Was here on a sunny Sunday afternoon and I love it. You could do a day trip nearby to many different scenic spots which I did as well I spent around 3 hours here and I would say good options are limited to one cafe, so bring your own food and drinks. This place is also suitable for people who wants to walk their dogs or bring their kids. So I would definitely love to come here again. Be careful of wet weather

Took a guided tour and found it very interesting. The gardens are spectacular and wandering about was really fun and relaxing. Staff are friendly and informative. Will definitely be coming back as one day was not enough to see everything!

Beautiful place. The place is very large to go with little time, it is advisable to go with your family and spend the whole day exploring. You breathe a peace and quiet, ideal to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Absolutely beautiful gardens and immaculately kept. Staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. The man at the infecenter even remembered my name and said hi when he drove by in a buggy hours later. I went on a free tour with Jenny who has so much knowledge about the history of the gardens and plants of all kinds. She has such a lovely warm soul and this really contributed to the quality of the tour. Perfect for families to have a day out with friends and families. Plenty of space to social distance and get some sunshine too!!

A gorgeous slice of natural beauty right in the heart of Melbourne. Free to visit and explore to your hearts content. Magnificent views of the city to be found all throughout the gardens. Highlights are Fern Gully, Long Island and the Sensory garden. Whilst walking through the temperate rain forested Fern Gully it is hard to believe you are in the middle of Melbourne. One of my favourite places to walk and explore.

The garden is very well maintain. We arrived toward the late afternoon so we couldn’t spend much time here. Please look at the open and close time first. The garden is big and has various type of plants for you to enjoy. It’s so peaceful and quite. There are space for you to relax and enjoy the well spent time here. At the front of the gate there is a gift shop where you enjoy shopping and there is a book section if you want to explore:))) do come and enjoy the time here :)

Huge, beautiful garden spaces with lots of variety and info boards to let you know what you’re looking at. Has multiple entrances and is a lovely scenic getaway from the urban hustle. Definitely worth visiting if in Melbourne — the whole place is well maintained and could take hours to get through. Wonderful location.

I know that this is already a very popular tourist spot, but I still believe that it is understated on how amazing this park is. The gardens are really pristine and picturesque with a really amazing atmosphere. There were lots of people having picnics and many facilities to enjoy. There's a kids garden and different themes of gardens. Definitely make this apart of your time if you're visiting melbourne. :)

Absolutely love these gardens. I just moved to the area and so overjoyed to find these just around the corner from me! There is so much to see and it is so well kept, immaculate and clean. Also very quiet and easy to access with tram or bus. You can come here to enjoy a nice walk, to relax in the open space or to see the different plants and flowers. I haven’t seen the light show yet but also looks worth booking in!

The botanical gardens are a place that is tranquil and peaceful. I loved the man made ponds that were teaming with different birds. There is plenty of chairs and water fountains to drink from. There is no entry fee and no waiting to get in. I would recommend a visit as it is well worth it.

Lovely atmosphere, lively music was awesome all around. Great summer night market with a good variety of food stalls... could have definitely been more stalls but the food was great nonetheless. Only downside is waiting time for food as the lines are awfully long so get there early I guess(?)

Some people may compare this to the South Melbourne Market, but I honestly think both markets are great! The Queen Victoria Market has a lot more choices of shops and food. It’s a fun visit to explore a wide variety of food here, from mussels specialty and chowder to Dutch pancakes, and more. And during winter, they also have a winter night market every Wednesday night. I'm not really interested in the clothes and souvenirs here, but their prices are actually not the cheapest in the city.

Went here for the winter market, must say that the food choices here were amazing. Varieties were out of this world. The best time to avoid lines is to come after 8 pm. We tried many favourites and everything was good. Only issue is that when you want to buy water, you have to go to the bar area. Otherwise, I am going here every Wednesday.

Wow! visited the Wednesday night market. It had an awesome vibe. Food and stalls were amazing. We got back to the hotel and went back to buy more things. The next morning we went back. Heaps of stalls, some items were pricey, others were good value. Brought an amazing honey melon in the fruit and vegetables section!

