Fort Lauderdale beach One of the most beautiful beaches to exist in the entire planet. One can easily debate how can just a beach be so different and beautiful and compared to other beaches, but what they fail to realise is what lies around the beach matters too. Fort Lauderdale is a bustling town with ever so humble people and full of culture. The beach road is lined with cool shacks and big big prestigious hotels that can cater to your wildest requests and host the most amazing parties you would have ever witnessesd. The beach itself is lined with beautiful lush green palm trees, that is perfect for photos and otherwise just guides you to the pristine white sand. The white walls that separates the road from the sand is divided into segments for tower areas with very thoughtful names and artistic gates. The water is clean all the year round. In monsoon months a number of turtle nests can be spotted. I was there at the fourth of July when the city hosted a beautiful concert with country and rock singers. I was also able to witness a turtle nest hatching which is beautiful. And at the night there were spectacular fireworks

We had so much fun! Nice beach! Parking was a bit challenging and expensive.

We came for the air show and this is my favorite beach I’ve ever been to! The sand was clean, the people were nice, and the water was perfect.

Miles of continuous sand beaches make this a very pleasant experience. The City of Fort Lauderdale has also made efforts to create dunes to protect against beach erosion. Some parts of the beach are more populated than others. If you are on the beach side of A1A you can walk or ride a bike the entire way.

South beach side avenue, full of great restaurants, bar and fun. Recommend a walk on the blvd. Light deco was amazing, not sure it was only for holiday season or all season.

I could literally stroll this Blvd all day long lol . Beautiful scenery, amazing dining , art and shopping . Grab a coffee and try , you won’t be disappointed

Had a ball shopping, eating/drinking and enjoying the beautiful view of oceanfront right across the street! Plenty of shops, eateries, drinks, posh hotels, and of course the oceanfront!

Lots of parking options some lots are costlier than others so my advice is to dig around a little before you go to find the best spot and hourly rate for you. Once there it is a blast! There’s tons of restaurants with ocean views to enjoy. Lots of people. Beautiful ocean. Shopping! The energy is great. You’ll definitely have a fun time here!

Very cool beach and my first experience visiting a Fort Lauderdale beach. Only negative was that it is quite crowded on the beachfront - at least on a Saturday in December.

Very beautiful and well maintained beach, a good variety of restaurants around, beautiful people! Perfect environment for both enjoying and relaxing! Recommend for everyone! Don't be surprised by the price of parking, everything good has its price!

Could be better but the we have no control of the ocean water lol needs clean up if brown weeds along the shore, sand as not as nice as the west coast or in the Caribbean. But better than no beach, so enjoy the atmosphere.

So far this is one of the places I enjoy the most. Any day, any purpose, any time of the year. The boulevard is great for a morning walking or running. The beautiful view, the music, the people, the service on every restaurant and the local stores make this place really enjoyable. The beach is great, warm, and beautiful, but very busy too. There is choice for renting chairs, plenty of restaurants, with a great variety of food. The service in this area is excellent. They have a high affluence during the whole year and therefore they are highly trainned to delivery the best service. Parking is available for a quote, somehow hard to find on weekends or busy time, but possible and completely worth it. Overall is an excellent place, on my opinion a great choice for a family time.

This is a really a nice play to go with friends and family, fortunately you don’t have to smell ilegal drugs like other beaches in Miami. There are good activities like jogging, swimming (sand is clean), exercise, walk and sightseeing. Also there are good restaurants with good prices. Only one thing to pay attention: pay your parking side on machines or on your mobile because there is a man who put fees really fast like I saw that day. Enjoy!

Plenty of parking, make sure you pay for enough parking time. Because people are ready to give tickets. There is showers to rinse out and restrooms to change. There is a restaurant and a pier in this beach. Pay $2 to get in pier and get a nice view of the beach. There is a lot of seaweed, its mother nature doing its thing.

Interesting story of this family's history. Not a swanky residence, it wasn't intended to be. A winter home designed for these creative souls. Nice walk of the grounds. A beautiful setting for events. Recommended if you're in the area. See what 19th, early 20th century life was like. Built based on the owners concept by the owner and helpers.

