An amazing building from the architectural and spiritual viewpoints. Its size is awesome. Although it's not the largest cathedral in the UK it apparently is the longest. The stained glass windows and other features inside are quite incredible. As well as performing marriage ceremonies the actual reception and meal can be held here and on our visit the dining tables were on view. Well worth a visit.

I came here with my family in mid-March, and it was beyond majestic. Just approaching the main doors you know that what's inside is truly a sight to behold. We spent about two hours just taking in all the awe-inspiring designs, observing all the intricate features in the stained glass windows, and going up to the top level of the cathedral to observe a 360 view of this great city. The World War memorial area was a tearful touch to what must be the most beautiful of cathedrals. Some photos are attached as the testament to the glory of this grand building.

Attended for the sound and light performance that was on for a limited time. So glad we went, it was so beautiful and well attended. The atmosphere was amazing and put one in the Christmas mood. The whole cathedral was illuminated and the music very moving. Very reasonably priced with friendly staff. Well worth a visit if you can next year!

It is nice to see that it is free to enter but do like a donation and that's fine. There are places you can not get if in a wheelchair. There is a lift down to the ladies chapel. Great place to visit and experience

Absolutely amazing place, we missed the opportunity to go up to the top but would defiantly go back again to experience it. I'd like it if there was more educational points dotted around the place. Or even tour people to be able to answer general questions. So much to take in. The cafe is lovely too, and the parking is pretty reasonable. Will defiantly back

Really lovely Cathedral, felt very modern as it was so clean and fresh. The gentleman welcoming us in was very pleasant, he have us a map and told us which way to go and that if we wanted to go to the top of the Cathedral we could for a charge. We lit a couple of candles and donated some money which was a nice experience. The stained glass windows were stunning, I am sure even more so when the sun in shining through. Very quiet and peaceful. I would definitely say go and visit if you are in Liverpool.

The cathedral was a great choice in a sunny day. The architecture is quite stark but the vaulted ceilings are incredible. Went to the top of the tower (for £7 pp) and had beautiful views of the city. Would definitely recommend a visit.

It’s so cute and informative. A great story of the greatest musical band ever. You can spend there more than 2 hours if you will listen to all stories on your media guide. And they have lot of languages! If you like their music this a definitely place for you. But the price is too heavy for the museum. It’s £18

We weren't sure if the kids (ages 7 and 9) would engage with this but they loved it! Lots of interesting facts and the experience was enjoyed by all. You receive a headset to listen to each attraction as you go around with extra info to read along the way.

If you're from any generation chances are you know more than one of their songs, but if you were a teenager in the 60's they're a large part of the soundtrack of your youth, and thus never forgotten. No matter who you are this is likely the one place in Liverpool you absolutely must visit. Loved every minute of the self guided tour of memorable photos and exhibits. The digital AV support is excellent and best of all it's at your own pace. MOST EXCELLENT!

Very good. Lots of interesting stuff. Especially with the digital assistant. Well thought out exhibits. Quite remarkable recreation of the Cavern Club and story of the time. Well worth a visit if you are keen on the Beatles and their story. Nice cup of tea at the end.

A must for anyone who has even a little interest in the fab four...it's basically a chronological walk through their careers. Lots of interesting info & good exhibits. At the exhibition you'll be given headphones and an audio/visual description to take around with you. We went on a Sunday and it wasn't heaving, was able to take our time, take some pics and enjoy the experience. Gift shop wasn't ridiculously priced either, which was a nice change to many others.

Booked online. Arrived early and the staff were very accommodating and let us in. Loved the layout. Spent about 90 minutes which was enough time. The location is easy to find. If you're a Beatles fan or interested in how they came together and the vans rise & eventual break up, well worth a visit.

Only a small museum but it's got some good exhibits that belonged to the Beatles, guitars and whatnot. Only complaint is that since they introduced audio guides, people tend to stand round blocking the rooms, oblivious to anyone around them. Would be better to get rid of them.

