Fantastic mini land! The level of detail and small surprises everywhere is astounding! You could definitely spend a whole day and just discover new things. You can even have a look at their workshop where they paint and assemble everything. Be sure to buy tickets and book well in advance because it's a hot spot in Hamburg with many visitors. Well worth a visit.

I had an unforgettable visit to Miniature Wunderland in Hamburg last weekend! This place offers a truly unique experience with meticulously detailed miniatures representing various cities worldwide, predominantly European ones. The highlight for me was the intricate train networks and the miniature airport with planes taking off and landing. It was a bit crowded, but the 20 euro adult ticket was worth every penny. The presence of miniature shops, a food court, and restroom facilities made the visit even more convenient. Miniature Wunderland is a must-see attraction for anyone in Hamburg!

This place is truly a marvel, even if you're not a model making fan. All the models are crafted with exceptional detail and they're full of buttons for the whole visiting experience to turn from passive to interactive at will. On the other side, the place feels very touristy, with souvenir shops packed with unrelated stuff, and a "restaurant" too. Too much people can ruin your experience, and a Saturday evening would not be the perfect day to be there.

Honestly, I think adults enjoy more than kids, as we can appreciate more the details... but it is a nice place for all ages. It is a must in Hamburg for sure! Better to buy the tickets in advance.

Just wow !!! It's an amazing museum. So much to see and be amazed. We spent around 4 hours seeing all the models. The best was the airport and airplane model. It's wonderful place to get kids and even the old ones enjoy the museum. There are many different models. Buying tickets in advance is highly recommended. There is a restaurant as well in the museum. Breakfast and lunch options were good. I recommend booking tickets for the morning slot so that you have enough time to explore the whole museum.

Spent 3,5 hours in the museum and planning to go again. Super interesting, there are many cute and funny episodes. At the evening there were very many people. Highly recommend to take a camera with good zoom.

Parking is very restrictive in this area so you are better parking away and walking to the place. The cafe served really nice food and all the staff were polite. The models themselves were very impressive especially with how they interlink. The railway control room is also very impressive.

I had high expectations. Thought the models would be larger. They are h0 scale, so 1:87 The models and figures are mind blowing. The detailed models of structures and landscapes around the world are magnificent. By gazing at the tremendous level of detail one gets a true sense of the scale of human activity on earth. The scale and vastness of our environmental impact. One could spend all day there. Amazzzing. Will definitely go back.

Absolutely astonishing, there’s a million adjectives I could say about this place and I can’t seem to find a word for this masterpiece. The first sections were gorgeous the rooms are air-conditioned and that but also the details of every single man in the huge miniature model of Hamburg,Switzerland,Austria and the alps is living. I can visually guess that about 89 percent of all models is movable. Every aspect of the model including underground and above in the sky is shown in full detail. The posters for example are always made in local languages going with the theme. The most outstanding part for me was the airport (since I am a huge avgeek myself) the details as I can see is stringent to a almost horrible level. The airplanes are just so lively as if they were real. Almost every model plane can taxi by itself and a lot of them can even takeoff and land by them self even with features such as gear-tilt included. There’s also the airbus beluga, Junker 52, Boeing 777-300 ER etc. I would say that the this place is really really really worth your visit because you can feel the heart of the builders, you can feel that they build for the fun, not for the money! Please, if you every happened to read this. Go to Hamburg and visit this place. Bucket-list worthy!

Every time I am in Hamburg I visit this place, and it never fails to impress me. There are always some new details I get go notice, or completely new set-ups to explore (like South America this time, Monaco is now work in progress). Make sure to buy the ticket in advance and there is almost no waiting time. Also, make sure to devote enough time, as you can easily spend here whole day! ✨

Great museum! We spent over 5 hours on our visit, and it felt short. The model trains, cars, boats, and airplanes are all fantastic, and the attention to detail is second to none. All the little easter eggs are fun to find! Highly recommend!

It’s beautiful, it’s mesmerizing, you’d have to spend at least two full days there to discover most of the little details. I’ve been here at least 8 times, and I keep finding new things every single time. However, the place is always completely filled with people, no matter what day it is. I HIGHLY recommend purchasing your tickets online at least one week before, to have a chance at getting in at a normal time. Unless of course you want to stand in a queue for 5 hours, not gonna judge that.

Amazing 🤩 has been on my bucket list for many many years, I did 2 back stage tours. In total I spent about 10 hours here! And I'm sure there were lots of little details I still didn't see. The food in the diner is very reasonably priced and is large servings! Overall very satisfied. This place is amazing.

What a great view of the city. It's next to the exit of the Elben tunnel. You can have a baverage or snack from one of the two sellers here. Being there with my friend during last Eastern. We've met local fellow here and we chat a little about living in this city. It was definitely the best piece of the Hamburg taste.

