This is one crazy place. So many people and so much activity. I like the fact that you have so many unique stalls selling all sorts of stuff including all kinds of foods. Pretty much overwhelmed in a good way as I was kinda excited to see so much. The best part is seeing everyone from sellers to buyers having a great time......which has to be a place for side hustles to thrive. It's also within other tourist attractions in town. A wonderful Melaka drawcard for tourists and locals alike. Will definitely come back again.

This is the most famous street in Melaka. It is crowded like you will be loose with your friends. Many street foods. Nice to walk around but a bit tiring. ☺️ Monitor lizard is at the river. So cute!!!

Good collection of snacks, trinkets, gadgets & other novelty items. Can be hot, so please dress according to weather, bring water & fan. Easy to find using maps, plenty of parking spaces by the roadside (make sure you park responsibly)

A paradise for food lovers. The night market opens on weekends in the evenings. Quite a lot of cafes and small restaurants line the street but the night market experience is the best. You can shop for knick knacks on the streets while enjoying an impressive variety of snacks. The lanes get very crowded as night progresses, so visiting with kids is a little tricky.

Not worth to go for visit anymore. A lot of repetitive stall which selling the same thing / food, for example, the jelly ball, at least 6 stalls which own by same boss. The 龙须糖 also easily more than 5 stalls, all is not authentic or Malacca-related food, it just a normal night market as we can found everywhere in KL.

Lively night market and a lot of food being sold here. Love the vibes and the food too! Recommend trying the fried potatoes slices on a stick, Jonker 88 for their famous laksa, and the yogurt ice cream shaped like an egg

Great for soaking in the ambience. Good mix of the more hipster stuff like popcorn and bubble tea, and the traditional stuff like herbal tea and local cuisine. Lots of repeats though and really long queues.

The Vibe, Energy and Ambiance. This place is amazing. If you like night markets then this place is the place to be. Only opens on weekends but if you are going to Melaka you should definitely visit. It is crowded and definitely hot. I recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes. The place is filled with amazing food and local items. Make sure you bring enough cash on hand if you are planning to splurge. We will definitely comeback to this place.

Opens only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This night market is pretty long. This night market starts from around 6 pm. From this timing, there will be many stalls starting to set up. Most of the stalls sell repeatitive stuff. Didn't manage to buy a lot of stuff. Food choices are also quite limited. Like most night markets around the world.

The day time and the night time were so different in the cool way. I really like the old buildings here. They are very amazing.

Museum was clean and well maintained. Guided tour are available depends on the time of the day but it wasn’t available when we got there, but the information book was informative enough for us. RM 16 charge was money well spent, we learnt quite a bit whilst there. There’s signs clearly say don’t touch the antique items but sadly seems the signs were still ignored by some visitors. There was insufficient staffs to enforce any kind of control. People really need to respect these historic items to preserve them for our future generations..

Nice place to visit if you are around the area. Can go without guided tour as booklet detailing each room and areas is provided. My kids enjoyed the visit and got to learn more about the culture. The place is well maintained to with access to toilet.

A gem not to be missed if you are in Melaka. This is a step back in time, thought provokingly in regards to the colonial past of Malaysia. Sometimes, beyond unassuming façades there is an impressive residence. We particularly enjoyed seeing the kitchen. It brought us closer to people that worked and lived there. As with most museums in Melaka make sure you have cash to pay for the tickets.

It’s an interesting place to study about Baba and Nyonya life. It’s a big house, every single inch is remarkable and so precious. So much to see and captured. Highly recommended to children and adults who loves peranakan.

Privately-owned museum that shows beautiful artifacts of Chinese noble descendants which adopted the Malays culture. I love how they keep the old building beautiful with its solid teak floorings and airy courtyard. Their nicely aired interior definitely makes a nice option to spend time learning history during blazing Melaka afternoon.

The interior is beautiful and they provide you with an in-depth insight on the historical ways of the owners of the house. It's almost transports you back to a certain place in time. Overall a good place to visit if you live around the area or you're travelling.

A well reserved Peranakan house, interior is luxury and clean, a place to learn a bit knowledge of Baba & Nyonya. Entrance fee cost RM18 per pax , no reservation required during weekday. A self guide book will hand over and you can walk around the house by following the guide book. It is not really a museum but you may learn few things from the journey to this heritage house.

