The fort is marvelous! It has got all the pomp it could have. You will start enjoying its beauty as we touch the road towards the fort. There are elephant rides that take you to the fort, which foreigners hardly miss😅. It is very big, every structure in the fort is intricately decorated, thoughtfully created. I think it's one of the few forts in India which stands with that level of preservation. This fort is truly an identity of the 'Gulabi Sheher'! Jaipur trip can't be complete without a visit to Amber fort.

Incredible, beautiful and well maintained, Huge in area and would take whole day to see the fort. The fort amazing example of a well maintained fort. Has a very detailed explanation of how the fort was built, its significance along with explanation on each. The view you get of the fort when you are about to reach the fort is quite mesmerizing. Amber Fort needs maintenance, Although it is declared as a world heritage site. Such as restoration of painting, walls, etc, so that it can attract more visitors. They need to maintain parking facilities at the front and rear gates.

City of forts and palaces - Jaipur. When you are driving from Delhi Amber Palace is the 1st palace you will encounter. This Palace is located 10-12km form city on the outskirts overlooking the city. Its a very huge palace from where you can see the walls on the hills. We visited here around 15:00 in April. It was very hot. If you are reaching in noon do take a water bottle and a cap. Don't get in touch with any local guide as they give wrong information's. We can take our own vehicle up and till the entrance of the palace. This palace needs an entry ticket of 50/- per head (Both offline & online available). Also, night light show is available and it starts from 19:00 till 22:00 with 21:30 as last entry. Fort is beautiful. It gets really hot during the summer so recommended travel is in slightly cooler days. There is no wheel chair accessibility to the top. There are folks asking for elephant rides near the ticket counter, it’s a humble request do not do it - since the elephants are poorly treated and sometimes they scam you by taking you nowhere.

One of the best places in Jaipur. The fort is simple and neat. The fort's narrow route through the Amer Village is a unique experience that comes along. Note: Opting out a guide will be a good add-on. (There is a "light Show" after 7:30pm, but i missed it.)

A must see in Jaipur. It’s grandeur and beauty is well maintained and the view from the palace is awesome. Be prepared for a long walk. I recommend visiting early in the morning, with a guide and possibly during off season. We were told that during peak season the wait time for vehicles to climb the hill is 2 hours or more. Hawa Mahal is the heart of Jaipur city.... Beautiful, symmetric and mesmerizing !!! Are situated in the main city and is thus generally crowded, especially in the evening. It has been a year since I visit at this palace. And I'm still in a hangover of this beautiful palace. The entry fees is rupees 50 per head. And you are allowed cameras and mobile phones and all your bags with you. On entering the palace you see a beautiful fountain which is a good place for taking pictures as the palace will also be visible in the background. Then you just have to climb and keep climbing the stairs tell you reach the top. From there you have the citi's aerial view. There are multi coloured glasses on the window covers that looks really beautiful. In the place is usually windy on the top. A few things that I found amazing about this palace are mini windows on the gallery, the symmetry of the palace, colourful windows and the city view from the top. Really had a great experience visiting this palace "The Heart of the Pink City- Jaipur" !!

Hawa Mahal is the magnificent architecture built from red and pink sandstone and is on the edge of the City Palace. It is also known as Palace of the Winds and Palace of the Breeze. I loved the colored glass-work because when the sunlight enters, the entire chamber lit beautifully which is an awe moment. I was lucky as I got to the fountain raising and soaring to a great height. Entry fees for Indians is Rs 50 and for Foreigners it's Rs 200. For students it's 25 (just carry your ID Card) and joy the breath taking views from the top of the 12th floor of Hawa Mahal (a must for someone who is not afraid of heights).

Jantar mantar is one of the most important and wonderful monument built by Raja Jai Singh II. There are total 5 Jantar Mantars in India- Jaipur, Delhi, Ujjain, Mathura and Varanasi. But today only functional one is at Jaipur and i have heard that the one in Mathura is demolished. The jantar mantar located in jaipur has 19 instruments. The beauty of this monument is that you can find exact local time with the help of Sun. Hence it is sun based and would jot work during rainy season or in cloudy weather. Astrologically it is important as today also many astrologers visit to find the exact position of nakshatra. In older days this monument used to find local time and rashi and nakshatra of the new born, based on which the kundali was prepared. It even tells the in which sun sign the child is born and it has all 12 sun signs for further predictions. Hence those who follow sun signs, this place is master piece, as i mentioned earlier it is based on sun and it works during day time when sun is there.