Considering this exhibit/museum has been in existence 30yrs we felt it wasn’t as good as it should be. I understand official Beetles memorabilia is expensive but I felt it should of had more of the real deal. The walking guides/headset is a good idea in principle and it does save them money by not having individual guides walking around spitting out the same stuff over & over, however we felt they didn’t always run in order with the exhibits. For the money I guess it’s worth it but I don’t see it as something you would re-visit. The Cavern re-creation is quite cool, but then you may as well just go to the Cavern! Also, if you’re not too great on your feet it does go on for quite a while, there are places to sit in the Cavern section which is about 25-35 mins in, and again about an hour in when there are aeroplane seats, then again about another 15 mins later when you reach sections on the beetles as individuals. A top tip would be to find out when the least busy times are and go then. I suspect first thing in the morning mid-week. The reason I say this is because it gets quite congested meaning you can’t see and read the displays properly.

You can easily spend 2 or 3 hours in this place. It give real detailed info about the Beatles from their very,beginning until the breakup. There are sections dedicated to each member and what happened to them after the breakup. They have constructed decor and nice places to sit and listen to parts of the tour here and there. Totally recommend it 😊

We went inside mainly because my girlfriend wanted it badly so here we went. To be honest wasn't expecting to be as awesome as it was. Very well organised, curated and explained throughout via a audio tour. It spans from before they were famous until well after they were not a band anymore. Enormous amount of memorabilia, videos, audios of them and people closely associated with them. In truth everything was excellent and well worth it. If you do know the whole story, if you are a true fan or even if you are mildly interested as I am, I promise you, you will love the experience!

Neither of us are great Beatles fans. It was just something we thought we should go and see on a rainy day in Liverpool. It started off well as I am 61 and have a Blue Light Card, so double discount (£19 reduced to £12). The entry fee for my partner was £19. Both entries come with headsets, and to be honest, they worked very well, providing clear information in many languages with an option to pause, rewind, or skip as necessary. You can also adjust the volume of the headset. The tour took us about 1:30hrs to get around. It could take longer if you choose to read information in each of the sections. There is a cafe and shop selling beatles memorabilia at the end of the tour. The staff we had interaction with were very friendly and helpful. For me, it was worth the £12 entry fee. My partner didn't think it was value for money at £19.

Amazing stadium and one of my favourites. Audio guides help give an insight into the stadium's history and it's also kind of a of free flow tour. So, you can look around and proceed your own pace, not pressured by time or being left behind. Excellent stadium for an excellent club.

One of the best stadiums I have been to! Classic and historic landmark in England. The tour was exceptional and the the gentleman who was guiding us through the tour was amazing and extraordinary. Even if you’re not into football, you would be interested and listen to him, his name is “Michael” a nice and well informed gentleman.

My second visit here, and I always enjoy it. The stadium is impressive, the staff and people are friendly. Getting to the stadium isn’t too difficult, as there are buses running from the city center on match days. The return bus ride can be a bit of a challenge due to the large number of people heading back, but apart from that, it’s a fantastic stadium and a wonderful experience.

Went for a stadium tour with my son for his first visit to Anfield and it was great. We did the self tour with audio guide. There is staff everywhere to help and seeing my son was struggling with the ear buds one straight away got him so overhead ones instead. We were able to see the stands the dressing rooms have pics with the trophies as well as learning some history on the way. It wasn't expensive and is disability friendly.

I'm not into football at all, however my brother certainly is, however he's disabled and needed someone with him I went here, with fairly low expectations, however it's actually quite decent even as someone who doesn't care for football. If you have a blue badge, you can park just right outside the Anfield stadium for free, however places are somewhat limited.

Haven't been here since 2005. Did the tour and loved all the sights and seeing behind the scenes of the greatest club on earth. Can't wait to come back again and watch a game. Anfield is my church.

Did the Stadium tour and museum, watch a great way to start the trip to Liverpool. Not massive football fans (mainly patriotic when it comes to the main events like Euros and World Cup) so to make us immersed and wanting to learn about the history and team ethos is saying something. Great tour and loved being able to be at both the top and bottom stands to feel a part of the fan experience.

Did the stadium tour and couldn’t fault it. All the staff were so friendly, approachable and great sense of humour. Reasonable price for the length of the tour and what was included. The Liverpool store after was a treat! Great selection of products and also very friendly, helpful staff. Well worth a visit..

