So much documented history to enjoy and touring the grounds is a fun adventure. Be sure to buy a tram visit to see the additional areas you're interested in. If you visit historical mission control, there are 87 steps to climb up (they have an antiquated elevator that can only hold five people so be prepared for a climb if there's anyone in your party who experience mobility issues). It can get a little hot as well going between areas so bring a fan. Water is 5 dollars and parking costs 10 dollars (you have to access an app using your phone to pay for parking). Have fun binging on space!!!

Great experience. Lots of information and lots of photo ops available. Staff were super knowledgeable which adds to the experience. And some interactive components were available. Tram tours were interesting but maybe not worth the queues under the heat and 15 dollars unless you are really interested in the content. It was dark over some parts of the exhibits but it was good atmosphere. A few things that can be improved. Install misters over the trams. The weather is insanely hot. The queues can also be improved in the morning, was told to leave the queue to collect tickets, only to know that we need to go back into that same queue again after.

My family and I visited the Space Center in Houston and it was great! Staff were courteous and helping and the facilities were very clean! We purchased the City Pass because we were only in the area for Spring break so we used it for other venues. The wait was fast. Literally, never stopped walking through the line until we arrived at purse check and then again to scan the electronic tickets. We went on a Tuesday. We spent all day there and still did not see everything. Get Tram and virtual rides tickets early because they sell out fast. The exhibits were very interesting and kept our 10 year-old daughter engaged. The two virtual rides were awesome. It was as if we were truly in space. Loved it!! We all left with huge smiles on our faces and vowed it was well worth the money and will be on our list to return to.

Very cool place. Plan a two day visit and buy the membership. Definitely purchase your tickets in advance online . Try to see 1-2 tours each day. Pros: - Amazing exhibits - Fee-based and free team tours - updated and modern exhibits - Self-serve food ordering - Low cost membership options - Paid option to have breakfast with a ( retired) automatic. Cons - Very crowded - Bathrooms do not provide toilet seat covers - Gift shop items are pricey - Hot and muggy - pay for parking

A bit crowded but overall amazing experience. Interactive exhibits and tons of NASA goodness for space fanatics. Loved learning about the upcoming Artemis missions. Food was quite good on site but a bit of a learning curve on how to order since it's all done at kiosks. The Mission Control tour stopped working during our tour which was disappointing but cool to see anyhow. We did Breakfast with an Astronaut and it was pretty fun to be able to ask questions. If your kids/family love NASA or space this is definitely must do!

My husband and I had an incredible experience visiting Space Center Houston. From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the fascinating exhibits and interactive displays. The highlight was definitely the chance to see the historic Mission Control Center and learn about the incredible achievements of the space program. Walking through the exhibits showcasing actual spacecraft and equipment used by astronauts was awe-inspiring. The tram tour to NASA’s Johnson Space Center was a definite must-do, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the facilities where astronauts train. The whole experience was educational, inspiring, and left us with a profound appreciation for the achievements of space exploration.

This place is amazing, would recommend coming when it first opens. We got there by 930am and there was a line on a Saturday already. We reserved the blue tram when we got inside and did the tour which was super fun. Some I had little ones doing the blue tram was a better option. Also, I recommend bringing cash. The gift stores credit card machines were not working and we couldn’t get nothing. Next time, we will be more prepared. Wish we could have deep dived every corner but having toddlers it was kinda hard. Pro tip of photos, utilize your panorama setting on your phone. You’ll be able to be in the picture with rockets. Have walking shoes and water on hand. They don’t allow selfie sticks or extra camera set ups.

Visited again after many years. What a great place. So much to do and see. Lots of educational exhibits. Great gift shop. Food cost was really good considering the captive audience. Come for the day. The tram tours fill up so need to book those virtually as soon as you can. It can get crowded.

A last minute decision, but so worth it. Overwhelming amount of information, even for an almost 5hr visit. Well laid out with good amounts of room to view all displays. The Mission Control room tour was very much worth the extra $15 I would definitely recommend a visit here.

Great museum!! Lots to do and look at if you live in the area or close enough the membership is totally worth it. Each special exhibit was an additional cost. The "shows" in the theater are shown on a dome screen sit high up so you don't have to tilt your head up so far we saw the "death of the dinosaurs" I felt it could have been better I most likely won't be paying extra for the theater shows anymore but Ramses exhibition was worth the additional cost. Thursdays have free entrance hours just check their website for details.

Absolutely stellar museum. Honestly, the best natural science museum I have ever gone to. The Paleontology, Fossilized Wood, and Gem exhibits were our favorites; but the entire museum was incredible. The exhibits were large with a plethora to see and learn about. I highly recommend getting there as soon the museum opens if you don't want to be stuck in crowds. We showed up at 9 and didn't encounter any crowds until we went to exit. We will 100% be back!

Along with the Zoo this was the star of the city pass attractions. Negatives are high add an prices for things like the King Tut exhibit which was overshadowed by the included, permanent Egypt Hall. With that out of the way the crowd was much better managed that other city pass attractions and the dinosaurs, and geology sections were awesome along with the Egypt sections. Amazing. Hidden in the back of the second floor is the geology section with some of the most amazing gems and geological structures I have ever seen. And further hidden in the gem vault are some stunning pieces of jewelry. Dinosaurs to gems to mummies, this is a great stop. We ran for three hours and couldn’t see it all. Leave more time.