I think this may have been the highlight of our Melbourne trip. This market is a sensory overload. The quality and variety of food and goods here was purely amazing. What ever you do, don't miss going here. Saturday morning seemed to be the best day

This market place is awesome. Plenty to eat, shop and explore. Have to get there early to avoid the crowd and getting a parking space on the weekends. There have varieties of groceries, meat, vegetables and other produce etc. Plenty of Cafe for a cup of coffee. Love coming to this place especially of fresh mussels with white wine. Love it!!

Very much a market for tourist. Not all are local products. Some stores are run by Chinese, then likely the products are from China (price marked up 5x from china). The other food stores are mostly fresh local produces. Fresh juices and food are good.. a few bakeries 👍🏻

A tourist got to do the tourist thing… so we drop by to have a look.. we were there around 1-2pm on a Sunday and notice slowly some stalls have started packing… still there were many other stalls to check out and to enjoy some ice cream on a cold day in early August 2023.

A great place to visit in Melbourne. Love the variety of the shops that sell all kind of daily stuffs. You can find all in one here. Especially love the market where I can find unlimited fresh shucked oysters. It is really value for money and good bargain fresh seafood ! We also found place to get our fresh ground coffee, fruits are a gem that sell mussels pot! The mussel pot has been here many years and cooked really good mussel pot. Do try the spicy one with coconut cream and chili. Dipping in with bread made your day!

Came for the Winter Night Markets! Rug up, be patient and grab some mulled wine before walking around. Something warm in your hand and warm for your soul. It’s gets busy but don’t let that scare you with the lines. The vendors are quick and efficient. A must visit spot if you are visiting Melbourne or a great spot to do your fruit, veg, meat, and deli shopping if you are a local. The fresh seafood is amazing. The selection of cheeses can not be beaten. The fresh fruit and vegetables are the best. The general shopping section is worth exploring. One of our weekend staples is a visit to the Queen Vic Market.

Came here to watch Manchester United game on tour. It was amazing. The stadium looked amazing from afar and close up even better. The security guards were very friendly of me getting a photo from where we were not allowed because of our tickets. The seats were very nice and clean as for the toilets. The atmosphere was also great. Must go here. Very nice place.

What a place!! An amazing place for cricket Lovers. It was a Match between India vs Zimbabwe. That was my first visit & The experience was unforgettable. Love cricket. Get a tour of MCG. A great way to explore the famous cricketing ground.The sporting history in this venue, is amazing. The food inside was quite reasonable. If you're in Melbourne must visit place.

I’ve not been here for years. Very impressed with the ease of entry in covid times. Felt safe. I was there for day three of the third ashes test 2021. Magical experience with Scott Boland fielding in front of us. The only shame was 80 minutes to finish a test and we got to have lunch in The park.

Came here to watch the Manchester United Tour games. Very fun experience and huge stadium, not a fan of how far you are from the pitch and that Level 1 seating is quite flat which means anyone standing up will block the view of those behind. Would recommend booking on Level 2. Easily accessible via public transport, best to take the Metro after games as the tram come infrequently and it’s always packed.

The MCG is the biggest and most spectacular sports precinct in Australia. It's such a vibrant venue, delivering one of the best sports atmospheres in the world. I would recommend visiting even if you're not a sports person as this place is all about the experience. Facilities are great, and the stadium is easily accessible via public transport. Food and drinks are reasonably priced for a sports venue.

If I could get a membership. The Melbourne Cricket Ground avails it's magic when you notice. I noticed. Now all I am waiting for is an invite. Seriously though the MCG has history, atmosphere and community. Join in you may even hear the roar.

Amazing stadium, but you already know that. View from any seat in the house is amazing and unobstructed. Great food options on site with all the stadium favourites. To avoid fighting for a park take the option to park more central in the city and enjoy the walk down the river and over the bridge that leads you right up to the stadium. If you have not been then book some tickets it is an experience of a lifetime!

