Great place to walk/relax/promenade. Awesome atmosphere.

The promenade is amazing best thing in Nice. it has restaurants, museums, shops all on it or more close by. Very busy area but at the same time relaxing.

Love this place, full of life & energy. People watching heaven. Pedestrianised with separate bike lane. Lots of seating, art work & pop down the steps for a dip in the Med 🌊 ☀️

Impressive museum with Chagall masterpieces like the song of songs or the biblical works. There are also sketches from the work on churches stained glass. Garden is also beautiful. I did not like that there is no seating to watch and enjoy.

Great layout, a good number of large paintings by Chagall, and also an impressive set of prints including prints that were made for books. It is definitely worth spending a couple of hours. My only disappointment (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is that the paintings are mostly picked from the religious works of Chagall, and some of the masterpieces are missing. Nonetheless, there's a sense of awe from standing in front of these paintings.

This museum is a national treasure. I took the number 5 bus from downtown Nice and it dropped me off right across the street. There are many very large pieces in this museum and they are described in multi-language audio which is included if you have a smartphone.

Great artist, but I did expect more pictures to watch. Around 60 pictures are presented in this museum. Entry was under 10€.

A must museum for those fans of Modernist Art. In this one, the visitor will find many works religion-inspired of the artist: depictions of illustrations related in the Old Testament, as the artist was Jewish. Also, some works are abstracts, free to interpretation. Chagall was as well remarked for stained glass windows, and some of them can be found in this museum.

Well curated collection of Marc Chagall's work. A state of art gallery in a nice setting. Loved the rose collection which went with the perfume experience. It was once in a life time experience.

However, if the style doesn't align with your preferences, you may feel out of place and uncomfortable. Superb collection of Chagall’s artwork. We thoroughly enjoyed it. There is a QR code for commentary of some of the artwork which is very helpful. Also a nice addition is the QR code for kid’s commentaries as well.

The museum is rather little, and it doesn't take more than 1,5 hours to see most of it, even if you adore Chagall. It is interesting that it was built like a church, according to Chagall's wishes. The paintings have mostly religious themes, but there are some more abstract and some more "personal". Worth visiting if you have spare time in Nice.

A cathedral with Russian architectural influence. The cathedral has very intricate design throughout. Situated in a calm and quiet place. One of the main attractions is you can see numerous rabbits prancing around in the garden surrounding the cathedral. Definitely worth the visit.

This is the best place to enjoy beautiful view of Nice, take pictures of the beach, the city, you even can see the snow covered peak if weather permits. A local musician is playing old accordion, I am really touched by his music.

This place is magnificent. My girlfriend and I took the guided tour offered daily at 3pm (free with Riviera Pass otherwise €10, offered in English and French). The Sisters there were very nice and knowledgeable. The opulence of the interior is breathtaking, as is the exterior visage. It is a truly remarkable building and a must-see. It's an orthodox church a quite peaceful place that you can visit even you are not belong to them they are open for tourists

Wonderful Park with various lovely plants and lots of animals like turtles, ponies and tropical birds. The prices in my opinion are great for what you get and it was surprisingly empty on a Sunday so we could relax and take everything in without feeling rushed.

Amazing park to visit, many plants, some animals, nice views. For 3 euros for students it is definitely worth it. The otters are very cute, especially the small ones.

We we’re visiting in the Phoenix park with my family middle of April. Unfortunately the visiting was truly disappointment. Almost all the plants, flowers and animals wasn’t look good. There are some good services as several free toilets, one small cafeteria and some sort of picnic area. The place needs maintenance and some service before visiting can be enjoyable.

Amazing,well maintained Park! We went on Easter weekend and there were lots of things for kids, bouncy castles, play area, labyrinthine, mini zoo and tree climbing for all ages!.. you can also bring your own picnic.

Great place to visit during my stay in Nice. Beautiful flowers an animals. Small enclosures and expensive prices for food and water/drinks. Would recommend if you are in Nice, bring your own food and water/ packed lunch.