This museum is amazing! My group ended up spending about 6 hours here and barely scratched the surface of what is available to see. It’s definitely something that could be made into a multi-day event. Every exhibit has interesting things to look at and learn from. I went into every section expecting it to not be nearly as cool as the last and was pleasantly surprised every time when I was wrong! My favorite area of what I had time to see was the gem and natural mineral section. Pressure and time create some amazing things!

Great place to visit. There is so much to see and do for everyone. They have tons of permanent exhibits you get to check out with your ticket (you can go in and out of these exhibits all day so hold on to your ticket). Plus they have fun extra things to check out like the butterfly and the Egyptian exhibits (you do have to pay a little extra for those though still worth it). You can't take in food/drinks but you can leave and come back in.

This place is so big you really need open to close to see it all. So let’s start by free Thursdays. The website is not updated so it’s only free from 5-8pm parking is $30.00 if you park within the parking lot however if you can find street parking or cheaper near I suggest that. Everything in the museum district is close together. Also the up-sale is the little exhibits which we skipped. However the museum is so fun and exciting. It’s for all ages being a stroller for little ones. All the restrooms are clean all the signs were easy to read to navigate a lot of benches to rest. Overall 10/10

It was truly amazing, so many exhibits to see and not enough time to get through all of them. Each exhibit has a cost of its own. I did the Butterfly exhibit, Regular exhibit and the Shark exhibit. The regular exhibit has the Dinosaurs and Egyptian history. It was great to see paleontologists there to answer any questions. The butterfly was very beautiful and loved the interaction with the different species of butterflies. The shark exhibit was great, you get to touch a little shark! I would go back to try the space exhibit.

This museum will always be a hit for me. I love the atmosphere and the amazing customer service. Only advice I give people is to buy your tickets in advance, especially on the weekends because they will sell out for their temporary exhibits. Also the lines on the weekends are huge so be prepared for that. The permanent exhibits are amazing and the food court is okay. We had the pleasure to see a movie in their planetarium called passport to the universe, the experience was lovely and something I definitely recommend if you get a chance to. Overall I always love the experience I get here!

3 stars because PRICES ARE NOT AS ADVERTISED IN PERSON. It went from a $140 trip to $220 real fast. Just for admission. Pricing is very deceiving. In my opinion the “King Tut” exhibit is not worth the money. The hall of Egypt had wayyyy more awesome things and was included in the normal pass. Staff at the food court seemed to hate their jobs and were all rude. We went for our daughters Sweet 16 celebration and she had a good time because of course kids don’t pay attention to all that stuff and that’s all that matters to us. The website says allow 2hrs to explore but that is not nearly enough time if you want to enjoy the place. It definitely is worth going back a second time and spending the whole day there. Maybe we will encounter nicer employees and prices next time.

Have been to so many exhibits here and am just so happy that this place exists. It showcases educational and historical entertainment which is hard to find these days! Great for both kids & adults. They have a neat little café to enjoy some food while waiting for your show, if you're hungry. It can get packed on the weekends, buy your tickets online!

This place is amazing. It has a huge collection of dinosaurs. Huge collection of amazing shells. The Cabinet of Curiosities area was so much fun to explore and the kids loved looking in the drawers etc (though some of the drawers need maintenance). The gems and rocks were quite interesting. And can’t say enough about how detailed and awesome the energy floor was. It covered so many topics from the energy perspective and explained in great detail many of the concepts that most people take for granted. 1 day almost wasn’t enough time to fully experience everything here.

Love every time that I go and visit the butterfly exhibit was recently reopen but theres several exhibits including the newest one king Tut the sharks but the exhibit halls are classic. I also love to view B Baker Planetarium... It's great for dates or if you want to take children. Fun fact every Thursday it's free

Pretty cool place, honestly would give it a 5 star but you have to spend a lot extra when entering to see some of the exhibits and I just am not a big fan of that. The place is very beautiful and well maintained though. Customer service was kinda garbage, definitely recommend on the city pass! The gem room was by far the coolest part of the museum I think.

It’s a great place for anyone to come inside afor a respite from the weather—and a great way to spend the day. The King Tut exhibit was much smaller than expected. Egyptian exhibit (outside King Tut) was more exciting. The regular exhibits are always a delight. Planetarium shows are a good variation and time selection. Three hour parking available nearby. Parking garage is $30 for non-members and $10 for members. Staff everywhere is always so courteous.

We went during the week and our reservation time was for 9:00 am so it was easy to park and get in the zoo. The later you go, parking becomes a nightmare, so keep that in mind. We had a great visit. I love that it opens at 9 because it gives the kids and I time to enjoy the zoo before it’s lunch and nap time. We were lucky and the animals were out and about that day. The other guests there were respectful or space and taking turns. Some people wore masks, some did not. The only place I was nervous about the closeness was in the reptile house, so we hurried through and continued seeing the animals that are outside. I do wish there were more bathrooms along the way. Seeing the zoo with 2 little ones, someone always has to use the bathroom, ALWAYS. It was a great trip to the zoo. I know we could have easily spent more time there.