Or was a unique experience walking 450meters under the sea level in the tunnel originally constructed in 1911😍. Going up and down in such huge lifts is cool😇. The view of the port on Elbe on the other side of the tunnel is just wow. 😘

The better part of visiting the Alte Elb tunnel. There is food, beverage, places to sit and enjoy the view of Elbe and Hamburg.

Nice place to get a good view of the harbour, very close to the Elbtunnel. Go there when the weather is clear.

The highlight of this trip is not the viewpoint but the tunnel itself. The viewpoint to Elbe tiver has great scenery though. This reminds me to Bosphorus in Istanbul, similar view but Elbe river connected to the port which have more bigger ships and cruises. I think the port is the one connected to Stavanger and Bergen.

Is an interesting visit, after the tunel you have the view from the other side of the Elbe river. I recomend doing it during spring or summer though. It can be quite windy

We visited the church after the observation deck but almost as an afterthought. We didn't go into the crypts sadly but the church was superb. It is relatively modern (just over a hundred years old) and the inside is bright and airy. We spent about twenty minutes listening to the organ recitals and it was lovely to see a church that is actually in use, rather than being just a museum. The crypts were €6 or an extra €2 if you do the tower trip.

As we had just arrived after a long flight. We opted out of taking the stairs and took the little elevator instead. It Was a very interesting ride. The views from the top are wonderful and you can really get a feel for the lay of the land. If you have sensitive ears. Cover them on the quarter hour and hour the bells are loud.

A beautiful historic and old church. Visitors can take the elevator to the top and it is worth the trip. The view around Hamburg and the Hamburg Port is just stunning. The interior of the church is simply beautifully built and peaceful.

Lovely church that's open to the public to stroll in and out freely. There is a crypt underground that has some pieces freely available to view with a paid exhibition beyond. The chapel is impressive, particularly the chancel and apse. Worth a visit and only a short stroll from the Harbour.

Beautiful cathedral located in the city centre. Very rich design features and a magnificent organ. I recommend visiting during the day to avoid large crowds. One thing to note, is that unlike the churches in Paris, you are not charged an entrance fee to tour the inside of Hamburg churches. There are tickets for sale if you wish to climb the clock tower.

Beautiful building, definitely worth seeing. The 8 euros to visit the viewing platform at the top of the tower is absolutely worth it. Amazing views, completely unrestricted unlike the other tower. If you are in hamburg, do this.

I haven’t gone to the top of the tower yet since it was raining and cold (so I don’t want to get wet), but the church itself already makes me feel content and relieved that I’ve decided to pay a visit. Even more, the pianist were playing their piece! It makes the atmosphere even more thrilling and ethereal. I am amazed and it definitively managed to leave a huge memory in my heart! ❤️

It is one of my favorite places in Hamburg. The square where it is located, the lake, the buildings, everything is historical and in a magnificent atmosphere. it always has a different feeling in summer and winter, it is the favorite place of all tourists :) If you're going to feed the mantis and the ducks by the lake, don't forget to take something with you :) especially in summer, everyone gathers here to have a drink, it is a very lively area.

I loved this building. The square is big and welcoming and the building has a free entrance to an exhibition and do not miss going to the inner courtyard, where there is a very beautiful fountain. The building is very beautiful with so much details.

What a MAGNIFICENT building. It looks beautiful at any time of day, from every single angle. You can walk into the foyer for free and read up on the history of the building. HOWEVER, I would highly recommend catching a guided tour. We had a terrific time with our tour guide Patrick (English, 12pm, Friday, €5). It went over an hour long, and I learned so many interesting facts and laughed. so. much. Very enjoyable! Also very worth seeing all the different, lavishly decorated rooms. A tour through the Rathaus was definitely a highlight of our trip.

Definitely a must to see!!! Iconic Hamburg city hall architecturally brilliant, emotionally poetic, like a fairytale palace. Definitely recommended to see from every angle and definitely walk inside or find to do something inside. There’s a square in front of it that you can find every thing or whatever you’re looking for. I felt in here like Liverpool I don’t know why it remembers me.

I visited the Townhall upon many recommendations as a great tourist spot and I was not disappointed at all. The area outside the hall is filled with a lot of shops where you can buy souvenirs and things to remember the place with. Within the hall are beautiful edifices for your viewing pleasure and all looking very picturesque. I’ll definitely recommend!👍🏾

Just wonderful. It was built in late 1800s and it took 11 years to build it. The tower is 112 meters tall, so you can see the tower in every point of the city. There are 20 scrulptures pf the kings. Furthermore, there is a fountain inner courtyard. If you don't see this building in Hamburg, never say that you visited Hamburg.

Stunning Building in the center of Hamburg. It makes for an amazing backdrop to the Christmas Market during the Holiday season. We really enjoyed our visit and highly commend this location for Christmas (and non Christmas) enjoyment.