There wasn’t a proper guide and much information provided in the museum. It’s great to have local private museums to educate the community on the rich Peranakan heritage. However, felt like much more can be done to make the history come to life.

Have had a wonderful time exploring and understanding this heritage as passed down from the early babas and nonyas. Very well maintained and preserved exhibits and artifacts which are passed down from generations to generations. Watch out for the floor tiles, the well carved (well maintained too!) doors, furnishings, decorative displays, paintings and photos and the various daily utensils for eating and cooking. Friendly host informed on what to do and not to do (and where to sit and not sit) through booklet which was returned after visit. The stairs and steps to 2nd level has its own designs to behold and admire too. Amazing place, worth the time taken to visit and spent like 2+ hours there. Parking is really tricky at this place but the staff there mentioned there is a parking place with $3RM for whole day behind a particular block. Need parking coupons otherwise.

We’re from Taiwan and love this museum since it shows lots of history and reserves the antiques very well. Highly recommend to come and learn the whole history of Baba and Nyonya. Remember to look into the details for some of the stuffs and you’ll found some surprising things.

Worth a walk around, but best experienced with a guide as this place has tons of things to look at. Beautiful house with rich history and tradition. Rich design elements and captivating stories in each room.

Travel back in time to the 17th century Dutch era.　What a the Dutch inspired beautiful architecture. I found Dutch style windmill on the north side square. No question this area is very touristly.

This historical site is located right in the heart of Melaka Historical City. Numerous Dutch and British historical buildings are located around this location. The night views are beautiful too. A boat terminal serving the Melaka River Cruise is also located nearby. The Night Melaka River Cruise is highly recommended. On the weekends, there is a beautiful night market in the nearby renowned Jonker Walk. Nearby here, there are numerous restaurants and food stalls serving authentic Baba Nyonya and local foods. There are also numerous souvenir stalls. A haven for souvenir hunters. Overall it is a place that brings you back in time and also gives you a modern feeling too..

The historical square of Malacca, containing all the remnants of the colonial days. It is very well kept by the State government. Stadhuys, Christ Church, Victoria Water Fountain, the Clock Tower, Bastion Middleburgh are all located here, within walking distance. It is very happening especially at night and on the weekend. Jonker street is just across the bridge over the Melaka river.

St. Paul's Church Lighthouse also known as Malacca Light and it's located in St. Paul's Church, Bukit Melaka, Bandar Hilir, Malacca, Malaysia. The Malacca Light is an inactive lighthouse in Malacca City built with Watch Tower that's overlooking to Malacca River and the sea strait. An additional beacon in year 1849 by British for ships travelling along the Strait of Malacca. The lighthouse was eventually deactivated, the functionality diminished further as to Malaccan Harbour underwent land reclamation d uring the late 20th century. This building's now becomes a partial of Malacca City attractions.

The ruins of St. Paul's church stand at the summit of St. Paul's hill near the remains of A Famosa fortress. It was built in 1521 by Duarte Coelho in gratitude to the Virgin Mary for saving his life in the South China sea. The church is renowned as the place where the body of Francis Xavier, the pioneering Catholic missionary of Southeast Asia, was laid to rest for a period of eight months after his death at sea.

A tourist place very beautiful art and scenery. It's small but it took me about 2hours until I satisfied

Good place to visit while in Malacca. Walking distance from Malacca square. The walk up the hill to reach the church is not difficult and up the hill you get a nice breeze and view of Malacca. You can get information about the church ruins on the board and can sit around and rest on the benches near the church. The inside of the church has rocks with engravings and is pretty picturesque too.

Worth the walk up, windy at the too despite it being sunny. Ruins of the church is beautiful, a lot of history. The view of Melaka from the top is amazing!

Taming Sari Tower is a major attraction in downtown Malacca. At the highest peak of 105m or 24 floors, you can enjoy panoramic views across the city center. Since there is only one tower, so on weekends or school holidays will be crowded with visitors. Probably a long line to get into the tower. There is limited parking, and the best option is to simply book a pick -up from your hotel. Don't forget to bring your identity card as it must be shown when buying tickets. A local child or who or is addressed in Malacca on the identity card, will buy tickets cheaper than others.