It was our first time visiting here. It was such a great zoo. Plenty of shade. The water pond in the middle of the zoo when you walked in was beautiful. We got to see the new exhibit. It was awesome! We rented one of the motorized wheelchairs for my mom. It was like $45 I think for the day. It had a canopy and basket for items. It was my moms first timing using a motorized one and she loved it. My family loved this zoo. We bought water bottles here for $5 each and then refilled them with the refill stations. We would love to visit again if we get the chance.

The 1st Tuesday of the month is FREE DAY! My friends and I were lucky to snag some tickets and enjoy a wonderful day of exploration at the zoo. First off the restrooms here are so CLEAN. Thank you. I'm always scared to use public restrooms in tourist spots but they do such a good job of keeping this zoo sanitary. Tons of families, couples, and groups of friends viewing the animals. Most animals had a buddy in their enclosure so it was nice to see the efforts they put in the make sure the animals aren't alone. Very easy to navigate with the maps and arrows all over the park. Tons of restrooms and free water refill. It's nice they let you bring outside food and drinks as well as a cooler! We finished the zoo in about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Perfect amount of time and lots of shaded areas as well as indoor AC viewing. Lovely little zoo. I'd bring friends and family here!

The Houston zoo is a very nice zoo. We've been going since children and all the updates they've done over the years definitely add to the experience. It's always clean and tidy with great locations for snacks and beverages. The staff and keepers are all awesome and very knowledgeable of their respective exhibits. There are also a ton of volunteers here too which is awesome. We've recently decided to get a membership because it's really nice to just be able to pop in any time you like for a stroll. It's like a stroll in the park but full of lovely and exotic animals. I used to love seeing the familiar white alligator in the reptile exhibit but they've since relocated him to a nature reserve south of Houston. The zoo can get really busy on the weekends and I would highly recommend getting here before 10am otherwise you'll be driving circles trying to find a parking spot.

BOO ZOO! One of our favorite times of year to visit the zoo. Great experience for the family as always. Parking was not awful today but I will say the last 5 times we’ve tried to go on Friday or Saturday we haven’t found a parking spot. Definitely would recommend going during the week and earlier in the day if at all possible. But once you get inside it’s a really great zoo! Tons of updates have happened since we’ve moved here nearly 10 years ago and I feel like each time we go there are always improvements happening to make the zoo even better!

Be careful, it may be too hot and humid to visit during the summer as we did, but the experience itself was pretty good. I am an optimist, so I just imagined being on a safari in the jungles or something 🤣 But I would not recommend going there during excessive heat; otherwise, you will have a mixed experience of joy and suffering. Be prepared to pay extra 9 bucks for three salad leaves if you want to get close to the giraffes 😬 Not all animals were there, especially some big cats and rhinos. But maybe they are just smarter than us and stayed in the shadows 😅 Overall, it was a very cool and educational journey!

I love the zoo. Their newest exhibit, the Galapagos Islands, is awesome. I go to the zoo frequently, I go both with friends and alone. I enjoy the exhibits greatly, my favorite is the primates. I can sit for a very long time watching them, and I believe that watching these animals has made me care about them/their natural habitats more. Some animal exhibits, notably the older ones, are less fun to look at. The big cats, like the tiger, are in pretty small spaces and end up pacing back and forth endlessly. The seals were in a container like this, without a lot of space, but they were recently moved to a fantastic space with the creation of the Galapagos exhibit. The Houston zoo is pretty good at keeping the animals in healthy environments, and I see them constantly working to make things better for the animals. The employees are very kind and many will stop and talk to me at length about the history or preferences of animals in the zoo. I love the big pretzels they sell at the zoo, even though they are $8.

I LOVE this Zoo! The membership price is so worth it if you live in Houston or the burbs. Two visits and you’ve already paid for the memberships- totally a steal! The exhibits are well done. The animals are in very beautiful habitats and that makes me happy. The staff really takes care of them. Their entire motto is “See Them. Save Them” and I love that they really work to protect and save all of these beautiful creatures. In December they do Houston Zoo Lights and it’s phenomenal! The weather is usually very enjoyable and the lights are spectacular. They even have photos with Santa which is super cute. My one piece of advice is GO EARLY. Parking gets insane on the weekends and you can spend 45 minutes trying to park. Also, bring a stroller! It’s a ton of walking! If you go in summer, bring lots of water, snacks and even a fan! You will love going here!

What a terrific zoo! The main reason for yesterday's visit was to see the new Galapagos Island exhibit and it did not disappoint! It was amazing and we got to hear them talk about the sea lions and watch them get treats. We also heard about the exhibit itself and all the features it has. Beyond the sea lion pool was a wonderful exhibit of other island wildlife. So much fun to wander through and see the other animals and sea life. The rest of the zoo is also a winner! Not only are the exhibits very well done, but there is plenty of seating to relax and just enjoy the environment. The primates, elephants, giraffes, and birds were my favorite. The landscaping adds to the overall feel. Well done!

