First moonshine tasting and it was so much fun! We had Abbey and she's was an excellent bartender and very knowledgeable of each tasting and pairing! She was also very entertaining! We got a comedy show, several tastings, and so many laughs! Tasting space was comfortable and clean. The store was beautiful. Excellent experience, we will definitely be back!

Joshua was our bartender this beautiful Sunday afternoon. He was a blast and we had 13 different moonshine to try. Doesn't mean you like each and everyone, but it was a great atmosphere and everyone looked like they were having a great time! They also had a very handy pour spout to be used on these mason jars! Overall a great time😊

Let me just tell ya, if you want some shine, go here! Go do the moonshine tasting, it's always a blast. The servers here are the Best! If you have a wait to get in line to get in I will say that the line moves fairly quick and it's so worth it. I can't tell you how many times I've been and it never disappoints. And you never know who you might just run into while your there.

Such an awesome place you have to stop in and do the sampling, it's well worth the five dollars. you have to meet Glover, he's the Best so Awesome. He sure loves his job. I could've stood there all night and listened to Glover talk. I hadn't smiled that much in Avery long time. Thank you, Glover. I love the banana pudding & pecan shine. Can't wait till my next visit.

Abby did a very entertaining and happy tasting presentation. Staff was very cordial and helpful. Tasting fee goes towards fee and you are allowed to stack the tickets. Definitely worth the visit.

I've wanted to visit Sugarland's for a long time, and when my finace and I finally got to go last weekend, I was NOT let down! We did the taste testing with Cody as our "Taste Master," and he was phenomenal. He kept the group engaged, made us laugh the whole time, and was quite the entertainer. What was even cooler, is that after the tasting, you could use your wristband to get $5 off a jar of amazing moonshine! I had an absolute blast and I can't wait to go back!

This is a must visit. We have so much fun everytime we visit Sugarlands. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely entertaining. Be sure to visit the back room, ask anyone and they will point you in the right direction.

False advertising and the manager that was there that night was a young girl did not care !!! Always loved coming here for the employees that work behind the bar that pours always extremely friendly Cody Rob always make things fun enjoy coming back here when I'm on vacation numerous times but do not like being disrespected by a manager when this sign is clearly stated the price of a product it doesn't state sign they would not honor their price and she talked to me extremely rude I think she should take management classes and she wants to run an establishment I've seen brighter employees at McDonald's as managers Don't think I will be ever coming back here and purchasing products I will find other needs to fulfill the money that I spend when I come up the Gatlinburg it's pretty sad when one person ruins something you enjoy doing !!!

We love Sugarlands, come here twice a year when we are on vacation. Absolutely the best And so is Payton, enjoyed our tasting session with her. Go Payton!!!! 5 stars. $5 to taste 12 flavors plus a bonus flavor. They have a cocktail bar also. Amazing!!! Defiantly recommend !!! Plus you get a $5 wristband also. And our bartender Lissy was amazing also. Will be back in November.

Best tasting in town courtesy of Cody. The man is magic with a pour. A story to go with every shot. Lucky if you don't lose your liquor laughing. And loving his girly Lissy serving the special of the day back in the cocktail lounge along with Britt. This place is hands down the best in town!

Stopped into Sugarlands Distilling today, we did our tasting with Stephanie, great time, lots of laughs we had a phenomenal time. We drink as a family so it’s all good all the time. If you’re swinging into Gatlinburg definitely stop by and see Stephanie. The pour says it all, just look at it!!!!…. Don’t forget the cocktail bar out back

Great place to check out. They have $5 tryouts which are totally worth it. Servers are entertaining and give cool facts about the drinks. They have large area covered with live music and sitting space. Must go place if spending time in downtown

This was more than I imagined and certainly an experience I recommend for those of age. Bring your wallet! First, the moonshine tasting is $5, but you get a $5 coupon to use on your purchase and you're gonna purchase something. They served 9 flavors with two of them being edibles and two being cream liquers. Second, get a tasting with Buzz! He is hilarious and so much fun. Lastly, have fun! There are so many flavors and Ole Smoky Moonshine merch. I wasn't ready. And they have specials, so take advantage. When you're done shopping, step outside for some entertainment. The rocking chairs are comfy and the music is great.