It was a nice walk through the parc. The greenhouse is bigger than expected. Very cheap entry around 5€ for adult. We couldnt lock our backpack so that was a miss, had to carry it through the parc.

Nice place to stroll through to see pretty flowers, plants, shrubs, and trees along with few animals. Very close to the airport and accessible by tram, restaurant on site and also a climbing park for both older and younger kids.

Lovely place, didn’t expect much for the entry price but could have spent the whole day there. I’d like to go back with a nice camera and spend the day taking pictures of the plants, animals, fish, birds etc. There’s so much to see. Highly recommend it.

What a great place to get away from all the shops and buildings. Some lovely animals and reptiles hidden away here. All very well looked after. Nice to just sit relax and watch the Lemurs as well. Huge place

A relatively small but vibrant park with a lovely selection of animal life to have a look and ponder at. The Peacock is particularly a character and will very happily approach you with tail out and shimmering!! We had an amazing hour or so wandering and enjoying the flora and fauna along with the animals & reptiles. A much recommended visit if your in the area!!!

It felt a bit "wrong time" - some parts of the park were abandoned - not sure if because of the season (middle of summer) or lack of attention - but we saw plenty of non existing plants (where the name card was left but no item itself). Not so many animals as well. It's nice place to have a slow stroll but don't expect too much - it needs some maintenance. There were kangaroos, lemurs, porcupine, otters, domeaticated animals and some birds. There is a section with insects, snakes and crocodile. But you can't compare to any proper Zoo - neither because of numbers, or size, or educational programme. It is a park. With tree climbing zone, kids area and cafeteria. So, probably going there with kids would make much more sense.

Interesting look at modern art. It's nicely displayed and clearly descibed. And the views from the top is amazing - you can see the whole Nice from all around.

There's all kinds of interesting art here that's worth checking out, if you're interested in art. The museum is huge, it took us 2 hours to see everything. I especially loved the terrace as you get a nice view of Nice up there and it's really refreshing to get some air after walking so much. Highly recommended!

This is a fantastic museum with lots to see. My ticket gave me access to the exhibits and permanent collections. It was beautifully curated with detailed - but not overwhelming - descriptions of each section. I went to several museums in Nice and I would highly recommend this one. Plus, the views of the city (from windows inside the building and also the circular roof terrace) are magnificent.

Large contemporary art museum with great exhibitions. The Daniel Spoerri one was great. The view from terrace is terrific! The lack of publicly available elevator makes the descent boring and unpleasant.

An excellent museum displaying predominantly French modern art. At the time of my visit, there was an Italian art exhibit as well. Most art pieces are accompanied by descriptions that are in both French and English, as well as in Italian. The museum is thus very tourist friendly. Finally, for €10, the rate of admission is very reasonable and accessible. I highly recommend checking this museum out.

The staff is nice, but the museum is dirty and dusty, and it seems grungy. The coolest part is the roof or you can walk up and down these bridges to go all around the building and give you fantastic views. The place has great potential but it’s very tired, dirty and dusty. The Gardens looks like they might be under construction and there might be a plan to fix them up. I hope that’s true because it’s a space with incredible potential but right now it’s just ratty.

Nice museum, a lot of space to walk around. Unfortunately there could be a bit more art especially more modern art. Yves Klein is nice to look at. For a few euros more you can buy a museum pass to see all the other in Nice as well. That’s good.

They begin closing operations earlier than 30 minutes before closing. As a public facility, this kind of operation is ridiculous. The bus was late and I arrived 35 minutes before closing. And the entrance was very confusing, and after going through security once by mistake, I was told it was another entrance and went to the museum entrance again. They refused to let me in even though it was only 17:29 at that time. I was a student and it was free, so I did not have to pay. They told me to come back tomorrow morning but unfortunately that is not possible as I am leaving. Very unfair and rude experience.