We did not get to see the whole "house" part. I understand that the docents are excited to impart their knowledge to the people visiting, but they should also read their customers better. I only wanted to look at the art. I don't need explanations and I really don't need someone following us into a room and then outside and down the walkway. It was really uncomfortable. How do you tell someone who works there to back off? Finally, it was 25 dollars per person, for a maybe 15 minute visit. We were there about an hour to "get our money's worth" but it was really over priced. The start the self.guided (supposedly) tour with a painfully boring video. We left before it was over. We just wanted to tour the house! Would not revisit.

What a wonderful place to visit. So well preserved and full of art. The courtyard is absolutely stunning. I love the story of the house and specially so many wonderful volunteers providing interesting facts in each room. I would definitely recommend this place for tourists and locals, worth every penny. If you come with kids they have a treasure hunt sheet with stickers, my daughters loved the activity.

Came here on Jan, there was no flowers at all. The garden looked extremely plain, the house had spider map on the windows. It doesn't worth $20 per person. On the bright side, I managed to take some nice pictures.

The house and garden are very beautiful! The staff was very kind and helpful. Tickets for adults are $20. The only thing that could be improved is I thought the video explaining the history of the house was a little too long.

Such a must-see visit. What a nice expérience to see this property untouched - or almost - hidden among the middle of skyscrapers in Fort Lauderdale. Such an insight into the lives of the riches from the early 20th century and lovely pieces of art. The garden is incredible, and everyone working there is very passionate about the estate's history. This is often used for weddings and I can see why.

Beyond excellent customer service, amazing architecture, beautiful gardens, so much nature, informative video, reasonable prices ($10 to walk around, $25 to see it all), and the art work.. you have to come see this huge hidden gem. So much history and elegance. I can not wait to come back and see more. With the little time I had it was hard to fully see and #enjoy it all but what I did see made me so grateful for the opportunity and happy to be an American. When you come you will see why. The Bonnet House Museum and Gardens is a treasure. I was blown away visiting this lush and beautiful 35 - acre subtropical estate. The tour was educational, informative and historical. I am eager to learn more by reading Bonnet House: a Legacy of Artistry and Elegance because I found the owner's history fascinating. The House has delightful decorative elements in each room and the courtyard is serene and stunning. It was not crowded on a Sunday in September. They have it lit up for Christmas for several nights in December, and they hold concerts outside Jan - March. I can't wait to go back !

The Bonnet House Museum is a truly wonderful piece/place of 1900's Ft. Lauderdale and expanded history. If you have a pleasant day, temperature wise, I highly recommend visiting this beautiful house and grounds. The house is breathtaking and the surrounding grounds are even more incredible! The staff are remarkably friendly and accommodating...and everywhere if you have a question. They are also very knowledgeable and if they don't know the answer to a history to a particular area/item they will find out for you. This is also a wonderful place for a wedding and after reception...not to mention you are close to the beach and many beautiful places to stay afterwards! They do offer rides around certain areas which is helpful if you have any walking issues...there is a lot of walking to do, so much to see! They have free parking on site so you don't have to pay for parking like outside the residence. And they do have closer handicapped parking towards the entrance to the visitor's/reception area...but it's still a bit of a walk. There's lots of shade but on a real warm humid day it could be rough...so dress lite and breezy. It costs $25 per adult...not sure if kids are less. It's so worth an afternoon, but just remember to check the website for hours of operation, Friday was 11am to 3pm. Be safe all.

Awesome historical site. Beautiful to walk around and see. This is an artists history of his individual family. Our problems that it was so expensive, yet most of it was closed down and for what it was, it wasn't worth it to pay to get into the house. Neat to see, worth it once, but probably won't return...

Fascinating place! Fred, our informative guide, was knowledgeable and accommodating. (I took many pictures and some videos and did not feel rushed.) The grounds and gardens of Bonnet House are lush and peaceful. The house is unique; its rooms are scattered among several buildings. Each room, building and veranda are decorated inside and out by the world-traveling owner and his wife. Both loved shells. Their impressive Shell Museum holds shells from around the world. The caretaker"s house is a trip back in time, with its Singer foot-pedal sewing machine. galvanized tub with ringer washing "machine", and wooden ironing board. There is a well-done video of the house's history. The rooms are air-conditioned. The gift shop has a nice assortment of quality items, and the Café offers fresh sandwiches, drinks, and ice cream. The $25 self-guided QR codes tour admission fee sounded a bit steep at first. Then, the welcome center person showed a map of the estate. Seeing how vast the property was, I opted for the guided tour admission fee ($30) and was not disappointed. It was 2-3 hours well-spent!

