A great morning out best done whilst not in the midday sun as its exceptionally hot, with not too much shade. There are a few strategically placed pagodas to shade you for a spot of much but not much else. If you love roaming round historical site with very little to stop you roaming this is a must for you! All the tombs are magical and just stunning to see. Their former inhabitants would have felt very blessed! I would love to know where they are now? Wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water!

An interesting place full of mysterious corners. It is great that visitors can enter the tombs. At the entrance to each of them, there is a QR code with an explanation in English. I recommend visiting the place in the early evening, when the sun is not so hot, as the area is quite extensive.

Fantastic experience to walk amongst ancient tombs. Surprised at the amount of access and QR codes that provide audio to each tomb's history. Very easy to reach on the 615 bus and plenty of car parking. A good way to spend a few hours and euro2.50 per person is well worth the money. We visited in the morning and by 10.30 the site became very hot although the tombs were cool.

Good but can get a little repetitive. Without much explanation can just become one tomb after another without really communicating the gravitas of the site and the reverence given to the ancient dead. Well worth going and kids will love to explore but 2-3 hours maximum.

This Archaeological site is very big by area and there are lot of tombs. You can have a peaceful walk all around the tombs and you can spend a good 2 to 3 hours if you visit every tomb. I recommend using the qr-codes because you learn way more and know where to look at the ruins. Be prepared that you have to walk a lot and that it may get very hot. I recommend visiting this site as soon as the site is opened for visitors so that you will finish it before noon. The entry fee is 2.5 EUR. There is an option for a guide as well with an extra charge. As there are no shops in or near by , carrying some snacks and water is a must. Overall a good place to visit for history lovers and if you are into ancient things. The toilets and parking outside is free of cost.

Tomb of the Kings is an amazing site to visit, the app you use while walking around is very informative. Very hot to walk around as there is no shade, so take cold drinks with you

€2.50 to enter, once through the gates, you step back into ancient history. These tombs were created 2300 years ago, there or there about just after the death of Alexander The Great and during the time of Cleopatra. Just imagine these Tombs overlooking the blue Mediterranean back then, appreciate the scratches on the inside of the tombs where they chiselled away the rock, how phenomenal an effort it would have been. I had Indiana Jones music playing in my head from start to finish. You cannot go to Paphos and not visit this historical place. With a bit of imagination this place is pure gold.

Amazing place and history very interesting. Not much shelter on very hot days so take plenty of water. Refilling stations for water comes out warm. Definitely worth a visit!

Good hour or two spent walking around and inside the tombs. All outside so remember your sunscreen and water. Watch out for the prickly pear cactus! Lovely sea front walk. Interesting archeological site. Lots of photo opportunities. Nice little ice cream van out in the car park. Plenty of parking space. Toilet facilities were standard. €2.50 each.

This is a fascinating place to visit. You can enter the tombs and enjoy the view by the sea as well. The site is almost magical with the flowers growing around the tombs. The tombs are one of a kind. Cyprus was heavily influenced by several cultures including ancient Greek, Egyptian, Phoenicians and others. The tombs are unique in terms of design and layout.

My journey to the Tombs of the Kings was an incredible experience, as I got to see the fascinating ruins and tours of a place that was once a great city. I truly appreciate the opportunity to discover this archaeological site. Have you been to this amazing place? If not I highly recommend visiting and admiring the beauty of this place. 💛💛💛

Beautiful site and you can have a very good view. PLEASE just do not go on the afternoon. I recommend to go in the early morning (when it open) or in the late late noon almost on the closing time (you can go out even if there's none inside. It was really great

Insanely hot, insanely amazing. To be able to walk through and into these ancient tombs is nothing short of incredible. At 2,300 years old, it’s awesome to be able to walk through, walk into, crawl through and pass from tomb to tomb. This is an absolute must if you’re visiting the region. Our kids loved it and we did too, go early or late during summer as it’s warm. Plus you can’t access the beach afterwards, you need to go back to the entrance and round again.