This place is design at its best. Functional, aesthetic, simple, beautiful and literally timeless. These ancient instruments to calculate time, sun paths, moon phases including various Zodiacs (raashis)is quite a marvel. Do visit early to avoid crowds and the blaring heat (if visiting in summers). To understand this monument better, a guide is highly recommended. Not sure about their prices as i didn't hire one. Do not miss the small shrine at the east edge of the complex. Nice palace complex in Jaipur with some interesting little exhibits in museums, the armour and weapons one being the highlight. The complex itself has a bunch of ticket options, with the most beautiful areas reserved for an expensive guided experience, so if you want to just look through yourself without a guide you won’t be able to see these nice parts of the place. The basic combined ticket for 700 rupees will let you wander around the different areas and museums of the place which was still nice but it would be good to have an option to see the other parts on your own.

This is one of the MUST visit royal heritages in Jaipur. Entry fees is 200 rupees for resident indians, guide charges are extra. 2-3 hours are more than sufficient to visit this place including group photographs sessions. There are few galleries where taking photographs is not allowed. Places like photography hall, weapons hall are quite good. There are few shops and restaurants situated inside this place.

It's a must visit if you're in Jaipur. The city palace is so named after the residence of the royal highness. It was built hundreds of years back. There are various types of tickets available to enter it ranging from 300 to 3500 rupees. The 300 rs ticket will give you access to the museum and the outer part of the city palace, the 1500 rs ticket will give you access to the inside of the city palace whereas the 3500 one includes visit to the royal blue coloured palace that you'll find in the pictures. We went with a 300 rupees entry as we were short of time and that only took an easy 3-4 hours with the help of a tour guide. Moreover, if you'll take a guide they'll take you to all the shops and artisans inside so be mindful of what you want to buy and what not to.

Read about it on jaipurtouriam.co.in before hand because upon arrival there will be guides harassing you with all kinds of random information. •Speaking of guides, expect haggling and general annoyance where they will follow you around and urge you to hire them, ofcourse for a fee (500 INR+). In my opinion it is absolutely not worth the money because the information they tell you is often not correct and nothing more than what is already available on blogs/websites and also the plaques put in place for tourists to read. Moreover they hurry you along, skip galleries that tend to take longer and push their own agenda on you by taking you to shops so thay they earn further comission. • City Palace with the 200 INR ticket has 4 Galleries open for view other than the Palace Grounds 1: Armoury 2: Royal Textiles 3: Painting and photographs 4: The royal court. Other than the palace grounds photography is prohibited. • Overall worth visiting for a few hours. There is also a restaurant and cafe inside but due to pandemic and generally poor reviews didn't try them.

Not very crowded even on a weekend. The area is huge. You have cafés restaurants and shops inside. Again could catch a glimpse of live puppet show by the local artists here and pay them as per your will :) You will have to buy tickets to enter inside .

It can only be sighted from far. You can't visit it. The periphery of the lake is beautifully developed, and a lot of street vendors are available there selling Rajasthani crafts, etc. It's a good tourist place to hang out. The mahal is beautiful, but not something to be in awe of.

Best time to visit this place is in the evening. One can not go near or enter this place as this Mahal is located in the middle of the Lake. There is place for the visitors on the bank of the Lake just beside the road to enjoy the view of this place. This can be planned during the visit to Amer fort as this is on the way. Probably a beautiful place of the evening to spend some time in your Jaipur visit.

Seriously delicious food. We were staying at this hotel so ate at the restaurant for all the courses by the end of our stay and was regularly impressed! The menu is so much fun. So many unique dishes and the delicious unique fusion dishes. One of the first dish we ordered was the chicken tikka Marsala tacos and wow they were soo much fun and it really did pack everything in! I think the only tacos element was the shape lol but it was so delicious and fun. For those suffering from the spices their western style courses were also delicious! The spaghetti was really good and the beets with fettuccine sauce was like so amazing. Maybe on of the best fettuccine sauces ever had in a restaurant. The French toasts both stuffed and regular were so perfect. It definitely started the day off right! For lunch we had the small bites, which are not always small 😂 but loved the mezza board, the banana chips, and was very happy to finally try the delicious Chloe bhature. As you can see we tasted a large portion of the menu and I have no doubt that everything else is also spectacular!

