The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum honors the 168 people killed in the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, as well as all those affected by the tragedy. The outdoor memorial features the Gates of Time and Field of Empty Chairs, while the museum offers a number of exhibits about the bombing.

Sad place to visit, but we wanted to pay our respects to those who were lost here. The grounds are beautiful considering what happened here, the reflecting pond relaxes your tension with gentle draining water sounds as you stroll around reading posted signs telling you what everything symbolizes. Didn't have a chance this time to visit the museum but I'm sure it's comforting to those who lived through this terrible event. Prayers to all.
To the guard on duty late 8.6.22, thank you for making us feel welcome and safe when we happened upon the memorial at 1030pm. We are from Texas and in town for just tonight. We drove by and got out to take a picture of the fence of tributes. You invited us into the memorial grounds and gave us wonderful information that made our visit more meaningful. My 8 yo daughter was completely captivated by the memorial and wanted to read every name on every chair and read into whom the victims might have been and their relations to each other. This was an experience we will never forget. We will keep all of the victims and loved ones in our prayers always.
If you’re in Oklahoma City than you need to come to the memorial. This memorial does an incredible job of honoring the victims of the attack and the heroic first responders. Definitely prepare yourself mentally because it is quite a bit to take in at once if you’re not expecting it. I spent about three hours in total at the museum so give yourself enough time to see everything. The presentations and recorded interviews are absolutely incredible and are extremely informative and captivating. There’s a big section on the arrest and prosecution of Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols which I easily could have spent more time looking at. Everything is so well put together and all the staff are extremely informative and will answer any questions you have. 10/10!
My wife and I are taking a cross country road trip and spent an evening in Oklahoma City. While in town, we visited the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum. The museum is well done with many exhibits that teach about the horrible event, the people whose lives were taken, and the response of the people of Oklahoma City. While it is difficult to relive these sorrowful events, it is also good to be reminded that these events do not define nor destroy us. There was a school group that was going through the museum at the time we visited. Truthfully, some of them didn't "get it" and were rather cavalier in their attitude. But some did understand the significance, and even for those who did not, it is good that the seeds of understanding are planted. Perhaps someday they may fully recognize the solemn day for what it was. Following our visit to the museum, we went outside to see the memorial. Where the building once stood, a beautiful pool of reflection now exists, bordered by two large walls with times 9:01 and 9:03 inscribed. Those times represent the moments before and after the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Building. A field of empty chairs sit adjacent to the pool, representing those who were killed in the bombing. The memorial is a beautiful but somber reminder of the tragic day, but also of the strength and determination of the human spirit.
Everybody goes during the day and it's absolutely beautiful during the day. I have also been in the daytime and love it I go to the marathon and compete. I happen to be in downtown and wanted to see it at night. There is a security guard so you don't feel unsafe. He was a very nice man. To see this place at night with the chairs lit was a whole nother experience unto itself. It was so quiet and peaceful you could just hear the reflection pulled trickling. The remembrance wall with the saying in the times are lit. It was a good time to just go and not have a lot of people. Where you could reflect pray for those people and their family look at the memory wall and just have your moment.
June 6, 2017: I arrived about 1:00pm. No car or foot traffic at all. I was overwhelmed with the monument. I remember the day the bombing occurred, seeing half of the building gone. Being here gave me a different perspective especially reading the names of those who perished and seeing the remains of the bldg. The artist(s) who created this monument did a magnificent tribute. All the chairs, small and large, the reflecting pool, the remaining tree. It was breathtaking; it was peaceful. A must stop anytime you are even close. Pictures do not do it justice.
So beautiful! Love the survivor tree. Videos and pictures throughout the site. If you want to go through the museum you can but there is a charge for that. If you want to see just the area of the bombing, it is free. Make sure you see the statue of Jesus across the street also.
This museum was amazing and they do a great job of telling the story of the day of and the days following. While the museum was extremely informative, the real star was the memorial itself. This was probably the most beautiful memorial I have been to in the U.S. Both the simplicity and complexity behind the meaning of it all is incredibly moving. I don't want to write a novel about all the symbology, but definitely pick up a brochure and read for yourself!
A beautiful memorial in the heart of Oklahoma City. This memorial plays an amazing role in keeping the memories of those lost, as well as those affected by the events, alive. It is so well thought out. Walk outside the memorial to find the chain link fence and spend some time reading notes to lost loved ones. Pay attention to the black painted brick on the museum which shows where windows were blown out and fresh brick in the building. These unique features all add to the magnitude of the true memorial area. I would say parking was ample, but for whatever reason...hard to find (more so know the cost and if it was public parking or not). Don't get me wrong, there is PLENTY of parking in the area. We did not tour the museum, but I wish we would've. We did enter the museum to see the gift shop and use the restroom. I'd rank this as a "must see" memorial.
Incredibly detailed account on that very tragic and unforgettable day in April 1995. I remember listening to the radio while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, on this fateful day. The visit to the memorial brought back so many memories. It goes beyond comprehension how much evil McVeigh and Nichols had to plan for the extermination of potentially far more than the 168 lives they took. Thank you to the precious staff of the memorial for doing such a blessed job at being so compassionate and empathetic to all those families that lost loved ones so prematurely not so many years ago.
