Sargassum seaweed covers the beach sadly. Trucks come in and take it away every couple of days and inflatable buoys try to stop it from coming to the shore, however the water at the shore is a stained red instead of a beautiful turquoise blue. If you're looking for the turquoise blue waters of the Caribbean you'll need to go to Macao Beach which is mostly sheltered from the seaweed.

This is just a picture perfection beach !!! Sand is soft and white , water is clean and warm, and the sky is amazing. After the storm is full of seaweed but you can always find a clear spot. Great for walks ! The big minus to many people hustling around. Good luck with having a peaceful time alone.

Beautiful beach! But only when you pass all the hotels with fake palms (go to the right). I gave 5 stars but Dominicana has better beaches.

It’s a nice beach, sometimes sea weed sometimes over ran by tourists and hustling vendors. Last we went the water was very clear (no pictures) but extremely crowded. Drinks are good. But the beach over all has been exploited.

The beach is nice and the water is clear and blue. Some difficulty in getting here if not a resort client as it has many uniform employees people going around and questioning you We got in fairly easily however the access is restricted by barriers See photos attached

Loved the beach! They do their best to keep the seaweed to a minimum and there are plenty of lounge chairs for you. Would highly recommend the beach for your vacation needs. We loved it and felt safe with the security and the life guards. Can't wait to go back!

One of the hidden gems of Punta Cana Definitely worth a visit but few pointers ahead. It is inside a resort and you need to pay the ticket all the way on the entrance to the resort. It s a bit expensive 50 USD but still worth it. When we visited it was almost empty and we has the pleasure to enjoy the refreshing turqoise waters all by ourselves.

Dazzling and indigenous place no wonder they were happy. It feels magical! It's so beautiful even the roads. The natural subterranean water pools are amazing. The turtles and fishes comes to welcome you. Not sure if you can feed them, we didn't just in case but I guess you can ask at the reception. There are 3 lagoons in which you can bathe or swim and only at the last one, the big one (Guamá) you can jump from the side deck. This one also has 2 round floats because it's the deepest one. We loved it! You can see it for yourself in the pictures added. Just a couple reminders: You have to pay for entrance usually between US$50 and US$90 for private tours. Better if you make a reservation. And if you have friends or staying at one of the hotels around you can get in for free or paying US$15 each person. Can't forget your goggles, mosquito's repellent, sunblock and water shoes. Go as light as you can because you'll have to walk not much but at least 10 or 15 minutes. I upload a map photo of the whole place. They give you 3 hours to do it. You can choose the best way to go but I recommend you go 1 by 1 and then enjoy the last one. There's a way where you can get out of the reserve and go to a beautiful cove beach, the one in the photos below. The customer service given by Ángela was 👌🏾 And just be open to the embrace nature at it's best! Totally recommended!!!

Amazing place to get in touch with the nature and have a refreshing swim in one of the lakes, the water is super transparent and clean. Go early in the morning and you will find the place almost empty. Note: don't feed the animals you may find (fish and turtles)

I had the time of my life here. Free entry if staying within Punta Cana resort and club. Beautiful waters, plenty of space to explore, and the walking was all fairly flat, which was important as my grandparents do not walk well. Lots of turtles and fish, butterflies, birds, and one large iguana! My family and I spent over 3.5 hours swimming and exploring. Truly beautiful

Beautiful beach, but way too crowded for a weekday. I can only imagine a weekend. As long as you can overlook that, it truly is a beautiful beach with stunning views, soft golden sand, and water that always feels nice. Very low algae if any, and plenty to eat and drink on the strip-but prepare for USA prices. Everything here is overpriced on DR standards, so try to eat before/after. They have plenty of parking if you drive, but we chose to come as part of an excursion. Definitely a great time.

It is an absolutely gorgeous beach!! Only 30 minutes away from Punta Cana. I highly recommend visiting this beach. It's my favorite beach in La Altagracia province.

If you can get here, do it! Absolutely one of the most gorgeous beaches I have been to. Restaurant, bathrooms, the scenery, waves, water. Highly recommend. We came in as a stop on our jungle buggy excursion and we're covered in mud. Would love to come back just as a stand alone day trip.

All beaches in Dominican are public, so there is no cost to access this BEAUTIFUL beach! If you are staying at Ocean El Faro, I recommend taking a taxi trip to the beach. It costs $50 round trip. The waves are still large, however the beach is much better than the beach at Ocean El Faro. This beach now has a very special place in my heart.

This beach is FREE and really beautiful. Easy to park. The waves are strong so careful if you come with children. The water is clean. The sand could be better IF PEOPLE PICK UP THEIR OWN TRASH. Bring your own food and water, it is expensively expensive.