I always love going here! There's so much to see! I also love how they're adding new stuff and fixing things. They added the underground seal exhibit. Which kind of scared me because being under the water made me feel like I was drowning! But that's not a bad thing, I'm just scared of water haha. It was so cool seeing the seals swim above you! This is a perfect place to bring family or friends or just yourself. The workers are always willing to help and on a weekday it's not as busy as it would be on the weekend. There are plenty of bathrooms with air conditioning. And there's a lot of different places you can refill a bottle of water. However, I wish the refill of water areas had actually cooled cold water but at least they're available for free. One of my favorite parts is near the petting zoo, there's this silly cow there that loves to have its neck pet! The only thing I don't really care about the zoo is definitely the drive there, but that's not the zoo's fault. Sometimes parking can be a little difficult. Other than that this is a perfect place to go!

Over all pretty good experience but definitely could use some water sprayers and stronger fans Getting the city pass would be the only way to come here and they still can have issues trying to check in with those too so just a fyi. And if it's too hot all the cats won't be available and other animals and no warnings when you enter the zoo. The sea lions where entertainment but no good shade and there was only two out of nine out during my visit.

It was Labor Day weekend when we visited this zoo. It was a super hot day so like the humans, the animals probably were trying to get some relief too, so many of the animals were not as active. Best to go early in the morning… bring an umbrella for shade and a portable fan. I like that there are many indoor exhibits peppered throughout the zoo to get some air conditioning relief! Lol. We loved the Galapagos exhibit. Overall it was a nice zoo. Easy to redeem Houston city pass. My only suggestion, the flow of the zoo was at times confusing to navigate without a map. Clearer signage would be helpful in certain parts. Would love to visit in the fall during the cooler months.

For this game the roof was closed, but even then there is a large window that lets in plenty of natural light. Overall the stadium was easy to navigate, the staff was friendly and helpful when I had questions. It was $1 hit dog night on Tuesdays and they were excellent. These were not a discount version of a hot dog the meat was plump with a nice "snap" when I bit into it and the buns were very good. Overall this was a great experience at the ballpark and to top it off the 'Stros won!

Let's Go Astros!!! Parking always sucks and is very expensive. But it's a gazillion people to try to accommodate. Good is ridiculous 🙄--$30 for a burger, fry and drink . So come prepared to spend money 💰 but enjoy a good game. The staff are usually welcoming and friendly.

We came here to watch an Astros game vs Red Sox. Our experience was wonderful. If you don’t mind to walk you can save some money parking a few blocks far from the stadium, the area is nice and safe. Bring only small bags because big ones are not allowed. They check on them on the entrance but in my opinion staff is professional doing this revision. We came on Dogs Night and it was a good deal, but the line is too long, so, its better arrive early to avoid missing part of the game. They also have self-check out for beer and that makes it faster than in a normal stand. Food and beverages are pricey but it is normal in this kind of venues. The stadium is wonderful with AC to avoid the outside heat. Sittings are a little tight. And ambiance is healthy with a lot of families and friends just trying to spend a good quality time. Definitely a good option to spend a warm evening in Houston.

If you are a baseball fan and you love the outdoors you have to come to minute Maid Park. The Astros are awesome watch and experience the moments. The stadium is phenomenal. Even better take a look at the Suites and see how they throw down

My husband and I went to a concert at Minute Maid Park, tonight. The facilities were relatively clean and well-maintained, especially considering the vast numbers of people in the stadium. The restrooms were stocked. That's where my good impression ends. (I am not reviewing the music performed during the concert at Minute Maid Park, which was excellent.) At the concert, people (like hubby and I) who were supposed to be sitting in chairs on the floor were told by Minute Maid Park employees that they were sold seats that didn't exist by Live Nation. The seating situation was a big mess all night, and us patrons were left to work it out between ourselves. Food and drinks were available, if we wanted to climb the stairs to the main concourse from our seats on the floor, for extremely high prices for average quality refreshments, like a double Crown and Coke (with two measured shots) for $38.00 and a (non-breakable-bottled beer for $16.00 plus tax and tip. Parking was available, in the Minute Maid Park parking lots immediately adjacent to the stadium for $65.00 and $70.00, with the much lower normal parking rates clearly displayed also. The exorbitant prices left a lingering feeling that Minute Maid Park was gouging us. The lack of concern, by Minute Maid Park employees, that we had been sold tickets to seats that did not exist and which had also been consistently numbered incorrectly by other Minute Maid Park employees, further reinforced the feeling that Minute Maid Park views the people attending events in its stadium as sheep to be fleeced rather than as valued customers. On our way out of the concert, a Minute Maid Park employee and a very drunk concert attendee were physically fighting, over where the intoxicated man should walk. It was a downer end to an already stressful concert experience.

This park is pretty awesome. Service dog compliant, friendly staff, and great sports environment. Especially fond the mega screen clarity at the feet of the park. The seats are mostly comfortable, although the temperature in the arena isn't actually cool. Rather on the tepid side . People spacing is cramped, but I guess it is what is to be expected at a venue like this.

