This museam has an exhibition of the famous Brazilian twins world renowned for thei graffiti work. The exhibition is well set out and detailed. I love art so I loved this place. More over the architecture of the museam is wonderful. It is truly fascinating from an architectural and engineering perspective.
Very interesting and unique architecture. The museum at the the time I visited had a mixture of modern art and art from Africa, Asia, and native Brazil. Its worth a look around the place even if modern art is not your style like me.
Amazing museum with an unforgettable building design. There are various exhibitions inside, which include contemporary art and an impressive Asian and African collection of works. My favorite exhibition this time was “BANCOS INDÍGENAS DO BRASIL”, which displayed more than 200 banks from 40 ethnic groups in the Amazon. Understanding the worldview of indigenous people was an inspiring experience. It could be quite cold in the museum, though, remember to bring a jacket.
Good stopping point if you’re visiting the city. The museum gallery had some cool contemporary art works mixed with some antique items. It also has a dedicated area for Oscar Niemeyer.
The exhibition items are extremely beautifully set in scene. The exhibition is generally very well curated and diverse exhibitions, both modern and traditional, are on display. During my visit quite some rooms and the eye were closed foe the setting up of new exhibitions (08.04.22). Entrance costs 30. Drinks and bottles are not allowed inside, but there are free lockers available. Good coffee in the museum café.
Free on Wednesday even for tourists. Lots of buses that goes there. The 50 reals for 12hrs to see 26 touristic locations is ok but you will lose 3 hrs here as it is amazing. The botanical gardin is also amazing (3hrs). I suggest walk/uber/omnibus for these top places. I like the African room and Chinese! Great art works. Free washrooms and water. Normal price is 30 reals.
Loved this museum and city! I had so much to learn about the entire city! A lot of history in art, trade and politics.
A great indoor space for a miles-long stroll on a bad weather day. Exhibitions (that try hard to be interesting) take place mostly in the undescriptive, adjacent "square" annex, so what is actually worth seeing is 85% outside. Store offers an array of objects using the museum logo (=outline). Still by far tourist attraction #1 in town.
The museum has an amazing curador, nice art, very good art selection and the build it self is a piece of art. I strong recommend the visit. Also the coffee is really good ☺️
This famous museum is on every city tour. The architecture of the museum building is impressive, especially the adjacent building known as The Eye, which is quite stunning. There are wide open picnic spaces and grounds for walking and hanging out with friends. There are admission fees to enter the buildings to see the exhibits.

Well worth the visit! Immaculately kept botanical gardens with a beautiful greenhouse. There’s also a new “four seasons” walkway that has recently been installed behind the glass house. This is also really lovely, with a wide selection of tropical plants, sculptures and covered walkway. There’s also other shaded areas, a sensory garden as well as lakes and forests.

These gardens are quite nicely set out and the flowers, particularly orchids, are nice to see if one visits in season. On this trip we were out of seasn but we were more fortunate when we visited in April 2018. There are also some exotic birds and other wildlife to be seen. Altogether a nice place to visit.
One of the most beautiful places in Curitiba! Well worth a visit to stroll through the gardens, bring a blanket and snacks, or go for a long walk or run.
Free entrance. Washrooms. Could be improved by providing filtered water. Can buy the 26 touristic stops bus for 50 reals. I suggest to start here as you will want to spend at least 3hrs here. It is one of the top botinaca gardens I've witnessed. After spending your day then buy your pass as it will last 24hrs. Activate it the next day because you will want to stay the whole afternoon. It is that good! A masterpiece. Other countries or cities should really learn from them. They can also improve the mirador top point by either cleaning the windows or opening a window to allow a mirante picture. My top garden I've visited in south and Central America.

The German Wood was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had! That place is magic! If you got toddiers it can be a educational place to go for the stories by the book Hänsel & Gretel ( Grimm Brothers) are all spread around and you can getting close to the story tale end by the walking toward til the end of the trail.

It's wonderful to see how an old quarry has been transformed into this magical park. It's a landmark and example for other countries to follow the same. A serene place and very calm. A good place to visit.

Good old Madalosso... A must-visit if you are in Curitiba. Large and noisy salon, fast and attentive service, “ok-ish” price for an average quality food (in large quantities). It’s not really the best place in town but I keep visiting them after +30 years because I’m nostalgic and love their fried polenta - good stuff!
Very quick service, maybe too quick. It's a pasta rodízio, meaning that there is no menu and they just bring out dishes for you to try. Food was just OK, definitely not in line with what they charge. However, it's worth a visit to admire their efficiency and to check it off the Curitiba to-do list.
Standard. Years go by and the place is just the same, well a little more sofisticated. The food is standard, you know what to expect. The place is huge so you will never have to wait long for a table. All in all good, traditional. Hand made beer added a nice touch. Check it out.

A famous and historical restaurant in Curitiba, at Italy area. If you are not willing to enter an "All You Can Eat" style, my suggestion is to go to the Old Madalosso "Velho Madalosso".
The service is good, all waiters are very efficient and quick. But the food is nothing special and if you’re looking for something cozy, this is not the right place.

