Pisa

Pisa has been a tourist destination since the late 19th century. The Tuscan city is best known for its Leaning Tower, but has so much more to offer. Pisa’s historic center is a masterpiece of town planning, with a medieval cathedral, a Romanesque baptistry and tower, a Renaissance belfry, and numerous attractive piazzas. Pisa is also an ideal starting point for day trips to Florence.