We’ve been to the archeological park next to Paphos harbour. We visited this site in the beginning of september 2021. We’ve paid 2,5euro to enter the park. Once in the park you can visit the old structures which is facinating. Some of the structures are not fully uncovered yet. So if you are lucky like we were you can see some archeologists digging up. Overall it was a nice place to visit. One of the downsides is that not every building is dug up and that there is no information whatshowever on the buildings. The buildings that are dug up are really nice to see.

Amazing place for everyone interested in ancient times and history (and not only). You need to use your imagination to see how extraordinary was it many years ago. The affordable price of tickets. I recommend reserving about two hours to explore all monuments.

Wonderful insight into history. Unbelievable how things have preserved. Few nice places out the direct sunlight and the sea breeze very welcome and stunning views of the area . €4.50 per adult and kids free = cheap few hours 👍.

The key landmark of Paphos, in my opinion. Excellently presented ruins and well-kept surrounding area. Look out for the many small details, such as the small piece of preserved mosaics in the main area. I’d give the park at least 2 hours, it’s well-worth the time.

Very nice place, there is ruin of ancient mosiacs, a lighthouse, small amphitheater, ruins of the roman forum. Pay attention that the site is an open site so be ready with water and hat. Students are enter free

Good way to get sunburn. Most of it is out in the sun. ♨️☀️ Mosaics are nice, but there is nothing else to see. Not worth 4.5 euros. No audio guide, no water available, very nasty toilet...just a wasteland

Entry is €2.50 per person, and it’s worth it for the views, and to look inside the castle. There’s a display on marine litter once you’re inside, and some information on the conservation of wildlife and the environment of Cyprus. Sadly there is nothing to tell you any history of the castle or the area, and you can’t access most of the interesting areas, cells, or the absolute top of the castle. For the fee it’s worth visiting.

Best enjoyed from the outside. There's a decent view from the top, but it wasn't worth the 2.50 entry fee. Inside the 'castle' is a small art exhibition and stairs to the rooftop, but there's not a great deal of interest. Fror the same price, you can visit The Tombs of the Kings, which is stunning in comparison.

I had expected something more from this. If you want to see a castle with a capital C, come to Slovakia. This is something that was left from a castle and functions as a tiny little gallery which offers a nice view of the surrounding area from the top of the building. The ticket cost was 2,5€. I really feel like they shouldn't ask you for any money to enter this place.

A fort rather than a castle, not much to see but it is quite well preserved, the views are nice and it was really quiet when we went. Quite a bit of explanation on the interactive screen by the entrance which was nice.

Worth a visit, not actually too much inside but the architecture is beautiful and there is a nice view from the roof plus some decent explanations of the history

Best enjoyed from the outside. It wasn't worth the €2.50 entry fee. Inside are stairs to the rooftop, but there's not a lot to see. Don't waste your money and get a beer from the many local Taverns instead.

Very cute little castle at Paphos Harbour. It is €2.50 entry to look around which is located inside. They offer cash or card payments. There are information board inside explaing the building and how it was used. Views upstairs are beautiful across the bay and harbour.

Lovely day. 2 adults 2 kids. Really warm but lots of places to buy water. Lemurs were 5euro pp to go in and feed them Elephant was 50euros for all of us TAKE CASH, as most of the zoo is cordless. We did use our card in the big restaurant near the bird show. Leave yourself a wee 20 min to look at the museum rooms on the way to the exit. We would definitely go back.

A truly mesmerizing experience at Pafos Zoo! Booking tickets a day in advance and opting for transportation via the special zoo bus made everything smooth. We were particularly captivated by the parrot show and the extensive collection of reptiles, not to mention the majestic lions, tigers, and the elephant. The cleanliness of the place stood out, and it's evident that the well-being of the animals is a priority. Highly recommend!

I think this is the place to go in Pafos for a lovely family outing! My four year old loved feeding the koi fish, but he was blown away by feeding the giraffe! He also wanted to return to the generously sized playground several times. The bird show at noon was pretty neat but a bit overhyped. My little guy was happy though! We spent 3.5 hours there and I felt like that was perfect. Free parking was a plus too!

An amazing zoo with some VERY well priced experiences - We paid €10 each to feed the elephant and €5 each to feed the lemurs. The animals are obviously loved and well looked after by the staff - Special thanks to Jo and Helen!. We paid a little extra for collection from our hotel and ate in the restaurant. All in all a highly recommended day out.