I went there twice for dinner - sat once in the big salon in the back, and once near the souvenir shop. Service was way better upstairs! Food tastes really good and the portions are well served. You MUST try the submarine beer with the Steinhäger shot! It's awesome plus you get to take the small mug home as a souvenir! We took 5 of them with us lol. Prost!
The bar (restaurant) is pretty good, we ate there twice and I'm not the biggest fan of german food. But the plates serve two people and the atmosphere is nice. They have a flag in the ceiling and a souvenir shop inside. The waiters are not very polite, we were served by 3 different waiters in 2 different days, so probably it's accurate. The bar doesn't look very big from the outside, but it's very large inside.

Food was not great it got to the table before the drinks and I sended back because the Fries look burned they took it back And gave us another one that wasn’t much better, then we finished we wanted to order more drinks and food but the waiter took forever to come back to the table so we decided to just leave before cursing 🤬 someone out. Excellent Italian restaurant in Curitiba. The popular menu is 32,74. Essentially you pick type of pasta (#32 which is pasta stuffed with shrimp) and the sauce (#74 creamy/cheesy seafood sauce — thick clamshowder like). Delicious. Good selection of wine both full and half bottle from Argentina, Italian and more. Recommend to finish off with creme of papaya as desert. It is a blended of vanilla ice cream and fresh papaya with Cassis liquor (secret sauce). Refreshing!

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! I was the first guest for the night at 520pm, ordered an appetizer and steak w/pasta. 1.5 hours to be served my main course!!!!! I had to ask for it!!! I had 4 different waiters during this time. Continually had to ask for service!!!! Crab appetizer was nasty, with crunchy shell mixed in. Alcoholic drinks were way over-priced. The table next to me arrived 1 hour after I did, and received their main course within 30 minutes. Leadership and staff were worried way more about the private party going on than regular paying guests. Absolutely excusable, and ZERO apologies!!!!!
One of the highest quality restaurants I have ever been to. The place is quite big, with 2 floors in the mall, and you cannot get a table easily even on weekdays. Of course, this is not for nothing. The staff is great and welcoming, they have someone who speaks English so there is no problem with that. The atmosphere is great! Nice ambient music and a bit dim lighting that gives a warm tone to the place. And the food, great food! The only problem we had was bacon. We do not eat pork (we made it clear from the beginning) but it seemed that the chef does not consider bacon a pork. That was a bummer as one of the dishes was left untouched. In general, it was a wonderful experience and a great dinner.
Just awful!! Service and food!! Took more than 45 minutes between we order and get the food!! We ordered entrées and main course and everything came all together!.! The food was terrible!! The shrimp soup or broth came with just 2 very small shrimps. The Escondido de shrimp had no taste at all. Not anymore!!!!
Frankly, the food was pretty lackluster for the price tag and the style of the restaurant. The "Camarão Itacaré" was nothing more than 18 shrimps (for 2 persons), rice, tomato sauce, a thin layer of some tasteless cheese and 40% of the volume of the plate filled with cheap grease potato chips. Another unpleasant detail was the Guaraná Antarctica bottle covered with rust and dirt. This restaurant really need to double-check their sanitary conditions, because really it looks appalling. The place looks pretty nice and the waiters were pretty efficient. That's why I put one extra star. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend to anyone due the disappointing food and bad conditions of the soft drink bottles.

I wish I could give this 6 out of 5 stars. Absolutely outstanding experience at Batel Grill. If you are a fan of bbq meat, this is the best place in Curitiba, hands down. They have a massive selection of delicious fresh salad and accompaniments and the table service is impeccable. Various cuts of meat cooked to perfection and all brought to the table with a smile. I can't recommend BG enough. So looking forward to my next visit! Obrigado

okay, I would like to give constructive criticism. First I want to highlight the positive points: The waiting time is calm and understandable since no reservation was made. In terms of food, the meats were very good! and the waiting area outside is very cozy. The waiters serve extremely well!! and very fast, even though it was super full. Now my review: first, the bathrooms. When my boyfriend entered the bathroom he had a BIG, not very pleasant surprise... extremely unpleasant, it would be good if there was someone in charge of cleaning the bathrooms. Second: the tables part is extremely saturated!! There were so many people in such a small space and the tables were very close to each other, it was very unpleasant since the atmosphere was very chaotic and noisy. I suggest placing fewer and more separated tables, and calm music, since the atmosphere makes you want to leave quickly and we were not able to enjoy our dinner calmly.
Very good steakhouse, with high quality meat, a lot of salad and pasta options (including sweat) . There is a japanese buffet next to main buffet, which was outstanding. It's a "eat as much as you can" place in high quality meal.
Excellent food, worst atmosphere. If you go there to get fed (a bit like geese…) with good meat then you will get what you are looking for. If you want to have a nice dinner to catch up with friends or family, please run away. The place is way too busy/noisy and has no window. There seems to be some music, that is just impossible to hear. The waiters are admirable, very fast and agile and I feel sorry for their working conditions.
By far the number one BBQ place in this city. Service is amazing the food is amazing the value is amazing anyone who comes to curitiba needs to come to this place to experience the real deal Churrascaria.