Visiting the memorial is a visceral experience. We decided to buy museum tickets at 4:15, thinking it would be plenty of time to finish by 6 PM close. We were quite rushed toward the end. The video footage, interviews with survivors, and items on display that were collected both as evidence and as momentos from survivors and rescuers are incredible. Plan to spend another 30-60 minutes outside, walking around the reflecting pool and contemplating Survivor Tree. We also made the decision to return after dark to view the memorial lit up at night. It is serene and even more beautiful. Very safe to walk around, as well. Highly recommend.
The memorial was beautiful and the park rangers Dan and Cody were very helpful. I loved that the reflection pond was moving and made noise. I was not impressed with the museum though. The museum is "affiliated" with the National Parks Service but they don't take the NPS Annual Pass. The museum was very claustrophobic and there was no easy way to bail. I was locked in the "recording room" where they played a tape where the bomb exploded but then lights flashed and there was no warning and no way to get out. The rangers were great though so because this listing combines the memorial and the museum this is more about the museum.
They did a wonderful job on this memorial and museum. Lots of artifacts and videos throughout the 2 floors of the museum. People working there are very friendly. All throughout it is Handicapped accessible. Beautiful water Area with trees and grass for the Monument. See pics
The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum is a very powerful and well done monument to the Oklahoma City Federal Building bombing on April 19th, 1995. In my opinion it is best to start in the museum, which features several videos, displays, witness testimonials, and even items and parts of the building that survived the explosion. I found the saddest part was the Gallery of Honor, which features photos of the victims with items that their families donated that speak to who they are as real people. The outdoor memorial makes more sense after you've toured the museum because it puts the memorial into context. It is very beautiful but sad. The staff are all very nice and helpful, both in the museum and at the memorial.
Very emotional. The museum is very graphic and it depicted the scenes very well. I was emotionally sick to my stomach reading everything and seeing so many lives cut short and families depleted. It is amazing how much the community and country rallied together to rebuild. The memorial outside waa peaceful and serene.

I really liked it. It's huge. We walked around and looked at the exhibits and the pictures on the wall. There are several displays. They are very well done. I highly recommend going. We stayed several hours in the museum.
We stopped here because I remember seeing "End of the Trail" about 48 years ago as a kid. This powerful statue left me in awe & I wanted my wife & grandchild to see it as well. We went in at opening time of 10am. I was struck by the size & scope of the museum's displays. WOW!! There is truly something for everyone on display. The staff was out of this world. Full of knowledge & happy to be of help. If you tour with one of their guides you will not be disappointed. I plan on visiting again the next time we get to Oklahoma City.
It was an absolutely fantastic experience! We had "an hour to kill," ended up spending 2.5 hours at the museum, and needed at least another few hours to see everything. The displays and exhibitions are well thought out, descriptive, and looked after! We loved the museum and would definitely recommend a visit.
I was pleasantly surprised how diverse this place is. I loved the 2023 Prix the West exhibit - so many folk artists had a chance to show their beautiful art. The building is beautiful, too, very spacious and interesting. Remember to see all the outside spaces, too. The gift store had a great choice of handmade items available. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Wow! The outdoor reenactment is very well done. The cowboy gallery and rodeo exhibit were so fascinating. Love the different multimedia making learning and browsing so entertaining. Lots of interesting American Indian history that occupied all over US, not just local tribes. We rushed through in 2 hours but could easily spend another 2.
Absolutely amazing. There is such an astounding collection of art and historical artifacts, it will take the better part of a day to work your way through everything. I like how the exhibits are broken down into sections which make easier to take it all in. I especially enjoyed "the town". An entire indoor town is genius. I also enjoyed the movie memorabilia section. Very well done! This is probably one of the best museums I have ever been too. If you love cowboy culture and the old west, this place is a must!
We had such a fun time at this museum!! Free parking, no wait time, and only $15 admission; I definitely recommend setting aside an entire morning or afternoon if you want to get the whole experience. I think we spend about 3 hours walking around the art galleries. So much beautiful artwork and history to see and learn about- I loved how there were also exhibits outside (see pictures of the waterfall below.) The gift shop has a huge variety of souvenirs to choose from too!
Had a fun family day here. It was a 2 hour drive for us but it was worth it. I was really impressed with everything and was surprised at just how large this museum is. It wasn't crowded at all which is nice. I highly recommend checking this museum out.
What a great place to experience cowboy and western heritage. The completeness and thoroughness of this museum is astounding. I only spend a couple of hours and rushed through the various areas of the museum. Everything I saw was done exceptionally well. If you are in the area, this is a must see place. Don’t expect to see the whole place in one visit, there are just too many areas with so many details that it would too ambitious to see it all. I have a much better understanding and respect for cowboy life after my visit.
I highly recommend this. Great for the family. Kids loved it. If you’ve ever traveled abroad to learn culture and see ancient ruins, you’ll love learning about the culture right here. We were impressed with the Prix de West art collection. And we’re not art connoisseurs. The kids loved Prosperity Junction which immersed us in another era. Definitely try the sarsaparilla at the saloon and learn about the cowboy job. Outside, tour the different types of indigenous Indian homes. You’ll spend about 2-3 hrs here and take about 20 pictures.
