We loved this attraction. We thought it was so informative. A lot of history and the mansion tour was good. Only thing I would say is they would need to have tours spaced out more. Because sometimes it was hard to hear the tour guide while other tour was upstairs which was little annoying and hard to hear. But overall we love this tour and experience. Definitely buy tickets in advance. Free wine tasting after tour which was cool

Beautiful mansion and grounds. The tour of the mansion was very informative and the guide was happy to answer questions. A lot of history was covered in a short amount of time. The staff seem truly interested in discovering more of the history as well. A wine tasting was included as part of the ticket. Ended up taking home the carriage house white. A great place to relax among magnolia trees and take in the rich history.

We did the plantation and mansion tours today ($45 combo). If you only choose one, do the mansion tour because you cannot enter the mansion otherwise but you can see the plantation grounds on your own and read the plaques scattered about. Casey was our tour guide and he was great. We were there 2.5 hours and had plenty of time to see everything, including wine tasting.

We really enjoy seeing different historical sights. Wife picked this one out and I had no idea what to expect. Turns out this was an interesting tour, an opportunity to learn, a time to reflect with meaningful conversations during the tours. Do yourself a favor, do more than the basic tour and wine tasting. Definitely do those (awesome) but try another option too. Might be worth your time. We met very nice people working here and enjoyed talking with others on the tour. Very cool and interesting time. Beautiful grounds to wander around also.

Step back in time with knowledgeable guides who walk you through this beautiful mansion. Uncovering the story of the Harding family and all they went through to get this place up and running. Finding out about the horses who sired so many winners over the years through the bloodline of horses at Belle Meade. The grounds are gorgeous with much to see and learn. Went with family who were not to keen on going but all enjoyed it at end of the day.

This is a great place if you enjoy history and wine. The mansion is a great place to learn about the generations who lived there including the owners and the slaves. It is rich in history, and the wines are amazing! They also had live music when we were there. The Meat & Three restaurant has great food options. It is a cafeteria style dining. You pick the foods you want and seat yourself. Overall great place to spend some time.

We had a really good time on this property. Very interesting history, and the tour guide did a good job showing us the mansion. The included wine tasting was great as well. The blackberry wine is one of the best I've ever had. We enjoyed our few hours at Belle Meade. Thank you!

We enjoyed one of the family tours that Belle Meade offers - the tea time tour. As this was a new tour we were lucky enough to be the only ones on it! Kelsey was an awesome tour guide who took time to answer any questions we had. She has immense historical knowledge. After the tour we went to an upper floor balcony where a tea party was set up with cookies and different teas. Lemonade was also available. We were showed the 'proper' ways that tea was enjoyed back in the day and had plenty of time to enjoy ourselves while music played in the background. I would highly recommend this tour to all families!

Visited Belle Meade as a family with a small child. We enjoyed learning about the rich history of both the site and the state. It was wonderful to discover some kid-friendly activities, such as mini-golf and croquet, for when the history and walking got to be too much. All the food between the ice cream shop and the restaurant was delicious, but especially the ice cream and carrot cake. The only disappointment was discovering we paid a $25 premium to purchase a bottle of the Belle Meade Reserve Bourbon. After paying for admission, one would hope for a small discount, or at the very least, the same price as at the liquor store. My suggestion would be to skip buying it from here, and just get it when you get home.

My husband and I attended the bourbon tasting that they offer on the plantation and it was the highlight of our trip to Nashville! The grounds are beautiful and well-kept, you can feel the history that this place holds. The tasting is held in the circular ice room and is about an hour long of tasty bourbon and a fun history lesson. They are very detailed and respectful to the history of the place. At the end we made the best old fashioned I have ever had. I liked that we were able to order items we had seen and tasted straight from the paper menu we were given and taking it to the winery to pick up. We will definitely be back next time we visit Nashville.

This historic site is absolutely beautiful. It features a plantation home with rich history. There is also wine tasting with a friendly and energetic staff. We bellied up to the bar insidd the gift shop for our tasting, but i noticed that they had other wine tastings outdoors to help spread out the crowds. Theu have a wide variety of wines, we ended up purchasing two different types and also some delectable chocolates. It was very pleasant to walk around the grounds. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. We had a great time!

It was nice, but felt quite short and missing something... trying to figure out what it is... Unfortunately, they don't allow to take pictures inside of the mansion. But it was very dark inside anyway and not that big. Wine tasting and bourbon tasting are definitely big attractions for tourists, also they do weddings and have a couple of nice spaces for the ceremonies. The history was quite interesting. The slavery part is very sad. I am comparing with the plantation we visited in Charlston, SC and this one wasn't close to it... However, it is definitely worth a visit.

We did the Grounds Only Admission and enjoyed a complimentary wine tasting. We got a glass of wine to go and walked around the property. The property was beautiful, with so much to see and explore. There was even a little game area outside with cornhole. We grabbed a bite to eat at The Belle Meade Meat & Three. All employees on the property were super nice and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon here!

We enjoyed touring the Belle Meade mansion and grounds. The tour of the mansion was very informative, and our tour guide seemed very knowledgeable of the property. We learned a lot about the history of the property and grounds. The included wine tasting was a bonus and was a great way to end the tour. We were able to roam around the grounds and see the stables, winery, cabins, and other parts of the historic site. If you are in the area, I strongly encourage you to make a reservation and visit. They have free on-site parking which is a plus.

