Padua

The walled city of Padua is one of the most historically and artistically significant cities in Italy. Padua is known as the birthplace of the great physicist Galileo Galilei. Today, it remains a major industrial city, a busy university town, and an important place of pilgrimage. Padua's most famous landmark is the Basilica di Sant'Antonio., which contains the tomb of Saint Anthony of Padua, the patron saint of the city and of lost objects.
