It’s a sad place I have to say, you’ll find a lot of information of the sad event by either watching some short movies/documentaries or by walking the museum and reading the information and seeing the picture. There are two floors, the upper floor mainly has the view of the Elm street and the surrounding and different places where you can watch movies about the incident. It’s mostly like a big hall compared to the main floor where you can observe some exponats. At the time of my visit, there were many people, we had to wait in line a little , however, it went by pretty quick. The ticket to enter was $18 for adult.

Admission was $18 before fees and taxes in September 2023. I thought that was a fair price. It took me about an hour to go through. There was no time limit on how long you could look around. To stand at those windows and look down at the parade route was beyond words. It was a very quiet and somber museum. I enjoyed the films and footage that they were playing in the different sections of the museum. There is a bookstore on the main floor, I thought it was tasteful.

This museum is well planned. The displays are professional looking. They focus mainly on the assassination. However, there are all of two panels on the conspiracy theories, which I think deserve more attention. There are literally thousands of documents citing evidence on this topic. That was an unfortunate choice. Staff were very friendly, and the gift shop has a nice assortment of products. Great experience! It's my third time to visit.

It was too crowded on. Weekday at 1pm. Hardly had space to stand and read the exhibits. I guess it was because of the SC2022 crowed. The good - informative, good insights, exhibits and information, also it was an actual side gave another perspective. The bad - writings were too long to stand and read, some people can't stand for hours just to read the material. It was a good idea to show some of the videos, those were good but the text was bit too much. Could be replaced with audio guides. Parking - paid (I guess it was $10) Ticket price - $18 for adults and we had a 5 years kid with us, they charged $14 (youth). I reminded them that he is 5 years and she re adjusted the price.

Great museum. Highly recommend if you want to learn about the assassination of JFK. Information is well presented and very educational. I really enjoyed watching all the video presentations too. It took me just over 2.5 hours to go through everything and I love that with timed entry they don’t overcrowd the museum.

Great museum, lots of historical information on the tragic day of JFK's death. It was very busy on the weekend. The building has great views of Downtown Dallas and surrounding areas. I would recommend you visit if you like history.

Upon confirming my trip to Dallas I was most excited about visiting this museum and it definitely did not disappoint. Obviously the historical significance alone would be worth the visit but the educational aspect of the museum is spot on and really helps paint the full picture of the events that led up to the assassination, what transpired after, and who may have had a motive to kill JFK. I would plan on spending at least 90 minutes here to truly experience everything this awesome museum has to offer.

The Sixth Floor Museum located in Downtown Dallas is a very interesting museum that provides a lot of information of John F. Kennedy ranging from when he was born to the conspiracy theories after he died. There are a few places around that will show video of the assassination and the aftermath. I think it's very informative and a fun time for anyone who is interested in Dallas history or the Kennedy family. I do wish that the line for tickets and to be let in after buying tickets could be faster but I understand that they probably don't want it to be too crowded as certain areas were crowded.

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday the other day. We’ve talked about going for years now. We’re both from Dallas yet have never been. I’m so glad we finally went! It’s a self guided/paced tour which is absolutely perfect. It can take quite some time to read through everything and watch all the videos, but definitely worth it if you want the full effect. There was just so much to see and learn. Even if you think you know everything about Kennedys death, once you go here, you realize you really don’t. It’s amazing. It’s a part of history, and it’s amazing to be in an area where history, insanely sad history, took place. It definitely makes you feel lots of emotions. So glad they’ve made the building into a museum and I hope all who get the chance can tour it! It’s well worth it.

It took my new fiance and mother to this beautiful place by recommendations from my sister. We thoroughly enjoyed it, the weather was pretty good for that day and there was plenty of things to look at and enjoy. We wish there were more water fountains available is the only thing and maybe some misting fans. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the shade though and photo shoot opportunities. I give this place a four and a half Stars!!

We enjoyed a delightful summer evening of music by the Coppertones at the Twilight Tuesday event. The gardens are lush and green. The beautifully landscaped flower beds are bursting in color. I highly recommend a visit!

If you like flowers, you’ll love the Arboretum. In Springtime the tulips and hyacinths are so gorgeous and plentiful. There are many other flowers at this time but those really catch your eye. In the Fall they have the biggest display of pumpkins I have ever seen. The grandchildren love running around and taking in all the beauty and exploring the property. Great place to visit, no matter the seasonal.

