Very impressive monument very well worth the visit. The only negative is that there are no signs explaining the different parts of the monument. Wikipedia has a good post- read it before you go.

I didn’t see many reviews about the picnic ($4,500 pesos) so I thought I’d leave one. We started with a 40-minute tour which was intimate and informative, but felt quick. We made a stop in the vineyard, then by the tanks, then the barrels, and finally the bottling area. Then, we were walked out to an empty spot in the garden next to all the tables. It was cute and well organized, but we were the only ones and definitely felt like second class citizens. We would’ve preferred to either be more isolated so people weren’t looking “down” on us or to just have a table. The temperature was great but sitting still, we got hot very quickly. We asked for an umbrella and it took about 30 minutes. Other than that, the meat and cheese board was delicious. We got the sweet Torrantes and it was phenomenal. The focaccia bread was my favorite! Great boutique experience.

Visited this Boutique Family-Owned Winery last April and the experience was amazing. The tour was very informative and helpful and the quality of the wines unbelievable. It’s a shame I haven’t found the wines yet here in the USA. Planing visiting this vineyard again on next trip to the region.

Great! Excellent food, the staff is very kind and wines are tasty. The vibe is very quite, it's a good place to relax, and spend a time in nature, good company and enjoy different wines.

Great winery, and the tour and tasting with Alejandro was outstanding - his knowledge of the wine making process is awesome, and he will answer even small questions with great care and filed with passion. Plus the restaurant's staff, Cesar and Blanca were super nice as well!

We had an excellent wine tasting experience at this winery. Big thank you to Aldana, she was the sweetest guide that you cannot understand how the time passes. It was like a private tour to only me and my husband, we felt so special and enjoyed a lot. I learned too many things about wines and had a lovely boutique experience by visiting a small family winery like Bonfanti. We had the “diferencia de terroir” tour and at the end totally understood how the total of soil, environment and climate elements change the taste of wine not only in different countries but in the same city as well. All the wines we tasted were so distinctive and it was quite an experiment to try them again after the small appetizers and see how their taste changes. It definitely improved our palate and helped us to understand the sense of wines better. Lo recomiendo muy fuerte!

Beautiful winery and surroundings. Wine tours here are generally more expensive than most other local vineyards - I did the Renaissance Malbec tour (8,500 Pesos). The guide was very friendly and informative, although I felt that I didn't get the value from the tour compared to the price. Very good selection of wines, especially on the premium tour.

We did the Wine and Music tour. The winery is beautiful and the view of the Andes is amazing. The wine tour was good. The wine and music tasting was fun, but I was expecting live music and the music was played from a speaker. The wines were tasty. Outside of the tour was staff was not very nice. Everywhere we went they asked us what we were doing and it felt like they were trying to push us out. Overall, more expensive than other experiences that give you a lot more.

I already visited several wineries arround the world. This winery is the most beautiful I ever visited. There people are very friendly and helpful. If you are a winelover, Catena-Zapata is a MUST.

We visited for the second time in October 2021. The wines are excellent (among the very best produced in Argentina), the winery, the surrounding fields are beautifull, with superb views to the mountains, and the staff really warm and welcoming. The wine tasting, led with insight and charme by Ivan, the in house sommelier, is probably the best in Mendoza. Book early, as it fills quickly.

Amazing experience, totally worth the visit. We started with a fun but insightful tour. Then we moved to the 7 course menu. And it was lovely! Every dish was well thought through and nicely paired with a wine.

We had the best dinner at Casa Vigil, mostly thanks to Santi who walked us through a six course wine pairing. Some stand out dishes included the Cabaret Franc, the ribs main dish, and the blue cheese foccacia bread, paired with your choice of olive oil, which was amazing.

This place is a must go in Mendoza. For real! The food is out of this world. The service is amazing. They are very polite and work as a team. They have different option for menu. I tried 7 course menu which is pared with 6 different wine option (feel free to ask for more). They also have vegan options and let me tell you. They are as amazing as regular course. Price is on the upper side for Mendoza but worth every penny. Plus you get a tour at the winery before diner and get to know the beautiful history behind the Bodega El Enemigo. Reservation required ahead don't forget (super easy done online).

What can I say about this place the 7 course meal is out of this world the gastronomic experience you will have will bring all your palette to heaven along the 7 types of wine …. This was a once if a lifetime experience I love it❤️❤️❤️❤️I was here for my birthday

We’re not wine buffs, but this was a winery worth visiting. We got a nice tour of the grounds, including the interesting concept behind the name, and the curious artistic direction throughout the property. The food was great, and they even gave us a portion of ribs on the house to try, which was exceedingly generous. Wines were topped up if one’s stomach could fit it ;). It would be nice to sit in the garden in warm weather.