Haven't found a terrible seat here yet. Been to multiple games and have sat all around the field. Prices are very affordable. I've seen tickets as low as 29 dollars so affordable for any budget

August 2023: It’s always fun to get a chance to see my Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park in person. This stadium may have some age but proved to be a timeless design and been duplicated for good reasons. The concourse areas has plenty of food and drink options, team stores, team history memorabilia, and bars. Every year there seems to be something new giving this place a fresh look. This night saw them play against the Los Angeles Angels and I sat in the Honda Club Level. I noticed from the last time I was in here this place has been completely renovated with upgraded food options, new decor, and team store, but still has that luxurious atmosphere from the professional and courteous staff. I had a great site line of the field, perfect view of the giant video screen, and comfortable seats. Some people sit up and just socialize, but was able to tune them out. There’s plenty of small to large parking sports around the ballpark and short walk to the METRORail station. Or like me have a driver take you there and back. Overall it’s a great way to spend part of your day or night having a good time and cheer on the Houston Astros.

Took an “All-Star” tour of the stadium. It was 2 hours and very fun. If you have some spare time in Houston, I would definitely recommend checking it out. It cost $25 and is WELL worth it. Even if you’re not a big baseball fan, you’ll enjoy getting to see this stadium.

Minute Maid was great. It helps to have a winning team which in turn promotes a fun atmosphere with the die hard fans. The amenities were good. The only thing I would complain about not pick is the fact that when was there (vs. Oakland A’s) they ran out of regular size soft drinks so you “have to” buy a souvenir-size soft drink. I don’t think they should charge you souvenir-size when they only had been open for ~2 hours. They should charge you regular price. I know they would be losing money, but it’s the classy thing to do and more times than it hasn’t, has been done to me. It’s just good business. Other than that, it was a great experience all around.

I have to give this place 4 stars. I was here for 2 games vs phi and vs sf. I had a great time at a beautiful ballpark. Here is the problem it was perfect weather in Texas that weekend and the roof was closed, I still don’t understand why you have a retractable roof and you never use it. To add insult they opened the roof after the game maybe to air out the fireworks, I’m not sure. By the time I made it out of the stadium the roof was completely open. Great atmosphere. This was one of the most merch’d out games I’ve ever been too, I was one of the only people there not wearing Astros gear. I also like the tradition of singing Deep In The Heart of Texas after the 7 inning stretch.

Great ball park!!! Very family oriented!!! You feel safe here security is great as well as the guest services !! For concerts or baseball games this is the best stadium in Houston !!!

We took advantage of going to the museum on Thursday and I realized that every Thursday is totally free, something very good for the family and large groups of friends. We park the parking lot of the museum itself but you also have the opportunity to park on the street (if you are lucky) The entrance was quite fast, no queues or waiting. I think that having the tickets already purchased makes access much easier. The place is incredible, everything is organized, clean and quite easy to follow the route. It is an excellent place to meet and enter the world of art and a Excellent idea for a date too.

A nice museum with three buildings connected by the underground passages. My favorite is the modern art building. You can easily spend a whole day here. Some staff near popular light fixtures seem less chill, but overall great experience here. They also have a cute cafe.

Twas a beautiful museum! Many cultural arts were exhibited from all over the world! Definitely a great experience to see what cultures each country shared. I got to go there on Thursday night so I got a free entrance! I love that they do those give back to the community! A must go there especially if you like arts! Cheers 🥂

Best place to go if you are interested in art! It includes 3 buildings with 3 different topic, they are connected by elevators, so you don't have to worry about crossing the road. It took us few minutes to find parking garage, but it's all good. Make sure you are wearing a comfortable shoes, otherwise you will have hard time to finish all 3 buildings, they all have elevators, but every level is pretty big, so you will have some walking.

This place is all things fine. But they are strict with trying use any type of tripod or selfie stick. The tickets were free and the time was not limited. Parking was only 10 dollars and if it wasn’t raining I would just walked to the other museums everything is close together. So this place is so big and is connected by tunnels. They have staff all over to help and direct you. A lot of sitting places. The food at the cafe is standard little high but not bad. All of the exhibits were so nice.

This is a fascinating museum. It has three buildings connected by tunnels with different kinds of art installations. The video screen installation by the main entrance was fascinating to the young and old alike. It is well worth the visit. I could have spent far more time here. The museum map does show what installations are in which galleries, so if you have a particular interest you can get there more efficiently.

Loved the atmosphere at Taste of Texas! Great for any special occasion, and the staff is professional and friendly. The steaks here are some of the best I've ever had - definitely make reservations, because the wait could be up to 2 hours otherwise. You get to choose your own steak, and mine (the t-bone) was cooked perfectly. The salad bar is included with any steak order, and it's got a great fresh and varied selection. Definitely worth trying if you're in the area!

First time at this restaurant and I was blown away by the whole experience. Loved it. From Texas history to the Chopping Block in the back where you can pick out your steak. Salad Bar was 1st class. Steak was melt in your mouth. Unbelievable. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is huge and a mix of casual and dressed up customers. The service and hospitality is great. The owner Mrs. Nina Hendee stopped at each table and said hello to us and thanked us for coming. I thought that was really nice and sweet. When she wasn’t talking to the guests she was clearing and setting tables! She seems like a wonderful person. The food was delicious and came nice and hot. The salad bar is nice, but I would prefer a plated salad and bread brought to the table.