Large quantities of memorabilia and exhibits. Clean facilities. Wonderfully helpful staff. Well worth the admission price. They also allow for several different discounts on admission. Very educational for the whole family!
I really enjoyed my visit to the National cowboy and western heritage museum! The museum has a wide variety of collections and throughout the museum, I was offered guidance by the volunteers. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful!! The garden was closed today due to weather but they were so nice and offered me one complimentary ticket to come back later this week to see the gardens! 🥺 definitely recommend this museum to everyone visiting OKC!!
So amazing! Literally soooo amazing! One of the best museums I’ve been to. So much to see. I want to go back so I can see the rest. Just too much for one trip, but loved it all and can’t wait to return. Great gift shop too.

One of my favorite zoo's to visit. Lots of variety of animals. Lots of trees for shade. Plenty of benches for sitting when gets tired. The tram is handy for getting around and inexpensive. Handicapped accessible. Great activities for adults and kids.
We went on the first nice Saturday of the spring and it was super crowded. The overflow parking was across the street at the racetrack. Other than the long walk to and from the car, once inside, it wasn't bad. With all of the new expansions, the exhibits were all comfortable to get around. It was the first time I had been to the zoo in close to 10 years. It is certainly not the same as when I was a kid. The new elephant area is huge and all the animals have so much room to roam around. No more little cages for any of the animals. The Asia experience is beautiful and I can't wait to go back when the Africa section is also complete. That being said, with all of the updates the cost has also increased quite a bit. I believe that you can still bring a picnic lunch inside as well as your own snacks. We ate at the Cafe by the sting rays and for 3 kid drinks, fries, a hamburger, and chicken strips it was almost $50! 🤯 Wear comfortable shoes, because you will be walking a lot!
Daughters first time there, and she loved it. Haven't been in years and a lot has changed and been added. Staff was friendly and the zoo was surprisingly clean with as many people that were there. You have to get there early for a good parking spot though, otherwise you are parking across the street at the casino or if you're lucky, next door at the science museum. Military discount is great!
Most of the zoo is under construction currently. It would be nice if tickets were discounted since a good portion (pushing half or more) is under construction. But it's still a lot of fun! Some things were still left from the dino exhibit. The zoo is huge, give it at least 3 hours. Lots to see. Bring quarters (feeding ducks, turtles, fish), $1 and pennies (smashing), $5s (wax molds!) and then however you're going to pay for food. There should be exhibit signs for the construction. For the workers, the machines, what's going on. Kids like construction, too, and adults are curious. I would love to see signs about who is working, what they like, how the machines work and facts about them. How the company hired is contributing to making a better planet. They're missing a perfect chance to teach.
It was a great school trip. The zoo is doing remodeling so there was a lot of construction that was going on. The animals that were there were awesome to see. The kids and everyone there had a great time, and can't wait to see what new exhibits will come. The zoo was also setting up the lights for Halloween, which was really cool to see as well.
With a whole new exhibit being constructed and the aquatic area slated for a full makeover there is a lot of work being done around the zoo. It made it feel very run down. Most exhibits were closed or empty. Some were just full of debris. Then, the exhibits that were open were overly crowded with unattended field trippers. The kids were so disappointed with the animal situation that they spent most of their time playing on the jungle gyms. For a Zoo actively pushing to be voted “Best Zoo in the Nation” it has a long way to go. That being said, the updates being made are very nice. When it’s all done I’m sure it’ll be fantastic. Until then though it just seems like a waste. We basically spent $100 for our kids to go to the playground.
Zoo experience was great. Every animals, and birds have enough space for themselves. They were properly labeled with their features or characteristics which is enough to distinguish them. There are separate sections for snakes, water creatures, asian animals, cats (lion) and many more. Special section is bear, they are real entertainers. New wing is currently under construction which will involve new animals or scenery to the zoo beauty. It has train service ($9-10/ person), if anyone wants to use. Food and water outlets inside as well. Kids live to spend time with their families. It will take minimum 5 hours to maximum 7 hours to see and enjoy whole zoo.
The zoo has made many changes since I was last there, 13 years ago. I decided to take my 19 year old son with me. We had a blast! Unfortunately we did not get to see all the animals because it was hot and they go inside, but that is expected. Either way, it was worth it! We took many photos and videos. Even stopped to ride the carousel. Just remember to be courteous to the animals and don't let little ones bang on their glass, it stresses them out more. Don't forgot to stop in the little shop they have by the night exhibit, it's quant and has many goodies inside (I'd recommend going that direction last, or else you'll be carrying everything throughout the day.)
I'd recommend to take the mini train for a ride in the first place and save some energy for the animals you and your family love. The park is worth for at least two days visit. But the legwork was a bit exhausting. Bring your own food. The park's food is not bad but might be a little pricey than average.
Place is under construction in a lot of spots, but it says that on the website so you should know ahead of time. Love the giant pride flags they have out during pride month, makes me feel very validated! The animals are very interesting and well taken care of. I've been going here every few years since I was a toddler and will be coming here more in the future. <3
I love our zoo! I can wait for the new exhibits to be done (should be soon)! We are moving up in the world. This is a great place for kids with multiple playgrounds, rest areas, and a waterfall with stream the kids can play in!
