant, and they were very careful. I ordered shrimps with pineapple and peppers to share with my boyfriend, and then I ordered king prawns with rice while my boyfriend ate the lamb stew. Everything was perfect, delicious, tasty. The restaurant offers vanilla ice cream, but since I can't eat any dairy, they brought me orange with honey and pistachio. Look at the pics and see that in the ladies' bathroom, there are very useful products! You can't book a table in advance, so you've to wait outside, but it’s worth it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Nice and cozy place. Excellent food and the best welcoming we have ever had. Staff is warm, professional and available. Food combines Greek tastes with fusion cuisine. We received a nice ice cream and a sweet liquor offered by the house. We recommend Tamam!!

The greatest and best restaurant from Rhodes City and the whole island! Definitely worth the waiting if you have to. We went here twice during our Holiday and both times, very good service. Each meal is very balanced and flavoured perfectly. They don't take reservations so just there at 7pm and you'll have a seat most likely.

Definitely not worth it! Outrageous prices for average taste. Waited 95 mins in the queue as the place does not take reservations (we totally get that it was our choice to wait). The place does not have air conditioning or ventilation, my guess is that it was design for frequent table turnover, and it was extremely hot although we got seated only around 10pm. When we wanted to order the starters first and main course a little bit later, the owner stated that “it is not Mc Donald’s”, which is obviously rude and pretty self-contradictory as he’s trying to serve as if it’s a fastfood restaurant. King Prawn was the worst: overcooked, very hard, basically soaked in parsley. Overall, it was our worst experience in Rhodes. Thank you but no thank you.

Tamam is an outstanding restaurant which harmonies Greek Cuisine with modern European kitchen. Andreas is a master for restaurant management. He knows how to treat his customers very well. The foods served are beyond the words. It is one of the reasons why we visited Rhodes once again after last year. Every single food we tried was simply amazing. But my favourite is absolutely “Old Bay Linguine” Sea food is incredible good and fresh. Portions are big enough. It might be a bit pricey for some budgets but price/value balance is very very good. Indeed, quality has a price to pay. Also, you will have complementary desert, mastika and even pita bread. It is a must try when you are in Rhodes.

Back in 2019, we used to come there almost everyday. This place used to be much better. Nowadays, service is really unfriendly. The employees act like club bouncers. Unfriendly service (especially the main lady at the entrance, very rude, arrogant and always acts like we do them a favor by spending our money there. Perhaps she needs to study a bit about customer service. If you have a bad mood, leave it home.) I was also told by a male employee that if we want to sit outside, we do so with our own risk as it might rain and they do not offer any cover or protection. Basically they will let you get wet, even though you might have spent 50 euros there. They don't care. Won't be visiting again. Moreover, the food is overrated and overpriced. There are tons of better places in Rhodes.

We stayed from August 18 - 21. The hotel`s location, the bar and internal design were the best. But most importantly, the employees working there are unique - the best of the best! From reception girls to breakfast guys, the lady in the bar and even room cleaning is way better than 5 star hotels. We feeled welcomed all the time. And that was completely a great experience! Looking forward to coming again :)

I want to say first that I’m a regular customer of this place I live on the island but I work in USA. When I’m at home I dine here 3 to 4 times per month, I have spent new year eves staying in their beautiful suites and I’ve never missed the chance to tell friends, family and colleagues how much my wife and I love the food and the service. Recently even our daughter has been part of the culinary experience that distinguishes Koykos from anywhere else on the island. I’ve reviewed the restaurant in the past with 5*. TODAY, March 15 we went there (my daughter is 10 months old) and asked to have a table inside (where we usually sit) surprisingly the ‘manager’ told us we couldn’t go in and we had to stay outside in the cold!!!! The heating mushrooms are not really effective with the weather being not over 10c. When a table cleared on the outside protected veranda, the same manager moved a party of 6 into it and preferred to leave us outside in the cold. I went to the toilette and could see plenty of free tables inside and when asked the manager she said they are reserved for suite only!!!! So how come for the last 6 years I could eat there!?!?!? Talking about reserved tables, I also noticed two tables inside the veranda with the ‘reserved’ sign which have not been used for the entire time!!!!! The staff seemed very very young and not professional like in the past consequently the service level wasn’t like we expected. With all the time invested in this beautiful place it is really DISAPPOINTING to see such unprofessional and superficial behavior from the little new floor manager whom seems too busy checking her hair style than taking care of a 7 year loyal guest. YOU REALLY NEED TO TRAIN YOUR STAFF TO BE WHERE YOU WERE MONTHS AGO!!!

Really disappointed. Probably some of the worst food I've ever eaten anywhere in Greece. Mine appeared to be an entire plate of cheese sauce. My partner didn't enjoy his either. We decided against desert in case it was also inedible. Two stars rather than one as the building is nice and the service was OK.

We generally tried seafood and we were very satisfied. All the food we ate was very tasty without exception. The ambiance of both the restaurant and the bar is worth seeing. The waiters were very kind and concerned.