Weird and wonderful art here. Interesting enough to spend 1-2 hours. Modern and creative ways of portraying political messages. Well worth coming if you like art, otherwise perhaps not worth 10€ per adult. Several floors here, so you can always skip the less exciting ones. A great view of Nice from the top platform.

Spacious museum with frequent exhibitions running. Very worth a visit if you’re interested in modern arts. They have free lockers at the entrance so you can keep your belongings there. If you’re an absolute classic arts lover like me, then this one is not for you.

Great place to see modern art from not only France but all around the globe from different historical periods and movements and by different artists. Wonderfully structured and organized exhibitions on 4 floors. You can easily spend at least 2 hours contemplating all the art there.

This museum is excellent, offering a plethora of things to see. I was utterly stunned by the Niki de Saint Phalle collection. Additionally, there is a terrace with a wonderful view of Nice, making it a great place to spend time after the exhibition. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind

Best Neapolitan pizza in Nice! Not possible to book in advance, you would have to do a queue (maybe, with a glass of wine? :) ) but, believe me, it is so worth it!! Great service, friendly staff, kind owner, amazing pizza, clean bathroom! Good vibes and cozy atmosphere! Highly recommended!

The best pizza I've ever had. We had to wait in the queue 45 minutes(thanks for the free drink!) but it was definitely worth the wait. If I ever visit Nice again, this restaurant will be my first stop!

Outstanding napoletana style pizza, probably the best pizza I've ever had. Excellent service and desserts as well. People started lining up early, so it may be worth getting here 10 or 15 minutes early if you want to get a table quickly. I wish I could give higher than 5 stars, it's really that good.

Les Amoureux is a jewel! Delicious pizza with a very artistic take; some of the pizzas were heart shapes too. We had their pistachio pizza and pumpkin pizza with hot salami added. If I had a little more time, I would absolutely come back to try the other pizzas.

Believe me when I say the best pizza in Nice! Ivan, the owner is very nice and friendly and he will let you feel home! I definitely recommend this place The only thing you need to know it’s that they don’t take bookings so you’ll have to join the queue and wait for your turn but it is definitely worth the wait!!! Pizzas are very light and big and the use very good products. If you love desserts, you need to leave a space in your stomach for the pannacotta, it’s delicious 😋

This is the best restaurant is all of Nice. The owner of this restaurant is so sweet and welcoming. The pizza is absolutely delicious and the company is even better. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal and amazing service!

You wouldn't believe, but for me this one beats napoletana from Naples! Without a doubt the best pizza I have ever tried! We were here on a friday night in June and everything was brilliant, from food to the owner and waiters; incredible experience! 100/100

Best pizza ever in whole Nice. Super authentic Italian pizza with most incredible dough and fresh ingredients. Been here for several times and enjoyed every single one of my experiences. The staff are lovely and considerate🤌🏼. One of the must go restaurants in Nice, however, need to be there soon and there is a long queue every time.

Our AirBNB was just down the block and we decided to try this place based on the recommendations of our host. We were not disappointed. We visited around 7pm and were met with a line out the door. Always a good sign. 30 minutes later and we were seated. The restaurant is very cozy - in a good way. The back of the menu was in English, which was much appreciated. We went with a couple of recommendations made by our waiter/the owner. A short time later, our Neapolitan pies were delivered. The pizza, as well as the atmosphere is authentic as it comes. It's easy to see why this place has so many positive reviews. Definitely worth a visit.

Get here a bit before 7, wait in line, and get a great spot inside. Absolutely amazing pizza, drinks, and staff. It’s a very homey, family atmosphere. Highly recommend!

If I could give 10 stars I would. An amazing experience. Marie and Michael are so friendly and welcoming. Do not even think twice - get the duck! Best meal experience my family and I have enjoyed in France.

