It's always good to visit this zoo with good varieties of animals and birds. New animals are also filling the place as the old ones are expiring. Maintenance has increased tremendously with good focus on customer experience and safety. Glass barricades are a good addition but it has to be cleaned occasionally. Feels that animals are well maintained with good flow of adoptions in the recent days. No special value for animal adopters (which is seen in other zoos). Even a small gesture like a returnable ID card would also attract more people. Even adoption boards for less than 20k amount are not put. Parking space, entrance and other amenities are increasing day by day, which attracts more and more tourists. Overall, a fine place for 2 to 3 hours of time.

One of the finest Zoo's you can find in Karnataka. The zoo is very well maintained and it is plastic free. The animals are well looked after. The entrance ticket is affordable too and the zoo has a complete biological ecosystem and covered with bio diversified environment with varities of unique plants and trees. Visited on a Sunday morning. Ticket fee is Rs. 100 for adults. Entered quickly with no waiting/queue for ticket purchase. Didn't really expect much visiting a zoo as adults. However, we did end up enjoying every bit of the 3 hours spent in the zoo. The variety of animals and bird species with details of each mentioned in a visible and informative way, was quite good. The place is well maintained with all facilities/amenities available. Total walking distance is around 4km. You can opt for an electric buggy if you cannot walk (extra Rs. 200 per person) They have a restaurant somewhere mid-way through the zoo. Food, snacks and Beverages are available. Quality and price is decent. Recommended to visit in the morning, as it gets quite hot in the afternoon and also must animals go inside the shelter or are inactive post noon. Overall a must visit for people of all ages visiting Mysore.

It is a wonderful place. A must visit place for all animal lovers. The park is clean and well maintained. The setup is convenient and the sign boards really helped to walk through. Paid mini vehicle service is available for those who find it difficult to move along. The management takes care of the security of the visitors by ensuring the facilities are safe. Some parts are still under construction. I guess they are expanding the park which is good.

Visited on a weekday afternoon and it was a little bit crowded. There is paid parking available on the opposite side of the main entrance and an underground passage will take you directly inside the zoo. Entry charges are Rs. 100 per head. It takes around 2 hours to cover the entire zoo on foot and requires a walk of around 2.5-3 km. Use the signboards and maps placed on the walkway to make sure you don't miss any section. Zoo premises are well maintained and there are several birds/animals present. For kids, it would be a treat to the eyes. I would recommend visiting in the morning hours to have the best experience. Carry an umbrella and water bottle to stay hydrated. There is a cafeteria towards the end for food and drinks.

One of the tourist attractions spot in Mysore apart from Mysore palace. During weekends it is very crowded. The zoo is very big. Almost all animals are there. Kids can enjoy their whole Sunday over there. Also the place is very greenery and eye soothing. A must visit place in Mysore.

The temple is very clean and situated on the top of Chamundi hill. The routes are very scenic and breathtaking. There are two tickets available either you'll get direct entry or you can enter through the queue..We visited in Friday and it was quite rush as it's considered very auspicious day..Also you'll find nandii at a short distance.

Nice place for a visit, i went during rainy Saturday, crowd was very less. There was no queue I went inside directly and saw the goddess. The whole Mysore city can be seen from the top. If your health permits try using the stairs (1000 steps) once for going up and coming down.

Temple is beautiful and it is located in the chamundi hills. One Amazing thing about this temple was a gallery was opposite the temple which is donated by a Muslim resource. Unity in diversity. The structure is nice and really impressed by an asuran statue at the entrance

A great atmosphere. This temple is located on a small hill top. It's one of the most beautiful and the oldest temple of the area. The view on the way to the temple and even from the hill is just breathtaking, especially in the evenings. Its great to visit in the mornings or in the evenings to enjoy the weather. I will suggest not a stand in line instead of taking special tickets and after you take laddu for every special ticket.

Review Date (28-6-23): Chamundeshwari is called by the people of Karnataka as Nada Devi (ನಾಡ ದೇವಿ), which means state Goddess. It is situated at the elevation of around 3300 ft from the mean sea level. --> It is believed that Goddess Durga slayed the demon king Mahishasura on the top of this hill which was ruled by him. The place was later known as Mahishooru (Place of Mahisha). The British changed it to Mysore and later Kannadized into Mysuru. --> The Chamundeshwari Temple is considered as a Shakti Peetha and one among the 18 Shakti Peethas. --> The worst thing here is management of queue line for Dharshan. The Rs.100/- or Rs.30/- or d free Darshan has almost no difference bcz it took 2½ to 3 hrs for Rs.100/- nd all queue lines got mixed at almost same time. Toilets r there but some less maintenance. --> Flowers, coconut stalls people say to keep footwear for free but we should compulsory buy at them. But infact there is a plenty of Footwear storage for Rs.10/- for 2 pairs. So no one need to leave their footwear at stalls.. Monkeys are quite more so don't keep banana type eatables directly in hand.