It’s a beautiful beach with no worries of seaweed. Very clean and a great place to relax. If you are staying at the hotels, there are security to make sure you have peace of mind and not bothered. If you choose to interact with the locals, there is a beach bar and restaurant. The horse ride along the shoreline was also a treat.

Super cool place. So many photo opportunities. LOTS of walking, with many elevation changes. Prepare to walk at least 13000 steps and about 50 floors worth. It wasn't very crowded. We didn't think any of the cave swims were very cold. Highly recommend if you are visiting DR.

A great full day excursion. Def recommend doing the buggies. Bring cash because they ask for tips everywhere. The lunch was surprisingly delicious. $15ish Lots of walking!

Spent a great day here with my 2 teenagers. Absolutely loads to do and see. We found it to be excellent value and loved the zip lines. Don't go just for the animals or you will be disappointed. This is very much an active day and if you debt want that then look elsewhere. There's lots of walking and a degree of climbing and hiking, if you want to do all the zip lines Some nice water based activities to cool off as well. Great place and if you're in Dominican Republic, worth a visit

This place was a lot of fun, but pretty expensive. For $169 USD we got tickets and buggy's. The park was wide open, not busy on the Tuesday we went, and we did almost every attraction. Some elevation and hiking required for a few of the attractions. The buggy's we're on a course with others in front of you so you could only go at others speed. It was kind of fun, but not as exciting as it sounded. Some great views and unique things all in one place though.

Really good fun. The zip lines were brill.... especially the ones into the water. Its quite a long day if your there from 9 til 5pm and if really hot and sunny you might struggle and want to leave earlier. You will really enjoy it though. Kids loved it ❤️

Great experience, many different attractions on offer. Good customer service. Language barriers exist for those with basic Spanish speaking skills. Only other downside is that the park is a big property and you have to walk to the different attractions; this can be very tiring. It would be a good idea to provide shuttle services to patrons.

Overall the experience was pretty great. They’ve changed a few things about this place, food is no longer included in the packages. If you visit I recommend wearing comfortable clothing and travel light. You’ll be doing a lot of walking and most of the activities involve water. The Zip lining was one of my favorite things but like i mentioned there’s a lot of walking involved.

Absolutely incredible! Worth every penny. 8 different zip lines. X2 cave swims, a waterfall, water zip lines and a bat cave. Don't look at the images as it will spoil it for you ☺️

Really amazing place! But definitely recommend for families with kids and adults I went with just my husband and I and we had a great time! Prices are pretty expensive though for food and drinks like most adventure parks.

I purchased the ticket long before I even got to Punta Cana. This was a spectacular excursion 💯🔥! The staff was very friendly. Swimming in the caves and in the waterfalls were amazing. El Rancito was so fun because they let you feed the animals and one of the handlers. Let me hold one of the baby goats. The zipline was so fun, dropping down into the water and they have several. Definitely make sure you have swim shoes with you . There are a lot of rocks in the caves and underwater. This is not a place you're going to want to be without them. There will be a lot of walking involved. Make sure you have sun block . You can rent a locker for $5. This was an amazing adventure that you will remember all of your life.

Take family trip in scape Park all park apparently takes 5.7 h to walk and jouning but reality different We been take from hotel at 7.40 we been in park around 10.00 morning .the park not large takes 10min zip lanes 10min to get salt cave .and another place about 20min food in coffee place of 6 little slice pizza cost 20dollars on water 3 plus vat . But if you take alcohol vat not exist . Park not suit kids under 5 not able zip Lane not able jump in water or used buggy because rounds had stone. Had couple penny's looks very tired and skinny . Had iguana Island full poop and smell. Be aware of this trip don't waste time and money.

Great day spent at Scape Park. It is very much an all day excursion. Wear swimsuit under cool comfy clothes. Water shoes must be worn. The hammock swing was great and the cave swim was nice and cold. There is quite a bit of walking especially to get to the Blue Hole. Zipline was fun but challenging. Some of the platforms require actual crawling and climbing up side of hill. There's a nice waterfall at the top of the park next to the pizza shack. The Cafe was reasonably priced and the food was good. There's also a coffee shop and place to get drinks. If you're looking for a great experience in the DR, plan to visit Scape Park!

Staying at Sports Illustrated Resorts on the marina which doesn't have a beach front. This is the beach for our hotel which is about a 15-20 minute drive. Plenty of chairs and cabanas, blue warm water, and sunshine. Even with temps in the 90's and a UV index of 12- there was a wonderful ocean breeze. Great restaurant/ bar right on beach & convenient bathrooms. Life is good here!

