Get up close and personal with Hollywood! Great way to spend a day. The new Nintendo World is AWESOME! They have really outdone themselves with this one. You really need to go and see it. This year through Aug, they have “Dark Nights” at Hogwarts. Don’t miss it if you’re there , It is really cool! All in all a great day spent riding some fun rides and making memories!

It's basically the best theme park on the planet. But also because of that, every attraction has at least 1 hour queue time during a Tuesday. Those new popular ones, such as super Nintendo world will need over 2 hours. The food in the park is surprisingly delicious and everywhere has handicap access. Lastly, make sure you bring sun screens to avoid sun burn!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As someone who loves entertainment and thrills, my recent visit to Universal Studios in Los Angeles was an absolute dream come true! The park itself is immaculately maintained and truly lives up to its reputation as the entertainment capital. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was graced with an array of stunning attractions and experiences. The rides were beyond thrilling, with heart-pounding moments that left me breathless. Transformers: The Ride 3D and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter were definite highlights for me, as they truly transported me into the worlds of my favorite characters. The attention to detail in design and the craftsmanship of the themed areas were truly mind-blowing. Whether exploring the streets of Springfield or walking through the iconic Jurassic Park gates, I felt like I was stepping into my favorite movies and TV shows. But it's not just about the rides and attractions - the park offers so much more. From incredible shows and performances to delicious dining options, there was never a dull moment during my visit. The staff members were friendly, helpful, and full of enthusiasm, adding to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend Universal Studios in Los Angeles to everyone, regardless of age or interests. It's a place where magic truly comes to life, leaving visitors with unforgettable memories. I cannot wait to return and experience more of the incredible world that Universal Studios has to offer!

Holiday decorations were plentiful and all around very well done. While I can't fit on most of the rides at Universal the ambiance and overall feel was awesome to walk around and enjoy. The blocks of time for nighttime tree lighting and Hogwarts displays were done very well. Really helped make it so you didn't feel like you'd miss anything. To maximize the day I'd recommend arriving at park opening, just allows a few quick near walk-ons in the opening hour. Food options a plenty and can be had on a whim for the most part. Mobile order? Who needs it, if you're hungry just walk up and grab food (well save for some popcorn stands and Starbucks). As a quick-tip if you're looking for the Minion holiday popcorn bucket, head to Minion Cafe and get it there, then take the receipt to any popcorn cart to get filled. For safety stuffs: Security and Vaccine/Negative test checks were easy and quick (though still thorough). I'd say most guests were masked and in general all around very pleasant. No fuss, no issues, it was an all around chill atmosphere with everyone enjoying. All around 10/10 - if you want a holiday theme park visit this fits the bill nicely.

The park was absolutely amazing and fun! We had a blast! Must try the Transformer, mummy ride, and Harry Potter inside the castle. Those are the absolute best! I recommend upgrading to the express unlimited tickets. Cost was like $307 each but we did not have any wait times and rode rides back to back and the same people were still standing 1hr plus away after we would pass through like 2 times. We completed the park by 5pm and had arrived at 9:30am. We were only able to do this because we had the express.

We went on memorial day and expected it to be super packed. Happily, it was not. We had plenty of room to walk around. We purchased the lightning passes and I loved it. We got to ride every ride we wanted to in the park except for the rides in super Nintendo world. If you plan on going specifically for that, I recommend you plan ahead and purchase the "get into the park an hour early" pass so you can get in line early. The super Nintendo world was very immersive and was like walking into a fantasy land. If you love Mario I highly recommend visiting. All in all we had an amazing time. I liked the mummy coaster ride the best. I totally didn't think I would but it was so much fun! Go check it out! ❤️

It's a completely different experience than Disney Land. All of the attractions, shows, and games make for a great time. The Harry Potter area was great and the kids came out saying that was the best part of the whole trip. Nintendo World is a great visible experience, Mario Kart Browser Challenge not so much (the game effects were great), don't get me wrong it was fun, but after spending 3 hours in line due to a maintenance issue, the 5 minute ride no longer had an appeal. Without the issue expect to wait at least an hour and a half. Also make sure to reserve your virtual wait time very early or you may not get the opportunity to do so. Hope you all have a great experience visiting Universal Studios!

As always, arrive early to get a good parking spot. It is worth it to get the universal express pass, which is like their version of a fast pass. I was able to walk right onto the Jurassic World ride. The wait times are usually not that bad if you get there before noon on the weekend, or during a weekday when it’s not the summer. It’s so amazing there. I had an absolutely wonderful time. CityWalk is also great. They have so many wonderful restaurants. I would highly recommend that you visit in Universal Studios, if you are visiting Los Angeles.

Exceed my expectation! So much fun especially with the Mario experience. The Mario cart ride is interactive and lot of fun! The Harry Potter ride is really good and feel realistic especially the broom ride portion. Drinking in Moe’s Tavern is a dream come true! And Duff beer is pretty good. No wonder Homer love it. The most important part here is the studio ride! The movie sets are excellent and love the transformer, fast and furious, and the Meg live action. The raining and flooding part is also great! At first my trip in LA does not include visiting Universal Studio.. and luckily we change our plan and didn’t regret a bit!

We did the VIP tour and it was incredible! I would highly recommend it if you don’t want to spend the entire day waiting in lines. Our tour guide was very nice, and took us on every one of the rides in the park with zero weight. Note the weights even in the express lines was 30 minutes for some of the more popular rides. We had a couple of hours before and after our tour to wander the park on our own. We were able to ride all of our favorite rides multiple times. Even though the VIP pass is supposed to put you into the express line when you were not on the tour, our experience was at the staff lots of VIPs to the front of the line even when they’re not on a tour. In the entire day we waited less than five minutes in line ever. The buffet lunch was also very impressive. Much better food that he would normally get in a park. Add to this included breakfast in valet parking, and the VIP pass is a great deal compared to the express pass. You can save money and spend the entire day waiting in 70 to 90 minute lines, or you can get the VIP pass and do everything you want. On the back lot tour we were able to get off the tram and walk around through some of the movie sets. It was really fun to see the set of the good Place, as well as one of the crash scenes from war of the worlds.