Awesome Zoo. Animals appear to be very happy and well looked after. Loads to see and spent the whole day. Lions 🦁, Tigers🐯, Elephant 🐘, Hyenas 🐕 and snakes 🐍 where my personal favourites. Free indoor parrot 🦜 show was a nice added extra. We also paid for an elephant experience and fed. Restaurant on site was also really nice. Plenty of toilets and refreshment stops around the site.

Fantastic place! Mostly birds but there's tigers, lions and all sorts. Unfortunately we didn't get to see the sun bear as he stayed inside the entire time but everything else was great. Good trip, not too expensive, saw lots of cute animals

This is a small zoo but it offers some great experiences. It was inexpensive for a day out, we went to the bird show, fed the fish and goats. We also paid to hand feed the giraffe which is a great photo opportunity. We paid additional to spend time with the Elephant which was a little more expensive but well worth it. Also a big shout out to the staff at all stations who were very informative and friendly but the lady at the lemurs was amazing introducing us to them all and showing us how to handle them. Myself and my daughter had an amazing day also ice crams and snacks were all well priced

Booked through a TUI excursion whilst on our holiday. Easy and cheap tickets. Transfer was included, however ours had said to be running late so the zoo sent staff to pick us up in a car which got us there in good time so this was really nice. The zoo was not busy at all so it was really nice to look around easily however it was hot so I did not see all the animals. Most of the zoo was cash only so bring cash. Staff working in the shops were English and writing around the whole zoo was based on English. Feeding the lemurs was the best and so cheap compared to home, only €5 each. They also had a park and souvenir shop. Transfer picks you back up outside the entrance and takes you back to your hotel. I would recommend this excursion and the visit to this zoo.

What can I say, we had a lovely couple of hours here at Paphos zoo. We got picked up by the free zoo bus opposite coral beach. The easiest way from Paphos is to catch the 615 bus from the harbour or anywhere along the route and it takes you straight to the bus stop you need to get on for the zoo. You also can book pick-up from some hotels. The coral beach pick up were at 10.30 11.30 and 1.30 and returning ones are at 20 past the hour. The zoo itself was a 17.50 euros by card or cash each for adults. The animals look well looked after and there are lots of them to see. Once you are in the zoo every is cash there is a cash machine outside. You can feed the lemurs for 5 euros each and it is so worth doing. The elephant was 50 euros for a group up to 5 people. We love animals and I understand that some people were not happy with the size of some of the enclosures but all we saw was a nice zoo with well looked after animals. Definitely worth a visit. Plenty of parking, toilets and places to get a drink. You can pre-book your ticket but you still have to queue to get your tickets printed.

Visited last week during our holiday to Cyprus. Very impressive variety of birds, animals and reptiles to see. Don't think we've ever seen so many different snakes in one place before and pretty sure there's not one species of bird that wasn't there somewhere 😂 Great interactions with the animals available (we did the lemurs which was great fun and only €5). Restaurant looked good although we didn't use it. Nicely laid out so you're not walking too far between animals. Overall, great day out, would recommend

Took the family here and it was great... not a massive place so need for 2 day optional pass... locker was €5 and everybody got a wrist band so you can purchase food and drink at any time and scan bar code on wristband and you settle on way out. If you stay til the end theirs a bit of a wait as everybody has to hand in bands which have to scanned.... lots to keep the kids entertained and lots of life guards and staff... definitely worth a trip..

Beautiful place to spend the day, especially with your kid. Everything is nicely designed, food options are great, nice shade beneath the olive trees....We will definitely come back.

We enjoyed visiting there, twice. A lot of attractions for different levels of adrenaline - from zero to 100%. The staff is friendly and and calm. The waiting lines are short, except for the "volcano". The food is very expensive. Very convenient to bring kids. However - kids can buy the food with bracelets, and you should instrct them to be careful with that.

Fantastic day at the water park. Slides were awesome and although some of the queue’s were long, the wait wasn’t too bad. We bought our tickets online and saved 10%. Online tickets are open and can be used on any day. The 611 bus stops right outside. The floor was roasting so we all bought their special pool socks. These were a waste of money! I would recommend having pool shoes on! Food and drink is a bit more expensive than you’d expect in the local bars and restaurants, and the quality of the food was average!! I would definitely recommend a visit here. We all felt this was the best day of our holiday so far!