Southern hospitality at it's finest. The midwest could take a clue from the South. My husband and I have Southern backgrounds and we long to move back South. Tasted most of the flavors. Shots poured for everyone! Everyone was very nice and even met some drinking buddies. We purchased over $400 worth of moonshine and Whiskey. We will be back. This will last for awhile. One of the best parts of our trip! We scheduled ahead and do the behind the scenes tasting tour! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Beyonce;) did our tour and made our time incredibly awesome! She was SUPER knowledgeable, fun, and kind!! It is really neat to see how the moonshine is made and hear about the history and future of the company ! We then had VIP tasting which was super fun- you even get a Tshirt on the way out! The place was clean and organized well!

This is a moonshine store that has taste testing for $5 and a wide variety of flavors. There’s a distillery on-site that’s very interesting. They also have a stage and bluegrass bands perform in the afternoon and evening. The music is free with rocking chairs arranged in front of the stage for anyone to sit in and enjoy the show. We saw 3 different groups and they were all very talented.

This place was on my short bucket list and I was not disappointed at all! Made a special trip over there when I was vacationing in North Carolina. Went all out with the Behind the Stills tour (free special tshirt when you do.) Brooklyn (not Beyonce😉) was awesome as our guide! We definitely took advantage of their amazing selection and sales. Got a pack of 12 (2 free bottles) with the large cooler free and got the 3 pack with the free small cooler. I wish I had read the passport before ending vacation and visited all 3 locations for another free shirt. Definitely keeping it on hand next time I'm there, which will hopefully be next year.

Second tasting and had a great time taste testing the moonshines of the day! $5 tasting and the flavors were great, bartenders fun, and comical even through their sales cooler pitch! Minimal wait to get to the bar top, but it was a full bar! Store is huge so many different souvenirs and shines to pick from, everyone is super helpful, and don't forget to use your coupons! Take it all in, throw the tasting back and just have fun!

I would say overall 4.5 stars is where I would put it. The atmosphere is neat with live music outside. The shine tasting is nice but I don't agree with the sign everywhere saying free tasting when it costs you $5 but I understand the city forces that fee and not the establishment. However you do get a $5 coupon for merchandise in the store with the tasting. Overall fun experience I recommend do your shopping before the tasting or you will spend a lot more after you do the tasting lol.

Great fun for the whole family. We got to enjoy terrifying ride to the top via skyline. This led to a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains and the strip. Walking across the bridge was not as terrifying as the lift but it was scary (for those who do not do well with heights). Worth a visit for sure.

I have been on this ride 3 times and never fails to impress me. The ride is so calm, yet provides one of the best views of the smoky ranges. Definitely worth it! The ticket is valid for the whole day, so I would suggest to go there in the morning so you can go again throughout the day if you wish!

What a bridge! What a View! Definitely top 5 things to do in Gatlinburg! We grabbed our tickets and rode up the skylight. My wife is a bit shy with heights so I encouraged her to look out on the horizon. The upper area has a couple options, we went to the small bridge first. While a bit springy I definitely liked the idea of getting used to it first. After we went across the trail and came back across the 600 foot long bridge. The middle had about 50 feet of glass sections where you could see down 140 feet! Loved it! Afterward we grabbed a couple beers up top, grabbed 2 of the 20 or so rocking chairs and watched the sun go down. Because of the mountain ridge we could only see glowing colors on the peaks, not the sun itself, but it was worth the wait. The ride down is easy, but you definitely see how high up you are!

This place is beautiful a must do when visiting Gatlinburg. The view from any spot on the top is beautiful. The bridge is incredible and so cool in the center to see the bottom. They also take your picture before you go to top. Give you ticket you buy online or at the top. Tickets cost 31.95 adult 24.95 senior children 18.95 under 3 free.

Amazing Views!! Not a long wait, bought our tickets online ahead of arrival. Went in July, so a very hot day, and it was nice to get a cold drink and relax in the shade. As said, the views were so beautiful!! Even though there were alot of people it did not matter. It was wonderful!!

Great views! The chairlift to the top was very smooth, and gives good views of the valley on the way down. I was expecting the Sky Bridge and the glass floor to be longer and higher of the ground (I'm guessing it was about 60ft high), but it was still an interesting experience. We bought the photos that they took of us, but I'd like to see higher resolutions.

The view from the top was amazing! It was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. The place got few things to do and the bridge was amazing. The shop and the food was okay and we got to sit there have a quick bit to eat and got some drinks. Will defiantly come back for more.

