Nice to visit, especially early in the morning when the fishermen are out with their boats or just fishing with nets from the shore. The fresh fish gets sold on the spot, some stands will even make a dish out of it for you. Its also a nice walk on the shore.

The Chinese Fishing Nets at Fort Kochi is a must visit attraction in Kerala. These are fixed land installations, used for fishing in a unique method. These nets are fixed on bamboo and teak poles holding it horizontally by huge mechanisms so as to pull them down into the sea. These nets are weighed by large stones tied to ropes. Operated by a team of six fishermen, the height of the Chinese fishing nets is around 10 meters, each sprawling to 20 meters over the water body. Each net has a fixed operating depth and due to this a net cannot be repeatedly worked in tidal waters. There are different fishing nets for operation which are based on the state of the tide.

There are around 10-12 Chinese Fishing Nets on the Walkway. But the place is not very clean and to go and see from near you have to shed some bucks. The Nets are raised and lowered depending on the tides and later the catch is put for Auction and we can buy from there if you want. But overall the place has to be raised to next level to meet the standard and keep it tidy and clean , as this is the face of Fort Kochi and one of the iconic spots on the island.

Got opportunity to visit Lulu Mall. Best of the best malls in India. Got in with an idea of making out within two hours and ended up spending more than six hours. This mall has got spacious parking with clear markings. Mall had all the brands available across the globe. Cloth store has got lots of selections. Most highlight is Lulu Hypermarket. Products available with lots of varieties and best price. Would recommend all to visit this mall at least once.Also metro train connectivity is also a available.

It's very organized and everything is labeled, shelved easy to find. The staff are helpful too. Hypermarket aside, there are lots of branded shops with mostly quality products and services. If you're rich enough, you can afford these, but good thing is you get guarantee and loyalty points, etc. Food court also spacious and to some extent varieties of food stall. The stores there offer you a real variety of shopping experience. To see and enjoy everything there, you require atleast half a day to see every single corner of it. The shopping there seems to be a bit on the expensive. It also has a good entertainment zone for the kids and the family. Feeding rooms for new mothers, Clean washrooms, prayer rooms, friendly staff and best thing. The parking spots were fantastic. ♿️ A wheel chair accessible entrance.

It was a really good experience. We reached the mall around 9:30 so was easy to park the car. And then we went in. Shops were closed though and they opened around 10:00 am. Had a good coffee. After a bit of window shopping went to hypermarket to buy groceries and other items. Then we visited the food section where there was a wide variety of food available for non vegetarians. Vegetarians also had some options. Bought lasagna, biriyani, chicken wings, fresh juice. Could not try everything but whatever we tried there was really tasty and filling.

Not much of a hype,place is crowded and very small beach area. Minimum food stalls. Good waves so its kind of fun when entering into the water. But must be careful as some really deep areas ate there.

Arabian sea looked calm & lot of people were enjoying playing with the waves. Sand at beach was good, we really enjoyed the fresh coconut water & flesh inside. A great place to enjoy while at Kochi of Kerala. Sun set view was really wonderful.

Nice beach to enjoy your evening. Moderately calm waters. Beach is clean and there are enough rocks to sit and enjoy the view. Gets crowded in the evening which spoils the experience a bit. The sunset was beautiful. It’s too far from Kochi and the taxi fare varies from INR 800-1200. During peak hours, it gets difficult to book Ola or Uber. Hiring a taxi for up and down is more convenient. There are shops near by from where you can buy beach dresses, towels, beach toys for kids etc. There are many food outlets near by to have food, which are average ‘daaba types’ and you will not find any fancy restaurants close to the beach. A few meters from the beach, there is a privately owned place that offers bathrooms to take bath and change your dress. It’s neat but not well maintained. Charges are nominal. Though it’s safe, you should make sure to go there when there are people around. Take care of your belongings. Overall, the experience was good and satisfactory!