Amazing! Small but certainly not lacking. It was brilliant I particularly liked the canon ball and my daughter who is 7 couldn’t get enough of the big slides. Even the kiddie pool had a good slide selection which was thrilling for my 5 year old son. Would definitely recommend for families with younger kids.

We absolutely loved our day out at Aphrodite Water Park. There was no long queue to get in as we had bought our bands at our resort hotel. There was no scramble for somewhere to sit either, as there is an abundance of sunloungers. The whole Park is kept immaculate. A very good variety of slides & rides for all ages. If holidaying in this area of Cyprus, a trip to here is a must .

The slides we amazing especially cannon ball, really enjoyed our day there and the transfer from our hotel was a breeze and very well organised for meeting points and times! Will definitely return here.

Pretty reasonable entry price. Food seems slightly expensive but not extortionate. Lots of sunbeds. Great variety of slides and pools for all ages. All the staff, without exception, were incredibly helpful and professional. All staff working hard to make sure everyone has an enjoyable day. My 7 year old son's quote was My best birthday so far.

Water park is fine but very kind and helpful marketing team with full support is awesome! They helped with online discount on the spot, found lost band watch and were available non stop for help. Thank you!

A full fun day with the kids, safe and lots of things to do here. You can easily spend 4 to 5 hours without getting bored. A must try if you are in paphos with kids.

Kids had a great time! Take socks as paths are hot to walk on. Cab buy them for€4 each when there. Says you can't take your own food or drinks, but lots do, at least take a bottle of water! 4 cans of pop €14. But each seating area is really well thought out, have a walk around and find some small grassed areas under The slides. They are lovely and private. Also, keep an eye out for golden tickets, which are randomly stuck onto railings and signs and bag yourself a free ice cream, beer or soft drink! We found 2! Good fun though. Worth a visit

The food we were served was the best value for money in the area. A good selection of traditional English dishes and local dishes with a dessert menu to die for. I would highly recommend a visit for well priced food and excellent staff service.

Delicious food, friendly service, good prices. Definitely recommend! ☺️ We visited this place multiple times in a few days and on the last day we chatted with the waiter a little bit and told him it was our last dinner in Cyprus before going home the next morning. After we finished and I asked for the bill, the waiter served us 2 cups of delicious hot chocolate to say goodbye and told us to have a nice trip back home. All of the food we ate were large portions and tasted really good. The waiters were funny, inquiring, and respectful. One of the best places to eat great food at a great price.

Nice place to go for breakfast. Ordered a diet coke, orange juice, tea for two, bottle of water, poached egg on toast, 2 english breakfasts all for only €30. Its nice to sit outside and watch the world go by.

Of course we had to go back and visit here. We had a drink only but have eaten here many times in the past with family. It's really clean and the owner who speaks English is just lovely and friendly. Absolutely worth a visit if only for the retro interiors. I love this place and it's twin place in town.

Great place for breakfast, lots of choices mostly English. Staff were super friendly and efficient. Coffee was great and the back bacon was so good. Served with a choice of sauces.

Old fashion english tea house style place. There is a large varity of traditional english dishes, international food and favulous desserts. They have a special menu for people with allergies and food intolerances. The food is very good and the desserts are the best we had in a very long time. The waiters were very nice and turn on the airconditioner for us. Higly recomended!

The waitress seemed a bit annoyed. I ordered a banana split, received some banana ice cream with a few slices of cut banana and wiped cream - which isn't exactly what I imagined but it was nice and cheap. Overall a nicely decorated place, with a good selection of English breakfast and food.