I went there to celebrate my birthday recently and had a wonderful time! I love nature walks, so I really enjoyed it. Parking wasn't bad. The food is reasonably priced. This must really be a hot spot for quinceanera, prom and graduation photos! I will bring my daughter there for photo shoot this summer. It is also a great place for a day date! I enjoy taking photos of nature as well, so I had a field day with my camera! Enjoy the photos below!

Beautiful Gardens! Huge amounts of space for kids and photos. Bring extra water because it does get hot fast and the breeze seem almost non existent. We will be returning for the fall/winter days for sure! (Discounted August day rates $3 and parking for $6)

As someone visiting from out of town, this place was on my list to check out and did not disappoint! It was beautiful with a nice variety of themes and flowers. The pumpkin village was also really neat. I would recommend if anyone else is coming for Dallas and looking for something to do, to check it out. Going in the morning is better if the weather is hot as there is a fair amount of areas in the sun, but there are also a good amount of shady areas as well, which were nice. Overall, it took me around 1.5-2 hours to go through everything with the exception of the children's area.

Beautifully kept gardens, water features, paved walkways with lots of room to roam. Even some of the most popular areas weren't crowded. A great way to spend an afternoon. I encourage you to bring drinks and maybe a picnic lunch and a blanket to take advantage of the beautiful area to just relax and enjoy.

So many picturesque spots, and it was way bigger than I thought it was going to be which I loved. We got a lot of steps in too! The chicken salad sandwich at lunch was delicious and make sure you check out the tasting pavilion by white rock lake area. They make delicious recipes for you to try each week. By the end of our visit, we left with a membership for two because your tickets get to go towards the membership. Can’t wait to come back very soon for the concerts and events!

Beautiful walk. Kid area was nice. A couple spots for water play in the kid area, my kiddo was upset I didn't bring extra clothes so she could get wet. So bring extra clothes and avoid the melt downs. The gardens were beautiful. Plenty of photo ops, places to rest, and water mist stations.

I visited during summer, the heat was palpable, but the shaded areas and water stations provided a welcomed respite, enabling us to comfortably explore. While some garden patches felt the strain of summer, the dedication of the gardeners was evident in their relentless efforts to keep the environment alive and flourishing. The staff were notably outstanding. Their friendly demeanor and readiness to assist significantly enhanced our visit. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time, and the picturesque grassy area by the lake left us yearning to return with a picnic basket in tow. I’m keen to witness the arboretum’s transformation across various seasons. For those considering a visit during the summer months, I’d advise procuring tickets and parking ahead of time. And don’t forget to wear a hat and hydrate!

So much fun!! We spent almost three hours walking around and really enjoyed every minute of it! It was pretty packed, but we were still able to see everything we wanted to and everyone was polite and tried to share the views with others. Coming from a smaller city with only a small zoo, this was amazing to see so many beautiful animals! The exhibits were clean, beautiful, the animals looked extremely well cared for and well fed! Wonderful experience!!

Greta for kids AND adults…loved seeing people On dates as well as kids enjoying all the animals. We got a coffee at the cafe where the staff was so sweet! We loved that there are more than just aquatic animals (although the turtles, sharks, penguins, fish and manatee are SO cool!) but also the birds in the aviary, flamingos, monkeys and even an ocelot AND the rainforest…so awesome! Definitely worth the money and time spent!

LINES... LINES... and more LINES!! It was a nice aquarium but definitely not worth the price. Two adults (one military) and one kid (3 yrs) almost $82.00. Parking across the street was $10.35 for a 24hr spot. We came on a weekend and the line was long to get to the main entrance. We purchased out tickets online, thankfully. The staff tells you to start on the 3rd floor but maybe stay on the bottom and work your way up. The place is small... even though the name has the word "World" in it. There is a lot to see but when it's over crowded, you're standing in lines just trying to get through it all. There are not enough bathrooms to accommodate all the people who go during peak times,so be prepared to stand in another line. The gift shop is decent but with everyone in the room it gets crowded quickly and it's hot. Overall, would not go back.

We drove in from Georgia for a concert and decided to stop in to the aquarium. I was skeptical at first due to location. However, the overall architecture was incredible. The collection of birds, fish, and reptiles blew us away and made us feel like we were in the jungles of the amazon. Phenomenal experience!! Extremely well maintained exhibits.

Such a great experience! We took our kids and had a blast. They love learning about different animals and seeing the ones we've studied in real life. This place has so many to see! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, willing to answer questions and make your trip more enjoyable. The paths are stroller friendly and there are even nursing rooms if you need to find a comfortable place to feed your baby! Don't hesitate to come here with the whole family 😁

The facilities are beautiful and well laid out. The habitats are open and perfectly landscaped making the animals feel so much closer and uncaged. The pelicans were so close I could actually touch and rub one. I didn't. I'm not crazy. And they offer adult beverages. Hello! All of the staff are friendly and helpful. The reason for the 4 stars is because the facilities are a bit small and the shark tank was small and disappointing. And I had saved that for last. I would revisit.

