We stopped here on a whim & I'm so glad we did! Being from the east coast it felt a little surreal walking around all the cacti, plants & wildlife but this place is absolutely stunning. There is plenty to see, you could easily spend several hours walking around. It's very clean & the staff is very knowledgeable & down to earth. The gardens are so calming & relaxing, I couldn't stop smiling the entire time. As someone else said pictures are great but it is so much better in person. Truly a wonderful experience!

My wife and I had a pleasant visit here and did it comfortably in about 2 hours, including the gift shop. They truly put a lot of love and care into the multiple trails and plants. There are also plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife such as rabbits, ground squirrels, roadrunners, quail, and so on. Don't worry about not bringing enough water, as there are plenty of free water bottle refill stations with cold and tasty water which was much appreciated. Lastly, if you're a local or have flexibility, check their website to find their freebie day to save a few bucks.

This place is heaven on earth. I leave a lot of reviews and have rarely wished to lavish such praise. If you don’t leave five stars you maybe should talk to your therapist. This is incredible!!! It is massive and in reality you could easily spend 3 to 4 hours here appreciating the expanse of desert plants and flowers and sculpture. It is beyond beautiful and I would argue one of the finest collections of such natural wonders on the planet. The staff are professional and passionate, the grounds are modern and kept, there are all sorts of possibilities for events as well and whatever you might need as a visitor for hydration or food if you must. I just felt totally calm and at peace and by the way, there are hundreds of birds and I mean of all varieties but most of all we saw so many hummingbirds playing together and they are quite curious, I snagged a photo. This is an instance where the photos are beautiful but the place is better in real life. The natural world is in abundance here and it will, it should connect with your soul. Enjoy!

The place is so serene, peaceful, well-designed and maintained that it it helps you remember why we can still love Arizona. Because it’s surely not for its divisive politics. I loved seeing all the fall family/engagement photo shoots take place here as well. Which means they will not discourage if you pay the entrance fee. Every penny was worth it, even if you aren’t doing a photo shoot. The gorgeous art work juxtapose the desert landscape in a brilliant way. And the butterfly garden is a treat. Fabulous descriptions of the cacti and plants and their significance to the ecosystem. And open late during certain times of the year when lighting comes on at “golden hour” to make the place sparkle. It’s a desert museum worth seeing whether you live or are visiting Phoenix.

Went on a Saturday night for their flashlight event! So much fun and the weather was enjoyable at that time. I went at 7:30pm and wish I would've gone at 7pm for some better sunset photos and to see way more as flashlights can only do so much. They have ton of little things all throughout the garden for children to do as well at night. I don't have kids so I can't speak much on that part. They also have a nice little gift shop. Multiple drinking fountains with bottle fill ups throughout the garden. Very well taken care of and would visit, again.

Just the right size for me whose attention span for such things is a couple hours or so. Very nice grounds with meandering sidewalks and beautiful landscapes. Our interactions with the staff and rangers were great. The butterfly exhibit was (for me) surprisingly engaging. Parking was free and easy. Folks using wheelchairs I think would find lots of paths that work here. Lots and lots of pokey plants so watch those young kids!

Absolutely Amazing! We had such a great time at the botanical gardens. Since being from Ohio, it felt like we were on an alien planet with all the unique plants and environment. The garden was a great way to see the variety of plants and learn about the ecosystem of the desert. On top of the standard botanical garden delivery, there are Chihuly glass sculptures nestled into the gardens. My crew spent over two hours walking the grounds. Our experience matched the value of the price of admission.

It is a wonderful place in Phoenix, Arizona, and I can strongly say that you will definitely enjoy the time you spend here. I was on transit in Arizona, and was thinking about how to spend my long layover. When I checked, I found this place, which is very close to the airport! I called a taxi and visited the place. It was a well-worth visit of at least half a day! This is very useful, especially for botany students and nature lovers. This is incredible!!! You may experience desert plants, flowers, and sculptures, which are beyond beautiful!! The staff are professional and friendly. I felt very peaceful! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!! Anytime I have some extra money I come here to enjoy the atmosphere. I got a discount for National Cactus Day and took my children, they were so young and loved coming here I was surprised because they don’t even like going to the zoo. However, seeing the butterflies and all the gorgeous plants they absolutely loved it. Even in the summer time it’s fun! The entire enclosure is well kept and very clean, I’m glad my children loved it as much as I did mainly because there’s lots of fun places for them to climb!

What a fantastic place to explore desert plants! My family and I had a few hours before we had to be at the airport, so we decided to explore. It was great to walk around at our own pace and look at everything there. We even saw rabbits and lizards! It was very hot (more than 100°F) but the gift shop has air conditioning and a nice selection of gifts and souvenirs. I will return the next time I'm in town.

What a pleasant surprise for me and my family. I visited MIM during Teacher Aappreciation week and enjoyed free admission and a gift catalog which was of very good quality. We were an all-adult group of 4 and we had a blast! The exhibits were organized by region, and we walked around the world learning about music and history. Some exhibits were interactive videos with audio headsets. We did the self-guided tour. A lot of walking, but there were plenty of seats to take a break. The experience room was a unique place where visitors can try playing all kinds of instruments. The museum restaurant, Cafe Allegro, did not disappoint. We all purchased some unique items in the gift shop. Give yourself plenty of time. Our group spent 5 hours there !