First time here and it was magical! All the staff are helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The park is fairly easy to navigate with the front/back lots and the upper/lower lots. We were able to go to every attraction and show and each was unique and fun. This park has lots of fun for all ages. It’s important to note that unlike the other universal studios this one has a huge lot tour, where you’re able to see different sound stages and behind the scenes sets. Due to this, they have less thrilling rides compared to other locations. Highly recommend coming here and would also highly suggest the express pass to bypass the lines!

We came specifically for Super Nintendo World & it did not disappoint. It was so neat to experience. We waited almost 3 hours to ride the Mario Kart ride so that wasn’t fun, but we’re glad we did it. The rest of Universal was a bonus. The Harry Potter ride was pretty cool if you aren’t prone to motion sickness.

Went on a sold out Thursday to go to Mario World. We didn't do early tickets. Missed most of City Walk and the one section of the park. Lines were 2 to 3 hours. Had a fire alarm go off in Mario World and the whole attraction stopped. The only good thing that came out of it, is we got to eat at Toadstool. The Mario Kart Race broke down and we had to wait 30 minutes for that. Jurassic Park water ride also broke down and we waited. Potter world was jammed packed, barely could walk in the stores. The rides were cool in HP. The rides were fun, Mario World was great. If we were to go again, we would try to find an off peak day to enjoy it more.

Fun times, if planned accordingly you can get to everything in one day. Plenty of clean bathrooms and water fountains. Food prices are very theme park but mostly good. The longest wait was Super Nintendo 1 hr since it's the newest attraction. In the process of making a roller coaster that will run next to the stairs. Good to see improvements.

It was good. The views are great from outside and the exhibits and displays inside are really great. They are interactive and fun to engage with. The staff was very knowledgeable and courteous. My one complaint is that they didn't open until noon. A later opening is understandable, but not until noon. There were a couple hundred people waiting around outside for them to open. In the summer time, a 9 or 10 opening seems more than reasonable. Overall, good experience.

Amazing, educational & a must see in LA. This is our first trip to California and this was our first stop. Parking can be an issue though. We drove up through the Hollywood Hills to Griffith around 5pm. Once there, we drove to the top in search of a parking spot. We found one near the top but all the nearby meters were broken. 🤷‍♂️ We walked around, took pics of the Hollywood sign, looked at the amazing exhibits inside, & watched 2 shows. Side note: "Signs of Life" costs ($10 adults, $8 teachers/students/seniors, kids 5-12 are $6, kids under 5 are free) but is a MUST SEE. You need to arrive 15 min before your show. When we go again, I'd get there a little earlier. We missed the telescope. 😞 (The telescope closes at 9:30) Oh well, next time. Can't wait! 🌠 🔭 🙂

I visited Griffith Observatory during the mid-Autumn festival, hoping to catch a glimpse of the moon. Unfortunately, the evening was cloudy, and the moon remained elusive. However, my disappointment quickly turned into delight as I explored the fascinating world of nighttime science at the observatory. The Griffith Observatory, perched atop the hills of Los Angeles, offers an exceptional experience for both astronomy enthusiasts and casual visitors. Despite missing out on lunar views, there was so much to see and learn inside. The planetarium shows were captivating, shedding light on the mysteries of our universe, and the interactive exhibits provided hands-on learning experiences that were both entertaining and educational. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the telescopes on the observatory's terrace. Even though the moon was hidden from view, the knowledgeable staff was more than willing to guide visitors through the night sky, showcasing stars, planets, and other celestial wonders. It was a unique opportunity to connect with the cosmos and appreciate the beauty of the universe. The observatory's location is also a treat in itself. The panoramic views of Los Angeles from the terrace are breathtaking, especially at night when the city lights twinkle below. It's a serene escape from the bustling urban life of LA. While I couldn't fulfill my moon-gazing dreams that night, my visit to Griffith Observatory was a memorable and enriching experience. It's a place that not only ignites curiosity about the universe but also offers a serene retreat to contemplate the mysteries of the cosmos while enjoying the captivating science of the night.

This is one of my favorite places to go to in Los Angeles. The Good: —The views on all sides are absolutely breathtaking! —You can see the Hollywood Sign on the right side up on Mt. Lee. —You can park for free on West Observatory Road, West Canyon Road, and the upper parking lot by the Observatory on Monday through Friday from opening until 12:00 P.M. and on Saturday and Sunday from opening until 9:00 A.M. —There are a lot of trails near there, and there are many ways to get a great workout. The Bad —Parking is $10.00 per hour in the upper parking lot and on roads near the Observatory anytime Monday to Friday after 12:00 P.M. and on Saturday and Sunday after 9:00 A.M. —Currently, the buildings are only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Accessibility: there are some disabled parking spots in the parking closest to the Observatory, but it is still not a very short distance, be aware. If you can walk but have difficulty walking, I do recommend bringing your own wheelchair. Once you get up to the Observatory, there are ramps on both the left and right side of the Observatory to go inside of it and skip the stairs directly in front. The doors are propped open to get inside the Observatory, and there are elevators to get from the first floor up to the top of the Observatory, and a separate elevator to go down to the gift shop and separate exhibits. This place is surprisingly accessible. I did not see any wheelchairs here to rent, though. It is SUPER busy on the weekends, so if you want to skip some of the crowd, try to go during workday hours in the week. Experience: this place is super cool and beautiful. There are incredible views from everywhere here, and the Observatory itself is amazing and educational. Even kids will enjoy this place! This is one of those must-see places in Los Angeles. 5 out of 5 stars! Tip: no pets allowed inside the Observatory, but you can have your pet on a leash outside the Observatory.

A classic landmark with a beautiful view of both the city and the stars and a long, rich history behind it. They've shot everything from Rebel Without A Cause and The Terminator to Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Back To The Future here. If you go inside they have some awesome space and science exhibits (even a functional Tesla Coil!). If you stay outside, you can get some nice photos of the L.A. skyline as well as the Hollywood sign. Lots of great hiking trails all around too. Highly recommend everyone checking it out at least once, whether you're a tourist or a native. You're bound to find something you enjoy.