Johnny Cash was an amazing musician! Never knew he had so many singles and albums. He is a true legend of Country And Gospel music. He loved his June Carter... Great museum, lots of things to very and listen to about him and his life.. fascinating. Would return again...

I had a great experience here. I share a birthday with Johnny Cash so I made sure to go on my birthday. There was no wait to get in. It is self-guided and they give you a brochure before you go in that has a guide in it. There's lots of really cool artifacts in there from Johnny Cash. I learned a lot more about him than I knew before. We were in here for maybe an hour.

Little over priced for the small size of the Museum. Some good reading in there to look at and take photos of. The Patsy Cline museum above is even smaller, unless you have a heart tied a Patsy Cline I’d save my time. The cafe was ok until we found a long brown hair at the bottom of the beans… until that point we enjoyed the day. But the POP tech music was up to loud and the chicken a bit dry. The museum didn’t give a military discount but the restaurant did. The guys hat on backwards to the side that brought my food out didn’t look to happy to be there or say anything when putting the meal on the table. We love Johnny Cash, this is a one and done thing for me. The gentleman taking the tickets is the only one that should be getting paid in there. He explained a great deal to us. Just being honest.

4/18/2023: Beautiful museum. It takes about an hour to go through. Completely worth the time. This has been noted as one of the best music museums in America. I would agree. The amount of information inside is so detailed and iconic. It is dark inside, but I think that is for the ambiance. I was more of a Johnny Cash fan after leaving, for sure! It's pretty cool to be surrounded by so much history, fame and singing ability. They have a gift shop as you exit.

A little pricey for the size of the museum, but it’s great. The life story of the man in black with bits of memorabilia, from guitars to suits. Worth the price of admission and a must see for any fan. And they’ll get you in the sweet gift shop, too!

Wife and I visited here and never went inside the actual museum part. But there were some photo opportunities in the front of the building so here are a few. There was a small coffee shop there and the wife and I got a couple of chai teas that were surprisingly very good.

The staff was friendly, but the museum itself is fairly small. Some nice interesting things there. The museum is well done in terms of its design and creation. At the same time, I didn't get the chance to go upstairs, but there's a Patsy Cline museum as well. I am not sure why they don't combine the two or at least let two be covered by the cost of 1 ticket. Each museum costs well over $20 per ticket, and for that price, I doubt I will return.

Gosh what a great experience! As a long time Johnny Cash fan, this was a must do visit while in Nashville. The exhibits were very well done and fascinating! One could really get a full understanding of who Johnny Cash was, his passions, talents, faith in Jesus and struggles. As a recovered alcoholic/addict myself, I have a place in my heart for those who struggle in addiction. The music video hurt was played at the end and had me emotional... Overall the experience was a perfect way to know who The Man in Black was and honor him. Johnny Cash was truly a legend!

The tour was straight to the point, didn't take forever either, maybe 30 minutes. The walk around the whole area was pleasant, and there's even a horse carriage ride you can take, don't know if you have to pay as I didn't take it. The price, in my opinion, was hefty for a little piece of history, coming in at $24 per adult. But it was a very nice day out so walking around and looking at old buildings was kind of relaxing. As for what there is to look at, it's mainly Andrew Jackson's house with a few buildings you can walk into but there's not much in them and they're very small, I believe they have an event we're they play some older sport. The gift shop was mediocre, mainly books about stuff other than the president. There's "Wine Tasting" but no one was in there when I went in so, can't give you details on that, sorry! Overall, it was a good way to waste a few hours of my day, enjoyably. P.S. Also, I met two awesome folks from PA during the tour and got my picture with them, however I forgot their names, if you two guys are reading this, feel free to follow me on here and I'll try and find a way to get in touch!

A nice place to spend a couple hours learning about American history. Tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable. The mansion is air conditioned, which was helpful on the hot day we visited. Such a beautiful spot. Photos are not allowed indoors, FYI.

I came here on a Monday afternoon and was basically the only person in the whole place! I did the “In Their Footsteps” tour and it was super informative, I’d highly recommend it. The tour was about $50 per person but it was worth it. Overall the history is very interesting and I’d definitely recommend trying to visit here.

We had a beautiful April evening to cruise the river! The entertainment was so much fun to listen to and watch. There was a lot of talent on that stage. We enjoyed getting to know the people sitting at our table, and food was good and filling. I especially enjoyed the dessert with a cup of coffee!

We had time between arrival and check in so we decided to stop and lock the grounds. We had about an hour wait before I could tour the mansion. There's plenty to do from the museum to the wine tasting to walk in the grounds to make that time go by very quickly. The grounds are gorgeous. All of the varieties of trees are very interesting. Thinking that some of them are hundreds of years old is incredible.

There is a lot of construction for up dates being done. I was able to get around with my scooter. I couldn't go into the house with the scooter, but I was able to walk and sit once inside. I found everything very interesting. I loved the wagon ride with Greg as our tour guide. Very informative (all the tour guides were), friendly, and just kind. It was a great day. Loved the Bake Chicken in the Cafe too!

Wonderfully restored Mansion with most of it's original furnishings. Well conducted tour of the building with lots of information. The grounds are well maintained and extensive. Great place for a stroll through history and nature.