My kiddos and I came during the week the OKC Zoo was having free admission. It wasn't very crowded at all since a lot of schools started this week. What I was really impressed with was the amount of restroom stops they provided as well as cooling stations. I was so glad to see a lot of staff around as well, and they were all so nice. It was a pretty awesome visit despite how hot it was!
We had a blast! We really enjoyed how the animals were active for the most part, and how each area was so accurate to the regions that each animal was from. I wish we knew that the feeding zoo cost to enter so we could've been better prepared... Other than that we had a great time and all of the zoo employees were very friendly helpful and professional! Will be going back after the African exhibit is done!

I took my 12 year old foster son here and would have gotten much more out of the experience had he been willing to take more time so we could read the accompanying information in each exhibit. The collection is amazing in its size and a lot of thought has been put into the design of each exhibit. I hope to return some day with my physical therapist wife who I know will want to spend hours digesting all the information presented.
This place was fantastic. When we knew we were going to be in OKC, this was our number one family destination choice and it didn't disappoint. All of our kids, from the four year old to the fifteen year old loved it and found things to grab their interest and attention. The displays are exceptional and well marked with descriptions. We spent about two hours and definitely didn't take it all in fully. Definitely recommend!!!
This is a charming off the road museum that is well worth the visit. The handsome guy at the front desk (😉) was super nice and gave us plenty of information to guide us through the exhibits. We unfortunately didn’t get to meet Mr Indiana Bones, but completely understand as to why he had taken a few days off work. If you’re considering a visit then hesitate no more. You won’t regret it!
We came across this on the map when we were looking for a motel on our way to CA. It was so cool! Very well done, clean & educational. The earlier the better, it gets a little warm when there’s a crowd. The gift shop is pretty cool too and the museum staff seem to enjoy what they do. Would definitely come back if we’re in the area again.
Really wonderful museum!!! At first glance, it looks small, but once you enter, it is packed with all sorts of wonderful bones!! It was really interesting to walk around in. Best part is that almost all of the bones are 100% real! Truly fascinating, highly recommend.
It was even more fun than we expected. It was great for kids. We spent about 2 hrs and took about 15 pictures. We learned a lot. One kid was surprised about Hydrocephalus and we talked about how technology could help the human and animal shown there. There was an exhibit showing how bad oral hygiene affected the test and jaws.
I'm a 27 year old, and I had a ton of fun here. Being able to see all of the different animal skeletons was incredibly fascinating and informative. The skeletons you could touch provide a unique hands-on experience too. The crossword you can do throughout your time there just adds to the fun. I could only imagine how a kid would feel here. This is definitely worth checking out if you're in the OKC area.
Ny two children & myself spent about 2.5 hrs at the "Bone Museum". My youngest is 7 & my oldest is 16. There was lots of really neat stuff & information. Both of my children really enjoyed looking and touching all the neat stuff they have. Majority of their collection is in cases, but some are not & you are able to touch. When we arrived we were greates by a young man who was just as friendly as he was polite. They really are very informative & eager to answer any & all questions you could have. We definitely enjoyed the afternoon & would recommend this place to anyone who is interested or just trying to find something to do!
We brought the kids here, and while they were excited they weren’t sure when we pulled into the parking lot. Don’t be fooled by the exterior or the setting in an industrial park — this is actually a great little museum! The displays are well done with lots of great information and comparisons, there are videos and interactive displays, and we all had a great time for about an hour or so. Nice gift shop too. I’d recommend it!
This great museum has so much to explore for such a small space. The exhibits are very interesting and have so much information that I feel like I could go again and still learn something new. This collection of specimens were all obtained ethically and are only 10% of the owner's collection! We went for a school field trip and the staff was engaging and kind. If you're a smashed penny collector like I am they have 12 different pennies you can make, and the staff wasn't even annoyed when I asked for change to get all 12. 🤣
Great place to take your family! The facility is a bit small for a museum but it has actives for younger children. Price is great and offers military discount and an elevator for wheelchairs. I didn’t take lots of pictures so you can explore yourself. Average time 45 minutes to an hour. Facility was very clean and the temperature was very comfortable. I would recommend.
Really cool place for all ages. The museum has 2 floors with displays around all walls, both floors. There are free-standing displays on the floor as well as a stuffed crocodile, lion & cheetah. Upstairs, there's a TV that plays a video of the process of extracting the skeletons, cleaning them with bugs & reassembling them. It's definitely an interesting place to visit if you're in the area.

I took a group 8-17 & we all had a blast. It’s perfect to escape the weather & well worth the price. The line to get lunch got ridiculously long. Had we waited, it would have been at least 45 minutes just to order. There are a ton of hands on things to do, you can easily spend the entire day there. I will say, the lady at the planetarium seemed a little, um, not nice at first. Once the show began it was different. She’s really good at her job. I think it may have been a field trip day though. Definitely go check this place out. You will be happy you did
Great place for kids and big kids alike. Very interactive and fun. Only reason for 4 stars is that some of the interactive stations and exhibits were closed, under renovation, or just not functioning the way they were intended. And at a cost of 70$ for admission for a family of 4 ( 2 adults, and 2 kids) its a bit of a let down.
