We visited this landmark of Macao. Its UNESCO World Heritage Site, very busy place that day or maybe in general too? So Interesting and beautiful ! It is very unique, the old town mixed between the Chinese and Portuguese architectural styles. We also stopped at this unique Starbucks there and around that area we also found the delicious Portuguese Tart as shown in the pics 👌

A true heritage and historical places which reflect the eastern and western buildings back then. A must to visit if you come to Macau by any chance, drop by and take some pictures, shopping and enjoy their local snack. It was an amazing experience based on my opinion!

The Ruins of St. Paul's Church. Built in the 17th Century by the Portuguese in honor of St. Paul. Burnt during world war II and the only remains is the facade of the church. This landmark commemorates to the spread of Christianity and The introduction of Catholic Religion by the Portuguese in Southern Province of China.

The landmark of Macau, went during a very busy day but it was still beautiful. Theres also a small temple next to it. Its also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its unique in China because the old town mixes Chinese and Portuguese architectural styles.

Loads of lovely markets with free samples/tasters on the way, bustling environment, quite busy Did not need to buy tickets to go in, there was no wait. There are rocks and a small museum inside.

Super crowded place which not recommended to go if you intend to take photo. However, if you enjoy View and food, is a nice place to be there. The pork steak bun was amazing and portion are quite big. As usual the biscuits selling was famous and taste was great as well. Don't miss the egg tart which is must try items. A UNESCO heritage place and a must-see historical attraction of Macao. You need to climb the steps to the ruins from which you can see a nice view at the city center. On Sunday day there were so many people though that it was hard to make a step without bumping into someone. Nice place but probably better to visit when there are no crowds around. Recommend - get some takeaway food and enjoy it on the steps.

Having travelled through South America and Europe this was not very surprising. It is definitely a must visit while in Macao but it is excessively crowded and it's hard to enjoy it with hundreds of people. I think the whole area must feel more special early in the morning or in the evening when crowds start thinning out.

Most crowded landmark in Macau. Came on a public holiday and it was overcrowded that the police have to implement a one way crowd control. It’s beautiful but the museum behind was very lack lustre. Would really suggest people to not go on a public holiday and at 12pm when the sun is so hot.

Nice property to stay for 2 nights. I enjoyed my stay there. if staying here be prepared to walk around 10 to 15 min to reach your room. Rooms are big and comfortable.

It modeled on its sister casino resort, The Venetian Las Vegas. The casino resort building resembles a huge structure. Stand in front of the casino, you feel like you are in Las Vegas, and inside the casino, you feel like you are in the Italian city of Venice. Though it's not free, take a romantic ride in a gondola down the canals of the Shoppes at the Venetian. Entrance to the casino is free, and you will play on a table with as little as 300~500 HKD. You can also plan one day trip from Hongkong if you don't want to stay in Macao.

Really nice casino! Even if you don’t gamble, you can still have a good time hanging around in the shopping mall and even riding on a gondola!

Love the Venetian interiors of this room. I would have gave it 5/5 if I wasn't woken up by the drilling noises from next door and both TVs also failed to connect to my phone.

On June 18, 2023, my wife and I came here again after a lapse of a few years. This time, we took a（ 永東）coach back to Hong Kong direct. We just waited at a side room of the hotel’s main entrance/exit.

One of the most important attractions in Macau, there are many drugstores and shops nearby for tourists to shop. Exquisite Portuguese architecture is preserved. There are beautiful lighting decorations on important festivals such as Christmas/Chinese New Year, which is very charming. There are music performances in the square from 6 to 8 pmin the evening. It is worth coming to feel the atmosphere.

The one place in Macau you must visit on travel. This place holds the historical charm and old style Portuguese buildings with cobble streets that take you back in time. All this also leads up to the ruins of St. Paul’s which is a unesco world heritages

Senado Square is a paved town square in Macau also a part of UNESCO Historic Centre of Macau World Heritage Site. Vast majority of the buildings around the square are European styled and many are protected monuments. Beautiful place with shopping option, every corner is picturesque. A Must Visit In Macau !!

Right in the centre of Macau city. Busiest place filled with tourists. Good place to look for public toilet and it is free. You can find the way by smelling once you step in the stairway.