Beautiful preserved place to go! Tickets are $25 but if you are local you get a discount. They are working on property at the moment but you can still go and see the main house and some more places. This is definitely a way to go for a date or just to do something different

This museum is lovely for children under twelve and over age one year old. This is a children's museum for children and their parents who are there to supervise them. I paid for my ticket online before the doors opened for visitors. The best experience was the weather/news caster exhibit, otter living exhibit, the movie theater I watched a documentary that was included in my entrance ticket and one or two other exhibits. I did not visit the cafe or gift shop on site. As an adult this was very underwhelming for me. There's several outdoor spots for families to have lunch. I decided to go across the street to the beautiful open park. I sat under the pillars near the water fountain display and that gave me some vitamin d and a wonderful view of boats on the lake, people walking by and beautiful sky. I saw the taxi boats that tourists can pay to ride to different locations and restaurants. I will try when I visit fort Lauderdale again. There were public statues to take pics at, water fountains and restrooms. I didn't get the name of the park but it is directly across the street from this museum and made a great place to eat lunch and think about my next place to visit.

We discovered the place and it is amazing.. We loved it because is very entertaining, not only for kids but also for adults. You can learn about tornados behavior or from the nature and wild life. Technology is available and to know how thing works 100% recommend

It's an ideal place for small kids. I made the mistake of creating high expectations based on my prior museum experience in cities like DC or New York, but to be fair it is a pretty good museum. I would have preferred if it had more space because the exhibits seem jumbled together. It has exhibitions pertaining to wildlife, dinosaurs, renewable energy, health, aviation and the sort. They have a cafe and a gift shop outside. I would not pay $24 again for it, that's for sure, but it serves its purpose.

Lots of hands-on and educational exhibits for kids. There are a number of simulators that also make this a fun experience. They have IMAX theatres, a place for snacks and a decent gift shop. The atmosphere is nice. You could easily spend several hours here.

We have come here many times over the years when the kids were young and now that the kids are older we watch for the traveling exhibits and look to see some of those. This particular visit we also saw a IMAX now playing motion picture which is a great way to see a high resolution movie. I highly recommend you visit MODS if you have kids under 11.

Its a nice museum for young kids (2-10) with at-least 2-3hrs of entertainment not including the free i-max video (+45mins). So plan to pay for 3-4hrs of parking. It has 2 floors with activities and exhibits separated by areas. It also has a nice outdoor area with different activities. Less then 100$ for a family of 4. The exhibits are a big old and quite a few broken but the kids (especially my 4yr old) loved it and didn’t want to leave. Overall worth the visit of you are in the area.

The Saturday we visited, it looked like it was undergoing renovations and had a very small crowd. Surprisingly, even the famous outdoor clock in the patio was not working. We have enjoyed going here since this place was built. (First with my son and now with my 16 month old grandson.) It has been many years between the last visit to now. Based on what it used to be in its heyday, many if not all of the permanent exhibits desperately need a re-fresh. Several were not working and/or had missing parts. Staff was scarce and the few that were there looked overwhelmed trying to keep up with everything. A positive was that the animals in the exhibits were well cared for. It is shame the interest (or funding) isn't there to restore this treasure to the once thriving place it used to be.

We had a blast. This museum offers a variety of activities for all ages. Also, you have access to IMAX documentaries available until 3:00pm. Don’t forget to choose your documentary at the time of purchasing your ticket.

My 9 year old had fun with the aviation exhibit. He even got a private science demonstration. I'd give this place a 5 star review if more of the exhibits were working. I'd estimate that 20-30% of the exhibits were either out of service, missing parts, not fully functioning (lights burnt out etc) or damaged. For the price we paid, I was a little disappointed.

Been to Fort Lauderdale twice - been here twice. Would come back again. At first blush, it seems like it would be a tourist trap with over priced, average seafood, watered down drinks and quick to rush service. Nothing could be further from the truth. Good food. Good drinks. Good service (wait staff is much nicer than the front of house, so don't get turned off, too soon). And oh yeah....a ridiculous view. Three of us shared two appetizers. We each had two drinks. And everyone had an entree. The bill was less than $280 with tip. Free valet is a pleasant surprise.

This place was our first stop in Ft Lauderdale and it was a highlight. Everything was spectacular, the atmosphere, the service and the drinks were great. The food was beyond fresh and well prepared, we couldn't ask for higher quality! The $5 valet was a great addition!