The bridge was pretty cool. Glass floors in the middle were a neat view. The tower was neat and had some educational info in it. The bridges to the tower were definitely more challenging than the sky bridge. Nice easy walk around the sky trail. The surprise was how good the pizza at the Cafe. Not saying the beat pizza ever. But definitely did not disappoint. I'd eat it again. And again. Fun family trip with a good pizza, who could turn that down.

The ride up was very beautiful...lift ride was smooth. The bridge was my biggest fear... but I conquered it. There is plenty of places to enjoy the bridge without going across it. There's nice restrooms and a gift shop with food and drinks. I would caution though...if you have younger children that challenge rules or your direction. The lift bar pulls down, but it doesn't lock. There is also a gap where you sit depending on your size. I teach preschool, and there are kids in my class that I wouldn't even recommend going on this with.

Please stop here! Blackberry wine is all you need to ask for. Everything is good though so you can't go wrong. Great deals too. Isabella was our bartender and did a great wine tasting with us. Just pay the extra 5 bucks and get the vip one it's well worth it. I'll probably order more online after I finish these bottles. Update 8/5/2022!!! I had to order some from the website and it's still just as good!

Absolutely amazing wine! The best wine on the Gatlinburg strip hands down. If you come in here be sure to ask for Pam! She’s the best and will help you out. My favorite wine from here is the strawberry creme’

Wow! So when we walked in I thought my husband would be the only one who would be tasting since well I'm allergic to peaches, apples and mangos and most places I go aren't sure what is in each wine, but no this guy right here (sorrey I forgot your name) was awesome! I got to try a list of safe wines for me and my husband tried ciders. He was hesterical! You have got to check them and their selections out.

Definitely a place to stop at if you are not a "real wine drinker". I have never found a wine I really liked until here. We tried a few, but I will definitely recommend Strawberry & Blueberry as being delicious. The chocolate & Strawberry cream ones are also good, but more of a dessert flavor.

We sampled wine at 4 places on the Parkway and this was our favorite! TJ was personable and helpful since we aren’t huge wine drinkers. The blackberry and strawberry wines were our favorites! We ended up going home with a bottle of the blackberry, which was perfectly sweet with a hint of tart.

Loved it. Bianca was awesome. Greeted me offered samples and knew every flavor sold. Made excellent suggestions based on my questions. Sold me 13 bottles. We just opened the first Blackberry wine today, and my husband loves it

We first had Tennessee Homemade Wines on a trip to Gatlinburg back in 2018. When we planned our most recent trip to Pigeon Forge, I just knew I had to get some more wine. It’s been years and I could still remember how good it was! We couldn’t find the Gatlinburg location when we went moonshine tasting and didn’t see it until we were already on our way off the strip. On our way out of town, we decided to stop at the Sevierville location and we were not disappointed! Bionca was so helpful with our tasting and helped us make sure we got exactly what we wanted. My mom tried a few that were too sweet for her, and Bionca knew exactly which one my mom would like instead. Between my mom and myself, we bought 12 bottles! And Bionca made sure we got the best deal on our purchases. I was excited to try the cotton clouds this time around, but our OG favorites are still peach, blueberry, and blackberry. We are also excited to try the raspberry and strawberry that we bought. Tennessee Homemade Wines is officially a must stop for us anytime we are near the Smoky Mountains!

Came here twice. First time I tasted and the show was good. Bought some of the peanut butter flavor. Brought my wife back to do the tasting and in doing so, we brought our kids; family vacation and all. Second tasting, with Chris (young dude that doesn't even look 21) was bad. Could tell from the jump he wanted nothing to do with us because we had our kids there. He was totally disinterested and honestly looked like he had just gotten out of bed. When we were done my wife had spilled a little and in mom mode, quickly wiped her spill up with a baby wipe she had in hand. Just trying to be nice. Chris must not have known I could overhear him when he quietly turned to another worker and said "yea not at my bar" followed by something muffled. If you don't want to deal with families with kids, even well behaved ones like mine, then don't allow them in. Probably not a smart move in a tourist trap town like Gatlinburg but that's up to you all. If you go in (with family) and get Chris, move to a different bar for what I can only hope is a better experience. Shine good, service not.