The Mansion Tour was nice. They showed a short 25-minute movie about this place and the people who had lived there. The mansion was air-conditioned, which was good because of the extremely hot summer weather that week. The four tour guides were nice and friendly and they gave our tour a lot of interesting knowledge about Andrew Jackson and his life before and after his presidency. They even politely answered our questions. And we asked them a few. It was my first time visiting here. I bought some nice souvenirs. Those ladies who worked in the gift shop were nice, friendly, and helpful. We got a ride from an older gentleman in a golf cart from the Mansion back to the Museum and gift shop. He told my husband that he could drive for him. I thought he was teasing; but he was serious. My husband talked to him and we thanked him profusely for the ride. We were tired of walking, and it was so hot out that we really appreciated that ride. The other people, like us, were hot and tired, and I'm sure they also appreciated that ride as well. I would take our children and grandchildren back here to learn some of our nation's history.

Amazing home with lots of history about Andrew Jackson and his home. We did half hour mansion tour which included the grounds. They also have self guided audio tours which you can download on your phone in which you can roam around the grounds on your own. We also went onto the horse drawn tour. We spent about 5 hours here and just took our time wandering the grounds. Keep an eye. You may see a bunch of turkeys or a mole burrowing in his hole.

We chose to do the VIP tour. It was great. I really enjoy having a knowledgeable person explain to me what I am looking at. Otherwise, I just blow past everything too quickly. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. I could just spend the day walking outside enjoying the plants, wildlife, and scenery. The house is really well preserved with a lot of the original stuff. It was very impressive. We learned a lot about Jackson. His story is quite impressive. I'm so glad we visited. This is one of the better presidential places we have been.

We did the outside tour only. It was great. It wasn't about the money. The difference in price was four dollars. But we were able to self pace the outside, rather than going at the guide's speed. We saw much of the Hermitage's ground floor through the windows. Highlights for us were the history of enslaved people and the gardens, including the Jackson burial cupola. Plus, we visited the wine tasting area. Very nice.

This home and plantation are well preserved. Tour guides were professional and very knowledgeable. The entire of the home is awesome, especially the mural, and how much is authentic. Well kept grounds and other out buildings. Peaceful area. The museum was excellent and full of great information about Andrew Jackson and had good information on the slaves he owned, too. Some great insights into life during his time and some details of his life. Wish we could have taken photos inside (only reason not giving a 5 star rating). I understand why, with 80% of the items there being Jackson's belongings or from his family and so are very old and to preserve them, they ask for no photos.

Loved it! Wish I would’ve gone during the daytime to first enjoy the park and then visit inside as it gets dark out. Worth the $10. Fairly quick if you don’t stop to read all the information pertaining to the exhibits. I do, it’s informative and descriptive enough to allow you to transport in time! Recommend! Go for it!

The Parthenon was built in 1897 as the Athens of the South for the TN Expo representing the numerous colleges locally such as Vanderbilt. It is an exact replica of the Parthenon in Greece and simply magnificent! If you have not visited you simply must. The inside is beyond incredible with the statue of Athena as the main attraction. She is just lovely! The outside is used for Weddings, Soccer games, Picnics, Walking your Fur baby;) The Park is very nice with the water and being able to take children and feed the ducks also. (REMEMBER No bread! only bite size pieces such as oats, lettuce, rice and sweet corn.) This is worth visiting more than once! The park is free outside as well as parking. There is a charge for inside. Adults are $10, Seniors and children $8, Babies Free.

Pretty interesting stop. Was inside the Parthenon for about 45 minutes. Nice look into who and why they build it. Doesn't have too much Greek history and myths but it has a small amount. More of the museum was dedicated to the actual act of building it and the time it was built. Kinda wish there was more on the Greek history and why they choose the Parthenon of all things back when they built it for the fare but overall still kinda interesting if you need to kill some time.

A nice little museum for those who enjoy art and history. When we visited there was a display from some modern artists, more historical paintings, as well as displays detailing the 1987 Tennessee Centennial and International Exposition (for which the Parthenon replica was built), and displays detailing the building of the Parthenon and its contents. The statue of Athena is impressively large in person and worth the cost of admittance on its own ($10). We went on a weekday so it was not crowded at all, and spent about an hour walking through it slowly and reading the plaques. If you don’t care to stop and read everything you could probably blow through in 20 minutes or less. There is free parking just a short walk from the Parthenon, though even on a slow weekday it was pretty full with only one or two spots open when we arrived.

I never knew this place existed in Nashville but it’s an incredible experience to be able to step back in time and see the Greek Parthenon built to scale with amazing detail, complete with a golden statue of Nike and Athena. I’m a fan of history and architecture and this was a great find. For $10 admission cost, it’s absolutely worth the price of admission to experience it. The scale of the statue alone is incredible when you take a moment to realize that the small figure in Athena’s hand is 6’4” tall! We got there from Broadway on Old Town Trolley that drops you off right at the front of the Parthenon. We didn’t spend too much time in the museum itself but there’s more to see here for those interested. Recommended and photos don’t do it justice. Go see it in person!

Doesn’t matter whether you are interested in Greek mythology or not, visit this place. Parthenon is the ancient Greek temple of goddess Athena. This one is the only full size replica of the original. This is huge with a humongous statue of Athena inside. I loved it. It’s a must visit place if you are around.

Most definitely worth a visit!! An incredible structure full of history and details! The museum isn’t large, but the art is so beautiful. Everything was so enjoyable. Our tour guide John Taylor was wonderful, he was so incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, he made the experience all the more worthwhile! I highly recommend checking it out!