Always an awesome time here. The kids love to run around and see all the wonderful displays and interact with a lot of them too! The live science shows are always a hit with the whole family! The place is huge and full of new surprises around every corner!
They had an after hours art meets science exhibit. Had a fun time! Learned a lot of new things. Awesome sculpture huge wooden hand holding what looked like a metal bird. Inside were all the cool gadgets! Had a great music performance too! Guitar with old typewriter keys hitting strings. So creative! Lots of fun!
It was very unique. Fun. The only thing I think it needed was tracks and hook for our portable hoyer lift (so heavy persons with wheelchairs and no lower body) use can use the bathroom. We love that there is a plus size durable changing table in the restrooms. We would have liked to stay longer and saw all the cool exhibits. So much cool stuff. ($22.78 adult entry price)
This was our first time visiting the Science Museum in OKC and it was AWESOME!!!! We visited it for my sons 3rd Grade Field Trip and we drove there from Sapulpa which is about 1 hour (especially on a 🚌) It wasn’t overly crowded and the amount of stuff to do is really impressive. We arrived at 9:30am and had to meet the rest of the Field Trip at Noon to have lunch and just regroup and that 2 1/2 hours flew by!!! We were so entertained and so busy I couldn’t believe it was already time for lunch! And the 2 hours after lunch felt like 10 minutes!!! I have already planned a trip back with all of my family nieces, parents, everyone. We will definitely be visiting this Museum regularly from now on!!!!!
Perfect for family day out and for kids to explore the world of science. There are rotating exhibitions as well as permanent ones. Even the adults can get in on the fun!
The whole family had fun. There is so much to do! And they really make everyone feel included. Not 1 but 2 Nursing rooms that included a quieter environment comfy chairs a couple toys for young while mom is busy nursing and a sink! Love being able to wash my hands. This would have been a five star review except.... Nothing had Ben organized and refilled in most of the curiosity activities(paper cups. balls. Costumes ect) and certain activities should have a time limit or some thing. 1 family hogged 1 activety my family really wanted to try almost the whole day. And we were there open to close. Food is not bad priced and something for everyone or your allowed to bring your own. Was an amazing family day we will be doing again.
This has been a family favorite and we try to visit every time we are in town. There is something here for all ages. It is also deceitfully big. It looks much smaller than it is - you can walk through a door and find yourself in a whole other wing. When planning your trip, here are my tips: Have multiple adults to supervise if you have multiple kids. There is a lot to see and they will want to run off. Some areas are closed off and have only one exit, but a lot of the areas are easy for excited kids to wander off. Wear comfortable shoes. You can spend a long time here. Our most recent visit, we spent 3.5 hours and still didn’t see/do everything we wanted to fit in. We did buy food at the cafe - I feel like the options have significantly decreased since the pandemic, so next time we will bring our food from home - but the food we got was enjoyed. There is a planetarium that does shows, so if you want to see one, be sure to check showtimes - and sometimes the lines will fill up quickly. They also do a live show near the entrance, so check the times for that, too. They are usually big hits, although we did not make it to a show this trip. Parking is free and we did not wait for tickets although we did arrive on a Wednesday.
Really fun place to take the kids. My wife and I found it entertaining as well. We were there for a few hours and still didn't get the chance to go through all the areas. Plenty to do. I also saw complaints in a bunch of reviews about things being broke. But I only saw one display what was broken. So maybe they've been repairing things. I hope so. Kids loved it and I'd take them back again. But it is expensive so get ready for that!
We had a blast! My girls are 2 and 10 months and they both found plenty to keep them interested as well as fun things for parents and older kids to explore as well!

This was a must eat here while on vacation. We had a late lunch and so good to see all the families. We had the lamb fries,yum, the luncheon steak, salad, wonderful dinner rolls and baked potato. The house margaritas are very good. The service excellent. We had to take the coconut cream pie to go. It was wonderful. Back to MN happy we could experience Cattlemens.
I’m upset because I was trying to decide between the dinner steak and chicken fried steak. The waiter said they make one of the best or great chicken fried steak and it is huge. For some reason visiting Oklahoma I kept thinking chicken fried steak I think from watched a food show years ago. Anyway, mashed potatoes were recommend with it. The other guys at my table all got steaks with baked potatoes and it all looked delicious and they loved it. When my came out I knew it would be lousy. I was hoping for it to at least taste good but it didn’t. It was horrible and even grisly in a couple bites. There was no taste but a very faint one of steak. It didn’t chew right and the breading fell off and I didn’t even finish it. It had gravy on the side of it but the mashed potatoes had the same gravy. All I wanted was to experience a nice steak dinner at a cool know place by Guy Fiera and Adam Richmond and enjoy myself while traveling but instead I didn’t have a great meal there and it is probably the first and last time I’ll have a change to eat there. DO NOT GET ANYTHING BUT ACTUAL STEAK THERE. THE CHICKEN FRIED STEAK IS TERRIBLE. I left with my favorite things being the salad and bread muffins and didn’t even get a good steak dinner experience as Cattleman’s is known for.
I was on my way driving through Oklahoma and read a little bit about this place. I decided to stop by and try it out. I ordered the t-bone lunch special. It was amazing. I am so glad I made this my only stop in Oklahoma as it was well worth it. If I ever find myself in Oklahoma again, this is a must, the steak was cooked to perfection and the coconut dessert was great too.
