You can approach the castle by foot, cable car, car or by little train :) We went by walk, it's not difficult to go to the top, it's nice and green and you can reach it in 10-15 minutes. Before enter the castle you can buy the ticket to the tower. Inside the castle you can drink a soft drink which was very nice on a warm day. The castle is clean and nicely renovated. We also saw 3 weddings on that day. The view from the tower was beautiful. The museum was interesting. We had a lot of fun and we definitely recommend it to anyone. Enjoy it!

This is a very nice castle with a nice observing tower, however, what makes it so special is the puppetry museum that you get access to when you buy entrance tickets. Very clean and well maintained. Great care for details and multiple benches to sit down, relax and enjoy the beautiful views of Ljubljana. A highly recommended visit and very friendly staff!

The Castle of Ljubljana sits on the central hill that is prominent in the old part of the city. It's important to know that the top of the hill, where the castle is, can be reached on foot, bicycle, and car from different pathways. The least energy consuming pathway is the Gondola lift, located to the north-east of the hill. The use of this lift is only possible by buying a full castle tour ticket. The Castle ticket is normally 10€ if you buy it up, and 13 if you want to catch the lift. An additional fee can be paid for an audio recorded guide. The devices communicate wirelessly with the exhibits so that you can just walk around and the recordings will change accordingly. The Castle is very well maintained but the whole experience remains on the commercials side of things. Not a good bargain for the cost, but nonetheless an iconic tourist destination. Perhaps a lot more interesting and enjoyable are the small streets around the hill of the Castle, with characteristic buildings and the central water canal. At the Castle itself the visit is divided into different exhibition sites, with the high tower being somewhat the highest attraction. The exhibition sites focus on historical events in the history of Slovenia, including the more recent independence from Yugoslavia. A short but steep walk down the hill will take you back to the old town.

I would definitely recommend a visit here. The view on sa sunny day is amazing. If possible go with the funicular, it is really cheap and the experience is worth it. If you want to visit the tower you have to buy a ticket, as well as for the exhibitions.

Absolutely one of the best places you have to check out while in Ljubljana. Took the funicular/elevator up but would recommend to climb. Loved the moss on the wall along the zigzag trail. The castle itself is more than just magnificent. The medieval architecture and craftsmanship along with the modern art display are simply breathtaking. At the top, you would have a panoramic view of the city as well as the Alps which is out of this world. Had my doubts about visiting in Dec but loved the mysterious foggy view. You should get the ticket with the museum access with 9 euro more but it's totally worth it. I was very fascinated by the puppet displays and have to say the characters and styles are quite creative and attention to details. Can't wait to check out other castles in the area.

Being located in the middle of the city, the castle is a very popular tourist attraction. It is therefore recommended to visit the castle as early as possible. Inside the castle multiple restaurants and several nice exhibitions can be found. Be aware that visiting the castle is free, but that all indoor exhibitions require a ticket. The castle and the surrounding paths give nice views over the city and it's worth to watch the sunset from the top of the hill! (Buying a Ljubljana Tourist Card gives free access to the castle, funicular, a lot of museums and the zoo in Ljubljana)

From the outside, the old castle is attractive, but from the inside it has been renovated too modern - not a cozy castle yard. The scenery is by far the best and you didn't need an entrance ticket.

Beautiful castle, very good past time. I recommend getting the audio guide it helps a lot to enjoy the exhibits. I loves the modern additions, concrete and steel walkways, theatre. There was a queue at the funicular but it goes relatively fast.

The Dragon Bridge, adorned with famous dragon statues, appears in the most recognizable images of Ljubljana. If you haven't been photographed next to a Dragon Bridge dragon, you can hardly claim that you have visited Ljubljana. The four dragon statues, which look slightly terrifying and almost real are a masterpiece which has been exciting imagination since the bridge was built.

This bridge, though undeniably beautiful, offers little beyond its visual charm. The constant flow of cars and bikes can be bothersome, leaving little room for leisurely enjoyment. I recommend exploring nearby pedestrian-only bridges for a more fulfilling experience.

Toured the city with a group from Alaska. Enjoyed everything about the city that we saw, the weather, the people, the vendors, etc. This is quite the bridge given the history, and of course the notable dragons.