Great atmosphere, great selection and they offer samples for $5 and give you a $5 off coupon if you purchase any if they’re bottles. So basically samples are free. They also tell the story behind every flavor. Husband loved the place. Let’s just say we walked out with $100 less in our bank account :) Plus three purchase gets you a feee lunch box

Make sure to try the samples! I wanted to buy all the flavors! (insider tip - you can combine the two $5 coupons they give you from the sampling to use in the store!) The Elderberry was my fav a must try!!!

Honest (sober) review… this place had the best wings in town. If you are looking for wings this is the place. Get the blue cheese instead of the ranch for sauce. The pizza didn’t look good but we didn’t try it. The burger on a scale of 10 was about a 6 or 7. The prices were great. I don’t think you could regret it.

Great place to grab a bite after walking the strip! It is tucked away in a little shopping area. They have live music, a beautiful bar upstairs, friendly hosts and great food. Highly recommend the onion rings and cheese bread! The burger was cooked as ordered and drinks stayed full without prompting. Restrooms are very clean. Also recommend parking elsewhere, the area is tight and very busy.

We came here to watch the Falcons game after reading some reviews online we decided to give it a try they have the NFL Sunday Ticket and they also have their locally brewed beers..take a flight or 2! We had the garlic cheesy bread the quesadillas the Philly steak sandwich and the spinach and artichoke dip they were all fantastic.. Paul was our server who was covering multiple areas and he did an absolutely wonderful job and was very attentive.. Chelsea was nice and also checked in on us as well! A very good place to go catch a game grab a brew or just pick up something to eat.

I will always come to the brewery when I am in town. I enjoy the atmosphere, the staff, and the food. I really like the atmosphere! Definitely recommend this place.The wings and pizza are solid and they have a very very good fish-n-chips. They have a good variety of your not a beer drinker! They have parking available near by and if you shop within the complex your parking is free with receipt otherwise it’s $10.

Overall I was impressed. The food was tasty. The servers were very nice. However the temperature inside was very cold. It was also quite loud inside. I got the Brewhouse Burger with fries witch was pretty good. The burger patty’s were a bit small but the sauce was delicious.

I loved the porter! Actually went two days in a row! Ordered food the second time. Good was fantastic, too! The bar tender remembered us from the day before. Great place to visit. The Oriental chicken salad was great. The white pizza with chicken and spinach was great. I do recommend visiting! If you enjoy sports on tv.. there are many!

Waitress was awesome. The strawberry lemonade was crazy delicious. Now for the food. The steak was cooked so well and it was so tender you could practically cut it with a fork. The pizza well...look at the picture. The t-rex was everything you think of when you think of greasy, meaty, flaky crust goodness. I'm glad they are open late during slow season or else we would have never known about this second floor hangout.

Our service was pleasant. The food was mediocre. I expected better from the pizza, and my child that eats anything hardly touched his burger. Decent drink selection though!

Bianca (our waiter) was really nice, the food was great, the drinks were great. And just the whole place was enjoyable. Pizza is top tier, the fries weren't hot, but that isn't a complaint, the fries were perfect. Would come here again. More people should come here! What surprised me the most was how fast the food came. I was expecting it to take longer because of how great it tasted.

Excellent breakfast! We ended up eating around lunchtime there. We had a mix of breakfast and lunch items and they were all excellent! This breakfast skillet was great and the pancakes were nice and fluffy and had good flavor. The atmosphere is really cool and when we first arrived on the strip, the line was way down the road. Would definitely visit again to try other items! The food came out extremely fast, and the waitress was very kind. Five stars all around including the clean bathrooms 👍🏼

This is a Gatlinburg staple, a must visit if in town. The staff are super friendly and the food is amazing, very nice deco on the inside. I’m not sure when they opened their doors, but I can remember coming in the 1980s and it still has the same country charm. Plan early to come because they close around 3pm, and early morning you will find a line wrapped around the building. Breakfast is their specialty, however, they do have a lunch menu. They have plenty of seating in the restaurant with a beautiful vaulted ceiling near the front area. I would recommend the crepes, it’s a very thin pancake that comes with your choice of toppings…very yummy. Don’t miss this place if your in town

This is a great place to get breakfast!!! It is always good!!! Service is great!!! Our servers have always been super attentive!!! Food is really good!!! Pancakes are just about the best that I have ever had, and really the closest to homemade that you can get!!! I would definitely check them out when you are in the area! One word of caution. It is packed out during peak times and on weekends. But, they still keep things moving!