We had a party of six here for lunch around noon on 9/11. We were seated immediately. The atmosphere felt very rustic and historical, which I thought was pretty cool. The service was phenomenal, and our drinks stayed refilled. The onion rings and potato skins were delicious. The steak soup tasted like canned beef stew, which was nothing impressive. But the steak was amazing and cooked perfectly, and the mushrooms were some of the best I’ve ever had. Overall, we had a great time and a fantastic meal.
Loved that there are smaller size options on the menu as we are not big eaters, in addition to visiting from out of town so did not have the opportunity to bring leftovers home. Food & service were exceptional. No reservations or call ahead seating offered - it's first come first served so it is usually at least an hour's wait but we have experienced why...... definitely worth it!
Loved Cattlemen's Steak house. Have heard about and researched it. It did not disappoint. Steaks done they way they are meant yo be. No frills. Let the steak speak for itself. I had a Blue Ribbon New York Strip, medium. Perfection. Of note, get the Coconut Cream Pie. I would crawl over my own mother for a piece.

Always an experience. It's a comfort zone meal if you've eaten there for any length of time. The steak was juicy and tender. The lamb fries are always great. And that salad dressing. Everyone there is friendly. Haven't had a bad experience there yet. It's a landmark place that you need to visit at least once. Totally recommend.
This place is evidently an Oklahoma City icon and is probably coasting on reputation because it has been around for so long. It was definitely a good solid steak. It had good flavor, it was tender, no complaints there. In general, it was the inattention to detail that was inexcusable. First of all, our server was extremely hurried which made us feel rushed. Given how simple the menu is, there should be no reason for these fumbles. One of the steaks had to go back because it was overcooked. Instead of coming out with fresh fries, it came out with a baked potato. Mushrooms were ordered but never received. Little things like that. Again, the steak was good but this was probably a one-and-done experience for us.
Definitely a local favorite. The place was packed at lunchtime, but we quickly got a table and got our food. Good value for the price. Large portions with all of the sides and bread.
Old style steak house with decor to match. If you want beef steak this is the perfect place to go. They have lunch specials also. Service was excellent. Steak was cooked perfectly and the flavors were amazing.
Steaks are delicious, not overly salted and seasoned. Baked potatoes were fluffy and cooked perfect. Coconut meringue pie is big enough for 3 and worth it. Billy Jack is the funniest waiter too. So why 3 stars? Waited over an hour for 5 of us to get our steaks. My old-fashioned was made with water and syrup. When the waiter took it to the bartender because it was made wrong instead of fixing it he topped it off with syrup making it absolutely unpalatable. It sat untouched and not one time did the waiter ask if I would like another drink (well he asked the guys). Sorry Billy Jack, the guys asked for beer so you ran to get those before I could ask for a whiskey neat. Don't get drinks just grab a steak and be happy.

At first I was excited due to a previous post of a location in Dallas...but I excitement was soon gone when food came out...over priced for the quality of food...ordered fajitas and fajita nachos....refried beans tasted as tho they were canned fajitas were ok...nachos served on tostadas. .flour tortillas, salsa,corn were good ...not the best if you want authentic.
Ted's is one of the places we have to make sure we visit when we're in town. Food is always delicious! Also, Isabella and Amelia waited on us and they were amazing. Good job!

Great place to eat! If you're in the mood for a Mexican restaurant in OKC this is the place to go! They offer the free queso that OKC restaurants are known for. I had 2 chicken enchiladas 1 with the sour cream sauce the other with the chili sauce. They're both really good! The complimentary sopapillas they give you at the end are the bomb 🔥 You definitely should try this place out!
Shrimp tacos are always good. We had a reservation but still had to wait an hour. Staff is very nice.

We visited on Mother's Day and as could be expected, they were pretty busy. But we got a table quickly. The food and the portions were good. The hot salsa & tortillas were delicious. Our service was lacking at first but our waiter came around after a bit and service was much better (which is why I gave 4 stars, rather than 5).
Ordered sheet pan nachos to go. Supposed to have pico, sauce, guac, etc. This is what I got. Barely any meat/cheese, and they didn’t put any of the toppings that come with it. $18 and waited 20 minutes when I arrived
Omg.... this food is AMAZING!! I moved to OKC in January and just haven't found THE Mexican restaurant. This is it!! The food was AMAZING! I think it's the best Mexican food I've ever had (right behind my mother's 🤣) and the TORTILLAS ARE HOMEMADE!!!! My only complaint is that the salsa was watered down. But, they made up for the cheese sauce 🤤🤤. Just love love love!!! Will be ordering again!!
The PROBLEM with places like Ted's Cafe is a simple one, once you eat here it becomes the standard for anywhere else you decide to eat. The atmosphere is fantastic the way staff are attentive and very polite our Hostess Isabella was absolutely phenomenal. The food is next level delicious great portions and the complimentary dessert at the end is delicious.

Stopped here for lunch while visiting Oklahoma City. It was some of the best service I have had ! The management was present and very concerned about making sure we had good service. The waiter was also exceptional. We had burgers and they were delicious. I had the Toby Keith burger and my daughter had the All American . Yummy! We had queso and salsa and chips for our appetizer. So good 😊! Would most definitely go back .