A lot packed in a small looking building. Has multiple levels to walk through and see different animals. Is more zoo vs aquarium though but kinda combine the two together which is cool. Was very busy when we got here on a Saturday afternoon, the line to get in wrapped around the building but was steadily moving. Due to its business trying to walk through and see some animals were hard. So be mindful and try to go at none busy time.

It was cool. Got there super early with my daughter. Felt like we bought out the place. The animals are friendly and can tell are be token care of. The sharks had a sense of humor. They will try to sneak up on you as a joke. We enjoyed. Get there early! If not will be in a long line.

Loved exploring the aquarium! It was pretty, clean and wonderful to see the wildlife. 🐟 However, we were disappointed that there wasn’t any vegan choices on the menu, not very inclusive. 😢 It would be great to see some food choices here that are vegan and gluten free. They have some sort of vegetarian options but without any sort of protein. Especially after seeing so many animals and fish. Fish are friends, not food! 🐟

The aquarium wasn't technically all an aquarium. There were tiers to the experience. Floor 1 was birds, and we had the pleasure of a toucan type of bird flying with us and through our party. Floor 2 was more amphibious/land animals and some water dwellers. Floor 3 was the huge aquarium, small aquariums (some were deep sea creatures where you couldn't use flash), then the one feature our kids absolutely loved was the Shark tunnel. You walk through the middle of the shark enclosure and can kind of see the sharks swimming casually out, and then all of a sudden, they're next to you! There were 2 saw sharks that were ginormous and very cool to see. It was a fantastic time and worth the trip! The Penguins were a huge deal to but off to the side, and not many people visited them.

They have a lot more than just aquatic animals, very cool. A bit pricy and was a little confusing to navigate all the levels and see everything. Got in without a mask, just told them we were medically exempt and they seemed to honer it. Definitely fun and pretty impressive to see all the different animals they have in the building

Usually packed but that’s pretty much expected because it’s the aquarium and everyone likes to bring their family, friends, & loved ones here. Honestly a really fun place. My favorite part was the penguins, and cheetah because they’re so cute! Nothing really exceptionally unique about this place but definitely a great place to go to if you like animals! Some places have AC but I would definitely recommend bringing yourself a little fan or using a pamphlet to fan yourself if you get hot!

Family fun. Some animal exhibits were not open, which is disappointing for the price you pay. Have improved on flow of traffic in order to see exhibits. Pre-paid parking is recommended-by very confined parking area. Should improve and limit the amount of people allowed into facility all at once-becomes very chaotic with big groups and baby strollers in narrow/small spaces.

Absolutely amazing! It was my dad’s first time being in an aquarium, and it definitely blew his socks off! We both loved it and saw some very cute creatures! In the gift shop, a older lady who worked there was telling us about the big manatee and how she was a rescue. She was very knowledgeable! The staff at the gift shops were kind. Definitely will come back! The parking situation was kinda weird, we bought a pass while getting tickets. We aren’t from the area, so finding the place to park was a bit of a hassle. Signs would be nice! I also love they partner with many different animal rescue groups to help bring endangered species back! I’d definitely support in any way I can! Loved it here! I’d definitely buy tickets online wayyy in advance. Makes everything less of a headache!

This 560 ft observation tower of Dallas, a major landmark is definitely better than similar structures of other cities in terms of 360 degree panoramic views and interactive digital experience. I loved this one of the most important and iconic structures of Dallas skyline. I anticipated the nice experience as soon as we rode through the glass elevator which takes 68 seconds to reach observation deck. I love the breathtaking views of interstate and flyovers with moving cars rolling on. Unfortunately, we couldn’t experience the rotating floor and the restaurant due to renovations. I think, considering this they should give some kind of concession. We saw only the Geo-Deck floor, which is the main attraction anyway. Hyatt Regency Dallas is connected to the Reunion Tower. You can pose with the fun props in front of Dallas skyline. This is walking distance from where the President John F Kennedy was assassinated. The Reunion Tower is the “Reunion” between the old and new of Dallas downtown. I guess, it would be more beautiful at the sunset time with hazy pink sky as the Sun goes down.

