It is a view point of this city. The entrance fee is 30 RM roundtrip . The top has a very beautiful view. And there is a great botanical garden. There are trees, flowers that are rare to see. The weather is good, 15 degrees, the height is 800 meters.

It’s so kitschy and so touristy but this is one way to enjoy the overview of Georgetown. Temperatures here are also a delightful treat after the humidity of the lowlands. The funicular train also adds to the excitement of ascending and descending this place. Do hire a buggy at MYR 30 per head to explore the place expediently. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature with a few surprises from monkeys and giant squirrels.

Went in at 9am in the morning on Friday, there was a small crowd waiting for the rail already. Managed to get on the second rail, and the ride up took <5minutes. There weren’t many people in the morning, thus, quite enjoyable to sightsee. It got crowded at 12+pm, and we were about to leave… The queue for the rail got crowded.! Good to go in the morning to avoid the crowd!

Super touristy place to visit but worth doing if you're here in Penang. I recommend the pass otherwise you'll be waiting in line a long time to go up OR down. The extra 10 ringgit allows you to skip the line. If you like to walk, at the top I suggest checking out ask the trails. You can of course walk down the mountain. It takes about 2 hours. If you don't like walking so much, you can hire a little car to drive you around or to the coffee shop at the end of a road. It comes with a ride back too. We decided instead to walk back so we could stop and take pictures. Totally worth it. The earlier you come the better the experience will be. Less lines, less tourists, less heat.

One of the popular tourist attraction is Penang. Located near Georgetown. Easy to find and public parking available here for a fee. I visited recentlly on a weekend. It was very crowded and waiting time for Furnicular train/Tram was almost more than an hour. Tickets can be bought at the counter for 1 or 2 way to/from the Penang hill. There is a food court up there and also a buggy service for visitors to tour the hill area for a fee. There are attractions such as Tge Habitat, Old and historical buildings, a Coffee shop and a Museum etc. Best thing to witbess is beatifull views of Georgetown and other nearby Islands. Management should take a note that there was no physical distancing in the Furnicular train.

We bought the fast lane tickets for trains. But since the school holidays, many queued. The view was amazing, the food up there was delicious and there are many beautiful views from the top of the hill. But overall, we enjoyed our trip here. Worth every penny. Will definitely be back again.

Unfortunately the viewing deck was under construction when I visited. There are some nice spots where you still can enjoy a good view from the hill. If you visit this place during a workday or Sunday there most probably won’t be any queues. If the weather is clear, during sunset the views should be very nice. Also, you can find some very pretty monkeys there. If you are in Penang definitely recommend.

Amazing and unique experience for my entire family. Spent a wonderful time at top most, natural, scenic and historic place of Penang.

We came here on a Monday late morning around 10 am. It was not crowded and brisk getting the standard ticket, and up we go to the top of Penang Hill. There were quite a lot of tourist attractions at the top of the hill. We choose to do the Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk. It cost around MYR 60 Per Adult. It was a great walk for city folk with nice scenery. Alternatively, a family of five can hop on bungee ride for MYR 30. We suggest to avoid weekend and local public holidays as we heard it is usually crowded.

Enjoyed the view from Penang Hill. We took a car truck up the hill to avoid the weekend rush. It costed us 160 RM to and fro. We had a chill walk at the hill and enjoyed the view and walk. Lot of options to eat and click pictures.

Beautiful. Cable car rate was around 20-25RM, we paid additional entry fee to enter the habitat (opens at 9am). We went early morning so really enjoyed the view and ambience.

A boring place honestly, in the top messy place and nothing to do , there is no activities no something enjoyable! Just messy place, I wish the management to improve it by making some activities and by managing the place and clean it !! To be honest the only amazing things is the tram 🙂, even it was fully of people so you cannot see anything. 😅

The Peranakan Mansion was full of history and you can feel it once you step into the place. We went for a guided English tour where the guide told us about the rich story behind this place. You can easily immerse yourself here for hours, the mansion is huge. You need to take off your shoes for the 2nd floor so I would recommend wearing socks.