The restaurant is quite small and intimate, with just six tables in a dim lit room opened to the kitchen. The wife of the chef waits on the tables and gives precious tips for ordering and is very friendly. She made us feel welcome and just like we were part of their extended family. The chef frequently comes out of the kitchen to crack jokes and receive his compliments. The food was sublime, probably the best duck I have ever eaten. The portion was big, so big I couldn’t finish it, but believe me I wanted to. All in all, a beautiful experience in Nice and amazing food.

Best roasted duck that i have ever had and also tastiest Nice food that I experienced. The owners Marie and Michael were very nice and kind and warmly welcomed us. I was facinated by their food and hospitality.

Definitely not a pub! Very small And intimate restaurant run by husband (chef) and wife (everything else!). Georgina found this place in our 2019 trip to Nice and was determined we should visit again. Hell of a walk from our apartment but the duck is second to none and well worth the walk!

The restaurant is small, so it's probably a good idea to make a reservation a few days in advance. We did it through the restaurant's Facebook page and the owner was really responsive. When we arrived we just followed the owner's recommendations and had a really good time and a fantastic meal. I won't even bother explaining how good the food was, it's definitely a must-visit when you're in Nice. The wine selection was also great :)

Created a vegetarian dish for me (only vegetarian in a company of 7) even though this was definitely not on the menu. Everyone almost finished their overly generous portions of birds of layered flavors. Owners are an experience all on their own. Highly recommend. You will not regret the experience!!!!

We went there to try the originaly French cuisine, and it was absolutely fabolous. Family cuisine, friendly staff, good vine. Of course we choose the duck. And it was amazing, even better than it looks in photos. Restourant is small and take a attention to working hours, thats why you should reserve a table, Otherwise you will be left without dinner. Definettly worth to spend evening there to feel the French spirit and taste originaly cuisine.

Very interesting experience, eating a very deliciouss duck for the first time. The atmosphere makes the food even tastier. Amazing and friendly service, really good at comunicating with people, really kind and generouss.

What a surprise. If you like duck, you CAN'T go back home without going first to this restaurant. That restaurant made my whole stay in Nice. I ate the roast duck 1. It's just incredibly tasty. Enjoy!!

Visited this hidden gem in April 2023. It is out of the tourist area but can still be accessed easily by tram. Its specialty is duck in traditional recipes. The chef and his wife are super friendly and chatty. We ordered #2 duck, lamb shank and a small bottle of red wine. Huge portion and need to pack left over. The dishes were quite heavy and slightly greasy. But overall. It was a very enjoyable dinning night P.S. Our reservation was made via email

Great place with french food. I went there for dinner, got their recommended menu. It was absolutely delicious. You pick 1 dish out of 2-3 options for each position (starter, main and dessert). I had ravioli for starter, sea bream for main and cream brulee for dessert. I am not a huge fan of fish in general, but this sea bream impressed me, it was extremely good. They also have a nice wine collection. The staff was super nice and polite. I would definitely recommend visiting.

Very delicious French cuisine. We went for the summer 3-course, everything was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. All dishes can go with their suggested wine pairing. We're not huge wine fan so only went for the main course, but still it was great. Very friendly service, patiently explaining and introducing everything.

Everything is perfect. Good atmosphere and waiter service impressed me. The food is perfectly prepared with a very interesting combination of spices and flavors. The menu is simply , but everything is worth it and is at a high level. The wine is unique, a real quality French wine, a must try.

Stumbled upon this restaurant after my first choice restaurant was fully packed. I had no reservation but luckily they had one last table for me! I was quite happy with how it turned out at Le Vingt4. This older gentleman server was so friendly and kind, and he kept asking if my food was okay since I was dining alone. I had the menu with fish that night, and I don’t really like fish in general. But it was quite alright, and the sauce definitely made up for the fish and made the dish better. The wine was delicious! Overall, I’d say the food was a 4 out of 5, while the service was a 6 out of 5.

Wonderful restaurant offering delicious food and well considered wine pairings at a good price. The staff were nice and helpful! Also of note is the tastefully decorated interior contributing to a lovely ambiance while dining.