Really can’t say enough about this place. I’m not even a Musical person, but I was just blown away by this museum. Way larger than I expected, with absolutely beautiful grounds that can be enjoyed when the weather finally breaks! Not only will you see a vast variety of instruments, But also outfits and costumes worn by stars. So many historical instruments, beautifully arranged by region, as well as by instrument type. If I, as a non-musical person loved it, I cannot imagine how much a musical person will enjoy this place.

Fascinating. Several hours was not enough. Cafeteria has great food. Outside patio eating area was beautiful. Will go again but do in reverse order as so much info in American area alone.

We had fun with our infant. They have headphones and an exploration and play place for little ones. A great time for the whole family. Just wonderful. Worth buying the membership as you will want to come back over and over if you are a resident. And the restaurant is quite good and affordable.

This is a wonderful place, not just for musical instruments, but also history and geography and cultures from around the world. Each country display has a map where the country is located, and instruments (and costume /dress) used in that location. The headphones will link to the videos playing on that display screen, which show a few clips of the music in that region, using the instruments you see on display. There are also displays of musical instrument manufacturers, and displays of each kind of instrument. There is a coffee shop and an outdoor area where there was a live performance that day. The outdoor area is gorgeous, with covered tables, shaded trees areas, water features and landscaping. You are not permitted to carry water or any food or drink through the museum. I had to check my water bottle at the front. Everyone working was very kind, friendly, and helpful! One lady told me that they have live performances most nights of the week. It is more affordable to buy the membership if you plan on going more than once - which would be great to see more! There is so much here, I had to miss areas since I was only there for 2.5 hours. Overall wonderful place with a wonderful atmosphere!

This is one of the best museums that we've visited! Visitors get a headset that pairs with videos at each display. We spent 4 hours on the main floor, and there was still more to see! They have a big room with hands-on instruments for exploration and experimentation as well as a cafe and a restoration viewing area on the main floor. The upstairs features the history of music and instruments from every continent. It was definitely worth the$20 admission.

What a fantastic museum!! Really loved going through each exhibit but I wished we had more time in okie schedule to see everything. There were free tours that happen every other hour, which is great, but they breeze through everything. My husband and I eventually broke away from the group so that we could take our time and look at everything. We’ll be back!!!

What a wonderful place! The exhibits are so beautifully arranged. I was nervous about coming with my 6 year old, but especially my 3 year old. The staff was so understanding and patient! We spent most of our time in the experience gallery. There are so many instruments from all around the world for everyone to try playing! It was amazing!

Amazing, amazing, amazing. And sensational. Hundreds of years of history in a single building. Free parking. $20 per person to go and see music history over the past 1000 years and by continent. Truly inspiring and worth the drive to north Scottsdale. Make sure to spend at least a few hours there to really experience this place. Great food, too! The special exhibit was not worth it but the cost was very low so no regrets. But I do recommend you avoid the upsell

Incredible collection of musical instruments from around the world with detailed history. The headphones and audio box provided added immensely to the experience. As you walk through from display to display it automatically plays the sound and music from that display. We ended up spending about three hours here and didn’t fully experience everything. Huge collection of modern day instruments and artifacts like Johnny Cash’s suit and guitar and Taylor Swift clothing. Plus massive areas on the second floor from regions and countries throughout the world with traditional music. Amazing place that we’re already planning our next visit to see more of.

Amazing zoo, very green, no plastic bags for merchandise. Animals look to be treated really well here, enclosures for the bigger animals are huge, making it seem more natural. Definitely would recommend everyone to visit if in the area, purchasing tickets online on their website will save you a couple of bucks and being able to skip the ticket booth lines if any at all. Atmosphere was very clean, they do an impeccable job with that. If you're not a long walker, I'd recommend the scooterpals, as an adult, you can ride 2 person on it, pretty fun actually and you can unleash the kid inside you. 😁

Such a great zoo! There is so much to do every time you come. The animal exhibits are great! You can get up close to most of the animals. The zoo has entertainment for all ages here. You can ride a camel, hit the splash pad, ride the merry-go-round, and the farm area has a playground and petting zoo - so much fun! Definitely recommend coming early in the morning to see the zookeepers feed the animals. Concession stands all over the grounds, and the exhibits are well spaced out. There are tons of different event nights throughout the year, too! It's definitely worth the visit!