Inside Cap Cana. Wonderful! Great service at the beach bar. White powered sand and plenty of palms to provide shade while you enjoy the warm tropical breeze and cool ocean waters.

Beautiful beach with crystal clear water. Water’s very shallow and not wavy so great place to chill with or without family/kids. Very attentive staff that go above and beyond with their service! Would definitely come back and enjoy a stay or just a day pass, which is what I did in this instance.

This beach is beautiful. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star is because it still needs a little clean up from all the rocks it has even when you are coming into the water. The water was very warm and nice.

If you coming from Ancora resort you must have to pay for everything. The other side of the beach has better looking view.

Absolutely stunning 😍 private beach associated with ancora cap cana where only four people occupied. Could not ask for better weather nor more efficient and kind waitress Hilda and her bartender. An absolute must see while in DR.

First, the beach was really dirty, there was no food or drinks in all inclusive as advertised by our Hotel, Sports Illustrated resort. We had to pay 25 dollars a person for the day to have food and drinks. I'll recomend that , is well worth it. The beach server Adonis was wonderful and very attentive, he did a great job bringing food and drinks all afternoon and was very apologetic about the fiasco with the misinformation.

Beautiful beach. We were part of the Sports illustrated Resort and there is no beach on site, so they partnered with Juanillo. SI is an all inclusive resort but we had to pay $25.00 each, to eat and drink here. The food was good and we paid less than if we had shown up at the beach on our own. The beach was beautiful and the water was so warm. We loved it. You can stand in the water for a long way once you enter. It was pretty incredible. We would recommend this beach.❤️

Restaurant by the marina and beautiful wood work. It did have a strong sea smell. VERY EXPENSIVE, and Service was slow. We ordered most things on the menu and everything was good. Both 2 deserts the cream brûlée and the chocolate was good 👍🏼

This is a great place for dinner but there is a slight stench in the air because of the sargassum but I'm telling you this place is worth going to the service was awesome the food was awesome the live music was awesome We had a great time!!! This was my wife's birthday dinner and they treated her as royalty. We definitely recommend!!!

Beautiful interior. Electric violin player was amazing. That’s when the fun stopped. Service was atrocious. Sat there for 20 minutes before anyone even came over to acknowledge us or offer beverages, instead deciding to patronize with the other tables that had been there for awhile. Once the waiter did come around, we were brought incorrect menus which meant another 10-15 minute wait to get the correct ones. A full 45 minutes since being seated, we were able to order a much needed cocktail. Unfortunately, those cocktails were not nearly strong enough to cover up the poor quality and overall lack of flavor of all the food to come. Chose to start with the truffled tuna tartare and it was lacked any discernible truffle flavor. The tuna did not taste fresh and the presentation was certainly not up to guff for a restaurant purporting to be one of the best in the area let alone the island. Chose the surf & turf pasta and the coconut shrimp risotto for entrees. Yuck! The pasta had legitimately 2 shrimp, 1 mushroom and the “filet” was just a bunch of overcooked pieces of gristle likely left over from the steak entree served. The risotto was not complex and delicious but rather overbearing & utterly disappointing. When we were just ready to get out of the place, it took another 15 minutes to just track someone down to get our check. A completely forgettable experience. Avoid at all costs. There’s a reason the Westin offers free transportation to this tourist trap. It excels in nothing but overpriced, unflavored and completely dissatisfying food. The sleek facade may lead some astray but seek literally any other alternative, particularly for the money.

During my recent visit to La Yola in Punta Cana, I had mixed feelings about the overall experience. While the staff was friendly and the ambiance was nice, there were a few aspects of the dining experience that left me underwhelmed. One of the first things that stood out to me was the portion sizes. They were disappointingly small, especially considering the high prices charged at this establishment. I found myself wanting more after finishing my meal, which left me feeling unsatisfied. While the presentation of the food was pleasing, it did little to make up for the lack of quantity. In terms of taste, the food at La Yola was decent but not exceptional. It lacked that special something that would have made it truly memorable. The flavors were average, and I didn't feel particularly impressed by any of the dishes I tried. Considering the reputation of the restaurant, I expected more in terms of flavor and culinary innovation. On a positive note, the staff at La Yola were polite and attentive. They were quick to address any questions or concerns we had and made an effort to ensure our needs were met. Their friendly and accommodating service added a touch of warmth to the dining experience, and I appreciated their efforts. In conclusion, while La Yola offers a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff, the small portion sizes and lackluster taste of the food left much to be desired. Considering the relatively high prices, I expected a more memorable and satisfying culinary experience. If you're looking for exceptional food with generous portions, you may want to explore other dining options in the area.