This is a must visit location if you are in the area. Food is beautiful and chefs happy to amend dishes based on your spice tolerance. Very reasonably priced and excellent wait staff. Live traditional Indian music was playing when we were there. No issues with paying with international card (UK debit MasterCard). Plenty of choice on the drinks menu with some lovely looking cocktails. Small plates are sizable and I think to share a small plate between two people would be an excellent starter. Would visit again.

Situated very near to a happening place but itself having calm surroundings. Ambience is good, reception is welcoming, decor on each floor is soothing and just apt for providing a good fine dinning experience at a very reasonable cost. Only thing elder people should keep in mind that there is no lift and the restaurant is on 3rd Floor. But worth climbing the stairs. Considering summer visit it was a little hot but the hotel staff made good arrangements with cooler and water sprinklers. Had a wonderful evening at the Peacock restaurant. Beautiful decor and lighting and interesting music that set the mood just right. Menu is eclectic but not overly so and most things have an Indian "twist". We ordered a few small plates to share- the Keralan tacos and garlic chicken kebabs were absolutely delicious.and all with a very reasonable price tag too. This was definitely our favourite meal in Jaipur.

Great place. We just went for food. I feel the staff could have brushed up their serving a little but wasn't that bad. Passing cutlery holding the head, putting down bill and walking away with no eye contact or communication and never asked how the food was. As said, all minor things but it was a slow build up of such things. If they want to become a 5 star place, few things to work on.

Good service, mouth watering food and awesome ambience. This place was the best thing of my Jaipur trip. This is the first time i didn’t felt to eat non veg in an hotel. Their chap was god sent and it was eyes watering spicy. Those who don’t eat spicy food shouldn’t try that chap. Gulab jamun was also good. Ambience was good and food’s taste will lift you up. A must go place of you are in Jaipur.

We had privilege to take lunch here. Voice of singer was good and melodious. Was very keen to respond to requests. Food quality is average considering very high standards being set for Rajasthani food. Good luck for future business

One of best restaurant in the surrounding area, food is good serving staff is well behaved, price is low quantity is a bit lower than average. The best part is the ambiance of this staff, I want to but not giving full five stars due to behaviour of manager.

A sweet place located near City Palace. Live music and a very good ambience. Okay-ish food quality and priced average. Some items were not available when we visited. All in all a good place to dine.

Our Second time, And it's always great to come for an Authentic Rajasthanani palate. Shakil and Sujeet were very good and the service was on point.They even suggested us portions which was very helpful. Very good-mannered guys. Thank you for such a sweet note. We will visit again.

Awesome ambience and food experience at this restaurant in Jaipur. Very near to City palace and Hawa Mahal it offers cuisine of all types. This is a pure veg restaurant and good to go with family and friends. We wanted to taste Rajasthani cuisine and chose the thali. The hotel staff recommend that the thali is good for 3 people and take extra roti if required. The mojito blast was also tasty and very effective for quenching our thirst. Overall a very fine dining experience at Jaipur.

Amazing food and good location. Loved the service and the staff as well. Food was delicious and they are very accommodating. But, the singer there makes everything poor. In the absence of mic, he was literally shouting in every song. Only the instrumentals would have been perfect. One star off due to that.

The ambience is amazing and so is the staff. Our server Afreen took really good care of us. The service is really quick even though it was fully packed. Tried Rajasthani thali here, it was utterly delicious. This review is solely based in Rajasthani thali only. There were 2 different Bati's (in Dal Bati), of which masala bati was tasty. Kadhi was also the good part of it. Remaining dishes were also quite good. sweet, Churma was Awesome 💯 Ambience is good and food experience at this restaurant was quite ok types. Very near to City palace and Hawa Mahal it offers cuisine of all types. This is a pure veg restaurant and good to go with family and friends. Location wise, its situated near govind devji temple and also its a bit hard to locate. Overall a good experience you can find in the heart of Jaipur City.

The rooftop are is closed due to maintenance. However their inside are is really good. Ambience is really casual and the host will make you feel like you are in home. The foods are little expensive. The way they do the food presentation by using different kind of utensils is something fine dining places does. They also have an outdoor and indoor smoking area.

