The symbolic place at Punta del Este. We visited there at the begging of May in the morning around 8:40am. There was very few people, so it was easy to take a photo only with my family. Punta del Este was so much fun place.

Long beach and has lots of mirador stops as indicated on google maps. You can walk on the streets to view the nice buildings and apartments that have amazing gardins (flowers and trees). It feels like they are competing for the best gardin of flowers. The beach has lots of washrooms along the way. It was a nice walk from the road and I would enter the different beach entrances to see what they built as a malacon view or sometimes statues.

One of the top five beaches I've been to in the world, including the Croatian coast, Hawaiian coast, and western United States. It might not look it at first, but spend a day or afternoon here and watch the sunset, and I think you'll agree. Additionally, the neighboring beach town is great, with great cuisine beautiful coastal roads, and fun shops.

First of five Ralli museums (the others are in Chile, Israel - 2 and Spain.) Awesome collection of Dali works on display: it's hard to believe that the admission is free. You can also see beautiful tributes to Marc Chagall, Alphonse Mucha, Bruegel the Elder and others. Don't take a trip to the museum as a part of a tour as you might not have enough time. Plan to spend at least 2 hours there.

The Ralli museum was a real find! Open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., it is a place that without a doubt you have to visit during your day in Punta del Este. Surely there are multiple cheaper options in Punta del Este nearby the port. Not my advice, but try them and you'll understand why.

The place is pricy, however the food is over salted or under cooked. At the price point of this restaurant things have to be right. But they are only kind of ok. There is better - places that try to satisfy their customers!

It´s been years that I visit this restaurant either in Montevideo or Punta. The service and the meat are still very good. But at this time I had a terrible experience. We ordered 2 steaks, both medium. One of them came correct and the other well done, completely gray. I send back and the manager (maybe son of the owner as he was quite young) came back with the steak, saying that he tasted, there was nothing wrong and I should eat that one (same as he cut and tasted). We had an unnecessary discussion comparing the two steaks where the other was pink. He told me that that steak was a different cut and also got gray because of the time it took to send back and forth. I asked to cancel the steak and paid the rest of the bill to find another place to eat - and never go back. It´s sad to see how such a traditional restaurant is ruined by a single arrogant person.

Nice restaurant on the sea front. Staff is very attentive and friendly. We liked our fish (Bortola) with the Marea sauce. The salmon ceviche was very good too.

Absolutely gorgeous location unfortunately the fish was watery and not properly cooked (also no flavoring), servers forgot multiple orders and spilled Soja sauce on me. All things considered it was expensive for poor service and tasteless food.

There are two main things i utterly dislike and find it super tacky and low class for such an establishment that is trying to look classy. The first one is to have a cover charge, this is disgusting.