Cherai Beach is a beautiful beach. The beach is very clean There are several resorts, hotels, and restaurants located on the banks of beach that offer a comfortable stay and delicious cuisine. It is a great place to relax and unwind amidst the serene beauty of nature.. Lots of local people come here to enjoy in the evening's and play in the sea up to night. I visited in the month April , it s very hot during the day and afternoon. There are a lot of small shops available for snacks and cool drinks

It's a small palace converted into a museum. It is located in the first floor and the ticket counter is available there. The entry ticket is ₹5 per head, which is very nominal. There is a QR code outside the palace using which we can pay and get the tickets. The interiors of the palace looks good and photogenic otherwise there is nothing much to look at this palace. There are few guides in the museum, who will explain about the palace and the kings. There is a small pond near to it which adds to the beauty. There is also a temple next to it, where only Hindus are allowed. There is an open parking space for this palace, where we can park our vehicles. We visited here on Saturday. The place is open on Saturday, and it has been wrongly mentioned on Maps. If you are here in Mattancherry, then you can pay a visit to this Palace. A small walk from here is the Jew Town and the Boating area.

It's a beautiful palace. It's approximately 1 to 1.3km walk from the fort kochi jetty. Entry fee is rs 5 per head. The palace is converted to a museum. It displays the history of the place, just a part of the palace is open to the tourists, although I wish there was an access to the courtyard it looked absolute splendid from the windows. If you are an architecture lover you will love it. The ceiling,the windows, the doors, The wooden works and the detailing everything is extremely gorgeous. Also it is really well maintained.

Visiting this palace for the first time. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this museum. It is a beautiful palace. Murals and more are displayed here. Loved the vibe of the old palace and they have maintained it well.Entrance fee is Rs 5 per person- kids go free. There is also an outdoor area to sit and relax. Only a part of the palace is open to tourists, which you will love if you are an architecture lover. Ceilings, windows, doors, woodwork, everything is detailed. And it's really well maintained.

A beautiful small palace (a Dutch palace) which is converted to a government museum. Fee: very nominal fee Only problem for seniors is that he/she has to climb the stairs. Camera is allowed except at certain places where very old wall paintings are there. Enough car parking is also present.

One of the oldest palaces in Kochi. Well maintained inside with lot of information related to the palace is displayed everywhere. Lot of old mural paintings and painting of the King can be seen there. Photography is prohibited inside the palace. The Jew street is at walkable distance from here. Parking is available for any vehicle.

A place of historic importance. Neatly maintained. Can see some of the old coins, headbands, outfits, weapons, palanquin, paintings etc... A good place to bring young kids to teach them our history and culture... Some parts of the palace is under renovation. Never felt it to be crowded on a public holiday. Kids really enjoyed looking at all the historic event description, old coins, weapons and outfits. The paintings were all outstanding and the architecture was amazing...

They have a lot of antique things collection. Good place to visit. Entry fee is ₹100. And if you want to take pictures then extra ₹100 for that. But it is worth visiting this place.

It's a treasure trove of antiques. About 25000 items are stored in a not-so-random manner within the limited space. That space crunch is the only negative observation from my end, cause it lead us to not enjoy the splendid collections to their utmost glory. But I loved the artifacts and couldn't stop clicking pics. The 100 rupees spent on permission for using any camera (on phone or other devices) was most aptly justified for me. If you're looking for glimpses of Kerala's heritage in real life, don't miss this museum.

It’s a must in order to experience local culture. You can observe, not only Kerala elements, but also from other regions of Southern India. Please, don’t compare it with other museums that are state-supported. This is a private initiative held only by the willingness of a family. They deserve to be supported through the visit, which takes something around one hour. If you’re in Fort Kochi, take a bus to New Bridge. From there you can take a bus to the museum.

The Museum is located at Thevara, near to Thevara Ferry Junction. Parking space is available beside the compound. The entry fee is Rs 100. For photography you need to take an extra ticket. The museum is well curated and maintained by a private trust helmed by Mr George. The daily affairs and administration is handled by Mrs Annie George. The artefacts are mainly consisting of wooden sculptures, paintings, utensils, pottery, ancient artifacts, Jewellery and cutleries apart from attractive antiques. The items are arranged in three floors with arrangements for purchasing Jwellery and textile materials /souvenirs. The place may not be suitable for elderly people view steep staircases to top floors. The footwears are not allowed inside the museum complex, so one should be prepared for alternative arrangement if you need one. The place is worth watching.. Lot of efforts have been put in by the trust.. Kudos to the team who maintains this property..