Love the pancakes here. But I do LOVE anything breakfast... Food is good and fun options to try. Attentive courteous staff even though it's always BUSY. I would subtract a star for the wait, but it wasn't that bad (less then 30 mins); and we knew that going in, as this was our second time. It is kind of a tourist thing but it's worth it at least once. Be mentally prepared to wait but relax and enjoy. Try the fresh squeezed orange juice!!

From the smooth peaches to the bold coffee everything is amazing. Eggs are fluffy to perfection with a very light colour. Pancakes are light, fluffy, and do not crumble. Teas is perfectly sweetened. Nothing is over done. The 10 minute wait for a table was well worth it. A 10 out of 10 would recommend. In two words "Simply amazing"!

A wonderful breakfast spot right off the Parkway in Gatlinburg. There are a ton of pancake places down here, but this one might be the best. They have dozens of types of pancakes, as well as crepes, waffles, french toast, etc. All the standard breakfast fare, and it's all delicious. Service is great, too.

Came at the right time! Brunch at 12pm. We have never tried lunch food here. The Black Jack Burger was great! We also had salad and the Usual breakfast for the kids. It was great as always!

Fantastic food! We stopped later and got sandwiches. They were AMAZING. Even the house made chips were amazing. The place is beautiful and very fairly priced! Definitely the bang for your buck. Loved it.

Those pancakes were so good my family loved it. Long line to get in if you are there for breakfast on a summer morning but worth the wait. Clean place and good customer service. Price value is not much so i guess all the 5 stars are because of a tourist spot!

A lot of people recommend this place, so I had high expectations, but my experience was just okay. I would recommend that because it is convenient to get a quick breakfast. I have tasted better pancakes than that before, but the service was great. Our server was excellent, and she was very patient. Our food didn't take long after placing our order, so that's a plus.

The experience was cool. Everything was themed from the movie Forrest Gump. The staff and waitress was great. I had high hopes for the food. Once we got our food, everything looked great but tasted just ok. Nothing special about it. I actually had an appetizer of steamed shrimp that is not pictured. We eat a lot of seafood so my expectations are high with seafood. It was a let down. I'm sure for the average person, the food is amazing. But for my group, the food filled a hole.

First time eating here but won't be the last. Coconut shrimp was absolutely delicious, as was the Lava Flow cocktail. Patricia was our server and she made wonderful recommendations. Quick seating and the food came out fast as well. Terrific experience!

Theming throughout was spot on. Caesar salad was served on a super chilled plate. That was a nice touch and I can’t recall the last time I got salad on a cold plate. Jambalaya was hearty with a perfect amount of kick and a full flavor. Presentation of kids meals on boats with jello really topped off the experience.

Stepping into this restaurant just took me back to my home land with beaches. I was immediately captivated by superb sea world ambiance. This restaurant truly offers an unforgettable seafood experience. Great food menu choices. I wish the qty would have been better but the taste was just amazing.

Wonderful place to visit and have a nice and tasty dinner. The service was great. We got our food fast and hot. And i absolutely loved their little store. They had such cool t-shirts and hats and even baby clothes!

When you walk up, there's a menu outside to look at. It was myself, my husband and our 11 year old son. I had decided I wanted the Shrimp and Grits. We went in. Took us a minute to get seated, and when we were, the waiter wasn't very talkative. He was just straight to the point. "What would you like to drink, and are you ready to order?" I knew then he wasn't friendly. I told him our drinks. I asked for a menu and laid them on the table. And said "I'll go get your drinks while yall look" I handed my husband the menu. We looked. Waiter came back with the drinks and asked of we were ready to order. I asked about the Shrimp and Grits. He said they only do that on certain days. My son got the kids chicken tenders which only came with 2. My husband ordered 4 pc temders, and I had the soup. I had a water my husband had a tea and my son got a child's Sprite. Which total order cost $47.62. Totally overpriced for the small amount of food that was given. I have been to Bubba Gumps before. This was an awful experience. We will never be back.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. My boyfriend and I wanted one REALLY nice and special dinner. We spent weeks reading reviews and trying to pick a place. I am beyond happy we chose Cherokee Grill. We did reservations before which I recommend. Once we arrived, we were seated right away. The place was clean and had a good aroma, decorations, and the dim lighting was perfect. Our waitress was AMAZING!! Our food was DELICIOUS, our food was hot and fresh, cooked just how we ordered it! The wait for food and drinks were on point. At one point a lady was walking around with flowers for sale which was so cute to get on our little date. Such a good night we saved up for.

