I didn't expect much from this local attraction but to be honest I was absolutely blown away by it! It was extreme fun watching locals pulling off incredible tricks as well as sliding yourself. It is quite bigger than in the pictures and don't worry it is absolutely safe though there are spots on the slide that can be quite painful. But no worries, nothing too serious! The locals are there to help you slide. Ask them to take you into the waterfall right next to it. You can enter the waterfall, chill inside and then slide out again. Amazing experience! It is all for free but if you appreciate locals' help, you can give them a tip in the tip jar hanging on the tree next to the slide. Absolutely recommended to anyone staying in Paraty! Taxis will take you here for about 40 Reals.

Cost 20 real to park, unfortunately - hence the lack of 5 stars. Good fun, nice fresh cold water with lots of fish that nibble at you. You can do the water slide if you're brave enough 🙂

Nice waterfall on rocks, right on the end of the road of gold. Has a nice restaurant watching over the falls.

Absolutely wonderful place to visit, opposite to Marlene's bar, the best pastel(savory pastry) in town then you must visit the Engenho D'ouro cachaçaria distilled sugar cane spirit. Norival, the proprietor will tell you all about the process. Very interesting would recommend to my best friend.

Nice place, I relaxed here after a long journey from Sao Paulo. There is a restaurant here, really relaxing all that. You have to be careful because some places are slippery.

This beach is much more quiet than the more touristic Dos Ranchi's beach, only a short trail away! But what a change in the scenery, with the big rock and the waves splashing against the rocks in the next beach, which is also accessible via a trail. A must visit when in Trindade!

Trinadade is located really close with Paraty, in fact day trip for praty is possible. Is less busy than paraty, unfortunately the time i was there it was cloudy otherwise would be very nice.

A nice spot to take pictures from the Cacha d'aco beach. From there do not forget to check out the trails and falls around - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

You can reach Praia do Sono by walking through a 3km trail. It's not a difficult one but be sure to use repellent.

After a walk of 1.30 hour through the jungle get there ( you can go by boat, but it's not the same feeling). The beach is very beautiful and clean. There is a variety of restaurants even being an isolated beach. There are lots of camping sites if you want to stay overnight.

Great place to stop by, worth the visit. You can get there by hiking or taxi boat. I went hinking and at the end of the day I got a boat back to our car. The locals are very receptive and their food is amazing, you won't regret the visit. Don't be afraid of the dogs they are friendly and like to be around for company and they like to play.

Beautiful beach! I took the bus from the central station in Paraty going to Vila Oratorio. I got down in the last stop, that's where the hike starts. There're signs. Took me almost 1 hour to get to Praia do Sono, it was really hot and the path goes up and down. Can be slippery in some parts. Beware of snakes, spiders and scorpions (there's even a sign about it). I just saw a dead snake in the path. I had lunch in the only place open. It was good. Guess that low season has something to do with it cause there's plenty of bars/restaurants in the shore. There's also camping sites, it's a great option to stay here longer and explore nearby beaches. There's also a 5 nights hike, camping along the way and bringing your own food. The sea had waves, and it was fun! Be conscious about your level in the water as there's no lifeguards or whatsoever. I loved the fact there were few people. Definitely worth coming here for an entire day or more!! I 😊😁😄 I went back hiking, but I saw people taking a boat

Overall it was good, but the service was a bit chaotic and not trained. They forgot what we ordered. One drink of our table did not get delivered. Also asked what we ordered after 1 hour of waiting… Also they were confused when delivering the food, searching for the right table numbers. This can probably be fixed easily.

Everything we ordered was very tasty and inspired, the cocktails were very good, too! Also, the live music with the traditional songs was a nice touch!

Sorry but NO. This cannot be classified as a seafood restaurant when the prawns were mushy, the calamari (squid) still had a chewy cord attached (hasn’t been cleaned properly) so it was very chewy and didn’t taste right. The seafood pasta - was the worst I’ve had in a long time. And I LOVE seafood. The restaurant looked full but it was expensive and felt like a tourist trap. The bill was also expensive for something that tasted below average. I wouldn’t give it one star because I didn’t get food poisoned, so they deserve at least two.

Great caipirinhas and our waiter Jose was amazing. Nice, professional and dedicated. We really appreciated his attentions as he made us feel special. Highly recommended !