It is an amazing building full of architecture, imagination, vision, hard work, and engineering. Inside and out is amazing. The view is spectacular. Inside is like something completely modern, futuristic, I felt like if I was in a Big Space Chip. The Sound OMG! BREATHTAKING!

Went to 2 concerts during a 4 day visit Pros: The large hall is quite impressive. The visibility to the stage was great even though I was sitting at the upper levels. Supposedly, all 2100 seats have maximum distance of 30 meters to the conductor. The acoustics were great as well. Beethoven's violin concerto performance was very nice. The smaller recital hall good acoustics. Visibility of the stage was good even from the back. Website was easy to use and book tickets. Allocate extra time to enjoy a walk around the Hafencity neighborhood as well as the 360 view from the main floor of the venue. Cons: There are a lot of steps after the two escalators. If you are mobility challenged, then arrive early so that you can queue up to take the elevators. The bathroom at the main floor (after the two escalators) is inconveniently located. There are additional bathrooms as you enter either the two concert hall areas.

A work of art to see the architecture is very beautiful. If you you drive directly to the Elbphilharmonie and from the water you have an unobstructed view, It's a good thing that visiting the plaza is free. But not inside.

You can visit the building for free, you just need to go to one of the offices outside to get a free entrance ticket. The building's architecture is amazing and you have a great view over Hamburg and its harbour. There is also the possibility to drink and eat and have a great panoramic view. Be aware that it is a very crowded place with hundreds of people visiting it in the same time. Enjoy!

Beautiful architecture. A must visit place in Hamburg. Do take tickets downstairs it's for free (atleast for now) and go up with escalators. One of the coolest escalators I saw. Nice view of ships and jetty from the top. The top view of churches adds to the beautiful view from here. Have a coffee and enjoy the scenery. PS: The tickets to see concert hall are different.

A must see if you visit Hamburg. Its nice to look at from the outside, but also the inside has much to offer. The escalator is a masterpiece, the platform for public visit is beautiful and the hotel rooms, the Hotel itself and the concert hall are all a architectural masterpiece as well.

It has a great view and great acoustics. When you go up to the terrace, Hamburg is at your feet. It is almost the meeting point of the rivers coming from all over the city. You can also see the liveliness of the port and shipyard around.

When in Hamburg the Elbphilarmonie is a major highlight. Firstly because of the extraordinary architecture of the building, set on an island of the river in an area of recovered storage houses and port infrastructure. Then the concert hall itself, a marvel of acoustics. The stage is surrounded by public so it's possible to see the orchestra from all points of view. All the seats have great visibility of the stage.

You need to get a ticket to go on the curved escalator but it’s for free. I liked this place and the view from the balcony. They have a souvenir shop with some nice gadgets. The surrounding area is pretty calm as well.

Fascinating, classic, traditional fish restaurant in Hamburg. It’s a must go here in Hamburg if you want to have best fish with best hospitality. The soup it brilliant, fried fish ist awesome. You can customize the taste. Just tell them what you, they make it ready for you. Here I always come out of the restaurant with best feelings, happy and satisfied. It’s so recommended.

This is a great restaurant. Also very welcoming and not pretentious. Everything was of the highest quality, well cooked and well put together. A real treat!

Great food! The outstandingly good food should be emphasized, and that's what this is all about. Our waiter Hassan is quite a great host whose recommendations can be taken without hesitation. He is super friendly and was part of a lovely evening. However, the maitre d' was like a general or a supervisor, you don't really want that. We had appetizers which were all great and turbot as well as tuna steak and it was great all around.

This is an amazing fish restaurant situated in the harbour of Hamburg with amazing views. It has great selection of German fish dishes. Had labscouce was interesting. The turbot was excellent as well as the selection dish of 6 types of fish- Fishereihafenteller. House white is excellent too. Good friendly and attentive service.

The restaurant was recommended by a friend and it was absolutely worthwhile to come here for lunch. Reservations are recommended. Even for lunch the place was very well booked. The fish was prepared to perfection and the restaurant offers a great selection of fantastic wines.

We had a perfect dinner here. The food was excellent! The staff was very friendly and attentive. We loved the asparagus salad with shrimps and were positively surprised by the honey almond ice cream in the dessert. The prices are very good for the dishes and the service offered. We cannot await to return!

Great food and drinks. I had the fried calamari for starters, and the fried North Sea turbot with mustard sauce, potatoes and cucumber salad and these were accompanied with the house white wine. Caramelized cheesecake was the dessert. Everything was great but the mustard sauce gets the special mention, it was delicious. Service was also excellent. Highly recommended!

A classic in Hamburg but not to be missed if you want to explore some local interpretations of fish dishes. The bouillabaisse is quite remarkable, exquisite taste with rich ingredients. The turbot filet is highly recommended, the sauce is a memorable one! And yes, the service will make you feel at home! The ambiance of course is traditional - but this is part of the deal here.