The entry ticket costs more than double for foreigners. The collection in the museum itself is exemplary. Many antique items from all over India. More astonishing is almost everything in this museum was sourced by one man, funded out of his own pockets. Quick critique: The sheer volume of items in this place also detracts from the overall experience, as there is too much to see but not much opportunity to learn the detailed history behind each objects. I would prefer a historical museum with items arranged in chronological order instead of this haphazardness. All things considered, this is still a recommended place to visit for visitors who enjoy antiques and local culture.

Great place to visit if you want to explore the cultural heritage and artefacts of Kerala. The museum has a large variety of antiques spread across three floors. You can also purchase some of the exhibited items like Kerala sarees, jewellery, perfumes and some souvenirs like fridge magnets at rs 200 each. You have to remove your shoes before entering the museum and have to climb the wooden stairs(safe for children and elderly people) to get to the different floors. Entry fee : 100 rs per person Camera charges 100rs extra (one camera ticket for a group) if you want to click pictures.

Great place to have breakfast from! Their English breakfast was at par... Really loved the way they presented their dish. French toast was perfectly cooked and the whipped cream as a side dish to it was yummy too. Cold espresso with ice cream stole my heart. A must visit place when you are in Fort Kochi. The place also has lots of artistic works and it's a perfect place for photoshoots!!! The dishes are a bit on the expensive side though. Overall, it was worth the money and was a great start for the day with their breakfast choices.

Kashi art cafe as its name says it is an cafe with full of art works. As we enter the cafe we will see small art and craft works.some are funny, some are amazing.nice work of art can be seen. Coming to the food ,it's a little expensive place but the food has its quality and quantity too. Beef steak was amazing 😋😋. perfectly cooked with smashed potatoes and boiled vegetables.but when coming to pasta it's not good actually.sauce was fully stuffed in it like we would actually stop after 3-5spoons.taste was also not up to the expectations. After all good experience Staffs were friendly and excellent service. 😊😊 This cafe is near beach as its hard to locate.

This was my first time in kochi. We choose this place because it has a lot of reviews with good ratings. I'll take about the positives first, the interiors, ambience and just the overall vibe of the cafe is immaculate. You'll definitely know that there was a lot of thought put into the decor and every corner has an amazing aesthetic. Coming to the food and the service there can be a lot of improvements. We ordered a burger, the herb and cheese sandwich and a side of pita bread. The food tastes decent but isn't something to wow about. It took about 35 minutes for the food to arrive. The cafe seems to be catering to a different set of tourists and foreigners.

Visited the much talked about Kashi Art Cafe and I was impressed. People who say Kashi is overpriced, should definitely recheck their portion size. It's such huge portions they serve and the quality of the ingredients used is just too good. Tried the herb cheese sandwich, iced tea, lemonade and the must order chocolate cake. The sandwich was huge, the bread was nice, toasty and had a nice height. The cheese filling with the herbs in it was cheesey and yum! Loved every bit of it. The ice teas and lemonade couldn't be made any better. The chocolate was just sinful! The chocolate sauce, the moistness of the cake, everything was to die for. I might visit Kashi just for the cake. The ambience is also pretty cool.

Wonderful experience. A chill ambient vibe with impressive art. When we came to Kochi everyone told us to try the chocolate cake from here, and I’m so glad we did! It’s HUGE maybe best shared between two people or one very hungry one! Would totally recommend.

Situated at the heart of Fort Kochi, nice cozy place to spend some quality time with your friends and family. The moment you enter the cafe, you get a glimpse of the art, Kochi is famous for. The prices are commensurate to the quality of the food and the ambiance/vibe of the place. The crowd is lovely here. The staff is friendly and responsive. Food presentation is awesome. Do try their Grilled Lobster with rice. Given the quality of the food and the cafe getting a full grilled lobster with rice and veggies at just ₹650 is a deal you won't get anywhere I think in entire India. Also try their Honey drink. It's different, it's tasty, it's refreshing. When in Kochi this place is a no brainer. Full marks to everything and a meal etched in memory.

I happened to visit this place twice for breakfast. They unfortunately have limited veg options before 12. I tried vegan breaky which was actually so damn delicious. Their almond milk coffee was not that great. Fruit juices were good too! We also had granola jar and mushroom spinach cheese omlet and oh boy it was all loaded. Their plate size is huge so when trying new things maybe just order 1 first. Staff is good. The place is pretty cozy and nice as well. Overall a good place for food and definitely the ambience. Try to go after 12 and you will be able to explore their entire menu!!