From the moment we approached the iconic building perched atop the Griffith Park hills, we were captivated by its grandeur. The architecture itself is a masterpiece, evoking a sense of timeless elegance that made us feel like we had stepped into a scene from a classic Hollywood movie. The highlight of our visit was, without a doubt, the awe-inspiring view of the cityscape and the glittering night sky from the observatory's terrace. As the sun set on the horizon, the city lights began to twinkle like stars below us, creating a surreal ambiance. It was a surreal feeling that transported us right into the iconic scene from the Terminator movie, where the observatory played a pivotal role in the plot. In conclusion, our visit to the Griffith Observatory was an unforgettable experience that left us feeling inspired and enlightened. The blend of science, history, and breathtaking views was truly exceptional, and we can't wait to return

Saw this place more than hundred times on TV, but you don't realize how astonishing Griffith Observatory is until you are here in person. The building of the observatory itself is such an elegant architecture situated up on the hill of Hollywood, plus the story of Mr. Griffith, this is definitely a must visit place when you are in LA downtown area. Meanwhile, this is also the perfect location to appreciate the night view of the Great LA metropolitan area, just utterly beautiful.

I love to come here and just walk around as a place in LA to explore. What’s great is that there are trails for us to walk here if you love to hike that are close as well. In any case, the Griffith Observatory is a free place to come to whether if you love to have a friend to explore with, by yourself, and just looking for something to do, or want to go on a date with someone without spending a lot of money. The views are nice and usually there are a great amount of parking, which is better of course if you are coming over a weekday versus the weekend. Long story short, come on and check it out if you haven’t already done so because it is a fun, free place for people to come to. (unless you were going to check out the other movies that they have and which you will have to pay a ticket for) Until soon !!

What can you say, the GO is iconic on a number of levels. It's much larger than I expected and the displays are very interesting. My wife and sons saw one of the planetarium shows and they thoroughly enjoyed it. I stayed out on the upper terrace enjoying the unbelievable night view of the city and surrounding area. It'd be nice if the parking system was better but I guess you can only stuff a finite number of cars on a mountaintop. Recommended!

Los Angeles " Observatory" Center Griffith Observatory Center Hollywood, California I have toured this place for many years, (since the 80s), and every time I go their, this place amazes me. The view here is heavenly. It is on top of the Hollywood mountain or Hill. Please take your good camera with you, there's a lot to see and remember. You will be able to see or observe the Stars above through a big long telescope, also you will observe the city of Los Angeles for miles long. Very close by is the Griffith Park, The Los Angeles Zoo, and more. While you're their, check out the ⭐✨ Stars Walk on Hollywood Blvd. And Universal Studios is a couple of minutes away from their. Enjoy your tours and be safe!!

Excellent place to visit, don't be put off by the seeming 'big' queues, the queues move quickly and it's worth the wait. Parking can seem like a chore, you can park on the side of the road leading up to the Observatory or drive up to the top. Either way you'll pay $10/hr to park, This sounds a lot but it actually keeps the place 'moving' and prevents people parking all day 👍 If you don't want to hike up the hill just join the queue for the Car Park at the top, you won't wait long to get up there and get a Parking space 😉 As for the Observatory, it is really good 👍😎 great views across LA from its many Balconies and Terraces, the main part is free to visit and has some great exhibits. Well worth a trip 😎

A great place -if not the best to watch sunset in LA. You can have a great view of downtown LA and the city, as well as the sun setting behind the Hollywood sign! There usually is a lot of people coming to see the sunset, so be sure to be there pretty early if you want some good parking spots, not too far. It is very crowded, but it's cool. Plus, inside is a pretty cool exhibit explaining various astronomy and space exploration techniques, so it's very instructive. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a spot to watch sunset in LA, not too far from the city.

Great museum with lot of amazing paintings from internationally renowned artists. The drive up the hill with the small „train“ is great fun, entry is free but good luck getting there without a car (parking available for a considerable fee). Narrow parking spaces underground. It’s a great place to just walk around and let your mind wander, beautiful views over LA as well.

During my visit, I discovered a multitude of reasons to fall in love with this place. Sitting on top of a mountain offers gorgeous views and scenery that simply take your breath away. Finding a place to relax and unwind is never a challenge. With beautiful maintained lawns, gardens, water features and inviting benches scattered throughout the grounds, visitors can find tranquility. It's the perfect spot to sit back, soak up the sun, and revel in the beauty that surrounds you. One cannot help but be captivated by the art and architecture within the Getty Museum. The exhibits showcase an impressive collection spanning various eras and genres. From classical sculptures and Renaissance paintings to contemporary installations, each piece tells a unique story, inviting visitors to delve into the world of artistic expression. Exploring the museum's exhibits is a joy, as you have the freedom to stroll at your own pace. The convenience of the tram system for entering and exiting the museum is a thoughtful touch. Moreover, the fact that the Getty Museum offers free admission is commendable, as it provides access to art and culture for everyone. However, it's worth noting that parking does cost but the experience and the amenities provided make it a reasonable investment. I 1000% recommend visiting this place, I’ll be back for sure.

Amazing and huge museum. Can’t believe it’s free and even if it’s not- totally worth visiting. Parking fee is 20$ till 3pm and later it’s 15$. It was bit crowded when we visited, it took lot of time for parking so I’d recommend to plan visit accordingly. It has a great collection of European art, well maintained gardens, galleries and many more. Beautiful architecture. Very well designed and maintained. It’s built on a hill, from parking you can walk all the way to museum main entrance or they also have trains. It also has amazing views of LA from top. We had reserved it in advance however they were admitting people without reservations. Must visit place when in LA.

