Dubrovnik

The walled city of Dubrovnik is an incredible place to discover. It is often called the "Pearl of the Adriatic," and is simply stunning. Around Dubrovnik are massive stone walls built in the early 16th century to defend the city against Ottoman invasion. From the walls, you can see the Adriatic and ancient buildings that still stand, many of which are churches, fortresses, and towers from the Middle Ages.