We visited this location again since we are in town to board our cruise. The lobster rolls are everything here. It was so fresh and delicious. The spinach dip was really good, too. Mister tried this sausage dressing g they have, and he stated it wasn't too great. The service was great, and all the staff was very attentive. Our waitress never said her name. But she was great. Parking is $5 for 2 hours, anything more will be $25. The valet guys were sociable and very funny. We will always come back for the lobster rolls 😋😀

Fantastic spot on the water with a lively restaurant and attentive staff. We arrived without a reservation on a Friday night and were seated by the water immediately. They asked us if it was okay if we were seated in the sun before bringing us to the table, which was fine because the sun set within twenty minutes of us sitting down. Great selection of fresh seafood and very large portions. Definitely will be going again the next time I am in the area!

Always a fantastic experience. The food, beverages and the view. So much to love about the crew that believes in and works for the "be nice" company. Mojitos are always fresh and the food is perfect for any time of the day. Go for the food and drinks, savor the view and laugh with the crew! If you sit on the dock, say hi to the tarpon swimming under the dock :)

Loved this restaurant. The seafood was exceptional and I'm so glad we decided to try this place. The Scoobies were a big hit as were the grilled oysters. We tried the coconut cheesecake and peanut butter pie that were both delicious. Service deserves 7 stars as they were so attentive and quick to respond.

ABSOLUTELY incredible!! We came here while on vacation and everything was incredible. Our server was great and kept us hydrated after a long day of day-drinking. The conch chowder was delicious. The conch & shrimp fritters were perfectly crunchy, with a fluffy interior. The coconut shrimp were flavorful and not too heavy. I had the jerk swordfish with a tropical crab sauce on top. I am still dreaming about it! My husband thoroughly enjoyed his crab cakes and New England Clam Chowder. We took a piece of key lime pie to go. It made the perfect late night snack! You can’t beat this place. We look forward to returning.

Be nice, my first eat in Fort Lauderdale, extremely amazing staff, like others mentioned, they are pretty chilled and attentive, I had coconut shrimp and conch fritters for appetizer and Bermuda triangle margarita doubled for drink, the best part is lobster roll, with a side of cucumber salad and grilled corn, scrumptious! Be nice and you'll be treated nice!

Fantastic dining experience. We were very impressed with everything. Staff was friendly, food was phenomenal, and atmosphere was great. We eat at a lot of very nice restaurants and this one was affordable and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Nice place, nice selection of good wines at decent prices, very friendly staff, great cocktails too. Had the grilled octopus and, judging by it and other reviews, all else is likely really good too. I would just add live music, but then you probably couldn't get a table. 😉. Definitely worth coming back. Great views of intracoastal. Everyone looks happy and having a great time, even kids. Good stuff...

Coconut shrimp, lobster roll, and mac and cheese were all delicious! One of the best meals that I had this past weekend while in the area. I definitely recommend! Many items on the menu are market price. Our table wished that the prices of these items would have been included on the little printout with the daily specials to help us make a decision while ordering since it was hard to remember everything our waitress told us.

We found this place by searching Google. We came on a Friday night at 5:30pm and had to wait 30 minutes. They don't take reservations so be sure to get there early before the crowds arrive. This is a very popular place right on the intercostal waterway. It's also a water taxi stop. They have parking, however it's valet and very few parking spots. We were glad that we walked from our hotel. They have a good selection of seafood dishes. If you're in a group, try different items on the menu to share. The oysters are decent however, they are smaller in size. We were surprised that their key lime pie was underwhelming. Overall, it was a good experience. Our server was excellent. He was attentive and gave great recommendations.

Came in on a busy Friday night and sat within 30 minutes. I appreciate the Valet for not being overpriced like most restaurants. The staff is top notch. My friends were celebrating and wanted “pickle backs” which is Jameson and Pickle juice shots and the bartender went above and beyond to make it happen for us. We all ordered a special and it was AMAZING. If you come you must get at least 2 orders of Scoobies!