The iconic bridge of Ljubljana, the dragon statues are really amazing. Unfortunately cars also can go through the bridge, it would be more gorgeous without cars. Legend of the bridge: "There is a legend that Jason was the founder of Ljubljana, and he and his Argonauts killed a dragon. This is one of the four dragon statues in the bridge."

It was our start and finish of our walk around Ljubljana city centre where we have found free parking on a Sunday. With the Tromostovje bridge, this is the one which stands out the most with the iconic dragons on each side! The dragon has a rich history inbuilt with the city from the origins coat of arms depicted as a monster to later protector of the city! Beautiful bridge and in a charming city!

Legend is that Jason and his Argonauts, after stealing the golden fleece, passed through the region what is Ljubljana today. There Jason encountered a dragon monster and slayed it. The dragon legendarily over the centuries transformed from a monster to the powerful protector of the city - now present on top of the coat of arms of Ljubljana.

The Dragon Bridge in Ljubljana is a reinforced concrete bridge that began to be built in 1888. At that time, however, it was still called the Jubilee Bridge of Emperor František Josef 1 and was built in the style of the Viennese Art Nouveau. It was not until the beginning of the twentieth century that the Dragon Bridge got its name from four dragons that guard every single corner of the bridge. Serves as the central square of old town Ljubljana, can be reached via the Triple Bridge from the two square, filled with amazing collection of stores, restaurants and national monuments and dotted with artworks. Very typical and representative of a European city with baroque buildings and cobblestone streets built along the stretch of the Ljubljanica River.

A beautiful place to be at. It's the city center so there are shops and restaurants all around, you can see the castle on the hilltop from here. I went on Christmas eve and it was just beautifully lit up.

The place to see and be seen in Ljubljana. Locals run into friends here while tourists congregate to observe the church, the bridges, the statue. There’s a lovely atmosphere, a place not to be missed. And right across the bridge on the left is a very helpful tourist information office with a great gift shop.

It is a really nice place. So many visitors always go that side. You will see some amusement there like singing songs, and playing music. The coffee shops, ice cream shops, some pizza shops and so many restaurants are around that place. The hostel, named H2O, I stayed for two days is also nearby. I really like looking around Ljubljana including Preseren Square.

Let coated in Ljubljana, the capital.of Slovenia. Beautiful architecture as shown in the photo. There is a river running through with three little bridges across it. Views right up into the mountains and hills. Plenty to see and lots of photo opportunities. Ljubljana is a tiny capital city so it's all compacted into a small space so easy to get around. Lovely and clean, English is spoken quite widely. No shortage of places to eat and drink. You have to pay to use public toilets so good idea to have some euro coins l.

City Square and from there on you have market, pubs, restaurants, shops everything with in the reach. It retains historic buildings and looks. It's a pearl of a city centre. It's worth visiting, sightseeing, and trying out local cuisine and beer/wine

It doesn't look like it, but it's a very, very large park. In the summer it is really beautiful because the vegetation is rich and there are many cute squirrels roaming the trees. Definitely the perfect place to walk, run, take a bike ride or spend a few hours in total relaxation! Absolutely recommended

Really lovely place. Paths through woodlands & through grass areas. Lots of beautiful buildings. Cafes, ice cream shops. Paid car park. Can walk straight into the city centre from here.

This is my cat's favourite place for exploration, but besides that, the whole park is just right. All trails are marked and clean and it is really hard to get lost, the outside gallery is surprisingly good every time (well done!), and the botanical side of Tivoli park is something that is underestimated, it is home to a huge number of species, especially the garden itself, I mean, BRAVO!

I've walked it 2 times all the way up. I'm planning to do it again. The view is very beautiful especially now that has also a little snow (better than the view from the castle). At the top there is a beautiful church and a very good cafeteria. I recommend seeing the sunset from there.

Wonderful park, the formal part of the park is lovely with everything for the family, several nice places for coffee or a drink. He walks into the forest area go on for miles, I walked about 5 miles and only covered about a quarter of it.

Parco Tivoli is a fantastic green area in the city center. There are benches and cafes where you can stop by. And a lot of fields for playing soccer, tennis, basketball.

The park was really nice, we had a great walk there. It is clean and calm. We found a playground, which was a watery paradise for the kids in regard to the hot weather. We ate delicious vegan icecream at the park.

I am not sure I would pay for this on its own, butvas part of the city card, it was a great little stop. Fun and quirky, and with some neat stuff. A nice cool break on a hot or busy day.