Gallery comes cafe. The interior is super nice with a few breakout rooms and different seating areas. The food is delicious, coffee is made using mocha pot and it’s quite good too. They have a wifi (best to try different spots for better signal) and pieces of art jotted around the place. Clean and not cluttered yet cozy. It’s on the pricier side.

The food was quick and delicious! They were even happy to serve us outside of regular meal times, which was helpful. We really enjoyed the fish mango curry, even though we wish we had gone for the “spicy” option over the “medium” option. The grandma’s chicken curry was lovely too and had a gorgeous texture.

Been here for lunch. We ordered fish pollichathu and appam, chicken curry and chapathi. The appam was sweetish and the fish dish was a flop. For the fish they charged more than what was in the menu. The chicken dish also was not upto the mark. Regret to have visited this place.

I went to try out their seafood chattichoru. It is a more budget friendly alternative to many of the nearby restaurants which offer Seafood platter for approx 1500+ The seafood chatti choru consisted of 7 seafood varieties - fish curry, mathi (sardine) fish fry, natholi (anchovy)fish fry, crab curry, squid fry, mussels fry, meen peera. The quantity is sufficient for 1 person. I also ordered a pot of lemon tea, which they said was sufficient for 2 people. However after 3 cups of tea, the pot was only half empty (or half full, whichever way you prefer to see it 😄). The service was also prompt and staff were friendly. The ambience with the wall decorations and lighting was great too. During my visit Boney M songs were playing in the background which added to the laid-back seaside restaurant vibe.

Small restaurant with superb local food. Loved the Meen Moilee, prawn mango curry & the squid masalla. Be patient, the wait is worth it as everything is freshly made so takes a bit of time

Would have given 4-5 stars but few points blew it away. 1: The pasta ordered was too watery. The taste was ok but the shape and texture was almost like soup rather than pasta. 2. Too hot to sit inside. The AC was switched off. And was almost stuffy inside with almost all tables full. 3. Grilled prawns and rice were good. Recommended.

Also the Prawns in green sauce was tasty, different. And Prawns Moilee with appam, it was the best dinner I had in Kerala in my last visit.. and i have been to many places here..

WORST restaurant ever! Absolute rip off. The prices are ridiculously high for the quality and quantity of food provided. I ordered Kerala grilled fish with rice and the fish brought outwas so stale. I rejected the food and walked out. If there was an option, I would give this place 0 stars. Would definitely NOT recommend this restaurant.

Perfect. The meal I got was delicious! I ordered the shrimp cream sauce penne pasta and I was not at all disappointed- on the contrary, I wanted to order another simply for being so delicious! Bravo! Well done. Update: so I came the next day and got “grandmas chicken curry”. It was tasty, rich and was thoroughly enjoyed. I also had the cauliflower starters— those were a no go for me. Flat, bready, and lacked spice. The cauliflower tasted steamed once bitten into, not fried. Everything else was tasty!

A small place which goes out big on taste. The appams were a delight and have lots of curry options to be enjoyed with.

Decent variety of sea food items I had mango fish curry and rice which was super delicious Place is quite cosy with good ambience They have a bunch of cooking and food related books too I would visit it again

Good ambience and courteous staff. Hotel has ample parking space. Have been here for Lunch buffet. Decor of restaurant is nice and tables were clean and hygienic. Coming to food Soups were good. Starters were a let down. Good variety of salads. Thalassery mutton biriyani in main course was delicious. Main course items felt bit bland though. Desserts were lip smacking. Service was really good and staff were wearing masks as per Covid guidelines. Buffet spread is well arranged and overall a pleasant experience. But wouldn’t say the taste was really great. They allow Zomato pro payments as well. There is a pool view and outdoor seating.

Came here for lunch buffet. This was always on cards since mrinal always have good words for crowne plaza. I must say the buffet was a huge disappointment. Mostly because of the choice of nonveg dishes they had. Can u imagine there was no suitable curry for the live appam. The options were liver curry some idiotic.beef curry. And some bengali fish curry. I think the liver no one even touched. There was not single decent chicken curry or fry. Even the fish fry was below par. The highlight was sambhar. In fact most veg curries were good. The desserts were just ok. Staff were courteous.