What a wonderful restaurant!! My wife and I had dinner there while passing through town Sits right across from the beach, with indoor seating, and wonderful outdoor seating. They've created a very comfortable atmosphere Service was top notch. Everyone was nice, and our server was very attentive Started with a French onion, along with the house bread basket. Both were delicious. For my entree, I had the rosemary chicken pasta; it was delicious! My wife had the walnut chicken and said it could be one of the best meals she's had Highly recommend

Excellent location, sat on patio, street side. Hot evening but the ocean breezes were cool. Joel our waiter was excellent. Super attentive & charming. Happened to visit on wine Wednesday so we enjoyed a bottle of red at 1/2 price. My husband had Brie wrapped in phyllo loaded with fruit. I had the mussels. The mussels were small in size but it’s blue cheese, sun dried tomato broth was differently delicious. The eggplant ravioli was so good. My husband had the walnut chicken that he enjoyed very much. The appetizers & mains were superior to the dessert, but overall a great experience & highly recommend it. All the people there were very hospitable & gracious. Great walk over from many of the area hotels. It does feature live music (piano) and I was happy we sat curbside far enough from it so I was able to carry on a conversation easily.

My friend and I went here for dinner this evening. It was a lovely evening out. Our waitress was wonderful. SORRY BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER HER NAME. The manager Greg was a very kind and helpful person. Our meals was delicious. I had the Lamb Shank it was very good. My friend had the Ravioli. She loved it. I also ordered the Escargot. It was 👍 👍 👍. I will definitely go back here whenever I am in South Florida again.

Hey now! If you want great service and excellent food, stop here and enjoy. The general manager, who is also the wine curator dude was super nice and helpful. He took care of us big time. The bartender waitress Katie was very sweet and hooked us up with what we needed so quickly it was unreal. She was awesome! The food was great! Entertainment was awesome. She played so many good songs!

I ordered the eggplant ravioli and OMG it was divine. From the look of other food orders in nearby tables everything looked amazing. The view adds to the charm. They had live music starting at 6.30 at she was playing great 80s hits. The overall atmosphere was a bit loud for my taste but that's a subjective thing.

Gorgeous!! …. !! This beautiful converted home from the 20s is gorgeous in every way. The spiral staircase, The little balconies, each different dining room. The Hostess as she takes you to your table, tells the history of this place. We were fortunate enough to be seated at the upper level balcony we were able to enjoy the Beautiful views of the Ocean. We had just enough of the sun to keep us warm on this lovely chilly day. The waitress, was very friendly and accommodating! The food was prepared,and plated perfectly. You must try the Marzipan cheesecake, Delicious! Definitely my all-time favorite! Looking forward to coming back to this rare and exquisite fined .

Was soooo good! Has the best experience here. The food was amazing. We got to sit outside and the view is incredible. The whole place has an old time feel that just makes you feel at home. The staff was incredible. Definitely recommend getting reservations, it can get really crowded!

Excellent choice for any meal. The location overlooking the ocean is enhanced by the charming setting. Authentic Moroccan decor. Menu is very nice & prices are very fair. Apparently no reservations but we were seated immediately for 1pm lunch The service is very good. The Mahi handheld was awesome as was the shrimp salad Louis. Fresh seafood with fresh vegetables. Excellent choice

This unique place has been here as long as I can remember! Great place for family’s, dates and everything in between! Situated nicely with water views. Seating outside and also inside. Very busy. Don’t be fooled this place is not cheap! We had the king crab legs , very fresh and delicious. Only downside is we had to look for any wait staff, ask for everything and wait , wait and wait ! For the prices they change, should be receiving better service!

Three for lunch. Ample sized parking slots and a big lot. Greeted and seated with a table outside. Service was excellent as our drink orders were taken right away. The daughter had the Mai-Mai with fresh vegetables. A very generous serving of both fish and vegetables. The wife ordered shrimp scampi with fettuccine in red sauce. Again, it is a very generous serving with a lot of shrimp. I ordered the Friday shrimp special. Shrimp 3 ways. Grilled shrimp, shrimp in old bay spice, and garlic butter sauce. Cole slaw and potatoes in a bowl. Ice tea for all with lunch. Reasonable prices and quality food.

We all had a great celebration dinner last night at The Rustic Inn. It was our sons choice to celebrate here. I had my second date with my husband 26 years ago here and we celebrated our son's graduation here with friends and last night we were celebrating our son's marriage to his sweet girlfriend. We had a great dinner and a great time. We had a wonderful server I believe his name was Dave . It can be a little pricey but if you like crab and banging hammers on the table you will love this iconic restaurant!

This place has been around for a while. The fish was fresh. Shrimp and crab were also good. The sides - the potatoes, were bland and way too buttery. This place is a classic but not something I can rave about. Service is average. Drinks are average. It’s a staple in history but aside from the actual seafood, everything else isn’t all that. However, it pays to have some drone fish with some nice outside view of the water.