My second time coming here and I always love it. The stadium is magnificent the staff and people are friendly. Getting to the stadium isn’t very hard as there are buses running to the football ground from the city centre on match day. Getting a bus back is a struggle as there are many people heading back but besides that it’s a wonderful stadium and a wonderful experience.

This modern museum is well worth a visit. The exhibition spaces are light and airy and display cases carefully arranged and informative. There is a wealth of detail on the city starting from prehistoric times right up to present day. Allow about 2 hours for a visit with children. Interactive screens etc are dotted throughout the museum but sadly several were not working on our visit. There is little to keep really young children engaged. There is a good value cafe and lots of toilets available.

This is a museum lover's paradise. We had an amazing day out and the exhibits were very informative and interesting. Definitely recommended if you are someone who loves spending your time in museum visits

This is a lovely museum filled with local history and has such a nice chilled out vibe to the place. The place was clean, spacious and packed full of interesting exhibits on display. You get a real sense of the pride of the area and you begin to understand the contribution to the uk that Liverpool and it’s people have made and continue to make. We will be back as we didn’t see everything!

This is a fascinating place. It explains the history of Liverpool brilliantly and made for a great day. The place itself is situated right in the heart of Liverpool docks, which is absolutely stunning. I was also thrilled to see that it was free entry, and the staff were polite and gracious. I would definitely come back here.

Overall a solid museum and especially with it being free! Excellent exhibits all around although too many kids for me ha! My caveat is the poor directions to get around exhibits. Case in point: entering the 1st floor one faces the Viking history section… and yet the earliest ancestors history is to the left of that. Why are there no signs indicating to start to the left?? It was like this all over many of the larger exhibit halls.

I truly enjoyed my visit of the museum. The presentation was very well done. I would recommend it to anyone. The added bonus is the top floor at the viewing gallery. You can get a stunning birds-eye view of the city. Free to enter with the optional £5 donation.

Little Liverpool toddler sessions. Our 2 year old absolutely loved playing here with the educational and interactive toys. It's free to enter but you need a ticket for the session so they can monitor numbers. Quite on weekday mornings, check session times online. Minature Liverpool Docks with water and boats was great. There's a sensory area for babies to relax and more robust toys and exhibits for toddlers to play with and learn. Brilliant representation of the city in miniature form. The museum itself is excellent too for adults and kids of all ages once you've tired the little ones out.

Great building but not sure if it is designed abundantly well. I imagine other museums places etc have a lot of other great pieces but some things felt sparse. Where is unless I missed it the Everton/Liverpool story, once great friends now rivals. Interesting pieces throughout but I lost the sense of how Liverpool changed over the years. Go to the recording studio though that was fun.

I love this museum! Three floors of displays, so many things to view and interact with, displays which can be viewed with all six senses! There are interactive displays, displays you can smell, displays you can feel, displays you can see and hear… and so much more. I’ve been here a few times, multiple times when I was younger and more recently last week when I visited Liverpool for my birthday. This museum is great for all age ranges, the displays never get old! On the top floor there is also a glass window where you can get an amazing view of Liverpool, perfect for tourists - I have attached a picture of this view! Would definitely recommend!

The museums in Liverpool are free and all are well worth a visit, there is a lot of Liverpools history, very modern feel to it and there is always something new to see, there is a souvenir shop and a nice cafe there too, staff are always helpful, lifts and excellent toilet facilities, highly recommend

Cafe was a bit rubbish - no menus anywhere and staff not particularly forthcoming but went to a food van outside the museum instead and then back in once we'd eaten. This was a treat for my birthday and we couldn't fault the food or service! First glance at the food portions makes you think it won't be enough but we had 3 courses and by the time you've finished you realise that the menu has been put together in such a way that it still hits the spot! Would personally recommend and would also go again! It has a quiet,calm atmosphere but not so quiet that you feel people are listening to you and the tables have good space between them!