The MCG and its accompanying museum certainly have a great rich history about them. There's much to see and do, and without being bias, I have to admit I had a good time, despite being a musician by nature and not the sporting type. It's a great place to bring kids and even seasoned sports fans will learn something about the processes and preparations that take place prior to each game. Believe it or not, mowing the lawn isn't the only job needed.😂

This is a great place to see a whole Melbourne city. We especially enjoyed a virtual visual section on level 1. If you have kids, you should go there. They should love it! 😍

This is a fantastic place to visit if you want a bird’s eye view of the city of Melbourne. Went with school students on an excursion in 2012, it used to be called Eureka Skydeck. It costs nearly $30.00 for an adult but there are children and concession prices available. The school students were very impressed by the building and architecture and found the views breathtaking. I also enjoyed the views from all different angles. I took several photos but could only find one that I had saved on my devices, so maybe another time on a clear day I will go and take more stunning aerial photos of Melbourne. On a clear day, it is worthwhile to go for a visit, you will be impressed. You can also enjoy dining at Eureka 89 if you have time, bear in mind this is a 5 course menu so the price may be a bit steep, but worth it. The place is accessible by transport. I went there again recently and really enjoyed the sunset taking many photos and some videos.

Amazing place to visit with friends or family. This is the highest observation deck in the northern hemisphere which is around 300 metres high. You can go up to 88th floor by high speed lift. Sunset experience is just great if you visit in the evening. “Edge” facility is also available here for daring visitors who want to stand in the glass cube 300 meters high from the ground level as this glass cube comes out of the Sky-deck.

Views are great. Enjoyed the Edge Experience. I just felt that it was a bit too packed at the top but having said that - glad I brought the fam to experience it (last time for me was almost 10 years ago). Great photos and can just chill and enjoy the sunset. It's one of those top tourist things to do in Melbourne when here.

The views are incredible. If you want more of the experience, try the Edge while you're there. I did and it was pretty awesome! But never the less....The views are so beautiful. Love love love

If you enjoy good views, I’d definitely recommend spending the money on this. You get great views over the city of Melbourne. The best time to go up is around sunset, so make sure you stay to see the switch from day to night. I didn’t buy any of the extra tickets you can get (Virtual Reality Experience or pictures and co.) and to be honest, I don’t think I missed out on anything. The Deck itself even has a little outside area, where you can breathe some fresh air from the 88. level. There is also a bar up there, but as you’d expect, it is quite expensive. So if the weather is good, I’d definitely recommend going up.

Love the ambience, worth the money. You can spend some peaceful time as it's not much crowded on weekdays. Can enjoy a small snack and drink from the cafe which is quite reasonably priced. We spent around 2 hours here. People usually spend no more than 1 hour.

The 88-story Sky Tower is very spectacular and must be experienced once. Although it is very high, the elevator is very fast and can be reached in about 30 seconds. The service staff guided us very kindly. You can overlook the magnificent cityscape of Melbourne. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Breathtaking 360 degree view's for miles. The edge experience is probably not worth the extra unless you really are scared of heights I wouldn't bother. We had a fire alarm activate while we were up the which everyone ignored until the staff casually rounded us up and directed us down the stairs. We didn't have to walk all 80+ floors to the ground however, at about 59 we could leave the concrete stairwell and take the lift. The fire alarm was due to some toast burning apparently. A refund was offered.

Unforgettable experience.. You get to see all Melbourne.. Breathe taking seen and a very friendly staff which makes it a better experience.. A very recommended thing to do is the EDGE I really like it.. A very different experience that you can't experience elsewhere.. Go with your friends, family... A highly recommended place for kids and students groups.

Personally I think its a bit overpriced at $30 per person for just a view. It is a nice view and the drinks at the bar are pricey yet delicious. The binoculars are surprisingly powerful and can see quite far distances, which was good fun.