When I requested that my husband take me to the most Texas restaurant in Houston, this is where we ended up. I was originally anticipating an amped up version Texas Roadhouse but Taste of Texas turned out to be even better than anticipated. The steak - so many cuts to choose from and cooked to perfection! You can choose your own steak which was really fun. The meat was super juicy and tender. Our server suggested we get butter on the side so we can try all the flavors with our steak and we very much enjoyed that as well! Salad bar is top notch, probably the best salad bar outside of a Brazilian steak house The service was stellar, super attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Our beverages were always filled at the right time and each course was paced perfectly. The decor was very on theme, genuine Texas artifacts adorn the walls and the whole space feels like an upscale country tavern. Highly recommend for fellow meat eaters who enjoy classic steakhouses!

The salad bar was awesome and had a large variety of fresh options to add. All the drinks ordered were very good. Large busy restaurant with indoor and outdoor waiting areas. The ribeye steak was good but not great. Had really high expectations for the steak. Would come back since the service was great and will try a different cut of meat next time!

My Wife and I met our friends to celebrate the ladies' retirement on a Thursday evening. The Texas ambience and large room feel is impressive. We were immediately seated and shortly greeted by our waitress, Allison. After ordering our food, we had a trip to the salad bar, which had a great selection of fresh lettuce and many accessories. About midway through our salad, the waitress was back and in just the right amount of time our dinner was on the table. We all enjoyed our food, but this was the Best NY Strip steak I've had in a long time, and We were visited by the manager. O and the desert tray is important not to pass up. They did a great job with the salad bar, the food, the wait staff and the Texas atmosphere and look of the restaurant. We are from Houston and and I know we will be back soon. Don't miss this place! Good experience! Definitely an expensive place to dine, as you should expect from a steakhouse. The server was super nice to guide us through the menu, which quite frankly was a bit confusing for first comers. You get a complementary salad, bread, and a side if you order one of the entrées, otherwise you’d have to add it. Definitely get the salad, which you can make yourself at the salad bar - the sauces are so yummy. The salad was one of my favourite parts! We got the cowboy steak, a bone in 24oz rib-eye, and it was great! The server bring you to the fridge and let you choose the piece pre-sealed. Nice to choose it yourself so you can see the cut before. Supposedly they dry age all the steaks they serve, which you kinda can taste, the stronger beef flavour. Yet, it lacked a bit of juiciness in my opinion. I’m used to more juicy rib-eyes and I was expecting that from a place like this. Overall good experience. I’d recommend taking a large stake to share because you’re not going to finish that alone, and perhaps add an extra salad or starter. Recommended! We spent $60/pp.

The cheese bread alone at the salad bar is worth the trip. The steak was also cooked to perfection. Don't forget to try one of the complementary sauces to enhance the flavor of your steak. I ordered the New York strip for its reasonable price and generous size, and I enjoyed it very much. Tip: I highly recommend making a reservation, especially for special occasions like anniversaries or birthdays, weeks in advance.

Taste of Texas is a local favorite. One - for their DELICIOUS steaks, and 2) for their super support for the local US Navy Families. The owners are just awesome people and spirits, and it is reflected in their restaurant, its staff, and its customer service. It is no wonder the lines are out the door. The steaks, the salad bar, the drinks - all top notch!

Great flavorful dishes and good service.

This used to be my favorite stop at the Houston Airport. I recently dropped in for an appetizer and was a little disappointed. I had the shrimp and crab meat cocktail which was plentiful enough but the shrimp and crab were completely overwhelmed by the over abundance of sauce. For the price was definitely not worth it. The service was very good and the staff friendly. I won't be going out of my way to stop by for a quick snack - next time will have to try something more substantial and see how that'll go.

The most important: service was fast and way delicious. I ordered shrimp & catfish fondeaux and I would come back just to try it again, it was amazing and as cheesy as I imagined. I tried traditional shrimp cocktail and it is good as well. I recommend this place.

Went for our anniversary. First time here. Our waitress Mariam was wonderful. She explained how it worked. She made great suggestions for the salad bar, drinks, and even made sure we had specific meats we wanted stop by for us. The entire staff was excellent with their service. The managers also stopped by to chat and check in with us several time. We loved it and can't wait to return.

The food is absolutely amazing! Honestly it's a good place to eat at for a special occasion or if you love steak! I had the tomahawk steak here and it was absolutely delicious! The presentation looks amazing and for desert the cheesecake acai was also amazing, one of the better cheesecakes I've had in a while!

When we think about celebrations, Fogo De Chão is always our first option and it never disappoints. From the starter to the beautiful desserts the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding! The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. We dined in at the Westheimer location. Service was delightful and very professional thank you to Chris!! Chris was attentive, efficient, happy and polite. He was extremely knowledgeable and makes great recommendations. The service we received was amazing and we will definitely be back again . Thank you for making us feel welcomed and delivering an amazing experience for us.

My husband I have been coming to this location for the past 2 years and it’s always a pleasant experience. One of the reasons the experience is so pleasant is their amazing customer service, Chris is definitely the best at making you feel welcomed and always so attentive with his service. You get a free dessert for your birthday. The servers were a little slow this particular night. We all did the buffet. I didn't try any seafood. Nothing Is well done so do not ask or expect it. It's mostly medium rare meats. The salad bar was good. The drink choices are amazing. The drinks were the highlight of my night. The desert was the second best.