As far as any observation towers, buildings or decks go, this was one of the better experiences I've had. Ever. Monday night at the end of September is perhaps the best time you can choose to come here, as there was literally no line going up or down the elevator, no crowds blocking your view on top, and perfect, clear weather to enjoy the lit-up town below you. And unlike in New York, Chicago and basically everywhere else, you get free digital copies of photos they take of you downstairs. Next time, I'm going to try the restaurant on the top floor.

No better views anywhere in Dallas! Go at sunset, and you won't regret it! We took our toddler with us. He loved it so much! Cold in the evening. Wear a light jacket. It's such an iconic landmark in the Dallas skyline. What a cool experience.

Went here for the perfect date night on a Saturday evening. Tickets were around $25/person. Reunion Tower is connected to the Hyatt hotel, located near downtown. The tower offers a view of the beautiful Dallas skyline at 470 feet in the air (the best angles I’ve seen for all sides of Dallas). It’s best to go near the time of the sunset as the city begins to literally light up. They do offer engagement and date packages (which I imagine would make a date even more special). ***I would definitely go back, but my only concern was about safety precautions when allowing people in the tower. Bags and people were not really checked.

Very cool tower to visit in Dallas especially if you’re into stunning sunset and view! We also had free photos taken and got them sent for free on the top of the tower. Such a highly recommended place to take your date to! It’s a little packed but still worth it.

I visited the tower during the day and I was able to get a great panoramic view of the city. They even have some information of what some of the buildings in the distance are. It costs about $20 per person and the elevator ride to the top takes about 1 minutes. I believe there are 24 floors . The tower has a restaurant / cafe on top which was not open at the time of my visit. You can also exit a side door and get outside to go around the tower. It is a great experience if you are visiting Dallas.

Beautiful place to go to. The views were incredible. I got there during daylight, close to when the sun was setting and all the lights came on. Absolutely stunning at night time. It's a must see if you visit (or live in) Dallas.

A great place to admire the skyline of Dallas and the flat lands surrounding it! The open deck located 143 meters (470 feet) above ground offers 360 degree view, but honestly only a small portion of the view is interesting and that is the one towards downtown. The rest (excluding two bridges) is a bit boring as there is nothing else to see other than the flat lands. Dallas has a decent skyline and the view from the deck captures everything there is to see. I did enjoy the view after sunset much more than during the day (mainly because most of the skyscrapers were not aesthetically pleasing to me apart from Fountain Fountain Place). I imagined a place like this would be busy with tourists, but it was not. Very few people visited during Thursday afternoon with the exception of sunset hours. It was busy but not crowded, manageable. There are free stationary binoculars to use. The viewing platform has also an indoor seating with informative boards and interactive screens, a small gift shop and a restroom. Unfortunately the restaurant is not accessible without prior booking, so we could not even enjoy watching the sunset with a drink. I enjoyed the elevator ride as it passed through a glass shaft offering a view to the intersection nearby. The price of 20 USD is very affordable for what this experience is. There are plenty of shopping and eating options down at the tower lobby as it's part of the Hyatt Hotel complex. Reunion tower has its own dedicated parking lot with more than necessary spaces, so you won't have a problem parking.

Elevator ride makes your ears pop. But the Geo-deck is beautiful!! Especially at night with the Dallas skyline all lit up. The views are just great! My only complaint is the wait for the Elevator back down, they have no clear indication where the line starts or ends so alot of people were skipping. And they were doing some type of work outside and it smelled like sewer so that was less than attractive.

A must see! Best you come during sunset and when sun is completely gone. The whole experience 360 was breathtaking. The city illustrated at night with stunning colors of lights. You can lounge for hours and bring a date or go solo like me. Highly recommend it.

The George W Bush Presidential Library and Museum is such a cool museum! There is a replica of the classic Oval Office, a room where you can make presidential decisions that George W. may have faced, and at the time of this review until Dec. 31st this year, there is a special exhibit called “Freedom Matters” that features a pocketbook version of the Magna Carta, Emancipation Proclamation, a 1831 print of the Declaration of Independence, and much more!

Although we are not big fans of the Bush presidency, we found this library and it’s staff particularly engaging. The library is very well staffed and there is always a guide about that can explain an exhibit or give you some insight into the background of a particular display. The recreated Oval Office was terrific as was the 9/11 exhibit. Overall a very worthwhile visit and one of the better presidential libraries we have visited. We give it four clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale.