Visited the mansion in the afternoon. We reached the mansion pretty late so it was near closing time. However, we made it for the last tour of the day (English version). The tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the mansion. He showed us and explained to us interesting facts and trivia about various designs and purposes. This place is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

Beautiful space - breath-taking and a real joy to visit. The RM20 entry fee is well worth it - it's beautifully maintained and a delight to wander in. I particularly enjoyed the central courtyard and the different tiles throughout the premises, as well as the ancestral hall and the paintings. The pictures don't do it justice - I highly highly recommend you come visit.

Highly recommend a visit to this mansion and join a group with a guide in the museum that is included in the entrance ticket available in Mandarin and English. So rich in history and also gives a good visual representation of what it was like in Penang in the past. The links with China and also England, and also trade with European nations are seen in the objects and design of the mansion. Good to go a little earlier in the day as after the guided tour, there’s time to go around to take more photos and have a closer look at the extensive collections of antiques that tell their stories.

The owner did a good job at refurbishing and preserving a piece of important history ! The collection was amazing. I’m really glad that I visited this place, as I finally got to see how it looks inside of a heritage building. I’m still in awe of how rich the Peranakan culture is (and also how loaded someone could be). Throughout the guided tour, it’s apparent that some riches are just unattainable 😂 Out of reach for peasants like us… Mr. Stanley was an amazing guide to us - an amazing storyteller. The storytelling was so vivid that you’ll feel as if you’ve travelled time. I’m pretty sure he’d repeated it so many times but his enthusiasm was palpable - through the clap of his hands. Loved it. Highly recommend.

The tour guide in English was so nice and funny! Sometimes, the accent was difficult to follow as he was wearing a face cover/mask. The house is huge and lots to explore in one hour. Definitely recommend doing the free tour. Otherwise, it's hard to appreciate! What I liked most is the fact that you can sit and touch almost everything, unlike other museums. You can also go in and out as you wish all day. I highly recommend visiting. Bonus points as King Charles and Queen Consort Camila visited a few years ago, and they also do movie scenes there like Crazy Rich Asians!

Guided tour was great! The tour guide Stanley was very informative, and he explained the various exhibits well. The tour was for 45 minutes or so. Attraction fee was RM 30 per adult, which was reasonable.

One of the things I enjoyed the most in Georgetown. The entry ticket is only 5 dollars, but it's a great value because there's a one hour guided tour in English every 30 mins. Our tour guide was a very funny Chinese gentleman who took his time to explain to us the history of the mansion in an interesting way and show us every single room. The mansion has many collectibles and rare artifacts from over 200 years ago, some of them are considered priceless. I totally recommend to add visiting this mansion to your itinerary and get the chance to immerse into it's treasures

This is a very nice old jetty with a fantastic view. The wooden path to the jetty is rickety but stable. There are some shops selling locally made souvenirs. The view from the jetty of the harbour and fishing boats is pleasant. Nice place to go.

Lovely walk down a narrow pier where you will find food, ice cream, hand made gifts, bags you name it. At the end is a small temple and a lovely sea view. Opposite there is a food court where you can find lots of local foods there.

The crowd flocked to the jetty and few quiet houses formed a sharp contrast. Most traditional old wooden houses become little shops selling food and souvenirs makes this place commercialised. Feeling sad for residents here who don't want to be disturbed but some places like this are really attractive and good for visitors to walk around. Enjoying the gentle sea breeze and eating some good food, what a life.

Visited the jetty at about 6.30pm so I didn't managed to visit the shops as most of them are closed/closing in progress. However, the jetty does allow you to see the sea, which make it a very good scenic place for photography. If you like to fully explore the jetty (or the series of jetties found along the stretch), it might be useful to cater at least half day exploring the locations. Accurate as of August 2023.

Nice port view. The area is not as big as I first thought. Small vendors alongside the wooden path. Please support the locals as much as you can. Buy drink bottles etc

Interesting place but v touristy. Quite clean n safe but nothing much. Handmade ice cream is very good. Check my photo to pick d right one. Souvenirs r not unique n cost ~RM 1+ more than other shops.

Great place to catch the breeze on a hot day. We arrived about 6.30pm, and most shops/homes were closed up even though it was relatively busy. Recommend going earlier.