We went to Rustic Inn for my husbands birthday (with 4 adults + 3 kids) while staying nearby in Hollywood Beach! We were seated quickly, the food was amazing & the service was top notch! I personally loved the stuffed jumbo shrimp & others in our party had lobster, steak & crab, which they all said was delicious! We loved the outdoor seating. You will not regret eating here! An added bonus is that they had someone taking photos at each table & you get a free copy — I’ve attached ours to this review! 😆

We visited for a friend’s birthday it was nine of us. Staff was nice , food and drinks were very good. Conch fritters, fried gator , fried fish, scallops, grilled chicken, cocktail shrimp, fried shrimp. Only downside is the heat a/c doesn’t seem to be working well for the amount of traffic this place gets.

The food was good and tasted fresh. Steve my server was attentive and gave good recommendations. I did not have the crab legs, but i saw plenty of heaping plates full next to smiling faces. Frog legs were perfectly fried. Everything was well seasoned. The outside area next to the water provided a nice atmosphere. Lots of history on the walls.

Came here with my family and really enjoyed all the seafood! Portions are huge. We started off with two dozen oysters (so fresh and flavorful). My brother and I shared the Alaskan king crab and crab sampler. The crab was fantastic, and we shared quite a big with our family since it was so much food!! The rest of my family shared the seafood pasta and appetizer sampler, which all 6 of them finished together. It was plenty of food for sure!! My family has a huge appetite and we had a hard time towards the end finishing everything!! This place is super fun to come to as a family. Service was great as well.

I can say the garlic crab here is so so good! Must try if you are in the area. We tried lunch combo crab (forget the name) but they should know what it is if you want to order. They only have one lunch combo crab in the menu. It was good! We tried grilled blackened mahi2 wasn't really good and prefer the fried seafood platter. The fried scallops was good. They also have some weekday special that you should check it out. The restaurant itself is unique has a bit of older vibes. They have bar sections but we sat outdoor, was the best decision. We saw some boat come in and out the small river from the sea I guess. And you can actually park your boat to eat there.

We have been hearing about this place since we moved here and decided it was time. I absolutely love this seafood joint. The interior is like you took a step back in time to an old new England clam/lobster shack. Our server, Russell, was on point, made good suggestions, was attentive without being intrusive, so 5* to service. The food was off the chain delish and VERY plentiful, fresh, and cooked to perfection, so 5* for food. The atmosphere was fun and friendly, and everyone around us seemed to be just enjoying life, so 5* for that too! If you've never gone and love seafood go NOW!! Just my 2 pennies🫡

Amazing experience! On vacation with the family (children 7 & 9 years old). We were seated outdoors on the deck. The view was beautiful! Crab leg platter was sufficient and delicious. Calamari, frog legs, and gator tail did not disappoint. The kids even ate some saying it was good! The lobster bisque was a bit disappointing, but the server removed it without hesitation. Of course hitting the mallets on the table was their favorite part. Our server was attentive and on point with all our requests and needs. Will certainly return! Clean facilities. Family friendly. Be ready to spend for all the seafood options.

We came a for my employee’s birthday while on a business trip to Ft. Lauderdale, and we had lots of fun here. The place is decorated well, and has a festive and friendly atmosphere. We were a little surprised they didn’t do anything at all for her birthday, but oh well. The food was good, especially the lobster quesadilla. The crab enchiladas were ok, and nobody else liked the octopus tostada other than me. My wife and I also enjoyed the grouper. Drinks were good, and prices were quite reasonable considering the location. Overall we’d recommend it if you’re in the area.