The view up top is simply amazing and breathtaking both during the day and at night. It is not something that you can see unless you ride a helicopter. However, the charm of this place only lasts for a few moments. You will easily get bored of the place and there is not much activity to do after. Good thing, the National Gallery of Victoria is nearby so you can move there as your next destination. Overall, this place is nice for a first time visit. After your first time, you will not be enamored by this place as the first time you saw it. Also, prepare money for this place is not free.

Excellent adventure…! I really enjoyed the beautiful environment and scenery! It’s a great experience to see the Australian animals. It’s better to book the ticket in advance. The price is affordable. You can either bring your lunch or buy it from several cafes in there. It takes almost a full day to visit all parts of the zoo. Highly recommended in school holidays…

Fantastic day at the zoo. Place has really improved from when i was a kid. Young fella loved it. Heaps of shady areas to put down a rug and have a picnic. Food and drink is also available. We ordered the hamper for 2, must be done at lease 3 days prior to your visit to the zoo. Heaps of places to get an ice cream as well.

Such a beautiful place. Good to take the kids... the animals all seem happy and healthy. Their enclosures are well kept and I love the diversity (reptiles, sea life, land animals). There is so much to see and do here. You can become a member, which gives you access to other zoos as well, which is really handy or you can get general admission which isn't expensive.

Our family always have a great time at the zoo but more so from the atmosphere being in proximity to lots of different animals than the location itself here. We usually spend 4-5 hours on a Saturday at any given visit. There are always many animals not in sight, mostly sleeping or very far away so it can be disappointing if kids have been excited to see them. I'm not sure how much it can be helped though as you also don't want to disrupt how the animals naturally behave. The food options need improvement. Various outlets around the zoo which is great but small servings vs high prices. We prefer to pack our own food for this reason but it can be tiresome lugging food around all day for a whole family. Positives are the great open spaces for kids to run around, the carousel area is especially fun and recently we were able to enjoy our lunch break in one of the domes which was something different and exciting. The themed events that are run usually in Summer are also a fun experience for the family.

Strikes a very good balance between conservation and entertainment. The zoo is within walking distance of the CBD, and it's an enjoyable walk through the suburbs. It's also well served via the tram network. Very friendly staff and well laid out with a tremendous amount to see. It's a great day out for old and young, with plenty of toilets and places to eat and drink. I visited out of season and on a weekday (Monday, July), so it was busy, but far from crowded). Modern zoos have a difficult tightrope to balance between entertainment and conservation and Melbourne's Zoo does this well. It's great to see animals being well cared for and mostly happy in their confinement, including a couple of baby elephants. The large aviaries are excellent to walk through, yet no so spacious that you end up having to play hunt-the-animal in the enclosures. No zoo will ever be perfect, but this one must be high up on the list of good ones, and ones doing their best to make a difference in terms of education and values in conservation. The butterfly house is a must visit - tranquil, fragile beauty abounds.

Great experience, kids loved it. Everything comes off a main street so it's easy to navigate. Mornings are better so the cats are slightly more active. There is a clever orangutan who sits with a blanket on him. Cafes are decent.

Always wonderful to visit. Love the different areas to visit and learn about animals, animals on endangered lists, conservation and lots of information on how you can help. Almost all of the Zoo is accessible to all abilities! Lots of restrooms and shady eating areas.

The whole day was fantastic, we had so much fun. Ventured into the park with 7 year old and 4 year old. We hadn’t seen all the animals and exhibits before the 4 year old was exhausted but it was so worth it. Would go again for sure anyway. Staff were fantastic Parking being locked in for 5hours kind of sucked but that’s the councils fault.

We love coming to the zoo. It's always a fun day out. Staff are happy to chat to the children about the animals. It's clean and animals are in great sized enclosures.