A great tourist attraction for a leisure walk and sight-seeing. Walk to the end of the jetty through the wooden walkway and you will be rewarded with beautiful up sea views. Great to go in the morning and evening too. Just don't be noisy and interrupt the residents. 😃

As an historical place is interesting how people emigrated from China to the Malay Peninsula and how they grouped by families in houses over the sea and the influence they had in the city. The main problem is that there is only one sign with this information and the rest is a main hallway full of shops. If you want to see a more authentic one, you can find in this same Jetty, just take the path to the right as soon as you enter the place, is full of houses not oriented to sell you anything.

Time seemed to have stood still and it’s still back in 1970s or 80s where a simpler life existed. That is the time warp you experience when meandering through the corridors at Chew Jetty. Recommend to come early morning before the tourists descend and enjoy the peace and somewhat tranquil surroundings.

Fun jetty to walk through the traditional houses by the beach over the sea. A little warm and we stopped by in this pretty shaved ice cafe. Fruit tea is refreshing. A good stop to cool down and freshen up.

This was our first trip to Malaysia. We were especially impressed by people serving us during our stay. There was no feeling of a "rush hour" although everything functioned well. We also enjoyed a very airy room - the ceiling was high up! The leader of a guided tour in the mansion was a real expert. Maybe we even missed something because we do not know a Chinese culture so well. Food in the Indigo restaurant was overall very tasty and well prepared, some combinations, however not to my taste.

I liked the vibe of the town house we stayed at despite it being a drive away from the blue mansion itself. It was a unique experience and would recommend to anyone who wants a genuine feel of the wonderful George Town. The reason I'm giving this accommodation a five is because I was infuriated on the very last day when the iron provided by the hotel melted blue paint or plastic, very fitting, on the collar of my brand new shirt that I was trying to iron and when I repeatedly tried to call reception to demand it be dry cleaned immediately I couldn't get through and when I eventually did many hours later, they told me laundry was closed for the day and that it would need to be taken care of the next day. I was checking out the next day so that was useless.

The blue color of the mansion stood out among the buildings on the street and I was amazed by the majestic architecture of this ancient place. They have a guided tour at certain times of the day and you have to pay for it, which kind of forcing visitors to pay just to enter even though I didn’t want the tour and just wanted to have a look and take photos of the place. I guess this is another way the place wants to generate more profits even though the place itself is a hotel. I was impressed by how they detailed the history of the owner of the place and the interior decor. I furthered learned that this place has been a popular place for movie shootings as well, the known one was Crazy Rich Asians. I’d love to stay here for a few nights one day just to enjoy and experience a stay at an ancient mansion.

What a seemless check-in experience. Staff was friendly and efficient. Right from the entrance, the staff came to get the bags. Check in staff was all smiles and made the process quick and easy. Next day's breakfast was also made to make it convenient. Rooms are spacious, clean and our room had access to the pool too from the room. Family friendly. Shower room was clean and well equipped with all your needs.

Beautiful architecture and pleasant stay - to stay here is a bit like staying in a museum. High ceilings and antique furniture. As there are many original features, expects some quirks. The courtyards are lovely for relaxing in with a cool drink and a book. As is the swimming pool area. Staff were efficient and helpful. Great to see drinking water in glass instead of plastic bottles. Likewise, I appreciated the full size toiletries instead of the plastic minis. There’s a lovely friendly cat here too!

From the moment we arrived, we felt cared for by the staff at The Blue Mansion! They brought us tea, assisted with luggage, had our room prepared with some lovely surprises for our anniversary, and gave us a drink ticket to use at the bar to celebrate. The property is beautiful and wonderfully kept. We enjoyed the museum aspects of the house and the fact that each room feels like a museum. The staff were so helpful with recommendations of where to go around Penang and were always warm and welcoming. In the evening on our first night at the Mansion, they brought us some lovely desserts. They really made our stay feel special and it is something we will remember for many years to come!

managed to join the guided tour today and it was an amazing, eye-opening experience! honestly, i only expected to see a very blue building, but left with so much more than that! catch the 11am Friday tours if you can. our guide (sorry I forgot her name!) said she only does this slot weekly. she and her husband are responsible for the restoration of the Blue Mansion and you could feel her passion coming through for this project. it really helped make the tour so much more enriching :)

Place considerably well maintained. If you like heritage, this would be a great place to go. Guided tours available with an extension turned into hotel. Has a mini pool. SOP is mediocre. Bed is comfy but floor in lower ground floor is concrete. Not the most comfortable for a hotel room.

