Kailua-Kona

Kailua-Kona is the gateway to the Big Island, and is known as the ‘Sunny Outdoors Capital’ of the island. It has a laid-back, island feel and is the perfect place to enjoy Hawaii. The town is surrounded by beautiful beaches, lush rainforests, majestic mountains and impressive volcanoes, and there are plenty of activities to take part in - from snorkelling and diving to whale watching and experiencing the local culture. The weather is warm and sunny most of the year, making it a great destination for year-round travel.