Gave 4 stars as most of the staff was extremely courteous and friendly except one was grumpy and unhappy with serving us the meat. I had add on for one meat for lunch and was told that it was not unlimited. We were told that we will be served 3 slices, twice only. When I had my first serving, the guy only gave me 2 slices and I asked for one more slice. He rudely replied, “Just to remind you, that you can only have 8oz of meat in total.) That was my first serving and I only ate one serving and didn’t even go for the second serving. The way he said it with his tone and body language was not a gentle reminder but was pretty rude. On contrary, we celebrated a birthday and brought a cake. They were very professional by placing the cake on a beautiful cake stand to be served and even lit the candles. The salad spread was worth it. $15 for unlimited salad and $10-$11 for adding limited one choice of meat. It was pretty worth it.

Selected this Brazilian flavor place to celebrate my boy’s birthday. Despite making a reservation two days in advance due to a large group, we still had to wait for about 25 minutes. The front desk didn't offer any explanation or apology, making it seem like this situation is a common occurrence for other customers too. My server was nice, she recommended drinks and beverages attentively, which were delicious! The salad bar had fewer options compared to other locations, but it was sufficient for me, with fresh vegetables and authentic European flavors. Onto the main dinner, the various grilled meats were quite average, and the steaks lacked tenderness and melt-in-the-mouth texture. The pork ribs were really bad , having a strong fishy taste and being tough to chew, which left an awkward situation of leftovers on the plate. Please pay attention, if you see leftovers on a customer's plate, your first thought should be about the food's taste rather than other issues. The table behind us is quite noisy, frequently bursting into loud laughter, seemingly oblivious to the comfort of other customers.

My husband and I often come here for our anniversary. Always love the experience, highly recommend lamb chops, picanha and garlic butter steak(forgot the cut of meat); and Brazilian Lemonade. Salad bar has variety of options to choose from. We also received complimentary dessert for our anniversary. I noticed the price has gone up though. $39 on recent ad has some exclusions, it’s not for full experience, would recommend to check with host/hostess first.

Definitely the nicest Brazilian steakhouse around. Food is always fantastic and the prices are high granted but it’s well worth what you pay for. Have come here a few times for anniversaries and other occasions and it’s always a pleasurable experience. The valet parking is nice as well. Overall a lovely restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Huge Fogo de Chao fan...let me get that out of the way first. Have been in Houston for four years and had never been to this one. We used weekend getaways to go back to Dallas as fun date nights and would continue to visit the location in Dallas. Finally had an opportunity to go with several of my friends and it did not disappoint. The location was very well kept and parking lot was in amazing condition. Valet and door greeters were more than accommodating. Made sure all the gentlemen were addressed and the ladies were treated well as they entered. Once seated we were provided 5 star service throughout. Allow the cuts if meat were done exactly as requested and when I put In a request for Lamb it came out as if it had been prepared for the leader of a first world country...it was that good. All the vegetables and side dishes at the table were fresh and well made. No one at our table went with an empty glass regardless of what they were drinking and the servers were nice. I had put off going to this site because of the location and now with that obstacle removed you can rest assured we will be hitting the H-Town location!!

I did not dress up but I felt like I should have! This place is pretty fancy, but laid back at the same time. The guys walking around with the meats were very nice and when we were ready for more, they weren't more than a few minutes from bringing another round of meat to the table. The key lime pie was amazing, one of the best I've had

If you like lamb then this is the place for you. I'm allergic to a lot of foods but I can eat a lot of lamb and mint jelly. This place has been a staple for me ever since I was a kid. I have loved eating here. This place is great for the family If you're willing to splurge a little bit on the budget. The facility used to be very exclusive but it has opened up a lot and went through a bit of a lull during COVID but it has bounced back in a very major way and I've been very happy with the changes they have made to the facility.

I absolutely love coming to this place! The food is consistently fantastic, especially the variety of meats and the mouthwatering fried cheese with honey. I also appreciate that they offer non-alcoholic drinks, and my personal favorite is the passion fruit caipirinha cocktail.

Really nice vibes, definitely reminds you of the classic New York restaurant. There's a ton of wall art pieces and pictures of famous people who have visited the place, including Shaq. The portions are MASSIVE. I highly recommend you come here with a very empty stomach. The burger I got was at least 6 inches thick - the menu was so large that I had to hold it like a newspaper. Waiters are very nice, and the food is very good. Prices are around $20-25, but I think it makes sense given how large the portions are. 10/10

My first and only (so far) Kenny & Ziggy's experience came from a take out order and OMG!!! I had the pastrami sandwich that came with two free pickles, cole slaw, and the spicy mustard was the perfect condiment. The sandwich was PURE PERFECTION, with ample amounts of pastrami, and the carrot cake portion was HUGE and very delicious as well (my daughter had the red velvet). The soda was recommended to my son in law and I must say that it was the best cherry soda that I've ever had; it literally tastes like an ice cream float, so if I had to rate Kenny & Ziggy's, I'll give them an easy 10 especially after hearing about how nice the staff was.