A gorgeous Hare Krishna temple. Even on a weekday, it was super busy, but we didn't have to wait and the queue moved quickly. Great view of Bengaluru from outside the temple too. Please be aware that photography is not permitted within the temple.

It's a unique architecture where there are 3 halls, one in front and other two on the either sides of the Pulpit (where Father stands for preaching). People can pray from all three sides (cross ➕ like structure). The colorful light rays enter the church from the stained glass windows of the church. It's a Beautiful church. It's a beautiful historical site , the sculpture and the story engraved are a treat for eye. There are no physical tickets available, need online ticket bookings. The watchman are very courteous and helpful. There are also few handicraft shops right outside the temple with some cool wooden carved stuffs.

This is an amazing spiritually and beautifully carved Nandhi statue situated little over half way to Chanundeshwari Temple on top of Chamundi hill. You can reach this location either by foot by climbing stairs from Mysuru or by vehicle through dedicated paved one way road. There is also a Cave Shiva temple right next to Nandhi statue. This area been well maintained, there are many vendors including food and beverage. Watch for monkies because they love your food.

Sri Nandi Temple in Mysore is the bliss to visit when you plan for the Mysore trip from your place. The temple is very near to the Chamundeshwari temple and is just half the distance to the temple there is a 5m tall idol of Nandi the sacred bull of Lord Shiva. The temple premises are very pleasant and a must worth a visit for the devotional tourists. Huge sized granite stone Nandi very well caved and nicely placed on hill. Nandi is mount of Lord Shiva and one finds and one finds Nandi at all Shiva temples.It also called Nandidurg or Nandi Betta. This is Big Mandi a top Chamundi Hills Mysore. Must visit if you are in Mysore. Nandi is not at top most location of the hill but a little down. Either you park in top and walk down through steps a little or on way up or down park your car and walk sideways to be here. We need to walk a maximum 5 minutes. There are lot of stalls on sideways selling cut fruits and sugarcane juice but try them if you are confident of your stomach. A little walk down the steps from Nandi you see a marvellous view of entire Mysore don't miss that. Its the best view one can get ,The large of the Nandi is beautifully carved from a single rock in the ancient history of the Mysuru.

Very silent and peaceful place it is, the giant Nandi statue is located in the jungle of Chamundi hills. This is one of the sacred hills in India. The view from here is magnificent and you can see the entire Mysore city.

It's a great place to visit once you visit chamundeshwari temple in Mysore. It's the biggest Nandi I have ever seen. Usually only Nandi is rare to be seen, I wonder where is Shiva in this case. Nandi is mesmerising. Very beautiful. Road to reach there is under construction but car can reach there from other way which is not tar but motorable. Steps are also available be very rarely used by anyone. Kids love to see this big sculpture. I would love to visit again.

Nandi Mandir is there en route to Chamundi temple. Currently access to Nandi is limited due to road under construction and vehicle have to go slow to reach temple. Carvings on Nandi are worth to observe and not to be missed.

About 16 feet in height and 24 feet long, this Nandi atop the Chamundi Hills is the third largest in India. The creation of this colossal image is attributed to Dodda Devaraja Wodeyar (1659–1673) on of the illustrious Maharajas of Mysore. It is the same maharaja who also commissioned the 1000 stepped stairway to the hilltop. More than 350 years old, this is one of the oldest icons in Mysore. The Nandi is located almost at the ¾th the way to the hilltop. The main road to hilltop arrives at a "View Point" junction. The right fork leads to Nandi (2km) and the straight road leads to the main shrine of Chamundeswari further at the top of the hill. The 2km road to nandi is broken, so the only way to get there is walk 2kms. The road is flat and takes 20-30 min to reach. There is an old shiva temple in the cave behind the nandi.