Visited the restaurant based on previous reviews , which in this case didn't work out. Food was average at best . Red mullet fish had too much cream sauce overpowering the fish. Grilled prawns had no flavor whatsoever , were previously frozen and overcooked . Service was very good , but that's about it for this place. Way better places in town for nice authentic French cuisine . Reduced food rating by 1 star as all night long my stomach was very upset due to the food and very unpleasant.

Farm to table type restaurant where the owners are very proud of the freshness of food. They also have a large wine section (one of their themes). They have al a carte options as well as a more budget friendly set menu. We started with a sausage app and breadsticks, followed by a fish option with a wasabi sauce (very tasty) and a chocolate lava cake type dessert. We also had a crème brûlée. Very tasty and pleasant experience. Is definitely recommend.

The food and wine pairing was a joy to experience. Wine suggestions are listed next to the food selections. You also get a taste of any wine by the glass ordered, with over 60 selections available. All the employees were friendly and the food, including the pictured Camembert, were excellent! Highly, highly recommend.

Dinner is amazing and service is really professional and friendly. This is a great experience and Italian food. Everything was tasty, carpaccio (beef and tuna) appetizer and beef and fish for main course. Real authentic feel and vibes. Reservation is recommended even the place is pretty big.

We walked in on a Monday night and it was full till 9.15pm so we made reservation instead. Nicoise salad - 4 stars Nothing special. I had this as my main. Panisses maison - 5 stars Chickpea fry-like dish. Flavourful and moist. Loved this! Beef steak - 4 stars My husband really liked this! I'm not a steak person. Gnocchi with beef stew sauce - 3.5 stars Gnocchi was soft. Beef stew sauce was flavourful but I like beef stew sauce that has chunks of tender flaky beef. Tourte de blette - 5 stars Wasn't expecting much as the chard with brandy-soaked raisins sounded too much for me, but it was delicious! First one I've tried. The pie crust was AMAZING - one of the best I've had. The chard was grassy but fresh, reminding me of pandan in Southeast Asia. It came together really nicely. The orange blossom ice cream was good too though I'm not sure it was necessary. Worth going to if you're in Nice for the first time. I'd try the red mullet which is supposed to be a specialty of this area.

Great NİÇOİSE meals, cool and cozy environment, nice Restaurant crew, amazing tastes. For 3 of us, we got 3 appetizers in the middle, 1 main course per person, 2 bottles of red wine, it was 80 € Per person. What was shocking for me is the specialty SPINACH BEET PIE!!! Interesting taste and actually recommend this as a surprising sweet ending

Family owned and run. The owner was happy to share his story after greeting us at the table—even mentioning his niece was behind the bar with other family members working as well. Food was fantastic, and price was exceedingly reasonable. You need a reservation. We stopped by the prior day and put our name down for the next day. Easy enough, but I’m sure you could call.

This gem of a restaurant came highly recommended by the locals I met. I was warned that getting a seat at a table may be challenging, but it was worth the effort! Best advice I will provide is make a reservation. The experience from start to finish was on point. The food is absolutely delicious, savory from the first bite to the very last. The service provided was fantastic as well. Staff was extremely personable, attentive and full of playful personalities which made the experience enjoyable! This establishment is worth the wait and effort to have a seat at the table! I highly recommend sitting outside to experience the life of the city.

Fantastic restaurant in classic Nicoise style. Proper French cuisine, multilingual staff. We shared a mixed Nicoise starter that comprises most of the starters. Them i had rougets (red mullet) with fries while she had calves liver and green beans. Great bottle of Grave too. Highly recommended!

Recommended by locals. Go there early or make reservations in advance. The restaurant gets very busy every day. Packed with locals. Local dishes, large quantity and good price. If you are not big eater, order one course, so you still have space for dessert.