The food and service were very good. The waitresses we had were very polite and informative on the food and wine which we consumed. This is not the first time I have visited this restaurant. However, I am always awestruck by the views of the city. This was my first time seeing it from the night sky. This too was also very beautiful as the city lights remind me of the night sky. Which we can't see because of the city lights. I have given everything five stars, except for the atmosphere. I have given the atmosphere four stars only because the music selection was a bit odd? And it didn't match the evening nor did the songs have any coherence to one another. Overall, at the end of the day, when everything is said and done. I believe this is a very good restaurant if you want fancy food in Liverpool but also have very beautiful views and delicious wine.

we came for afternoon tea. it was a wonderful relaxing atmosphere, with a great art deco design. the tea and drinks were delicious, and our server was so nice. she gave us great recommendations of things to do in crosby, which is where we were visiting. the food left much to be desired but if you came for just the drinks i think you’d leave quite satisfied.

An awesome place. Perfect for a special occasion or just a nice treat. Friendly staff, very clean - even had wipe down plastic cover on the lift buttons, just the thing in this post covid world. The views are stunning, they definitely fit the name panoramic. And the food was delicious. We had a lovely afternoon tea with cocktails. Would highly recommend a visit.

I absolutely loved it first time there I couldn't fault it. Atmosphere warm and welcoming, staff attentive. My daughter took me there with her dad for afternoon tea for my birthday. The waiter explained what was on the tray and with my daughter having allergies,gluten free, they made gluten free food for her. The view of the waterfront was amazing made you relaxed while eating and drinking and you could see the Welsh mountains in the distance. Enjoyed my lovely surprise of the maccron with Happy Birthday written on the plate in chocolate.

We have been to this place on my husband's 30th birthday. Stunning view with flavourful food and drink. Extremely calm and relaxed place to enjoy contemporary food. Definitely recommend Corn Fed Chicken Breast, Watercress Salad and Dark Chocolate Crémeux.

Lovely lunch with my daughter for my birthday. It was perfection from beginning to end. The food was delicious. The Staff were very attentive and friendly. The views over Liverpool and the waterfront are absolutely amazing!!! Can't wait to visit again.

Came here on Thursday evening and got engaged 🥰 we had a lovely window side view of the city! Staff were friendly and helpful. The drink prices were little more than average which is to be expected here tho about £10 per drink roughly! But totally worth 2hrs or so for a few drinks! We booked in advance as well

Very lovely food ! A group of us had the taster menu which was lovely, although different to the one listed online and there one of our group didn't eat much. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff very friendly, although on first serving a staff member knocked over a small flower pot with water in on our table, and on second serving another staff member knocked over one of our groups entire drink on the table. A nice experience overall, but may need a little more attention to detail regarding serving.

Incredible place. Pre booked afternoon tea. I had booked the signature afternoon tea, which was a little more expensive but worth it. From start to finish the service was spectacular. From getting seated as they where finishing our table, to getting taken to it and making sure it was ok for us. To the food and drink service. The afternoon was lovely and one of the best I've had. The views are incredible Staff are very helpful and friendly. The service is quick. The only issue is they never brought and tea or coffee to us, even though it was on the menu. Would highly recommended. Easy to find and beautiful views. Would go again.

An Exceptional Dining Experience. The vibrant energy and welcoming atmosphere is something to applaud for. Every dish I tried was bursting with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were evident, and the attention to detail in the preparation truly elevated the dining experience. The staffs were outstandingly friendly and lovely. Their energy and friendly demeanor added to the overall positive ambiance of the restaurant. Also due to their exceptional customer service the restaurants are always full during weekends.

Personally, I think Elif is one of the best restaurants in Liverpool City centre. Their food portions are so big and worth the price. We had the lunch menu and I think we could have ordered only 1 set menu which will already fill up 2 people. The staff were welcoming too!

Very high quality restaurant in an excellent area of the city. The food is all made to order and is very fresh and cooked to perfection. There’s a great choice of food on the menu with Mezes, Full Meal options, kebab choices and much more. We were a hard group to find somewhere to eat as we needed somewhere Vegan Friendly and also able to accommodate Gluten Free. They had a full gluten free menu on request which had a huge choice considering some other places only give you a couple of options. The price was reasonable for the quality of food, the order was timely and the staff were very friendly so all in all top marks here nothing letting the place down.

Good good, prompt service. The menu was very exhaustive and a lot of options for chicken, lamb, seafood! Good options for a group and people with good appetite. It’s a popular place and the place was fully booked, all the tables were full. Yet the service was fast. That is saying something about the kitchen. Good quality food with good quantity. I would say don’t fill in your stomach with just the salads (it’s super tasty) order one plate for yourself from main-course. We ordered the chicken wings, Turkish tea, lamb/ chicken with aubergine and Turkish pudding with ice-cream.