The room was packed with all facilities like a balcony with a beautiful city view plus bath tub kitchen living and the most important bedroom... everything was top notch with a single call service. I had breakfast there this morning and dinner tonight. All were well beyond my expectations. Everything is so fresh. .Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly specially Nikita & barsha &roshan kumar was so kind.And the food is delicious. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price.

Serving staff are very much lethargic!! Arrogant & unresponsive. They have no thurst nor interest to provide good service to their customers. Why one should go to such expensive place and spend so much for nothing! Horrible service. Also the food is very much bland. Hope the management take some more feedback from their patrons and change their entire kitchen and serving team. My best wishes.. I would never like to return again.

The location of this hotel was calm and quiet. It was easy for us to visit nearby places from this location. Room, food, service, ambience was wonderful. You can have a quiet stroll around the hotel. They have live music during dinner and guests can participate in singing. Everything about this hotel was great except cigarette smell seeped into the room through air vents.

You can skip this one if you're looking for buffet. Average, wasn't happy with experience as I have been to restaurants by Radisson before. Had buffet lunch and was disappointed with taste and list of items. May be they'll look into this and be able to provide suitable service.

The buffet breakfast and dinner here was great. They had new dishes every day and a dosa/omelet station in the mornings. Even though it was buffet, there was always staff walking around checking on what you needed and brought items to the table. Both the food and staff made for a great experience!

I’m writing a detailed review about the terrible experience we had at the Country Inn. We were staying at the hotel for one night only and at the hotel’s restaurant, one of the hotel employees started telling us about an offer at the hotel that we could use for future visits. Long story short, he took my husband’s phone pretending to show us how this “discount” works and then proceeded to open my partner’s tripadvisor account, log in, and leave a glowing review naming himself and his other colleague as the best employees and singing praises of country inn service. We were absolutely aghast when we realised what had happened. I’ve never faced such unprofessional behaviour before. If you look at their tripadvisor page, there are similar fake reviews. We spoke to the manager and although he agreed to talk to these employees, I don’t think they’re concerned about being called out for this absolute invasion of privacy.

Me and my mom visited the hotel after reading reviews on food and services. Firstly, the location was really far from the tourist places, and when we finally reached there, the staff left us unattended. It took 20 minutes for them to come and take our order and another 40 mins to bring simple food such as Paneer Paratha and chai. The food was awful, the paneer was sour and so was the dahi served with it. The Pizza I order had uncooked pizza base. The staff was busy in their daily chores and not one single waiter/waitress was attending us. After requesting for the bill, they gave us bill with some extra charge of rs 85, which was deducted after I pointed out. All in all, it was a terrible experience for us and I don’t recommend to go there. Maybe they give better services for the people who stays there, but their restaurant service is awful.

Oyster Bay is a fine dining restaurant with good ambience. All the visuals and experiences of the places is fine. As a vegetarian, I was not totally satisfied with the food in terms of taste. The pricing of food in the place is a bit on the higher side. A couple of my friends who had non-vegetarian food said it was good and I'd suggest the non-vegetarian food lovers to give a try over here. The food service takes some time. It's a good place to hangout with friends or family or both. The place is easily identifiable from the main road.

Am from Pune , Loved their grilled chicken , pesto pasta butter fried prawns and sizzler . Spinach cheese corn Tikki. The mango tango twist drink was like Pani puri ka Pani . Something ok to taste .

Had a great experience visiting this restaurant.We ordered panner tikka which was sooo yummy 😋. It was one of the best panner tikka I had. Service was fast and great. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful .

Very good ambiance. Price is a bit high but the quality and taste worth it. Prawns and their tandoor chicken chilly are must try items.

Awesome ambience and Good Fresh food but Service needs significant improvement. Long wait times and that too after reminding couple of times. We went by Google timings and found out they are only serving limited items from Menu and asked to come back after 2 hours. When asked the staff, they said no body listens to their feedback as other customers also complained the same in past but no action taken by management when they shared this feedback which is disappointing for such restaurants. It’s a shame! Ample road side parking available as it is outside City centre. Just for food and ambience, it is recommended but be sure to check timings and be ready for high wait times specially during weekends!

They have an amazing varieties of food and if actually you ask what is there most favourite aur best food available then it is there Biryani but we have tried all different foods like stick chicken mutton ponds I just love the prawns they also showcase a chef special menu everyday which is available you can order as per your choice lots of different seating arrangements are available such as covered close with fans open air with candle lights and even big screen to watch movies what is organised parties or what some game on. Loads of parking is available and the best part about this place is that it it is open till late night show even after officer can go there and children have food and snacks

Quite good location in quiet surrounding. Parking outside of the restaurant by the road. Sufficient variety of Indian and multicuisine dishes. Restaurant serves non-alcoholic and also alcoholic beverages. Friendly staff. Place gets quite busy on weekends...booking table in advance recommended.