Nashville is blessed to have this beautiful park in the middle of the city. There’s enough parking to support an entire music fest. The trees 🌲 mostly cover the walking track so you can walk even before sunset. Sometimes you can find ice cream trucks or food trucks there. They also occasionally have fairs or festivals here. A couple of musicians practice there occasionally, and I love the presence of music around. I have also found some artists paint under the tree. Overall, it’s a very uplifting atmosphere.

Great place. Historic greek building. Well designed garden. I like this place. Families or individuals can enjoy freely. Play your guitar have your picnic great place to enjoy even sitting there and observing what’s going on around. I saw fireflies around.

I absolutely loved visiting this beautiful and free park! Even on hot days, there are plenty of shady spots to find respite. The highlight for me was the serene lake, teeming with lively fish and adorable ducks. An enchanting island in the middle of the lake even hosts buzzing bee hives, adding a touch of nature's wonder. It was heartwarming to see families, kids, and people with pets, all enjoying this inclusive outdoor space. With something for everyone, this park truly caters to all ages and interests. Whether you seek tranquility, a fun day out with loved ones, or simply want to commune with nature, this park is an absolute gem. Make sure to visit the flower garden!

I really enjoy this park as I always come here when visiting Nashville! It’s pretty safe to walk around and enjoy the scenery! Not too far from Vanderbilt which you can see their football stadium from afar! I highly recommend visiting to enjoy a good outing even if it snows like I did when I visited!

This park is the continuation of the very beautiful Parthenon, very well cared for. A great place to walk, talk, take beautiful photos, see animals and even ride a swing. I would like to see the detail of a photo that can be taken with the background of the tower of the University of Knoxville.

Beautiful place for a picnic or to relax. Pond with wildlife, beautiful flowers and plenty of shade. My son and I played some catch and went to the Tailor Swift bench. Enjoyable time with family

Beautiful lake, walking paths, and monuments located outside of The Parthenon. There is plenty of parking, which I believe is free. A great place to slow down and just enjoy nature!

Large, beautiful park with paved paths for walking/running and open green areas for sports, games, picnics, or just relaxing. Has an impactful monument dedicated to women's suffrage, as well as a full scale reproduction of the Parthenon. Inside, the goddess Athena is heralded. Has an open ampitheator for events like concerts on beautiful nights. Close walking distance to many good dining choices and across the street from the Marriott at Vanderbilt University (their in-hotel restaurant and bar is EXCELLENT, btw). Closes at sunset. Perfect for families and romantic for couples, and most importantly, dog friendly!!! Psst... Excellent photo ops too.

We stopped to stretch our legs as we were driving across the country. Wowzer! Such a nice park.. Loved all the historic displays. The flowers and reflecting ponds were eye popping! So nice.

Very nice large open green space with the Parthenon as the center of attention. Tours available for $10 or you can visit the gift shop for free. Many other mini attractions within the park to visit at no charge. Check out a free map of the park on Google for more info. Lots of beautiful statues and walking spaces. A nice dog park just across the street (they still call it within Centennial Park, but drove myself nuts looking for it). Lots of shade. Awesome place to walk, read or jog or tour for the day! Also a stop on the Hop On, Hop Off Trolley Tour!

Centennial Park offers a beautiful lush environment in close proximity to the downtown area of Nashville. I decided to work from my laptop while enjoying a hot dog and a calming lake view. Parking was plentiful when I visited which only made the experience better. All in all a great way to spend leisure time and enjoy a breath of fresh air. Having the Parthenon as a backdrop only makes it better!

It's okay. Flat, has a lake (looks man made but might not be) and has lots of cement pathways. About the best part of the park are all the statues and history, and of course the Parthenon. It's worth a walk-around if you are waiting on the Parthenon to open, but is otherwise not so interesting. Perfect place to host events due to the wide open flat grass areas.

Drove into Nashville and headed directly here for a late lunch. We have seen this place several times on tv and YouTube shows so why not stop in. *pro tip* don’t fill up on the biscuits they give you when you sit down! So we devoured the biscuits that they provided and we all were stuffed about 1/3 through our food! Chicken salad was really good according the the wife. Fresh salad and perfectly cooked chicken. Hot Nashville style chicken tender sandwich brought the heat! My son loved it! I had the sampler (fried green tomatoes, pulled pork, and chicken) my favorites was the fried green tomato with pimento cheese! Biscuits and gravy. My daughter ate a few of these but in the end she said my sausage gravy was better. Which made me feel good! Overall good service and good food. It’s always fun to check another place off the list!

Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in Nashville. The biscuits alone are worth the drive. And these are extremely tasty biscuits. A fellow colleague selected The Loveless Cafe for breakfast and we happily followed. The atmosphere is buzzing. There's no way you can step into this building and be cranky. No way possible. We had a nice size group, but it didn't take long to seat us. I had a delightful breakfast with sausage, scrambled eggs, country ham and grits. Mind you every restaurant doesn't do grits right. We also shared a few desserts because why not have dessert with your breakfast? Overall, a beautiful experience. I highly recommend you make a stop whenever you're in the Nashville area.

We really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. Especially the biscuits with the grape and peach jam. The decor was vintage and beautiful. We were amazed of all the different singers, politicians and athletes that ate there. Thumbs up 👍 to the Loveless Cafe!