Beautiful place to chill and enjoy good food and drinks. Coffee is very good, soft drinks too, but apple pie is amazing strongly recommend. Service is fast and staff are very kind and prices are reasonable. They also have rooms available.

The food is good. But we were waiting it for about an hour, though the dishes were not that complex. Also we had the impression that the attitude to foreigners is worse than for locals. And on top of it, when we asked a waiter to pack the dish, he brought us the paper bag to do that ourselves. Not sure that I'd want to visit it again.

I don't know if they have rooms for sleeping but this is restaurant and bar. Food is really good but really expensive for the Rhodian price range. I got a lamb in wooden oven and my friend took flank steak. We ate also nice salad. The salad was the best. Food was ok, but really expensive. Haven't eat here in long time, and sadly it will take a long time to go again. With these prices, it was not worth of my money. Staff where really nice and professional.

Absolutely amazing, by far the best place we ate at when we were in Rhodes. Service was fast and friendly, seated right away & checked up on regularly throughout the meal for drinks etc. The food was amazing, had the garlic bread to start, followed by the surf and turf. The steak was the best steak I’ve ever had, cooked to perfection. Cocktails were nice too, as well as the beer. Our waiter even threw in a free dessert for us! Location is perfect, cannot get any better. Look forward to coming back next time we’re in Rhodes!

Location was great. Prices are great. We were a little bit afraid of reviews about food poisoning, but as you can see on pictures decided to order really fishy dishes and didn’t regret. Everything was great, garden was great, 5 stars are not enough to rate the service. Also in the evening when we had our dinner they were paying attention to little girl which had birthday and we sang „happy birthday“ to her with whole garden. That was charming. Thank you so much for our dinner! ✨

Good food and friendly staff. We had the belief we should avoid those places that have someone outside trying to lure in guests, but then we read the reviews and decided to give it a try the next day. It was a great choice!

Amazing food, amazing staff, great location. They have a great variety of food and fast service. If you decide to head there for dinner, try to get to the restaurant at or before 7 PM, as there are lines waiting in front after that. The prices were average at the time we went there (June 2022). Most dishes are around 15 euros. Would highly recommend!

This place has amazing food! The best food of our trip so far. We ordered the mushroom appetizer, dip appetizer (suppose to be tzatziki and eggplant but was something else but really good), spaghetti carbonara, lamb chops, and goat. Service was great, very attentive. Would definitely go back and highly recommend for a wonderful dinner. Is located not too far from the entrance of the palace and prices were a few up from the menus on other reviews but still affordable!

Second visit this fortnight, it's too good to visit just once. 😁 Tonight we went for my wife's birthday and to start the staff are super friendly this place is a family run business of 50 years and you certainly feel that family vibe, they love children and made to feel welcome instantly lovely setting in the old town opposite the clock tower. The service is quick and the food wow simply amazing what a feast really good hearty meals. Food, service and atmosphere are off the scale. I 100% recommend mama Sofia if you're in Rhodes you gotta drop in 👍👍

The restaurant is beautiful and the personal is one of the most responsive and proactive from Rhodes. We enjoyed our table, the view and most of all the food. The owner comes and greets you at your table and also shows you the main seafood dishes. He overseas everything and takes pride and joy in his family business.

Some of the best food in Rhodes, hand down. Everything handmade, so fresh. We had gyros and seafood salad and everything was perfect. The cocktails and beer selection was great too. The team clearly take pride in their work - and they speak many languages!

Really nice food and lovely restaurant. Felt we were really rushed. Our main courses arrived literally 5 minutes after we ordered. I understand its busy tourist area but we like to have a nice meal and take our time. 40 minutes in and out for evening meal is rushed.

Our overall experience is positive. We were seated in the backyard which was very calm and pleasant. The food arrived very quickly and was relatively tasty. In terms of service I think there is room for improvement. Although a lot of staff was available they were not attentive and it was quite difficult to even collect our bill. It’s a tourist style restaurant so I would say that the prices are a bit higher than what you get in return as service.

We found this place on google and decided to come because of the great reviews it had. In the street you will find annoying bartenders trying to bring you to their restaurants but with this restaurant wasn’t the case. Their staff were lovely and with a smile. The views and restaurant rooftop are beautiful and you can see important city sightseeing from there. Their menu was great and accurate with examples of photos of the plates that they offer. The food was delicious and real Greek! Thank you so much! If we come back to Rhodes we will definitely come here again! 🌸😊❤️

On our first night in Rhodes, we decided to take a walk in the old city. Looking for a place to eat, we stumbled upon this pearl. We’ve been mesmerised right away by the outside look of it! Once inside things haven’t changed. We’ve been welcomed by warmly mannered stuff that made us feel welcomed right away and seated us on the roof/garden under a flower frame! Amazing.. The food was just as good!! Thanks for the lovely dining experience!

Really delicious food with a nice sea view. Fast service. We had the gyros plate and it was very delicious. The prices are very good. It was very relaxing because you can sit on the rooftop. Only disadvantage is that we can’t pay with card so only cash is possible.