I have come at least 7 times since it’s close to my job. It’s so nice to see all the art but don’t expect to be able to finish it all within 4 hours. I think it would take a whole day to complete but that sounds awesome to me because all the art is so beautiful. Especially the French area. Love the gift shop and found my new favorite tea there. Anytime friends want to know something to do, I always recommend going here. Took my husband for his first time there as well. Great date, adventure, or just study and chill location. They have a cafe that has foods like sandwiches and chips as well as some sweet treats. They also serve beer/wine if that’s your thing. There are also 2 other restaurants on the premises but when I went it was a very limited menu so I didn’t end up trying anything. According to the servers the portions are about the size of a baby bowl but for the price of a feast yet also mediocre quality. So I personally don’t recommend but if you really want the Beverly Hills experience and to feel fancy, I’d recommend other places than this restaurant. However it doesn’t change my opinion on the museum itself. I never bought or reserved a ticket and never had issues going in. They always say that next time I will need to reserve but I’ve gone so often without doing that so go at your own risk if you don’t want to reserve a ticket.

Amazing place to spend time with your kids! I do admit that a 4 year old boy doesn’t really go with viewing art. But the Getty offers wide open park, where you can run around, let them explore in the safe environment. The admission is free but parking is $20. Do make sure to pack your own drinks and light meals like sandwiches because food there is quite expensive. Coming back definitely!!!

The architecture of this building is gorgeous and the gardens are stunning. There are coffee shops here or you could do a little picnic on the garden. The entrance to the museum is free but you will have to reserve tickets online. Parking for the day is $15. There are busses that will take you from the entrance after security checks to the exhibition halls or you could also take a nice slow walk up the slope. The museum has lovely collection. You can spend the whole day here wondering through the collections and reading through his biography, grab a nice sandwich and coffee and just enjoy the garden.

Awesome cultural experience overall. Great mix of art and culture in four pavilions of two floors, including paths to incredible outdoor scenes and vistas to Los Angeles County and the Pacific Ocean. Beautiful outdoor gardens showcasing a variety of fauna. A beautiful day under the sun and inside galleries. I don't know what's more inspiring, the artwork or the views!

Always an enjoyable experience visiting The Getty! They still require a reservation or timed-ticket entries at the time of this writing, but it was no hassle, just present it and you'll proceed through the line. I liked the Still life paintings, a lot of detail goes into it, reminds me of my art classes I took when I was younger except they were charcoal black/white drawings, dealing with colors is a whole another level. The outdoor panoramic views of Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean to the west were spectacular. Went during the evening and watching the sunset was nice and gave the museum building a nice golden hue. Thanks for a great time!

Absolutely beautiful place to visit, amazing architecture, grassy areas to relax or have a picnic in the sun. The tram ride up is beautiful as well. They always have different museum exhibits going on. I happened to go on a day they had a special exhibit showcasing the Black community and culture. I really loved it! And the best part is it's always free to come. If you are visiting LA this should definitely be on your list of places to visit!

Wow! Definitely worth the visit. Park in the main garage and just follow the crowd for the free tram to transfer you the Getty museum. The tram ride is frequently so no worries. Once at the Getty first enjoy the incredible views. Than visit the expositions. Worth a day’s visit.

This museum is truly an incredible place to visit. Honestly some of the exhibits were closed for maintenance or something but the architecture and views are really what is worth your time. Wandering around the gardens is fantastic and the tram to the museum from parking is really lovely. Definitely worth it. But also reserve your entry time. Tickets are free but you need to reserve entry time and have proof of vaccination.

Fun little tram ride up to the entrance of the Museum. It was very interesting seeing all the historical art inside, and the staff were very friendly. The outdoor areas were beautiful and had fantastic views into Los Angeles. All of this for the fantastic price of $0. Would highly recommend, even for those who just want to go for the views.

Not only is this fantastic and art-rich museum free, it is also one of the best places to visit in Los Angeles! Many different types of art including sculptures and paintings by some of the best painters in the whole world! Had a fantastic time here, and totally worth a visit if you are in LA. This museum is FREE. Parking depends on how long you're in the museum but the max is $20. The tram takes you up to the museum from the parking structure is free and less than 5 minutes. This museum is HUGE. I'd recommend to wear comfortable, shoes, a hat, a water bottle, and some snacks to save money. All the artworks are indoors but you do have to go outside to get to other buildings for more artworks. And, should definitely check out the garden. The artworks are separated by different areas and time periods. They provide umbrella for shade or for the rain which I found interesting. Took around 4 hours with no tour guidance to walk around and (hopefully) see everything. I want to add that you can bring big backpacks, but just have them in front of you to prevent any accidents.

For the price of parking your car ($20) you get to see some truly stunning and incredibly valuable art. And if you arrive by bus I guess it's free! Well organized tram up the hill. Galleries were not too crowded. Great views over LA on clear days.

It was great to see the space shuttle up close. Free after 3pm. Very educational displays. Love the variety of the exhibits The journey of the shuttle from the airport to the museum is amazing to see. Great movie and there is a virtual ride that last 7 minutes for a fee. There are 3 levels grab a map a start your adventure!!!

Neat facility that has plenty to offer to adults and kids! Admission is free but I’d recommend finding a nearby neighborhood street and park there. I can’t justify paying $15 for parking to go to a free museum. Overall, the facility offered unique displays, artifacts, and various zones/sections. Whether you’re an avid space enthusiast, biologist, or nature lover, there’s no shortage of things to see and do that will keep you here for hours!

Very interesting museum with free admission. Unfortunately, some items need maintenance but it is absolutely worth it. Being able to see the space shuttle Endeavor live is a truly fascinating experience.

I recommend to visit. Just remember about masks, and book online your visit, because it's limited! I thought it just usual Science Center for kinds, you know, like most of them in general. But when came there, I change my mind. For me I open many interesting and useful things. I learned how does work some things that surround us! You can see there history about aerospace , aquarium tunnel and some aquarium that you can seat and watch the fish. Also thanks about fire safety. And the most exciting thing for me was "Endeavour". I just barely heard about it, but didn't pay attention. And there in center, you'll be able to learn more about this space shuttle that was Unbelievable 25 times!!! Also you can see all history of missions, crews and useful things that they did. Just imagine this shuttle was in space in total 299 days, traveled around Earth orbit 4,671 times. Traveled in total almost 123 thousand miles!!!