I really enjoyed my breakfast here. The biscuits really are amazing. They bring out a plate of them as soon as you sit down and I'm sure we could have asked for more. My country ham was awesome and the pulled pork was very tasty. Service was fast and friendly. I would come here somewhat regularly if I lived in the area. I'd come more often if it was a little cheaper. Also, you can get their biscuits at the gas station next door, so you don't need to go inside and sit down for a full meal to try them. I'll be taking this route next time I am there.

So while in nashville.. we felt a little out of plac. But it was a very live city. Especially down town. But we needed to eat after exploring. So we decided to try loveless Cafe. They had pretty good reviews so we took a chance. When we got here it was a nice area. The restaurant wasn't too big in the inside. And they had plenty or photos of famous people who ate st their establishment. So that was a good sign. The waiter was really nice which always makes a good experience.. he started us off wirh the famous home made biscuits. And they were delicious. I am not a big biscuit person. But I love bread..they gave us a few options to out on the biscuits as well.....i.e...butter peach jelly.. strawberry jam.. and honey. All were good and I am not a big fan of strawberry biscuits. I decides to get a platter which gave me options of 3 different kinds of meat. The skin on chicken was good. But the chicken it self was refular.. nothing special to me. The catfish and flavored porkchop.. it was different but I enjoyed it. The Mac n cheese was a shocked. It did not look at chessy as it was. But was very good. Overall we enjoyed it. It is a bit of a drive from down gown if you prefer that area. So keep that in mind.

First time eating at loveless on a Tuesday afternoon. It wasn't busy at all and we got right in and the service was super fast. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. The food was delicious, everything was clean and tidy, all the staff was very polite and courteous. Did I mention the food was delicious,🤣. We both got the super sampler so we could try more. The meatloaf, smoked turkey, fried catfish and smoked pork chop were above average. We enjoyed them the most. Not to take away from the ham or chicken breast because they were good for sure. They were slightly above average. The sides were good as well Carmel sweet potato, hash brown casserole and green beans. The biscuits and jam were delicious as well. Thank y'all

What a neat spot! We caught the tail end of the lunch rush and had to wait a bit, but spent time exploring the various gifts shops and historic grounds. Service was professional, homey and well organized. Our party of 4 was seated within 40mins of walking in and using text reminders to come to the counter. The server was polite and attentive, she checked in and refilled items at the table often. The complimentary table biscuits are SO GOOD, almost didn’t have room for the actual meal 😅. Food came out in a timely manner and was delicious and rich. Well priced for the portion sizes and took home leftovers. Chairs, table, temperature and restroom were nice. A bit loud as it was busy around 1pm, but a fun southern treat and worth the wait for someone visiting from out of town! Would highly recommend.

Absolutely worth the wait! When you’re craving the perfect southern breakfast, grits and all, this place hits the spot! There are a TON of people when you get there, but the kitchen really does get the food out as quick as they can. I really enjoyed looking at all the celebrity photos up front, and didn’t mind the wait. The grits were so amazing that I bought a bag from the adorable gift shop 🥰

The place seems a little touristy, but it is worth eating at. The food is really good. We especially liked the Nashville hot chicken tenders, fried green tomatoes, and chess pie. Of course the biscuits and jelly are a great way to start the meal. The service was outstanding. The prices are quite reasonable. You won't leave hungry.

Unpopular opinion: for all of the hype surrounding this place, it was average. Biscuits were OK. Preserves were OK. The chicken fried steak was mostly breading. The gravy was thick and glue like. The eggs were good and the coffee was great. My server was decent. I didn't have much interaction but he was pleasant to deal with. Interior was clean and bright. Here's the Breakdown: Good eggs +1 star; great coffee +1 star; large portions +1 star. I'll go back and give it another shot - everyone tells me it's awesome and I must have just hit at a bad time.

7 of us rode down on the Harley’s from Indiana and had to stop and check this place out before hopping on the Natchez Trace! Cool place!! The hot biscuits are Amazing and the jams and apple butter are off the hook!! The wife and I shared the fried catfish with fries and slaw…..WOW!!!! Prepared excellent….Country style!!!! The others in our group had the fried chicken and chicken tenders, it was a bit over cooked they said but still flavorful. Great experience and neat atmosphere!!!!!!

WONDERFUL atmosphere and cool place. Our food though, was sub-par. And for what we got, way overpriced. BUT it was still good food. Smoked meatloaf was good, but didn’t live up to the hype. A tad too crunchy as well. Fried chicken (white meat) was not great; dry and chewy. Which was a big disappointment because the hype was BIG. Sweet tea was awesome. 💪

The fried pickles are awesome. The half rack of ribs was fine, not the best I’ve had but good. My wife’s salad was tasty. The baked beans were great, as was the cornbread. The fruit tea was wonderful. Not a huge fan of the potato salad. It was busy but everything tasted fine and came out reasonably quick. Just wish I liked the ribs more.

On a truly special day, we chose this venue for our celebratory outing. I opted for the fried chicken and apple jack, pairing it with a delectable cup of coffee. Meanwhile, my partner savored the smoked brisket and hash, supplementing it with a side of biscuit and gravy. While she relished her main dish, the biscuit and gravy left a bit to be desired. I recall another companion selecting the fried chicken and potatoes. Although my chosen dish held an intriguing appeal, I must admit the chicken didn't quite rank as the best I've experienced in Nashville. The atmosphere was undeniably enchanting, setting the mood perfectly. However, the service was a tad sluggish, which was the only minor setback. All in all, if we ever find ourselves in the vicinity again, we wouldn't hesitate to return. After all, why not relive the experience?