I have been to several museums of this kind and I would say this one is more educational than just taking photos (e.g. in South Korea). It's good to come here by Ljubljana city card (included) and spend some time. Staff are friendly. They have some control on the number of visitors so you might need to wait a little bit if there are already too many people inside. Overall I would love to see more exhibitions and corners for some fun pictures.

Go through the illusion tunnel, look up, to experience then enjoy! So many great illusions. We went to give our kids something to allow their senses to become tricked, but found ourselves acting like kids again and enjoying every moment.

We had an excellent time here. There are a lot of illusions and mindblowing exhibits, resulting in fun activities for the entire family. We spent 34 euros for a family ticket and it took us around 1 hour to get through all the rooms.

A little to expensive for what they offer. Nothing wow. If you visit for the first time an illusion expozition maybe it's interesting. But 13 euro by person for 2 floors with rooms with some illusions who can be seen only if someone make a picture for you and rooms with different products by paper or pictures with different perspectives it's a little to much. So, if you want to go, don't goes alone.

It was not the first time I visited the house of Illusions with my kids. The weather was unpredictable today, and we chose indoor activities with my son and hiš friends. It looks like we were not the only ones who made this decision. We didn't wait to enter, but later, we saw people who did. The museum looked quite popular and was a bit too full. The museum is small and It takes just about half an hour to go through all the rooms. It is better if children are guided by parents to better understand what to do, otherwise, they just run around, at least, mine. Nice place to visit with children 4-9 y.o. However, it is not a place where you want to come regularly.

Had an outstanding time here. Lots of laughs due to the interactive displays. This place makes you feel like a child again. Pricing is a bit steep at 10 euros as you only spend about 1 to 1,5 hours to see the entire exhibition. But the hour is well spend and I felt mentally refreshed afterwards.

Really good quality of food and service. I tried the scallop appetizer, the fried calamari and the veal fillet with delicious truffle-mashed potatoes, followed by an amazing chocolate cake dessert. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. The service was prompt and the waiter was very nice and helpful. Highly recommended.

Loved this restaurant!! It was one of the highlights from our visit to the city. Cute.little farmhouse feel. Very warm and inviting. The service was excellent. The food was amazing!! If you’re looking for Slovenian fancy food, you’ve found your place. The restaurant itself is very nice and pretty, with a vintage feel. But what wins this place is the food!! The portions are fair for one person and the taste is very authentic. Both the steak and the fish were perfectly prepared, the meat was tender and nice… A pleasure! We also had desserts but they were gone too fast to even take a picture. I had the lava cake (yeah, not very Slovenian) and it was AMAZING!

Great restaurant, choice and service. The venue was packed after 1pm. Had great Gnocchi but now I am super stuffed. Tomato soup was nice as well but served in the table literally 1 minute after the order. A bit too quick for me. Anyways. Nice restaurant. What a lovely place for dinner, beautiful inside and probably even better outside once the weather is warmer! Recommended by our hotel and very high up on trip advisor...our waiter Sandi was well up with some of the best waiters we've ever interacted with. Worth booking in advance, we were asked if we would be willing to move to allow a larger group to be accommodated, of course free dessert and a round of drinks on the house 👍😁 only thing that let them down was my wife's octopus was indistinguishable from the herbs covering it and as delicious as my confit duck was, the bottom was black and overcooked. My family loves this place and we go there every time we visit Ljubljana. The food is as always delicious, however the portions became smaller. Dish with a veal used to be much bigger with a big portion of asparagus on the side. Now it’s “asparagus decoration”. Still a great place option in Ljubljana center, just think quality went down due to popularity. If you want to be seated outside, recommend making a reservation!

A decent place for Slovenian food. This was our first lunch in Ljubljana and we got a selection of the lunch specials (veal and lamb). Everything was good but nothing to write home about. Both meats were a bit over cooked and needed a bit of salt and pepper to help the flavor along. Overall a bit confused by the very high rating as we felt it was a little touristy / overpriced. But it’s a fine spot if you find yourself in the area.

Loved Julija so much we went twice! Great food and atmosphere both outside and in. Turn up early if you don’t have a reservation as it’s a busy place. The female server on our first night was incredible - gave recommendations of traditional Slovenian dishes and wine, and gave us free bread with pumpkin oil. The cheese dumplings were delicious and the apple strudel. Highly recommend!