If you've not been, you don't know what your missing. It was so much more than we expected and worth every penny! The oval office was my favorite part. It is an actual replica of the oval office in Washington D.C. We enjoyed getting our picture taken behind the desk and had a lot of fun with that. The displays of gifts received from different countries was very interesting. And a piece of the towers that fell on 9-11 is on display. So many things that reminded us of what it was like when the adults were in charge (not the recent orange clown.) had us missing the old days when our culture was united after 911. I had forgotten what a true dignified president GW Bush was for our country. It's best if you go on a weekday that is not busy, for easier parking and less crowds. Enjoy!

i enjoyed my visit. lots to see and learn about his years as president. the oval office was very cool. they take your picture sitting at the desk. the staff was very friendly and talked a lot about each section. well worth the admission price.

I really enjoy the presidential museums. In case you didn't know, this is on the SMU campus. The place is VERY well put together with marble and wood mixed with technology (that's a 20 foot fall screen wrapped around the atrium). I was a child when he was first elected and in high school when he left office. There was a lot here that I had vague memories of, but never studied because it was happening while I was growing up. The exhibits are extremely flattering to Texas culture and I think they did a tasteful job of laying out the challenges and pressures that he encountered as president and how/why he acted as he did. I feel much more respect and understanding now. They also had a really interesting exhibit on the outside of his new venture - painting. I was not aware of this at all, and it was kind of fun to see him smiling and making art in the videos.

Such a wonderful museum and information center! This is a must visit location for everyone. Make sure to prepare yourself for a lot of reading when you get here though. There are also many shows/mini-shows that are played within this facility if you don’t want to read too much. There are many fun activities to do here too. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience in this wonderful place.

The reason for three stars is the price. $50 for myself and 12 year old. No AAA discounts. Easy to get to. Very clean and nicely laid out. When you have a tween in a museum you have maybe an hour tops. So that makes this $$$. Then the pics of you in the oval office are $33!! The goal here needs to be to get as many people in as possible to view this place. And that makes it unaffordable for most.

Great atmosphere! Great food! Excellent customer service! Our waiter was very knowledgeable about everything. The steaks we're cooked to perfection. The lobster Mac and cheese was cheesy and creamy. The desert was great. Overall an excellent experience. We will be back.

One of my favorite places! 😍 Food is amazing and the steaks are solid, perfectly cooked and excellently seasoned... every time. I think our server's name was Cory. He was awesome. Friendly, knew not just the menu but specifically understood our unique drink order requests, and made our anniversary evening great. Really enjoyed our evening. Absolutely 💯 superb! Every single thing we had here was amazing! We had a reservation (a must) and we walked right in. Service from Nelly was amazing.. she was friendly, fun and smiled the whole time! Most of the staff wears masks.

One of our favorite steakhouses. Food is great and service is amazing. We come here for important meetings and special occasions. Last Friday we celebrated a milestone Birthday and loved every minute of it. Lobster Bisque, Filet Mignon, Filet Duo, Lobster Mac & Cheese and of course the cheesecake with additional vanilla ice cream for dessert. It was a feast. Drinks were also good. Special mention to the amazing bread and butter that is always a hit as soon as it arrives at that table.

Exceptional service, top-notch steak and lamb, huge sides (the best value on the menu), and enough room to enjoy your meal without banging elbows with the next table. May get less traffic on weeknights due to location, but no complaints for faster service.

I came here last night for dinner and everything here was perfect! Friendly staff, quick service, and steaming hot food. The New York Strip plate along with the Broccoli was beyond amazing! Now, be prepared to break the bank here, it’s definitely not cheap lol. I’ve never seen a Pappas restaurant so organized and caring until I walked into this one for the first time. Thanks again Pappas Bros. Steakhouse! Highly recommend for anyone looking for something upscale, cozy, and intimate. Oh and they have awesome Valet Parking here too!

Nothing special. Would I go again that that price? Nope nope nope. Steak slightly burned on the outside. Mac and cheese didn't taste like cheese at all. It was sweet. Why? I do not know. They did do decent fries though I guess. You're much better off going to a Brazilian Steakhouse than this place.

The best dining experience I have ever had. The service we received was unmatched. Our drinks never got empty, our appetizer, entree and dessert was perfectly timed. The food was unlike anything else I’ve had. Honestly a once in a lifetime experience and I hope to be back someday. They set the bar extremely high.

My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. This was our first visit but it most certainly won't be the last! The oysters were delicious but the crab cake stole the show! We both ordered steak for our entrees and they were both cooked to perfection, very tender and tasty! The creamed spinach was also very good. Our server Maria was the best! She was very attentive and helpful in making the decision on what to order from such a wide selection. Can't wait to go back!