A Disappointing Experience at Lona Restaurant I regret to say that my recent dining experience at Lona Restaurant fell significantly short of expectations. Upon arrival, we were met with a surprising lack of hospitality. There was no welcoming greeting, and we found ourselves wandering around in search of assistance. The experience was made all the more frustrating due to the disarray among the staff. Their apparent lack of communication led to confusion over seating availability, adding an unnecessary layer of discomfort to the hot day. The quality of the food was rather hit-and-miss. While the guacamole was truly delicious, the shrimp tacos lacked flavor and were compromised by an excessive sauce. Furthermore, the addition of fresh cabbage to the shrimp resulted in an odd and unsettling taste. Regrettably, the burgers also left much to be desired, being on the dry side. A major issue was the loud music that overpowered any potential for conversation. Equally concerning was the general cleanliness of the restaurant. Our table had a noticeably dirty bench, and the floors were in need of attention. Adding to the inconvenience, there were no restrooms within the restaurant itself. We were directed to use the hotel facilities which were located at some distance away. On a brighter note, our server was attentive, caring, and provided helpful service. Despite the problems we faced, his professional demeanor was appreciated and provided a silver lining to our experience. In conclusion, the management at Lona Restaurant needs to take serious steps to improve on the areas of hospitality, cleanliness, and food quality. The staff's disorganization and the unwelcoming atmosphere significantly impacted our dining experience. It is my hope that the issues highlighted in this review are addressed promptly, for the sake of future patrons.

The Sunday brunch exceeded our expectations! It's easily one of our all-time favorites. Despite arriving 20 minutes early for our 11:45am reservation, the staff graciously seated us right away. The buffet boasts an impressive variety, from the taco station with a delightful selection of meats to the mouthwatering omelets, waffles, and an array of yummy tiny desserts. The Margaritas and Bloody Marys were delightful, and they definitely added to the overall cheerful atmosphere. Other than the beautiful views, one of the aspects that made our experience memorable was the talented mariachi band. I highly recommend having some cash on hand as they accept song requests, and their performance was simply outstanding (we wished we had more than the $15 tip we gave them). The entire staff radiated warmth and energy, making our visit even more enjoyable. Both my partner and I left with the same thought: we’ll definitely return, considering the exceptional value we received.

I went to Lona with some friends on a very busy holiday and we were satisfied. The ambience and staff were amazing. Our food did take long to come out but they made up for it with the house chips and salsa (a lot of it). The chips you can tell are made in house and they were fresh and delicious. We ordered different dishes to share and some of them like the guacamole with bacon were lacking flavor. Our agreed on favorite was the steak faitjas!! The nachos with added brisket was nice too. I would add if you are ordering a dish with chips just keep in mind the chips they give you when you arrive so you don’t get tired of the chips when it’s time to eat your actual food. All in all I would suggest you give them a try for a nice evening out with family/friends

Great experience, Britney was super nice and accommodating. The food is great! Lobster Quesadilla was just amazing, fish tacos were good, the avocado salad was a bit dry and tasteless. The view, atmosphere and service can’t be beaten.

Great place to have lunch outside with a view! The service was great. I had salsa with chips. A fantastic drink with blackberries and lime. I had a pork and pineapple stuffed burrito with rice in it, delicious! Great atmosphere. I will definitely be back for dinner next time I'm in town.

Great place to go eat! Especially on weekends when you have buffet until 4pm for $50 all you can eat. Fantastic food, chicken, salmon, meat, salads and of course deserts just fantastic. Very busy yet it didn't take long for us to get a table. You may have to pay for parking though, but it will be only $7 for 3 hours if you park at the hotel right next to the restaurant. For sure there will be another visit to this place. 😀

Nice place with great beach view if you decide to stay outside. Service is ok but the atmosphere of the place is great with good background music, clean areas, nice decorated place, and best views just in front of the beach. Food was ok, I loved the fajitas. La Cruda cocktail was good and well recommended with bourbon, vermouth and ginger beer. We also tried the volcan cake which was really good to close our visit to Lona Cocina Tequileria.

First what an amazing set up this restaurant has. Can't beat eating while watching the ocean. I ordered the drunken grouper. It was good but not sure it was $35 good. The servers took a long time to bring our drinks to us and it wasn't busy. Instead they where all standing around talking. My wife ordered Mexican salad with chicken. When she cut into her chicken it was not cooked all the way. Sent it back and got regular salad. The salad was good but we paid full price still. Not thrilled about the service or prices for what you get.

Best food I’ve had all week. Joe’s Skillet was just like the Seafood platter but without the pasta, it was the perfect amount of food and so delicious. Miles was one of our servers, we had 3 taking care of us. I felt like a superstar. Great atmosphere! My friends had the fish tacos! They said they were really good. We shared the alligator and it’s worth getting. The flavor was great. Loved this place!! Highly recommend!