Amazing place to eat and enjoy the view. Very worth a visit. Booked in advance to guarantee a decent table and was in a large group. There are alot of restaurants in the area that are competing to grab the tourists to dine. Some of the front of house can be very annoying. When I walked past at the beginning of the holiday the front of house just politely said good evening. There was no, come in and eat here type of sales tactic, which is why I went back and booked after looking at some of the reviews. When we arrived, we were greeted and showed to our seats on the roof top terrace. The terrace view is across the old town and beautiful on a clear night watching the sunset. The menu was is in several different languages and all the same prices as the locals. NOT a tourist trap. Some of the items on the menu has pictures which look exactly what is served. The food is not to disappoint, we had the sea food platter which came with jacket potatos. The mix grill is also massive and easily could be shared. Others in the group had Greek dishes which were amazing. We ordered a few litres of house wine to share and the Greek coffee was very nice.

Never been to rhodes before so while in the town we thought we have something to eat and there were so many to choose from. We went to la varanda because it was so pretty white washed pink flowers stunning. The owner who was outside was very polite and friendly but from when we were seated and received food was very disappointed. The service wasn't great left us with cutlery from starter to also use for main the presentation was awful food was cold. Was very much like a cattle market in take money then out none of the greek hospitality we are used to no personal touch they did offer 20% next time but there will never be a next time .

Great traditional Greek food in a beautiful setting. There was space available on the terrace when we arrived at 21:30. Service was excellent. Definitely recommended

The view is excellent, but we come to the restaurants to eat too) Prices are slightly overpriced but again this is a tourist center. After choosing a dish on the menu, not everything is available, which surprised. But we were offered another option, and it turned out to be very tasty. Service is of a high standard!

Awesome place! Both the service and the food are just great! Especially the grilled octopus and sardines! We went here three times during our stay and would definitely come back again!

Among the many restaurants in Rhodes Old Town we visited La Veranda by chance as the front of house wasn't at all pushy and it looked a nice place. We sat in the rooftop garden overlooking the town and port. It's a lovely peaceful location. Food wise we had a seafood salad and a Tuna Salad one lunchtime. Both were fantastic! The service was quick without feeling rushed and the prices are more than reasonable. Our second visit (wish we'd have visited more). I had the Hunters Lamb on recommendation, and can honestly say it ranks up there with the nicest food I've ever eaten! Obviously depending on taste, but I love trying traditional food when on holiday and the lamb was so tender. It's apparently cooked for around 12hrs! Definitely recommend the place. Family run and friendly.

Loved this roof top dining experience, beautiful setting, great service and amazing food. We all loved all out food. Such a great find.

The setting on the roof was lovely, could Fo with some nice Greek music The view on the one side is lovely of the busy street below. Definitely needs cooling water fans in the heat. Thankfully there was a breeze The food … the Greek salad and Lamb chops were EXCEPTIONAL!!!!!!!!!! Well done

We booked this lovely restaurant on a recommendation and weren’t disappointed! Tucked out the way of the crowds, Kerasma is just beautiful. The food was incredible quality and beautifully presented. The service was friendly, prompt and professional, and the ambience of the garden terrace was just perfect in the evening. We shared dips and breads, a chickpea fitter starter ( which was incredible) and I ate a lovely lamb and chickpea dish. The complimentary green apple sorbet between courses was a nice touch too!

Lovelyy atmosphere, delicious food, good music, attentive service. This place did not disappoint. The blonde waitress in particular (didnt get her name) was a delight. Fantastic restaurant

When visiting Rhodos Kerasma is a must. The best restaurant isn't always in the city center, Kerasma is located in the new marina area. Antonis is an magician bringing the greek flavors and food in new sofisticated forms that will never make you disappointed. The athomospere is always warm and welcoming and Nikitas will take good care of you in the restaurant. I warmly recommend an visit to the restaurant when visiting the island.

I can't even begin to describe how exquisite the food is here. Every single dish we had was delectable, and the service was outstanding. We would definitely come back again in a heartbeat!

The best restaurant in Rhodes. The service was very professional and kind. It was the first restaurant which had possibility to change kid diaper and extra toys for play. Big congratulations on the facility! The food was tasty, especially pork belly. Unfortunaly one dish (rouster) came cold which was a little bit sad, but mistakes can happen to even the best ones :) if it wouldnt be our last day of holidays when we discovered this restaurant though Trip Advisor then we would visit there more. Everybody should try to dine there! 🙂

Incredible modern Greek with impeccable service, tasty and fresh food executed perfectly in a relaxed setting. Slightly out of Rhodes town but a walk to the marina or a short cab drive away from the south of old town. Highly recommended.

Meal for two, wine, one beer, starters and main course each, €100, very, very worth it. Food, staff, surroundings etc were spot on. I would recommend booking, we didn't see anyone turned away, but those who booked mostly ate outside, those who didn't mostly were inside. Heavenly food

Gorgeous restaurant, amazing food, lovely atmosphere and really nice staff! Was expecting it to cost a lot for the experience but was pleasantly surprised with the bill! They even gave us a free dessert! Can't recommend more highly! 10/10