Highly recommend Indigo as the perfect venue to host private events. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is relaxing, the interior deco is lovely & the staff are friendly & helpful. Our guests enjoy the event very much! Our stay at Ming Room is equally satisfying. The room is spacious, comfy & very "heritage". And definitely a big thanks to Mr. Daniel who helps to coordinate our private event! It is a pleasant & memorable experience for the both of us~*

the amount of work they’ve put into restoring this place…just…wow. Mom stayed here for a night and said the beds were a little hard, but overall the stay was fantastic. She absolutely loved the staff and made friends with a few folks (pictures below) who she said went above and beyond to make her time incredible. We went on a tour the next morning and learning about the history of the place makes it even more interesting. Beautiful grounds and in a great location, if you want a unique experience highly recommend!

Entrance fee: 10 RM It’s an interesting place to learn how a clan lived 100 years ago in Georgetown and learn some history of the town. The main building is gorgeous, the ceiling, the pillars, the walls, everything is decorated in some way or another. I recommend you to visit the buildings first and then the museum as the last one assumes that you already saw the building. The only thing I really dislike was that the patio of this place is occupied as parking (at least when we were there) It cost nothing to not park in front of your beautiful building.

This place is beautiful! Superb. So rich in culture and delicate architecture. The silence is priceless! Despite the outside trafic is bad and noisy. Inside those walls, barely hear anything except birds sounds. Inner peace at its best! Rm15 per person entry. Closes at 5pm.

This feels like a stroll in one of the ancient mansion only to be found in China. It is well kept and full of stories. The craft arts on the roof, wall, door and windows show the status of the family and wealth. Entrance fee is RM10. It's definitely worth more than what you've paid.

A beautiful Chinese temple just off Armenian street. We walked past the entrance initially as the temple is not visible from the street. The temple is beautiful and the decoration is incredibly intricate. There is a museum on the lower floor detailing the history of the building and the clan which added to our experience a lot.

Fascinating insights into Chinese immigration and clans in Georgetown. Beautiful temple opposite stage, surrounded by clan residences . Excellent museum underneath. Worth at least an hour to take in the museum (suggest visit firstbto get best understanding of history and construction of the temple and surrounds).

Incredibly ornate temple, worth taking the time to explore. There is also a little self-guided history museum full of interesting information. Be sure to stop by the gift shop and say hello to the sweet couple who rus it, they are gems.

So many food outlets here. Some of the food is great, some was less so. But a fun atmosphere with so many people dining ... was really busy at 9pm on a Wednesday. And then there is the stage and the live music ... definitely adds to the experience!

This place is great if you like a variety of average tasting foods from South East Asia and the Middle East - there's also a karaoke contest running in the background for entertainment which adds to the atmosphere. But if you want proper Penang hawker food then there are better places to eat where the service is fast and you don't have to wait 45 minutes for your order to be forgotten or delivered to the wrong table! The food will be more authentic elsewhere too and of a better quality, I'm sure...

High Saturday night. Come here to having relax time with family. The food court have variety choice of food stalls. Also have live band during night time. Nice place for eat and drink here.

I usually don't fancy eating at one of these food courts in Penang when there are so many other options available. But it was pretty late and most stores were closed, so we decided to give this a try. Sadly there were many stores already not operating and the only a couple of stores serve Penang food. But to our surprise, the food stores we selected were really good. Had the Dumplings & skewered pork from the China food stall & the "oh jien" (fried oyster omelette) from another stall, surprisingly really good. Can't comment on the others but if you're there, I recommended you these stores.

Good hawker food, lots of choice. I would recommend food from Little Hong Kong, Sui Yang Dumplings, Crispy Chinese Pancake, Wantan Mee and Fat Master Fish. Drink orders are taken by the servers walking around. You then go to the stall you want food from, order and tell them a table number. All paid at the table. Some stalls are over priced so just take your time to browse around and take your pick for the best price. I did not pay over RM10 for a big main dish.