Good place to be visited, can get experience for seeing Melaka from above and 360 deg. But only for a while, around 15 minutes, and the ticket quite expensive for foreigner.. but still, must try

Fun to ride. Can see the whole Malacca City until the far end sea. Better bring your own binocular if like to zoom in. The ride lasted 7 minutes, including 1 minute go up and 1 minute go down. Worth the visit.

Overall Experience: An Hour ++ wait for 7 Minutes Ride.. For me personally, is worth it.. The view at night is spectacular to see the city night lights itself.. I can imagine in the day time, to be able to see the Sea View, truly spectacular.. Ride itself: Everyone will be allocated a sit. There will be staff inside to explain the view like a tour guide, quite cool. In terms of the safety, is quite solid. Rating: 9.2/10 The minus 0.8 is for the long wait, but it is still worth it

I had so many trips to Malacca before but this is my first ride. Waiting time was between 10 minutes. Free water bottle with every ticket purchased. Close at midnight during my visit which was school holiday. Wonderful view from above, more comfortable than with ferris wheel.

Fair price for tourist, a discount if you are 55 yrs old or more. The view on clear day was exceptional. The viewing platform is air conditioned and rotates for a 360° view of Melaka. Worth a visit.

The tandoori and Triple cheese naan is the bomb. The chicken was literally melting away in your mouth. TLC: don't bother to order single / double cheese naan as you won't feel the cheese in your naan. Just order triple cheese naan (Rm5.50only) and their briyani rice was good too. The mutton keema was not great. Service was good.

Recommended to try this restaurant....naan'a portion big n good to but the tandoori chicken perhaps could be slightly improved. Would jave5 preferred it to be slightly drier. However the, mango lassi's the bomb.... would've ordered another if my tummy still got space

Crowded almost all the time. Although service can be considered fast even in huge crowd, but you have to make sure they got your order right. Naan cheese & chicken tandoori taste are pretty average, but still good as you can really taste the cheese and the chicken. But they are pretty stingy on the amount of onions given. Gravy are all good!

A usual place to have dinner with friends, juicy Chicken tandoori is always the right choice to start with. There are quite some numbers of option for naan. Usually crowded on weekends, take note restaurant off on Monday. No waiting area, so u may just grab any empty table and sit down, they will come and take your order (sometimes it takes quite long waiting time)

A very tender tandoori chicken yet juicy. And it has been improved a lot compared to last time. Their naan was so good to dip with the sauces. Briyani rice was normal. Chilly Garlic Chicken was good but not spicy enough. Portion quite enough for 2-3 paxs. I really loves their spinach with cheese sauce that dip with naan. So yum!! The drinks really refreshing as well as lassi! Overall was so great for this South Indian & Pakistani food!

Loved this place. Really good boneless tandoori chicken. Also, the Mutton roman josh was lovely, with really tender meat. It was fairly cheap and great to eat outside with lots of locals.

Food was excellent although a little bit on the pricier side. One of the best naan and tandoori chicken I have had (Including Kapitan at Penang). Naan was soft and fluffy while the tandoori chicken was juicy. The mango lassi can be skipped as it isn't worth the price.

Most wanted nan bread 😍 and their tandoori as well! Perfectly cooked, moist and delicious. Please try the mango lassi and baryani rice! There are outdoor and indoor seating but customers usually like to queue and wait for outdoor seat 😂😅 Parking space somewhat limited. Fast service despite many customers.

I'm shocked that this restaurant was so full because this is by far the worst food I've had in Malaysia. The chicken vindaloo was like ketchup covered chicken, the fish curry was super fishy and watery, the butter garlic nan had butter that didn't melt, rice was clumpy and tasted metallic, and it was all just terrible. I can't believe this restaurant was crowded, has anyone there had food with proper Pakistani or Indian flavor? The tandoori chicken was also much too bland and that is what most people were eating. Avoid at all costs.