Small portions but the food tastes great. The restaurant itself is not that close to the beach but they have a couple of tables on the sand and sun beds with umbrellas close to the water. The shrimp dish was soooo delicious, just the perfect amount of spices. The brownie with ice cream was also great. I gave 4 stars just for the small size of the dishes.

The restaurant is visually stunning and someone was actually setting up a “WILL YOU MARRY ME?” sign in the sand when I visited. Really beautiful location with a great view of the beach. The food was okay but my favorite was the pasta. 10/10! The flavor was delicious and it was really filling. Also the garlic sauce that came with the fish fillet was excellent! I recommend the mojitos too!

We just had our wedding at Jellyfish and it was amazing. Farrah and Giana are pros at what they do and they have it down to a science. Everything ran so smooth because they knew exactly how to direct everyone. The decorations were beautiful and the food delicious. Every time my drink was close to empty someone was there handing me a new one. It pouredddd down rain all night and they were so accommodating moving all the tables and creating a cute dance floor indoors. Then when the rain stopped with one hour of the reception they opened up the outdoor dance floor. I highly recommend getting married here!

I went here to celebrate my friends wedding and absolutely loved it. Beautiful venue, staff was attentive and so helpful, great food. The getting ready room for the brides was also great. Would recommend!

Food was delicious. Service was solid. Not a ton of pushy upselling like most places. It was easy to relax and enjoy time with family. Would recommend, but be prepared $$$$. (Missed a few apps and wine)

The food and drinks were very good, but the service was slow and disappointing. My boyfriend made a reservation in advance for my birthday celebration, and asked to bring a cake with a candle after our meal. At first, we waited for 40 minutes after having finished our meals, then they brought a piece of cake just with a “hbd “ written on the plate. No congratulations from the staff or the candle on the cake. The host later said they ran out of candles. But it was discussed days in advance, how could you not plan this? You can buy those things in any store. The overall experience was good, but service always impacts the desire to come back. So we won’t be back unfortunately.

Loved Citrus! Took a 35 minute taxi ride from Cap Cana and it was completely worth it. Very diverse menu and they executed on every dish we ordered. Would definitely recommend it when you need a break from the resort food. Service was also outstanding!

Absolutely our favorite place in Punta Cana by far! We went for three dinners and two lunches during our trip, and everything we tried on the menu was amazing. The staff was amazing, extremely welcoming, helpful, and kind. Reyes was awesome! His attention to detail, recommendations, personality, and friendliness were over the top. 100% would return on our next trip and probably five more times :)

We were warmly greeted by the hostess as she located seating for a party of three promptly. The establishment was very busy for a late Monday evening. It appeared this restaurant was busy among the others on the street. Many other restaurants nearby walk up to you quickly to obtain immediate contact to draw you in...while this place was very bright and airy. My husband, my sister, and I were drawn in by the calm and inviting decor. Once we sat at the table, Edwin was very attentive to our needs, offering to speak in English to my American husband. He immediately understood his needs and took time to explain the menu. My initial intent was to order the chuccrassco, but I was reluctant because the menu had an Asian fusion. I'm so relieved by the choice I made...it was the best steak I've ever had. And I'm an avid carnivore! My son's birthday is tomorrow and I think this will be the place we go. I've captured some pictures of the meals ordered. My sister was very blessed to have Edwin follow us down the road to hand her, the cell phone she left behind.

The restaurant it is a cute space with an interesting fusion menu to satisfy your cravings. Everything was fresh , from the sushi rolls to the curry dish. Risottos were extremely good, just as I remembered them being in Italy. Highly recommended

This place beat our expectations! My husband had the fried snapper and I had the coconut mahi. Our son had the sushi and loved it. We had Mofongo and croquettes for appetizers. The service was impeccable. We never waited for anything. It was by far the best service we had during our stay in Punta Cana. I will definitely visit again when we are back in the DR.

This was by far the best restaurant we visited throughout our whole trip through the DR. A Peruvian Chef is preparing world-class food. Everything were had in our 4 visits was extraordinary visually and taste wise. Well worth the price!

This place is so good. Breakfast two days in a row and we had to go to see what dinner was like. It did not disappoint. Ranch Eggs is amazing for breakfast. The ribeye and skirt steak with risotto are divine. I wish this was close to home so I could eat here more.

Nice spot with a great outdoor section. We ordered way too many apps so didn't get dinner but the apps were so good and filling. Everything from the sliders, tacos, nachos and ceviche were a hit. Drinks were really good here and the service was great.