We had so much expectations before booking for a dinner, but the food was not upto the mark, there were not so much options for fish and chicken, also the seafood dishes were not good. For cut fruits, I was able to find only watermelon and pappaya, nothing else was there. Overall not satisfied.

Really enjoyed the dessert section. Did not have a lot of vegetarian starters, but main course dishes were plenty. Enjoyed live music and the in house magician was very nice!

On dated 23-09-2022, we were part of IBM kochi ingruration program in crowne plaza Ball room. In the lunch, we have found glass stone in Veg Briyani. Food quality is tarabile. Some places we found dirty bowl.

I was there on the Sunday brunch. It was a nice experience. Huge variety of dessert and food, and live counter and their delicious food in the buffet 😋 lots of choices . I really enjoyed the brunch of mosaic. I will recommend you to reserve the table early, it will be good for you.

Went there to have Sadya (feast) on the occasion of Vishu festival. It was very tasty and service was also good.

Good place to choose if you are going with family to Lulu mall. We spend almost 2 hours with the kids in the play area and looks as a better option to have a south indian buffet with a reasonable price. Price per head was around 589 Rs and you have options from Soups, salads, main courses and deserts. They are very slow While they refill the dishes, biriyani and curry was not having pieces while they were refilling. If you are doing buffet do it in a proper way as Paragon is a well known brand now in Kerala and Middle East.

The Paragon!!! The restaurant is very spacious, staff are friendly and service is excellent. They have a lot of dishes on their menu with apt pricing. Tried most of the non veg dishes over the past couple of years, and liked almost all of them. Tend to be a bit busy during lunch & dinner hours. Most of the times, we can observe a crowd of people waiting outside for their turns to dine in. So anyone who’s planning to visit the restaurant during rush hours must plan ahead accordingly. Tried prawn fry and it was too good. Biryani is not to the mark. A good quantity is served. They serve hot water from time to time. Caramel pudding is good. The service is good.

Had visited three times in this week .So tasty .. food was always fresh . The flavours are so authentic to the state. There is always a wait of 20 minutes to be seated so plan and go accordingly. They cater to the crowd very well in terms of food delivery . I have only give a 4 star because they need to give constant attention to the hygiene aspects in the wash room. As handling crowds is don’t difficult to them.

It's a must visit place if you are at Lulu Mall, Edappally. Located in first, second and third floors. Very good dine-in experience. Excellent service. Rates are higher compared to other paragon restaurants as this one is inside Lulu Mall. But the rates are justified with their service and quality food. Waiting time is normal compared to the rush and they manage the crowd very well. Paragon chicken 65, beef roast and grilled fish tawa are must try.

This place is worth all the hype. Not one area i can nitpick about it. Food is heavenly, service is great, staff is excellent . They know their sea food and their spices and the flavours they come up with is something you will remember forever and will definately crave to come back .

If you want to have good food in lulu mall then this is the best place. The only issue is there can be long waits due to it being popular during lunch time. Mutton biriyani and meals were all great. The atmosphere is good. Me and my wife go here often due to the food quality.

A top rated restaurant in Fortkochin. Nice ambiance, finger licking dishes. It’s expensive, but worth. Lack of parking is a demerit. Staff is so kind.

We have been wanting to try old harbour hotel for a long time now and finally we went for dinner last night. Food was yummy, priced ok.service was ok. beautiful ambience but we were very uncomfortable with a cat and two huge dogs walking in and out of the restaurant . I am sure there r many guests who r comfortable with this arrangement but we were visiting with two small kids (one toddler and one infant) it was very shocking and uncomfortable to have two huge dogs by your table side , even looking into your food so close! We wished they wrote it at the entrance that there r dogs inside (then we would have avoided entering the restaurant) Would love to visit again for the food but definitely not with dog situation 🥴

Great atmosphere & pleasant service. Should visit if you are in fort Cochin for a few days. Dishes, especially Indian ones do not have their authentic taste (ex Byriani was a bit too salty ). However, overall, I would visit again.

location & ambience is beautiful with greenery & colonial architecture. there's a pool in the area too. can be hot in afternoon as it is open space. serve some great cusines & perfectly presented. portion size can be increased, feeels less for 1 person.