The staff here are so friendly! I came in for a solo lunch and they were immediately chatty and warm. The gentleman who I think was the manager gave me some great suggestions that paid off very well. The flavour in all of the dishes was really deep and balanced. All of them were super fresh though and beautifully done. I also appreciated that the staff seemed to want to talk about the food and the flavours, how it’s cooked, etc which I really appreciate as a big foodie. I’ll be coming back and recommending it to all and sundry :)

Popular Thai restaurant. Lots of vegan options. Special is $45 per person for 5 dishes. Good variety and could not fault any dish. Fresh quality ingredients. Chose a range with salad, curry, vegetables, fish and beef accompanied by rice. Interesting desert menu but we were too full to try. Interesting that they neither served tea nor coffee. Seating inside and out on hardware. Servers were excellent.

One of the best restaurant experiences on our entire Australia/NZ trip! Everything we ate here was out of this world delicious. The fusion, fun branding and vibes of this restaurant make it appealing. We waited 5 min to be seated and came at like 7pm. Our waitress was great at explaining the menu and broke down the popular items. This was the best broccoli salad I’ve ever had, the empanadas/hot pocket were so yummy! The fried chicken, sauces and everything were perfect.

Good vibe restaurant. Staff super friendly, delicious food and tasty cocktails. Also, the 5 dishes to share is a great option for the price. Dessert are unbelievable good!! Beautiful and the start of the show at that night.

A delicious banquet style Asian meal full of flavours and textures! We had an amazing time here on a Monday night, where the waiting staff were attentive and friendly, the food was tasty, hearty and fresh; and the menu had something for everyone. Offering five dishes from their main menu for $49 per person, this is a stop not to be missed.

Rice Paper Scissors Here's a modern Asian restaurant that has several vegan options. They serve South-East Asian fusion food with influences of Laotian, Malaysian, Filipino, Thai, Indonesian (and more!) cuisines. The food not only looks pretty and is well plated, it also tastes good. I loved that they use many fresh ingredients, including young coconut, banana leaves and herbs like cilantro, Vietnamese mint and Thai basil. Dishes can be shared or ordered individually. Some dishes are small, others are more filling. And prices go up quickly... If you order rice or roti as a side, 2 or 3 dishes are enough for two people. The restaurant is located in a quieter area near the busy Queen Street. It is rather large, with seating inside and outside. Service was good and staff was literally Angelic!

Less portions for what we have paid. I feel the portion of food should be lifted. Terrible Mock-tails👎 Better go for a beer. I have tried 1. Thai fried chicken 3.5/5 2. Malaysian Parotta 5/5 3. Fried Barramundi 2.5/5 The service and the staff were friendly and respectful ⭐️ Over all I felt this was not worth money.

There are many restaurants in Melbourne which does Asian fusion/refined cuisine and this restaurant does very well where many other similar themed restaurants fall short. They stay true to their cuisine, keeping the authentic flavour and taste, and still elevate the dish with some clean refined cooking and standing out some of the ingredients and that'd what elevates all the dishes we tried and gave that Wow factor. One of the best Asian themed restaurants in Melbourne and absolutely loved every single dish we tried. Sticky pork belly is a must try.

I really liked the venue. Our waitress was fantastic! Very good at her job. I just wasn't really 'wowed'. I didn't try the steak or slow cooked lamb because I wanted to sample as much as I could. Food was not bad at all just not very innovative/fun. The menu is well written and thought about. Sorry for the low stars just comparing to other experiences. Definitely worth the try 😊. Fav dish was Mussels

One of the most iconic and loved restaurants in Melbourne. The quality is always high no matter what, and you know you'll always get looked after whenever you come. The highlights from this meal were the Black Angus Porterhouse, the Potato's (as usual) and the biggest surprise being the Rum Baba (which has now become a must order for me).

This place is all class. The waiters are well experienced, they knew just how long to wait between meals & exactly what to say. The vibe is perfect, dimly lit & cosy. The food could not be faulted(not that were looking for them). Everyone at the table(6 of us) all agreed the food was absolutely incredible! Fantastic place to visit if you enjoy fine dining in Melbourne.