The phoenix zoo was amazing for myself, my wife my 8 year old and my 7 month year old. It was a busy day, but the lines were short, none of the attractions were crowded. They have definitely upgraded the grounds and even have venues for weddings and birthday parties. The membership option is a great value, pays for itself in just about 2 trips. We are going back next week to see the African wildlife exhibits we missed. Plenty of restrooms and snack stands. The petting zoo is always a hit with my kids, and I love the river stingrays and alligator exhibits. My wife thought the prairie dogs were adorable, and the carousel was a big hit. I have never been so terrified in my life, of, my baby, having a freak accident and slipping off. My stress was at a 99 out of 10. My apologies, our pictures are more of the fun my family was having, and not the animals themselves

I will always and absolutely love this place! Coming to this zoo as a child, and as an adult now makes me so happy! They are creating new exhibits for the animals, and everyone is always trying their best to keep the place clean. The new update in the gift shop is absolutely nice! Of course the food is a bit expensive, but going at the zoo during a nice chilly day is fun! I came along with my sister's school field trip, so we did have to wait a bit. But that's understandable. The string ray bay was absolutely worth it! The people there with red hair, and another person were very nice to my family and I! Feeding the stingrays is so nice. And they make sure you know how to feed them. Always be prepared to pack up snacks, and water! And always please make sure to pick up your trash!

The zoo is really nice. I like the atmosphere; walking all around watching the beautiful trees, flowers and some lovely animals. It is amazing and you should spend half of a day, if you wanna visit all the animals. African animals are most visited and they look so beautiful, water's side/ part is the best part of the zoo. King lion,Rhino, Camel, greater flamingo are really lovely and giraffes are amazing.

This was our first visit as a family and we had such a good time. My kids were both so excited, even my teenager. It's always fun to learn about the animals and get to see them. We went when they first opened and it wasn't too busy, but it was definitely getting busier when we left 3 hours later.

Really enjoyed this zoo not too packed and definitely the petting area was our favorite especially for the kids. The best part was the camel ride which our little one got on twice on how much she enjoyed it. Would highly recommend to buy tickets only because to buy tickets at the place is a very long line. We just went and showed our tickets and we were let through with no problem. Overall very good expiration for your little ones. Will be back again.

Always clean, staff is always wonderful, and the membership is totally worth it. With the membership you can get in at 8 a.m. instead of the regular opening time of 9 a.m. which makes all the difference on hot weekends. Not to mention you're seeing all the animals first thing without loud crowds. It's truly magical!

I don't have little kids anymore, but wanted a good place to walk and get outside more, so I bought a membership to the zoo. I love it! I'm not sure I'd recommend buying a one day pass (price!) but the membership has been worth it. There's so much to see, and a variety of add-on activities like dining or rides. I love seeing the updates and new things when I go. Definitely getting my money's worth from my pass!

Neat zoo, lots of trails. Was a rainy day but animals were out. If sunny you will get hot, not a whole lot of shade areas, however there are alot of benches. Worth it, there is a cost to enter and they also do military discounts.

This museum is an absolute beautiful addition to our city. Learn about the historical Southwest while touring this beautiful property for 2-3 hours. Experience and learn about the American Indian heritage with all its history .The silver and weaving exhibits, art work, garden sculptures and architecture of the property are outstanding as well as special exhibits . A great day for the out of town visitor and locals alike. Beautiful for all ages. Parking is easy and staff is kind and welcoming .

The Heard museum is great. Make sure you stop at your local library to get two free tickets with a program called the culture pass! This place is awesome. It seems a very important purpose in making sure the USA's horrific treatment of the indigenous people here and in other states. They also had an amazing exhibit that ended on Hawaiian surf culture.

Such an amazing museum. This is probably the museum we spent the most amount of time in other than the Louvre. Truly worth a visit. We even did the starlight room that’s like a 360 theater with starlight ceiling. The staff and docents were very informative. Truly a 5-Star.

Beautiful, educational Native American museum. There is so much art on display and it’s fantastic to see all of the examples of Indigenous talent. There is a display that shows the impact of Residential/Boarding Schools and Manifest Destiny. As a Native American, This is so eye-opening and infuriating at the same time. It was by far the most impactful things we saw while there and I recommend everyone check it out. If you’re a registered tribal member, you get free admission into the museum.

The Heard Museum is a well done museum that you should visit at least once. The museum is well designed, the exhibits are laid out in a manner that allows for easy viewing. The exhibit spaces and grounds are well kept and look spectacular. There is a large collection of artwork, jewelry, and other artifacts that speak to the history of Native Americans. The Indian school exhibit details the history, both good and bad, of boarding schools for native children. It is an interesting and educational look at the history of our country.

Such a humbling, educational, and moving experience learning about so many different tribes. Don’t miss the boarding school exhibit upstairs. It’s such a well thought out curation that shows the impact of colonizers. The grounds are beautiful.

My visit to the Heard Museum was amazing! It's a place filled with incredible Native American art and culture. The exhibits were fascinating and taught me so much. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's a must-see if you want to learn about the rich history and creativity of Native American communities.

Very nice museum but we didn't have much time to see all of it. The lady that sold us the tickets told us that the 2 hours we had before they closed was enough time to see it and it really wasn't. Why they close at 4pm I have no idea. That was insanely early to close. Most museums are open until at least 5 or 6pm. They should consider extending hours. Also there was not a single affordable thing in the gift shop and I was sorely disappointed. All the beautiful items were hundreds if not thousands of dollars. First time I left a gift shop disappointed. Please include some nice Native American items that normal people can afford. Other than that we enjoyed what we were able to see. Would go back if we had more time...