Went with our youngest late December 2022 before heading to the airport. While peak holiday season was super crowded, there wasn’t a huge wait to be seated, and food was phenomenal with ridiculously large portions that none of us finished. Only (small) gripe was the jumbo asparagus was a little undercooked. That said, would still highly recommend and one of the better steaks we’ve had in Texas. Bonus kudos to the hilariously on-point napkins!

This place is special. Everyone I have taken here has love their food including me. I usually get the Trout & Brussel Sprouts. I love the sauce that comes on the trout. Mimosa was on point. Will definitely continue to come here. Prices are really good for the quality of food. Wonderful atmosphere and service. They have a nice bar to enjoy a game & grab a bite. It’s a little small so arrive early on a busy weekend night. Great place to take on a date or anyone your looking to impress.

Went here to celebrate my birthday. We used the online portal to make a reservation and just simply selected birthday for the celebration option. When we were seated our server, Jeremy, was already aware we were there for a birthday and his excellent service combined with the heavenly food made this one of the best birthday dinners I've ever had. We asked for our dessert to go and he went ahead and brought it out plated with a candle in one and a happy birthday written on the other, I couldn't stop smiling. I absolutely recommend Kenny's Wood Fired Grill and also recommend getting the crab cake, it may seem pricey, but it's hands down the best crab cake I've ever eaten.

The filet steak here was incredible. A great flavorful crustz with a perfectly cooked and juicy interior. Lots of flavor. We also had the brussel sprouts as our sides and they were equally amazing. The pop up bread at the start was a really unique start to most steakhouse breads and very good. It was classy but not format which made it easy to bring the kids. Everyone had a great time. It is expensive though. So it's more of a special occasion dinner unless you are driving up in a Lamborghini. We probably spent around 60-70 dollars per person. But it was one of those rare actually worth it expensive places.

My favorite go to place! Always enjoy the food, drinks, service and atmosphere! Me and my girlfriend came for birthday brunch. Sat at a table back in the bar area. Barry took great care of us. My favorite signature drink Footini! Always enjoy several dishes, but let me tell you about my dessert!! The Peanut-butter pie is outrageously delicious 😋 Kennys never disappoints.

The atmosphere was great for a romantic evening out. The wait staff were on point and friendly and took care of us. Including removing an item from our bill for being under cooked. The crispy shrimp from the appetizer menu was so good. Here are the issues I had. The salad that I ordered had way too much dressing and our burger wasn't cooked to our liking, but they took care of that. I will go back for that shrimp for sure and try something different on the menu.

I had the Coconut Shrimp, and Redfish with a loaded baked potato. My boyfriend had the Porkchop, Mac and Cheese, and Side Salad. His son had the Ribeye, Potatos, Asparagus, and Mac and Cheese. While I usually am amazed with this place...the Porkchop was raw, and the steak, which was ordered Medium Well, was also under cooked. We tried to being it to the attention of the server, and he brushed it off on the thickness of the cut...however, for these prices, they should know how to properly cook any cut. All in all, we enjoyed our meal. But, may take a break for a bit in hopes it improves...

My, my, my… where do I begin? Business lunches with industry partners are always very productive. Meeting for lunch at Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse definitely set the tone for great things to come of our meeting. The creative juices were flowing like crazy. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome, impressive decor and an inviting atmosphere. Our server Sheldon provided these first timers with impeccable service from arrival to departure. He was very knowledgeable, accommodating, warm and friendly. Sheldon made amazing suggestions. Every menu item ordered was delectable, service was exemplary, the location was perfect, lunch prices were great and the vibe was on point🤩. There’s a handicapped entrance, a bar, a private dining room & an outdoor patio which would be perfect in the right temps. You will definitely enjoy every moment of your dining experience. Party of 6, parking was easy, in a lot right next door for $10.50. They added a 20% tip "for large parties". Pros: I liked the decor and atmosphere very much, we were able to talk at dinner without having to yell to be heard and the staff were all very friendly and personable. The chicken fried Quail was excellent, the pork & collard greens were unique and good also (both appetizers). The salads were all pretty good. The lava cake was outstanding. Cons: service was SLOW (we didn't mind a lot as we were visiting with friends, but if we had a show to make our some other engagement, it would have been a problem. When we arrived at 6pm, they weren't too busy, by the time we were done at 9pm they were very busy), I expect they are short staffed. The service was okay, but more what I would expect at Chili's (forgotten appetizers, sauces, etc.) than a nice steak house in Dallas. The unfortunate bummer was the steak. None of them were cooked as ordered. Mine, NY strip, was ordered med-rare, came well done-. Another was ordered med well & came very med rare. Just to be fair, we didn't complain or send them back & I expect they would have made it right, but the mark Ashley took 3 hours, I can't imagine having to wait for steaks to be redone. Overall enjoyable evening, but I had better steak a couple of weeks ago at Texas roadhouse for less than half the price.