The place is quite average when it comes to the flavours. Undoubtedly, the ambience is quite decent but I feel the out seating area feels depressing. The food is hardly visible in that candle light alone. I have been here a couple of times. It's a place favourable for dates and decent catch ups. The music was very creepy when I last visited. And the pan fried noodles tasted horrible. I would suggest going with Chinese starters and Indians. TBH, I feel mysore has a lot more better options now.

During my recent travels, I stumbled upon a hidden gem of a cafe that left a lasting impression on me. Tucked away in a quaint corner, this small cafe exceeded my expectations in terms of both taste and service. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality Let's talk about the food, which was undoubtedly the highlight of my visit. The sandwiches and pizzas offered at this cafe were nothing short of extraordinary. The sandwich I ordered was a perfect balance of fresh ingredients, a medley of flavors that danced on my taste buds. The bread was impeccably toasted, providing a satisfying crunch to complement the delectable fillings. As for the pizza, it was a culinary masterpiece. The crust was thin and crispy, and the toppings were of the highest quality, harmoniously blending together to create a symphony of taste. The ambiance of the cafe was cozy and inviting, with a charming decor that exuded a relaxed atmosphere. It was evident that the owners had taken great care in creating a space where customers could unwind and savor their meals.

The price was decent. The food was average. The place not so okay. Just the dining area was made to look cool. Only if they had left a little more place for the restroom area instead of wasting the whole place for dining in. Such good place has one common restroom “men and women” had to use that single restroom. Even an average looking hotel would have separate restrooms. Now while you think why talk about a restroom so much in a hotel my wife and cousin saw a woman and her child falling down slipping near the restroom area that is how the place was. Probably the owners should have concentrated on planning this one. Also the service was worse. Had to wait for a long time even after calling out on people serving the food they were like yes and they started roaming here and there again. The irony is they charged 50rs for that awful so called service. I really wish there were negative scores or something instead of stars. If you have lot of patience maybe try out this place. Better restaurants are available around Mysore than this one. Please don’t see the images and go. Totally not worth it. Maybe insta post worth it. Not money worth it. 3 stars just for the food nothing else.

Wonderful pizzeria and dessert stop in Mysuru. Centrally located, possibly the only thing missing around is a dedicated parking. Road side parking van be tricky on busy afternoons or evenings coupled with the possibility of vehicle being towed. Prices are reasonable and both indoor and outdoor seating is available. Service is a tad bit slow. Drinks are wonderful and refreshing at this all vegetarian place. Good food and good vibes.

The old house is a must visit Italian restaurant in the heart of Mysore. If you are planning to have English breakfast then u are at the right place and also u will get a nice pan cake and sandwich for breakfast. Hot ginger honey lemon tea is a must try....... The pizza and mocktails are good. Both Indoor and outdoor seating is available. The staff is friendly and service is also good. Bit crowded on the weekends so i would love to visit on the weekdays. Limited parking place..... Overall must visit this place👍❤️

Italian cafe/ Restaurant in Mysore. Place looks very good with that decor. Ambience is very good. Very good staff. Taste wise - really good. Loved their thin crust pizza. Also their tea pot was very good. Check with staff for the quantity before ordering Digital payment yes accepted.

Great pizzas and pasta. Nice outdoor seating options. Reasonable (although a tad expensive) pricing. The pizza was amazing. Staff are courteous but need more help during busy hours. A must visit when you are in Mysore.

Lovely ambience with outdoor seating. The Korean bun is something we would travel miles for, to eat again. The waiters were very pleasant, serving with a smile. A must visit if in Mysore even if you're a non vegetarian like us.

One of the classic restaurants in town. Tastes unique. It's got cool ambience too.. certainly a great hangout place. Price are slightly on the higher side but i feel it's worth it. Weekends are usually crowded.. i would love visiting during weekdays..

Happened to dine in this place during my Mysore trip. This place is very beautiful and pleasant. It's a vegetarian/vegan restaurant, there were lot of dishes to choose from. Wood fired pizza was great, very good base, fresh ingredients. Veg lasagna was very flavorful... It's definitely a must visit place!