I’ll cut to the chase on this one. The brisket was like boot leather and the ribs were like trying to bite bark off a tree branch. I can (barely) understand if I had been there on a Tuesday and this was Day 3 of heating up weekend leftovers, but this was a Saturday at dinner time rush. If I was in charge of sending those meats out to customers instead of looking at them and saying we’re all out and not serving them, I would resign because I clearly wouldn’t know what I was doing. It was incredibly disappointing. That being said, the skillet mac n cheese was the star of the show. Why it’s only a $5 add-on and not a dinner entree, I’ll never know. The barbecue sauce was amazing and made the brisket and ribs palatable, but that shouldn’t be its job. The chicken and pork was perfect, but shouldn’t have overshadowed the other meats like it did. The beans and collard greens had too much vinegar for my liking, but I’ll admit that’s a personal flavor preference and won’t knock them for that. The coleslaw tasted store-bought and was disappointing for sure. If you can’t make something better than the local grocery deli can make, why is it on your menu? The brisket nachos were actually really good despite the beef jerky they were passing off as brisket. Maybe my expectations for good BBQ in Nashville were too high, but I doubt it. Cool space, good ambiance, and great staff though, so you make your own call. For me? I see no need to go back nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Walked here - with a recommendation from a nearby hotel - for an early dinner and drink. The dining area was moderately busy with tables of older tourists; I sat at the small bar, where you get a view of the whole smoked pork butts 😍 Service from the bartender was professional and friendly. The chicken fried chicken steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, and green beans sounded like a Southern classic so I went with that. The gravy and the beans were delicious! The breading on the chicken was great, but the chicken itself was chewy/overcooked. I only saw one performer, who was pleasant enough with a guitar and doing pop/country covers. (There was no cover charge.)

Well, this was only my first visit. But this is what happened. I ordered country fried steak. It was horribly over salted. I tried to eat it but simply could not. The fries were cold. We never got a refill of water. They did not seem that busy, but there were two or three large parties while we were there. No one asked how my food was. I would have told them. I did not want to raise a fuss because I was there with a co-worker who seemed to be enjoying his pork sandwich. He also had cold fries. If I stay near a pukett's in the future I will give them a second chance.

Neat spot in Nashville, great place for a family. The food was pretty good and service was welcoming. We had lunch so it was too early for live music but I bet it ties the whole experience together. The sweet tea was absolutely perfect, just the right sweet and what you’d expect from Nashville. We also got a vanilla milkshake with peach cobbler in- it was SO good! I’d eat here again, it was a great choice after just landing. Thanks!

Stopped in here on a Sunday night and sat at the bar. We had an absolutely fantastic bartender; I wish I had his name to mention him. He was very personable, joked around with us, and recommended the food to order. We have been here several times before, but it has been years since we have been able to return here. We did get our food, which came out hot and fresh. Although the ribs were classified as baby back, I think they were borderline being St. Louis style. I came in starving and ordered a full rack but could only finish a half rack. Were they bad? Absolutely not; I would order a half rack next time. The chicken was great as well as the fried pickles were also. The service was consistent as well as the food was also. Although it has been years since I have been here, this place gave me the same quality of food and level of service that I had always remembered. That is why they are getting five stars.

Loved the atmosphere of this classic and popular spot. Did not think to make reservations and was worried it was going to be packed, but rolled right in for a Sunday dinner. Our bartender was friendly and super knowledgeable about the drinks on tap and menu. Pictured and ordered here is their Small BBQ Taco Salad which to me, was not small at all, yet just the right portion. The beef brisket was juicy and can go without the sauces but the BBQ chipotle ranch that came with, as well as both the original and spicy BBQ sauce bottles on deck, complimented the meat and salad well. I also enjoyed the Cowboy Caviar - fancy name for the black-eyed pea salad! Did not know Puckett's brewed their own beer so had a glass of the Puckett's Brew, a cold and delicious American Light Lager. Snoozed on not ordering their Pimento Cheese Bites but will need to order that next time.

I need to start off by saying that we are very spoiled with delicious St. Louis BBQ so we have very high BBQ standards. With that being said, we were very disappointed with our lunch today. We got there shortly after opening at 11:00 on New Year's Eve Day. I wanted the 2 meat combo of brisket and sausage. They were out of sausage so I got the brisket platter with macaroni & cheese and potato salad. The brisket was tender, barely warm, and not much flavor. They were out of the sweet BBQ sauce so I tried the Jack's original BBQ sauce. I did not care for it at all. We also ordered the pulled pork sandwich with green beans and coleslaw for sides. The pulled pork was tasteless as well - again, it would have been nice to try the sweet BBQ sauce. Maybe it was just an "off day" but we will not be going back. The meals are fixed "buffet style" or "cafeteria style" so you go through the line, choose your meat and sides, pay, you get everything in a "to-go" plastic bag, fix your own drinks, choose your table, and eat. It is a neat looking restaurant and is in a prime location for the excitement in Downtown Nashville on Broadway. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. We think they were serving the leftover meats from last night and maybe that is the reason for our poor experience. If this is "the best BBQ in Nashville" then we feel sorry for the people in Nashville.

Located in the heart of the Strip on Broadway. The food was good. We ordered a pound of St Louis Ribs, cream corn, Mac n cheese, pulled pork, turkey, and beans. Everything was good. The ribs could have used a little more course salt and course pepper during cooking but over all they were good.