Awesome spot! Very cheap! The service was amazing we had some drinks and managed to see the solar eclipse, they’re currently opening an even higher rooftop which will be ready 10 days from now! Definitely recommend for a nice relaxing environment with friends, family and even partner!

We came here to have some breakfast because we saw the decent opinions but honestly it was a disappointment. Staff is not very welcoming and food was really poor, specially the “french toast”, that was more an omelette toast than a french toast. Cold coffee was alright. Also it was pricy for what we got. 2 cold coffees, 1 pancake and 1 French toast 690 rupees. Expensive for what you get. Also good doesn’t very good. I don’t know about the other food they serve, but definitely wouldn’t recommend for breakfast.

The place was not as expected or you see in the pictures on Google map. The right side looked dull and trees were dry and projector (or tv) was not clean. The left side was nice as shown in the pictures and was good enough. The live music was nice. Food was average based on the price offered but i really loved chicken biryani and drinks. Overall it was nice place to visit (if you sit on the right side).

The egg bhurji and palak paneer were both pretty good. The garlic chapati was good but came with only one piece of bread which was disappointing. The cappuccino was extremely disappointing; tasted very watery and like it came from a machine. The ice cream coffee also did not taste like coffee, just like chocolate milk. The lattes and Vietnamese coffee on their menu were “unavailable.” The greenery and rooftop aspect are nice but the food/drinks are not good enough to warrant coming here.

Nice restaurant at the rooftop to hang out. Indian Food was good, but continental food like white sauce pasta and egg sandwich were amazing.

Close to Zostel. Well this place good during night view and dinner date or party. Staff were responsive. Since we visited during winter time we received blankets. Blankets were clean. Price wise this place is ok. Good taste is good. We asked them immediate cake request which they fulfilled promptly. Happy with service.

Good view, relaxed atmosphere. Great place to relax a bit after sightseeing. Thali and corn soup with chicken was pretty good, the Italian noodles with white sauce not so much. The potato cutler was also good, just a bit too oily. The Two musicians played some music, which is a good sign for a tourist place, which it definitely is.

It's a roof top resturant it has good vibe they play good music you can see Jaigarh Fort from the roof top..Food is decent had the laal mass was expecting it a bit spicer but they tone down the spice level as they usually cater to foreigners so inform them in advance if you want your food spicy...

I must confess that I did not expect food would be so good here. Considering the view from the terrace, I thought it would be a spot made for the visitors in which you pay more for their rent rather than food quality. But it proved me wrong. We enjoyed the food, specially non-veg dishes and curry based were delicious! We visited twice during our stay in Jaipur and it is definitely a must go for dinner, when the sun is coming down. Its very pleasant and beautiful. Special thanks to Ashutosh. ✨ He was very attentive and hard working, taking care of all of the tables on his own. We were extremely pleased with him!

My partner and I had a magical evening at this beautiful restaurant with an amazing view. After a hot day checking out the sights, we enjoyed some drinks on the roof with a lovely breeze as the sun went down with views of the Amber city and City Palace. The markets nearby are safe and interesting with good quality products of all sorts. Special thanks to Ashutosh and Shyam for making our evening as great as possible. They provided some lovely conversation and some great local tips for the area.

A nice restaurant just near zostel. It offers a nice view of the Jaipur. It has a joint bar so don't go there if you some problem from alcohol. The place is neither costlier nor cheap. Food is okayish but it is rhe view for which people go there. They don't have facility to pay with cards, so either use cash or Paytm to make payment.

Had visited long ago and still remember it’s lovely hospitality and very good service and friendly staff. I had ordered cashew in butter masala and it was the first time I had tried out such a dish, it was lovely indeed. The guy supervising was very elegant and friendly

Good ambience, very good staff and really good taste at this place but what I felt on valentine's day dinner is that the seats of the couples needs to be fae way from each other in order to give them a little privacy but when I had the dinner with my wife my seat and the other couple seat are next to each other.

Took my family there- it is very difficult to please my senior citizen parents and boy they loved the food there! So, i am happy that my parents are happy! Besides, Arun from their staff is a delight! Quite eager to help you out and ensures that you have a pleasant time there. The buffet options are limited, I like it that way. They don't have lots of things but all of them are good.

A good option for a fine dine experience with buffet option also. So many items in buffet so everyone could get something according to his taste. Staff is attentive and supportive. Overall a nice experience.