Incredible is an understatement! Our server Tomas was so fun and friendly. Very attentive, great at his job! We loved all his recommendations. By far some of the best food I've ever had!

Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse really goes above and beyond for it's food and customer experience. A great place whether you're hosting a corporate party or just looking for great food. I booked a large party here and even though the was a small mix up, they were very accommodating. All the staff were awesome especially the manager and waiter we had. The waiter in particular has worked there forever and had an AWESOME personality and great knowledge about the menu. All the food we had was amazing too. The Wild Game Trio is a must try! Also, the Wagyu Bone-In New York Strip was soooooo perfectly cooked was great flavor. All the sides were very good to especially the asparagus. Overall, awesome! For sure I'll be coming back here when I'm in town again.

Y.O. Ranch steakhouse is a family own business. Who's origins date back to the 1800s. The ranch was purchased from original owners and has remained in the current family. This downtown Dallas restaurant has all the charm and history that one would expect from a Texas steakhouse. The decor and ambiance exudes confidence and passion for their craft. Wait staff and management are courteous and knowledgeable in a way that only Texans pull off. When you place your knife and fork on the steak and that, oh, so satisfying first cut immediately tells you that this is going to be a great steak. Your mouth tells you hurry up. The price point is at the market for this area. $$$

Wonderful service, and great food! The steaks were cooked and flavored well. Food arrived in a timely manner and everything tasted wonderful. If you like mac n cheese. The gouda mac n cheese here is really great.

What a fun experience!!! We read that there was a dress code, and clearly, there is not. So, we were a bit over dressed but looking nice. The old fashioned was not exactly up to snuff, but decent. I expected the finer quality cherries, tbh. We both ordered the "Wild Game Trio", and it was outstanding!!! We also had the alligator sausage and sides of fresh spinach (which was a little salty for me) and the mac&cheese, which is always good. For dessert, we decided to try the Bone Marrow Sundae, and we were not disappointed! Wow! What a tasty, light treat! Next time we're in Dallas, we'll have to stop through... in more comfy clothing. 😏

We had an amazing meal but even better Rory took us on a tour and shared with us the amazing history of the restaurant and the family that runs the farm. Rory was without a doubt one of the best servers we have ever had!

The decor screams steakhouse and the food did not disappoint. Make sure you open your pallet because there are many exotic wild game options. The venison roll ups had a unique flavor and were incredibly tender, however the pimento cheeses fritters were just OK. I really enjoyed the prime ribeye with the bone marrow butter (so juicy). Just be sure not to put to much butter on because it can actually overpower the steak taste. The service was really good too.

This was hands down the worst concert experience of my life. My husband and I paid extra for V.I.P. tickets for a show two years ago. Due to Covid, it was postponed until last weekend. (Frustrating, but understandable.) By the time we actually got to see the concert though, two of the three bands we paid to see weren't on the list, and had been replaced. We were at least notified about that. We were NOT notified about the fact that the venue itself had changed. We bought tickets for The Gas Monkey, a large venue, and VIP seating, with a table, chairs, private bar and a GREAT VIEW. What we got was a sports bar, converted into a music venue with NO SEATING ANYWHERE, no tables in the VIP section, a very limited bar with over priced canned beer. (Draft was downstairs only.) And literally NO VIEW. My husband is 6'5 and even he couldn't see the stage. The venue must be aware of the viewing issue, as the concert was being streamed on tiny televisions inside the bar area. There were FAR too many people there also. There is no way that could have been up to safety standards in case of a fire. We will NEVER go see another concert there, and we were not the only ones complaining.

This was a nice club with food and live entertainment with 2 stages. The inside stage area was somewhat crowded but it did have a separate bar. There is a ramp from the lower area to the slightly higher middle area between the stages for those who have an issue with stairs We saw the legendary Dale Watson there. It was a great show! The staff was courteous and very efficient. They did have Lone Star beer but only in cans or on tap. I felt that my food was just okay but we were there for the music anyway and it was nice to have something to eat during the show. We would definitely go there again.

My wife and I visited for the first time last night to see Tech N9ne. Great show. We got there early and ate. She had the braised beef and I had the blues burger. Both were good but the braised beef was better. We had a new server who was training so we'll cut her some slack and not knock anything off for the couple little hiccups. Looking forward to the next show we want to see there. Definitely a cool experience overall.