The sky was just unbelievable when I was there! It looks unreal even now thinking about it. It’s very touristic full of mainland Chinese especially, but the whole district is quite impressive. A Portugese touch in a tiny plot of land, back in the days of early settlement it must have been so unreal. And of course the egg tarte was excellent! A must try, it was delicious :)

From Macau Immigration building buses are just waiting outside,we don't know what bus to take, so we asked the bus staff and she told us to take bus 101X pass this Senado Square.. Remember to prepare your hkcoins or Macau coins before taking 101X bus its crowded place,lots of shopping mall. Foods and clothing are quiet cheaper.

Most likely to visit if you’re in Macau 🇲🇴 variety of food and shopping options, at late night so many people sitting and drinking, mostly Philipina. A must to visit attraction.

A pretty crowded place with this being considered the ‘city centre’. There’s obviously a lot of shops and food places around. Everything is within a walkable distance such as the ruins of St Paul, the yellow church etc. definitely a must-see place since it replicates the Portuguese wave-tiled floors as well as the building’s architecture and colourful pastel colours. The street names also retain their Portuguese colonial history, hence the name itself ‘Senado square’

The best part about visiting Macau. I went of the sky walk and it was an amazing experience. Your guide will take lots of pictures for you and then give you them on a USB. Amazing thing to do!!!! My only tip would be that if I were to go again I would not take my bag with me as there are not a huge amount of lockers available.

One of the best places to view Macau's landscapes. Nice atmosphere inside the observation deck. You can also try bungee jumping, Skywalk to experience thrill adventures. You can get photo of your visit memory if you can pay around 100 MOP.

Been here several times. The view from the observation deck is nice, however strongly recommend skywalk to see the view from outside. Even if you are afraid, the instructors make really good mood and fun atmosphere. A small group will go out only, you have to book in advance. You get plenty of photos and great experience. The instructors speak perfect English and are very friendly. For those who want more adrenalin, try skyjjump.

This was my second time here. It was on a weekday and there wasn’t any wait. There were some visitors but wasn’t crowded at all. It has a nice 360 indoor observation area and have a nice view of the vicinity. There is a bungee jump you could pay extra for. While we were there, I saw some people getting ready for it. There are also a glass floor area you could walk or step on, so you could look straight down. It is definitely a landmark for tourists. At the base of the tower, it connects to a mall with stores and restaurants.

Beautiful view from the top, it is definitely worth its price. There's indoor observation deck on floor 58 and outdoor one on floor 61. I personally enjoyed indoor much more, as the view is unobstructed and there are even glass panels in the floor, allowing you to see the ground directly under your feet. There's a possibility of bungee jumping or sky walk on the floor 61.

The world-class facilities, entertainment activities, and delicious local cuisines, under one roof at the Entertainment Center, is going to leave everyone spellbound.</p> <p>However, I was here to try my first-hand experience in Bungee jumping. At 233 meters (764 metrest), the Macau Tower's "sky jump" and&Bungee jump&by&AJ Hackett& from the tower's outer rim, is the highest commercial sky jump in the world. Unfortunately, given the wind speed after the Typhoon, the activity was called off, leaving me crestfallen. Looking my However, I made up for the occasion by walking around the outer rim completely roped to the surface. Yet, the gust of wind at times picked me up from the ground a couple of times. It was an exhilarating experience walking around the edge of the building, feeling light-headed and hearted and having a bird's eye view of the panorama in front of you. At the end of the errand, I was glad that the bungee jumping was called off.

One of the highlights of my solo trip - the Macau Tower! Amazing views by day and night (I went in the early evening and stayed till night to catch both views). I wasn't daring enough to attempt the sky walk or bungee jump but it was thrilling watching other people have so much fun, added well to the whole ambience of the place. The buffet dinner at the revolving restaurant was amazing, such a wide selection of quality food and the service was impeccable. They have a shop selling very cute and well curated merchandise too, for those who want to bring something home as mementoes or gifts. Special thanks to Ms. Victoria Fuh for showing me around and explaining the history and geographical layout of the great viewpoints. I had a truly wonderful first visit to the Macau Tower and will definitely bring friends and family on my next trip!