All I can say is wow what an amazing Museum to walk through. I teach US History in FL and I will now take back a whole new lesson to show much students I wish I could take them through your amazing facility. Just outstanding how you are preserving the culture and heritage and the truth about how the native Americans were treated. I will absolutely coming back.

I went on a Saturday. It was Super Bowl day the street was busy with people showing off team pride. No absolutely No water bottle of any kind you must check your water at the front desk. It was my first time here I spent a lot of time looking at Indian school experience the museum is vast and I didn’t get enjoy everything because I had munchies. If you go I recommend bringing a snickers or peanuts or something. I am going back to the Heard museum and I’m going to make sure I start with the Native American artifacts first.

If you want to learn about Native American history, this is the place. Lots of exhibits. Downtown Phoenix location is easy to get to and has plenty of parking. While you can view the exhibits on your own, taking a tour with a docent helps the history come alive. And, there is a Cafe and gift shop, too. Certainly a must do experience when in the Valley of the Sun.

Great fun climbing / scrambling up the mountain. Trainers are fine but hiking boots ideal. Few tricky bits but worth it for the views.

We had an awesome experience hiking the trail. Despite the heat it was an enjoyable venture. The trails are well maintained and the foot traffic was tolerable. We will definitely be hiking here when we visit the area again.

Very rocky climb up. Come prepared with water, hiking shoes, not gym shoes, gloves, food. Stretch and warm up. If you’re slow or new to hikes come prepared to spend 3 hrs round trip. That was my hardest hike ever.

The hike was really scenic since the mountain is located in the middle of Phoenix. There is so much to see when you get to the top. You can easily get a view of the downtown Phoenix. This place also offers some of the best sunrise and sunset views. I would say that the hike was worth it. The only problem is that it’s usually very busy and parking can be problematic. That’s why it’s best to go early in the morning.

It was one of the toughest and most satisfying hikes I've ever done. I did the echo side, didn't know there was an easier side, but I'm glad I didn't know it because I might have missed out on that feeling of accomplishment after.

Started hiking at 6 AM. Weather was excellent and perfect for hiking today! Thoroughly enjoyed the climb and descend. Views were stunning from the top! Would love to go back again soon!

We started our day by trying to hike at the Echo Canyon Trailhead but the parking lot was closed because it was too full. We ended up doing Cholla Trailhead and since it was such a busy Saturday we had to park on the side of the street about a half mile away or so. The hike was more on the moderate side, some spots were pretty rocky and could be challenging but nothing too crazy. You can get to Camelback Mountain from either the Echo Canyon Trailhead or the Cholla Trailhead. Overall a very beautiful hike. Round trip from the car was 3.8 miles and 1,335 feet elevation gain.

5 star views and a workout you’ll feel the next day! I’ve done this hike a couple times but never in the spring. Weather was beautiful and we even got to see the fire fighters in training. It was a weekday but there were still quite a few people there. We got there at 830 and there was a few parking places left. I would say this is a top 5 hike in Az.

This is fantastic climb! The Echo Canyon route is approx. 2 mi. each way. Intermediate first 1/3, advanced final 2/3. Bring good hiking shoes and plenty of water. My first climb took 2 hrs. round-trip. So worth it! Be advised to arrive early as the parking lot is small and fills quickly.

We had a great experience. The steak was cooked perfectly and you can buy their drink glasses. My companion said that the steak melted in their mouth but tasted like they cooked it on the same thing as chicken, the onion strings were great but could have been a little crispier. The long rectangle chips they give you with the spinach dip break really easy maybe if they switch to the regular triangle chips. The spinach dip comes with a really good bread too though. Server was great and very friendly will be back.

Had this on my list of restaurants I wanted visit for some time now and I’m so glad I finally made the drive to do so! The food was absolutely delicious. There’s not one single thing I could find wrong with this restaurant. Only “issue” you might come across is deciding on what to order which they have a 2 or 3 meat plate if you want to go that route and have some leftovers. The mashed potatoes were so good as were the mac and cheese which makes me believe all their sides would have been just as good. I’m also not a fan of cornbread but will try a small piece wherever I go just to see. The cornbread here, a small piece would not suffice and I couldn’t resist eating the whole thing. At the end of our meal we were surprised when our waiter brought us freshly made mini cinnamon donuts in a little to go bag. Would highly recommend this place and will be going back. I already have some family members planning a day to go give it a try.

Coming from Kansas City-style barbecue country, I often find that the Phoenix area often pales in comparison to all the great KC smokehouses. Bobby-Q's is an exception. Outstanding smoking paired with the kind of sauce I crave makes for an awesome combination. The atmosphere is fun and the service is super friendly. The deserts (like the bread pudding and fresh homemade donuts) are a welcome bonus. I apologize for not having the before images, but we dug into the delicious ribs before I remembered to take a few shots of the fully plated meals. A guess that's a clear sign that I am a fan of Bobby-Q's!

There was a bit of a wait and well worth it. Some of the best smoked baby back ribs we have had & the smoked sliced brisket was also very good! Orange Blossom beer was very cold and the Bobby's Mule is a fun tequila based mule with fresh ingredients. Service was on point. And the fresh donuts are just the cherry on top! Only negative is the wine list is lacking, a better selection to go with the quality of meats would be great. We spent around $150 with tip for 2 meals each w/2 sides, 2 beers, 1 cocktail ($15ea) & 1 glass of wine(avg. $9ea).