A great place to take your children young or old for a memorable weekend getaway. There are 3 levels of fun and excitement that takes about 3 to 5 hours of detailed browsing and playing. The space shuttle Endeavor is my favorite exhibit. I get goosebumps every time I go visit it. It is the symbol of the pinnacle of human ingenuity and endeavors. The whole place is free to visit and the Rose Garden outside is very photogenic.

Went for a field trip, there's so much to see and the store isn't actually that expensive! (Some of these pictures are from by a museum right behind, and I'm not sure if they are apart of the same thing. If your able to check them both out, you'll be happy 😁👍

Had a wonderful time! The Mayan exhibit was phenomenal and breathtaking. Very informative and interactive. It's unfortunate that that was about the only thing we had time to see, because we got there so late and the place closes at 5 🤷‍♀️ Nonetheless, it was a great place to visit.

My kids had a lot of fun here. We enjoyed all the exhibits and the featured Maya exhibit. The space shuttle endeavor is always cool to see. If you are look for a cheap thing to do with your kids this is a good option.

I never get bored with this place. The entrance is free, they charge only for the special exhibit, IMAX shows and parking . The highlight of this place is the space shuttle, Endeavour. The cafeteria food is pretty good. Perfect place for the families and people of all ages. It is surrounded by other museums like California African American Museum , Natural History Museum, Coliseum, expo center, stadium and last but not the least the beautiful Rose garden.

The big attraction here is the shuttle, for obvious reasons. It is truly amazing to see it so close and have a sense of its massive dimensions. The rest of the museum is fine, but nothing spectacular. Still, it is worth visiting if your group has some young kids and you can expect to spend about 90 minutes visiting the museum (maybe some additional 30 minutes if you decide to stop by every exhibit). Parking is easily available in front of the museum.

Absolutely must to go place with young kids. A lot to learn and witness historic endeavour space shuttle - stationed here after retirement. You can visit all type of actually used space capsule with the astronauts details. Very cool. Aquatic section is also fun and don’t miss flash flood demonstrations.

A great place for kids and those interested in science! All of the exhibits are interesting and many are interactive! And being able to see a space shuttle and an aquarium in one trip is something you can’t do anywhere else! Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area that has any interest in science!

Visited for a hockey game and the stadium is huge with great parking options. Lots of food and drinks on all levels. Lot of people there but we never felt crowded. Great light show. Good view even from the top corner of the arena. Good music and signage. Overall a great experience.

This has always been a very well maintained facility. There's plenty of knowledgeable ushers to guide you around the huge building. Good and drink selection is pretty decent for a sports arena. It always fun being at " Staples Center /Crypto.com arena "

I'm always going to call this place Staples Center or Kobe's place! The arena is nice, the workers are nice, the bathrooms were clean and I had a great time at the Sparks game. It was my first WNBA game and it was so much fun. Those players deserve more support from their cities.

Iconic venue in the middle of downtown that plays host to a wide array of sports, concerts, and other events. Parking may be tough, but once inside, everything is clean and modern and there are tons of food choices (the prices, especially for alcohol, are quite inflated though). Even the cheap seats have a good view, although they're a little higher up than normal thanks to all the boxes.

Came for Hockey! LA Kings vs. The Maple Leafs. Ate food at Salt and Char (their fries were perfectly crispy and good but burger was eh). For such a frequently visited arena, I would think they would provide better food. Even the Dodger’s stadium has good food! My husband and I found parking nearby and it was for $30. Didn’t have to walk far at all. They do have plenty of restrooms so that was good cause them lines get LOOOONG!! Inside, seating is kinda scary at the top (I feel I could easily topple over) but it’s pretty nice and when the bass is used, you can feel it to the point where it vibrates throughout your whole body and could make breathing feel different. I’m sure the suites and closer seating is nice. Hopefully, one day can afford to experience that!

My first time there at the Crypt and it was very nice! Went to a Kings game. Kings lost to San Jose. Since it was a Kings game it wasn't packed so getting drinks wasn't too long. Bathrooms are a different issue. Long lines even though the arena was half empty. Go early if you can to beat the lines.

A historical place, feels surreal inside. The rafters, the retired jerseys and everything else you see on TV, just come to life. The arena feels much bigger compared to other ones I have been to. The arena does a good job of keeping the crowd energetic. Lots stars can be spotter during the game. The merchandise store has long lines before the game, but they vwr fast. The store lacks in inventory of different sizes of different product. There are lots of dining options, but they are all unrealistically expensive. You will easily spend $50 eating a hot dog and drinking a beer. Overall the arena feels very safe and secure. Has lots of exits, so getting out after the game is convenient.

I came here for the Celtics & Lakers game on 7 December. I had a great experience visiting. The arena is very logically laid out and the food was tasty (albeit pricey). Check in was very efficient and the staff were very kind. Even in the cheap seats I had, it was still a good view. The huge screens help and add to it as well. I even won a jersey! Definitely keeping this one in mind if I come back for another game soon. Thank you!

I have not been here since about 2013 and I must say it was still an amazing experience. Plenty of concession stands everywhere, restrooms available in short distances. For it being LA the food prices is not too bad, same with the beverages. I was fortunate enough to sean in section 101 row 1, fantastic view of the Lakers game. Staff was very friendly and always available to help with any questions you may have. It was a full house and the energy was great, I will definitely make plans to come back. I might also do a different event all together.

It was clean in the public area, our seating in 300s was not, the entrance for American express holders was perfect to get in easily and parking was free if you go early enough. The down was that the food kiosks weren't open when we went in and Section 300s are way too high up. They were kind to let us go out front to smoke, but having to have the original tickets to get back in was a pain, my husband had to come get me from the 300s. Maybe they need to find a balcony for the smokers there weren't many or stamp their hands with a different stamp every night.

As I am born in the 90s, this will still be Kobe's Staples for me. Just so nice to walk around on a good day and watch the game live. Great times for LA this season.

The staff here was really nice and the manager was very attentive during our visit. He came and asked us how we were doing twice and our waiter was very nice as well. Food was good and there was also a music show going on which was nice to see while eating. We are from L.A. and would not hesitate to bring someone from out of town here for a quick bite.