We stopped by restaurant for lunch, it is a nice and elegant place. We found the welcoming nice but not special, for example we managed to find a seat quickly and sat comfortably. However we were not served any bread or butter for a welcome. The waiter was kind and be knew the menu, which is great to ask him about some of the items on the menu. We found the food to be very delicious and made from good quality ingredients. I think this restaurant was a safe choice without spending too much on a lunch meal.

Exceptional service and great atmosphere! We wanted to try something truly local instead of going to a McSomething. The wait was worth it (there was a line of people waiting for a table opening). Food was excellent, beer was probably the best one I've ever had, but the service takes the cake. Our waiter, even though he was exhausted, had a great sense of humor and only made our evening better. Definitely recommend to visit!

I believe I've found my favorite restaurant in Ljubljana! Service is awesome, food is fantastic, portions are big, house beer is very good and overall atmosphere is great. Only downside is - prices are bit on the heavy side (two beers, a portion of goulash and a portion of pasta came up to 45 euros), but I don't mind considering all of the beforementioned - it's worth the money! Will be returning to this place for sure!

Nice traditional food. I've had a mushroom soup served in a bread. It looks good, but taste was not amazing. On the other hand the gnocchi were very tasty and are recommended to try. White wine was also nice and tasty and went well with gnocchi. Interior is authentic and should take a tour to check how it all looked like a while ago.

We ordered one Mushroom soup in a bread cup and one Ljubljana steak. The service was prompt when seating us, but it took a while for them to bring the menu. Additionally, after bringing the menu, the server rushed us to place our order, which felt a bit pushy. When we wanted to pay, it also took some time for the server to bring the credit card reader. (3/5) The food was okay and average. The mushroom soup in the bread cup was just a regular mushroom soup, and serving it in bread didn't add any extra flavor. It was merely a change in presentation. Towards the end, the bread became overly salty. (3/5) The Ljubljana steak tasted like a typical Calzone, and I'm not sure why it's called a Ljubljana steak. The fancy name didn't add any special value to the dish itself. I could buy 4 similar steaks for €3.99 in total at any Aldi in Germany. (1/5) The overall pricing is higher than in non-touristy areas and doesn't match the quality of the food. The ambiance is truly enjoyable, as the atmosphere and decorations create a nice local feeling, which is a positive aspect. (4/5) In general, I can only recommend this restaurant if you specifically want to dine in a touristy area. Otherwise, there are plenty of other restaurants with better value for your money. A typical Slovenian food restaurant in the heart of the city of Ljubljana. The food is quite normal, it's nothing special. Some of the waiters are not very friendly, but the place is quite cozy. The value for money is not too good. One more option within the gastronomic offer of the city, without more.

Went for a stroll in Ljubljana and we thought maybe this place was a bit touristy but the food was amazing,the home brewed beer was exceptional and the people who worked there were extremely nice and helpful. Slovenian dishes recommended paired with the delicious home brewed unfiltered barley beer!

Recommended by the walking tour guide and our apartment host. The servings were huge. Enjoyed the warm beef goulash with tender chucks of beef on a rainy day and the casserole was densely packed with vegetables, carrots and mushrooms. Service was also good and friendly.

Touristy? Of course, since the Restaurant Sokol is smack in the center of Ljubljana's prime tourist area. What makes it different is the attentive, friendly and competent staff and the good quality food. Authentic Slovenian cuisine is of course more on the tasty, strong flavor side and, yes, more fat than a diet guru might approve of. But the taste is great, the flavors rich and when you finish with a traditional dessert and a digestif from the region... Dishes are regional but also salads (roasted goat cheese with crushed hazelnuts and pears on salad with honey as vinaigrette was delicious) are on the menue. As desserts we had Hazelnut strudel with honey sauce and Topfenstrudel with a sauce made from Teran (a local autochtone grape) - definitely recommend. Drinks range from local beers, Slovenian wine (the local Teran grape makes a very tasty and dark red wine) and drinks - the squirrel drink was great. And the rustic interior fits the foods - why not an evening with friendly staff and like-minded guests in a Slovenian restaurant. Some little vacation within your vacation. Very nice burger place. Also a great selection of (craft) beers. Burgers are consistent and cooked to perfection. No way to make a reservation unless a party > 10. Location and staff are also great, English speaking staff had humor and take their time. Would recommend this place to everyone!