Premium food in a relaxed atmosphere. Came here for a Friday lunch pre Xmas and had a very pleasant experience from quality of food to the great service. We ordered a smorgasbord of items, including oysters, calamari, scallops and mussels. Everything was delicious and quality of seafood was top notch. Wine was well recommended and complemented food perfectly. Overall atmosphere was fairly casual for a up market restaurant which suited us perfectly.

I recently shoot a wedding reception here and I have to say there 's a reason why it's the most sought restaurant in Melbourne! A gorgeous, contemporary look with a touch of its own character that sets it apart from other restaurant / event venues. The color palette is just stunning and makes for some seriously beautiful photos. And of course, the food, just as important as the style of the venue, is top-notch! If you're planning your wedding reception here, trust me, your guests will be blown away! You won't regret it :)

Liked the open kitchen concept . Casual dining, no table cloth. Would recommend sharing plates instead a one meal per person . Flavours are overall good . Liked the signature lamb dish although the plating is quite plain with just the lamb on it . So plating and presentation is not consistent . Some dishes look great but no presentation. Service was good .

Came here for dinner in a group of 5. The waitress was absolutely lovely, very sweet and friendly. We got the shared menu. The food was good, but didn't amaze me. Portions were very generous and we actually had too much leftover. I would dine here again.

Cumulus is a lovely place to meet with friends for a nice meal before a show. It’s an excellent date place and a good spot for groups to come together and celebrate a big occasion. I found this restaurant a little loud because of the hard floorboards but it wasn’t annoying enough to discourage me from returning. They also do a nice breakfast, and if your lucky enough to land a table outside in the morning sun then you’ll definitely be in a good mood for the rest of the day.

Had a fabulous dining experience celebrating my birthday here. Felt warmly welcomed the moment we walked in. Excellent service and our sommelier James and waiter Ben were quite friendly and attentive. Food was absolutely delicious as well as creative! Each course was beautifully presented and explained in details. Also a perfect venue if you want to enjoy some cocktails while overlooking the city at the bar area. Appreciate the lovely birthday card from the whole team at Vue de monde. Would definitely come back when visiting Melbourne again.

A truly wonderful experience. From the moment you arrive, you are in a perfect food world. The team are engaging, the food is delightful, the view spectacular. 13 courses, and never rushed. Fingers crossed we can experience it again, post renovation. Happy to post a couple of pics as we were told the entire menu is changing post renovation. Apart from their famous souffle - that is staying.

BEAUTIFULLY presented with attention to details even for an event. The taste is consistently falvoursome but delicate. The service is friendly without feeling pretentious for an event, not quite sure for a normal service. The steak is cooked so well that it melted like butter-No need for a steak knife. The view through the windows and/or in the balcony gave a lovely view of the city and the sunset. Would be a lovely place to host an event or for a date.

Words cannot describe how amazing and wonderful my dinner was. From the moment I walked in the restaurant, Vue de monde offered an exceptional experience that is levels above everything else I have experienced before. What impressed me so mush was to see the dedication of all the team from the host at the entrance to the chefs and waiters, they had all been so professional and amazing! Every dish was beautifully and creatively presented, delicious and perfectly seasoned. Service was top notch as well, with each dish being described thoroughly as to the origins of the food and ingredients, and the whole process of cooking. It was a fabulous and superb experience overall. Couldn’t fault this restaurant at all. This is a must visit restaurant in Melbourne as it is worth every dollar for an experience in ultimate dining. We have wanted to dine Vue de monde for years so it was the perfect choice to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We loved everything about it! From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left, the staff were exceptional. Very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was…. Gosh I can’t even find the best word to use…. Unbelievably exceptional. Absolutely exceeded my expectations and loved every course especially the soufflé. The tour of the kitchen was such a lovely touch and to end our final course on the balcony in private with a note from the staff for our anniversary, beyond perfect. Thank you to all the staff at Vue de monde for making our first wedding anniversary a memorable one.