We arrived at 2PM on a weekday (which is late for US) and were told that waiting would be 1h despite a few customers inside. I went online, booked a table and was seated 10min after. The original and cheese burgers were really good with that grilled taste. The fries were also delicious. Prefer a souvenir glass from the cocktail menu that the souvenir shop. Brent was very pleasant and helpful. He even talked a little French. The video clips playing are a bit outdated.

Went in for an early dinner. There was a 30 min wait, so we chose self seating at the bar. We sat down and it was almost 10 min before anyone said hello or brought us a menu. We almost walked out. The service didn’t really get any better than that throughout our visit. Ambiance was great! There were a lot of interesting things to see. A musician came and did a sound check for a performance that ended up being after we left. She was talented and I am sure it was a great experience for those that were there. No doubt they have top notch entertainment. I ordered the southwest bowl, my fiancé ordered the baby back ribs (sorry I didn’t get a picture). The food was excellent. Well cooked, well seasoned. We were impressed. Overall, the food and entertainment were 5 stars, but I would give one star for service. There is a lot of improvement to do in that area.

We stopped by and had a 20 minute wait time. Left our cell phone number and walked next door to take pictures of the famous theater and movie stars hand and foot prints. The Rock star collection of guitars and memorabilia is great inside the restaurant! I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I will stop by again when in the area.

Our sever Melissa the manager was absolutely a doll. She was so happy to check on us and make sure we were happy. We were not impressed with the food at all. We ordered the nachos and a onion ring tower. The onion rings we left after eating just one and we didn't eat all the nachos bc the chips were not fresh at all. We loved the strawberry basil lemonade and got second refills. I would for sure give it another try on another day but this food experience was just not a great one thankfully we were not super hungry

We loved our time at Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood! 😍👍 This restaurant I’m always guarantees: great food (International and American Cuisine), music, in some cases live entertainment and the opportunity to have fun while exploring the place and discovering fund and interesting facts, clothes, instruments, and different items donated for some of the World Famous Artist and performers. The architectural design and boutique museum like style are super cool. 100% recommended 👍

I believe Hard Rock Cafe is on the decline. Service here was so slow and disorganized. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated and had to wait at least another 15 minutes to be greeted by our waiter. Our waiter was overwhelmed, I just do not understand how the management team did not come over to support him. While our waiter was literally running around to keep up, there were other employees paired up walking around, greeting select tables, and just carrying on random conversations. I asked our waiter before we ordered if time would be an issue, and he assured me no. Well, my cocktail, a hurricane, came from the bar in a cracked glass. My waiter offered a free dessert, but I declined. So a party came in behind us, and their food came out before ours. So i was even more frustrated with my overall experience here. The food was hearty, to temp, and fresh. Hence, my 2 stars are for the food. The price was reasonable for quality. The host and our waiter were super friendly, but I am no longer a fan of Hard Rock Cafe. There's rock music memobilia hanging on the walls. There's tvs all around the dining room playing loud rock videos from all the decades.

You’re definitely paying for the location, name and experience! The food is good enough but definitely more expensive than it needs to be. Our group got: Oysters Spicy corn chowder Calamari Beets and cheese Cajun shrimp pizza Fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn. The calamari, fried chicken meal and oysters were great. The pizza was good but nothing special and the beets and chowder went unfinished with everyone agreeing they wouldn’t get again. The ambience is cute, kinda cramped when busy. The service was amazing, they were constantly on top of things and really efficient. We were able to find nearby metered street parking without issues. There were security guards patrolling the area.

This place deserves more than a 5 star rating. The interior smells like fresh flowers and there’s a bouquet on each table. The crab cakes were a great appetizer. Unfortunately, we couldn’t try anything else as my girlfriend became violently ill. Before she became physically ill, a server brought cookies in an attempt to settle her stomach and relieve a headache. I’ve never had service like that at a restaurant. Because the bathrooms were occupied, a mess was made on the floor near our table. The waiters quickly cleaned it and helped us to an Uber. We will be back on another trip to taste the delicious smelling foods and pretty drinks.

Loved it here so much! We sat outside, it is so cute with fresh roses everywhere, potted plants and Christmas lights. We loved our starter - crab cakes and entrees - shrimp scampi and a burger. They surprised us with a birthday treat for my niece! Service was prompt and helpful! I'll be back!

Great service and wonderful ambiance. The staff are really cheerful and a pleasure to be around. They were quick and attentive and very helpful. Great place to meet with folks. We were there for brunch and we mostly went for the crab and lobster options. The food was just okay and the options are on the higher side. We were expecting a bit more from the eggs Benedict, and the lobster scramble. They are more known for other dishes and we'll try them next time around. Still worth a visit overall

Iconic restaurant! We had reservations for a birthday and sat inside amdist the bouquet of colorful roses. Service was top notch and very attentive and really made us feel cared for. The cocktails are fabulous and well-made! Their Gimlet was refreshing and minty, which hits the spot during summer. I got the Seafood Risotto and really enjoyed it! Rustic Cali vibes with a food assortment of seafood. Would definitely come back. Also, love the holiday lights outdoors! Whimsical and endearing!

For the price point, I was a bit disappointed with the food. It was good, but not$50 salad good. Nothing was incredibly special. The servers were very attentive and nice. I listed that it was my mom's birthday in the reservation, and the hostess even flagged for me that they saw that on her own, which gave me expectations... But then nothing happened. No one even said happy birthday to my mom. So that was a bit if a let down after having expectations set.

The place is lovely, with a unique floral design and branded dishes and vases that make you happy and enjoy your visit. We had Fish and Chips and seafood spaghetti and both came with really high quality and great taste. Maybe it's not happening every day, but most waiters were sullen and not welcoming on our visit. After about 50 minutes, every 4-5 minutes a waiter came and asked if he could take away our still not-empty dishes, and even when my wife and I were talking and not aware, they took away our 3 years old half full fries dish from the front of her without asking! This service didn't match a place with this almost expensive menu and relaxing ambiance.