Came here yesterday and it was HORRIBLE !! First I came in here and asked to be seated the waiter looked me and said that he will be here in a sec to get us seated although there was a plenty of seats available , after waiting standing for a good 15 min or so I asked him if I could get seated myself on a table that was just cleared by another guy he looked at me and told me to check in with his other colleagues to get seated the other was great and had us situated Now I will go in detail regarding the food -the Asian wok wings These were great ! Very well done and cooked perfectly and the sauce was amazing - chicken burger I didn’t like this it lacked seasoning the breast it self could fit 2 burgers making it hard to eat -classic burger This was really good and juicy I liked it so was the cheese burger

We sat next to the riverside! GREAT burger!!! So delicious (very juicy)! I had ‘The Boss’ burger and it was medium-rare. I loved it! The mojito is also amazing! Very friendly and humorous staff! I would definitely come back if there are chances in the future!

Restaurant in the very heart of Ljubljana. BBQ Spare Ribs were so delicious. You must try it! We also tried Pop's House Lager beer, it was good. Excellent service, kind and interesting staff.

Really good place for Burgers. Location is great, in the town center, along the river Ljubljanica. Burgers are good, tasty, the patties are really well made and perfectly cooked, you can choose if you want middle or full baked, and sauces are also so good. The beers are great too, I tried their own beer and it is 'like a water' which means excellent. We were seating outside, garden is really good and cozy. Definitely recommend

Very good burgers and great great French fries. Great service that also ordered for us the taxi. Quick service nice local wines and very nice tender beef in the burgers. Even when evening was chilled the heaters kept as very warm outside. Before 9pm you need to order food as well it’s not only for drinks. Everything went very nice I would say for this quality that was for sure also very good quality.

Amazing place. Super clean and super comfy! The atmosphere is amazing especially if you visit during summer or autumn! The staff extremely helpful and polite! And the burgers to die for! Definitely try the one with the Slovenian bacon! And the sweet potato fries were delicious! We actually ordered a second portion of them! The best we have eaten even from the ones we eat in USA! A really nice Burger Restaurant. We had the pleasure to sit outside this day cause the weather was perfect. Our Burger was really good and I remember that they have tons of good beers on the menu. Very good burgers, one of the best in Slovenia. Also chicken wings were great. House beer was OK. Prices are very expensive, burger was 12,9€ and beer 4,9€. These are 30% higher rates then usual Slovenian burger places, but I suppose they can keep it due to location in city center. Stuff is very friendly and vibe is good. My opinion is that I will definitely come back if I will want a good burger in city center, even if prices are high, so I will give it a 5.

The place is nice. I order a Caesar’s salad and for me was enough, it was a big and nice salad. My hubby asked for a burger and he says that the meet was really nice and sauce as well but he says the bun was dry. The rest ok. Nice beer and potatoes. And of course, really nice view! We sat outside and the day was wonderful so we really enjoyed it. The attention was kind and fast.

Excellent burgers, even better bbq ribs. I had the ribs now a couple of times, tender, tasty and falling off the bone. Both me and my fiancee also really enjoyed the home made iced teas. Waiters were polite and very respectful

I'm gluten free and I felt comfortable eating here. The lady that I spoke with was a great help with answering my questions. She was welcoming and friendly. They carry gluten free hamburger buns. My burger was huge, delicious, and the fries were yummy. I had ice cream for dessert and it was also tasty. My family enjoyed their meal and dessert. We had 2 large groups of people (about 50 total) eat at the restaurant and the food came out quickly and everyone was happy and satisfied. Well done! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed a great lunch here! The restaurant was very cozy. You order the food via the menu with a pencil, so that there can be no miscommunications. We loved how they included handicapped people, and let them feel part of running the restaurant. The food was traditional and tasted very well. Affordable too!

The place is very cozy. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Like other reviews already explained, the menu is different every day, and you have to mark what you want with a pen. The food is super inexpensive but delicious. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

The service was great and I love the mission of the restaurant. The vegetarian plate for two is overpriced by 10 to 15 Euros can we expected more vegetables to be on the plate. The sausage and potato was literally just a few pieces of sausage chopped up mixed in with some fried potatoes. The fried chicken must have been good because my teenager ate up the whole thing. That seems to be common in the other restaurants who eaten at, the servers consistently forget to bring out glasses of water when we ask.