Tons of people at costly prices, definitely not for everyday dinner. But will satisfy your hungry tummy. Try to come early or book in advance to avoid too many people. Will be noisy. Cheese naan is the best dipped with spinach sauce. However, for the past few times I ate here, the quality of the food has reduced a bit (slightly too salty chicken, weak tasting drinks, sauce too little and little flavour) maybe to speed up cooking because of the high volume of customers. I didn't get the spinach because they said it does not come with the basic order of naan. But definitely recommended to try.

Pak Putra Restaurant famous street food at Kota Laksamana, especially supper. Best for its naan and chicken tandoori. Other options were good too, but the wait of the food a little bit long. The cleanliness of the environment will need to improve, not clean.

My go to place for Nonya food each time I'm in Melaka. Prices are very reasonable and quality has maintained over the years. Kudos to Nancy 👍🙏

I used to frequent this joint when it was off jonker st. It has since moved to a bigger and nicer premises. First time trying it here. Expect to wait long if you are not early. Only a couple of dishes stood out. Ngoh hiang had a smooth texture and nicely spiced. Soup was interesting. Not the best I’ve had but still very good. Beef rendang was too tough. That’s a bummer. Buah Ayam keluah was not bad. But didn’t impress. Crispy squid was alright. Not the best. But this is not Nonya food. Nice overall but not impressed. But this is supposed to be one of the best so it’s still worth going to compared to many other Nonya restaurants.

The Most Memorizing Appetizer "Top Hat" from the Peranakan Restaurant- Nancy's Kitchen The aroma is heavenly, it is filled with very well-seasoned sliced turnips, omelettes, inside of deeply fried extremely crispy shells! The portion comes in an one-bite size that is so intimidating, making you crave and longed for more an more, and more! The way the dish is presented is unforgettable - like a beautiful flower fully blooming in spring. Pricing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Flavour ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Presentation ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Other than that, the stir fry four-angled gourd is also very scrumptious and flavourful!

Much hyped but much to be desired. Nothing fantastic. Best dish we had was the Kueh Pie Tee. The crust was crispy with a nice crunch while the filling was flavourful. The Sayur Loday and Ayam Buah Keras was also nice. Was looking forward to the Gerang Assam fish but was most disappointed by it. The assam fish meat was not fresh, had a fishy taste and it was lukewarm when served.

We dined at level 2. Spacious and clean. Love the decor inside. Do take time to admire the lamps and decor when dining there! Kueh pie-tee was delicious! Not too oily and very flavourful. All the dishes tasted authentic! Take a look at the photos. :) Will be back again.

We are Malaccan, we tried their food since they are still in Jonker street area, but somehow it’s very hard to queue or making a reservation when it’s open to tourist (before COVID) so we came here very early today, we walked in and we got our seats quite easily. We Ordered few things very uniquely available to the Peranakan community. First is the Cincalok Ulam(pickled little shrimp), and then the Jantung Pisang ( Heart of Banana). We also ordered Ayam Buah Keluak (Pangium / Buah Kepayang), I heard my mom said if you can order pork meat it’s even tastier and this applies to also Pongteh(Fermented Beans Pork). And last is chicken rendang. Overall the taste of the foods were great, however the food portion shrieked in size, I suppose this is normal if you don’t increase your price, you decrease your size portion. The chicken rendang is rather disappointing we thought it should come with more spices but it lacks or spice anyhow. This shop is equipped with credit card payment options, only Amex is not accepted. VISA and Master all boleh. Maybe because the food portion is small I think the value for money criteria was not 100%. But if you are new to these dishes, and just want to try, they are one of the finest in Melaka. Overall the damage for three person ordering these foods is about RM104. Not too expensive nor cheap.