Amazing food. This is by far the best Turkish food I have tasted in the UK. We ordered the prawns and sigara for starters and both absolutely delicious. We had a mixed grill for two for the main. The meat was juicy and cooked perfectly. The portion was HUGE which was great because we could enjoy it for another day. (We had half of the main meal left over). Controversial, but the rice was my favourite part. I could have eaten it till I popped. Ambiance was lovely and staff were pleasant. Lovely location.

Food is always great here, you can't go wrong. The chicken is so tender, it melts in your mouth. Top quality, the main dishes come with rice and veggies, making them a proper meal. They also bring some bread and salad for the table with your orders. Shame some of the waiters can be a little grumpy, took a while for someone to come get our order and the booking online did not seem to work, they told us it's a hit and miss. Luckily it was Tuesday night and they could squeeze us in.

Yesterday, upon arriving in Liverpool after a long journey from Wales, I was in search of a spot to enjoy some delectable food. I stumbled upon this establishment that boasted extended operating hours. The staff gave me a warm reception and graciously seated me, despite being a party of one. I was ushered to a pleasant corner of the restaurant. Soon after placing my order, I was treated to an exquisite and enticing salad, swiftly followed by an exceptional mixed grill that left me thoroughly satisfied. What an incredible dining experience and a hearty welcome to Liverpool—a city that I'm now contemplating a move to. If you find yourself indecisive about where to dine or are on the hunt for a great meal spot, hesitate no further; this is undoubtedly the place for you.

Amazing resturant, spent Thursdays evening here and ordered the barbecue ribs and dirty burger. Was absolutely delicious, enjoyed every aspect of the dish and cocktails. The sauce tasted delicious, the meat was perfectly cooked and the sides were so flavourful, could easily eat everything just on their own. The staff were lovely, the host and waitress so very inviting and welcoming to us. Becky was lovely to talk to and did a great job managing their area.

My husband and I had a delicious Valentines meal here today. The starter, main and dessert were all superb, as was the service. We were looked after by Scott who gave 100% customer service. We would definitely dine here again.

I want to give these guys four stars because they have too much choice on the menu. But the staff were wonderful and the food was great. I loved my T-bone steak and the scallop and chorizo was a great starter Cocktails were good and they even have an option for desert - cocktail and mini desert! Well worth a visit, was very busy on a Tuesday night so recommend booking in advance. The kids steak was so nice and a large serving.

My waitress was excellent. Food was great as usual. As a solo diner I couldn't book for 1 on the website so had to book a table for 2. Although this was no problem at the restaurant but this needs addressing to avoid losing custom.

We visited number of premises across the country from Scotland to down south counties. On our list of quality they are food wise very low. Facilities on other hand have been very good.

Enjoyed my surf n turf. We had to make a reservation. Yesterday there was no room any more. Many choices. They listened carefully to my request not to use onions (allergic problem). I saw some negative reviews about the quality of the fries. We had fries made from sweet potatoes which tasted very good. service attentive and friendly. Conclusion very good restaurant.

Went here for lunch when having a day out in Liverpool. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Dan H was excellent and really helpful when dealing with my brother who has severe food allergies. The food was excellent. Such a lovely place to have lunch.

This was a good experience. Had rib eye (50day) plus lobster tail 50£ with a. Drink 9£ (approx) and 10.5£ dessert. Overall good however expensive and this for special occasions only.

Decadent steakhouse with unlimited sides, 11 cuts of grilled meat AND good options for vegetarians! Perfect for a treat. Definitely pricey but also worth it. Cuts of meat are cooked to preference, where servers come around tables and cut off pieces. Personal favourites include: Picanha (beef), pork belly in honey, gammon with pineapple, garlic beef steak and chicken hearts! They also have lamb and several chicken options, as well as sausages. A must try for meat lovers!

Brazilian BBQ Buffet. A friendly greeting and reception is held here in the afternoon. The ingredients in the buffet area are very clean and fresh. At the Brazilian BBQ area, chefs come to prepare freshly cut grilled meats. The different meats and ingredients kept us very satisfied and full. We are very happy to be here.