First of all, service and alcoholic drinks were great, not complaints there. It was fun for the novelty of it, but the food was very bland. Steak was cooked perfectly but it had absolutely no seasoning, as a matter of fact nothing was really seasoned. We probably won't go back, we only went there because of the name and it's definitely not worth the price. Big fans would probably like it because they do have memorabilia. Just not for me
Typical tourist trap or if you a Toby Keith fan. Food was decent however the appetizer came out the same time as the meal. It’s a place that everyone should visit at least once if you are in town just to say that you have been.
I had the most bland tasting ribeye. My kids didn't eat half of their burgers cause they didn't taste right to them. But the waiter we had that gentleman was amazing. Although I had gotten sick not due to the food I was hit with a stomach bug before I got my food. If they would of put seasoning on the food it would if changed my thoughts on my dinner.
Food was good. We had cat fish, now it and tartar sauce was great. SALAD & SOUP WERE GOOD TOO. Best corn bread I've had in a long time! Everything else was just "average" I'm sorry to say, cole slaw wasn't great, green beans were just okay. Maybe we ordered the wrong items off the lunch menu. Others had chicken fried steak looked great with gravy and mashed potatoes!
What a great decision we had to stop here for lunch. The atmosphere was great, the food was fabulous, and the waiter was wonderful. I had the ribs, my friends had the fried catfish and we loved it all. I would highly recommend Toby's for any meal. My only disappointment was they did not have any t-shirts in my size to purchase. Will definitely go there again next time I'm in the area
It's all about the atmosphere which is great. Lots of healthy side dish veggie options. Nice selection of steaks and western standards. Chicken fried steak and catfish are great. Need to have red solo cup beer special each day.
Had the famed chicken fried steak and it was inedible. I did not eat it. 1/2 the steak was breading & that was soggy and gross. The cornbread was old and stale. I ordered an alcoholic drink and it was also not good. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I posted pictures of my meal bc i was so excited to eat it but so disappointed. When i mentioned to staff they didn’t offer to make it right or even care.
Great service! Absolutely love this place! We were here on January 12, 2022. And now on may 14th 2023 were back! One very disappointing thing tho, no fried ice cream :(. We loved that last year. Nachos were good. Employees were nice. No complaints at all. Totally recommend.
We did not order food. However the food that was going by us smelled absolutely amazing. We sat at the bar and ordered the "perfect margarita". It costs less than $11 and you get at least three margaritas out of it. It is served in a class with the shaker on the side so you can continue to pour your own drink. It tasted amazing and our server was super friendly and fast. That atmosphere is super fun and we regretted not ordering a second margarita before we left.

This place was fantastic! Our waiter “Drew" gave us excellent service, was friendly and really made it a great experience. The fried chicken sandwich (which we split) was literally the best fried chicken that I have ever had and I grew up in the South. It was so moist on the inside and cooked to perfection, the batter was not thick and flowery (very light) and yet super crunchy without a spot of grease anywhere. The Carrot Cake was to die for (hands down the best carrot cake that I have eaten). We will be back to try the Chicken Fried Steak and other things on the menu. This place is a must if you are a foodie.
I met a Friend here for a Birthday Lunch. The atmosphere is cool & the service was amazing! Our waitress was super sweet & friendly. For me, the food was just okay. I had the Shrimp & Grits. My Friend loved her food (Turkey Club) & we shared an appetizer. Again, it was just okay for me but she loved it. The Ice Cream Ball was soooo GOOD!!! So glad we tried it. Overall it was nice. I would go back to try another dish. Giving this a 4/5.
Cheever’s is a hidden gem. My wife and I went out for a night on the town and stopped by Cheever’s to give it a try. We were not disappointed as the food was delicious and the evening was spectacular. I would recommend making reservations. When we arrived reservations were booked for the next two hours but they graciously gave us the option to sit outside and be seated right away (Friday night). Service was pleasant and my wife and I will surely be returning. Interesting history and a wonderful place for a date night. I highly recommend. Food: Grilled Ribeye- delicious, the enchiladas on top are a great addition I haven’t seen before Molasses Roast Chicken Breast- great dish if you are looking for a more humble meal Cocktail: The Motto- gave me flashbacks to a cocktail I had on our honeymoon in Vegas, deliciousness with a kick
My daughters made reservations here for us for Mother's Day and I couldn't be happier! The inside seating is small but cozy, outside seating is also available. The food was fantastic! I didn't get a picture of the cinnamon roll we shared so I'll just say if you have the opportunity, get one. I had shrimp and grits and they were the best grits I've had outside of South Carolina. I can't wait to go back for more!
When I say every time I go to Cheevers it is better than the last, I mean it is great every time. It seems the service is never bad and I would say some of my favorite people have waited on me here. Nova is amazing! She was so attentive and kind. She noticed we didn’t have a flower on the table and went to grab us one. She was always back in time to get our refills and let us know there was no rush for us to leave even after we finished our meal. I wish Nova the best! If you want a great brunch experience, but don’t want to go to the large busy places. Just go to Cheevers, you will be happy you did. Enjoy!