Chicken Kebab is a 5/10 positive: looks beautiful Negatives: Unfortunately, I did not get my fill. The portion is too small. Only 3 halved potatoes 2 thin skewers and otherwise only vegetables. The skewers were very dry and little to no seasoning. But very nice staff! I found that you pay more for the beautiful view of the food and for the notoriety of the restaurant.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful evening at the windmill tonight. Nancy was simply lovely and found us a table even though we hadn’t booked (highly recommend reserving a table it’s worth it). All staff were very attentive and helpful and the food was next level, outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful evening would highly recommend to anyone that enjoys good food and great service 💕

Amazing place, best restaurant we ate at in Cyprus. We ordered the vegan meze which were absolutely delightful. There was a selection of around 10 different meze which were all original and delicious. The portion is indicated for a minimum of 2 people and costs 40€ but we shared it between 3 people and it was plenty. Only note is that the price was unclear in the menu, which indicated the price as 20€ for 2 people, when it was actually 20€ x 2 people = 40€. Nevertheless, 40€ was a fair price for the quality and quantity of food that comes in the vegan meze. There was such a great variety of dishes than I can’t recall most of them. I do remember a green salad with vegan feta, vegan tzatziki, an aubergine dish, cous cous and more. The standout meze for me were definitely the fava bean dip with caramelised onions and the ‘chic’en cauliflower wings. Also good to keep in mind they keep bringing meze to your table as you’re eating, which is great so that you can try things a bit at a time and have them warm. I have to mention the bread because it was super soft, warm, toasted in olive oil and sprinkled with zaatar on top, truly heavenly. Lastly, we ordered vegan baklava and vegan chocolate cake for dessert, both of which were divine. The baklava was warm which was unexpected but still worked, and it came with strawberry ice cream which was also excellent. They even had vegan apple pie which I imagine would’ve been just as good. Compared to other restaurants in Cyprus this one was far superior and an absolute must if you’re in the Paphos area, wish I could’ve gone back a second time.

Gorgeous restaurant with the friendliest staff. The food is delicious, we had the meze for 2 and it was huge and so tasty! We even got given a family recipe to try cook ourselves. Definitely worth a visit.

What a place. Don't waste your time eating at the harbour when you can go here for dinner. Charlie and Nancy are great, very friendly welcoming people, food is incredible and I guarantee you'll leave this place feeling happy and full. Eaten here twice this week alone, hence the review. Love these guys.

The food was the best we’ve tried during our stay in Paphos! The staff at The Windmill is also super friendly. We came here four times - and we would come back again!

A beautiful meal. Cannot fault anything. The candles were lit, the atmosphere was great, service was fantastic, and food was great. We were given a free taster consisting of lentils which was lovely. When I commented how nice it was the waitress brought me the recipe, a lovely touch. Just cooked it at home in England and it feels and smells like a memory of that night. Thanks again the windmill. Will definitely be visiting again when next in paphos.

Very hard to find a restaurant where the tzaziki really tasts intensive. Also it was not selve made it like in so many restaurants. Very sad because people come to Cypris because of that amazing dish/starter. Overall the service was good and also the ambience was nice. Cosy little restaurant. However better ones are many around.

Great place to come with friends or family. We celebrated my daughter's birthday there. The personnel was very friendly and cooperative. We had a very good time and party. Very good show. Girls are amazing. Restaurant always very busy in the evening. Reservation highly recommended.

All I can say is its a brilliant all around night. Everyone works hard at their job with enthusiasm and it's a pleasure to experience. Food is top drawer, service excellent and the entertainment is just enough that it's enjoyable but doesn't get on your nerves. Went there twice and loved both times. Ribs highly rated. An excellent choice for an evening meal. You can book a table if you want to dine before 7pm and they have special offers of 2 for 1 on cocktails, mocktails some beers and soft drinks and also a 10% discount off your bill if you pay in cash. If you don’t book and turn up after 7pm you just have to wait to be seated. This is a very popular restaurant so you may have a wait. The food portion sizes here are VERY generous so come hungry and you might want to skip the starters 🤣🤣 This isn’t the cheapest dining option but it is very very good. There is also entertainment while you eat in the form of 3 dancers who perform dance routines to a number of different songs and who also make announcements for people celebrating special occasions and they usually get a free drink or small bottle of fizz. For the smaller children Fat Mama and Cowboy Willy also make an appearance and children are invited to go and have their photo taken.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. Food is beautiful, plenty of it and the staff are 2nd to none. Good for adults and children. Well worth a visit and excellent value for money.