Food was amazing, servers were exceptionally friendly, and the seating time was very fast for a Saturday night. The Q rolls are amazing and you could honestly just order those and be content. The coleslaw is definitely a standout and the St Louis ribs are pretty solid, although too saucy for my style but I prefer a more traditional St Louis Dry Rub (naked). Their mister is truly exceptional, to the point there is actually water on the floor. You will not be hot ever. Loved it!

It was a bit of a hike for us to get here. We live in Waddell. It was Totally worth it! We went for a late lunch on a Friday. So, they weren't busy, just steady. I had the brisket sandwich. My husband had the prime rib sandwich. He said it was so good, the Au Jus sauce wasn't even needed. Seriously. My brisket was amazing as well. Hubby got fries. I had the baked beans. His fries were very, very good. I must admit, I didn't really care for the beans and didn't eat them all. Our server, Olivia, asked if they weren't good? I told her they were just ok. She offered to get me something else. I told her that wasn't necessary. (I didn't need anything else to eat anyway! And honestly, I make the best baked beans I've ever had. So, there is that.) We were there during happy hour. I had the raspberry sangria, two actually. Very good! We are anxious to go back soon. We'd like to go at dinner next time. Looking forward to trying the steaks! Olivia was very attentive. Made suggestions and answered questions with knowledge and enthusiasm. The food and the service were both exceptional!

Very good food and quick service. We did make a reservation. The meat trio combo was more than enough for us to share! The brisket egg rolls (not sure that was what they’re called) was good but really just meat in a wrapper. Tender though for being cooked again. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Honestly amazing food. I got the smoked St Louisiana ribs and my husband got smoked baby back ribs. And the gave us a free sample of brisket. Amazing customer service. Everyone here is nice and it's fast. I didn't have to wait long for my food or refills. Foods so good I couldn't finish my plate. Overall a great experience.

Had the 3-meat platter with two sides. Portions were enough to satisfy 3-adults. Chose BBQ chicken, brisket and St. Louis ribs with potatoes salad and Mac n cheese. The complimentary corn bread was absolutely delicious as well as the "Thank Q" donuts (also complimentary). My sister and I enjoyed the Spicy Mango Margarita with the tajin salted rim. So yummy with great service from Trevor. Food came out quickly and was nice and hot. If you haven't been to Bobby Q's, you are definitely missing out.

This is the best BBQ joint in the area, the meat, the service, the ambiance, every category. A must eat place in Phoenix, put it on your agenda as the go to place for the top places in Phoenix to eat. Our server was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the menu and was very very courteous, & added to the charm and experience of the establishment. The meat is smoked to perfection, & the sides, they can hold their own..!! The donut robot is the icing on the. Meat cake ..!! Hope you get a chance to visit and relish..!!!

This was our favorite breakfast restaurant inside the Biltmore. It became our go to place during our stay but only because of our daily food credit. This place is just like any other upscale hotel restaurant---expensive and extremely high prices. Great food and excellent service! Photos speak and absolutely loved the fresh juices!! Deserving of a 5 out of 5! Thank you Amy for great service, your doing wonderful.

Superb. Beautiful setting in tastefully restored Frank Lloyd Wright hotel, with attention to detail. Elton was the consummate gentleman server. Food was artfully presented and delicious. I started with the cocktail "Baby You're Driving:" cruzan single barrel, lime juice, pure cane syrup, angostura bitters, chandon brut classic, mint - nicely balanced, not sweet. Then had carrot-ginger soup (smooth, balanced) and a shrimp cocktail. Delightful.

Wow what an excellent dining experience! The service and food was absolutely top notch and the atmosphere was perfection. Highly recommend the steak frites and the wedge salad but honestly I’m sure you can do no wrong. The menu had so many tasty options, I can’t wait to come back!

Edit: we were discussing our most recent visits here and I felt the need to revise my post down to One Star because I asked my partner about coming back this weekend and he said that he doesn’t want to come back after the last two awful visits here. As someone who comes here regularly, it saddens me to write this review. This review pertains only to our most recent visits which were on Easter and June 4. Previous to that time., if you look at the menu photos before Easter, you’ll notice that the menu has changed drastically since then. First of all. they used to have much more variety. I enjoyed huevos rancheros, and the Spanish omelette, both of which were excellent. They also had wonderful lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes, which were to die for. Since Easter, they had a price increase, (my omelette went from $20 to $27) and the menu is drastically reduced. The huevos rancheros are gone. The Spanish omelette is gone. The pancakes are gone. What remains for breakfast are basically the farmers breakfast standby. a spinach and slimy mushroom omelette, and Eggs Benedict. Twice in this time period, my partner had the eggs Benedict and I had the spinach omelette. I always request some sautéed white onion in the omelette to give it a little extra flavor and on the two most recent occasions it’s been a major problem. On Easter they had raw Red onion that was sliced in such a way that it resembled pubic hair that they had obviously just pulled off the salad bar and stirred at the last minute into my omelette The last time the server wrote down the onions however, they never made it into my omelette so I was greeted only by the spinach and slimy mushrooms. On both of the last two occasions, we ordered an everything bagel to start. Each time the bagel was not fresh. Not only was it a baked bagel rather than a boiled bagel (like a real bagel would be), but it was two or three days past stale. I get it - this place is a resort property and prices reflect that. I just didn’t see anything to justify a seven dollar increase in a mediocre omelette. Given the fact that they have drastically reduced their menu offerings, we aren’t the only ones to have been disappointed. A gentleman sitting next to us asked for oatmeal on our last visit. He was upset to hear that there is no such thing as oatmeal on their menu any longer. Service has always been good. We’ve been treated very well by Ken, David, and Steffi. The property itself is beautiful. The restaurant is beautiful. My only problem is the menu and what’s going on with the kitchen putting out stale bagels and Inconsistent entrées. For a while we were coming here every week. Not any longer.