Very good. Not the best steak I've eaten - Prosperity Steak. Others in my group were happy with their meals. Robin was our waitress and if the food hadn't been good she would have made the visit worth it. Parking is a trick but get a code at the restaurant to have free parking. Great location and atmosphere.

A solid choice for a casual meal out. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food quality is decent. The service is appropriately attentive. Initially, the $20 parking fee may feel excessive, but the restaurant softens the blow by providing a validation code at checkout for 3 hours of free parking. We especially enjoyed the ahi tuna salad with teriyaki sauce. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Can rarely find good steak with decent price now. This place is a 5 star for me!! Had steak with spinach mac&cheese, it was so good!! Also had fried chicken with blue cheese grits. Chicken was very juicy, breading was crunchy. Grits tastes like mac&cheese, so creamy and flavorful! Their service is the best!! We never had to ask for anything. They brought our refills whenever we were close to finish the drink. It was my first time in Gatlinburg, this restaurant made me love this city!

There are so many layers to this restaurant and I loved most of them. Starting off with the drinks the drinks were incredible even with having an old drink menu on our table the bar was still able to craft the drinks we ordered, and boy did they craft them. Drinks were spectacular. Then the appetizers came out along with the bread. Pro tip slice the bread and use it as bruschetta for the spinach artichoke dip. Incredible. Then comes the main course. This is where disappointment set in for me. Mashed potatoes were awesome but my mid rare steak was served on a hot skillet it was more medium at best and continued cooking as dinner went on. Service was awesome. Definitely worth it.

We made reservations and arrived and was seated promptly. Atmosphere was very cool and they did have actual gas (open flame) sconces on the pillars. Server was new and she did great and was very nice. It was great finding a place that was willing and able to do a virgin mojito. Virgin frozen drinks were just ok as they were not blended the best and had a lot of ice. Meals were great and flavorful. The kids like their meal but just know the online menu may differ from restaurant. Online it showed kids ribs but in the restaurant it did not. Definitely a solid 4 and worth checking out.

My husband and I really enjoyed the atmosphere relaxing and the food was full of flavor and to tell the truth the best. The southern fried chicken, garden gravy and macaroni n cheese with spinach was so very delicious. It is like grandmas cooking. The dessert was out of this world also 🤤 great service A+++

Great atmosphere, quality food and attentive service. I had reservations and requested a highchair and a sling for a carseat, everything was taken care of without having to remind the staff. Was seated promptly at the time of my reservation. Having two small kids, it is the small things executed really well that mean a lot, not to mention the delicious food!

After a LONG day touring we settled down for dinner at the recommend Cherokee Grill and Steakhouse. Absolutely one of the very best pieces of filet mignon ever. Bar tender made an excellent drink, appetizer was plentiful for two a d flavorful too. Steak done to perfection. Great staff too. Can't say enough.

Absolutely AMAZING! So good. Food looked just like the pictures. Ordered the seafood combo platter and my daughter ordered the pork chop. Asked for lemons, they came out like that.

This was a wonderful experience. The wait staff was exceptional and knew the menu very well. Provided the table with recommendations. The broiled seafood platter and the teriyaki sirloin were fantastic! The Ahi Tuna was a great appetizer. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Just had our anniversary dinner and it was fantastic as always. Susan is a true gem and they are lucky to have such a wonderful person! The crab cakes and ribeye are out of this world.....perfection! Susan surprised us with an ice cream Sunday for our anniversary... so thoughtful and much appreciated.

Ribs 7 out of 10 as they are slightly dry, and do not fall off the bone. But, flavor is good. Pulled pork is juicy, tender, and delicious. 9 out of 10 for the pulled pork due to need for more flavor. Chicken tenders were perfect 10 out of 10. Salad was fresh, and amazing 10 out of 10. Rolls were a little tough, and not very warm. 7 out of 10.