Didn't know what to expect coming here as it was my first time. Right away I knew I wasn't in my typical neck of the woods type of place, now maybe this isn't what some would refer to as upscale but where I come from this place is high class. To start the napkins are actually cloth, all tables had white table cloths, two forks, butter knife, lit candle, and a real flower in a vase of water. I know some may roll their eyes at this but for me this type of dinning doesn't exist back home. The food menu was a bit limited in variety but the drinks were anything but. Lots of fancy wine and whatnot but I had water. I had heard the chicken fried steak was good and since that is a familiar dish for me that is what I got, it's also $26.00 by the way but if you can swallow that it was actually very good and a very generous portion. The waiter was cool and down to earth which kinda surprised me but I appreciated it. Overall I had a nice experience with good food but places like this are simply out of my league.
We've wanted to come to Cheever's for awhile and they did not disappoint. The first impression of the restaurant is one of class and tradition, and the hedge outside the front provides a great sense of intimacy for the whole building. Karessa our server was fantastic. I asked her to plan out our meal and she chose the strudel as an app (creamy, crispy, and hearty it was superb) and the halibut for the main course. In addition to the meal their "Capulet" cocktail with cucumber infused gin is amazing haha. We loved our experience! Thanks Karessa!
Cheever’s was recommended to us and we’re so glad! What a fantastic meal we enjoyed! They have a diverse menu with something for everyone. I had their renowned Chicken Fried Steak with the jalapeño gravy and it lived up to the hype! The chocolate cake was delicious and huge! Three people could easily share it! The wine, cocktail and beer menus offer a great variety of drink options for the perfect pairing with your meal. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable…. perfect for date night, or meeting a group of good friends. We’ll be back!
Another wonderful experience at Cheevers. We held a wedding shower in one of their private rooms. Service and food was outstanding. They were really easy to work with on decorating for the event.
Cute cafe spot for a lunch date! I had the chicken fried steak 8/10 the meat was a little tough, but the crust & potatoes, and jalapeño sauce was delicious. The husband had the burger, hello flavor! 10/10 fries were crispy. Definitely will be coming back! Friendly staff. Must stop!! Second time here. We got the brunch this time and were not disappointed. Our server is Kyle he just start work here for few days sometime he did not know about the detail for menu but he try to find out for us. He is very nice. All the food we order we love it every dishes. We glad to try this place even we saw some bad review about the food but we got very good food here. We will be back.
Flint sit on the corner of a very busy intersection across from the Myriad Garden Park downtown. The decor and seating are amazing. It is the hotel restaurant for the Colcord Hotel. Now that I have built this up I have to give my honest opinion about the food. For the price it seemed okay. The chicken actually ended up not being cooked all the way and the meatloaf seemed a little to over cooked. The sides were delicious though and they did fix the mistake and credit some money back on that meal. The desserts were darn good! The patio is where we sat and although this isn’t the Flints fault the noise from idiots with loud reved up cars could hardly be ignored. They also only offer the dinner menu for after 6pm. They have a happy hour patio menu from 2pm to 6pm that looks like fun and accessible to everyone’s price. There is a lot to love about this place and I worked at the Hotel when they created it, but I have to say I was disappointed. That being said the waiter did a great job that evening despite the problems.
Absolutely brilliant. Really enjoyed this experience! Quality of the food is incredible from the presentation to the ingredients. Huge selections of drinks. Highly recommend the coconut scallops for an appetizer. They were phenomenal. Along with the chicken plate, I cleaned it OUT! Service was overall great, waitress could have taken a social cue and not checked on us as much as they did. We wanted the enjoy the evening, especially having just proposed. We could be tearing up in convo and they would ask if we’re ready haha. Not the biggest deal, just a little advice for future reference.
We went for our 10 year anniversary. My husband had the ribeye and I had the tacos. It was wonderful. We cannot wait to go back. He also had a tank 7 and I had a delightful citrus drink, spice in the city maybe. All good.
This place is as bougie as it gets! Good food, an the expensive side, but we’ll worth it. Only complaint is that the waiter never wrote anything down, so he forgot simple things like my lemonade and jalapeños. Other than that the service was excellent. The bar here is top notch, I’d be surprised if you asked for a drink and they didn’t know how to make it. My buddy said that they had the best old fashion he’s ever had. Definitely will come back.
Went with a group of five adults for brunch on a Sunday…. Food was just ok. Cinnamon roll tasted like it came from the frozen isle of the grocery store, so don’t waste your calories on that. I had the breakfast tacos and they were also just ok, but the seasoned potatoes were everyone’s fav. I won’t go out of my way for this place, but its not the worst brunch spot.
Great restaurant in a wonderful hotel. The food was price and portions equivalent. The drinks were strong and the dessert was delicious. I loved the Dips Trio. The atmosphere is romantic enough for a date or light enough for a men/women's night out. Black Approved!
I visited on a Sunday evening (so I probably didn't need a reservation) and the all the staff I interacted with were very welcoming and kind. I started off with a very nicely balanced rye Manhattan and filled that with the fillet. The cut and seasoning were excellent although it might have been cooked a tad hot based on the doneness gradient from the exterior char to middle (still very well cooked, just being picky).