An worst place... Not so good nor tasty... Very bad food served here! Yukk! I suggest not to buy here ! Kindoff uncooked rice, slimy chicken , not worthy of your hard earned money! Simply I can say ts total waste of money and health! And in chicken fried rice hardlyy 2-3 pieces of chicken u can find and it's disgusting too! I suggest u not to go here nor order here as they r giving 50% off in swiggy and zomato! These food are not worthy of money u pay for em! And the Cleanliness is like forgotten topic here, they do some tikka of chicken n all u can see colours of chicken if they couldnt sell t same day till they sell t , t will d der it's like u r eating 3-5 days old chicken! What a great way to loose good health! Better to stay out! This is as of my experience and how I have seen the place! Worst place!

Lots of room to improvise on the quality, taste and the spread as well.. Options were limited and kindly don't order any type of breads ( naan, kulcha, Paratha, rotis) as you will get a black colour charcoal base!! Their breakfast buffet was good though ( could reduce the quantity of salt in general would be a good practice for the chef's)

My experience during the stat at the hotel and the Food i had at Lauppu Buffet was very average. I have read reviews of awesome buffet of this hotel but i was disappointed when i had it . Literally 2 or 3 items were saviour. Buffet rush is like crazy for such average taste. Cocktails from the Bar were ok not great. What disappointed further was inspite of the room being centrally AC it was crazy hot . I had to ask 2 times if ac was working. I was told because of the crowd but then then the ac needed to be cranked up to make the surroundings cool. U cant enjoy a buffet sweating . Can you believe outside seating was cooler then the ac seating. Ordered Steam rice and Daal fry/tadka for dad and i was told it wud be made seperately. But it was the same mushy rice and the daal from the buffet. At an exorbitant 700 plus gst for 2 dishes that was not expected. Dinner cost us almost 5k with cocktails and it was not value for money. Breakfast was included in our booking. Both days apart from 2 3 items everything was repeated. Scrambled eggs had egg shell in it , juice was tasteless. Sunny side up egg was oily. Ordered but never got the dosa. Getting a seat was tough and it was a chaos during both breakfast and dinner buffets. Their non veg and veg thali was on the list during our visit as seen and influenced by a huge food blogger but after the 1st night we decided not to have meals in the hotel. Google says its a 5 star property but the food and arrangements are that of 3 star. May be becos of rush during the long weekend but nevertheless food being the most important part of stay for me and specially booking the room becos of the food review I was very disappointed. Rooms . Room was very small . We were 3 people and booked the room seeing the pics in the website which looked huge. Even for 2 people room was smaller than other star property i stayed in. For 14k for 2 nights and 3 days i found the deal not value for money. Definitely didnt meet my expectations.

They claim that they are first 5 star hotel of mysore.But i suspect the standards are far from being 5 star.we went on a rainy day for la uppu restaurant and the floors were full of water and there was nobody to clear that untill we left for that evening.it was slippery and buffet they charge 900+taxes but no much items.only one soup and for starters i waited more than half an hourto get the starters and even curries and rotis are also not upto the mark.desserts also limited.service also not satisfactory.very limited staffs and lack of co-ordination.overall lot of improvements required when it comes to Hospitality and it should be same for everyone.

Food was just ok and service was pathetic. They have just 2 starters for buffet and very limited options for a price of 900+ gst. They did not care to serve water for 10 mins. Ordered roti and it came after 15 mins, in spite of having only 10 guests. Their attitude is like if you want you eat else choose your options. Also the hospitality should be equal for everyone. Never expected from a restaurant inside a 5 star hotel.

Despite reading several negative reviews, I decided to have breakfast and dinner at this establishment for two days. Unfortunately, the service was quite disappointing. The staff frequently forgot our orders, and we had to remind them multiple times. We even had to remind them twice to bring our dosa, which never arrived. I couldn't help but notice that the staff seemed to prioritize foreign guests, often neglecting local guests like myself. The breakfast and dinner buffets were average at best and didn't seem to provide good value for money. To make matters worse, some dishes were placed in obscure locations that were easy to miss. The only redeeming aspect was the dessert spread, which I would give a 1-star rating. However, I'm not sure if the Horlicks Mysore Pak is worth trying, as traditional Mysore Pak is a much better option. There are plenty of other food options nearby, and I highly recommend exploring them instead, as many of the foreign guests staying at the Grand Mercure seem to do.