Frankly, the last time I went, there was called the Gas Monkey Bar and Grill. Got some tickets to see The Winery Dogs... a talented group of musicians... kind of a supergroup... The show was sold out. The weather went south and it was pretty chilly... area was pretty well protected for the awful weather... ordered food at a busy but fast moving bar. Very little waiting - but decided to eat - most places you're taking your chances... Holy cow.. food was aweome... worthy of sitting down and enjoying... the lady had a BBQ stuffed spud that was.really good and I had a bacon blue cheese burger that us one.of the best I have had in a while. I made the mistake of getting a second patty... was cheap and I was not sure what kind of burger it would be. I was stuffed... was a great burger - super fast (well run kitchen is the only amswer) and the folks behind the bar were quick and friendly a d kept it moving- was nice to see people's faces - no typical grumble of took too long. Bar staff was on point. Parking is easy and easy out at the end. Can't wait for the weather to break a little more - but I will have words with Mother Nature in a different post. Go.. Eat... TIP WELL... AND ENJOY THE TUNES... SHOW WAS GREAT TOO BY THE WAY!!

Nestled in the crossroads of 35E and Loop 12 sits Amplified Live, my favorite venue for live performances in the Metroplex. I recently took in a concert which showcased the intimate environs of their inside stage. Larger acts are usually on the outside stage but due to adverse weather conditions, the show was held inside. One feature I love about Amplified is the sound quality. First, they don't try to deafen you there. No doubt it's loud but not too loud. Second, the staff are friendly and professional. I felt safe the whole time, even when the crowd got rowdy and a mosh pit started. I took a break towards the back and while seated a woman came by and asked me if she could get me anything to drink. I answered that I would like a cola and she brought me a Coke. When I tried to pay for it, she refused to take it. I offered her a tip and that's when she revealed that she was the manager and couldn't take gratuity. It was then that I knew Amplified Live is more than a live venue, it's an experience.

Was there for Morbid Angel on the VIP balcony. Sound is OK for the most part. They need to consider point some monitors upward or minimum, in a more neutral position rather than down into the crowd. VIP is obviously more expensive, but the sound isn't VIP.

Cool place. Plenty of beer stops. Even when crowded, not much of a wait time for the restroom (including women’s). Sound throughout. I’m short, so I couldn’t see much, even on balcony. Had to hold my phone up for pics. There is a nice lounge upstairs (VIP?) that was cool & comfortable with sound and tv’s to see the show. Everyone was nice, staff & patrons alike. Down was a hell of a show! Even ran into old friends.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon, it was pretty empty. The service was great and fast. The food was good up until I cut into my steak… I requested medium rare and received a rare. It was still bleeding a lot. By the time our server came back around it’d been 15-20 mins. They asked if I wanted them to cook it longer but everyone else was finished eating already. Make sure you cut into your steak first thing before eating so this doesn’t happen when you visit this location.

Let’s lead with how beautiful this place was on the out and inside the food was amazing and server was a remarkable person and was quick on his feet didn’t over crowd and brought me enough bread to make me so happy. Now my biggest thing about any restaurant is the bathroom and how comfortably I can wash my hands before I eat and how comfortable I am to use it before I leave. It was dirty when I went to the restroom.

Loved this location. My Son and I came in Sunday evening about 7 and sat at the bar to watch the game. The three lovely female bartenders were awesome. Service with a smile. The food was excellent. Drinks were spot on. Visited just for the weekend but will come back here to this location when I visit again.

The food was really tasty. The place is really nice from outside to the inside. The service was ok, didn't really seem that pleased to have us there.

Every time I'm visiting in Dallas I have to eat at Pappadeaux. Fresh food loving staff beautiful courtyard atmosphere. A bit of a wait but we'll worth it. Enjoyable tasty food seafood at its finest!

Craving some shrimp so we came here. Honestly their food is really good, so much flavor and the portions are huge. Margaritas are really good but I also had a Blue Bayou Hawaiian drink, this is my favorite, you can’t go wrong with this drink. Everything here was really good, the staff was great as well. 10/10

Love, love, love Pappadeaux. The menu can be a bit overwhelming with so many choices, but the service team went out of their way to be friendly and help explain the different options. My wife and I ate at the bar because it was close to closing time and we wanted to be in and out, but the food, bar staff and environment was so friendly time just slipped by having a great time.

I haven't been to many places where EVERYTHING was satisfactory, but this was it! I was a little skeptical because I'm not big on seafood, but they had enough for a person like myself! 😋 I wish I came here before, the service, and food was worth it as with the atmosphere! I'll be back as soon as I possibly can!