Hidden gem of Mendoza! Absolutely lovely ambiance and amazing food. We were lucky to get a reservation as the place is quite busy even on the week nights. A must visit while in Mendoza !

I had an amazing dinner experience here last night. The meal was exquisite and elegant. Each dish was creative and innovative and presented in a unique manner. Our waiter was attentive and spoke English for us. We did the wine pairing and the wine was well selected and lovely. It was a special and memorable evening.

Delicious food, good service. I took the 2 steps menu and it was more than enough for me. They give you a small cheese table and some drinks as a courtesy before starting to eat. Their wine selection is fantastic, you can go to their huge cava and pick your wine. The place is always full so either you make a reservation a week in advance or arrive around 8 pm when they have some free tables.

This restaurant is a must if you go to Mendoza. One of the best restaurants we have experienced while in Argentina. The service was top notch and the food was amazing. I highly recommend this place. Thank you to the staff who made our honeymoon so special.

Amazing experience for us (Belgians) in Mendoza. Was recommended this restaurant and it did not dissapoint! The filet cut like butter and was unbelievable.

Had the four course menu with wine pairing. Wow disappointed. Main courses: trout and pasta unacceptably bad neither of us finished the course. Dessert average: grape and rice. Starters: pawns quite good, goat very chewy. Flights of wine: I was given four or five white wine wines, I get they might have paired better than reds but frankly none of them were good. Verdict: average to poor food, I should have ordered a bottle of wine. Note the intro sparkling wine was good. (FYI, I'm a foreigner who has traveled many wine regions, indifferent to the price, but something has gone wrong considering all the great reviews. Comparitively lunch at Fogon at Lagarde was a fabulous experience).

Over hyped with mediocre preparation and less than stellar presentation. Had booked far in advance expecting a special culinary experience. Nothing food wise was exemplary other than wine pairings though over chilled reds and desert wine. So disappointed as my guest was a chef having worked with Bradley Ogden and One Market in SF. Sweet breads so tough inedible. Kitchen staffed apparently very young cooks not possibly being supervised as to what left kitchen. Best to get a great steak elsewhere with a fine Malbec without the disappointment of a superlative meal which did not happen. So sorry I spent $$ here with little to rave about.

Uf, but what a wonderful dinner. I am still thinking of that macaron. Absolutely recommended experience. The food is simply amazing, the wines are wonderful and the service is exceptional. It has been a long time since eating this well.

The food is very interesting and the seven course meal is a fun experience. Everything tasted superb. Service was top notch and the atmosphere was fantastic. From the moment you arrive it feels very exclusive and special, with gated entry and by name reservations only. There were only about five other tables dining with us and almost all of the food is prepared right in the outdoor seating area. The staff seem to speak Spanish and English, based on your preference. We felt very happy with our experience and food.

The braised lamb was amazing and the steak was also delicious. The dining area is outside in the courtyard of a winery. It's a beautiful setting. The service was very good. The candle on the table kept blowing out and staff had to come around and relight it. It wasn't a problem but was a little distracting. Overall an excellent dining experience and quintessentially Argentinian.

One of us visited several times before pandemic, was great experiences that’s why we came here for dinner. But seems like it’s nothing like before except the service. The 7-plates set menu costs 32000 pesos per person without alcohol drinks. Consider the inflation, it’s still overpriced compared to other restaurants in Mendoza. The cold soup with pieces of watermelon on it, looks interesting but tasteless. The portion of wagyu steak being small is understandable in a set menu, however didn’t taste better than other steak restaurants here. The potato’s gnocchi also was very disappointing. Overall the best plates were grilled octopus and the fish. The dinner lasted 3 hours in a stunning terrace, but sadly we left here dissatisfied. However the service was still impeccable. The two stars are for the service.

This place was wonderful. Amazing food. Incredible staff. Even sitting outside with many space heaters was a delight. It is a must go and you will not regret it.

Overpriced and disappointing. I had high hopes for my visit to one of the Top 50 restaurants in the world. I had sticker shock with a 32,000 ARS per person or $364 USD for two enjoying a 7 course meal (price is without wine or drinks). The staff was polite, professional and more than ample. The food was OK, the presentation was above average, but overall I left underwhelmed.

Wow this place is special. Had a set menu at Zonda. Even though this is an excellent winery, the food stole the show. Well thought out, delicate cuisine. The chefs are knowledgable and passionate. Awesome!