The line was long but moved very quickly. From outside the door to sitting down was less than 5 minutes. The food was tender and DELICIOUS! The white cornbread was a very tasty surprise. We shared Brisket, ribs, chicken and turkey. Potato salad, cole slaw was a sweet apple cider vinegrette, green beans with ham and new potatoes, mac and cheese. Needless to say we have leftovers. Highly recommend Jack's.

This place has HANDS down the best BBQ in the city. Any time I go through Nashville I make it a point to stop here. There a few locations, but this one is definitely the best. My go to is the Ribs. Something I also love is that they offer all different types of sauces, so I can get KC style because I enjoy the smokiness.

Well, I gotta say; hands down, probably the best BBQ ribs I've ever had! The ribs will satisfy you. I ordered five ribs, and could only eat three plus the baked beans and Cole slaw. Excellent food. I highly recommend it you're looking for serious BBQ.

First time in Nashville and while looking up places to eat, I figured I'd hit a BBQ joint, since I'm in the South. Jack's is highly rated and the first review said it was the best pork shoulder they'd ever had. There was a line of maybe 15 in front of me, which is a good sign. I ordered a three meat plate consisting of brisket, pork shoulder, and St. Louis-style ribs, plus potato salad and mac n cheese. I really wanted this to be great, but the meats were all dryer and less flavorful than I'd hoped. Most places don't seem to do well with pork shoulder and I don't know why. In this case, the pork shoulder/butt was more flavorful than the average BBQ joint, but also very dry despite shoulders being filled with fat. The brisket was too dry and had very little smoke flavor. The ribs had a bit more flavor, but were dry and chewy (even dryer and chewier than back ribs ought to be, but these were fattier St. Louis-style ribs, so they should have been moist, meaty, and flavorful). The potato salad was fine, but not memorable, as it lacked flavor. The mac n cheese...creamy, but again lacked flavor and the noodles were mushy. My plate was supposed to come with bread, but didn't. The bathroom upstairs has graffiti all over it, but is relatively clean. The atmosphere of Jack's is typical of a BBQ joint. You can buy t-shirts. For a BBQ joint with counter service, the price is a bit steep. My plate + soda + 20% tip came close to $40. The servers weren't rude, but they weren't all that friendly either. Overall, I wouldn't return. It's fine BBQ depending on your other options. I've had worse, but I won't return to those other places either. I've been to far better and paid less. I should mention I smoke my own meats, so I probably expect more than the average customer, but I'd be disappointed if I smoked and served this to family and friends.

Jack’s is incredible. I’m not a Nashville local, but I believe it’s one of the premiere BBQ spots in town after trying out a number of spots over the course of a few trips to town. The brisket is absolute butter, the pulled chicken is excellent and the staff has been extremely friendly in my experience. Huge fan of this joint that has such a local, homegrown feel to it.

Good barbecue 🍖 right on the broadway strip. Great location and interior has a cool homey feel for something right in the middle of all the action. They also have a nice patios area, that’s where I ate. The pulled pork sandwich was great, corn bread was a little dry. And I’m not a huge fan of the mac & cheese but that might not really be their fault. I’m more used to a baked style of mac & cheese, which unfortunately does not seem to be common in Tennessee at all. Other than that is was an overall good experience.

Great service and customer care from Jack's BBQ, I ordered ribs and brisket combo with Mac, apples, onions. The beef Brisket was insanely good, the ribs were disappointing, but the Brisket made up for it. They have other options for meat too so I suggest if you're down in Nashville give Jack's a try.

Coming from England we don’t have many bbq places, so when in the USA we hit them fast. The food at Jacks was stunning! The brisket was awesome, melt in the mouth and delicious in taste. Ribs were fall off the bone tender, sausage was extremely tasty. Sides were all great, queue was out of the door and I know why, flavour town.

Merchants is a really nice place. We stopped in for a drink and an appetizer and were impressed by the bourbon flights which we enjoyed. We also enjoyed the duck fat tots - there were a lot of tots and three dipping sauces (smoked ketchup - delicious , creole honey mustard, and spicy ranch) all of which were good but the smoked ketchup was really delicious. Also, at the bar we got popcorn that is flavored with ranch dressing powder - very good as well. Will definitely return.

Great lunch atmosphere with really good food. Service was very attentive. The duck fat tater tots was delicious as was the french dip. Cheese burger was ok, still delicious but I would recommend another choice.

I do a lot of work trips which usually translate into customer entertainment. Located right on the touristy hustle & bustle of the strip in Nash Vegas sits Merchants. Fairly popular I had to try it & booked a table in their upstairs venue. The food here was fabulous & the drinks were fairly tasty. Like other comparable places in Nashville I felt as though the overall price could have been more reasonable. Although it should go on your foodie list none the less.

This place gets slammed. However, if you're single like me and all alone in this world it's fairly easy to grab a seat at the bar during the day. Excellent whiskey/bourbon list and the pork chop was delicious.

I’m always a fan of merchants. The steaks are always cooked perfectly. The new menu has some changes for the good like the flat iron which is one of my favorite steaks. They’re brussels are a great side cover with bacon and crispy. You may be asking why only 4 stars? Well it’s simple if you’ve ever read any of my reviews about deviled eggs. I can’t stand odd numbered egg halves. At least in this case it’s 5 not just 3 halves, but the missing half from on of the eggs on the plate that had to be cooked always loses a star. I get it’s more visually appealing but to get 5 halves you cooked 3 eggs…so just hand over the missing half :). I’ve even had this discussion with chef robert Irvine who agrees.