If you want to have the true experience of having a Matjes (Haring sandwich) from Hamburg in front of the Harbour, this is truly one of the best places. The quality is insanely good and the price is fantastic. Also the staff is the most friendly you can find in Hamburg. Definitively recommend, either for dining in or for take out.

Absolutely a must-visit in Hamburg to experience the authentic fish sandwiches. We heeded the staff's recommendations and ordered three: two traditional ones with fish fillet and onions, and a "conservative" option with a fish cutlet. All three were incredibly delicious! It's a delightful aspect of Hamburg's unique cuisine that sets it apart from the rest of Germany.

It's best place for test the "fishbrötschen" with a nice view to port. I orderd bake fish and it was delicious. I recommend here to every one that come to Hamburg city.

Nice afternoon at the Hamburg Brücke area with the fish and bread. There was a long queue but enough seating when I visiting. The price of Crab rolls is different and depends on season and aren't cheap though. Enjoy the cosy dock and port view with the fish bread.

Good Fischbrötchen here. That said, I found their Nordseekraben one rather underwhelming. Perhaps it was just the quality (or lack thereof) for the day I went but it lacked the sweetness you expect from these variety of shrimp.

The fish sandwiches here are very tasty. There's quite a bit of choice on the menu and the food is freshly prepared. Prices are a little bit high for the amount of food that you get. Especially drinks are quite pricy. But the view and the quality of the fish are worth it.

Crowded but good. It's no wonder Brucke 10 is busy. We could not miss a specialty of Hamburg: the fischbrötchen. Two buns sandwiching a generous amount of seafood. Pictured is the classic (a bit dry), prawns and herring. We gazed upon the river as we consumed our sandwiches. A nice quick affordable lunch.

A local favourite serving up some classic north German cuisine and some other European classics. The food is simple and delicious and is very comforting to indulge in. The service is friendly and quick. The mabience is very loud and crowded so be prepared for chaos!

Very nice food, biggest Schnitzel portion I have ever seen, Spezi is self-brewed I think and I really like it. The Labskaus is very tasty as well.

Absolutely bangin and very good value in Hamburg. Up the road you'll get a schnitzel for double the price and not as tasty!! We got the Laukraus, cheeseburger, meatballs, veal & chicken schnitzel, extra fries - all outstanding (especially the fries). Service was top too!

Great service but definitely not the great steak! Super friendly and very attentive service, however, my steak was neither soft nor juicy. I’ve ordered an Irish dry-aged Rumpsteak, medium-rare, but the meat was still too dry, hard and no taste! Very disappointing! The prices of simple side dishes and drinks are too high. It was worth to try the restaurant but not sure to back again or recommend it! For such a price, can get definitely better steak elsewhere!

Each time I visit Hamburg, this is a must-visit restaurant. The food is great, and the service is excellent. They are multilingual and highly kind to their customers. I come to this restaurant every time I visit Hamburg, it is among the top three steak restaurants, and I have seen many cities, such as New York and Berlin. I highly recommend it.

Wanna have a decent meal but not pay super hefty price? Don’t go here! Read ahead! My husband and I wanted to have a simple meal. We checked the menu outside the restaurant and wanted only a simple fish plate. When we entered the environment was nice but no card on the table. When we asked for one we were told we’ll eat what we would get (as a joke I guessed). It was forceful order and we got fish plate and thought it was 15€ as stated outside. Lively atmosphere and it got fuller, we h thought great place. One of the staff was leaving and offered free schnapps and everything. Later during billing, the bill was about 100€!!! 2 fish plates and 2 wines! It’s a trap and ridiculous! Never gonna go again!

However, the service left something to be desired - despite the sparse weekday crowd, there were significant delays in attending to our table. The prices were on the higher side, and while the atmosphere was comfortable, it lacked any distinctive or special elements.

Amazing food. Very nice and friendly staff. They don't offer a menu. Only 3 or 4 course meal. The quality of food was outstanding! From prawns to fish to beef to fried vegetables everything was flavored and cooked to perfection. A bit over priced but the quality of food justifies to the price. And yeah free shots!

Good restaurant. First point is that is open after 10 pm. Second the food is good. I wasn't expecting that quality honestly. It was a bit expensive but the fish quality was good. Third the kitchen was on sight so that's also a good point. Fourth the personal was kind and pleasant.

Let's be honest here, the concept may be a bit weird and the service a little over the top, But the food was really good. The quality of the fish and the cooking was exceptional. I thought the actual taste exceeded the look and feel of the place and the way the food is presented on the dish. The main, which was a plate of 5 kinds of fish (each with its own sauce) was a little too much. I think many people would struggle to finish all three courses. I went in without knowing what I was getting myself into but the warmth of hospitality and the quality and taste did win me over. I thought the price was also good.