If you are wine tasting around this area you have to have the 4 Course Lunch at Bodega Lagarde. It’s where most wine tours will take you but for good reason. Come hungry because they also have massive steak portions but per the usual it’s amazing.

Fantastic! Could not ask for a better setting and a more luxurious afternoon. The 7 course lunch was outstanding with great flavours and perfect pairings. The service was impeccable and they were very kind to indulge my preference to speak in not so great Spanish [that's is how you get better]. Wine pours were very generous. My partner had a few top ups as well [alas, I was the driver]. My all means, treat yourself to this amazing experience while in Mendoza.

We did a tour in English and learned about the vines and winemaking process. It looked like the sommelier was leading the Spanish speaking tour group which would have been neat. It was just us in the English tour and the guide was very open to answering our many questions. The best part was lunch. The atmosphere is just lovely with all the tables under the shade of a large tree and with views of the vineyard. I appreciated the many menu options after eating way too much food in days prior. They have a couple options for several course menus but you can order a la crate as well. The food was incredible. You must get the dulce de leche lava cake! Loved the ribeye and empanadas as well. The wine was divine and loved the sommelier’s recommendations. She chose a rose, the Malbec DOC, and a sparkling sweet wine. I don’t normally like sweet wines but enjoyed this one and really loved the Malbec DOC. We also tried the Henry after they talked it up on the tour. It’s their signature wine made of the best grapes each year. They ferment it in oak instead of the steel and hand mix it. It was fun to try!

Had lunch booked here, the 4 course meal with a pairing of 3 wines costs about 25,000 pesos (maybe 80 USD depending what rate you get). Food was very high quality, service from both the sommelier and the dining staff was excellent, giving us a detailed background on the dishes/drinks. Steak was great, as were all the other dishes. Highly recommend as a lunch place in the area.

One of, if not the, best restaurants in all of Mendoza! Truly a lovely place to dine - excellent food and friendly staff. The organic garden and grounds are lovely to peruse and the olive oil is a must-try as well.

Great restaurant to visit in Mendoza, Lujan De Cuyo close to Maipu - food was excellent and creative and so many new and exciting flavors including the herbal tea from flowers from their garden. The wine was really nice too. Only giving 4 because service was a bit slow, while the staff was plentiful. Ala Carte Menu was also an option! Great Vegetarian options and Empanada!

Amazing place, the only restaurant I've been twice during my stay in Mendoza. Service is excellent, location of the tables close to the vineyards creates a very relaxing environment, the steaks (especially the t-bone to share) are prepared to perfection and of course, the wines are great too (underated! Try the primeras vinas). Must go wherever in Mendoza.

The best dinning experience in Mendoza. The atmosphere was elegant. The waitress attentive and the food superb (steak, what else). I loved it & it created a wonderful Argentinian memory for me.

The food was amazing! I had the Anna Ribeye and it was delicious. Their outdoor seating was very nice and heated. My only complaint is that I asked for the rest of my food to go but the waitress did not understand and threw out my leftovers! She was very apologetic but the language barrier was an issue.

Had dinner here at short notice and we were able to get a table without issue. The restaurant is beautiful. Very tasteful and tranquil. The staff are very welcoming on arrival and the service is good. The food was delicious, the meat was tender and flavoursome.

The most incredible streak, got the Ribeye and the mushroom sauce was was so perfect with the steak.

Nice French-Argentinian bistro in Mendoza. The dishes are qualitative very good and tasty. My rib-eye was served with a sweet potato purée, a caramelised quitte and an eggplant on the grill.

We rushed to the airport but had to try this place for a quick dinner on our way and despite it being hurried this was a fantastic meal and a great place to check out in Mendoza. The servers are running around and a little frantic. “Ache” i believe was our waitress and she was professional. The ambience is romantic garden and cute. The salmon papardelle was great and the ribeye was sumptuous. And the empanadas with ricotta was spectacular and they serve some bread with chickpeas to start. We asked to be advised of onions while ordering and they didn’t do a great job of that but then again it’s a French bistro so what can you expect. Will come here again!

We arrived at the restaurant too late for lunch but too early for dinner so the menu was somewhat restricted. But what they had available was absolutely delicious. Ordered a bottle of wine and went with the waiter's suggestion. It was one of those rare delights that you seldom get at at restaurants. This is my favorite Argentinian restaurant.

Absolutely incredible food and atmosphere. We were very well served by Selena, who was very kind. Highly recommend!