Somehow I think this place is a bit overhyped. There are too many people blogging and reviewing about this place which is causing such a queue outside the restaurant. I arrived at 12 noon and queued for 90 minutes before I got a table. I would recommend anyone who wants to dine here to make reservations in advance. Kinda complicated with reservation queue and walk in queue, and people making reservations came late. I was 9th in the walk in queue and I waited 90 minutes, and in the meantime I could walk to collect my popiah and putu piring just a few blocks away. Finally got in, had to take orders before heading to the table. Once seated, it didn't take long for the food to arrive. Ordered a few of the recommendation from the staff, since some items we wanted to order were not available. I would say the food is okay not bad but not to the fantastic level. The food is nonya but I think the flavours were not rich enough, felt that the taste is more toned down. Surprisingly the dish I loved the most was the chap chai and not the meats. It was well cooked and the gravy was nice. The sek bak was disappointing as the meat was too tough for our liking. The soursop drink was also pretty tasteless not sure why, and the cendol took really long to come. We told 2 of the servers to serve the cendol and think they totally forgot about it. Only on the 3rd time one of the servers were serving dishes to another table I reminded him again then the cendol was served. A bit disappointed with the cendol as well, very rich in coconut but couldn't taste much of the gula melaka.

Authentic Nyonya Food with reasonable price and portion was decent but the food had some hit and miss. Good ones were the ayam rendang and bah pongteh, ayam buah keluak and pie tee not my taste. Recommend their Bak Sambal Timun (Pork in Salad Cucumber) too, sweet and sourly taste and will stimulate your appetize after few bites of Nyonya food. Remember to make reservation before pay a visit. It's always fully booked. Service quite fast even during peak hours and atmosphere quite nice.

Ordered kueh pai tee, kangkong cincaluk, babi pongteh, curry chicken, nasi goreng and chendol. Best dishes were probably the kangkong and nasi goreng. Was quite disappointed by the babi pongteh as the meat was either too dry or just fats (gelatinous and not the melt in your mouth type). As I tried 3 nyonya restaurants during my trip, i feel like you can get better nyonya food elsewhere.

I didn’t felt anything wow about the food. But the starter and Chicken rendang we enjoyed. The fried fish was quite bad to our taste considering it’s price, very bad! Laksa was fine. drink was little sugary. Service was just order taking and food serving, not much any recommendations or any other things. Better to book appointment for smooth dine in. walk in might need to Q long. Overall, I would not visit again.

it's my first time visit hard rock cafe. friendly staff and nice ambiance. a great place to have some drinks and chill. taste of the food is WAY below average, we ordered legendary burger and macaroni... burger patty is dry.. macaroni is tasteless.. so disappointed for the food served. will I revisit? unlikely...

We went there for the first time over the last weekend. In comparison to other Hard Rock establishments, the Malacca branch held its own. The ambiance was amazing as always with the constant music playing. The waitstaff that attended to us was real nice and approachable. However, there were some constant misunderstandings and wrong orders. As for the food, all in all it was great! We had the nachos, jumbo combo and wings. The only complaint I have was that the wings were slightly dry. Everything else was perfect! In terms of pricing, as expected it would be slightly pricey. Oh! And the band that was playing on the night (10/7) was amazing! Couldn’t get their name unfortunately.

It's my first time ever dining at a Hard Rock Cafe & it was a very wonderful experience. We were there during the weekend so it's a bit busy & noisy. No issue since the staff are amazingly pleasant. The food was also amazing. The steak & burger were juicy and very fulfilling. The only thing that annoyed me was that there were too many birthday shout-out that diluted my dining experience.

Ate here in April in a party of 5, including a friend from UK. Menu included a few local dishes unlike Hard Rock Cafes I visited in many other countries. Good idea to localise. Food was good as was expected. We over ate. Service was good too. The one who served us was very jolly. Decor and ambience consistent with other Hard Rock Cafes everywhere.

Great food- consistent with other Hard Rock locations. Kitchen is halal but the whole establishment isn't due to alcohol. Friendly helpful staff. A bit short handed during our trip which is why it isn't a 5 star.

Strange experience for me. The band tried hard to rev up the crowd, but it was all very subdued. Service was also a mixed bag. Staff were fast to clear tables, but not to ask if another drink was needed. Smiles were also hard to come by, you'll have to be proactive as a customer to super friendly. Not the Hard Rock franchise experience I'm familiar with.

I expected the super duper expensive food but didn’t expect it to be very lack of taste. Its hard rock after all. I was quite disappointed when they served apple juice from the juice box, not from real apples. But the place is quite big and wide, also friendly staff. I mean for taking pictures as one of your experiences is fine, but i think visiting it once in a lifetime is enough. Nothing special.