Sliced Carniolan sausage with mashed potatoes (see pic for Slovenian translations) was EXCELLENT. Expected whole instead of sliced-up sausages, but sausage-slices-in-mashed-potatoes gave a superb mix of texture, sometimes chewy and sometimes smooth. Taste was great. Also supports a good cause by hiring people with special needs - note this did not affect service at all, it was perfect. Also enjoyed nice outdoor terrace seating, with a fountain nearby and watching people walk along a scenic main street. I look forward to visiting again!!!

I had a lunch here today. I ordered one of the standard lunch options - beef soup, bean and sausage stew and a desert - Slovenian cheesecake. Everything was fresh and tasty. The stew was delicious - flavorful and spicy- just right. The cake was very good - not overly sweet and flavorful. The staff was very good - friendly and attentive. The house white was excellent. I will definitely return - wanna try the a la cart menu.

This restaurant is a gem in Ljubljana. Of you're looking for delicious Slovenian food at a low cost, this is the place for you! I came to eat here twice because it was perfect and offered a nice variety of the local gastronomy.

Wanted to sit outside but there was no space so we went inside (we were the only ones inside). The waiter was friendly and patient and served us pretty fast. The serving was more than enough for all us. Totally worth it.

Amazing! We ordered the sausage and goulash. They both blew us away, the goulash was especially good as the soup was thick and rich and the meat was incredibly soft and tender. Service was great and atmosphere was cute and aesthetically pleasing. We are planning on going back again ASAP. Much love!

We both went for the sausage main to try something with a local feel. Overall it was good but we just felt the meat could have been of higher quality. Maybe just a bad choice on our part as other dishes looked great. Waiter was very friendly and no issues with the service or ambience. Set back from the river but well located. Would not put anyone off going here but maybe try a different dish.

Delicious, homestyle cooking with good sized portions and very attentive service! Very cozy atmosphere, dimly lit with candles. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Service was very friendly, we chose the Slovenian dishes. Sausage and the dumplings, very tasty and good price quality balance. Home made Tiramisu is tasty as well the Slovenian cream cake.

We were looking forward to some real Slovenian food. So we ordered the dumplings and the sausage. Dumplings and sauce were bland, I had to add salt. Sausage nothing special compared with German, Austrian or Czech ones. We don't know if it should be like this, a bit boring , or we were just unlucky. Friendly staff.

An immediate warm welcome from the owner set the scene, pulling tables together for our group of 5 plus 1 dog. He checked our Covid papers/QR codes as required, and proceeded to make sure we were comfortable and ready for a relaxing time. The place is small, maybe ~25 seats, and the ambiance is quite "home-y" and personal... If I were a local, I would be a regular! There are two clean toilets, one for boys and one for girls. On to the food... Maybe most impactful, is he served our dog first, making sure he had water and was comfortable. Very kind. :) Now the human food... The chicken liver and truffle pate blew us away! I could eat that every day. This stands out the most when I think back to our food there. We also got the meat board, which had a tasty variety of things - not as simple/"elevated" as the pate, but still worthwhile. Then, many of us got the trout, which was cooked perfectly - savory, salted, and a bit crispy on the edges - though some in our group thought it was *too* salty. For me it was perfect. :) The accompanying spinach mashed potatoes were creamy/buttery and savory with a certain umami. Would definitely get it again. Then there was the sausage main dish, which of course included delicious sausage, but the accompanying fried potatoes and veggies were a perfect pairing. Then there was the cream cake - I forget the actual name - for dessert. Oh man, we were stuffed after the mains, but it's a must-have! Find room in your belly. It's better than anywhere else! Overall, a really wonderful experience. The total was ~€115 for all 5, which I think is really high value. Thanks to the "Me" in Marley & Me for the great time!

A very cute and comfortable little restaurant. The food was amazing and that for a fair price. The service was also very good, and everyone was really friendly! We will definitely eat here again if we come back to Lubiljana!

Sat down for a solo lunch and had the most amazing meal and experience. The gnocchi was rich and flavorful and the tiramisu was some of the best I’ve ever had. The owner of the restaurant is probably the sweetest person I’ve ever met on my travels and made my solo meal feel like a meal with friends. If you’re a traveler and want a good meal and friendly conversation this is the place to come.

Nice staff, very helpful and attentive. Decent glass of cold wine. Didn't enjoy sitting by the toilets and the octopus was overcooked.