We originally tried to book online, but didn’t get a confirmation so walked past the restaurant to reserve for the next night as the restaurant was fully booked that evening. The food was worth the wait. For starter we loved the onion pizza. For mains we had the beef steak with home made fries and the duck with pepper sauce and a side of the chickpea fries. All cooked to perfection. We wanted to try dessert but we’re so full! The young gentleman waiter was really nice and checked on us multiple times if the food was ok. He also checked in on how we liked our meat which was important to us. The front of house gentleman was really lovely booked us in promptly and gave us the best seat in the restaurant. We loved our meal here, thanks to the restaurant for going above and beyond.

I really enjoyed my meal and the service was great. The lobster risotto was excellent. The tuna was good and the service was excellent. I would recommend coming here for a nice lunch. The prices are affordable and the food quality is great. They also have a great selection of wines and other types of food on their menu.

We had an amazing experience! Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is very warm and pleasant. Food is delicious and so are the drinks.

They took us as one of the last tables of the night, and they were so wonderful! Everything on the menu was a highlight. I truly enjoyed the pork chop and the lobster risotto. When I am in Nice again, I will for sure return!

We had a very nice anniversary dinner at Le Sejour. The food was delicious. I just wish the owners has time to chat with us. Busy and popular restaurant. Everyone was happy. Beautiful presentation. Attentive waitstaff.

The piece itself is quite cute... Got lots of little pictures and situated in a nice snug street... The food was good... We got the pate and the lobster risotto.. the pate was really nice. The risotto had a bisque type sauce... But to be honest i expected the risotto to have more flavour. A couple of pieces of lobster but in the end just felt like you were eating a light cheese risotto rather than lobster or seafood.. This felt more like an entree too. Staff were great and answered all questions. Good with English too. Next time I go I'll try something else, place is worth going back to just gonna try something else than the risotto.

This Michelin stars restaurant in Nice is a must go. It is a very good place for a romantic date night. Food is exceptional and service is amazing. I recommend to try their Poulpe ā l’Italienne and Canette Fermiere aux Cerisco.

This is a must try if you’re visiting Nice. I did not have a reservation and arrived during prime dinner time. I was 100% expecting the host to turn me away for the evening, but she happily told me to back an hour or so later and that she would write my name down. I did return and she had in fact wrote my name down! Aside from the incredibly friendly staff (everyone really seemed to enjoy working there. You can see in the way that they walked and interacted with diners), the food was superb. They don’t have a physical menu or QR code, rather a small chalk board with the offerings. I had the lobster risotto, which you cannot leave here without trying. It was rich, creamy and the risotto had the perfect bite. I recommend sharing because the portion size was quite generous and leaves you room to try another dish or dessert. Overall, the food, service and ambiance of the restaurant was fantastic. I can see why they’re in the Michelin Guide!

I’m still at the restaurant and leaving this review immediately because my experience was THAT incredible. The food was amazing, completely deserving of the Michelin rating - but what sets this restaurant apart from others is the impeccable service. I was dining alone and Gerome took such fantastic care of me, even down to remembering my name the entire meal! His knowledge of the menu and recommendations were spot on, in fact the entire staff is deserving of 5+ stars if it was an option. HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Nice or the French Riviera even, it’s worth the trip!

Dined here on our last night in Nice and it was perfect. The staff is so friendly and the food is great!! The scallops were tasty. The risotto with octopus and saffron was near perfect (octopus was slightly overcooked). The lobster risotto was really good. The mille feulle was the best have ever had. A great spot for a great meal!

A great place to eat fine french cuisine. It does not have a Michelin star but it's in the Michelin guide and also among the Gault&Millau recommendations with 12,5/20 points. Even if I've noticed it seem to have the same managers as Bistro Marin next door, the service at Le sejour is better by far!! I recommend you book a table in advance, usually for the next day is ok.

Not quite a Michelin star restaurant but definitely featured in the Michelin guide.... Had a wonderful French meal (foie gras, a lemon souffle & a mocktail as I'm sober) but loved talking to the owner Marie Therese. Charming place that is as comfortable as any living room!!!