This place is amazing- the food was great the staff was super nice and professional. The architecture is one of a kind. Stop by for dinner or lunch. They also have a full bar.

We loved our experience at MCarthurs. The atmosphere and service are excellent. The food was good - the fish tacos were amazing and the carrot soup and salad was good. The chicken sandwich was just ok, pretty dry. Wine selection is relatively limited. All in all it’s a beautiful setting and work a visit.

My goal was to enjoy a tequila sunrise at the Wright Bar, but they were temporarily closed. We ended up at McArthur's instead. The service was great (thanks Carter) and I was able to enjoy that famous tequila sunrise! We also enjoyed the Buffalo wings and ahi tuna. Both were delicious. We will stop in at McArthur's on our next visit to the Biltmore for sure.

We had a really good dinner and a super yummy breakfast. The staff was very friendly and accommodating when we asked to move tables because we were cold. They even brought us a blanket and fixed the AC.

Such a delicious dining experience. The pizza was as good as everyone says it is. Long wait (2.5) hours was extreme, but worth it for the foodie experience. After watching Chef's Table, I had to try it and I wasn't disappointed. Everything was fresh and served to order. Service was great, too.

We actually tried to eat here three times before getting in. First time was a Friday night at the Adams Street location. Got there at 5. 1-1.5 hr wait. I prob would’ve understood except all the outside tables were empty and half the interior tables were empty???? So how there was a 2 hr wait I don’t understand. We ended up going across the way to Latha and got drinks after 1.5 hr got appetizer and one entree to snack on at Latha. After 2 hrs, he led with host and they still did not table for us. Crazy. We removed our name and stayed at Latha - Food there was top notch!!!! Next day tried to call and see if we could do pick up or takeout nobody would answer phone at either location. Sunday, went to location on N 20th right when it opened at 11 and there was already a line. Only had to wait maybe 5 min. Server was wonderful. She seemed taken a back by our experience Friday not being able to get a seat. We ordered the fresh mozerella, paperedella pasta, Rosa pizza and margherita pizza. Thoughts: Prob best caprese salad I have ever had. That mozerella cheese is out of this world. The paparedella pasta ( homemade) with the Ragu ❤️. Prob one of the best ragu pasta dishes I have ever had. And for a place famous for its pizza, me Personally I would say skip the pizza and do the pasta and mozerella. You won’t regret it The pizza - the Rosa has a very unique combination of flavors and textures. Not my favorite but I didn’t hate it. The margherita pizza - rich tomato sauce creamy mozerella and fresh basil, the the star of the show on both pizzas was the crust. Just crispy enough around edges to give it crunch but not doughy. Would I say it’s best slice ever, no. Luckily in Lincoln, NE we have to great pizza places with great unique flavor combinations and some solid crusts as well. But that caprese and pasta are top notch!!!

Salad, pizza and drinks. They can get busy but it's worth the wait. Awesome atmosphere. Old brick building that was used as a blacksmith shop back in the day. Walking distance to sports complexes. The fresh mozzarella salad was good, the white sauce pizza was better with the sausage and onions, but the red sauce was much too heavy and the olives were a bit strong in flavor and overwhelming. When I got back to Phoenix I had to come back here and eat the same pizza. Did it disappoint? No! The crisp salami tips were the best part. I wished for a little more olives but towards the end it became borderline salty so I think the proportions were well thought out. The pizza is amazing. Wood fired crust, perfect amount of sauce and toppings. Just amazing.

We waited almost 3 hours to get a table. It was a beautiful day for a walk. They said they would call us when the table was open. The wait was worth it! As we discussed why this was the gold standard for wood fired pizza our conversation zeroed in on the pizza dough. We concluded that it met everything we like about what a great dough perfectly cooked would taste like, in the same pizza. It was light yet strong. The edges were properly burnt but almost ate like a great cracker. It had just the right thinness. Everything else maintained this level of excellence. Want to know more? Read more reviews hahaha! Food was absolutely outstanding. Best pizza I’ve ever had. Everything handmade and fresh, my family and I are out of town and are huge on pizza. This place did not disappoint!

