Macau

Macau is a city with a long and fascinating history. Originally part of Canton, it was ceded to Portugal in 1887 and was the last European colony in Asia. It is the only place in China where gambling is legal, but Macau offers more than just table games. Its casinos are known for their luxurious settings, and high-end shopping opportunities abound. Macau’s proximity to Hong Kong also means a wealth of cultural activities, as well as excellent dining and hotels.