We visited here in January for my birthday and everything was lovely. Staff were amazing and very helpful. They even surprised me with a little cake FOC at rhe end. This was a lovely touch and very thoughtful. Thank you

One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in my life. Besides the best appetisers and side dishes I’ve tried, the meat was PERFECT. Customer service top, ambiance 10/10 and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great food experience. Can’t want to go back! 🥳

We dined here for our anniversary. We originally had the table looked for 6pm, however got stuck in traffic and we were going to miss our time- I called up and they immediately swapped our time for 8.30pm, which was great. When we arrived we were seated straight away by a lovely staff member. As it was our anniversary we were given a glass of sparkling wine each. We ordered cocktails- they were amazing, and I think we had about 4 each while we were there- a hot side each (the creamy mushrooms and the truffle fries), and then made our way to the cold sides bar. There was so much choice, you could have filled up on sides alone! We had about 6 different meats, all of which were cooked to absolute perfection. The meat was continually flowing and always hot. Compliments to the chef and thank you very much to the staff. We would definitely return.

Love Brazilian food and rodízio! This place was great, service and food alike! Their appetizers really set them apart! Right in the city center at that! Oh, the desert was sooo good!

There are lots of amazing places to eat in Liverpool city centre. I've been to most of them. But Fazenda is a cut above. Hard to put into words how much I enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. The value for cost is incredible...unlimited sides, unlimited steak, and a cold food bar with tons of options. Absolutely blown away by my experience here and can't wait to return. Lovely staff, very polite and friendly.

Good place to try many kinds of meats and enjoy. Chef comes to your table about every apx. 5 mins and slices for you. All meats were fresh and cooked medium rare perfectly. There is a salad bar and you can order any sides within the price too. We ordered 2 sides but each one is quite big portion so you should think wisely to enjoy all salad bar, sides and meat. My favorite one was fillet steak. Highly recommend!

Delicious food, excellent cocktails and colourful, fun decor. We especially enjoyed the nachos - great toppings & tortillas had a good crunch. Just be aware, though, that the burritos are mega in size, and could easily be shared between two. We'll definitely recommend this place, which is ideally located on Bold Street.

We went here at lunch time (good lunch time deals on tapas and 2 courses). The service was attentive and quick. The portions were of good size (we went for the large tapas lunch option... 3 of the large plates are more than enough food). The only reason it didn't get 5* was that I got the impression that the chicken wings weren't fresh and had been reheated. Other than that, thee ready of the food was very tasty.

I don't often eat Mexican, so La Parrilla was a relatively new dining experience for me. Food here tasted decent, served nice and warm, with authentic ingredients and flavours. However, I did feel quite stodgy and congested towards the end. Maybe that's just Mexican food, I'm not sure! Price wise, La Parrilla is very reasonable, with meal deals to choose from if you're starving. The staff here are welcoming, very attentive and effecient when it comes to service.

Went here last Thursday. Good amount of outdoor seating and in the sun which is a bonus. Ordered drinks and I got a bubblegum daiquiri-which was amazing & probably one of the best I've had. Food wise, it was the early bird menu- the jacket potato skins were lovely, they where also up there. It was let down by the chicken fajitas! Did not like them one bit and there was so much oil. Probably wouldn't go again!

Fabulous Mexican restaurant in a vibrant part of town. It has a huge menu with plenty of different options and lots for vegetarians. I had nachos and a chimichanga. Both were so delicious and the potion sizes are humongous, we even took some home. The staff are a delight, very friendly and helpful. There are lots of cocktails to try too. Would happily return.

My partner wanted Mexican food for her birthday so we made the trip to Liverpool after seeing good reviews. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the food. We thought she ordered a burrito bowl but when they came out with a plate of tacos and we asked questions they spoke down at us. The chicken was unfortunately very dry and tasted like it had been reheated. Unfortunately we got chicken nachos, chicken enchiladas, and the chicken ‘tacos’ we didn’t want so we were stuck with dry chicken throughout. The spicy Mexican tomato sauce was overpowering everything and made it all taste the same. We ended up picking at the food, paying, then going somewhere else to eat. Waste of money and more so put a damper on the birthday celebrations.