Its the best spot to chill out. Service very good. Food was very delicious. Great dining environment with good Live Band from 9pm onwards. The Blues Meal Combo set was great, big portion. The double decker Angus burger was superb. Love this place. You get what you paid for. Really enjoyed it.

Overall the food is a bit disappointing. The chicken and beef a bit too dry. The lamb and fish n chips was alright. Sadly it wasn’t so lively as it used to be. I asked and they said there won’t be a live band performing for some time due to Covid situation. But the staffs there are still friendly

Great place to have some quality time with family! The ambience is cozy and family friendly and the food was great. Understand that it gets crowded during lunch time, would hope to have better service as we had to go over the counter multiple times during our meal to request for things or paying the bill.

We have visited Melaka many times in our life but has never had a meal here.. ordered the following below and were pretty decent. Also had a pint of beer to complete the experience… did not stay till the band start though…prices here are similar to other outlets elsewhere in MY.. cheers!!

Gorgeous place! Really unique decor. However, it takes a long time to get served even water and their burgers are just average. Quite thick buns and no questions about how one prefers their meat cooked. Had a kumquat lemonade, but personally didn't like the flavour, it rather tasted like sweetener, not sugar. Mochito was quite delicious, but really small.

Back after 2 years, food is still good. Tried the lemongrass chicken burger and spicy lamb burger this time. It’s delicious but I still prefer the pork belly burger more. The lemon ginger beer is surprisingly good. Each table is uniquely decorated and there’s a lot of insta worthy places.

This place is a must visit in Malecca !!! We went for breakfast. Immediately we were amazed by the greens and natural lights inside. Super cozy and great music of choice. Staff friendly but hard to grab at times. Food was delicious. We got the chicken salad and aloha burger with pork belly. Both really nice. one of those hard to eat burgers but picture friendly burger if you know what I mean. Ha. Drinks were nice too. Coffee and V COFFEE. Definitely will try to visit in the evenings.

Great food, great environment, great service! They got everything right! The burgers tasted very yummy, the beef patty and lamb patty were cooked right. Get the sweet potato fries upgrade, you won’t regret it. The customer service is very commendable, very attentive and smooth process from waiting for table to serving food. Do go to the washroom for some quieter place to take photos, they have a nice looking garden over there!

We came here again after my first visit a few years back when it was just opened. It gave me a totally new perspective of the cafe. This time it is definitely more friendly, the staff is awesome and attentive. The food has always been great for me. They are now serving a decent range of craft beers that definitely suit your liking. Totally recommended and do make a reservation and plan ahead to avoid the queue.

The burgers with sweet potato fries were really good. The fudge brownies too. Cozy, natural interior. Lots of greenery around and natural lighting. Even the path to the washroom behind is aesthetic. Better to make a booking in advance because it's quite popular.

Awesome little restaurant with great food and drinks. Cozy relaxing atmosphere. Entrance isn’t so bold so look for the courtyard hotel green sign and it’s right next door. Gets very busy so advise going early. Well worth checking out. The house is a long house in typical style with different areas open to bring in sunlight and has a wonderful vibe.

Been a while since I visited this place after covid. They say some things in life never change, and this cafe is too! Coming in from the entrance, it still has the same magical feel of entering another time period or era. Soft music from studio ghibli creating a warm and inviting atmosphere Burgers were still the same quality you get last time, albeit at a higher price due to price hike. Homemade lemongrass drink was a bit less strong that what I remembered, but homemade ginger lemon beer was excellent

A must try experience, chilling at tastefully decorated restaurant with delicious affordable food. Burgers have been well reviewed by many people but lamb shank is a wonderful surprise, tender and savory sauce. Service is great too, very attentive staff. Do be prepared to wait during peak hours.

Interesting concept and felt like I was in lush greenery while dining there. Thought that the service was pretty good as I was given a bit of lemon wines to taste before i officially ordered it just in case I didn't like it. Food wise, i liked the bangers and mash more than the burger as the patty was marinated with satay sauce which I'm not sure if I love.