Overall, we really like this restaurant, because the risotto is so good. However, last time the food was not so satisfying, it feels like they changed the cheese brand for a cheaper one. Which is a pity, because they have a great cook. The cocktail in the photo tasted good but the amount of seed was unbelievable.

I wandered in with my friend on a Saturday night, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff on the street who showed me the menu. It was a pleasant atmosphere with live music, air-conditioned and cordial service. We ordered the main course, a grilled fish with passion fruit and "Gabriela" (a local distilled spirit) reduction sauce and lemon risotto. However, the fish was tasteless, the sauce disappointing and the lemon notes in the risotto were imperceptible. I found it over-priced for what was offered.

Not just the best Thai food in Paraty. One of the best you will find in Brazil. We had high expectations as this was our 2nd visit. Did not disappoint with the quality of the food or the service. They stick to a core menu that they know they can do well. Different levels of spice available but everything we orders was delicious. Recommend making a reservation in advance. I would always come back here

Nice location in the centro near other restaurants and shops. My shrimp pad Thai was so delicious! Some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The shrimps were giant. The flavor was amazing. Their cocktails are also delicious. I got a non alcoholic frozen mint drink. Attentive staff. Very cute aesthetic and paintings and theme inside. Large vegetarian menu. Free WiFi. 10/10 recommend coming here to eat!!! It’s worth it. Only bad thing is that it is expensive and my friends thought the portions were very small.

A good Thai food in a old downtown village / historic center in Paraty. Probably it will not be the best Thai food of your life, but the restaurant delivers you a good experience with a nice flavor. The price is a little over but everything in the historic center is. The service is great - much better than was in the past. The drink menu is very complete. You will find something for you! Enjoy.

Really good food! But there is more: The staff was very nice and the atmosphere was amazing. The place is a must see. I love how they decorated it and how individual the tables are. The prices are normal for Paraty. Betweet 50 and 80 Reals for the main dishes and less for the rest. They gave us free bookmarks and a beautiful business card at the end.

I searched a lot of pizza places in Paraty since it was my first time there. I read a lot of good reviews and from the photos I could immediately tell the quality of the food. I’m very happy we went there. Took me all the way back to Italy 🇮🇹 good wine, delicious pizza, great service and the tiramisu also delicious with crunchy toasted coffee beans! I highly recommend them!

Medium Average food. Ravioli dolce vita: good dough but the spinach didn't have any taste. Pizza calzone: again very good dough but disappointed by the ingredients. Mushroom didnt taste anything, the cheese also. They served the calzone already cut which is very disappointing too because we can't see the "soufflé" and the pizza inflated, which is the interest of the calzone. However the dough is good and this gives a good potential, if they choose better ingredients specially concerning mushrooms and cheese.

Despite the fact that owner is italian,the food is far from that. It's nice, but not really italian - marinara pizza (photo) has a later of onion - mushroom pasta with truffles does not even smell like one - pasta with buratta is not with buratta but with mozzarella Female waiter was a bit weird abd talked only to me (my husband understands portuguese), but he felt discriminated and not nice They also don't offer you a Parmigiano which is weird for italian place,only if you ask. So you can go to pasta, but not really italian style

Had two very tasty burgers here. Would recommend. Have a good deal in the evening too for burger chips and soft drink for 55 real (I think). Burger does not come with chips otherwise. Great service and waiters and great location on main square

Best pizza I've ever had! Seriously. Get the salmon one and you won't regret it. Beautiful place as well.

Pretty disappointed. Came for lunch, got the tofu sandwich and the filet mignone sandwich, both lacked flavor. Waiter was very nice but when bill came there was a “music fee” and a “tourism fee” for 2 people on top of the usual 10% service. There was only a radio playing and no event going on. When we asked about it the waiter and who I think was manager only took one of the music fees off, it took 3 times to get the bill corrected to what we ordered. I think they assume tourists won’t look at the bill. Just be careful if you go here. We of course paid the 10% service and food bill, but these mysterious fees were strange.

Once in Paraty and looking for brazilian “boteco” food, join this restaurant bar. Try the shimp pastel and the feijoada “cake”. Beside, you MUST try the Jorge Amado Caipinha… can’t describe how amazing is this brazilian native drink. Enjoy!

Good food but very expensive (burger is €10, without fries). Friendly service BUT you pay R$ 10 per person for live music we didn’t even notice was there. First time ever to happen.