Wanted to go to one of the traditional Honky Tonks on Broadway but ended up at this lovely place! Service was great, very friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. Particularly liked the indie rock music (Franz Ferdinand, Foals etc.) that was playing in the background. Weather outside wasn’t great so we stayed for a bit longer which wasn’t a problem. Can highly recommend this place and the Moscow Mule which comes with very yummy candied ginger!

The food here is amazing and the food comes out quickly!! Our server, Finn, was absolutely the best! He made talking to him so easy and he was very knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the Sassy Mel-sometbing oysters and they tasted very crunchy and a bit salty. Definitely different from what I've had, but in a good way! I also got the Belle. Don't be fooled by the size, I was absolutely stuffed after I finished the filet. For drinks, we got the blackberry tea and strawberry cocktail. I thought the blackberry tea cocktail was more fruity than the strawberry cocktail. You can't go wrong with either!

We were enticed to try for the All Day Oyster Happy Hour special. The oysters were fresh and delicious. For entrees, we tried the Pork Porterhouse and Fresh Catch Special. The pork was cooked properly, but the sauce was mismatched to pork. It had a chipotle spice flavor that may work for some but missed the mark with us. The fingerling potatoes and mushrooms were on point. The fresh catch special was delicious, but the small fish portion was disappointing. While the plate was aesthetically pleasing to the eye, I left hungry. You can see the fresh bok choy in the photos, which was lovely but basically inedible. It was tough to cut with a butter knife, and I left 98% on the plate. I was excited to see the bok choy with the dish (likely why I actually ordered it), but it should have been chopped before cooking, so it would have been more tender and edible. There were too many peppers and not enough mushrooms. The fish flavor was good, but this is a dish for someone desiring to eat a smaller meal. The TomKats old fashioned and house wine were average. Upon entry, we wanted to sit outside to enjoy the weather and people (tourist) watch, but were told by the hostess, "There are no servers outside tonight" (on a Saturday night in Nashville??!). What a waste of space and downtown atmosphere on a great weather night. Being a local, this saddened me. I really wanted to love this place. This was an average meal with average service, and sadly, nothing that stood out as exceptional.

So I’ll start by saying it could be that they are dealing with the effects of Covid and being understaffed BUT we had a group of 12 and reservations. We were sat right away. Took a minute to get our drink order in. Then once we got the food order in we waited over 1.5hr! We had a mix up with oyster orders and the waiter was a little flippant over something that was not our fault. They had someone bringing out food (seemed like his first day) dressed in regular street clothes walking around with plates looking confused. Food was good, at least mine was. We had been given high reviews in form of a referral when this place was recommended. Nice restaurant very appealing to the eye but we were disappointed with how long it took to get our food. We were at the restaurant for over 2 hrs when all was said and done.

By far one of the best steakhouses I have ever been to! I did a lot of research to make sure we had a great Birthday celebration while we were in Nashville and I am very happy with this choice. The filet was delicious, our server Eric was exceptional, everyone was nice/friendly and the restaurant was clean! The prices were reasonable for the area, portions and quality. I highly recommend this restaurant... we will be back!

This place is fantastic! Let me tell you! The food is spot on and sooo well cooked. Oyster choices are lovely. Steaks were perfect! Drinks were well made too. Deviled eggs were just the right spicey. Crab cake was tastey. The pasta and sauce with the fried chicken was super good. But what takes the cake? The servers! They are just so fun and nice and got everything right even in all the chaos at our table! What good sports. I will definitely come back here the next time I'm in Nashville.

Had a fantastic dinner with friends on a Thursday night. I got the half rack of ribs and they fell right off the bones. I got the butternut squash with goat cheese and sweet potato grits as my sides. Both were delicious! You get a basket of little biscuits that were fantastic and all portion sizes were very generous. The entrees are all heavy on meat but there are lots of great side dish items a vegetarian could order instead of an entree.

Bbq shrimp app was good! You get about 5-6 shrimp. Old fashioned and strawberry cocktail were both good Steak seemed to be a little more done that medium, but it’s mostly from the age. Overall great place! We arrived 15 minutes before they opened with no reservation and were seated at approximately 5pm!

Overpriced for what it is, typical for the area of Nashville it is in. If you want an affordable meal here, the fried chicken salad comes with three large cuts of chicken atop a blue-cheese salad and was filling, tasty, and felt satisfying for the price. The chicken is crispy without being crunchy and table hot sauce adds fire. Good Old Fashioned and standard beer prices for downtown Nashville. Others in our party seemed pleased with the oysters and steaks, but the price points here seemed out of alignment with the food itself - that is likely just me though. Try for yourself!

Very delicious and desirable cuisine! The oysters are excellent 👌🏼 The steak was perfect 🤌🏼 Definitely recommend the blackberry tea cocktail 🥰 it's heavenly. This is a perfect date night upscale restaurant. So many delicious options on the menu we will definitely be going back to try more 😋 There's a lot of over priced under performing restaurants around Nashville, and I assure you this is NOT one of them. You will be fully satisfied with the quality, ambiance, and service of the Southern, I guarantee it 💯 Do yourself a favor and book your reservation!