Great place for fried seafood. No reservation needed. We arrived around 6:30pm and there was many empty tables however when we left it was super busy. Food was tasty and the portions are big. Friendly staff too. Easily accessible. Only downside is that the outdoor seating area is filled with many cats trying to eat your food. One was even trying to get on the table.

Came here as a group of 8 with no booking and got seated. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share (two portions of each as we split the sharing into two groups). The courgette (zucchini) fries, creamy prawns and muscles were very good and I recommend getting them! We thought the small fried fish would be more crispy. The seafood platter was good, the prawns came served over a bed of rice. The fish was quite dry. Overall a very filling meal and satisfied diners.

I love ocean basket! Such a good place for seafood 🦞 and sushi 🍣 I love their outdoor seating, the service is fast and the waiters are super quick and efficient. I love their fish and ships, their seafood platter and sushi. Always a lovely place to visit while in Cyprus 🇨🇾 ❤️

A fish lover place !!!👍We ordered a ocean platter and prawns special and it was too good for two of us. We were served with few bread slices as starter and it was good, the sides were mayo,butter and spicy green chilli mix with vinegar 😋. They do have sushi's which we realized midway. Next time !!! Staffs are great - 4.5 rating Ambience- 4.5 rating ( option to sit inside and out) it was too windy and cold , so choose to sit in. Covid safe - 5 rating ( good distancing between the tables) Capacity- 50 to 65 ppl

A staple of any of my visits back home. We usually go for the big deck platter (which is excellent) but this time we got the smaller, 2 person platter. It was great, love seafood, the rice mixed with their garlic butter sauce is just so good! We also got some sushi which is way over the top, a family favourite. Quick to sit us down and bring the food.

I had lunch with a friend here. The concept makes sense and service was ok. The food was very disappointing: Chips were unfreeze and not crunchy; vegetables were under cooked; seasoning poor; seafood and fish was unimpressive. The fish was fresh. Overall, prices are good but I would rather have a proper meal for a bit more. Not worth a second visit.

We absolutely loved our entire experience at the Ocean Basket tonight. The food was phenomenal, absolutely spectacular, freshly prepared and SO delicious!!! We had grilled octopus and fried courgette sticks to start with and the famous fish and chips and shrimps and calamari for our main dishes. Absolutely delicious!!!! Our waiter for the evening Amir, was knowledgeable and made crucial recommendations that made our experience so much better. He has recommended the rainbow frozen smoothie and that was a true delight, as well as he recomended to have the calamari grilled instead of fried and that was SUCH a great recommendation. He was SO great and helpful. We will definitely be coming back!!!

We got a coupon for a "Spring Special" (shrimp and calamari heads, with fries and rice) from somewhere in town for 9.90€. It was delicious. Large portions, friendly staff. The food is not as much fish-like tasting as it is savory and fatty. To me it is comfort food but in a good way. Very delicious, would come again!

Being Muslim, it’s been a struggle trying to find halal food so when we found this place we were thrilled. The food was amazing and very reasonable priced, we especially loved the mixed tandoori and prawn puri. It was also presented beautifully. However, what really made the meal so memorable was how warm and welcoming the staff were. The service was truly exceptional and I would recommend to anyone in the area!

Delicious food and amazing experience! Everyone enjoyed their meals. Food was spicy but you have to expect this from Indian restaurant. Waiters were really friendly and helpful! 10/10!

Sofia and Kira were amazing! The food and service was perfect, I only eat halal so this was the perfect place especially as I was craving Indian food!

Absolutely delicious food as spicy or mild as you want, lots of fresh herbs and every dish was beautifully cooked. The staff were helpful and the owner is a lovely chatty lady. Highly recommend for an excellent meal. Aircon indoors or you can dine outdoors like we did.

Highly recommended. We loved all the food we had: chicken biryani, special chef chicken curry, chicken tandoori and appetiser in the picture. Good service as well. Indoor and outdoor seating available. You can park your car on the side of the road.

Honest review: The food is alright, It was also quiet. It was a bit pricey. But not too pricey. I think the lady who is probably the manager is a bit rude but she doesn’t notice it. Some things she was saying was quite rude but we didn’t say anything. Although she was really helpful. Nothing bad to say about this restaurant, but I did go across the road to Delhi gate which I think personally was better.