We had some good food today. The area the restaurant is in is perfect. Seeing all the boats drive by & docking right in front of you is a gem. This is a kid friendly restaurant as well. The fried shrimp where a nice size. Our server was nice and took care of us. You MUST feed the fish off the side of the dock. $5 & $12 bags of shrimp seems reasonable to me.🍤🍤🍤🍤

Great time to go is around 3pm. Great seating with a spectacular view of the water. Lots of boating to view and polite servers. I had usual salmon and daughter had crab cakes. The lobby was very inviting and spotless! Felt good to be there.

What an amazing experience dining at the upstairs dinner at 15th Street Fisheries! All things we’ve tried was fantastic. You can tell that the chef at the kitchen really did put attention to their creations. The most juicy and tender fried Calamari! Our waiter Alfred was attentive and entertaining. Left thinking about when should we come back to try the downstairs dockside dining experience. Complimentary valet is helpful.

Second time at this spot. First time we ate downstairs and left us feeling meh and underwhelmed. fast forward to this trip I made a reservation for the upper restaurant NOT realizing it was the same place from our 2022 visit. On arrival there is complimentary valet as parking is hard at the end of the road area the restaurant is. I'm so glad I made this mistake as the upper dining room is worlds better (food/ambiance). We had a water view table in the back room and were met with drinks and menus. Husband ordered fresh Grouper and I had the scallops with orzo pasta. Both were fresh, full of flavor and not overly seasoned or oily. Kids menu was expansive enough for our picky eaters and coloring menus kept them happy. Service was a little slow for our taste on a light Tuesday night at 8pm and by the time we had dinner and she pried us for dessert it was 9:20 and we were over it. I would recommend for those who want fresh large servings with bright flavors and interesting compositions.

Quick trip to Fort Lauderdale this weekend to celebrate my birthday and our first stop was 15th fisheries and it should be yours as well. Beautiful environment located on the inter coastal with all the views you’d hope to see. And to make that view better was amazing food and service. We started with the clams which came with two pieces of grilled bread to soak up the wine sauce - chefs kiss. Next we had the southern version of a vegetable - the wedge salad - crisp and covered in creamy dressing and finished the night off with the scallops and orzo pasta. I don’t think you could make a bad choice with their menu but all of our selections were top choice. They even brought dessert for our celebration 🎉

This restaurant has a great tasty Sangria! Great place for seafood. Enjoy lunch or dinner with an amazing view to the bay. Don't worry about parking, the vallet is great. If you love live music, there's always someone there for the entertainment! Also, children will love the experience to see how the fish go crazy when fed. ✨️🍷

Absolutely amazing food and drinks. We had a 5:30 reservation and upstairs portion of the restaurant was empty (which is odd because open table gave me hell to book a table) but our server was extremely attentive, the drinks were strong and flavorful and the food was great. The ambiance upstairs was also extremely fitting for a night out with friends/family or a date night. Can’t speak for downstairs but it seems more casual. Also really nice to see the tarpon but I didn’t feed them - next time!

This review is for downstairs. We came around 7 on a tuesday. There was no wait for indoors but a 30 min wait for outside seating. We sat inside. Cool views. The salmon was very fresh. We thought the tacos were decent. Both of the chowder were good but we liked the New England one better. Strong and tasty martinis.

So we found out that the upstairs menu is the difference from the downstairs menu. This review is strictly for downstairs I may update after we try upstairs at a later date. See pictures for samples! Food was okay nothing to right home about we had the joe sizzlers sample shrimp, mahi mahi and salmon $27+ meal <-- I do not recommend it because it was not worth the price point, however it was not awful just not what you expected for $30 it tasted more like a $17 meal from a red lobster type of menu. Also we had the grouper sandwich the fish was very nice but the brioche bun was kind of hard, brioche should normally be very soft and smooth, it was not. Also we had the grouper fingers for the kids serving size feeds a half of kid 2+ it was ok but not as good as the grouper sandwich price difference was $9 vs $19. The vegetable side are ok but need light seasoning. Last the brownie dessert was a good 7 out of a 10 ranking and yes I've had a 10 out of 10 brownie before! For people who like moist brownie it half and half bready/moist a moist lover might give it a 8 out of 10. The servers are great very nice service 👌!! Next time we'll try the uppity upstairs menu The view is awesome day and night and it was a rainy day when we went. FYI you can also feed the fish on the boardwalk.

Very nice and calm atmosphere. The views from the windows were amazing. We were watching gorgeous yachts and boats. We ordered one of the seafood salads, but I wasn't satisfied. But crab cakes were delicious! Service was good