We got a gift certificate from a friend for our wedding. What a great gift! Everything about this meal was extraordinary from the view, to the service, ambiance, and of course the food! Everything was locally sourced and innovative. We even got a tour of the kitchen and the chefs and staff were so much fun! An experience of a life time.

Wonderful dining experience - beautifully presented and delicious food, immaculate service and amazing views. 14 course degustation was perfectly balanced, creative, delightful and gorgeously presented. Fantastic service, can't fault it Make sure you ask for a table by the window. Will come back.

What an exquisite fine dining experience! Enjoyed a Friday lunch with family overlooking the north east on a beautiful sunny winter day. Staff were brilliant, food was great and the location top notch (no pun intended). Can't wait to see what it is like after the renovations.

First time back for a few years and great that not much has changed - excellent coffee and tasty, French-inspired dishes that push that envelope of the standard brunch menu. This is the place you go for something a bit fancy and indulgent, as evidenced by the number of lobster rolls being dished out, though options are somewhat limited for GF or DF pundits. If anyone is listening, would love to see the classic croque madame back on the menu!

Nice place with good food. Service was good but had to wait outside for a while before we could sit. There were three people total with me ordred 3 food items and 3 drinks and was over $150 so a bit expensive.

The service and atmosphere here were great! waitress/ waiters were all helpful and nice the coffee was next level, best we have had in Melbourne by far!!! For breakfast we got the scrambled eggs and mushrooms on toast. The mushrooms on toast is different to something i’d usually go for but delicious nonetheless

Food here was delicious! I had the empanada and fried eggs. Portion was really generous and I couldn’t finish it all despite it being so tasty. Salad was super refreshing between the empanada and eggs. I also had an ice chocolate which was really good too! Service was pretty good, wait staff really friendly and attentive :)

The food is certainly the experience here. This has been the best breakfast I've had in Melbourne to date. Breakfast dishes done amazingly well and all the flavours are just right and an explosion of flavour. The atmosphere is a real typical Melbourne feel and that just adds to the experience. Booking ahead is definitely recommended though, if you don't like waiting in line for a table.

An overall rating of 92/100 This place fully deserves its 4.4 Google rating as at July 2022, and then some! Had my first Melbourne 'Magic' coffee here and it was hands down one of the best coffees I've had in my life. Most of the dishes here were on the money also - top marks for uniqueness of the menu and its variety (I was stumped for choice!) The lobster & prawn roll and the rye crepes were the star performers for sure. The souffle has some room for improvement taste wise, but aside from this, no complaints. All ingredients were fresh and you can tell the best is used. The prices are justified also. Would recommend as an excellent late brekky/brunch spot!

We absolutely loved the food here, however would definitely recommend booking. There is a section which is just awful to sit in right at the back with no windows or light and is really stuffy. My other suggestion would be to have salt shakers instead of an open bowl which a million people have put their fingers in. This is the same with the sugar - it’s in an open bowl and when we were there we saw lots of birds just eating out of it!

This cafe in Melbourne is one of my favorites, and I consistently enjoy their food and coffee. However, I hope the management reads this review and takes action. During my recent visit, I observed a family with children ordering pastries for their kids, specifically croissants. I noticed that one of the kids was double-dipping the croissant into the jam jar after each bite. I believe this practice is unsanitary and could be unpleasant for other customers who might use the same jam jar afterward. In the future, it might be a better idea for the cafe to provide individual servings of jam on small plates instead of the entire jar.

We tried the duck leg on the new menu, absolutely amazing!! The leg was marinated overnight in spicy and so flavorful, juicy. Smashed potatoes with bacon crisp. Raw beef sandwich was tasty as well. Serving size is very generous. Only down side is the coffee, pretty average.

Our brunch and meal was delicious and it did not disappoint! So glad we got there early-ish as the restaurant was already full! Coffee and food's great, service is perfect! Highly recommended.

Best Fried Brioche I've had so far. The sweetness is just right and the softness of the bread is really good. Their customer service is equally great. The waiting time might be abit long (~15 mins) but it's worth it.