The ivy is good every single time. You might have to wait a little past your reservation time but it's always worth the wait. The decor is so nice. It's what I expect a bridal shower to look like. Fresh vibrant flowers all the time, I love it here. The food is consistently good. I always get the lobster pasta with an extra side of sauce. I think the extra sauce really takes it to the next level. The chicken enchiladas are fire & very authentic. I don't drink alcohol but the passion fruit mocktail mojito is so top tier. & the scones, I literally dream of them.

Oh WOW is this place a treat!! I used to come here all the time but hadn’t been in awhile and I am so glad I dropped by. Everything I have ever ordered here has been delicious. Hands down the best matzah soup I’ve ever had. I don’t even need to be “sick“ to eat it. It’s always my go to! Was greeted by a wonderful waitress named Sharleen and had unlimited pickles. I no joke probably are 5 of them. The bagel chips and rye bread with the soup was always a wonderful bonus. They usually tend to get very busy, so I would not come here if I was in a rush, but if you have time to spare, it’s definitely worth dropping by.

Tried out this deli while on vacation in LA based on the pictures I saw online and was not disappointed at all. This has to be one of the best deli's ever,as good as NY delis. Everything they do here they do perfectly, From crafting the sandwiches exactly as they should be made, To the friendly Quick service, It was busy during lunch time, Yet I got my order in less than 10 minutes. I had the hot pastrami dip and it was delicious, Perfectly made with nice soft bread and juicy meat. All the food looks great here, And everything's very high quality. You can't go wrong coming here. It may be a ways away from where you're staying but it is well well worth it!

This place is LEGIT. Some of the best Pastrami, potato salad!, fries, lox, Cole slaw, rye bread, and homemade everything bagel we’ve ever had. And that was on our first time. Nothing to envy to Canter’s, Langer’s, or even New York’s Katz’s. Very impressed. Brent’s #13 was amazing

Came here for the first time with a group of friends after a funeral of a loved one. We were sat on time as our reservation time. The place was packed with customers! It didn't look that big from. The outside but it was actually a large establishment. I ordered this Philly steak sandwich with steak cut fries & coleslaw on the side. For $19.00 it was a huge portion and they gave a big stack of meat! Only reason for 4 stars was because of lack of seasoning on the beef & the fries were cold The waiter & waitress were professional & made everything run smoothly. My friends ordered many other things on the menu such as pastrami sandwich, matzo ball soup, split pea soup, barley mushrooms soup etc.. they were all happy with the food. Recommended for others to try this place out.

Before we left Sodom, we had to stop at the last place for our soul. This place is great! Service and Food. God bless the people that work here and own it. We really did enjoy it here, took the carrot from chernobyl home and we still couldn't finish it. If you haven't been, just go. There is nothing I can say that hasn't already been said. Both times were great. The proof is in the pictures.

Always great food! I was happy we missed the lunch rush, so there was no wait time. The service was a little slower than usual, but it was at shift change so that’s to be expected. You don’t come here to save money, but their food has always been well worth the price.

Great food as always. We usually have their food as catering during the holidays and it is fantastic. Being able to go into the restaurant for a meal with family is great too. It is a pretty fast paced restaurant though.

Wonderful views, 10/10 decor and great food! This cafe has arguably the best location of any restaurant in LA. You probably will have to wait 2 hours+ but it is worth it. Make sure to get the pancakes because the portions are huge. The staff are lovely too. I strongly recommend this place for brunch!

I had an amazing breakfast experience at The Griddle Cafe. From the moment I walked in, the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The menu is extensive, and it was hard to choose from all the delicious options. I ultimately decided on the Caramel Pecan French Toast, and it did not disappoint. The dish was beautifully presented and smelled heavenly. The French toast was perfectly cooked, and the caramel pecan sauce was rich, buttery, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The portion size was generous, and I left feeling satisfied and content. The coffee was also exceptional, and the service was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. The Griddle Cafe's unique and creative approach to breakfast truly sets them apart from other breakfast spots. The menu is diverse, with many exciting and unexpected dishes that are sure to please any palate. Overall, I highly recommend The Griddle Cafe for anyone looking for a delicious and memorable breakfast experience. Great pancakes! They are huge. Large servings and good breakfast. The do their mimosa at $25 carafe. I wish they just sent the bottle of champagne along with different glasses of juices. I'm still trying to get that Granite City vine for mimosas. You will enjoy the view and food.

The weight is pretty decent. It’s not short but it’s not really really long. So many selections of pancakes. The wait to be seated was not long opening Sunday. I don’t know how much you guys can eat, but make sure you come with two or three people to finish those pancakes.

This place has some super good breakfast/brunch. The pancakes are so big they barely fit on the plate. You can easily split an order of pancakes between 2 people. Highly recommend if you’re in the LA area and if you’re a tourist. Heads up tho: they have fans and air going pretty high to the point it’s cold in there. Recommend bring a hoody or something. Also get there early because it can get busy quick and it’s first come first serve.

Our server was friendly and attentive. The food came out in a reasonable time. The food portions are BIG! Be prepared to have leftovers. The food tasted delicious. I recommend items with potatoes and the pancakes. This is a small building and it was very loud (we visited during rush hour on a Saturday), so it is kind of hard to hear people. The delicious food and great service makes up for it though!

Went here twice in one weekend while visiting Hollywood and universal studios. The only thing better than the patio view was the food! You need to either pay the $10 to valet your car, or hike up the hill if you can find somewhere to park at the bottom.I would recommend the tequila sunrise breakfast. So good I had it both times! If you go on the weekend expect to wait an hour unless you show up very early. While waiting you can sit at any of the tables from yashimuro sushi (it's in the same location). The garden is fun to check out, and there is a walk up bar near the garden. Don't forget to say hi to Buddha and put a coin on his belly!

The food here was both very filling and extremely tasty for the price. It's the best brunch/breakfast place here in Los Angeles. After many disappointments during my time here, this was definitely an exception. My friend and I were not even able to finish half of the pancakes or the French toast. Even though in the picture below each of us had an egg dish neither of us were able to finish half of that either. The waiter went above and beyond to serve us, especially considering it was our first time there. If you are ever in LA, you should come here for brunch; it is the best, hands down. Even though it's not their specialty, the omelette and egg options were also very filling. It's not that pricey compared to a lot of other places in LA in terms of quality and quantity. You will not be disappointed!