To be fair it’s a relatively clean semi open air food centre with a good choice of food stalls, and an easy ordering system. You get a table and go around ordering food with your table number and they bring it to you and you pay at the table. The prices were reasonable and most of the dishes were not bad, just not great. I guess I just had greater expectations. Met a few locals who told me this place was too expensive for them. BTW we stayed at Cheong Fatt Tze next door and now we know why there was loud music all evening till midnight, it came from this food centre!

1. “Satay” is very normal, the taste didnt go into the meat, and the kuah is tasteless. 2. “Tomyam fried rice” is OMG. I guess they fry the rice tgt with tomyam soup as the fried rice is served in wet, and the taste is totally no tomyam flavour, I just feel sour. 3. “Hokkien mee” is normal, the soup is lack of prawn taste. 4. “Grill pork stick” 五花肉烤串 is okay, the meat is grilled very well.

Daytime served food.. Night time, it's stage singing show, drinking and small Food eating place. Very nice stage singing and only singing show but different singers every night. Music starts at 830pm. Show time is 1030pm to 11pm. Drinkers get front row table. Non drinkers sit at back. The place is clean and the show is nice. One can offer artificial flowers, Head band and others for the singers with charges. Nice place to go at night. No air-con but fan but not so hot. Car park no problem. Recommended to go for drink.

I love Red Garden Food! It is so affordable and the vibe is nice. There is a specific little Chinese stand that has the best fried dumplings for around 12 ringgits! It’s my favorite and I highly recommend. The Thai food is also very good!

Simple dinner, we had nachos and buffalo wings at That's Nachos Cheese . Nachos were very tasty but the buffalo wings are out of this world. Highly recommended guys.... The shop is located in the same row as traditional curry kitchen towards the end.

Been to this place on 2018 and made another visit again on 2023 and this place is still good as it was. Love all the food here and the service is really fast too. Recommend to come here before 5 for dinner. I know it will be too early for some people, but better come early or you have to wait in a long queue as it’s a top recommend restaurant in Penang

We waited for almost an hour to be seated. It must be good since the queue was so long. The food was not bad, nice zhi-char style. Except for the last dish, deep fried squid. Not very fantastic when we ate it. 4 out of 5 of us ate it and all 4 had mild food poisoning the next morning with diarrhea and vomiting. We had to stay indoor whole day on our 3rd day of holiday. This was a small episode of our encounter in Penang.

Yummy local dishes. Place was bustling with alot of tourists. We were able to get in on Thurs evening 6pm for early dinner without any reservation but a long queue formed behind us soon after. It is recommended to reserve if you want to dine at normal meal times. Favourite dishes of the night was the fire roast pork.

Really long queue even on a Monday evening. Arrive at 6.30pm and have our food served early at 8pm. The dishes that leave a memorable impression are pork belly and Assam stingray. Can go for a try if you have the patience.

You have to make reservation otherwise be ready to wait in line for long time in Malaysia heat! This restaurant is popular among local and tourists. Luckily we made reservation and came on time. Service is rushed, seating is super tight, and if you’re sitting close to the door, it does get quite hot, so don’t expect a luxury experience. Price is reasonable for a sit down restaurant, but food was tasty, all local Chinese dishes, everything we ordered were good, no complaint there.

Been going to this place over the years and the food quality has still remained of top notch. Seafood is fresh, service is fast and food is deliciously good. There's always a queue during peak lunch and dinner hours, try to make reservations earlier if you can, but if you're willing to wait for a short time then avoid the rush hour.

Came here on a Thursday evening and it was crowded. We didn't make a reservation but turned up at the restaurant at 6pm, and were lucky to get a table for 2. We were ushered to our table quickly. We ordered some of their signature dishes, the Assam Stingray, Stir Fried Morning Glory with shrimp paste and prawns, salt and pepper squids, braised deep fried tofu with dried scallops and prawns and a plain omelette. All of the dishes were really good, the Assam Stingray was a winner for me. The broth was so flavourful, really nice to eat with rice. Price wise it was quite reasonable too. Only downside was the squid, which was very average. It's definitely worth a stop. But you need to either make a reservation beforehand or show up at the opening time.