Built in 1488 is supposed to be the oldest building in the country. It has six wings, and the architectural design of each part is simply stunning. The entrance to the temple is guarded by majestic stone lions and a winding path follows as you enter the gates. Recommended duration 20 mins

Beautiful Chinese Temple. A-Ma is actually means grandma.. but I'm not sure who gave this name. The day I went there, they have a Chinese Lions performance. It was fun and excited!

Lovely Daoist temple in old Macau. It has multiple levels to it so theres some climbing. It predates the Portuguese colonial town, and is a great example of local Chinese/Cantonese style temples in Macau.

This is one of the oldest spots of macau and a rich cultural and heritage value. Not very big but still a place worth to visit . Even if you have 15 minutes it is worth to go to this place and visit. A-Ma Temple (Templo de A-Má) or Mazu Pavilion (A-Ma Go in the local dialect), is a historical iconic temple in Macau, which has rich religious elements of Chinese Taoism and Buddhism. According to legend, it was built for the convenience of worshiping Mazu by the Chinese fishermen who lived along the coast in the 15th century. Because they believed in Mazu as the "Goddess of the Sea", they must burn incense and worship before going fishing every day to pray for a good fishing result and safety. When the Portuguese landed in the local area, they mistranslated by slips of tongue to the local dialect "A-Ma Go" into "Macao", so it has become the current local name since then. Many Taoist and Buddhist statues are enshrined in the Mazu Temple, including Mazu, Avalokitesvara, Queen of Heaven and so on. It has always been devoutly worshiped and prayed by believers, and tourists burn incense to worship too, making the temple is filled with incense smoke. The temple building is full of classical style and is a scenic spot for tourists to take pictures. The open area of ​​the temple is condescending and you can also see the beautiful scenery of the sea, and is also a good focus for photographers. (211122/x)

Most of the dishes is slightly average and a few dishes above Average. The dishes are towards saltiness, preferably requested less salt if u want good health.

The food is pretty standard Crystal Jade (maybe a little bit below their usual standard). The texture of the noodle was a bit over cooked. The price seems a bit more expensive than usual but if you have the Sands membership card (it’s free to apply) you get a 10% off (so basically no service fee). The eight flavors Xiao Long Bao was good. They don’t tell you which is which though. Red: spicy beef/ Green: green beans/ Yellow: cheese/ White: original/ Orange: spicy chicken/ Black: truffle/ Brown: Foie Gras (I forgot which flavor is the “dark yellow). And the middle one is almost like a custard ball.

The La Mian were some of the best noodles I’ve ever had. A nice place to have a meal while you’re in Macau.

Unfortunately google doesn’t allow to 4.5 stars cuz I was very impressed that the native chef came out to greet and I know who cooked my meals! The best is their steak cooked in medium and there’s no pink liquid leaking when is sliced I must say it is perfect!

Food is great and I especially liked their steak with bernaise sauce with mashed potatoes. An improvement point would be their service as it was slow and waiters needed reminding.

Staff is very nice. A meal here is an exquisite experience. Some of the dishes could use a bit more flavour and some have expensive prices. But, overall it’s a nice place. Some of the combined meals allow you to try a wide diversity of dishes and they are all presented to you without any flaws.

Had lunch here after checking into the Parisian Macau. The set lunch was worth it . Food is good and well done. Service is excellent from the team there. Overall a good place to dine in comfort.

Cantonese cuisine interpreted in a creative manner. We had tomato confit and iceplant salad as a starter. Iceplant salad topping with spherification of mango juice (Molecular cuisine). Crispy fresh plant combined with Molecular fruit. Exclusive yet creative. Although cubed tofu coating with salted egg is kind of staple food, its intense savory coating melted in mouth so lightly, almost forgot it should be high calorie greasy fritters. The rest dishes: baked duck, prawn balls sprinkled with shredded pumpkin, fermented-fish meat cake are tasty too. Worth to go with family.

Food was good but the chicken was a bit dry. The chorizo was amazing. The service was good, we went to the back area which has a much better atmosphere. You feel like you are in a farmhouse. Would go there again.