Most dinner dishes run from $500-$1,000 pesos ($10-$20 USD) and wow were they all amazing! We ordered a round of water and were served bread topped with garlic butter and parmesan. For apps we tried the chicken croquettes and ropa viejo (beef) mofonguito - the croquettes were a bit hit! For dinner I had the Thai Coconut Mahi Mahi which is served with large shavings of coconut and was very good! Honestly for the price I was worried I would be let down by the food but it all exceeded my expectations. The place is fancier than most and very clean. Wait staff was very friendly. They asked if we spoke Spanish (I do my best but I'm not great!) and grabbed an English speaking server to wait on us. The server did come back to us multiple times to check on us. I noticed a couple of poor reviews and my thought is this place can often be described in other reviews like it is a Michelin star restaurant and it is not that. It is a local restaurant serving some fantastic dishes and the food is better than most places in the area. Yes it is under seasoned but nothing some salt can't fix. No the drinks are not strong but personally I liked them. We will be back for more dinners!

Welcomed by Wilkins and shown to a table. Menu explained and advised about the time of year meaning no local lobster due to breeding. Very knowledgeable and such a caring person with excellent customer service. Large portions and excellent quality. Definitely recommend

This was probably the best lobster I have ever had in my life. The grilled seafood platter was enough food for my husband, 6 year old son, and myself. It comes with a side of plantains and we also got the octopus for appetizer. Wonderful food & service….not to mention you are right on the beach! My husband wants to go back before we leave the DR.

The best seafood I’ve ever had! It was super fresh and perfectly seasoned. 🙌🏽 The cost for all that we had was about $113 for the seafood platter, spaghetti, 3 mama Juana, 2 presidents, 2 Coronas, 1 margarita, 1 shot of tequila, and a lobster. Hands down the best bang for your buck.

The best restaurant I tried in Dominican-Republic. Good service and good quality and price. The grilled seafood platter is so delicious and big enough for 2 people. Very nice sea view. I 100% recommend.

We came to this restaurant twice because we liked the food so much. All the seafood was very fresh and cooked perfectly. Chino was a great and attentive waiter who took time to explain and give recommendations. Also a nice spot to watch the sunset.

We stopped in from a walk on the beach....it was really busy ...service seemed rush but I guess to be as expected ..pricing was not good not bad...food was ok....we have had much better margaritas...too sweet...so just couldn't give it 5 stars...

Recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Punta Cana! My boyfriend and I stayed at the Grand Palladium and came to Captain Cook's twice. He got the steak and I got the shrimp & lobster, it was absolutely delicious! Our server Wilkins was so kind and welcoming, he ensured we were taken care of. It's a beautiful view as we sat facing the beach and our first visit made us come back again, will definitely visit this restaurant when we come back.

We walked to this location and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere! We speak very little Spanish but the hostess assisted our server. She made our experience even more amazing. We returned later in the week on our 20th Wedding Anniversary and dined inside, which was beautiful. Our server again was amazing. He took great care of us and the food was amazing. I suggest going around 4:00 pm-6:00 pm before it starts getting packed. When we return to Punta Cana we will dine here again.

We could not have asked for a better dinner on our last night in DR. The atmosphere was luxurious, the service impeccable, and the food absolutely delicious. The rendition of the ceviche Nikkei was on the sweeter side but exquisite, nonetheless. However, the 96-hour short rib was mouthwatering, as were all the other dishes, including the cocktails and desserts. Though, my favorite cocktail of the night was the Ayyyy, Que Rico. Excellent food. Provecho!

Wonderful place for a family dinner! Celebrated 10 year +1 anniversary with family and friends. Staff knowledgeable and very accommodating. Followed COVID-19 guidelines to letter! Food was outstanding and the drinks were delicious! Children had a wonderful time and were also made to feel special. Can't wait to return, but this time just me and the hubby❤. Thank you Noah!

This is my go-to spot in Punta Cana. The food is delicious, the staff is very accommodating. My Dominican husband is a picky eater, and they were able to serve him the food he wanted even though it was not on the menu. The chef even came out to our table to make sure everything was to our liking.

This place never disappoints. The food is delicious. The service is great and the ambiance is versatile. Making this restaurant fit for various occasions.

So we (as tourists who stayed at one of the resorts) asked local people about their favorite place to eat and everyone said “Noah” 😊 So, my husband and I ordered Grilled Lobster, Coconut Dorado, Quinoa salad and an appetizer (Mofongo). Lobster was fresh cooked well and served with nicely clarified butter. Garlic butter with the bread was bright and fresh with a nice garlic bite. Coconut Dorado was a bit salty and there was not much coconut flavor but I liked it anyway. But the desserts 🤩 they were FANTASTIC 🔥🔥🔥 We will recommend this place 100%!