Their braised pork is tasty, but only give us 3 prices…We ordered mapo tofu, it is not my taste. They say popular but I don’t think it is nice to me. We went their peak hour like 12:40pm on Saturday. Queue there around 10-15 mins and waited for another 10-15mins after we ordered. If you stay nearby there, you can go there to try their food, but if you stay far away, if it is not worth it just to visit there. Good thing is they accept credit card and toilet is clean.

If you're thinking of going here for a meal, we would thoroughly recommend that you do. We had a few initial problems - they wanted us to download the menu on our phones but being of the older variety 🙄 we didn't have reading glasses on us, so it took us a while to persuade them to give us an actual menu to read from. Once we had overcome this initial hurdle, we ordered food - butter chicken, rice and a cauliflower veg mix which was out of this world delicious. Our meal for 2 came to 38 my / £7.60 and was so worth it, if we return, we wouldn't hesitate to come again.

Delicious! We ordered biryani claypot but the pot was not made from clay anymore, but it still tasted good. The beef was so tender, perfectly cooked. Accept card, ewallet payment. However, we thought our meals come together with the eggs but actually the staff put the eggs into our order without telling us, it costed us additional RM1+/pc., please be honest with our order.

A pleasant mamak with sufficient variety of naan and biryani. The restaurant is opened at its sides, so no air-conditioning. It can get pretty warm depending on the weather and time of the day you choose to visit. Waiters are OK, service was basic. Food seem to have been cooked in advance and is probably reheated once we confirmed our order. This led to receiving lukewarm naan, tandoori chicken and biryani. The mint sauce was really nice though.

This restaurant served one of a kind dishes compared to other mamak. Their signature dish was Chicken Milani which can order with nasi Briyani or Naan Cheese. There are two options for dine in, normal dine or indoor (with air-conditioning). Restaurant was satisfactory clean, staff attitude could be improved and be more attentive when serving large group of customers. Overall, its a good place to eat with the price-tag a little bit above average.

Recently we have visited this place for dinner 🍽️ Really it's impressive ambience with Air-conditioned atmosphere of spacious seatings and wonderful lightings of brightness. Dishes are served Lil Slow with fresh and hot . The best place to dine in for family outings and gatherings for tasteful foods. Situated next to the Kapitan Open restaurant. Those who prefer indoor Peaceful Cooling dining would definitely try this place for sure . Roti and Naan items are so delicious chickens too .

Sedap! The naan bread and tandoori compliment each other. Love the briyani, tasty authentic indian style with fluffy rice. Service is fast. The restaurant is clean. Recommended!

Good food and generous portion. I like their butter chicken. The gravy is creamy and thick. Their beef is another can’t miss too. Food and environment are clean.

Service is fast but staff not friendly. Can be crowded. Cheese naan and tandoori chicken seems to be the most popular dish. We also ordered the mutton briani but the rice was served with lamb chop and not mutton in gravy.

Nice deco in the air cond section. Food is delicious. Everybody finished their plates clean. Chicken can be better if marinated a little longer. Courtesy of waiter however needs some improvement.

Last night was my 3rd visit and I am say the food and services were very disappointing. The taste and quality of the dishes are no longer as flavourful compared to my 2018 snd 2019. 5 of us had the 3 course set so we practically had all their dishes on our table. Perhaps the pandemic has really hit them hard. The desserts are no longer as creative as before. Portion size all has shrunk and taste is average. Hope they bring back the good food they used to serve. Lastly we received very patchy services from the staff. We had to remind them many times when we needed something. They are just busy running around. The only highlight is the exceptional hospitality that the assistant manager offered us. He checked on us frequently and even showed us the hotel lobby. I hope Kebaya dining room is not just a pretty restaurant with no soul and quality. Maybe we will visit again next year!

Food Presentation look as usual normal but the taste n aroma of the food is superb. Will advise to go for 2course meal. Is good n enough to fill you up. Manager syahrul was so friendly n helpful. Thumb up for overall. Must come n try, be sure to make a reservation as they are always fully book. They only serve dinner as for now. Good luck.

Good points: The food portions were generous (each main dish can be shared) and food tasted good. Interior was nice too, think traditional Peranakan architecture and design. Down sides: We waited very long (an hour plus) between the starters and the mains. When we checked on the food status, the staff seemed evasive. In the end we spent 3 hours there though we could have been done in 2 hours. Summary is if you have time then this would be a good place.