I recently visited Fernando's in Macau and had an overall positive experience. The food was the standout feature of the restaurant, with its rich Portuguese flavors and expert preparation. The bread was particularly noteworthy, with a fluffy interior and crispy shell that was irresistible. One of the standout dishes was the shrimp, which was exceptionally delicious. The garlic clams and sardines were also highlights of the meal and were cooked to perfection. However, the sangria was a bit of a letdown, as it didn't quite live up to my expectations. Unfortunately, the male owner/server could have been more welcoming. He didn't seem particularly interested in answering questions about the menu or providing any additional information about the three different sangria options. When I asked about them, he simply stated that one was red and one was white, without offering any further explanation. His dismissive and somewhat rude attitude detracted from the overall experience. Despite this, I would still be willing to return to Fernando's in the future, but I would prefer to avoid his table. The food is definitely worth another visit, but I would hope for a more welcoming and informative server next time.

This little corner of Macau is well worth travelling to. If you want some authentic great food come here. Really great with a large group so you can try lots of dishes and lovely selection of food. Only issue is not the restaurant but the location. Hard to get a taxi back. But don’t worry the 26x and 21x buses take you to where you need to go and is quick. Just make sure you have a m pass. Must see place

A very spacious restaurant that provides ampt amount of seating. The atmosphere here transforms you to a rustic simple time. Service here is quick and friendly. The food here is delicious and flavourful. Best to come in a large group so you can try more as it comes family style. The clams, rice and pork were my favourite dishes here.

Wow amazing food and location. It was my first time eating Portuguese food and it was really good. We had an awesome guide to find this location. We would definitely go back and try more of their great food.

I have been several times to Fernando, and some times the place is a hit or miss. Luckily tonight the place was not full so service was ok and quick. We ordered Sardines, Feijoada, Chorizo and Clams. The clams was the best dish in my opinion. The feijoada had a strange after taste, could be the pork, tasted like it was spoiled in some way. I read some reviews about the price but honestly the portions are huge. I kind of think we ordered too much so I suggest to order 2 dishes first and then add more if you are still hungry. Total for the 4 dishes and a bottle of 1.5L of water (45 MOP) was 541 MOP. For what we ordered a family of 4 would be more than satisfied.

Great place in the more quiet part of Macau. Easy access by bus or taxi. Perfect place for lunch or dinner combined with few hours at the beach next door.

Took a little effort to get to, but was with the trip. Got a tip to ask for the room at the back, was more spacious. Had 6 people in the group so it was better, however they put us at a table with a column touching it, so a couple people where blocked off from each other lol. Food was good. Especially liked the tomato salad, a steak with fries, bread, shrimp… basically everything. Some people thought the desserts were too sweet, but as an American they were fine for me lol. Friendly staff, even gave us recommendations for how to get back home and what other places to visit that night. The recommended club was not great, but that’s another story lol.

With the glowing reviews here I have to give this place a try. In the end a bit disappointed. Maybe Portuguese Macanese cuisine is not for me. We had suckling pig platter, prawn in sauce and grand Ma soup. The suckling is excellent, tender but cooked and fries complement the food well. The prawns are a disappointment. Soggy and tasted full of garlic. The grandma soup is bland. The bread is freshly baked. 557 MOP without alcohol for 2 pax. Environment is pretty unique if you like end of the road restaurant in a house kind of thing. Well I tried once and unlikely to go again. PS no problems getting a cab or public bus. There is a popular beach nearby

Great food and service! We ordered quite a bit to share and the quantity was just right. The waiter was good at ensuring we got just enough for the table. Drinks were also great and for the one person who got a dessert on our table, there were no complaints. This place has a Michelin Star but although the food was good, I’m not sure that it’s star worthy. Well worth a visit. Wouldn’t have thought there’s quality Indian food in Macau but this is a big contender!

The ambiance of the restaurant is nice. I like all the food presentation. Some dishes were good. I went with my boyfriend and we order a lot to have a taste of it. FYI, I don’t used to eat these cuisine so my preference is different. They accept last order around 9PM by the way. Closes at 10PM. One of the best meals I have honestly ever had anywhere in the world. The setting was awesome. The food was stunning. Photos attached to show some of the ways they present the food. We had the degustation menu which was a great way to try a range of dishes. If I am ever back in Macau I would always come back here. One of those places that you would never get tired of.