Visiting from out of town and thought we’d give this place a try. The wait was LONG!!! So we figured it must be that good. Waited for over an hour and finally sat down. Even though the place was packed it was FREEZING!!! , I mean cold air blowing in my face, also my daughter was wearing a jacket and she was still cold to where it makes you uncomfortable. The coffee was not hot at all, and I ask if we can move and we did but was still super cold. I ordered the tequila sunrise and it was not good. The sauce taste like enchilada sauce from the can and then had a big chuck of cheese that was overwhelming. My daughter ordered the sunset people and ate a few bites that’s it. We also shared the 1 black magic pancake which was so huge it didn’t fit the plate, we definitely could have just ordered that and would have been enough. Also since it super cold the food is warm when it comes out and by the time you start to eat it’s cold. Definitely not worth the hype, wait, and the price.

Some of the best bang for your buck pancakes around. These things are the size of vinyl records stacked 6" tall. We ate about a half of one pancake and took the rest of them home. Order one stack to share between a party of 4. We got the mounds of plenty and the snow your oats. The mounds is trying to be like a mounds candy bar (chocolate and coconut) it didn't really match the candy bar, however it's a very tasty combination if you want something sweet. The sow your oats, which is oatmeal, honey and cinnamon. It was much simpler but when ever you hit the honey it was a bust of sweetness. The only downside was that they both were a little dry, you are definitely going to need a drink to go with these. Small note, if you are coming here don't waste your time with the french toast, it is good but not nearly as indulgent as the pancakes.

Musso & Frank Grill is a Hollywood institution. We dined there while visiting the area. The service was outstanding, our wait staff was very attentive and timed our dishes perfectly. It has an old school vibe, the decor is very classy. Know for their martinis, they serve them in a classic martini glass and they leave a carafe in ice with the remnants that didn’t fit in the glass. The menu is a classic mix of American steakhouse with an Italian flair. The salads are large, it could be easily shared between two if not three people. The food was excellent, the veal schnitzel was fork tender, the arugula, shaved parmigiana, and prosciutto topping was delicious. If you are in the Hollywood area, I would suggest that you make a reservation and prepare yourself for an excellent meal. Side note, the dress code says “Business Casual” we saw a wide variety in clothing, from suits to shorts.

Pretty good spot for classic white tablecloth steakhouse food. Seems like most of the dishes were cool back in the 50s. Not sure the glorified ants on a log were worth they hype or the price. The drinks were great, the steaks cooked at various temps (though we all god mid-rare), and the atmosphere is swanky. Given the price to value I left feeling I should have eaten somewhere else (like in a different part of town).

What more can be said about this Hollywood institution? Simply the best. Best service, food, vibes, drinks...it's a legendary eatery for ALL the right reasons. Run, don't walk, to a fine culinary experience with the best Hollywood history there is. A ++

Amazing food and even better service. There’s a reason this place has been around for 102 years. For an appetizer, we had the shrimp cocktail. The cocktail sauce was delicious. Our waiter said there are 11 different ingredients in it. For our main courses, we had the scallops and the prime rib and both were amazing. We will definitely come back for special occasions.

This is the true " Old Hollywood " experience. From walking in the door, to the personal greeting when checking in, to the impeccable service, it's very obvious why this place is through after all these years. Glorious old decor. Non pretentious dishes made to perfection. Wait staff in awesome red jackets. No wonder Hollywood doesn't just eat here, they fill here too ! A very memorable experience.

Delightful atmosphere and service! Okay food for vegetarians. A must visit for lovers of Old Hollywood given its history. Went for a birthday recently and really appreciated the sweetness of their team - a free dessert w/ candle; a birthday card from the M&F Grill team. We were a bit surprised the food we ordered was standard and not very seasoned beyond the garlic bread. Plan to visit again and try different vegetarian dishes in hopes they are more memorable.

Tonight was the first time my Husband and I went to Musso & Frank Grill with some friends of ours and I must say we were impressed with it all. The food was delicious. The Service was excellent and the atmosphere was nice. Food a bit pricey but worth it to some degree. However it is a place that my Husband and I plan on going back to eventually and we are so thankful to our friends for introducing us to a great place to eat. We made reservations to come on Thursday for chicken pot pie. We arrived early & were seated right away. We were served 1/2 loaf sourdough bread & butter. We shared appetizer that was delicious!! My wife had martini and I had a coke that we both enjoyed! We both ordered chicken pot pie. They were filled with shredded chicken & vegetables, including potatoes and best we’ve enjoyed!! We ended with apple cobbler with ice cream and latte. There was a face on top of latte that was cute. We’ve been wanting to come here on Thursday for several years and worth the wait.

We are still raving about our dinner last night at Musso and Franks! Brian our waiter was just great! The entire staff are welcoming and attentive, you feel more like family than a customer. The food, absolutely perfect and delicious, from the tomato and onion salad to the best scallops! Don't get me started on the desserts! 😁 Can't wait to go back.

Old Hollywood restaurant with classic dishes. Came here for Father's Day and made a reservation online in advance. Indoor seating only. They have a paid parking lot in the back or you can try your luck with street parking. Credit cards accepted. The ambiance was unique with the waiters in red jackets serving their sections. They provided complimentary bread but we got the garlic toast as well to try it, and it was nice and buttery. I had the original fettucine alfredo and added chicken for an additional $7. My dad tried lamb kidneys for the first time and really enjoyed it. The spaghetti was standard, and my sister thought her seafood risotto was solid. I would eat here more so for the experience than the actual food, but overall it was an interesting spot.

Fantastic old-school Hollywood steakhouse. The martinis are great & come with an extra sidecar on ice. The Musso & Frank special salad is delicious, with artichoke hearts & a light Russian dressing. Prime rib first rate. I had the lamb kidneys with bacon, which are lightly gamey & rich, with a delightful flavor. Highly recommended! Come for the atmosphere, stay for the food.