We hosted our wedding luncheon and dinner back to back on the same day in March 2022. The event flow was very smooth, the environment is super cozy and the food is exquisitely superb. Highly recommended place for dine in and wedding reception. A big thanks to Mr Syahrul and all the friendly staff over there in Kebaya Dining Room for assisting us and accepting our last minute request. The hotel room is fantastic and it's definitely a nice place for a staycation or vacation. the food are Soo awesome..the staff are so professional..they even got me birthday song and surprises me with a wish card..it sooo nice and classy. I recently dined at Kebaya Dining Room in Penang and was impressed by the unique blend of traditional Malaysian flavors with Vietnamese and Thai elements and French cooking techniques. The dishes were surprising and delicious. The decoration and ambiance of the restaurant were also excellent. The prices were average, making it a great value for the quality of the food and overall experience. I highly recommend Kebaya Dining Room for an unforgettable culinary experience.

Thank you for the hospitality & service . The food recommendation by the servers both June & Dinesh were awesome. Must haves are Kerabu Soft Shell Crab , otak otak puff and Hong bak lamb. The food is not hot spicy so its suitable for those whom can't eat hot spicy food . Thank you Wendy & Shamrul for giving us tour of the 7 Terrace. Pls not that if you plan to stay here, kids are not allowed as running around the premises is not allowed . It's a beautiful piece of art if you appreciate culture & history . Weddings & events are often held here.

Got lucky and got reservation for this place. People say its quite hard to get. Really like the atmosphere of this place. The server is really knowledgeable about the food they are serving. Would recommend to get the prawn, the chicken, and the lamb here. Their coconut sauce is really on point and delicious!

Somewhat disappointed overall. I would have given it 3 stars but the dessert saved the day and was amazing. Good: - really nice traditional setting. They use lovely intricate chinaware and have a live musician playing traditional Chinese music. - dessert was so good. We had pandan crème brûlée and tang Yuen. Both highly recommended Bad: - Service was extremely slow and confused. They have loads of waiters but none really seem to be doing anything. It took a few minutes for them to give us a menu, then a few more minutes for a drinks menu, then another 10 min before they took our order. After ordering the starter took about 20 min to come. The wait for the main course was even longer, we arrived at 6pm and the main was served at 7:30pm. And none of that was because of us taking our time, the service was just slow. They did at least apologise for the delay though. - starter and main course were good but a bit on the bland side. Would have expected stronger flavours with some spice in Malaysia. Overall I think it’s fine, just about worth the cost of 167 MYR for 3 courses.

Food portion was generous as they tried to cater to 8 of us. Service was top notch. Taste for me was just average as i have tasted better and cheaper. But overall for the atmosphere and food was satisfying 👍

We ate at mews cafe, it serve delicious dish. Food comes in big portion. Taste of beef rendang really tasty.

After spending some time researching for top authentic restaurants in Penang before we arrived from our cruise ship, we decided to come here. I’m glad we did. If you’re looking for authentic food and good environment, this is the place. highly recommended.

Saw somewhere posting this delicious food and decided to try it today. I've ordered Nasi Goreng Ayam, Nasi Lemak & Chicken Satay. Nasi Goreng Ayam taste good especially the marinated chicken was so tender. Nasi lemak also taste good and the fish is fresh without bone, served with some pickles that is taste good as well. Satay was just ok, it's thigh part but the taste is just normal. Overall the service is good and staff is friendly. I'm giving 5 star because of the overall experience and the food is nice.

Mews Cafe, Georgetown, Penang - if you love satay like I do, this is a really good one with juicy chicken thigh pieces perfectly grilled. Definitely worth a visit if you are the the area. I also tried the dry mee siam but didn’t think much of it. Mews cafe is a small little eatery attached to a hotel called Muntri Mews, a little oasis of lush greenery amidst the heritage shophouses.

Excellent place to hang out and eat. Arrived around 1PM and its pretty quiet to have lunch. Quite small so there’s no parking space. The food was great! Recommended!

A cafe that is integrated with a hotel. The breakfast is good. Whatever is on the menu is good. The place is a bit hidden, thus not many cars passing by even the cafe is only roadside. So, you can enjoy a relaxing breakfast.