Went here with my family this past week and everything was absolutely wonderful. My 8 year old daughter insisted that I give it a five star review and advised that you ask for Izzy to be your server. She was attentive but not overly so and was accepting of the hug my daughter offered. Great food, great prices, great service. Definitely recommend!

Our food was very good,and the prices reasonable. Clean restaurant Great view of the mountains and downtown Gatlinburg. The ribs are as advertised...awesome.great pretzel appetizer and excellent grilled shrimp,fries,baked potato and Mac and cheese.Krisy our server was spot on attentive.

Friendly and attentive server. Huge portions. Food was delicious and not salty. They give you complimentary biscuit and rolls. Brisket was wonderful and not too lean. You need to specify how you like your meats. The banana pudding was wonderful and enough to share with the whole table.

We stopped in last night after a full day at Cades Cove before making our long drive to our yurt, and given the posted menu outside & and the recommendation we had received, we were looking forward to the meal. When we walked in, there was no one manning the front and no indication if we seat ourselves or wait. It didn't appear overly busy and the few waitresses we saw going back & forth didn't make eye contact. We waited a least 5 minutes & still no one. My hubby saw a gentleman clearing a table and he went over & asked him if we could get assistance getting a table. He said he'd get someone. Five minutes later, he came back and led us to the table he'd been clearing which he finished wiping it down and seated us. Was a bit damp to sit on but we were relieved to finally be seated. John (whom bused the table & seated us) became our waiter. My husband asked if they had hard cider which they didn't which he was disappointed with but John got him a fresh squeezed lemonade from the bar which was delicious. I had a pale ale which I enjoyed as well. John brought out a basket of assorted breads (biscuit, cornbread, and garlic dinner rolls) which were all nice. We ordered the bacon wrapped burnt ends with Calhouns bbq sauce that were substantial & delicious! Very tender and great taste in the meat and sauce. We both had the fried catfish and for sides, I had the Mac & cheese and my hubby had their baked beans. All was delicious and very filling. We opted to share their macadamia banana cream pudding for dessert and thank goodness we did! It was HUGE!!! As far as the restaurant itself, it was nice enough but could use some detailing (carpet cleaned, vents cleaned, etc). As far as our waiter John, he was very personable and made us feel comfortable and checked on us regularly. As far as the food, altogether it was delicious and I will be buying their spices and bbq sauce. What really brought the experience down was those first 10 minutes in the business. Given how slow it was, we shouldn't have had to go find someone to seat us and staff had clear vision to entrance who were working. As we were seated near the entrance, I'm happy to say others thankfully didn't have the wait like us. I'd like to say we would be back but given our experience and the fact of how many restaurants there in the town, we will likely try others before returning.

I am giving this a generous 2 star review. Our service was wonderful and the atmosphere was great. (We go to restaurants for food though). Unfortunately, the food was terrible. Someone called it a "tourist trap" and I couldn't agree more. My husband and I both ordered ribs; end result - we threw out about $50 worth of ribs (pictured are the ribs he could stomach to eat). We were chewing on it like jerkey. My husband's description was SPOT ON...he felt like Clark on National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation with the turkey. The 2 appetizers we got were very mediocre and my son's salmon was fishy and gross. I feel like those who gave this joint a 5 star review have never had ribs! So disappointing for the prices. Save your $ and go next door to Howard's.... it was MUCH better.

This place was amazing! We went twice in one day because it was so good. They had a special that was steak on a kabob and it was the most amazing, juciest, tender steak I have ever eaten! We also had the Brisket wrapped in bacon appetizer and it was very good. The fried fish and pork Chop plate was one of the best we've had in a long time. Calhouns is definitely a must!

Came in for the banana pudding, looked at menu saw the potato skins had to order them first! They were awesome! Banana pudding was amazing!!! Will definitely come back next time!!!

My husband and I decided to go in right after they opened on a Sunday to try Calhoun’s for the first time. We’re so happy we stopped by! We had the “Our Original WET Wings” for our appetizer and they were perfect! My husband tried the “Calhoun’s Trio” with mac n’ cheese and fried okra on the side, while I opted for the Southern-Fried Catfish with mashed potatoes and mac n’ cheese as my sides. We’ve tried quite a few restaurants here as locals and we both felt the meals here were far more satisfactory than other places we’ve experienced. We unfortunately didn’t save room for dessert, but we’ll definitely be back to try the banana pudding! By the way, our server Kristy was seriously amazing!