We went here on a recommendation from a native East-coaster and was totally worth the visit! Both the menus and sandwiches are taller than a toddler. Endless selection of classic dishes. Deli sandwiches are stacked high with fantastic house meats. Every dish that came out looked amazing! Will need to return on our next visit to Houston to try their breakfast! Be prepared for a wait on weekends, as this place is popular.

Went for lunch, the place was packed, but we got waited on quickly and food came out in less than 15 minutes, very impressive. I ordered the the “Reubenesque Hot Dog”. It had corned beef, sauerkraut and thousand island dressing on it, I had to unhinge my jaw to take a bite of it, finally went with a fork and knife. It was delicious and the fries that came with it were hot and cooked perfectly. The pastry cabinet is full of lots of delicious treats and I always leave with a bag full. The menu is extensive and will take you a while to go thru your first time there, from soups, to salads, to burgers, hotdogs and sandwiches piled high with your choice of deli meats.

This is one of our favorite place to dine when we want sandwiches. They never disappointed us. There are so many menu items, it's ridiculous. You will find something that you would want. I always get the #16 challah French toast loaded with turkey, ham, and swiss cheese, with a side of strawberry sauce for dipping and maple syrup as well. Oh, this is four servings for me. I could only eat half of a half (1/4). It's great as left over too, heat it up in the microwave or air fryer. Their sweet potatoes fries are delicious too.

the waiters were so attentive and nice! I ordered a pastrami sandwich with fries and the sandwich was a great size. I ate half and took the rest home. my boyfriend had the chicken sandwich and gave me a bite it was so yummy and stacked. he couldn’t finish either and usually he finishes everything. the portions are great. we had a side of coleslaw and that was yummy too. overall a great dining experience.

I've been coming here for 10 years now. I still remember the first time I had the Pastrami sandwich, amazing! Kenny & Ziggy's is one of the best Deli's nationwide. the pastrami sandwich or the no.1 must try for the first time... the cakes are delicious, Texas portions, though The Shewarma didn't make it for me unfortunately

Attended a friend's birthday party here on a Friday evening. A party of 10. The food was all delicious. We all had steaks and they were all cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful with the exception of one. As one of the guests in the party proceeded to explain that her steak was overcooked, the waiter grabbed her plate, without a word. Interrupting her in the process. We all thought that to be extremely rude. Service was prompt to the point that we felt a little rushed. Our waiter was very hurried, which I can understand when you're trying to attend to a large table but he also needs to remember that people come there to relax and unwind and not feel like they are just a number to be served as quickly as possible in order to get in and out. If you have a large party, all members of the party are required to spend a minimum of $80.00 per person, which I thought was peculiar but whatever. The one thing that we did not care for at all and would keep us from coming back here as a large party is the fact that they will not split up a check. This is a minor convenience for the restaurant but it is a huge inconvenience for the customer. We all had to bring cash and then spend 30 minutes at the end of the meal trying to figure out how much each person owed which is not what you want to be doing when trying to relax and enjoy your evening.

Tonight was our first dining experience here and it was phenomenal! All of our dishes were 5 star, and the filet was truly the best I’ve ever had. The crab cake appetizer is also a MUST! My husband was blown away at the food and the service (which is HUGE because he frequents high-end restaurants), and we both can’t wait to come back. Our server Brent went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and special. It was also great to see the staff smiling and not hidden behind masks. We had an amazing experience!

My experience was through a dinner party. Everything I had was cooked and prepared to exceptional perfection! The staff was exemplary! I have to honestly say, I have never had a crab cake cooked and garnished to such perfection. All my food was at the correct temperature and tenderness. Excellent experience! Wonderful venue!

I've been looking forward to trying out this place and was glad to finally get here. The atmosphere was intimate and inviting. You notice that the place is huge, yet when you are seated, you feel as if no one can see you. That's the ideal date atmosphere. The drinks were tasty and strong, something that only happens when I prepare my own drinks. For appetizers, we had crab cake and maple glazed quail. For entree, we had shrimp scampi and NY strip along with mac/cheese, mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach. The crab cake was light on seasoning and texture. The quail was ridiculously amazing! The scampi was top notch, the steak(medium) was prepared with little seasoning. I usually like it without sauce but their peppercorn sauce was made by Jesus, so it was beyond amazing! The sides were also lightly seasoned. I'm not a huge fan of light seasoning unless accompanied by great texture. So know what you like before ordering. I was still satisfied with the food. I'm just splitting hairs at this point. Be prepared to spend a pretty penny though.

My son chose to celebrate his birthday here as he has in the past. Waiter was fabulous, meal was wonderful as well as music and atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Came for the Chef series dinner. Food was amazing! Only complaint is thatthe steak was too well done. Should be medium rare when serving a group. Otherwise, just an amazing experience, as was before!

The food and drinks were stellar. One of the best steakhouses I’ve visited food wise. The mashed potatoes were heavy and thick. The steak had a perfect crust. The mushrooms were to die for. All drinks were beautifully made. The lobster bisque was less creamy than I’m used to, but had quite a few chunks of lobster. Service- reservation was for a birthday. No mention of the birthday was made by server or by hostess. We weren’t asked if we’d like dessert, the bill was brought to us right after dinner was cleared. We were disappointed in that respect. We thought service could have been better for that high of a price point; such as cleaning crumbs off table top between meals.