Came in at about 1115 am on a Thursday it was packed but was able to snag a seat at the bar. The staff was fantastic. The space is small but it's perfect inside, nice and quaint. Had a couple beers on tap and went with the Wiseguy Pizza. I was not disappointed the flavor was top notch. If you're in the Phoenix area make sure to stop in but if you're not there when they open be prepared for a wait.

My wife and I love pizza! Finding great food spots let alone pizza spots is fundamental when traveling or moving to a new city. Doing some research led us to Pizzeria Bianco. Excellent customer service throughout our stay. Even though the restaurant was packed/busy, we got all our dishes in a timely manner, we didn’t have to wait long like most places. The food was delicious. I got fresh mozzarella with basil, tomato, and olive oil. Extremely delicious and ate nearly every bite of it. Wasn’t disappointed. My wife went out of here comfort zone and ordered a pizza with pistachios, surprisingly it was quite good. Wasn’t expecting it to be good, but turned out to be delicious. Whether your a local or traveler, if this isn’t on your list already, make sure to add it because it’s a place we’ll be going back to.

Amazing experience. Temperature was perfect to sit outside. Wish they had a little bit more options on the menu and also they do not serve liquor. But overall it was great. The food was phenomenal. A+

It's important to remember when coming to Pizzeria Bianco that it's JUST pizza. It's also probably the best pizza in the US. And definitely the best I've ever had. I arrived on a Thursday night at 8, and was told the wait would be 1 hour. I went next door and hung out on the porch of Bar Bianco. 30 minutes later, I got a text that my table was ready. I was seated quickly & waited on quickly. I looked a little at appetizers but didn't order any, they looked nice. I ordered two pizzas, the "Sonny Boy" -- Red Sauce, fresh mozzarella, salami, olives -- and the "Rosa" Both came out very quickly. Within 10 minutes of me ordering them. Both were made with the best ingredients I've ever had on a pizza. Each individual component was better than any component on any other pizza. I'm a big red sauce guy, but I had to get the one that started it all (The Rosa). For me, the Sonny Boy won out. If you prefer red pizzas, I wouldn't hesitate to order one. I'm sure all the pizzas are exceptional, and in the future, I'll order strictly based on my preference. The vibes here are immaculate, the staff is fantastic, and the place deserves its reputation. To circle back to my initial comment, it is JUST pizza. By that I mean that it's not a religious experience. It's fantastic pizza, the absolute best. I personally couldn't justify making a trip to Phoenix just to come here. For any pizza head, it's best to run, don't walk, to Pizzeria Bianco. Important to note that 9PM (or whenever closing is) is the last seating, the restaurant will be open later if you arrive. I would advise not arriving right before 9, but 8:30 should be OK.

We came here 30min before opening and there was already a line down the street. We got the last bar seats before they announced that the next table will be seated in 1.5h. The team worked together like a well oiled machine so we got our order within 25min. The pizza was as delicious as we’d hoped! Their sausage is some of the best I’ve ever had. Every ingredient is of high quality. Sitting by the bar us allowed us to watch them make pizzas and I highly recommend doing that!

We had heard about this place on TV. It did not disappoint. Our family is on a road trip and ate here. The pizza had the best and freshest ingredients. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. We ordered 5 different pizzas and shared them.

Wow, I am from NY and I tried many good pizzas around in NYC. And this pizza is totally blew my mind with texture and taste. I got non alcoholic ginger beer and margarita pizza. I can tell that pizza was really good. And ginger beer has really strong flavor with good spice. I will miss that pizzeria. And beware that you can’t order extra pizza after your first order. If you want to share with someone you like, order with your first order.

Pizza was very good. Arguably the best crust I’ve ever had and fresh ingredients. But we waited 3 hours for a table. After returning 2.5 hours and asking for an update we were informed of priority in the bar next door. After being seated the staff had 1 focus: to get you out as fast as possible. Also parking is validated in the science center garage and found that out that out the hard way.

Good flavor, good service, I ranked 4 stars due to the meat proportion you can see in the Smoked Pork Cubano picture. The sandwich was 2 slices of ham and a very small amount of pulled pork that was heavy on the bread. I would of had my server correct this but didn't want to embarrass my company. The burger was good and the appetizer was delicious. I would not recommend this one entree.

Went here TWICE while we were in the city for an event, it was that good. Everything we tried was phenomenal. The pretzel bites were a very creative appetizer that tasted great with the included cheese sauce. The short rib was tender, and the side of homemade Mac and cheese is a no-brainer. Desserts were amazing as well. Few other items that we tried as well that were great. Really can’t go wrong with this place. (Service was fast and waiter was friendly as well)

Really chilled bar restaurant. Cool vibe. Very friendly and professional staff. Young lady serving at the bar was outstanding. Just a quick lunch for me today, fish'n'chips and a café latte. But I'll be back to try their steaks next time. This area is crying out for more venues as good as this.

Second time at arrogant butcher. My first time was for lunch. The food is solid and the drinks are great. For lunch the French dip is very good. For dinner, I highly recommend the crispy chicken breast (amazing thin cut with the crab meat on top!) or the sea bass that melts in your mouth. This place gets busy and has an outstanding record of solid food and service. Come casual and enjoy!