Fantastic! I had the Beef Rendang and it was absolutely delicious. There is more than enough food to fill you up and it flavourful, spicy. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked great. I arrived at 3 pm just as they opened and I was the first one seated and to order. This place filled-up quickly. I held back one star because somehow they lost my order and I wasn't served my meal for 40 minutes. The waitstaff was pleasant; however, this day they did not appear to pay attention as several tables attempted to flag them down repeatedly. I will visit again as the food was that good. I am hoping that it was an off-day for the waitstaff.

Lamb shank is their best! Laska is good too. Not sure about their signature beef rendang, looks beautiful but a bit dry to me. Cute little restaurant.

If anybody is in Malacca to feel the vibes, this is a go-to place. Opens at 3pm, so need to plan schedule accordingly. Closes by 9pm, just in case anyone wanna enjoy the riverside eat-out and evening drink vibes. The ambience is amazing, a heritage property housed restaurant. Efficient staffs, swift service. Recommended.

Came here for late dinner at 5min to 9pm. They were patient to inform us that it was their last call and still guide us to our table. We accepted what they recommended and had a great time.. the food was great the recommended dish wish great. Thank you Carlson for your great hospitality. See you next time

Food 10/10 While I find Malaysian cuisine rather boring this place made it is good as anyone - they also serve delicious food from other parts of Asia. Drinks 10/10 Solid, ice teas and sodas. Service 9/10 They are very good but because they are so busy it can get a little frantic. Location & Atmosphere 10/10 Perfect location and a fun place. They can get LONG QUEUES and they can SELL OUT of food, recommend coming early - early afternoon dinner within an hour or 90 mins of opening.

The first impression I had when I was walking toward this restaurant was: "majority of the customers are Caucasions!" I almost wanted to turn around and go off because a place filled with Caucasians normally screams COMMERCIALISED!!! However, I stood in line and patiently waited for my turn, which came within 10 minutes. I ordered the wild coriander special with chicken rendang, and the sambal sotong for sharing. As expected, the sambal wasn't as spicy as locals' palates... instead, it was sweet which suited Caucasians' tastes. However, I still did enjoy the food. I also ordered the soursop ice but it was diluted, hence not impressive. Price-wise was on the slightly higher side. Ambience was really nice and reminded me of my own grandmother's house, with the house being divided into several sections. Service was good and friendly.

Reached the restaurant around 6pm and glad there was no queue. We get a big round table for 5 of us. The service is good. Ordered Pie Tee (5 pieces per order) and Rojak as appetizers. Both tasted good. The dishes overall tasted ok but nothing fantastic..squid sambal - nice, chicken mushroom, brinjal pajeri, ladies fingers with sambal - ok, fish stuffed with sambal - a bit hard, prawn pineapples tasted a bit weird, seems not fresh. We ordered 5x white rice and lemongrass drink. Total bill is rm208.

We recently visited a cozy restaurant that had a welcoming atmosphere. We decided to try their sambal squid, and it turned out to be enjoyable and packed with flavor. Their nasi lemak also impressed us with its fragrant aroma. Today, we returned to the restaurant and ordered the same dishes as well as exploring other options like otak-otak and laksa. While the squid sambal remained delicious, we felt that the otak-otak and laksa could benefit from additional seasoning to enhance their flavors. Throughout our two-day dining experience, we were fortunate to be served by Carson, a remarkably professional and attentive server. Carson provided us with exceptional service, going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, and even helping us capture a memorable photograph. Overall, we were pleased with the experience.

Came here around 4pm and there were plenty of empty seats. Waiter was very detailed in explaining the dish to us. Fast service. Environment is not bad. We ordered cendol, rendang rice and salted egg cake. All taste not bad but not super impressive. Not a bad place for lunch but as a tourist this place is not so good that worth a second visit when I come to malacca again.

Ordered pie tee, wild coriander special chicken rendang, and chicken mushroom. The taste of the foods here are tasty and highly recommended. However the taste is not really or similar to not ya style but it acceptable taste. Enjoy with family and friends having meal here. Enjoy

If you’re coming from states that already have Nyonya culture, like Penang, really don’t recommend you to eat here. Food is decent, prawn is not fresh. But environment is good. I don’t really like the waiters kept on asking whether they can keep the plates or not, I have not even finished with my meal yet. It’s annoying. Price is reasonable if considering it’s at tourist spot.