Red Spice Road was a beautiful venue. It had excellent customer service. Flawless attention to detail. The food was superb and magnificent. My favourite dishes were the pork belly and cauliflower baked. 10 out 10. I will be going back.

Loved the place! Unique restaurant with a very own style. You feel the unusually signature atmosphere from the street. It's a piece of art. The service, decorations, staff and everything else is so distinctive, you'll want to come back there again. Highly recommend.

Red Spice Road offers excellent service and a pleasant ambiance that make for an enjoyable dining experience (big & small groups!) The staff is proactive, attentive, and ensures that you have a great time. While the overall food at Red Spice Road was decent, the standout dish for me was the delicious lamb ribs. The food portion was generous too. However, I must mention that some of the other dishes were average and slightly on the salty side, which left me a bit disappointed. Nonetheless, the outstanding service and pleasant atmosphere at Red Spice Road make it a worthwhile choice. Would love to give their food another try in the future :)

The food was outstanding. We loved the banquet! Our stand outs were the pork belly and the scallops! Love the atmosphere but the seats at the long table were not overly comfortable. That said we will definitely be back for the food!

was brought here by surprise, they famous dishes are the caramelised pork belly, it was a little bit dry, but the flavour was pretty great. cured salmon was my favourite for the entree, taste so fresh and light. and the prawn salad, are so great and crispy.

Fantastic Asian fusion food. The food came out in a timely matter, didn't have to wait too long at all. Fantastic flavours. Great atmosphere and set up. Staff were friendly & efficient. Would come here again.

This is my third time to this restaurant and the food didn’t match up to the expectations as before. I remember the last time we visited my partner and I enjoyed the food. This time, We ordered the motorbike menu and the dishes were okay. It lacked flavour. The spread was varied but it wasn’t up to the mark. In my opinion some of the dishes lacked salt. The only standout was the dessert and the cauliflower karage. The service and the ambience was good. Would I go again to this place? I don’t think so!

We have been in great favour of Red Spice Road since the old times. Everything about Red Spice Road is just perfect, from the Asian-style decoration, the warm atmosphere, the authentic food to the lovely staff. Therefore, we decided to organize our wedding reception here. It was not without problem, to tell the truth, because it was during the peak time of the pandemic, but Red Spice Road team, and especially Julie, had gone to great lengths to help us out. They even made all the exceptions so that we could have our wedding reception catered on a Saturday afternoon, when the restaurant normally closed. All of our family and friends enjoyed the wedding so much. Its true there are a variety of choices when it comes to wedding ceremony, yet if you want a loving and relaxed experience with all the loved ones, then Red Spice Road is your choice. Thank you Red Spice Road, for being a part of journey. We can never thank you all the team enough.

Been coming here for years before they relocated to current location. Generous portions for set the menu and nice flavours. The dining area is lovely however it was busy when we visited and was extremely noisy for normal conversations. Also charging $12 for essentially 4 glasses of sparking water seems steep. Other restaurants provide as complimentary.

Red Spice Road, much like the Yellow Brick Road, transports you to a magical land full of surprises. A large food hall type setting is filled with long bench tables and there is an exciting if not frantic energy in the room. Stove and I stopped in for dinner to replenish our energy stores as we searched greater Melbourne for Dirk who had gone AWOL earlier in the week. We sampled croquettes, betel leaf salads, lamb ribs and a kingfish sashimi with grapefruit. The flavours were provocative and stirred something within me, much like the paintings on the wall. A wonderful blend of sweetness and spice, chilli and rice. The one dish that fell short was the fish sashimi, which may not have been as fresh as hoped as the dish of fish had a strong fishy flavour which I believe should be absent from such a fish dish. The service, while friendly, was on the slower side but this may have been down to the sheer number of customers.

A wonderful dining experience. Food was absolutely delicious. The ambience of the restaurant was great - not too loud to have a conversation but busy enough that you never felt awkward!