My hubby and I had a date night here last year and it popped up in my memories. I realized I forgot to have an amazing review. They have THE BEST OYSTER 🦪 BAR in Phoenix. The appetizers and meals were delicious. It's located right in the heart of Phoenix on Jefferson close to Chase Field. (Note that for game days there can be traffic and hard to find parking).

Casual place with incredible apps and entrees. The server was super helpful and knowledgeable on each dish. The nachos were ginormous and super light which was unexpected but it was great. The meatloaf was incredibly soft and flavorful and complimented extremely well with the mash. The mash flavor is delicious with the buttered string beans. Would definitely recommend any of these dishes! 2nd time coming Had to come back before I left Phoenix, the artichoke chip and dip was a nice blend of crispy yet light, a great start to my dinner. I ordered the crispy chicken and the combination of crab and chicken with each bite, dipped in the sauce was delicious. I love the atmosphere of the servers, my food took a little long but she came out and offered me free dessert for the inconvience which shows they really pay attention. I also had the prime rib dip was also very good. Lastly the dessert was sticky caramel cake and was super soft and moist, and it wasn't too sweet. Perfect ratio on this dessert.

I had a hard time deciding on what to eat because everything on the menu looked delicious. I ended up with the most excellent meatloaf (I'm all about comfort food) which was served with some very buttery (in a good way) smashed potatoes and fresh green beans that still had some crunch (perfect!). The meatloaf was so tender and flavorful. Good selection of beers, plus the bartender made me an excellent Old Fashioned. I'll be back the next time I'm in Phoenix.

Excellent spot downtown Phoenix. Open, inviting atmosphere. Excellent service! Loved the menu. There's definitely more I want to try. We went with the House Pretzels & Provolone Fondue.. so good. Entrees: The Butcher's Meatloaf..loved it, really good. The Prime Rib French Dip.. excellent. Too full for dessert this time, but definitely look at what they offer - they all sound so good. We parked in the paid outdoor lot across Jefferson, South of the restaurant, our server mentioned they'll validate parking for a couple parking garages close by.. something to think about.

Absolutely one of the best meals ever! The service was beyond phenomenal. The guacamole, is amazing and I definitely recommend. My mother who is visiting from Florida said a halibut dish rivaled the seafood she gets on the coast. The steak is out of this world. I’ve never had anything I didn’t like from here. Our server was incredibly considerate with my pregnant sister’s dietary restrictions and considerations. Best dining experience I have had for a while.

Plate sized taco was terrible. The entire thing was tasteless except for the burnt char of "tortilla" from the stone oven. The guac was good, if you can get past the rock hard chips, I'll give them that.

Definitely remembered the Triple D episode that featured this amazing little place. I totally agree with Guy's assessment of this place. The food is spectacular! This isn't your typical Mexican food joint. It's innovative, creative and refreshingly delightful. What we ordered surpassed all expectation in terms of taste and presentation. This is definitely a must visit when in one visits Phoenix.

Price meets the Hype but not quality! The place has certainly got the buzz but the basic stuff like the chips, guacamole weren’t upto the mark. The chips were over cooked and the Guacamole wasn’t easy to pick using the Chips. Overall too expensive, decent ambience, so-so food.

Amazing food. So delicious! Could barely walk out I was so full. Just couldn't stop ordering. Great variety, something for everyone. The staff were very friendly and explained items on the menu. Beautiful artwork and murals everywhere. I will be back often! Great parking also!

Excellent Mexican food and cocktails with great staff and a cool vibe. The walls of the restaurant are covered with local art and other indoor and outdoor areas have beautiful murals. The only problem I had was with the noise level. It's an incredibly popular joint, and with two narrow spaces and brick walls, the din is loud. I was trying to catch up with old friends, but it was a challenge to hear and be heard.

Best choice I’ve ever for a birthday dinner! The service was impeccable and the food was amazing!! I loved the vibe and the cozy dining area. We were so impressed with the menu and had a hard time deciding on what to order because it all looked delicious! We saved room for dessert and had the very best flan any of us had ever tasted. Can’t wait to go back again!

The food was really good. We love the guacamole. The service is terrible. If you have loads of time and you want to take hours to eat you will love every thing about this place. Come for the food and it’s all good

Creativity abound in the plating of their dishes! Colorful wall murals inside and outside of the restaurant. Staff were friendly, attentive, and ready to answer our curiosity questions. The restaurant’s spin on fresh guacamole with pomegranates was colorful and tasty and definitely worth trying. Dishes involving chicken is a hit or miss - not consistently prepared and leaning towards dry overcooked. Terrific visual experience but be prepared with your wallet/purse - don’t try to justify the menu prices - just enjoy the experience! Be aware parking will be a big challenge, and look cautiously for signs around the building specifying “No Barrio Cafe Parking.”

Went for lunch during the week after trying to eat there the night before, but not having enough time to wait. Cochinita pibil was fantastic and the homemade tortillas were perfect for making little tacos. Dish was full of flavor and very tender. Will visit again when next in Phoenix!

The best guac and smoked pork we have ever had. The horchata was delicious as well. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in PHX.
